my headcanon is that most of the ScarVis plot points in WandaVision had a version that actually happened during stolen moments and so white Vision with menories isn’t quite “missing” that time (other than the twins ☹️) but instead Wanda was just revisiting actual events under less stressful circumstances

I'm curious as to how you became a Scarlet Vision (Wanda/Vision) shipper and what are some headcanons regarding them?

Hey there! I LOVE this question so much.

So my foray into Scarletvision was a little bit backwards. I saw GIFs and chatter about Wandavision here on Tumblr and I had no idea who they were (other than Paul Bettany who I adored already but didn't quite follow) and decided to watch the show, not realizing it was Marvel! I just thought they were adorable and decided to watch the show! I watched the first 3 episodes before I realized what I was watching lmao. But by that point I was already invested so I went back and I watched all the Marvel movies in order before the next new episode came out and I was hooked. And here I am now :D

Here are some of my favorite Scarletvision headcanons!

When Wanda was pregnant with the twins, her favorite meal was Kraft Macaroni and Cheese in the blue box, which was a relief to Vision because he could actually cook that (I know I've mentioned this one here before but it's my favorite so yeah).

Speaking of cooking, Vision somehow never got any better at it. For as capable and smart as he is, there's just something about cooking that he can't figure out. Baking on the other hand? He's great at it. While all cooking is science, baking is an exact science and he grasps that fully. Wanda reaps the benefits.

Wanda was a Pinterest junkie. She mostly looked at things with witchy vibes and aesthetics, showing Vision and planning for their future home (pre-WV -- then things happened :( and yeah). Now it's not so much Pinterest anymore than trying to find some semblance of a life without her brother, significant other and the twins.

Vision liked to read out loud to Wanda. They'd sit around for hours during stolen moments as Vision read and Wanda listened. She lovingly referred to Vision as her walking audiobook.

👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?

Oh yeah, I absolutely do. 😂 I wrote some very dark Robstar a while ago that I'm reluctant to even edit, let alone consider posting. It is an angsty, plotless mess. Besides that, there are also a few Tara x OC fics that I had a lot of fun writing but can't quite work up the courage to post. They're shameless fluff fics.

🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc)?

I wrote almost 40,000 words from a single perspective a month or so ago when I finished "It's Only a Secret". Which is crazy, because I am a chronic head jumper. It was the first time I'd written anything longer than a one-shot from a single perspective. And it was Cyborg's POV, which I'd never even written before! It was a lot of fun. Overall, I would say I'm most proud of that fic, for that reason and a million others. I can't wait to post it, but I'm fully expecting little to no reception. I have no idea where the CyJinx fans are at, they seem to be hibernating. 😂

😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

Hm, maybe my habit of writing new things rather than editing what I've already finished so I can post it? 😂 I haven't been the most active lately in posting for that very reason. I'm not too bad about finishing fics, but editing can bog me down. I've decided to alternate writing and editing days though, so maybe that will help.

💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

I'm not entirely sure how to answer this one because I don't entirely know what it means. 😅 I mean, fanfiction is basically headcanons tacked onto plot, right? Sooo, I guess the headcanon I use the most often behind the scenes is Tara having some form of bipolar disorder. I never address it directly in fics, but I write her that way as best I know how.

🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave).

Jumping back to the Marvel Scarletvision fandom for this one! It has to be The Age of Miracles by thelilacfield, or @maximoffvizh on tumblr. This one scene in chapter 3 gets me everytime, I swear I've gone back to re-read it a dozen times. It's so softttt. I'm also in love with something good and right and real by secretsarenotforfree. It has the best vibe of all the fics I've read and drew me in so easily and completely. The Tyrandy is incredibly well-written too. Masterful.

🌈 What inspired you to write [insert fic here]?

Well, a fic wasn't given for this prompt, but about half of mine are inspired by music, especially the Titans stuff. "Reckless", "My eyes oh they're Stormy", "Slow dancing in the Darkness", and "Please don't cry" included. The Marvel stuff has more random, scattered inspirations. omg headcanon where Wanda and Vis are meeting up in Europe for the first time. And one night they’re just talking and enjoying each other’s company after weeks apart. Vision’s offline and free, Wanda feels content for the first time in her months as a fugitive. he asks her to say something in Sokovian, he wants to hear how the language sounds on her tongue (though he can’t understand it without his connection to the internet). So she starts talking, talking about how much their time together means, how she gets scared about how he makes her feel and is worried it will all be taken away from them one day. she ends by saying something sappy and stereotypical like ‘you bring light to my life’. He asks what she said. Wanda thinks for a moment. ‘I said I’d like to get pasta for dinner from that restaurant down on the Seine,’ she replies. Vision tries to keep track of the words, he writes them down on a slip of paper and keeps it in his jacket pocket for the rest of the trip. finally when he’s back in America and online he looks up the meaning and has to resist the temptation to turn around, get straight back on the aeroplane and return to her arms and the safety of their shared bed.

In the happy-go-lucky Avengers compound found family universe, Wanda dresses up as Jeannie from “I Dream of Jeannie” and Vision dresses as Data from TNG for halloween. Alternately, another year they both go as Mortica and Gomez Addams, and the next as Data and Tasha Yar.

Vision Headcanon

Okay, so I’m a total sucker for the “comforted-by-hearing-someone’s-heartbeat” trope, and I was writing it into a Scarlet Vision fic I have in the works when I realized that Vision’s heart probably isn’t like a “normal” human heart.  What would a synthezoid heart look like, work like, sound like, etc?

All beings need internal electrical signals to function.  I imagine Vision can’t just have the standard human electrical “system,” though, because of the A.I. component.  So to me, the most logical explanation is that he has a sort of modified continuous pacemaker.

It also stands to reason that it’s made of vibranium, because a) he has other vibranium parts and b) IRL pacemakers are vulnerable to physical contact and electro-magnetic fields.  Just an interesting tidbit.

And how does this relate to the trope?  For those of you who don’t know, pacemaker recipients (or really anyone with a cardiac device) often report an additional “clicking” noise in their heartbeats, which would be amplified if your body had a lot of metal (like Vision), which doesn't absorb sound well.  And Wanda loves listening to it anyway because it’s a part of him, and she loves him, all of him.

This makes me so happy, I can’t even describe it!  (Probably definitely in part because although I don’t have a pacemaker, I do have a medical device and a loud AF heartbeat.)

Hehehe! My headcanon is that Wanda loves to touch it. Especially when they’re getting naughty. Whether she’s caressing it with her hands while she’s taking off his pants or grabbing it to pull him closer, or as a way to push him in deeper if you catch my drift :)

7. a pre-canon head canon 

ooooh ok power related because I love exploring Wanda’s relationship with her powers BUT she definitely has this inner conflict between wonder and rejection of her new magic. I feel like some of this comes across in her conversation with Vision in CW where she says ‘but after this, I am something else’. So yes pre-canon she definitely went through the internal journey of trying to reject her powers before learning she could use them to make the world a better place. 

9. a missed scene that definitely happened 

I don’t want to say too much about it because the arguments I've seen going around this fandom ugh--- but there was definitely a scene where Tony sat Wanda down and had a chat about Stark Industries. He explained his past, where he had gone wrong with SI and showed how he was trying to make amends. After this Wanda 100% gets involved with various SI charities and draws on her own experiences to help others. 

12. something Wanda believes about Vision that isn’t true 

I personally love that Vis was the one being insecure in their relationship in IW and Wanda’s smile at his stuttered confessions is so sweet I love them . We talk a lot about Vision being insecure in his humanity and wondering if he is enough for Wanda BUT I reckon Wanda would have been equally as insecure in her feelings for him, particularly between AoU and CW. (particularly with the stone as a source of connection between them that might cause her to devalue her feelings as just longing for more power?)

I just imagine them both having this assumption that neither would be loved as much as what they feel for each other. So this mutual yearning pre-relationship where Wanda agonises over thinking Vision doesn’t want her vs. Vision pining over the fact that he thinks he’s not real enough for her. What do you think? Maybe I could write a short about this in the future.
