Unlike what may seem because of my studyblr, my life is a mess. I let everything pile up for one weekend after forgetting that i do NOT, under ANY circumstances, can let stuff pile up like this because I panick. I freeze, I cry, and I just dtay immovable because I get way too anxious to do anything. Argh, IB year 2 is significantly harder than year 1 and I’m not dealing with it well

Not just that. Natives (usually americans) make so many grammar mistakes that foreigners don’t make like “she is more prettier” and “the test went good” and even grotesque mistakes like “you is” that americans say ALL the time and foreigners probably won’t say. But when we make a simple grammar mistake or mispronounce a word (I mean, I get the highest scores for my essays in America but lord forgive me if i misspronounce the word centimeter) we are torned apart and the natives who make these mistakes don’t even know they’re making a mistake because no one has even the courage to correct them. But a foreigner? Oh bitch they will fo sho correct and make fun of a foreigner

look man im a native english speaker and i’ve been mispronouncing a crap ton of words because i never looked up the pronunciation for any of them but if you make fun of how a foreigner pronounces an english word either because of their accent or having never heard that word before i will fucking fight you because english has shitty pronunciation rules and none of them make sense fuck off

(Don’t tell anyone but I had a whole crying sesh before sitting down ans trying again). Math has always been my weakness. Big time. And it is especially hard when I’m expected to know things about lines and slopes when all my friends learned that in 7th grade and it is now common sense to them but I was never taught that because at the time I was living in a different country in a different language with different math. No high school teacher has ever had the guts to sit me down and talk to me about basic knowledge that I don’t have. But hey! I’m learning! I’m so proud! Baby steps will get me there!

Hello!!

I have been absent for a fat second. For a lot of reasons. I kinda was taking school in a very non studyblr fashion. I’m talking about waking up at 6 am the morning of a test and studying, putting minimal effort during the week and when I did put a LOT of effort I would just try to get it done and forget to post or whatever.

ANYWAY. I’m back. Done with my junior year. I have a very busy summer with school relating things ahead of me and will be posting more.

I got SOOO many messages about France and french. Tbh, I let the idea of living in France settle down. I’ll still apply there, I’m just not so eager. Don’t know why, everything college related is VERY confusing right now, but I’m allowing it to be confusing and undecided. Also I TOOK THE DELF B2. I got so many texts wishing me good luck, THANK YOU! I think it went well, I (as mentioned before) did not take much time to study actively in advance. I spent the weekend before my test just half ass going through the book, but I have been listening and thinking so much in french (I even dated a french guy for a little bit) so I was passively learning a lot. I will get my results next month, alognside the two AP tests I took. I will be updating more on that since many people are curious.

Thank you so much for the messages and wishes of good luck, life has been insane and my relationship with school has been a roller coaster. But I’m getting back on track and back in here and I can’t wait to share more!
