Let’s Go to Malaysia, Yeah?
Tumblr media
Characters: Nanami Kento, Fem!Reader
Word count: 2.7k
Genre: Smut, Fluff, Angst
Content Warnings: It’s smut so MDNI!! Specifically: Slight voyeurism (there’s no people around but you’re both outside), Oral (reader receiving), PiV, Creampie, Use of the word “wife” a lot, angst at the end because I don’t believe in happiness
A/N: I thought about this on a random Thursday night at 1 AM and couldn’t rest until I wrote it into existence.
Synopsis: You and your husband Kento Nanami go on a beach trip in Malaysia and have some fun in more ways than one~
MINORS ONCE AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT.
The sound of chirping birds and ocean waves wake you up from your slumber. Still groggy, you instinctively reach for Nanami, but the bed comes out empty. Rubbing your eyes, your vision lands on the open windows, the sun slightly blinding you from the view. Though it would be nearly impossible to miss completely, the bright yellow sand standing in contrast to the deep blue ocean was a sight to see. Turns out, renting a small house by the beach in Malaysia was an amazing idea, something your husband came up with. Speaking of…where was he?
Hearing some commotion from outside the bedroom, you put on your robe and leave to follow the source. There, you find your beautiful husband making breakfast in the kitchen. Shirtless, the morning sun reflects off his back as he cuts up fruit. God he looked good, you thought.
Moving quietly, you swiftly hugged him from behind. He jumps up a little in shock before going “Good morning, darling”.
You giggle at his reaction and simply go “Hi Kento...” and leave small kisses on his back as he continues cutting fruit. Eventually, he drops the knife and turns around, looking you straight in the eyes.
“…yes?” You question jokingly. He doesn’t say anything, only giving you a small kiss on your lips. You had other plans though, and grabbed a hold at the back of his neck, deepening the kiss. Nanami groans in response, but doesn’t protest, lifting you up and placing you on top of the counter. As he slowly grinds himself between your legs, you joke “it’s so early…”. Your husband simply laughs and says “it’s never too early for my wife…”. As your tongues continue to intertwine, you begin to remove his pants when—
Ding
The toaster. The sound snaps Nanami out of what he was doing and he begins to remember his original plans for the kitchen. Lifting you up again, this time to help bring you back down to the floor, he tells you “Let’s not waste breakfast” with a laugh.
Somewhat disappointed, you comply anyway as you were a little hungry and Nanami did work hard to prepare it for you two. Sitting on the table, Nanami puts down a plate of toast and syrup with a side of fruit. You weren’t sure if it was because it was made by someone you loved, but it was possibly the most delicious meal you ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, with the syrup acting in perfect juxtaposition to the crunchy exterior of the toast. The fruit was no joke either, perfectly cut into symmetrical shapes and acting as the perfect side to your meal. God, it was amazing. Your husband was amazing.
“…Baby are you listening?” Nanami’s voice snaps you out of your daydreams. “Huh…?” You ask, staring at him blankly. Shaking your head, you go “Oh… I’m sorry honey haha I was too focused on this amazing breakfast”, your voice slightly muffled from the food in your mouth. Your husband just laughs and goes “I was just asking if you wanted me to bring anything while we go on our walk”.
“Oh! Let’s bring the chairs so we can watch the ocean for a bit” you say, excited. Nanami nods and you two continue making small talk over breakfast regarding your plans for the day, enjoying each other’s presence along with the beach view through the large window in the living room.
“Man, that was a good breakfast! Thank you so much for that… you’re getting really good at making bread by the way” you say as the both of you walk around the beach. “Thank you, anything for my wife” Nanami chuckles, of course. Your husband always told you he’d give you the world, and you believe him. Why wouldn’t you? He shows you every day, and this day was certainly no exception.
The sand is hot against your feet as you and your partner find a place to set your chairs. Looking around, you point to an empty spot close to the ocean “what about there?” you ask. Nanami just nods and takes your hand to walk you both to the spot. You set both your chairs down as Nanami puts up the umbrella for both of you. He also offers to help you put on your sunscreen.
“Sure! Let me just go get it” you respond.
It started out innocent enough. You feel the slight cool of the sunscreen as your husband rubs the cream onto your skin. He started with your arms, being oh so diligent to make sure your skin was fully protected. He started again with your back, once again not missing a single spot. Once he got to your shoulders, however… that was a different story. Something about it felt more…sensual, and both of you felt the change in mood.
While rubbing the sunscreen on your shoulders, Nanami decided to begin kissing your neck. The warm kisses sent a cold shiver down your spine and you jumped up. “H-h-hey! What are you doing?” you ask, shocked. Your dutiful husband simply hums into your neck and continues kissing your most sensitive spots. Once the initial shock smoothed over, you got more into it. Leaning into his soft kisses and letting out soft moans as he continuously abused your neck. Not too much though, you were in public after all.
Well…kind of. See, one of the main draws of picking this specific spot to go to was because of how far it was from the public area. There was  likely no people for miles, making it the perfect spot for you and your introverted lover to do all kinds of fun (in lots of different ways, of course). Still, anyone could theoretically walk to this side of the beach with no issue, but why would they? There was clearly nothing to see here.
Except I guess…a man in between his wife’s legs eating her out like she’s his last meal. “K-Kento! We’re in public!” you yelp out in between (now much louder) moans. “Shhh… it’s okay” he shushes, the vibrations of which are felt on your pussy, causing you to moan louder. “N-ngh, God— don’t stop!” you moan out, which simply makes your lover laugh. Pulling away, with only a string of his saliva working to connect the two of you, he goes “Careful honey, we are in public, remember?”. Frustrated, you grab him by his hair and lightly push him back between your legs. You were careful not to actually hurt him, of course, and you thankfully didn’t receive any complaints from him, as he simply goes back to looking up at you while sucking on your clit, at the corner of your eye, you can see the sunscreen, now carelessly tossed to the side.
Right. This started with sunscreen. What happened with that?
Right… after finishing lathering your shoulders he began getting to work on your legs. You were still lightheaded from having his lips on your neck, so you didn’t pay much attention while he continued rubbing the lotion on you. At one point though, he suddenly stopped. Confused, you’re about to ask him what’s wrong when he hushes you with a soft kiss. You comply, and are so zoned out that you don’t even notice Nanami beginning to remove the bottom half of the bathing suit you put on. “…May I?” he asks for your permission with his soft voice. Unable to deny him in the state you’re in, you nod. From there, he began kissing down your body. From your shoulders, to your breasts, to your stomach until finally, he made it there.
Which leads you back to the predicament you’re in now: where you’re a moaning mess as your husband makes out with your pussy. Like always, Nanami is diligent. Making sure to catch all your sweet spots and to pay extra mind to your clit. He worked slowly, but don’t worry, he was definitely getting the job done. “P-p-please…I’m close, I’m so close please Kento please”, you spit out through incoherent moans. Nanami doesn’t say anything, he simply flattens his tongue against your clit as your orgasm continues to build up. When you finally get there after a few seconds of riding Nanami’s tongue, you’re only able to see white for a while. Breathing heavily, your legs begin to tremble as you zone out, staring wide-eyed into space.
Nanami is seemingly unfazed, however, as he simply pulls your swimsuit back up and gives you a chaste kiss on the lips, allowing you to taste a bit of yourself. He holds your hand tight and says “Let’s rest for a bit and then let’s go swim, ok?” He smiles innocently, as if he didn’t just give you the best orgasm of your life just a minute before. Slowly snapping back into reality, you kiss your husband’s hand and go “o-ok…”, still out of breath from what just occurred. Nanami let you take your time to cool down, showering you in affirmations of how beautiful you were and how he was sorry but  simply couldn’t resist you.
Eventually, you’re able to calm down enough to make your way to the ocean. Your legs still wobbly, you’re the perfect target for splashing. The cold water hitting your skin as your lover cruelly splashes water on you “Kentoooo…stop it! Haha!” You laugh as you splash him back, getting his hair wet. Getting serious for a second, he simply mutters “You’ll pay for that, darling”, before swiftly picking you up and spinning you around. Letting out a goofy scream, you go “Baby wait— you’re gonna drop me! Haha!”. To your surprise, he actually does drop you in the water. You were fine with this, as this gave you leverage to grab onto his leg and pull him down with you. Letting out a yelp, he lets out a hearty laugh as he falls into the water with a splash. “I win! Jerk!” you say in between laughs.
Though, he  simply goes quiet and looks deep in your eyes. He lightly grabs your face and gives you a deep kiss. Pulling away, he whispers a soft “I love you”. Flushed, you’re about to say you love him back when you feel another cold splash against your face right and your husband’s laughter “…but you’re so cute when you’re mad!” He exclaims, standing up. “Hey! No fair! We were supposed to have a sweet moment!” You yell out as you climb up his back, forcing him to give you a piggyback ride. One he complies to, of course.
After having your fun, the both of you dry yourselves off outside before going back to your small vacation home. “I’m going to catch up on some reading darling, there’s some books I really need to finish”, Nanami tells you as he starts to enter the room. “Alright, I’m just gonna take a shower and then I’ll join you” you respond. He nods as he closes the door behind him. You had other plans, of course.
You were going to join him.
Though…it wasn’t going to be for reading. You still had to pay him back for his stunt at the beach, after all…
After your short shower, you enter the shared bedroom of you and Nanami. There was nothing out of the ordinary, except for the fact that you were wearing nothing but a towel.
“Darling…” your husband looks up, taking off his glasses. “Aren’t you going to put some clothes on?” He asks, but you could feel it in his voice, he was getting riled up. You got him right where you wanted him.
“Hmmm…I don’t know darling,” you say, teasing him “I think I like things exactly like this”, as you finish your sentence, you drop your towel, showing off your naked body to Nanami. You climb on top of him and sit on his lap. He was hard. Why wouldn’t he be? His gorgeous wife was sitting naked on top of him. He simply smiled as you brought your face closer to his, your lips nearly touching. “While I appreciate the sentiment darling…” Nanami grabs your wrists as he flips you over on the bed “…it seems you forgot who’s in charge here”. He now stood on top of you, his large frame hovering above you as he brought himself closer to kiss you. Finally, your lips touch and the both of you get to work removing all of Nanami’s pesky clothes. You were thankfully already taken care of, so things were much easier.
Finally fully naked, Nanami lines himself up against you “I’m sorry baby…” he starts, “I know we usually do foreplay first but I need to be inside of you right now”. His dick is in perfect alignment with your pussy, where even through the smallest movement by you, you could have him inside. You’re just as desperate for him as he is for you, so you just nod and go “it’s okay… I’m already wet enough for you, see?” you say as you dip your fingers into your pussy before pulling out, showing Nanami proof of your arousal. He simply exhales a sigh of relief as he begins to enter you. Starting slowly, as to not hurt you, he starts with shallow thrusts until he’s all the way in.
Finally inside, he picks up the pace, looking you in the eyes the whole time. “God— you’re gorgeous you know?” he says in between thrusts, though you’re too fucked out on his cock to be able to pay much attention. You simply moan as you’re forced to take his dick over and over again. This makes him stop, and he looks at you. Before you can ask him why, he goes “Say it, darling”. “Say wha—“ you are cut off, “Say you’re gorgeous”.
“That—that’s so embarrassing Kento…” you reply. It did make you feel a bit shy to say affirmations with a dick inside of you, but Nanami didn’t budge, he simply kept looking at you until you said the words. “Okay…I’m gorgeous, the only one for you” you smile, it did feel good to say, but Nanami’s thick cock thrusting in and out of you right after you said it probably helped in that regard.
You began to feel the pit in your stomach grow, and you knew exactly what it meant “K…Kento… I’m gonna cum…” you moan out. Nanami softly kisses your wrists in response and says “yeah…me too darling, let’s finish together, yeah?”.
You both do just that, moans and grunts filling the room as you both reach your high. “I love you baby… I love you so much” Nanami moans out as he kisses you through your orgasms.
After you’ve both calmed down, Nanami pulls out and lays next to you. “Come here, darling~” he coos, pulling you towards him for cuddles. “I meant it you know, when I said you were gorgeous…you should say it to yourself more often” he whispers in your ear. You simply smile and give him a kiss on the cheek “Yeah…I’ll make sure to try. I love you baby…” your eyes meet his, and it’s almost like you can see the whole world through only his eyes. He gives you a deep kiss and as he caresses you to sleep he goes “I love you too, my beautiful wife”.
You groggily wake up to the walls of your room, a very different sight to the vacation home you were just in. It’s dark, with no windows open, and if you opened them, you likely wouldn’t be greeted to the soft waves of the ocean. What just happened? You think. Was I dreaming?
You instinctively reach for your husband’s side of the bed. It’s empty, of course. Still groggy and with possibly the worst headache of your life, you get up and make your way to the kitchen.
You make your own breakfast. A sad combination of stale cereal and milk.
It’s the reality of course, but one you’re still unable to accept. In this reality, there is no beach view, there is no cold ocean to splash in, there are no birds to wake you up, and most importantly there is no Nanami.
What is there though…are two tickets to Malaysia. Looking at them, the dates stand there bold, almost as if to mock you… spelling out the day you’ll forever hate the most.
NOV. 1ST, 2018
Yeah…that’s right.
You two were never able to make it to that trip, were you?

We’re Not Mothers!
Tumblr media
Part of the “We’re Not Heroes!” Collection
Characters: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Masamichi Yaga, [+ Another character but who is a surprise!]
Word Count: 2.3k
Genre: Fluff, Mild Angst
Content Warnings: Swearing, Hospital
A/N: Happy Mothers Day, everyone! I hope you enjoy this special addition to “We’re Not Heroes” and I hope it serves as a reminder to appreciate those who played a role in caring for us, whether they be our mothers or another figure in our lives ❤️
Synopsis: The first-years have a mission directly from their Principal! Their orders are as follows: give as many flowers to as many mothers as they can throughout Tokyo before the sun goes down. Sounds easy enough, right? Unfortunately for the first-years though, this proves to be a much more difficult mission than it seems!
“Wow! Principal Yaga wants to meet us! I wonder what for?” Itadori asks as he walks with his two friends to the office.
“I just hope it isn’t for something like cleaning up one of Gojo-sensei’s messes again, that was such a bother last time” Kugisaki answers.
The three sorcerers make their way to Yaga’s office. Sliding the door open, they’re greeted to what looks to be hundreds of flower bouquets throughout the room, with their principal in the middle of it all. “Holy shit!” Kugisaki yells out, catching the principal’s attention “Oh, hey kids”, Yaga turns around to face them. Along with him, there are various cursed corpses walking around carrying the flowers into a large cart.
“What’s all this for?” Itadori asks Yaga as a cursed corpse seemingly offers Itadori a flower. Just as he’s about to accept the offer, the mischievous cursed corpse punches him in the face instead. “Ow!” Itadori yells out, falling backward as the moving stuffed animal laughs at its victory. Man these things really are evil, the boy thinks.
“I need you three to hand out these flowers to as many mothers you can find throughout Tokyo” Yaga explains to the children.
“You know, homewrecking isn’t a good trait Principal Yaga” Kugisaki jokes, causing the usually stoic Fushiguro to chuckle.
“It’s not like that and you know it!” Yaga clears his throat, “I usually have Panda do this, but he’s on a mission with the other second-years today so I’m counting on you three”.
“Uh… yeah… but again, why are we giving random moms flowers today?” Kugisaki asks, placing her hands on her hips.
As Yaga is about to respond, Fushiguro cuts him off “It’s one of those things that help to lower cursed energy in the long run,” he continues “If we’re able to bring up the spirits of a large amount of people, even with small random acts of kindness like this one, we can help to lower the likelihood of cursed energy leaking in the long run”.
“Yes, that’s correct Fushiguro” their Principal nods in approval.
“Oh I get it!” Itadori exclaims, now off the floor. “Uh… but why today all of a sudden? And why only mothers?” he scratches his head in confusion.
“Itadori…” the older sorcerer pauses, trying to choose his words carefully, “Don’t you know what day it is?”.
Itadori just gives him a blank stare, looking to his friends for answers, but when he gets nothing, he just goes “Uh…no?”.
“It’s Mother’s Day, Idatori,” Megumi says abruptly, “Today is Mothers Day”.
Itadori stands confused until the lightbulb finally goes off in his head “Oh!” he thinks aloud. “Sorry haha… I don’t really celebrate the day, I never met my mom so I never had to think much about it” Itadori laughs awkwardly when Kugisaki joins in “Dude! I haven’t met my mom either!”. When she says this, Itadori’s eyes seem to glow in amazement, “No way! That’s so cool!” the two high-five.
Those two bond over the weirdest things Fushiguro groans in disappointment at his friends.
Clearing his throat again, Yaga yells out “KIDS!”. This brings all of their attention back to the man, “Listen up, I don’t want to see any of you back here until this cart is completely empty, understand?!”.
“Yes, sir!” they respond in unison.
“Well then what are you waiting for!? The clock is ticking!” he yells as cursed corpses push the trio out of the room with the cart of flowers.
“Man, why does every Jujutsu Sorcerer have to be such a weirdo?” Nobara asks, though the question was mostly rhetorical.
They decided to go to the mall. The crowds of people walking around in groups made it the best place to go.
“Yeah…” Itadori responds, “First it was that one bakery mission with Nanamin, and now this” he sighs, “It feels like we haven’t had a normal mission in such a long time”. The two other sorcerers nod and the three simply stand together awkwardly in front of the comically large cart of flowers.
“So… how are we supposed to know who the moms are?” Kugisaki asks.
“It should be pretty obvious…since it’s Mother’s Day most moms would probably be out with their kids” Fushiguro responds, looking around to scout for any families that might be walking around.
“Yeah!” Itadori perks up, “Like those two!” he points toward a young woman with a child sitting together at a bench.
Flower in hand, the young boy walks toward the pair. “You have the cutest kid, miss!” bringing his hand out toward her. Flower in hand, he says in the cheeriest tone, “Happy Mother’s Day!”.
What Itadori expected was for the woman to take the flower and say a simple “thank you”. Hell, if the woman simply rejected the offer, Itadori would have felt a little dejected, but he wouldn’t have minded. Any of those two options were better than what actually happened.
The woman stood there wide-eyed looking at Itadori as if she saw a ghost. Stupidly, Itadori continues gesturing the flower toward her, awkwardly holding it in place and trying to force a smile.
Staring at Itadori, the kid next to the woman begins to speak. “This is my sister”, the child stares blankly at Itadori, “Also she’s sixteen”.
Itadori just stares at the kid, then at the woman (who he now knows is only a year older than him), and a deep red blush forms on his face. “I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to imply anything!” he attempts to stutter out an apology, but it’s too late. The two awkwardly scurry away from Itadori as he yells out “I’m so sorry again! You don’t look old for your age I swear!”.
The young lady looks more offended at that comment, and the two walk even faster to get away.
There were many witnesses to the embarrassing event, including Itadori’s two accomplices. “So maybe it won’t be so obvious”, Fushiguro tells Kugisaki as Itadori slowly slumps over to them in embarrassment*.
“Whatever, man!” Kugisaki grabs a handful of flowers from the cart, “We need to get all these flowers out of this cart or we’ll end up as punching bags for Yaga’s cursed corpses!”. Running away with the flowers in hand, she yells out “The person that hands out a flower last is a wet rag!” as she runs away to hand out flowers.
“Wait, Kugisaki! You’re dropping a bunch!” Itadori yells out, but she doesn’t hear him over the sounds of her handing (more like forcing) flowers into different people’s hands.
“Man, what the heck” Itadori sighs.
“She’s right, we should get to work before the sun goes down and everyone leaves” Fushiguro grabs some flowers as well, “You can take the cart”.
“Wait, I don’t want the cart! This thing’s heavy!” Itadori yells, but Fushiguro simply ignores him. “Fushiguro!” he yells again, “Fushiguro!”.
Left alone, Itadori mumbles “Jerks” under his breath and goes to push the cart to different parts of the mall. Handing out the flowers actually proved to get easier over time, and many people showed their gratitude through bright smiles or simple “thank you’s”. Itadori still had some embarrassing moments where someone turned out to not be a mom, but it got easier to guess over time through context clues.
A few hours later though, Itadori hears some commotion around the area, “I’m married!” he hears a woman yell out in the distance. Curious, his attention darts to where the drama is, and he’s shocked to find that the woman was actually scolding Fushiguro. “So… do you still want the flowers or…?” he asks the woman, genuinely confused about what she wanted. “Wha– how dare you! After I told you I was married… also you’re too young to be giving flowers away to different wome–”
“Sorry about my friend! We care very much about your marriage and respect it haha!” Itadori yells out as he drags his friend away.
Thanks to Itadori’s superhuman speed, the two are able to quickly run away from the woman and are no longer able to see her in their vision. Panting, Itadori tells Fushiguro next to him, “Man… I really don’t think Yaga considered the fact that a Panda giving away flowers to a bunch of women is way different than three random kids”.
“Yeah…” Fushiguro responds, also out of breath.
“Thinking about it though… how was Panda able to just walk around in public looking like…him” Itadori asks his friend. “Most people probably assumed he was a guy in a Panda costume… but I feel like that’s also weird”. The two friends share a laugh at the absurdity of a walking panda giving away flowers to random women throughout Tokyo.
Itadori and Fushiguro finish up giving away different flowers together and eventually meet back up with Kugisaki. Out of breath, she falls to her knees in front of them before saying “I’m not doing this ever again”. In response, Fushiguro just scoffs and says “Dude, no one told you to rush in giving them away”. “Shut up!” she yells out, and pointing at him she exclaims “I’m not gonna be a wet rag like you two!”.
She’s technically right, as the group now only had two bouquets left, one from Itadori and one from Fushiguro. It was getting late and most of the stores were closing, so there was no longer as many people. Looking around at who to give his to, Itadori’s eyes land on an old woman sitting at a bench. Flowers in hand, Itadori walks over to the elderly woman before he stops and says, “Hi! I’m not sure if you have kids but…” he hands out the flowers to her “Happy Mother’s Day!” he gives her a sweet smile.
The woman simply looks at Itadori and tells him “Why thank you young man! We need more people like you in this world” before taking the flowers. Itadori laughs and yells out “Thanks!” as he walks back to his friends. He turns to Kugisaki, telling her “You know Kugisaki, I’m kind of glad we did this. I know there were some awkward moments, but I think we made a lot of people happy!”. Crossing her arms and smiling, Kugisaki just goes “Yeah yeah whatever, let’s just hand out this last bouquet and go home”.
However, Fushiguro simply looks down and tells them “No…I’ll hand this one out by myself, you guys can go home”.
“Huh? Are you sure? I was joking about the wet rag thing” Kugisaki jokes. Though, Fushiguro simply responds “Yeah… I’m sure, you guys go on ahead, I’ll be back soon” he begins to turn away, “See you guys”.
Itadori and Kugisaki simply look at each other in confusion before Itadori goes “Oh… okay Fushiguro! See you later!” They wave goodbye as they walk in the opposite direction toward their school “I wonder where he’s going” Kugisaki tells Itadori.
…
“Megumi, I'm home!” an eight-year-old Tsumiki Fushiguro yells out to her brother, but she’s simply greeted to an empty house. Regardless, she continues talking anyways, “Thanks to all that money Mr. Gojo gave us, I’m finally able to buy all these different ingredients for new recipes! He’s a little weird but he’s a nice guy” going on her tippy-toes, she places the groceries at the top of the counter.
“Megumi?” she calls out again. Finally, the black-haired boy shows himself, he’s across the hallway. Tsumiki simply stood confused, her brother was quiet, but he wasn’t usually this quiet, “Is there something wrong?”.
In response, the young boy simply takes tiny steps toward her before facing her. He’s still shorter than her at this point, but not by much. Once facing each other, he opens up his hands to show her a tiny piece of chocolate wrapped in foil. “Here…my teacher told us to give it to our moms for Mother’s Day but…” he trails off, the rest didn’t need to be said. So, he just goes “W-whatever, you just have it”. He forces the piece of chocolate in her hands before turning around to try to run away, however Tsumiki is able to catch him in a hug.
Warm tears fall on the tiny Megumi’s shoulder as his sister holds him tight “Hey! What are you crying for?!” he yells out. “I don’t know…” Tsumiki responds. “J-Just…thank you, thank you” words of gratitude are incoherently uttered by Tsumiki as she cries on her little brother’s shoulder. It was such a small gesture from the boy, but to Tsumiki, it meant the world. Megumi simply groans and goes “Hey…don’t be weird about it!” before lightly pushing her away. “Right… right” she goes, wiping her tears away “‘m sorry, haha, I don’t know what came over me!”. The boy in front of her just rolls his eyes and mumbles a “whatever” before walking away to his room.
…
Megumi Fushiguro walks into the hospital room where his sister lay. “Hey Tsumiki” he greets, though there is no response. It was okay though, that was to be expected.
Closing the door, the black-haired boy still carried the bouquet in his hand, “Here… I have some flowers from a mission, I thought you should have ‘em”. He places the flowers on the side table and takes a look at his sister. She simply lays there, still in her coma, not responsive to anything her brother had to say.
“Yeah… well anyways I got something for you,”  Megumi brings a chair next to the bed and pulls out a large bag of chocolates “It’s your favorite”.
Still, no response. It wasn’t like he was expecting one, his logical mind was always the dominant one, after all. Yet… he stupidly still held out hope that today might be the day she finally opened her eyes. Though, this was a hope he held on to every day that he visited her.
Opening the bag, he takes out a piece of chocolate covered in foil. Then, he carefully took Tsumiki’s hand in his and placed the tiny piece into her hand before closing it. Tears in his eyes and his hand still intertwined with hers, he chokes out the words he should have said years before, “Happy Mother’s Day, Tsumiki”.

*While this is happening, I imagine Itadori being able to hear Sukuna laughing at him inside his domain!

We're Not Idols!
Tumblr media
Part of the “We’re Not Heroes!” Collection.
Characters: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Aoi Todo, Takada, Gojo Satoru
Word Count: 2.7k
Genre: Fluff!
Content Warnings: Swearing, Mild violence, Creepy man
Synopsis: The first-years are on a mission! This time, they're in Kyoto! The job? To eradicate low-grade cursed spirits all throughout the Japanese Idol Takada's concert. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when a curse user with an ominous technique comes to disrupt the event.
“STUDENTS!” Gojo extends out his hands to greet his class of…three. “I have great news for all of you!”.
“That can’t be good,” Kugisaki sighs in response. “Yeah no offense Gojo-Sensei but the 2nd years told us the last time you told them you had good news you let in a guy who had a curse inside of him…” Itadori mindlessly comments before realizing, “Hey wait a minute, that guy is kind of like me–”.
“Well it’s actually good news this time!” Gojo plays drums on the table before announcing “Students…for your next mission, you are going to KYOTO!”.
Crickets.
“...Where’s the good news?” Fushiguro gives Gojo a blank stare, causing the special-grade sorcerer to be taken-aback. “Okay, YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO AN IDOL CONCERT!” He waves around his hands to try to get the students more excited, but they just stare at him with blank expressions. Man… what a tough crowd. Though, every crowd was tough when you were Gojo Satoru.
“...Again, where’s the good news?” Fushiguro looks at him upset.
“Wha– I tried really hard to get a mission you guys would enjoy” Gojo sulks in a corner. “It’s okay Gojo-Sensei! It’s just… I don’t think any of us are really the concert type haha. Except…maybe Kugisaki?” Itadori looks at his brown haired friend.
“Nah, too loud for me. I prefer to just listen to music on my phone. Plus, why would we need to go to an idol concert for a mission anyways?”.
“Oh… right!” Gojo perks up. “Question students! Where do cursed spirits arise the most!”
“Oh! Oh!” Itadori raises his hand, hoping for Gojo to pick him. “Megumi! You answer!”. “Aw…” Itadori pouts, he wasn’t even raising his hand Itadori thinks to himself.
“Hm? In places with high population density” Fushiguro answers. “Ding! Ding! Ding!” Gojo responds. “You are correct!”
“Now, since cursed spirits arise the most in places with high population density, there are certain places where cursed spirits appear most often. One of these places is concerts. If cursed spirits stay in these crowds unchecked, it can lead to an increase of negative energy from the crowd, causing things to escalate further and further”.
The trio nods, showing their understanding, so Gojo continues.
“To counter this, Jujutsu Sorcerers are often put out on posts to watch over these concerts. One of these concerts is by the Japanese Idol Takada, who you guys will be seeing in Kyoto!”
“Oh I see… that makes sense I guess” Itadori adds. “Of course it makes sense, concerts are always sweaty and gross” Kugisaki shivers, causing Itadori to chuckle.
“Anyways, good luck you guys! Make sure to pack a bag for a few days,” Gojo adds, “Oh, by the way. One of the Kyoto students is going to join you. I didn’t plan it but when I brought it up he insisted”.
“Oh! Who?” Yuji asks.
“BROTHER!” Todo greets the trio (well…one of the trio) at the train station. “Oh God” Yuji cries out as Todo traps him in a giant hug, an act that is photographed by a laughing Kugisaki.
“Man… I actually haven’t been to Kyoto before” Kugisaki comments. “Really? Now that you say it, I actually haven’t been here in a while either” Fushiguro responds. The two continue making small talk while their friend continues to struggle in the background “P-p-please…Todo…let…go…or I’ll…die”.
“I can’t believe it brother, you’ll be able to experience all of the glory of Takada in person with me! It’ll be a beautiful experience!” Todo exclaims. The group made it to the concert area. Though, it was still a few hours before the event, so the concert hall was more or less empty, with only a few people setting up. This was okay though, because it gave them time to plan.
“Todo will probably want to watch the concert with Itadori, so they should stay toward the front and we can stay at the back of the crowds” Fushiguro tells Kugisaki. “Should we really be encouraging him to do… whatever that is?” Kugisaki responds, looking at Todo as he continues sharing his praises about Takada to Itadori, who was desperately trying to keep up with his words. “If we don’t let him, he’ll do it anyway, so I’d rather control it” Fushiguro sighs, “If it were up to me, he wouldn’t be here at all”.
“Hey…Fushiguro” Kugisaki taps on her friend’s shoulder. “Look at that guy”. There, they see one lone man attempting to sneak through backstage, definitely looking suspicious. He seems to catch on to their staring, but in response simply gives them a deathly glare. “Rude…” Kugisaki thinks, “Should we stop him just in case?” she asks. “Nah,” Fushiguro adds, “It’s probably nothing, but if we see him at the concert we should keep an extra eye on him”.
Finally, the concert begins, the loud music is heard seemingly all throughout Kyoto as the crowd sings along to Takada. Many of the curses that spring up appear to be flyheads, so the group has no problems with exorcising them. The biggest problem seems to be the quantity due to the amount of them that constantly spring up. With this, Itadori struggles a bit more at the front as Todo is more interested in the concert compared to doing any sort of exorcising.
Seriously, Itadori thinks to himself. Did he come here just so he could get paid to watch Takada?
Meanwhile, Kugisaki and Fushiguro remain in a spot near the back and continue exorcising the low-grade spirits. Thanks to Kugisaki’s straw doll technique, exorcising them became even more efficient than it normally would have been.
Thanks to this, the duo was able to catch onto certain things they wouldn’t have otherwise.
“Fushiguro,” Kugisaki calls the dark haired sorcerer. “It’s that guy again,” she points to where backstage is, the man appears to be struggling to open the door, but was eventually able to do it. Fushiguro pauses for a moment, before saying “Things seem alright here, let’s go see what’s up with him”. With that, the two sorcerers follow the man backstage.
Walking slowly backstage, they don’t seem to see the man. With Kugisaki at the front, hammer in hand, she calls out for him. “Excuse me, sir?” she questions, when she gets no response, she goes “Look…we work for Takada and we were just wondering what you’re doing backstage”. That apparently earns her a kick from the man who decides to show himself “Kugisaki!” Fushiguro yells out, running towards her. “You– You’re Jujutsu Sorcerers right?” the man asks, holding Kugisaki down.
“How do you–” Kugisaki tries to speak when she seems to knock out, and the man that was once holding her down is now avoiding her. They can deal with that later, “Kugisaki…?” Fushiguro inches closer to her, trying not to get too close. Something is wrong, he thought, very wrong. After a few seconds, Kugisaki seems to stand up, facing Fushiguro. “...Is everything alrig–”
Within seconds, Kugisaki hits him with her hammer, causing the boy to fall backward. “Kugisaki what’s wro–” he begins to say when he feels a touch behind his back. It’s the man. “Tell me… if you two fought, would it end in five minutes?”
Outside, the concert resumes, Todo continues enjoying himself at the front, Idatori joins in as well, having eradicated the bulk of the cursed spirits.
Yet… something felt off. Itadori couldn’t put his finger on it, but he felt the need to check in on Fushiguro and Kugisaki. When texting them yielded no results, he considered trying to meet them in person.
“Hey Todo” Itadori yells out as loud as he can. When Todo doesn’t register his voice, he yells louder “TODO!”. Finally getting the man to turn around, Itadori tells him about his plan to meet his friends, to which Todo gives him a thumbs up and says “Leave it all to me, brother!”.
Yeah, right. You did no work on this mission! Itadori thought, hoping things would be okay while he left Todo.
Going to where their post is, Itadori is met with nothing but what looks like hundreds of cursed spirits. What the heck? he thought. These should have been eradicated by Fushiguro and Kugisaki. The pink-haired boy’s worry grows. What could have happened?
Turning around, Itadori finds a door to backstage slightly ajar. Aha. If they went somewhere, it was probably there. Walking backstage, Itadori calls out to his friends, where he finds them on the ground, very injured.
“Fushiguro! Kugisaki!” He runs to them and shakes them awake. In response, he’s met with groans from his friends. “Ugh… what the heck?” Kugisaki rubs her head. “What happened?”. Her vision focuses on Itadori. “Oh…you’re here” she stares at him. Fushiguro rubs a bruise on his cheek “I think that curse user did something to us…but I can’t remember what it was… weird” he comments. “Wait… curse user?” Itadori questions. “Oh… yeah, there’s a curse user here. I’m not sure what he wants, but it doesn’t seem good based on context clues” Kugisaki comments. “I see…” Itadori thinks for a moment before he decides, “I’ll call Todo, we can see what he wants to d–”.
“Another one, huh?” Itadori hears a man across from him, the curse user? “I see how it is…” the man leaps toward the group, bracing to fight back, Itadori is shocked when the man merely gives a light touch to Kugisaki and Fushiguro before jumping back. He’s fast. “Huh…?” Itadori is confused, but he feels a punch from Kugisaki, then another one from Fushiguro.
“Guys…what the heck?” He tries to dodge their hits, but with both of them it becomes a struggle.
“My cursed technique involves the ability to mind control anyone I touch for five minutes”, the man explains to Itadori as he continues to dodge his friends. “Though… now that I’ve revealed it, they’ll likely stay this way for a bit longer” the man adds.
Itadori isn’t paying much attention though, and simply continues to dodge, trying his best to fight back without actually injuring his friends. “Guys… I need you to snap out of it!” he yells to his friends, to no response. “It’s no use…they won’t stop until the time is up. Hell, I couldn’t even release it if I wanted to” the man tells Itadori. “Dude, shut up!”, Itadori grows frustrated and tries to fight the man, but the mind-controlled Fushiguro pushes him away from the curse user.
“You see, at first I was annoyed that you Jujutsu Sorcerers got in between me and my Takada but… I can use this…” the man continues to slowly walk toward Itadori as he’s backed into a corner by his friends. “You see… since my power is temporary I can’t make anyone fall in love with me. But…” the man begins to reach his hand out to touch Itadori “If I defeat the evil doers that dare destroy my love’s concert, she’ll have no choice but to fall for me!” the curse user laughs maniacally.
Crap crap crap. Itadori thinks. He has to think fast, but there’s nothing he can do. He tries to go back to convincing his friends. “Come on guys… you have to snap out of this or else we’re all screwed. Guys… Guys!”. Yet, just when the man finally makes it to Itadori, he hears a soft clap before switching places with the man.
Itadori exhales a sigh of relief, “Todo!”. He has never in his life been so happy to see that man, but Todo didn’t look happy at all. He looked pissed. His anger directed toward the curse user among them.
Slowly walking toward the man, Todo states “When my brother told me he had to leave to check on his friends, I told him sure” he adds, “But when I noticed he was gone for a while, I decided to find him to see what happened, which leads me here”.
“Now tell me…” Todo stops in front of the man. He’s terrified. He doesn’t know why, but he has the slightest feeling that he’s made a big mistake. “What was it you were going to do to Takada?”.
“I–” The man isn’t able to say much before getting punched into a wall. “Brother…” Todo walks by Itadori. “Take care of your friends, let me deal with this scum,” he explains, “From the looks of it, it seems like he doesn’t actively control them, but instead gives them set commands that they follow until the technique is broken”. The younger sorcerer nods and he goes to fight his friends. “I’m sorry about this you guys…” Itadori says before lunging toward the two mind-controlled sorcerers.
Turns out, a genuine 2 v. 1 against Kugisaki and Fushiguro is really hard, and Itadori has been punched today a little more than he usually is when he’s hanging out with them. “Come on you guys… I really need you to stop now…” he begs of them. Backing Itadori into a corner once again, both of them are about to punch at the same time. Aw shit. This is gonna hurt. Itadori thinks, bracing for impact.
Yet… it never comes.
Slowly opening his eyes, they meet his friends, looking at him with looks of confusion. Yet, his friends have the slightest feeling that it’s somehow their fault. They’re about to apologize when Itadori goes “Oh thank goodness!”.
“Man, I was really worried there guys,” Itadori laughs. “Hm…you’re not mad?” Fushiguro comments. “Huh? Why would I be mad? It wasn’t your fault…” feeling brave, Itadori decides to add “Plus, your guys’ punches are super weak!” he laughs.
“Ow! Ow!”
…That comment earned Itadori two genuine punches from the sorcerers.
“Good job Tokyo first-years!” Todo walks toward the sorcerers, dragging the now unconscious curse user behind him. As he’s walking towards them, security makes their way backstage toward the commotion. “Ah, hello men!” Todo greets the men in the least intimidating way he could, though, you can’t really look not intimidating when you’re dragging an unconscious bloody man behind you “Please take this… thing out of the concert area, and make sure he doesn’t bother anyone again” Todo smiles. The men comply, they weren’t sure what happened, but it seems like they were in no place to ask.
“Alright first-years!” Todo claps. “There’s still some time left, let’s enjoy the rest of the concert!” Todo hums as he goes to leave backstage back to his spot out at the front.
“Uh… he does know we still have to work, right?” Kugisaki comments.
“Of course not,” Itadori adds, “He hasn’t exorcised any cursed spirits since we started”. He sighs, causing his friends to chuckle.
Turns out, the concert was actually pretty fun. When they weren’t eradicating any cursed spirits, the sorcerers were actually able to enjoy themselves a little bit, even singing along to some of the songs. “You know this song, Fushiguro?” Kugisaki laughs, “Everyone knows this song, idiot! he retorts, causing her to give out an even bigger laugh.
When the concert ended, the group followed the head of security backstage where they see Takada. “Great work everyone! This concert was truly unforgettable!” She thanks the entire crew. “Ms. Takada,” the security man clears his throat, catching her attention. “This group before me helped in the apprehension of that man during the concert”.
She looks confused for a moment, before going “Oh! That guy? Thank God,” she looks at the group “He’s been walking into my wardrobe and leaving me weird letters, something about being cursed? It was so weird, but no one was able to catch him until today”. She bows “Thank you guys”.
“It was nothing really…” Itadori laughs, scratching the back of his head “Plus… Todo did most of the work, the rest of us were just there”. Todo stands taller as a response, (still nervous, he’s never been so close to Takada before!), “Well I wouldn’t say that hahaha…Nah, I would…” he states smugly, causing Kugisaki and Fushiguro to groan.
In response, Takada looks at Todo and steps forward, before giving him a peck on the cheek. “Thank you, really…” she smiles, before walking away from the group. “Enjoy the rest of your day everyone! Thank you all again!”.
“Well I’m glad we helped her out, that guy was creepy. I can’t believe I let that dude in my mind. Eugh” Kugisaki says. “Yeah… I agree” Fushiguro adds.
“Yeah… it’s great that we were able to help her! Right, Todo?” Itadori looks at his friend.
“Uh…Todo?”
“Shit! When did he faint?!”

We're Not Heroes!
Tumblr media
Synopsis: From Idol concerts to your local bakery, curses are everywhere! Thankfully, these Tokyo Jujutsu High School First-Years are here to help! Come join Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and their friends as they go on a journey to eradicate curses once and for all in this collection of loosely connected one-shots.
A/N: I made these stories because Jujutsu Kaisen deserved to be a slice of life with fantasy/superhero elements :(
I’m just joking (kind of anyways) but I made these collection of one-shots because I loved the dynamic of the trio and wanted to further explore their relationships with each other and see how they grow together both as people and sorcerers through some of their less serious missions. All of these stories should be canon compliant and if not they probably don’t diverge super far. Like I said before, all of the “chapters” are technically one-shots so you don’t need to read one to understand the other, and you don’t need to read them in their published order! Since these are also one-shots, I’ll continue updating basically indefinitely and we can see how many chapters we get to haha. As I write these stories, I imagine them all happening in between the Exchange Event and the Shibuya arc, but if you want to imagine Shibuya never happening at all that’s 100% welcome (they can never get to Shibuya if I just keep giving them missions, right???). Anyways, I hope you all enjoy these stories and if you have a request for a story either for this series or even just in general, my asks are always open!
Stories in this collection include....
We're Not Bakers!
We're Not Idols!
We're Not Mothers!
...And more to come!

We're Not Bakers!
Tumblr media
Part of the "We're Not Heroes!" collection.
Characters: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Bakery Girl, Kento Nanami, Gojo Satoru
Word Count: 3.7k
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Swearing also part-time labor haha
Synopsis: The Jujutsu High first-years are visited by first-grade sorcerer Nanami Kento for what he tells them to be “A very important mission”. Terrified of the possibilities, the young sorcerers are shocked to find themselves in front of… a bakery?
“Well kids, that’s all for your lesson with your sweet and awesome teacher Gojo!” Their teacher poses dramatically in front of the board. “Now he’s off to go on a mission as the strongest sorcerer in the world!” he exclaims, striking one last pose. When his “big announcement” doesn’t get the expected fanfare from the crowd, Gojo quietly murmurs a soft “Whaaaaat? You’re so cool and fun Gojo” mimicking the sounds of (what is meant to be, anyways) his students’ voices.
“Please just leave” Fushiguro states plainly, earning a soft pout from Gojo. “Alright alright” Gojo goes to leave the room, “But be on good behavior while I’m gone kids!”.
“No offense Gojo-Sensei but the worst behavior in this building comes from you,” Kugisaki says as she takes out her phone. Gojo just laughs and opens the door “Alright alright kids, I’ll see you guys in a few!” as he steps out.
The classroom stills as the three students hear their teacher’s footsteps grow more and more faint. When they’re no longer able to hear him, Itadori has the bravery to speak up “So… did you guys understand any of that lesson?”.
“No! I was just about to look up all the answers for the homework” Kugisaki responds, holding her phone out for Itadori to see. “No offense Kugisaki but I don’t think Google will help much for our lesson on Jujutsu History” Itadori pushes his hair back. “Wait…” Kugisaki looks up from her phone, “We were talking about Jujutsu History? I thought we were doing Math!”.
“Uh…no” Itadori chuckles “Oh… Fushiguro, did you understand any of the lesson?” Itadori seeks wisdom from his dark haired friend. “Nah… after about thirty minutes of Gojo not saying anything useful I started zoning out”.
From that, Kugisaki and Itadori slump down on their knees in defeat, unsure of how they would be able to do their homework now that the smartest person in the class just admitted to zoning out during the lesson. Statements like “He can’t do anything if we all don’t do it, right?” and “How is he even a teacher if no one understands him” are mumbled by the students throughout the classroom.
The sound of the sliding door snaps the students out of their woes, pulling their attention to who could be visiting right now. “Oh good, you’re all here” a tall, blonde, and muscular form walks into the room.
“Oh, hi Nanamin!” Itadori gets up and bows to greet the sorcerer. “I thought I told you not to call me that” Nanami comments regarding the nickname, earning an embarrassed chuckle and a soft “sorry” in response.
“Hm… what brings you here, Nanami?” Kugisaki asks. Typically, when people visit Jujutsu High, it’s usually for Gojo or other more experienced sorcerers. Very rarely are the students given much thought at the school…ironically.
“Oh, right” Nanami straightens his back “I have a very important mission for the three of you”. The three young sorcerers perk up. An important mission from Nanami? What could it possibly be?
“I’ve sent you all the address to this place in Shinjuku, I expect all of you to be there in…” the blonde sorcerer looks down at his watch “Thirty minutes”.
“Wait!” Itadori yells out as Nanami walks out the door. “Uh.. aren’t you going to tell us what the mission is about”.
“I’ll tell you once we get there, what I will say though…” Nanami pauses at the door frame before looking back at the students one last time. “Be prepared” he ominously states as he leaves the room.
“Wow! An important mission from Nanami!” Itadori turns to his friends.
“I wonder why he couldn’t go on it himself though? He doesn’t seem super busy” Kugisaki adds. “You know how he gets when it comes to doing overtime, he probably didn’t want to bother with it himself” Fushiguro responds.
Itadori begins to shiver, “Guys! He told us to be prepared! What if this mission is dangerous?” This causes Kugisaki to begin shaking too “Oh yeah… I can’t die yet! The entire mall is having a huge blowout sale next week. I can’t miss that!”
“That’s what you’re worried about when thinking about dying?” Fushiguro sighs, “Whatever guys let’s just go. We shouldn’t be late”. Fushiguro walks out first, with the two scaredy-cat sorcerers trailing behind him, scaring each other with stories on what might happen on this secret mission.
A Special-Grade curse, perhaps?
Maybe someone important got kidnapped!
The possible dangers of a mission from a Grade-1 Sorcerer such as Nanami were seemingly endless. What could it possibly be?
“Uh…Nanami,” Kugisaki asks confused, “...Why are we at a bakery?”.
The cozy aesthetic of the small bakery stands in stark contrast to the surrounding skyscrapers in the area. What odd placement for a bakery the three sorcerers thought.
Still, the bakery looked completely fine and curse-free. So it was odd that they were called over here. In fact, if Nanami wasn’t already at the area, they would have assumed he gave them the wrong address by accident.
Standing in front of the bakery like some tour-guide, Nanami finally decides to brief the sorcerers on why he called them there. “This is a small bakery, with the owner also posing as the only employee. Despite this, the bakery continues to grow in customers, this is a problem–”.
“Teacher!” Itadori raises his hand, cutting Nanami off. “Not a teacher, but what”.
“Isn’t it a good thing for a store to have a lot of customers, especially a small business?” Itadori asks.
“Right. I was getting to that. See, the bakery doesn’t have enough money to generate the revenue needed to accommodate a new employee. However, there continues to be a growing influx of customers to the point where it would be considered too much for their current workforce of one. This is called an operational bottleneck*. If left unchecked for too long, this can have disastrous effects on a business”. The sorcerer explains to the kids, for someone who wasn’t an educator, he was certainly better at explaining things than Gojo.
“I understand why he knows about how businesses work, but how does he know so much about this business?” Itadori whispers to Kugisaki. “Yeah I have no idea, it’s kind of weird” Kugisaki responds. Oh… also, Fushiguro was in the middle of them while they were having this conversation, growing increasingly frustrated at the fact that they won’t just move next to each other when they want to whisper amongst themselves.
“Nanami,” Fushiguro speaks up. “This is all interesting information and all, but what does any of this have to do with Jujutsu–”
“YOU FOOL” Nanami yells out, catching the two whispering sorcerers’ attention, not understanding what’s going on but giving Fushiguro an ooooooo in response to him being “in trouble” with the older sorcerer. “This has everything to do with Jujutsu,” Nanami exclaims, this is possibly the most passion the students have seen in the man. “Do you remember what the French did when they had no bread?” Nanami asks the black haired sorcerer, seemingly waiting for his answer “They had the revolutio–” Fushiguro begins to speak before getting cut off by Nanami “They descended into war! DO YOU WANT JAPAN TO GO TO WAR?”.
The three sorcerers just stood shell shocked, they didn’t expect any of… whatever that was from Nanami of all people. Gojo maybe, but Nanami?
“The reason I’m saying all this is…” Nanami clears his throat. “For your mission, you’re to assist this owner until closing today in everything that she needs”.
“How you decide to do that is up to you as long as it’s done” Nanami begins to leave. “Oh right, here are your checks from Jujutsu High so don’t bother writing a report for this mission. I know you typically get money after you complete the mission, but I trust your honesty. See you.”
When Nanami leaves they talk amongst each other about what they should do. Maybe they could exchange shifts? Who should go first?
They don’t bother to look at their checks until Itadori goes “Uh… guys, am I seeing correctly?”. Turning back at him, Kugisaki and Fushiguro look down at their checks, when they see in big bold letters…
ÂĽ15,000,000.00**
They pause for a moment. Were extra zeros added there on accident?  No, it couldn’t be, it was on all their checks! Kugisaki was the first to rush into the store “I’m working first, losers!”. “Wait– Hold on Kugisaki I’m going in too!” Itadori follows Kugisaki, and they practically trample over each other as they fight for the entrance.
Only Fushiguro stays in his place, confused, not by the money, but by his two comrades.
I don’t get it.
Gojo gave Tsumiki and I way more money than this growing up.
The sweet aroma of coffee and baked goods hit the group as they entered the bakery. The smell was heavenly. A beautiful mixture of the sweetest desserts combined with a savory touch of different kinds of breads. It hypnotized them.
“Welcome! How can I help you?” a voice calls out from the other side of the room. There, stands a young girl with long brown bangs, red cap, and a bright welcoming smile to go along with it. Man was she really a bakery owner? The trio thought. She looked barely older than they were. Still, they all scrambled to stand up and greet her “Hello!” Itadori starts, “Y-You ask how you can help us, but the real question is, how can we help you” he starts rambling nonsense, causing the woman at the cash register to speak a faint “...What?” in response.
“Dude. Stop” Kugisaki turns to Itadori, “You sound like a weird salesman”. “Hello. We’re high school students who want to help small businesses. We were sent here by someone named Nanami. We assume you know him.” Fushiguro bows to the woman.
“Nanami…” The young bakery girl tries to think of where she recognizes the name “Oh! Of course, one of our regulars! He never told me about this though…”
He didn’t even ask before making us come?! The students thought.
“Though I guess I could use some help since you kids came all this way to volunteer” the woman puts a hand to her chin. “Here, I’m behind on taking inventory so if you kids could sit by the front while I finish up, that would be great!”.
The students look at each other for a second before saying “Sure!” and giving a big nod of approval to the woman.
She goes to the back to start her work. “You guys have no idea what great help this is! I’m so grateful! I’ll be back here if you kids need anything” she gives a little wave goodbye before leaving to the back room.
Now here they stand, alone.
“Fushiguro! You’re mopping wrong!” Itadori yells at his friend. After a few minutes had passed, they decided to give Fushiguro the role of cleaning, which they quickly learned was a big mistake. The black haired sorcerer unfortunately didn’t realize that there was such a thing as using too much soap when mopping, leading to a very slippery mess of liquid throughout much of the bakery. Thankfully (or not, depending on your perspective), Fushiguro also didn’t realize that you had to mop the whole floor and not just a small section.
“Jeez haven’t you ever used a mop before Fushiguro?” Kugisaki observes her friend’s failures as she sits on the counter. In response, Fushiguro just gives her a blank “No”.
“Kugisaki, you’re not even doing anything!” Itadori retorts as he stands next to her by the counter. “Oh yeah, and what exactly are you doing?” Kugisaki yells back.
“I’m trying to figure out how this cash register works” he genuinely responds. “There’s just too many buttons and I don’t know which is whi–”
CHING
The register box opens unexpectedly causing Itadori to fall backward in shock. To make things worse, Kugisaki begins to hysterically laugh at him. “BAHAHAHAHA Oh man! You looked so stupid! I should have taken a photo!” Both Kugisaki and Itadori have tears in their eyes… though, for very different reasons.
Hearing the commotion, the young bakery girl rushes to the front to see what happened. “Oh no! Are you okay?” she asks as she helps Itadori off the floor. “Physically or emotionally?” he asks, staring daggers at Kugisaki, leading to her sticking her tongue out mockingly in response, causing the bakery owner to let out a giggle.
“Say… I should probably ask, why did you decide to own a bakery?” Itadori questions the woman. “Oh! Well… my dad owned a bakery so that inspired me a lot” she thought, “When he passed he left the bakery to me to do as I wished, I wanted to focus more on savory goods so I sold the business and moved here where they would likely sell better” she answered. “Woah… You’re so cool!” Itadori had stars in his eyes while talking to the woman. “Haha… I’m glad you think so” she laughs in response.
Ring. Ring.
A soft bell rings as a customer enters the bakery. “Welcome!” the four workers say at the same time. The customer orders a dozen cupcakes. As Itadori is being taught how to use the register correctly by his red-capped “boss”, Kugisaki takes it upon herself to perfectly pack the cupcakes in a box to give to the customer. The customer thanks them for their service and walks out, only followed by Fushiguro, mop still in hand in order to mop out the customer’s visible footprints from the floor.
A little too proud of themselves, Itadori confidently tells the bakery woman that she could “leave it all to them!” and to “count on us!”, causing the woman to laugh and say “of course!”.
Though, Kugisaki decides to go ahead and boldly ask the woman a question that has been bugging her mind “You know, Nanami told us about how busy you were but it’s been about an hour and there’s only been one customer”.
The woman just looks back at Kugisaki with a smile, “Well of course” she giggles.
“It’s not lunch yet.”
Ring. Ring.
Almost on command, a customer walks through the door. Now seemingly well prepped, the trio is ready for whatever comes their way,
Ring. Ring.
When another customer walks in. Okay… that’s alright, what’s two customers?
Ring. Ring.
Then another.
Ring. Ring.
And another.
Ring. Ring.
Until eventually, the line has reached way past the bakery entrance.
It’s hilarious, really. Three sorcerers, people who are trained to battle the most evil beings on planet Earth, have now descended into chaos working regular customer service jobs. At the front, you’ll find Yuji Itadori, who after just getting used to working the register, is now constantly taking people’s orders in a seemingly endless loop. Next to him is Nobara Kugisaki, packing boxes and boxes of people’s orders and handing it to them, no longer interested in putting any care into how well they’re packed. “Jesus Itadori slow down on the orders!” she yells, out of breath. “Does it look like I have a choice?!” he yells back in tears. Finally, running all around the bakery is Megumi Fushiguro, who can’t possibly shake away the need to clean every soiled surface. Every spill of coffee, every fallen cupcake, he needs to clean it to stay sane. Yet at the same time he’s also so tired. “Don’t lick the glass you weirdo!” he yells out to some child licking the display case.
To make matters worse, the customers don’t seem to have a lot of patience. Heaps of people going “Hey, where’s my order” and “What do you mean you guys don’t have any more of this?” are sprinkled all throughout the store. At one point, one man yells out, “I’ve waited over ten minutes for my food and finally got it, only for you guys to get my order wrong!?”. He’s taking his anger out on Kugisaki, but she’s not having it. “Hey man, I just pack the orders. ITADORI! Did you get this guy’s order wrong?!” she yells out to the pink-haired boy next to her. Itadori, tears in his eyes, simply whimpers “All of the orders look the same at this point”. The man continues berating the both of them until Kugisaki goes “LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE BITCH, I HAPPEN TO BE VERY WELL ACQUAINTED WITH HAMMERS AND SOON YOU WILL BE TOO–”.
“Woah there haha! Sorry about that sir, young people am I right? Here’s the correct order, with extra cookies as an apology! You can keep the wrong order too!” Of course, the owner of the store is there to fix all of the group’s mistakes. She hands the man another box, and he grumbles as he leaves. He got his goal fulfilled, and he didn’t want to test Kugisaki’s threats.
After some hours, the line finally ends and the group collapses onto the dirty bakery floor (Fushiguro gave up on cleaning it after a while), exhausted from all their work. “That… was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Kugisaki cries out, exhausted. They aren’t able to rest for long though, when they hear it again.
Ring. Ring
“WITH THIS SACRED TREASURE I SUMMO–”
“Hey kids! You guys worked hard enough today. I have some cookies in the back. You guys should take a break and let me take care of this customer” their brown haired savior tells them.
“Oh thank you! You’re so beautiful on the inside and out, your kindness truly knows no bounds!”  Itadori yells out as Kugisaki drags him by his hood to the back room.
Now eating in the break room, the trio begins talking. “You know, if you think about it, this actually does have a lot to do with Jujutsu,” Kugisaki tells the group. “Huh? What do you mean?”  Itadori responds.
“Well… if you think about it, this is one of the only places in the area that serves food, making it the nearest place to get lunch. If this place is closed down, people will likely miss out on the short break they need to have a positive day,” Kugisaki answers.
“So if you think about it…” Kugisaki stands up atop a table. “This bakery is single handedly stopping the existence of cursed spirits!”. In awe of her answer, Itadori and Fushiguro give Kugisaki soft applause.
“Yet… despite all this, she’s doing it all alone,” Itadori adds. “That was a lot for the four of us to handle, yet she has to do it every day all by herself” he pauses. “Listen guys… there’s something I’ve been thinking about since we got here, and I want to know what you guys think…”
As the sun begins to set, the bakery finally reaches closing time and the group cleans up. The bakery lady’s hair is now disheveled and her cap is falling off. Still, she was used to this, and she was happy that she was able to get more help today.
“Um… excuse me?” Itadori stands behind her with his two friends as she cleans a window. “Oh… hi kids,” she turns around “Great job today, you have no idea how much you helped me!”.
I’m pretty sure we made things worse, the group thinks.
“Oh! Of course, but about that…” Itadori continues, when he extends out his hand to hand the woman three checks. When she takes it, her eyes widen as she looks at the amount.
“Here’s some money, we think you should have it” Itadori scratches the back of his neck. “I don’t know how much goes into managing a business, but we hope that’s enough to at least hire some people to help you out after today”.
Hands trembling, teardrops begin to fall on the checks. “Oh… this is more than enough. T-Thank you!” She jumps forward to hug the three sorcerers. Sniffling, she says “Everything here is on the house from now on, okay?”. “You’re wonderful, you’re all wonderful”. The three hug her back and they look at each other, proud that they would be able to help outside of today.
The group waves goodbye and promises that they’ll be back again soon. They walk back home in silence, still a little bit tired from what they did. “Man those cookies were good,” Kugisaki comments, breaking their silence. The two male sorcerers agree, and they continue talking about the different things they ate while at the bakery.
The trio continued talking when Fushiguro stopped, causing the other two to look at him. “What’s wrong Fushiguro?” Itadori asks. “Hey guys…” Fushiguro blushes, embarrassed.
“We never asked that lady what her name was”.
“Hey! Where have you guys been?” Gojo asks his students as they walk into the classroom to grab their stuff. “You’re already done with your mission?” Itadori asks a question in response, shocked. “Huh? Oh that, of course I am! Who do you think I am?” he laughs. “Seriously though, where were you guys?”.
“Didn’t you hear? We were on a mission” Fushiguro responds. The group assumes Gojo forgot, or wasn’t paying attention when he was told. Instead, Gojo goes “Uh… no one sent you guys on anything”.
“What are you talking about? Didn’t Nanami tell you he sent us somewhere?” Fushiguro says back, a little irritated from the long day. Gojo leans back on his chair “Hm… well he didn’t tell me about it. He didn’t give you guys reports to fill out?” he asks, causing the group to shake their heads no. “Huh… oh well! See you guys tomorrow!” Gojo gets up to leave the room, not a care in the world that the students were sent on a seemingly nonexistent mission.
The group standing there shell shocked, when Kugisaki decides to finally bring up the elephant in the room, “I don’t get it… Nanami told us that those checks were from Jujutsu High, right? But if Gojo doesn’t know about it then it couldn’t be them,” she adds, “...but if not them, who else?”.
Ring. Ring.
“Welcome! Oh, Nanami! Here’s your sandwich” the red-capped girl hands Nanami his order, the same one he’s been ordering since he discovered the place. “Yes, thank you, here’s my mone–”.
“Haven’t you paid enough?” she laughs, and Nanami looks back at her confused. “Well… I was just thinking, I know most teenagers don’t come up with ¥45,000,000 on their own” she laughs. Nanami chuckles in response, knowing he was caught, he takes the sandwich. “Well, thank you then. I always look forward to your great food so I’m always doing my best to help” he waves goodbye.
Walking around Shinjuku, Nanami can’t help but chuckle. “A very important mission, indeed”.

First, thank you for stopping by my blog! :) It means a lot for people to enjoy my writing and provide feedback so I love hearing from people and would love to have a small community around this account and my work. However, it’s really important to me for this blog to stay safe for both me and others so I have a list of boundaries below. You can also call these rules if you’d like, but they’re just set things I need to keep everyone safe and keep things fun for everyone. People who break these will be blocked. Thank you!
Please minors DO NOT FOLLOW ME. I’m okay if you read my SFW stories but please don’t follow me and especially don’t read my NSFW stuff. It makes me really uncomfortable and I will block you when I catch you. This includes ageless accounts as well.
I will not write smut on minor characters including aging them up. I am okay with writing SFW character x character fics for them but will likely not be doing character x reader.
I will not write pedophilia or incest
I’m part of many fandoms and am not tied to any specific one. However, I will not write anything on real people, so actors/actresses/celebrities/etc. are off limits.
I have the right to refuse to write about anything, even if it’s technically not listed as part of my boundaries.
If you request something and I don’t respond, please wait at least a week to request it again and try not to spam me. There might be times when I genuinely miss your request so I’m alright with people reminding me but please don’t spam every day.
Don’t be mean to me or other people. We all hopefully know basic decency but specifics include no racism/homophobia/sexism.
Reblogging on tumblr is okay + encouraged! I’m honored that you’d share my work! Reposting on other platforms especially without crediting me is not. This is my only account so far so if you see my work on other platforms that person is NOT me and please let me know.
This isn’t necessarily a boundary, but I welcome constructive criticism and encourage it! Let me know all the ways I can make my writing better.
I’ll add to these boundaries when needed as time goes on.

Hi! I’m Deedee, if you’re reading this you probably enjoyed some of my works. Below are just some things about me if you’re curious!
I’m currently a college student and without going into too many specifics I’m looking towards a career related to writing.
I started this blog because I unfortunately sort of lost my passion for the field :(
My love for writing started when I was a teenager who would read/write fanfiction and character analyses during the pandemic to pass time, so now I’m back to hopefully reclaim that love.
Turns out it works because this is the most I’ve written in a long while!
I started this blog because I want to go back to writing for the hell of it and not worrying about all the ways it may be perceived
Along with this I love talking to people about writing so I’d love to hear from you! Please talk to me in the comments, inbox, or in my asks :)
I’m currently working on really long works (completely accidental haha I’ve gone very overboard) but I’m looking for short works as well! So if you have any ideas for one-shots I’d love to hear them.
Right now this blog might seem really empty (because it is) but that’s because I only want to publish a long fic if it’s completed in order to not waste people’s time and investment but also to not put as much pressure on me to finish something I don’t want to finish.
Until then, if you have requests for any one-shots I welcome them!
I’m not fully accustomed to writing smut yet so it might feel really awkward, so any tips related to that are fully welcomed!
I’m writing mostly on Jujutsu Kaisen right now but I’m part of many fandoms so feel free to ask about any series/book/movie/etc!
