I never got this one out since I have yet to see atsv but only the gist of bit but--

In this au,Miguel did recruit Miles into the Spider Society except the whole Canon Events thing was just a theory to him and was still skeptical about it(<-will get back to this-), however he recruited Miles after Peter B.Parker told him about Miles,since Miguel in this au didn't replace his counterpart place as his-(adopted)- daughter's father....

It safe to assume that they will get along until he finds out about what happened to Miles Earth and the Itsv event happening,which leads to him having a hard time to come to terms on what he should do about this...

If their circumstances wasn't like in the atsv,Miguel would actually acknowledge Miles as a true spiderman, because Miles shows he can be one and I think the two can relate being outwardly different"Spiderman".....

There should be an AU/fic where Miguel did recruit Miles for the Spider Society- and then proceeded to make absolutely sure Miles didn't know shit about Canon Events, essentially webbing a blindfold around him until one day it might be "safe" to take it off, both in an effort to spare Miles's feelings and to keep spanners out of the works. That could make for such great character dynamics, from the big "scary" mentor that seems to have a soft spot for the new guy but is keeping something from him to the "cool" punk who tries to hint to the naive new guy that "hey, maybe you should be a little concerned about this, they're hiding something," and then the close friend/romantic interest who knows and wants his innocence (what's left of it) preserved as long as possible, even if she knows he deserves the truth. Plus the guy who mentored him and is in a WWE style match with his conscience over what they're doing to the poor kid.

It would be so cool to see that AU.
