Part 2 of my 2 vent art pieces from last month (part 1 has not yet been digitally redrawn, started with this one and the first is next haha)

This one is labeled as ‘drown’ (the first is labeled ‘suffocate’)

I really think it differs a bit from my usual coloring? On paper I tried to work more loosely in order to focus more on getting my feelings out of my system and less on whether it will look good or not. Here I tried to still work more loosely and experiment a bit with color usage, but I think thanks to not being limited to my watercolor skills on a paper, I could work more loosely yet still focus a bit on the specifics of where I wanted to experiment and how >< Plus I think the original feelings didn’t get lost when digitalizing I think

Digitalized a doodle from last year to relax ehehehe X3 

For the colors I thought why not attempt that challenge where you put down colors in a circle, turn on a gray-scale filter on screen and then color? :3 I apparently accidentally skipped the blue though so after I turned on colors again I just used it as the background kekeke XD

I kinda love this design OwO Would be fun to draw him again someday I think :0 :D (But then I’d have 4 red/orange haired OCs, holy sh*t XD I dunno if that’d be a good choice- XD)

A smol, tiny, young Kaito that no one asked for and no one will ever see cuz I have no reach whatsoever? Hell yas!! XD He originally was supposed to be like 2-3, then people guessed him at 5-8 so I decided he might be like 4-5? Choose whatever age you can see in him lol :D Intending to someday attempt to add a Shinichi to this Kaito cuz... Yes- Why not? (Maybe if I practice Heiji and Hakuba, I could even attempt them too! Old OC redraw/re-design OvO

Yo, some while ago I decided “Hey ya know what? Didn’t I have that one character that I drew once, kinda liked and decided ‘You could be an OC of mine I guess’ but never gave a name nor ever drew again? Ye right, got it right here, in this old folder! I wonder if I could somehow draw him again and make him look.... More human-head proportioned?” And somehow I changed up some stuff. Somehow they give off both male and female or no vibes at all so I am considering making them genderfluid maybe? Who knows. Still lacks a name too lol XD I dun quite like the nose/angle/perspective/whatever but oh well :”D I tried- I am not sure if my 3/4 headshots have worsened, gotten better or just stayed the same but diff artstyle, who knows? XD

Just Smile

Uhm... A short while ago (like a month I think?) I really wanted to draw something, but I had no motivation to continue something but also didn’t wanna start yet another WIP. So what did I do instead? Do a mini animation!

The idea was just some blinking practice. Ye well, somehow I suddenly wantedto add a smile after the blinking was done in 3 steps... XD So I added that as well. So far so good, somehow it was too stiff then. So I also added the slightest bit of shoulder movement. I didn’t want to add more thogh, because it was supposed to be a mini project and just for fun, as for not making me loose interest again.

After it was done, I decided to color the eyes blue-ish gray, the hair in a dark-golden brown-ish color and the shirt blue-ish. That was rather easy because hair didn’t change at all, eyes only had 4 shapes (from which 1 was closed) and shirt only had like 6 shapes as well, if not less. But I wanted to add a pupil so.... I did that. And while at it, I also added skin color! XD So that’s how a basic blinking practice idea turned into this smol mini-animation loop! X3 XD

Just..... Up until today I NEVER looked at the eyebrows. I didn’t properly check them, so I never noticed that they appear to be glitching because I just roughly moved them around without checking if it made sense.... Ooopsie XD Too bad I can’t open my art program atm because my PC is glitching as well.... XD

All hail the Sharpshooter!

A LONG while ago I posted my paper sketch of a Lance wearing feminine clothes. I apparently drew it to cope with dysphoria. The idea was based on the headcanon of a Trans!Lance (FtM) who is fond of ‘feminine’ clothes. I loved all the content of that kind which I could find online so I did create my own to deal with dysphoria.

Well, I did start to digitalize it a long time ago. I never got very far. While I finished to improve the sketch’s anatomy digitally, I never got to lineart. BUT!! When I had no idea what to draw, and then stumbled over a Lance fanart with freckles, I suddenly remembered the sketch.

And so, I redid the sketch again and this is the result:

I don’t regret at all that I colored the lineart. It kind of makes it look... even softer than it already is. The freckles are rather invisible of not zooming in on his face or body, but I like it anyways. I am most proud of this though because I never used a reference for this. Not for the original sketch, and not when I digitally redid the artwork! :D

I suffer from a state VERY close to aphantasia, meaning I can’t really imagine anything in front of my inner eye. I can’t plan art in my mind. I have to scribble on paper to get a rough idea of stuff. Most of my art is based on references OR muscle memory. So that’s also why most stuff is same pose, same body type or same expression/angle. I should really practice some more for more muscle memory XD

BUT!! This one was entirely without refs so I’m proud both of anatomy as well as clothes hehehe! X3

It’s awful, I know, but I drew this for the 6 Fanart Challenge. Someone requested Sherlock Holmes so.... This happened XD Too bad I never finished the 6FA Challenge bc I am slow af and now atm my PC is bugging, making me unable to do digital art since eternity... Ugh XD

Uhh.... As you might have noticed, I am posting old art. Reason?

I am always too scared to post regularly online. I always feel like i needa plan every post 100% and then write a whole ton and hashtag properly, yet I know that, especially on social media sites like Tumblr, that doesn’t change anything.

So Imma just post as much of my stuff as possible to get it out of my system hahaha XD

Anyways, I drew him quite a while ago, back in April. You needa know this: I sketched this in an.... A6 notebook, maybe even smaller. And I didn’t even fill the whole page.  I didn’t intend to make a full sketch out of it, I just wanted to roughly sketch to see if I udnerstand the reference picture XD

I uhh... Found out about that event called Artfight for the first time this year so.... I wanted to try it out too :0 So this was my first ever, and for this year my only, attack hehehe :3

Did this with my new watercolor pencils (got them as an Easter present from my mum) I’m still so bad at coloring.. Digital or traditional, doesn’t matter, I’m bad XD But traditionally even more pfffft XD But at least my linework got better! :>

Oh btw you can’t see well (and I didn’t do it great) but I probably have central heterochromia (or hazel eyes? Still dunno) My eyes are brownish-orangish on the inside each and grayish-bluish on the outside each XD The one thing about me I actually love lol

Tbh, I had to rush real hard to get him done in time Becaaaaaaaaause: He was part of my entry in an event that ended on the 24th-- XD And uhh.... After I had the quick version done, I was.. uhh... too lazy to redo. It’s an attempt of some Semi-Realistic art!

Keep in mind though!! I allowed myself to sketch overtop my reference picture so the anatomy wouldn’t be off. So the sketch is kinda.. Traced I guess.  Anything after the sketch is only based on the color picking tool and later my own adjustions. 

It is intended to be for another art piece so.. Yee, let’s see if I can finish it XD Here’s the sketch! Current state after the cut!! (*¯︶¯*)

I prefer the flipped version so.. I will flip the whole thing once I’m done, too lazy to flip this WIP though XD

Kaito, heel!!

Don’t even ask XD

I found out: Most dun understand in which order to ‘read’. Oooops- XD Second page is easy, ye, but.. 1st: From top left to top right, yank, then left pic and last the bottom right Hope that makes sense- XD

If ya wanna know the ‘story’ for this (made it up afterwards, it’s very.. not a normal way of writing, but eh- XD) After the cut~

Kaito and Shinichi do many things together. They have a lot of fun on their dates, honestly.

If there wasn't this one single problem.

Kaito keeps on running away.

Be it because he saw an ice cream stand.

Be it because a kid let it's baloon go.

No matter what, you name it, he does it.

It's not like Shinichi has anything against that. ist nicht so, dass Shinichi was dagegen hat. Quite the contrary, because sometimes it's actually quite fun to observe Kaito like that.

But if he what feels like 24/7 runs away from him, even one Shinichi can grow annoyed.

The solution?

A leash.

Kaito laughs. Shinichi doesn't.

Kaito realizes, Shinichi is serious about it. Uh-oh.

Not good at all.

It's super embarassing, but Shinichi doesn't care. He was already very well aware of that fact the moment he bought said white leash with it's blue-white counterpart.

Kaito is displeased.

Naturally he could very easily just slip out of the collar and make a run for it, but of course Shinichi had made sure to threaten him beforehand.

Kaito still shows very noticeably his reluctance and grouses.

Kaito stops walking.

Shinichi is not happy.

Shinichi tugs violently on the least.

Kaito did not see that coming.

Now Shinichi has an even more grumbling Kaito on his leash.

Shinichi pulls his secret ace out his sleeve:

Kaito's weakness for his pleading expression.

Critical Hit!!

Kaito's been hit!

With curiosity, surprise and shock other passers observe a young adult with messy hair together with his Almost-Twin, being tied together by the leash the other boy is holding in one of his hands.

A totally normal situation, honestly.
