link to tiktoks of the translation, but on mihoyo's CN website, they posted a little recipe for mint jelly in the shape of slimes for xiao's birthday, then posted a little story!
and basically tl;dr of mihoyo's birthday story is that traveler makes xiao these little slimes for him to eat rather than just gifting him almond food as normal. xiao is hesitant to eat them at first because he wants to collect them instead, but eats them and is like "you know, i only like almond tofu because of memories associated with it. but now i have memories associated with this so i like it too"
and im sharing this cuz like... mhy wrote this up but it's not in english and i just wanted to share it for ppl who like xiao or anyone who wanted to base a story off the concept! :D

Lantern Rite [ Baizhu ]
Summary: Where you and Baizhu are stuck at the pharmacy during the entire lantern rite, but that won't stop your from taking your boyfriend to see them on their last spectacle. Pairing: Baizhu x gn!reader Warnings: None, pure shameless fluff for my mans, male traveler also appears at the beginning, there are a few paragraphs that makes Baizhu look sus and they happened by accident lmao, also a thought but... Baizhu with a buff s/o?? That man can't lift a box on his own so he needs a big strong bae to do it for him u.u Words: 2,342
A/n: This is based off of this post from @ceciliablossoms, a true Baizhu simp intellectual and I respect that. I hope you all can enjoy this mess!
Tumblr media
THE SKIES OF LIYUE WERE WARM, soft red and calming yellow melding together into an darkening orange hue as the sun started to hide behind the mountains, a cue to tell the people to prepare to turn their lights on for another lively night at the harbor.
You glanced up to see some birds flying above you, huffing as you shifted the large wooden crate in your arms as you spotted the Bubu Pharmacy in the close distance.
"Are you sure you don't need any help? We could stay for a bit at the pharmacy before going to the others." Aether asked, a bag of cor lapis carefully hanging off one shoulder. You had been doing a commission for Baizhu to pick up some medicines to restock, as Qiqi had already gone out to pick flowers and herbs earlier and he couldn't leave the pharmacy unattended.
On the way to the harbor you encountered Aether and Paimon, who you had already seen around for the past few days doing commissions and helping the citizens. On your walk to and fro, you talked with the duo and heard their stories (and Paimon complaining about having too much work to do, with Aether then retaliating that she does nothing, to which Paimon screeched at him for).
With what little free time they had right now, they were headed to the Wangshu Inn to visit a friend and decided to accompany you to the pharmacy. You really pitied the poor boy, a festivity in which he has to do more work than one should for a holiday. But alas, you've lived in Liyue for years now, enough to know that that was how the land of contracts worked, so there was nothing much to be done there.
That said, you weren't about to put more of a workload on the blond's shoulders, so you waved off his request to help.
"No need, me and the Bubu staff can handle everything for today. Don't worry."
He eyed the heavy crate in your arms with uncertainty, you followed his gaze and sighed, hastily ushering him away with one hand and light shoves on the back before he could retort. "It's the last day of the Lantern Rite, you won't get a chance like this until next year, Aether. Go back to the inn and keep convincing your friend to go with you before it's too late, okay? I heard everyone's cooking will be on their top game, especially today."
The last comment was meant for Paimon and she certainly got it. With both your gentle prodding and the small pixie's aggressive pulling of his hair, Aether had no choice put to rush to the inn before sundown. From what he's told you about his Wangshu friend, he was a very adept introvert, so you could wish Aether nothing but good luck on his little self-quest to make this 'Xiao' person enjoy the last bit of the rite (at the back of your mind, you could recall Qiqi telling about someone with the same name one morning).
Now with the otherworldly duo out of sight, you proceeded to walk up the large set of stairs, skipping two when the weight of the crate started to become more prominent.
Baizhu was inside behind the counter, looking down on some old, yellowing books when he heard shuffling coming near. An exhale through his nose was all he gave away to his weariness as he closed the book, Changsheng hissing at the dust it picked up before curling tighter around his shoulders. Baizhu closed his eyes and prepared a well-practiced smile for whatever customer would come, polite formalities rolling off his tongue before seeing who it was. His smile, however, quickly turned into genuine when he saw it was you, a glint in his eye only your presence could evoke as he went rounded the desk to greet you.
"Welcome back, love," he said, pressing a soft peck to your cheek as you entered the threshold. "What did it took you so long?"
You smiled at his gesture and returned it in like, lightly patting his side to tell him to silently ask to step aside, "I ran into the outlanders on my way to the harbor and got a bit distracted, so sorry." you placed the crate on top of the desk, careful to move any important papers out of the way first, and couldn't hold back a relieved sigh once the hardwood of the box didn't dug into your forearms. "I got the goods though, check if everything you need is in it so we can go back to stocking them."
"Of course, of course. Always such an efficient job done with you." Baizhu mused, golden hues eyeing the way you rubbed at your forearms to relieve some of the irritation away. Then he hummed, "Let's get you something for that too, Qiqi came back not too long ago with the flowers, so I would need your help to prepare the ailment creams since Gui hasn't returned yet."
"Aye, aye..." you absentmindedly nodded, already used to the work schedule after being with the doctor so much. Rolling your shoulders to relieve the tension and cracking your knuckles (ignoring Baizhu's side-eye at the motion) you moved to the back and started to work.
That's how it usually was, with Baizhu at the front and center, Gui outside or at the back putting medicines together, Qiqi out herb-picking, and you dropping by to aid them. You had your own commissions for the Guild to attend to, yes, but you could always lend a hand to the pharmacy every bit that you could. With Baizhu's poor condition and Qiqi's short-term memory, you worried over the pair— of course, your deepest condolences were to Herbalist Gui, as he was the most normal and healthy out of the two and often left to manage the shop and heavy-handling, he never complained though, and you had to admire his determination.
Baizhu had once warned you that juggling between Guild commissions and helping in the pharmacy was once going to take its toll on you, and while you didn't doubt such methods were going to come bite you in the ass, you wouldn't turn down the chance to help out and lighten their workload.
He's warned you, yet never seems to decline any of your offers and takes advantage of them in stride. You don't think too much about that.
Eventually, the little sun rays that were left eventually snuffed out, the streets of Liyue lighting up once again by the red lights in people's homes and business. The harbor was particularly buzzing with energy as people hurried to make lanterns and write wishes, the one moment of calm you guys had in the pharmacy while people were hurried on and about.
As the last person left the premises, Gui stepped out as well when Baizhu relieved him to find a place he could watch the lantern release. Once the herbalist was gone, it was just you, Qiqi, and Baizhu left inside, with you and him having a pleasant talk with each other; you leaning on your elbows in the desk counter as Baizhu finished writing down some recipes for the next day. Qiqi was sitting on the floor whilst flipping her notebook for small notes of today.
It was peaceful, even with the rite on-going and people moving on and about, their sounds didn't reached you here. It was a nice change from the usual lively Liyue and your hefty life as an adventurer. No fighting, no imminent danger, no Fatui. Just you and the small little family that were Baizhu and Qiqi (you'd dare to call them as such, even if not directly).
"What do you think people are wishing for this year?" you asked him, cheek on your palm as you eyed him crouch down behind the desk you were on.
"The resurrection of Rex Lapis," due to his light tone, you assumed he was jesting (you thought), and your head bobbed with quiet laughter.
"True, true, that whole... sea monster thing could have been solved with him here," you weren't blessed by any Archon, so your connection to Liyue went as far as being a native. "But Mora would also be a good wish too, no? Loads of it!"
"Oh, wouldn't you say?" Baizhu gave a small smile, peering up at you through his lashes. "You better not have jinxed me, (Y/n). Wishes are meant to be private affairs."
"Hey, I didn't asked what you wished for! So it doesn't count," you had dragged him to the harbor one day, to accompany to at least make a wish. You wished for him to get better from his unknown illness, and you hope that he wished the same thing too (is eternal life too far-fetched from that? Is it still selfish if he wished for you to be by his side through it all?).
"Either way," Baizhu grunted a little as he stood back up from his crouch, clapping his hands together to get rid of any dust. "success in business is also a desirable wish. Since the Rites of Descension are going to be over with without the Geo Archon to supply his assistance."
You nodded, "Yes, but what about— oh! Wouldn't Mora go obsolete since Rex Lapis can't make it anymore? We'd all run out eventually."
"Now you certainly want to jinx us."
"Just thinking out loud!"
"Please, love," he leaned over the desk to be face to face with your grinning form, eyes glancing to your lips for a second before locking sights with you. "don't be a bad omen to the pharmacy. I would hate to have to ban you from visiting so constantly if so."
You playfully scoffed, a laugh following after. "You ban me? Oh, Baizhu, beloved," you neared your face closer to his, just an inch separating your lips. His lips twitched when a smirk adorned your features, (e/c) eyes narrowing at sly golden hues filled with secrets you can only dream unveil, "I'd like to see you try."
"Heyyy..." a small voice interrupted your stare off, snapping both of you out of your reverie. You looked down and saw Qiqi tugging on your shirt, her half-lidded eyes staring blankly at you.
"Ah, wh-what's the matter, Qiqi?" You were about to smooch in front of the child, well done. You sort of wished she hadn't stopped you, but oh well.
Still holding onto your shirt, she used her free hand to point to the night sky outside. You blinked at her once before gasping, "Oh! The lanterns?" she nodded. "Well let's go then! Wouldn't want you to miss 'em!" looking at Baizhu again you jerked your head to the exit of the pharmacy for him to follow you both, and then took Qiqi's hand and led her out.
Baizhu watched you two leave, and then he sighed. A breathy laugh turned into a chuckle rose from his throat, he placed a strand of loose hair behind his ear and stared at the spot where you had been standing, a smile starting to form on his lips.
"You have it bad," Changsheng mused, a hint of mockery in her slithery tone, but he ignored her (he does that a lot, she knows, but just this once, she won't chastise him for it).
"Baizhu! You're going to miss the Mingxiao lantern, come on!"
He sighed — almost swooned, he'd say— your voice easily carrying him to where you were standing outside the pharmacy, Qiqi on your shoulders as you leaned forward on the railing. Your gaze caught his when he stood beside you and you offered a smile before turning back to the harbor to see the lantern release (not even all the stars in the sky could compare to the shine in your eyes, he notes).
And the sky is soon became engulfed with Xiao lanterns, floating lights softly elevating in the night, soon to become only dots adorning the midnight umber that contrasts it. A beautiful display indeed, especially when the awaited Mingxiao lantern of Skybracer was released, painting the skies with a celestial blue and golden. A worthy show to honor and their gratitude to the fallen, mighty, Adepti.
But if Baizhu had anything to say, such theatrics wouldn't even come close to hold a candle to you. He had glanced at you not long after the Mingxiao, you were awestruck by the display, regardless of how many times you had seen it in the past, your eyes reflected the lantern lights in a beautiful mix. You glanced up at Qiqi, asking for her opinion on the 'pretty lights', she answered you by draping her small arms over your head, chin resting comfortably on the crown of your head and your eyes closed when you laughed, not doubting that she had enjoyed it.
You seemed to have caught his wandering (dare he say, adoring) gaze, for you smiled at him yet again, that smile that caused his heart to go faster and stop at the same time, rapid palpitations that bounced off his ears, he was afraid you'd hear it.
"Happy lantern rite, Baizhu." your eyes crinkled at the corners, your eyes as loving as they've ever been for him and him alone. A smile, a glance, a touch of the hands, something so simple for most, yet something that meant indescribably the world to him.
There was a warmth enveloping the tips of his ears, he was glad the glow of the lanterns wasn't strong enough for you to see it. In the peaceful atmosphere where the soft light of the sky showered all of Liyue, an arm found its way around you, a tender touch against your skin that made you lean into it, pulling you as close to him as he could. This time, he could guaranteed that he had swooned and you certainly heard it. Good.
"...Happy lantern rite to you, too, (Y/n)." Please allow him to spend more with you.

Haikyuu ATLA AU (pt.1)
A/N: Crawling out of my grave to drop this heinous thing as I work on requests and a little fic based on one of the Haikyuu-bu stories. Look forward to that!
———
Hinata Shouyo - Airbender. He’s pretty sloppy with his techniques, the most he does is propel himself with surprisingly strong gusts of wind for jumping. Since neither his mother nor his sister have any bending abilities, he sets of in a mission to master it, taking the example of a strong airbender who used similar tricks to himself.
Oikawa Tooru - Waterbender. Fancy boy from the Northern Tribe, as a bender his waterbending skills were Bad, worse than most of the other kids in the tribe, but luckily he's a fast learner (with a big ego). Unfortunately the arrival of the seemingly innate prodigy Tobio put a dent to his spirits, soon growing into a spiteful distaste for the boy. That aside, Oikawa's way if waterbend is as pristine as you'd imagine when making a demonstration of power, but can quickly become powerful and harsh when in combat training, which ends in him hurting himself more than once. As soon as he learned how to turn his water into ice that became his to-go tactic, gives him a sense of security in expense of yet not mastering any healing abilities.
Kageyama Tobio - Avatar. Originally from the northern tribe like Oikawa, but he showed signs of being the Avatar very young, fire being the first element he learned and basically the one he sticks with the most. This boy, is tense, and therefore can’t airbend for shit. This is why he sets off into a quest to master airbending and become a proper Avatar (with a terrible, terrible personality) and encounters fellow waterbender Sugawara plus company and, unfortunately, the first airbender to cross their way, Hinata. We'll get more into these three's relationships at a later date, but that's the main drill as of now.
Tendou Satori - Waterbender (Bloodbender). Accidentally bloodbend one of his teachers when he was younger, which caused him to be shunned by his peers all throughout his life in the Southern Tribe. Since he learned how to bloodbend he hasn’t waterbend at all, some say he forgot, others say he never knew how to in the first place. Eventually he left the tribe and wandered the foreign lands alone, marveling himself in the wonders of the world, posing as a non-bender. Through his travelling he encountered Ushijima and stuck together since then, becoming good friends surprisingly fast. Tendou will never admit it out loud, but he hopes to find another bloodbender one day.
Tsukishima Kei - Earthbender. Unlike most earthbenders in the Earth Kingdom, his style is more... say, elegant? Refined, not as rough as most benders of his type, but he is pretty grounded alone. He knows how to metalbend, maybe even better than how he earthbends and definitely uses it more often, says it's classy. But, he had a rough start in the ways of the bending, not being skilled enough and a slow learner and the fact that neither his mother or his brother are benders didn't help either. He caused... A few troubles as a kid, resulting in damage to his own house and family and expanding to others as collateral damage— he never meant to do it! It were all just accidents, accidents his family had to pay for (but Akiteru and their mom were elated to find out he Kei could bend, regardless of the mishaps and of the jealousy Akiteru may have felt in the beginning, he still feels bad about it). Hence all this, Kei dislikes prodigies with a burning passion and sometimes voices his distaste to his one (1) friend, Yamaguchi.

Suga, Daichi, Tanaka, and Noya with a S/O who’s Great at Volleyball
Request: Can you do suga and daichi + tanaka and nishinoya with a seemingly lazy s/o that somehow turns out to be a very experienced volleyball player? Thanks!
A/N: This ask spoke to me on so many levels sjkjsksjsk. Hope that my brief days of volleyball but constant lazy mood serve for something (was that a pun???). I tried to make the reader gender neutral, failing if you squint. Enjoy and send requests!
Tumblr media
Sawamura Daichi
Daichi was already very well aware of your reluctance to do, well, any physical activity. And while he tried to get you to do some exercise and accompany him on his morning runs, he didn’t pry much more.
So one day the team is in desperate need for practice due to a practice match with Nekoma approaching, but their gym is under maintenance and therefore unable to use.
And since the basketball team + girls volleyball gym is also under their use constantly, they can’t borrow theirs either.
Coah Ukai tells them to call it off and not to worry, that that’d do no good and it’d be better to not stress themselves out too much. Advised them to practice a bit on their own until the gym is fixed.
But Daddychi is stressedichi because they still have some things to tune, try new tosses and spikes and uughhh they can’t do that without a proper place.
Daichi comes home to you after the terrible announcement is made, looking very disheartened and glum as he repeated the news to you.
So you, being an amazing partner, offer him and his team a place to practice — a gymnasium no one uses anymore very close to where you live.
Daichi is just so happy that he doesn’t even questions how you know it, just to tell him a day and time to take the team there.
So the day arrives, you wait for Daichi and his team at the gates and right after school the volleyball team is following the ever leisure you like a group of ducklings.
After an uphill trek to the place, the boys found themselves in front of a large gymnasium with just a little bit of rust at the walls and some foliage, but otherwise in a good state.
You open the doors with the key (which should’ve been a clue) and once inside you turn on the lights, revealing a surprisingly clean training area, with nets, scoreboards and such. The team gaped, since the inside certainly didn’t looked like the outside at all, but you shrug them off and usher them to get started with practice, and so they do.
You just lean against the wall near the doors, arms crossed over your chest with a watchful eye on each of them as they do their thing, often dropping some tips and corrections here and there, and that’s when Daichi is like ??? cuz everything you’re saying is,, accurate and makes sense and the boys are getting better???
So as they’re taking a break Daichi comes up to you and asks you how do you know so much about volleyball, sure he’s talk to you about, maybe even tried teaching you a little, but none of the advise you gave were remotely similar to the simplistic stuff he’s told you.
And when you very nonchalantly tell him you used to be in a top team??
“Come again?” Daichi dumbly uttered, an absent smile on his face as though he didn’t quite understood.
“I used to be part of a team,” You repeat, an amuse smirk making its way to your face as your boyfriend’s eyes widen considerably. “We used to be real good too, almost a Shiratorizawa level in the rankings of Miyagi and all.”
“You— I— you were in a—” Daichi sputtered, eliciting a laugh out of you as he took a deep breath to recollect his thoughts, waiting until your laughing fit was done to squeak out a, “How?”
“Eeesh, you think so lowly of me? I’m kinda hurt, love.” You feign a hurt expression and press a hand to your chest to emphasize to fake whole in your heart. Chuckling as he tried to backpedal on his wording and scramble to spew apologies to you before you cut him off with a lazy wave. “‘S fine, can’t blame ya,”
Daichi breathes out a sigh of relief before actually asking something. “You... keep saying used to, why aren’t you playing anymore?”
“We got to nationals and that was it for me, I guess.” You answered, glancing at your shoes and missing his eyes widening once again. “That was kinda my one goal, and after that was done I guess I was too. Heh, the team’s still wanting me to rejoin them, but it’s too much of a hassle.”
“You don’t like it anymore?” his question came a bit too sharp, and it certainly hit a cord in you from the way you flinched slightly.
“That’s...” Seeing as you sighed wearily, Daichi took it upon himself to voice his thoughts, leaning on the wall right beside you where your arms were grazing each other. “I think you still do.”
“Huh?” You breathed out, eyebrows lifted
“You seem to know a lot, possibly more than I do, and you’ve gone to nationals, that’s one heck of an achievement!” He complemented, leaning forward so he was making eye contact with you and nodded to the court. “You can help us a lot, and I’m sure our advisor and coach would appreciate it. Plus, from the way you kept looking at our plays... I think you still want to play volleyball— and I get that!”
“But... If you decide to go back in court with your team, just know that I’ll be supporting you all the way!” He gave you a warm smile, one of those he reserves for you and you only, and you couldn’t help smile back, although understandably mellow, and nodded with a quiet okay. “I think we have to get back into practice, before Kageyama bonks Hinata on the head again,” he sweatdropped, snapping his head to you with a half-heartedly stern expression. “You have to tell me more about your sport days though. Everything in detail!”
You couldn’t help the joyous laugh that escaped your throat at his order, and waved him off. “Sure sure, now go save your decoy, Captain,” And as he went to separate the oddball duo, you smiled softly to yourself in thought. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad...
Sugawara Koushi
Sugawara’s another one who tried to get you to do some physical activities, but much more playfully than Daichi’s attempts. But after he noticed you wouldn’t budge from your position in bed or the couch (depending on he day) he very quickly gave up and decided to tease you about it and cuddle with you, because he is a man of culture.
The two of you got to Karasuno, so you were often waiting for him after classes either outside or inside the gym (depending on whether you felt like napping or not). He also told you many times to go home and eat something and not wait for him until three-thirty.
On this particular occasion you found yourself inside watching the boys (mostly your boy) practice, secretly taking mental notes about their plays and forms. You internally cringe at the horrible receives their current ginger boy has, and the salty french fry too. Huh, should I have fries today...? Oh, that sounds good... Ketchup and all...
You were so lost in your own world controlled by your empty stomach that you didn’t noticed Hinata missing a receive and the now stray volleyball coming straight at you.
Almost.
Because when you hear Sugawara’s call for your name and look up from the ground, eyes locking into the incoming ball it’s like if a switch just flipped.
You immediately stick your arms out, body lowered into a semi-crouch yet face blank as ever, the satisfying bang of the ball hitting your forearms resonated throughout the gym, and the familiar sting on your forearms becoming dull fairly quickly. You watch the ball bounce off your arms and into the woodplanks.
Suga (and everyone else) is just,,, w hat??? because you, the one person in PE who uses the excuse of “I stubbed my toe,” to not stretch, just did a perfect receive and like??? now you’re just picking up bag and leaning against the wall again like it didn’t just happened???
“WOAHHH!!! (L/n)-san!! How’d you do that?!” Hinata asks as he hops around you, stars in his eyes and pumping his fists. “The ball was like ‘whoosh’ super fast! But then it went like ‘bam!’ when you received it! And then it went ‘pom!’ when it touched the ground and then—”
“Hinata get off their face, dumbass!” Kageyama scolded the tangerine, holding him by the back of his collar. “Plus it went ‘pom’ first and then ‘bam’, boke!”
“Shouldn’t you be apologizing for almost hitting them, Shrimpy?” Tsukishima snickered, picking the ball you just received. However you cut off the ginger’s attempt apologies with a lazy wave and a yawn.
“Don’t worry. I’m used to receiving harsher stray balls than that,” You nonchalantly said, causing the him to comment a “So cool!!” while the older teens just stared at you bug-eyed.
“Wh-wha— (Y/n) how do you know how to make a receive like that??” Sugawara squeaked, he nearly had a heart attack at the thought of a volleyball hitting your unsuspecting form, but now he’s ????
“Oh, I sometimes go to a volleyball camp my uncle owns on summer break. Been going there since I was little.” You scratch you arm, the stink spiking up a tiny bit. “Is practice done now?”
Now Suga’s even more bug-eyed but soon practice is finished and you and your boyfriend are walking home alongside the team (since Daichi said he’d invite you guys some pork buns and— well, who are you refuse free food?). But the earlier events are still on their head, so they question you about it.
“Oi, oi! You should teach these two how to receive, see if they get better at it!” Tanaka exclaimed while poking the blond and ginger first years on the cheeks, the former swatting his hand away while the latter wholeheartedly agreeing.
“I don’t have the energy for it though... I’d get sleepy real fast.” You said, looking between you and Suga to your intertwined hands, swinging them absently as you went.
“(Y/n),” Suga got your attention while the others continued their shenanigans, fake teary eyes and a cute pout on his face. “Why’d you never told me you played volleyball? Of all the times I’ve asked you to do something with me??”
“I don’t play, I just know how to.” You shrugged, looking down and squeezing his cold hand. “Plus, cuddling seems more fun than playing that all day...” you muttered that last part with a light pink blush on your cheeks, and so he couldn’t stay ‘mad’ any longer, cooing internally at your bashful confession.
Suga then pecked you cheeks, “I guess we can do that once we get home then,” He watched in amusement as they only grew darker in shade at his affection, eliciting an awed sound from him as he pinched your cheeks.
“K-Koushiii...”
Tanaka Ryuunosuke
He finds out through a practice match! Your school against Karasuno!
So, Tanaka here, my boy, was really pumped for this match because both Ukai and Takeda have been hyping them about this top school they’d be facing, but through his elation the name of the school might’ve slipped past him, so he was unaware that it was your school.
You just leaned on your hand as he vividly explained you how he was gonna beat the other team, and since he was already used to you mellow and quiet reactions he didn’t think much of it and kept rambling on — sort of why the two of you were such a great balance to each other, your lethargic nature being dragged around by Tanaka’s energetic activities, his own boisterous persona  taking it down a notch by your gentle coaxing (read: kisses).
You see, you already knew your school was facing off against his —after all, you were the one to request it in the first place — but you didn’t want to ruin the surprise yet and kept quiet, inwardly laughing to yourself when Tanaka imitated a spike and kept with his demonstration.
The day of the practice match comes around and soon the rival school knocks to their door, bowing to thank them for having them and to have a good game. When they straightened their posture though, Tanaka stares at one of the players that looks oddly familiar.
Blinks one, twice, thrice... and then literally reels back in pure shock, mouth hanging open.
(Y-Y/N)?!?” He gasps loudly and dramatically as you give him a lopsided grin and a peace sign.
“Osu,”
“Buh — BUT HOW?!” He sputtered, earning a disapproving look from Daichi.
“You really didn’t know we were facing their school?”
“W-well, no! But — ugh,” Tanaka snapped his head to your still grinning form, you caught on quickly to his frustrated yet still shocked expression and put your hands up in mock surrender.
“I didn’t want to spoil the surprise,” You stuck your tongue out. “As captain,I can’t gave all my cards shown.”
“CAPTAIN?!”
“This is so good,” Suga stifled a laugh, choosing to shake his head and place his hands on his hips. “I am a bit surprised though, didn’t thought (L/n) here would be a pro player— ah, no offence!”
“I really don’t think you can offend this bozo with anything, really.” One your vice captain said, nudging you with their shoulder as you stupidly nodded your head in affirmation.
“I wouldn’t have guessed it myself, but I guess the element of surprise is gonna make us wipe the floor with ya in your own turf.” Now that got him perked up and shoved his fleeting soul back to his body, and it also sparked the flame o rivalry within the other boys. Without further ado, the match started and Tanaka was left speechless.
You were a Setter and your skills were nothing short of spectacular, both a a player alone and as a captain, and it showed in the way you managed to get your Ace past Asahi’s and Tsukishima’s blocks in the first minute of the second set, simultaneously inspiring the rest of your team to fend off against their tricks.
The many times your Libero and blockers shut down Kageyama’s and Hinata’s quick attacks took its toll on the boys and morale. Tanaka might’ve gotten distracted by your perfect form and leadership skills a few times, all of which he had to be snapped out of by Daichi.
In the end, you guys played a total of three matched, with your team winning the first and last ones. At the end of it all the coaches allowed both teams to mingle and bond, while yours gave some pointers and corrections to Karasuno, which most of them took wholeheartedly (you felt Kageyama’s glare-like-stare on you while so), all the while Tanaka stayed by your side and followed you like an adoring puppy.
“What is it?” You questioned and finally directed your attention to him as you waited outside for any signs of your bus to pick you guys up.
“You’re amazing,” Tanaka breathlessly answered, sparks in his eyes as he stared at you admiringly. “Oh my god, my s/o’s amazing...” he repeated quietly to himself, as though not believing it. You laughed aloud, not surprised by his impulsive replied but nonetheless bemused.
“Well, I couldn’t really go half-assed when passion is in everything you do. Your team’s pretty strong, so I’d have to watch out for you guys down the road.” He nodded vigorously and kept gushing about your skills, you returning each compliment with one of your own in a more lax manner. Once your bus arrived and the teams were formally bidding each other farewell, you sneaked a quick peck to your boyfriend’s unsuspecting lips.
“We oughta chat a bit more later, ’kay?” and with a final wave to your blushy, swooning boyfriend, you boarded the bus.
Nishinoya Yuu
Also through a game, but this time it’s an official one! Qualifier of the Miyagi prefecture representative for Nationals, at that.
First off, you and Nishiyona? Definition of opposites attract. Like, I’m not joking when I say the boys vb team was shooketh to their core when you sluggishly arrived at the gym one day and asked for Noya, saying he was you boyfriend.
You were pretty surprised yourself when he confessed too, considering he didn’t seem to like your lethargic, lackluster attitude that much. But according to him, “The way your eyes light up when you speak about things you’re passionate for makes up for your lack of everything else!”
And you were like, “lmao ok, let’s hang”
But all that is beyond the point! The focus here is: Noya really, really, really wanted you to come see him play in the qualifiers, seeing as you’ve missed pretty much his other big games and most matches so far, under the same excuse that you already had a prearranged event that couldn’t be postponed nor that you could miss.
While very whiny and pouty, he understood and let it slide (under the deal tat you gotta pamper him in kisses before he departs and to wish him good luck every five minutes (tops), to which you agreed humorously).
So the qualifying day is here and, under a close call, Karasuno comes out on top and the team decided to stay and watch the other matches. They sat on the bleachers of the gym and watched the ongoing match in analytical silence as they ate a few snacks.
Honestly they were... worried about this. The team that came out the victor would be the team they’d face, and one of them was destroying the other in this last set. 10-24, that’s painful to bare.
However Noya’s eyes were glued to one player, who if he had to guess, seemed to be the Ace of the winning team and an Opposite Hitter from the amount of points they’ve scored. Zoning in their oddly familiar (h/c) hair, sluggish movements whenever they were in the back row, yet never switched out for the Libero.
Karasuno was sitting in their side of the court, so he couldn’t see their face too well, but as the Ace jumped to score the final point, and turned around to face their cheering teammates, he felt his eyes widen like saucers,
“(Y/N)?!” Nishinoya shouted over the cheering of the crowd the team, but it still caught your attention at the sound of your name in the familiar tone you’ve grown accustomed to.
Encouraged by the call, you turned to look over your shoulder slowly, half-lidded eyes widening a fraction as you locked eyes with your gobsmacked boyfriend’s, his team’s nervous inquiries falling flat.
“Yuu...?” You slowly twisted your body fully to acknowledge him. He must’ve won his match then...
That’s when it dawned on you; Noya had won his match, and you did yours, that means you will be facing one another for the last round before the finals. Neither of you were going to let up, you both knew that, you also knew the barrage of questions he’ll throw your way the second you’re free were just as impending.
So, as tired and sweaty as you were, you raised an arm and five fingers, duly noting the cameras following your movements, more focused on the way Noya’s eyes widened and said, “Five minutes,”
You allowed yourself to smile intimidatingly, shifting your fingers so you were now pointing straight at him.
“Good luck.”

How the Haikyuu Boys Deal with Love
Hinata Shouyou is confused by this new wave of emotions. His insides get all mushy and giddy whenever you’re around, it’s weird — but in a good way! There’s this warm feeling in his chest, and a goofy grin on his face every time he sees you — like happiness! He relates this feeling to when the team goes out for meat buns, or when you compliment him for his receives — or when he spikes Kageyama’s tosses and scores that final point they needed to win. It’s exhilarating, it’s exciting, and he loves it! And he also loves when you say it too!
Kyoutani Kentarou is... bothered, at first. Or perhaps flustered is a more accurate word. The most noticeable thing about him experiencing love for someone is how he immediately quiets down whenever you’re near him. His demeanor changes and becomes remarkably mellow. He lowers his head slightly, wrings his fingers helplessly at his sides, the red tinting his ears, he might stammer once or twice depending on the circumstances — It’s quite a sight, the team is baffled that you managed to tame the mad dog without even meaning to. Honestly once he gets around why he’s feeling that way he... might become even more agitated, but he’ll still try to deny it, as lame and obvious his attempts are.
Yes, he might want to hold your hand, and yes, he might be a smudgy bit curious about how your soft lips would feel on his cheek in the same the way you kiss his fingers better after a match, and yes maybe he thinks about treating you for some hamima chicken one day — but!! That doesn’t mean anything!! He wasn’t daydreaming about you in the middle of practice that one time so now please stop looking at him like that!
Haiba Lev is, for lack of a better word, like a puppy about to go on a stroll first thing in the morning. He’s all over the place, voice loud and cheery — honestly his excitement might rub off on some of the team. He’ll take any chance he gets to rant about you, about how good looking you are, about how he adores the way your presence immediately lightens the room. He is quite blunt with his words, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he told you all this himself face-to-face, albeit with a bright pink flush on his face while rubbing the nape of his neck the more he goes on. Even if he loses volume as he speaks, you know he means every thing he says.
Goshiki Tsutomu feels nothing short of flustered. He’s stumbling over his words, sweating buckets, beet-red and ready to combust and pass out whenever your hand accidentally grazes his, and when you praise him? Tell him that he’ll be an amazing Ace?? Oh, you better have an ice pack ready to go. Most of the team will catch him staring at you adoringly in practice or in passing, which leads to him missing a receive and having the volleyball smack him on the face. But, that’s okay!! He gets you to treat his injuries!
Terushima Yuuji is elated! Bouncing around with a bright smile on his face, babbling on and on about how amazing you are to the team to the point where they all tell him to confess already and get off their faces — he can’t help it though! He blames it on the fact that your cute face and the smile you send him always pop up in his head while he’s trying to practice. So therefore, it’s your own fault. But that’s fine though, not like he’d ever want those things to stop. He might be a wannabe smooth flirt, and has has his fair share of partners and flings, but when he’s really really in love, he’ll be restless until he finally confesses how he feels.
Kunimi Akira immediately becomes shy. Once he realizes why his face heat up when you compliment him, why his palms get sweaty when you smile at him, why there’s a fluttery feeling in his stomach whenever you’re too close to him — once he takes note of all that, he’ll be nothing but bashful and sheepish around you. More quiet than usual, his face softens when you speak to him, and has an almost imperceptible tint of pink on his cheeks. Weirdest thing: the way he smiles at you when you come up with an idea or some funny quip. That tiny, gentle, sheepish little tight-lipped smile he seems to reserve for you and you only. That should be more than enough to tell you just how much he really likes you.

Rules and Guidelines
(Edited on 30/04/2022)
Can write for:
Boku no Hero Academia
Kimetsu no Yaiba
Haikyuu!!
Genshin Impact (mostly)
Please read before requesting!
What I write:
- (fem, gender neutral, male) Reader x Character, polyamorous relationships, perhaps some character x character if I'm inspired enough.
But also, just about any general character/s without the need of a S/O in the mix.
- Headcanons, imagines, scenarios, drabbles.
Any type of genre is also fine. Whether it’d be fluff or angst, it’s A-Okay for me. I feed off of violence and angst with/out comfort so please go wild homies!
- Depictions of mental illnesses (such as depression, low-self esteem, certain disorders, anger issues, and so on). There will be a trigger warning at the start of those posts.
As someone who always tries to do their due amount of research, and has a couple of their own issues myself, I feel prepared to write about this sort of topic.
If I lack the confidence and don’t want to make something of which I am not certain of in fear of disrespecting someone, or just because it makes me plain uncomfortable though, depending on what it is, I will let you know or delete the ask. I’m up or a lot of stuff though!
What I don’t write:
- Match-Ups / Songfics / Textfics.
I don’t know how to write them and quite honestly don’t care enough to. Sorry if that sounds mean fam,,, people who do write them are pretty cool though, they're just not really my thing at all.
- Full-on Smut / NSFW (?)
This might change, depending on how much I can learn to write about it, but for now I'm incapable of writing cohesive smut scenes with my current level of expertise.
- Pedophilia / Incest / etc.
If there are any other themes that I don’t feel comfortable writing about that hasn’t been mentioned here in detail, I will only answer said ask saying explaining it or deleting it.
Important Notes:
- First and foremost, in this blog we appreciate and respect everyone, whoever they are by whatever they identify as. If you have something against it, please do not interact with this blog.
- If you want to request a random mishmash group of characters, please me mindful of how many. My maximum will be of 4 or 6 characters unless I state otherwise.
- Casual talk and chitchat is a-okay. I’d love to hear y’all ramble about anything and everything!
- Please be specific with your requests. It would be immensely easier for me to understand and write the way you guys want it, instead of the way I understood it (unless y’all want me to go off with it, which I’d also appreciate if you said in the ask).
I’m that kind of people that need an accurate explanation of something in order to go along with, so please don’t be afraid to get as detailed as you want!
Unless in your type of request you’re allowing me to go off with my own take on it, or something simple like “tsukishima fluff headcanons”, or me changing some stuff to fit my nitpickity mind.
I’m kinda forgetful with these things, so if you have any other questions that I haven’t been clear about here, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Kudos, remember to wash your hands, keep your distance, stay healthy and stay safe <3
