Imagine yourself at your volleyball tournament. Your team made it to the big show and all of the best schools in Japan are in the same stadium as you.

You’re fixing your pony tail when beautiful grey hair strikes your vision- hair thats laid on a man with perfect skin, and eyes that are the definition of attraction. You should be focused on the group huddle but your eyes keep slipping pass your coach and onto him.

The caption is talking but it’s hard to pay attention. You shake off his image and tell yourself to focus. Crushes are minor and if anything, you’re hopeless. You’re not from around here so people think you’re odd. No way, no one , let alone a hottie like him, would be into someone like you.

After a warm up and running drills, you’re released for a break.

Though your skills landed you on the team, you’re still an outlander who just came to Japan- so you don’t have any girlfriends with you when you make your way to the concession stands.

Your pocket carries your money, while your hands are busy with the chips you brought along with you.

Gosh, I was so hungry

Being watched tickles the back of your neck as you make your way to the front of the stands. Having eyes on you is something you think you’ll never get used to as the foreigner.

Embarrassment sinks in, feeling that you must look strange stuffing your face out in a place like this. Everyone is stretching and looking at cute shirts, and here you are with your chips looking at more food.

Oh well. Gotta feed your curves somehow, right?

The weight of someone’s eyes on you gets heavy as they come closer. Your face is practically burning from their gaze. Gulping your last bite, you decide to be friendly.

OH fuck *nearly chokes*

You’re faced with the same grey haired stud you saw from earlier. He doesn’t look too friendly… but he doesn’t look mean either.

Say something!

“Want sum?” You offer your best smile and extend your hand holding the chips, hoping to lift the tension you feel.

A second passes and you realize how weird it must be to offer a stranger food. The smile on your face struggles to hold place and heat washes over you.

You can literally feel your cheeks turning red. Running away and hiding under your hoodie starts sounding like a good idea. That is.. until you see his lips curl at the ends. It’s a smirk that could kill, and had you not been on a sugar and adrenaline rush, you’d be knocked out.

?!?!

“Yur not from around here. Are yuh?” His voice smoothens the air between you as he reaches for the bag!

He locks eyes on you while taking the chip into his mouth, slowly beginning to chew.

“Is it that obvious? I’m terrible”

“Eh, a bit. But you got good taste-“ he points to his swollen cheek and swallows. “So I wouldn’t say terrible”

Comfort and excitement squeeze at your heart. His face is smooth with a perfectly sculpted frame. Those cheeks of his looked so cute puffed too, you might audibly squeal.

“Well If you like that, you should try these other chips I have!” The heartbeat within you speeds up.

“Heh, Sure-EH!“

At first you thought you were seeing double. But a blond version of him yanked him by his shoulder yelling how they needed to get ready.

You’re left standing there feeling disappointed and shocked, hoping you’d see him again… God he’s so hot..

You’re now in mid match. It was finally your teams game and you’re on the 2nd set. The pressure is on with you as libero. You dive and chase every ball that flys and strikes.

One ball somehow gets lost. Your team is desperate for points and you’re not letting any chances go. You don’t think, you just follow the ball. A teammate bumped in desperation and now you’re chasing the ball to the side. Unknowingly to you, you’re heading straight to the edge of the stands. You take a leap and fly!

Meanwhile…

Osamu couldn’t help but look for you. After beating up his brother for taking him away, he played his match and kept his eyes open. Hoping to see the pony tail cutie that offered him food.

Once he found you, he watched your game. Impressed by your dedication to the ball, he watches in awe. Of course, his brother and mates were there too (Atsumu was mainly teasing him over staring).

That’s when it happened. The ball losing control. You running without thinking, heading straight to the stands. He saw it, he knew you were going to crash.

So he runs…

Back to You…

Your wrist bump the ball back towards your team and you’re left falling.

Oh no, you finally think, feeling gravity pull you down.

To Osamu, you looked like a fairy. Flying in the air to reach the ball. Your hair pulled back with beautiful fly aways flowing at the sides, sweat glistening in the light, and your shorts were riding up oh so nicely.

You crash into someone’s warm embrace and you both hit the ground. The pain is minimal and temporary thanks to the person breaking your fall. Cheering erupts behind you so you relax knowing your team got the ball back. A deep breath brings you back to your surroundings and you realize you’re on top of your friendly hottie.

His face is strained but those glistening grey orbs are focused on you. Your heart nearly stops for a moment. The proximity between you two is something you can only pull off in a situation like this. As much as you’d like to stay on top of him with his arms wrapped around your back and waist, you need to get up. Pain stings your skin as it separates from him, but happiness replaces it knowing it was him who came to your rescue.

“HA! My hero, I owe you food!”

Confidence takes the wheel as you decide to close the gap and wrap your arms around him to give him a quick and sincere hug. Before you could regret anything, you leap out of his arms and back onto the court.

Osamu is left speechless, but only for a second. He wants to know your name and so much more about you. Smitten? Definitely.

“Win this set and it’ll be my treat!” You hear him shout back.

*Atsumu is left staring at his brother with an open smile.

*Kita is coming to make sure he’s okay.

*Aran smirking with a raised eyebrow at Osamu.

And Osamu picks himself up, eyes glued to the beautiful fairy, deciding where he would like to take her to eat first. Win or lose, he wants to take you out.
