A very late birthday present for @inthisfire-ifindrain ! A bit of a standard ref sheet and then seven different outfits!
[And a censored version of Fiona in her birthday suit. ;) ]
For some info on her outfit choice: I wanted to do an outfit that was a mix of European and Mughal fashion during the Golden Age of Piracy. She’s wearing a European style frock coat, boots, and a not-visible bastian shirt., with a jama coat that’s been [messily] cut off at the hips, worn without sleeves to emulate a waist coast, with dhoti style pants [the exact design of them is more modern/ anachronistic than what would have been worn], and the specific type of sword she’s wielding is a Tulwar.
The colours are taken from historical art and fashion plates. Blues, reds, and yellows were popular during the 1710s in Europe [darker and more muted colours were more common in the colonies], while green, yellow, and white were some popular colours choices during the Mughal period.
I used some new brushes from Clip Studio [including the braid and the fabric prints] since I wanted to play around with my new tablet.
My OC, Mairwen, in her outfit for the Winter Palace mission in Dragon Age Inquisition. I didn’t draw the mask she wears, but she refuses to wear the Inquisition uniform and just... Goes for a ball gown. Inspired by gown by Paolo Sebastian. Done in Watercolour with some Prisma and fine liners. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a full drawing in traditional, but since my art tablet broke, I wanted to do something I liked. So here we go.
I finally finished the art trade I’d promised to a friend.
Their MC, Asro, with our fave greedy boy Mammon!
I’d tried something ambitious with it, wanting to do lineless style initially, and it hadn’t worked, so I’d had to correct stuff. I made some sacrifices since I couldn’t fix everything, but overall, I like how it came out. :3
Please ask if you have questions about the Situational items! They are more a matter of potential complexity.

Alright, and here’s the header image for Chapter 2 of The Seal: THE Solomon, where Chris meets Solomon for the first time.
It’s the chapter that inspired me to write the fic in the first place.
Largely because I thought it was hilarious that there was a character named Solomon in the game, and I [Samie] have a tattoo of the Seal of Solomon on my stomach. I’ve had it since I was 19. And I thought to myself “Wouldn’t that just be hilarious if I was MC, with my Seal of Solomon tattoo, and I met him?”
Answer: I’d freak out.
I had an alternative layout for this header, where it also showed the demons who were talking shit about MC in this scene, debating eating them. But I chose this layout because a) I was feeling lazy and wanted something simpler and b) the Focus is on Solomon in the chapter. How he seems normal until the realization of oh-shit-it’s-him.
It was very fun to practice some lineless art for this, too. I’m not the best at clean linework, never have been, and I’ve been considering moving towards a lineless style and while this isn’t anywhere near perfect, I might start playing with it more because I just liked the feel of it.
decided that, as i’m uploading stuff to wattpad that I want to add ‘header’ images to the top of each chapter. here’s for chapter one. i’ll be posting chapter two soon, so figured it’d be good to share now!
they’re all gonna be some level of experimental for now. mostly because i’m trying to use this fic as practice for some aspects of my urban fantasy. including me exploring the potential for making into a comic [or a light novel?]
which means i need to practice with ‘scenes’.
this one, specifically, is kind of how i visualize the moment when Chris [my MC] is summoned to Devildom. literally appearing in a summoning circle surrounding by the demons that are there.
Diavolo and Lucifer are closest to the circle and are easy to make out, with Asmo, Beel and Satan in the back. Only really able to pot them because of the light from the summoning circle reflecting off them.
Specifically right after she would’ve been turned human. Design is largely inspired by her traditional lore and association with Mesopotamia! [Hence the clothing and the owl and the night background.]
Hair is meant to be a similar shade to Beel’s, but slightly pink/redder, and since the twins have purple eyes, so did she.
The shawl she wears has a similar colour/pattern to how her wings would have looked while she was an angel.
Not gonna lie, I get really salty that a lot of her lore is ignored in game, so I wanted to bring back that. I have a lot of headcanon for how the two mesh as well, if anyone was interested, I could talk about it.
the lineart for what I’m working on. That is to say, Lilith!
I don’t know how to draw animals in any form of cartoon-y, so I have to see if I can figure that out. Her being vaguely anime and the owl being mostly realistic is a bit… Off.
But that’s the only way I know how to draw animals!
oh well. This is the issue with my piecemeal learning.
But! outfit is inspired by more of the ancient Mesopotamian lore of Lilith.
Reposted Because I did a slight edit.
I really love drawing pin-ups and decided now was a good time to test out the clip studio paint I got for Christmas and give my fave sneaky sorcerer a shot.
You can find a NSFW version of this on my nsfw twitter.
This was far too much fun. Next is probably gonna be Asmodeus.
