suna definitely is the type to make fun of reader for being the innocent christian girl. He would tease and bully you every day just to get a rise out of you. He would never miss up the chance to rile you up and watch you get flustered.

so when your math teacher told you that you would have to tutor suna rintarou, it made you slightly annoyed but nonetheless, you still obliged.

even if you would never admit it, there was some tension between you and suna. His constant flirtatious act towards you made butterflies swarm in your stomach. But you couldn’t do anything about it, your family didn’t want you to be with someone until you got married.

Is there any mythology you want to add to the series other than the big cat clans? Like beasts of myth they have but we don’t? Or even stuff similar to what we have like catwolves or bloodcats (vampires)?

I will never not be disappointed that our mythical cats don’t appear in the clan lore, as if the clan cats have no imagination to create something new for in universe story telling purposes. Imagine the elders telling kits and apprentices stories of how a legendary hero killed a mighty manticore.

I wanna add more mythical bugs and it's still my goal to, at some point, reveal what a Tiger and a Lion look like to Clan cats. I want there to be stories of insects as large as a cat

I want to add DRAGONS too, but this time, acrually base them on dragonflies. Gigantic river hunters that used to catch otters as meals, which ancient warriors of LeopardClan had to outsmart

I also want to make more mythological entities based on breaking code commandments, like your face slowly turns into a hog's. Kind of like a werewolf or like... the picture of dorian gray, basically cautionary tales to be a good kitten and follow the law.

Cats turning into foxes works well too, since foxes are now less of a threat to be more in line with accurate ecology.

I also really love SOTC's story about Mouthclaw, the giant adder. I want to keep her and work her into something new, something to explain why only one type of snake is deadly and the others harmless. I want to give adders more reverence, too.

Like maybe they all used to be huge, but ONLY Mouthclaw chose not to do something underhanded. So, StarClan allowed her children to keep their venomous bites, but scornfully removed it from all the others. Power is a gift in Clan Culture.

Dunno yet.

If I add human myth monsters, it'll definitely be some fun folklore from the region instead of the popular sci-fi-guys like vampires! There's a bunch of cat cryptids in England, and I'm pretty partial to the Mari Llwyd, which is a kind of skeletal horse creature.

(I love the Mari Llwyd so much that I already gave ShadowClan a game based off the rhyming rounds you sing to ward it off)

iv been doing a lot of ddadds reminiscing lately. that game is very very close to my heart and has been for years - it's kind of surreal to return to the fancontent i made for it having grown a bit, and seeing precisely why i latched onto mary as a character as much as i did. (hmm, the guy who'd just gotten out of a bad relationship and was also an unknowing aroace latched onto the character with relationship troubles and conflicts about presenting as someone in love, who would've thought?) (also she's autistic) (i'll still fight people on this)

mary still continues to be one of my favorite characters of all time - and i still have dream daddy to thank for a lot. it's just such a genuinely warm and sweet and funny game. it's got such a kind and lackadaisical approach to adulthood that spoke to and continues to speak to me a lot as someone kind of terrified of growing up, in a lot of ways. and despite being such a silly game, joseph's ideals of the "margarita zone" spoke to me way more than i care to admit.

i wonder if the people i'd shared ddadds servers with and the like, way back in 2019, are doing well. i wonder if the old friend i did that batshit insane mary-damien cult ending rp with that read like a damn slasher film remembers it at all. i hope the people i talked about my ocs with are doing well. i hope the mary rper i lurked on the blog of is doing well. i hope the person who made the official character spotify playlist knows how much they shaped my music taste and how much i listen to them to this day. i hope the developers of this game know it's more than a silly gimmick dating sim that was popular for a year to people. (i hope they know how much damn gender euphoria it gives me lol)

I don't normally go in for ships where the text specifically says one party in the ship does not love the other, even platonically. But, honestly, it's part of why I love Fanny/Mary from Mansfield Park.

I've mentioned it before, but I feel like the adaptations tend to lean into the attraction coming mainly from Mary, who I suspect is easier for many to read as queer because of her physicality and dubious morality (:\). But in the text, it's gentle, straitlaced Fanny who talks about how she derives great pleasure from looking at Mary because "she is so extremely pretty." It's Fanny who privately acknowledges that she feels a peculiar fascination with Mary despite not loving, approving of, or feeling obligated towards her. I wish we got more emphasis on Fanny's queerness in these interpretations of the relationship.

In the adaptation of my dreams, I wouldn't want Mary hitting on Fanny as aggressively as the context allows. I'd want Fanny-centric inarticulate longing that collides with being unsure if she even slightly likes Mary (and she's quite sure she doesn't love her!). I think on Mary's side it's more that she finds it easy and natural to replace Edmund with Fanny, and she doesn't think too deeply about it beyond really really wanting Fanny to remain in her social sphere.

Fanny's fascination and painfully conscious awareness of pleasure in Mary's beauty and charm, paired with at least some genuine distaste and the lack of love, is ... let's say, not good representation. But that's not what I'm looking for from a Mary Crawford pairing, lol. Fanny feeling drawn to Mary, taking pleasure/misery in looking at her and listening to her talk or play, while simultaneously disapproving of her, possibly disliking her, is the Good Stuff(TM) as far as I'm concerned.

i'm loving new zealand so far in itself. wellington is gorgeous and has some small town/chill vibes ? idk how to explain it. the architecture is super interesting and i've been obsessing over the trees in this country for the past 2 weeks cos they're so gorgeous and different than what i'm used to! the weather is super lovely to, for winter. not cold at all and i'm living for the wind!! also ! they have nandos here??? which i didn't know ?? but a huuuuge win for me. i haven't been yet, but i will soon. i must.

but it's also been a huge adjustment? the time difference is a big thing to get used to ? i feel completely out of synch with everyone and kind of lonely tbh. but then i felt lonely in canada too so i suppose it's not a big difference in the end *shrug*. at least, here i don't know anyone so i have an excuse lmao. but yeah, it's kind of weird. it's also been really stressful, as you can imagine. flat hunting and job hunting at the same time is a lot, but i've found a room and i finally moved in on monday ! so that's helped with stress levels. i've been working on making it cozy these past few days...

ive been working on my desk space and creating a nice little insp board/decoration for when i'm working on my novel.

so yeah, that's helped! i still feel like there's no jobs for me and i'm unqualified for literally everything and i'm prob. gonna have to slither back home in disgrace and ruin in 6 months ....

but that's prob. just my anxiety talking.... we'll see haha.
