i tapped into the void state!!

not really a success story but still i was really sleepy so i got comfortable and my body immediately feel asleep bc of how tired i was and i just lazily kept affirming “i am in the void state” and “i am pure consciousness” and at some point i didn’t feel or hear anything i think i was in the void BUT i realized it after i got distracted and became aware of my body 💀 so i kept affirming that i was the void WHILE i already was 😭😭

I have an ask in my inbox that I've been working on for literal days ( I'm so sorry Axel that it's taking me a while to draft itup. I promise it's coming soon 🖤) and I'm doing so much research for it like... I'm learning so many things and connecting so many dots lol. Anyway! I did a bit of Googling for Sleep Token's original producer, George Lever, and I found a goldmine of information on the song Jaws.

A few fun facts: - The song was completed in just four days - Drums were tracked last - 32 synth tracks were recorded and kept to make up the body of the song - George mixed this, in his words, in the same mindset with which he would tackle a "pop song" (which I feel is relevant to some recent drama)

Sorry that you’ve been waiting for so long. 🫣

I’ve been trying to get hold of the original requester (Tulip Anon) about it, but they haven’t responded to my PSAs. This is my oldest request awaiting fulfilment.

I haven't really been able to write much beyond some small vignettes as I want to get permission to amend some details. At this point, I think I just have to make changes to their detailed ask and go with it.

Man… this is where I struggle, as I have no idea how to place what I write on a scale. The angst is going to be there, but it’s not heavy character death-type stuff or anything like that. And it’s me, so there will be smut, and it will be detailed, but my guess right now is more romantic/vanilla than filth/kink - it will be loss of virginity stuff.

Hope this helps, and again, apologies. 🥺🫶 To make up for it, here is a little snippet I have written:

“Where are we going!?” you demand, his gloved hand tugging yours along through the darkened gardens.

“Benedict…” you try again, once you are on the other side of a thick garden wall from the house. “What is going on?”

“Eloise told me,” is all he says. “So we are escaping.”

“W-we are?” you stutter, frowning.

“Yes! Or at least we would be if you would keep quiet… please…” he amends, sounding a touch contrite about his brusque manner, but speeding up again, headed straight for a small wooden door in the high wall, almost hidden behind long draping ropes of ivy, glowing silver in the moonlight.

When you reach it, he releases your hand and shoulders it open with considerable force, the weathered door creaking loudly, almost shattering under duress. He signals to the inky blackness beyond.

“It's now or never, y/n,” he warns as you look back at the house, lit up with the life of the ball inside. “So what is your choice?”
