ttpd review: thoughts (and prayers)

cuz wtf was that. (also providing my two cents that no one gives a shit about)

Is the promotion in the room with us?

Not going to lie, this part pissed me off. As a post evermore release swiftie, the first album release I got was midnights. And while the promotion for midnights wasn't astoundingly genius, the track list release (midnights mayhem with me) was smart. Everyday, there would be chaos all over social media of taylor taking out a number and releasing the track name. The excitement over YOYOK was to die for. But after reaching peak fame, girlie just decided shit wasn't necessary anymore. Absolutely no promotion for ttpd, except a few lyrics that provided no context (or excitement) whatsoever. That, and the very non subtle "hinting" of some big reveal of what went down between her and joe, by making some playlists, that not only ruined the perspective of many of her fans and the relationship they had with her previous songs, but ALSO. THE ALBUM HAD BARELY ANYTHING ABOUT JOE. (Not that i personally care about what happened, but it was so unnecessary to center the ONLY promotion done around someone who was barely a part of the album). Swifties went on the internet to harass joe alwyn (and his female coworkers) who might as well be called a special mention on a matty healy album. Why even do all that then? We will never know.

Confusion?

taylor released 31 songs, and while a double album theory coming true would be a dream come true for any swiftie, it just... wasn't. Out of 31 songs, barely 10 stood out. Some of it just didn't make sense, in any way. "Why is this on the album?" "This sounds like a midnights vault track." "No issues, maybe this is just a skip. I'll listen to the next. Oh wait nvm. Um." Like girl what. It just feels like a giant vault album of synth pop music.

Also, it's called the tortured poets department. There is barely anything poetic or tortured about the album aesthetic. Except maybe it's torturing me, but I'm as much of a poet as she is, which basically means I'm not one.

The album just feels so different than the other albums, in the sense that they followed an aesthetic, a certain style of music and lyrics, and created some sort of story. This one just feels like she wrote many songs and put them all on an album, picked whatever track name seemed interesting enough as the album name, and called it a day. Some of the songs are gems, some create a confusion as to why they are on this album, and some just make you cringe- or atleast go "wtf". Which is fine, but if not even half the songs fall under the first category out of 30 songs, then it's a problem.

These were written by... taylor?

The lyrics omfg. I'm not going to be one of those ppl who go around saying that the lyrics sounded like an emo middle schooler (I've heard this take) BUT again, some songs have lyrics that make you question how taylor, someone who wrote the albums folklore and evermore, and many great songs like would've, could've, should've, story of us, all too well, fearless, white horse, dbatc, daylight, red... I could keep going tbh, produced...this.

It was very weird to listen to the words "tattooed golden retriever" from someone who wrote "handsome, you're a mansion with a view" (also who the FUCK is calling matty healy that??)

A very important part of taylor's music is how it is focused on the lyrics. The music itself isn't the most special, or different, in most of her songs, but what makes them (and her) special is her songwriting. However, from her songwriting going from commonly used phrases and idioms to make them tell a story, use a wide range of vocabulary, heavily using personification, allusion, transferred epithet, and a few other figures of speech that she uses in her songs to make elements such as colours, for example, tell a story, in a way it seemed effortless and fit perfectly, to this... now it feels like she's trying to do that, but that's it. She's TRYING, and it's not yielding results, and seems more like a try hard "poet" rather than... whatever she was going for. The songs are filled with self-satisfied "clever" metaphors that are being reused and recycled over and over. This is not what ppl meant when they asked you to be more environmentally friendly, taylor.

Final thoughts I guess?

While the songs are basically only an empty shell of something that taylor used to make, the album isn't all bad. Some of the songs do sound good and go well with taylor's voice (aaron dessner, the fucking legend you are) and are quite enjoyable, if not as memorable as her other songs.

There are songs such as the prophecy, clara bow, so long, london, loml, guilty as sin?, etc., that really do come through and honestly I really like them.

I do feel that the album can grow on people, but it's just... not the best. Like she says so much, and not to quote taylor swift, but genuinely the only thing in my head right now is "the more you say, the less I know".

Overall, the album is fine, but not in taylor swift standards. It's just... not bad, with some exceptions.

the eras tour tiktoks on my fyp make me think that California is just SCREAMING in the statehouse right now, crying hysterically every time a he finds out what surprise song taylor sang in a different state

online it says that taylor swift isnt coming to california till August so he’s just screaming and crying and throwing up because he’s losing all his favorite songs.

like she sang “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” in Nashville, TN last night and California has had to be restrained 7 times from strangling him. “You already got Dolly Parton, I deserve Taylor!” “Go back to Twitter, liberal” etc. etc.

like alaska has had to pick california up (texas has been asked to help, but he laughs his ass off every time california has a freak out and alaska is the only other state bigger than cali) so many times these last few months because california will try and strangle another state if he finds out taylor sang one of his favorite songs while on tour there

alaska, when asked by florida to comment on how holding a feral california back from killing his fellow states is, stated: “it’s like fighting 10 of his bears at once, and they’re all clawing at your arms and kicking and punching their way to their prey, and you’re the prey”

this terrified half of the other states

florida is reveling in the chaos but he was also almost maimed by california cuz taylor preformed “The Great War” in Tampa

safe to say it’s been a rough few months in the statehouse and it will continue to be terrible for all of the states until her tour ends

This is basiclly all the headcanons i have been compiling (because i have a bit of an art block and i wanted to share something) it is not orginized and might have grammer mistakes in it, a lot of these are based on my person expieriences;

Lark and Sparrow are left handed

Grant definitly has saint bernard on a playlist somewhere (also i deserve to bleed)

Scary got her ears pierced at claires, she fortunetly somehow avoided getting an infection

Normal had a phase where he would say goodmorning to literaly everyone on the street

Ron has grey eyes, just grey

Lark and Autumn got along when he got older, they both have angry but somehow chill vibes, like quiet anger

Kid henry was a lot like lark amd sparrow both look and personality wise (just chaotic feral goblin)

Sparrow is pissed about cigareetes and what they do to the planet (he also used to yell at people who littered)

All the oak garcias are autistic and adhd

The close/fosters have adhd

And ron is autistic

There are many cold cups of liquids and half finished snacks left around the oak household, cuz adhd can be a bitch

Glenn searches through wikipedia sometimes when high, he also really liked speaking random facts as a kid

Nick has to constantly stop himself from making yo mama and dirty jokes (both as a kid and as an adult) (he got it from Glenn)

Scary doesn't wear nailpolish because she sucks at putting it on and then she is even more annoyed at it chipping constantly, so she just doesn't, link has never aplied nailpolish but he is weirdly good at it when he does, normal has put nailpolish on before but doesn't like it, it just has a weird feeling on his nails, taylor used to paint his moms nails as a kid, he is decant at it, he doesn't wear nailpolish as it would just be a bother in a survival situation, hermie wears nail polish sometimes, only when it fits the role tho, but he likes it

Ron flinches when somebody moves suddenly

Taylor still wears a frienship bracelet that an old friend got him, they lost contact long ago but they used to be best friends

Ron childhood home basiclly didn't have any family pictures, or any decorations in general

Ron doesn't have many pictures from his childhood

Ron burns easily (being half welsh has its minuses)

Hermie wears funky socks, either them or plain white ones

Nick is the more responsible parent compared to Cassandra

Scam likely has secret compartments in their shoes (also he uses he/they pronouns)

Ron now knows there are other musicals than cats, because Terry is a theatre kid and has shown him a few of them (they go to musicals as a family but Terry also just listens to the music) (i think ron would like "the guy that didn't like musicals" musical and other starkid shows)

After Terrys and Scaryies relashonship gets better they would watch beetlejuice together

Normal has never won a throphy (he got a couple particypation trophies and such but never a full blown throephy)

Hero had both a horse girl and a dinasour phase

Henry sometimes talks in elvish (usually by accident, either when really tired, really hurt or really angry, he sometimes even swears in it)

Lark and Sparrow know a little bit of Elvish, because Henry and Autumn taught them, they also learn more about their forgotten realms side of the family from here (the first words they learn are curses)

Scary listens to true crime

Ron still doesn't get birthday math (like are you that age? Are you turning that age? How does it work?)

Lark and Sparrow once wanted a trapeze for a birthday (to the relife of their parents and practicly everyone) they changed it to a lego sets

The season one oaks have a compost in their garden

Lark started smoking to piss of Henry because it is bad for the invierment

Link has a weighted blanket

Henry never learned how to read normal clocks, he can only read digital ones, and the forgoten realms clocks

Hermie vocal stims a lot of musical lyrics

So this is the list I'm working on atm. I have no idea what order they will come in as I just work on whatever takes my fancy and sometimes a new idea comes in and takes over - which is what happened with Treacherous and Is It Over Now? As I've said before, I get very little time for writing, sometimes as little as 2 hours a week, so I do what I can. Luckily, I have the amazingly supportive @emmainldn cheering me on constantly, otherwise I'd probably never get anything written!

Haylor fics currently in the pipeline:

The Very First Night - about the first time they got together in March/April 2012. I started this before Treacherous but it's got similar vibes, so might end up taking a backseat for a while as I used a lot of my ideas for it in Treacherous. I do have other ideas for it though so it will probably happen eventually. It's a bit more angsty than Treacherous as it goes a bit "rust that grew between telephones-y" later on.

Just A Little Bit of Your Heart - Sequel to Midnight, late 2014ish. Harry wants to be with Taylor properly but she's keeping him at arms length and he's not very good at communicating. Angst and possibly no/little smut which is weird for me! This is almost complete and will probably be posted first.

Cruel Summer (working title) - Summer 2016 (possibly, not 100% decided on the timeline). This one will be open/ongoing episodes/hook ups and is literally just an excuse to write smut whenever I want without having to think of a proper storyline.

A Million Little Times - this is the big boy. Long series fic where Taylor is with John when they meet but Harry falls for her anyway. Over the years they hurt each other a million little times but they can't seem to stay away from each other. This will be split into two halves and I'm not posting until the first half is nearly done, so don't expect it any time soon, but if I go quiet, I'm probably working on this. I'm pretty sure it will be worth the wait.

Passports in Footwells - Break up fic Dec 2012/Jan 2013 - Chronicals the little mistakes and misunderstandings that leads to them breaking up even though they still love each other. Heated arguments, full angst, almost definitely some smut too. This one is only a couple of sentences long atm but I can see it zooming past the others cuz I'm really excited for it. I like writing pain.

Vigilante Shit - Current Harry watching a TikTok of Taylor performing Vigilante Shit at Eras. Very short but about finished, I've only not posted this because it's so short and I'm wondering if I need to add something else or make it part of a series or something.

5 Reasons Matty Healy Hates Harry Styles and 1 Reason He Doesn't - haylor from an outsiders perspective looking in. A very jealous outsiders perspective. Inspired by an incredibly interesting 1 hour video essay I watched about Matty having one-sided beef with Harry Styles. And Robbers by The 1975. I'm well aware noone asked for this fic but the idea came to me practically half-formed one day. 😂

I Can See You - Vmas hook up! - Someone suggested this the other day, but there is a scene in A Million Little Times which I think is set at the vmas so might include it in that...if not though I will write this at some point because 🔥🔥🔥.

My blorbo of all time probably. No character has given me brainrot and writing inspiration the way he does and likely no character ever will. This post sums up his appeal perfectly

2) Lan Wangji from Mo Dao Zu Shi

My newest blorbo from my most recently joined fandom. What can I say, I’m a sucker for incredibly queer competent stoic prob neurodivergent men that are absolutely insane about one person. When I watch the MDZS donghua, I literally have to pause every time he comes on the screen just so I can stare at him a bit, so you could say I’m a bit obsessed

3) Kim Theerapanyakul from KinnPorsche

He’s this weird little guy that is simultaneously the most competent character in the show and the biggest cringe-fail loser. He looks so suave and cool on the surface with his whole Taylor Swift by day mafia prince detective by night thing but then you realize he’s actually a complete nerd with a whole ass literal murder conspiracy board hidden behind a giant selfie portrait of himself and I love him so much (also he’s played by Jeff Satur, who makes my aesthetic attraction senses go haywire, but that’s neither here nor there)

4) Kyuzo from Samurai 7

My 1st fictional crush and prob my earliest blorbo. My type in favorite fictional male character (hypercompetent stoic character that doesn’t talk much with bonus points for iconic hair) can 100% be attributed to him. His story was the earliest villain redemption arc I can remember encountering in media (this was the 1st anime I ever watched so I was like 4 or 5 when I 1st saw this guy) and so for me I always think of him when I see people talking about iconic redemption arcs (sorry Zuko)

5) Midorima Shintarou from Kuroko no Basket

At the peak of my high school sports anime phase, this guy was my favorite. He’s tall, he’s green, he’s an anime glasses character™️, he’s tsundere, he’s prissy, he’s weird af, he’s got one of the most bonkers basketball skills ever, and he’s even an astrology girlie. What’s not to love

6) Merlin from BBC Merlin

BBC Merlin is the fandom that sucked me in at a time where I thought I was growing out of fandom and fanfic (spoiler alert: I very much was not) and it’s responsible for completely changing my relationship with fandom into something much more intense than it was previously. And it’s all thanks to this funky skinny wizard man who for whatever reason captivated me enough that I read hundreds of thousands of fan-created words about him for nearly a year and a half

7) Jasnah Kholin from The Stormlight Archive

She’s one of the rare canonically asexual female characters, and she’s even from a major fantasy book series too! I fixated on this character long before I knew I was ace (though perhaps that should’ve been a clue lol), mostly because I just thought she was so cool and I found her whole “why would I want a relationship when I’m busy with all this shit to study” attitude so relatable

8) Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender

I wanted to be her so badly when I was a kid y’all have no idea. She just made such an impression on me because she’s so cool and so strong but also unapologetically and obviously feminine and that really struck a chord with young me and is prob the reason why I didn’t really have a “not like the other girls” phase cuz she was revolutionary for little me’s idea of how a “girl” can be. To this day she is the character that to me has the coolest powers ever

9) Cassandra of Troy from Greek Mythology

It’s prob weird to include her but I was a real greek mythology girlie (in that I was into it before Percy Jackson came out) and Cassandra has always my favorite. The tragedy of her story has always been very appealing to me and upsettingly relatable in a lot of ways

10) Kym Ladell from Purple Hyacinth

Ms. Kym one of those characters that’s ostensibly the comedic relief except nope she’s hiding oceans of pain under her smile. She’s got trauma and a tragic backstory that she hides from the rest of the main characters in one of the strongest “this is fine” performances you’ve ever seen

okay ngl i never knew who matty healy was until all of this and all the info you give on your blog - i don’t understand why taylor is associated with him. like i still think i’m in half denial about what exactly they are but it’s still bad that they’re even around each other so it honestly doesn’t matter much what they are cuz it’s still yikes! idk i just feel so icky about all of this cuz i don’t want to believe that taylor’s associating with him but she is so it’s yikes on her part and we should hold her accountable. also i think the whole speak now announcement is screwing with my feelings because i absolutely love this album and i do not want this whole thing to overshadow that so i feel like i’m pushing out the bad to focus on the good which i know i should not do completely. but yeah lol that got ranty but all in all - i genuinely don’t understand how she can associate herself with him!

Darius and Eberwolf:

-Eber is proud of Salem no matter how…macabre he acts.

-Salem has managed to befriend Viney, Jerbo, and Barcus. They’re a squad

-Eber LOVES Salem’s new friends and Darius thinks they’d be a good influence on him

-Just as he does with Hunter, Darius will protect him with his life

While we wait for official S3 content, I’ve decided to drop another Portwell analysis/meta cuz I’ve got time on my hands this weekend. LOL. 😅 It’s kinda short, so enjoy! (I’ve tried my best to make these GIFs as consistent as possible but I just gave up at the end lmaooo. At least I tried. 🤷🏽‍♀️)

In each of the moments above, both Gina and EJ share a second or two (or more) of complete silence. No words. Just the two of them. All private, intimate moments b/t Team Wonderstudies.🥰 For a few seconds, on multiple occasions, EJ and Gina just relish the silence b/t them. This silence has actually been a pretty consistent moment b/t Gina and EJ since S1. In our first sneak peek into S3, the first scene we see b/t Portwell is EJ just enjoying the view before his eyes by seeing Gina happy and excited at camp. Then, after a bit of dialogue, Gina smiles and stares at EJ b/c she’s happy to see him so excited about the surprise he has planned/possibly hinted at. Most of these silent moments are a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it type of scene, since it happens so quickly, but it’s there. Sometimes, when words fail them, or they’ve said all they needed to say, EJ and Gina just take a moment to process and/or relish in the silence. I deff think S3 will be the season of EJ and Gina falling in love with e/o because of these small, silent moments b/t them. Sometimes, when you’re in love with someone, or falling in love, the silence is enough to express what words cannot.😊 It seems to me Gina and EJ figured that out as early as 1.10. Who’s to say S3 won’t be more of these moments above? The only difference would be Gina and EJ making less of a realization about the other, and more of a self-realization of falling in love.🤔

Last note, I wanna talk about this severely underrated Portwell moment in 1.04:

Tho EJ and Gina are still deep in their 1.0 selves at this point, I'm gonna take Gina's line above as foreshadowing for PW’s journey in S3. In my opinion, EJ and Gina have already started “thinking of the long game” by S1b by trying to redeem themselves and making amends with those they’ve wronged (1.06-1.10). Given how goal-oriented and ambitious EJ and Gina can be as individuals, and the fact that they don’t coast or half-heartedly do anything they’re passionate about, Gina’s line to EJ above seems really fitting for them. I have no doubt in my mind EJ and Gina will continue to “start thinking of the long game” by overcoming any obstacle S3 may throw their way. Also, part of the “long game” is thinking about one’s future, and like I’ve said before, I certainly think EJ and Gina will have a bright future, together (with plenty of bumps in the road like all relationships!). 😚

The only thing that "bothers" is how fans are trying to rewrite history, I feel so many people have lost the plot. Question is so clearly about Harry and some other songs that are about Joe and have been admittedly written for Joe are now being repurposed and several of the 1975 songs that have been speculated to be "all about Taylor" are actually very clearly about Gabby. And the Gabby part upsets me a bit more because people outside the fandom don't understand how much that man LOVED Gabby and it shows and it just feels a bit disrespectful. I wish people would let them build their story and shush with trying to force some past on them when all we know for sure is that they were friends. People are choosing to ignore everything Matty has said over the past years just to believe in some cringe Disney storyline that isn't even that beautiful because it implies cheating and shit like that. Why can't people accept this for what it is. They knew each other, may have had a little crush or whatever, moved in different directions and their paths crossed again. Done

I agree with you about the Joe and Gabby stuff. Gabby was his longest relationship. She knew and loved hun through it all. She was there to pick him up from rehab when he got out. She clearly impacted his life. You can’t erase that stuff.

I think we had a debate about “Question….?” A few days ago before Taylor even said what she said last night. We were saying how the second half of the song about “gender roles” and “politics” sounds a lot like Matty, even if the first half doesn’t. And 🔆anon, who is also a swiftie, pointed out that Taylor sometimes writes songs based on common themes from more than one relationship. So it could be PARTIALLY about Matty.

I’m into the idea only cuz, now that they’re together, it makes me just wonder if there were always moments of tension or unresolved feelings. Not in an “I need them to clear up the timeline” kinda way. Not at all. That’s their business. But, like, if you had two mutual friends and then you hear one day that they’re now together, wouldn’t you wonder if there was ever anything that lead up to this? Like they’ve crossed paths a few times and stuff. And Matty co-wrote on Midnights. It’s just a sweet thought that sometimes it’s the “right person wrong timing” thing. And, it’s rare that that same person comes around a second time when the time IS right.

Idk honestly. We’ll never know. I’m just happy for them both. I loved Gabby. FUCKIN ADORE TWIGS. and I believe 100% that Matty loved them too. Now he’s Happy with Taylor and that’s beautiful. I’m happy for him. That’s what matters in the end.

Hi! I hope you had a nice relaxing time with your family. Did you do anything fun? I meant to reply yesterday but I felt tired for once lol. I haven't had time to watch Poor Things yet but I definitely will this weekend! I'm also going to watch eras..I was supposed to tonight to get even more hyped for the album but my sister got tired. Omg do you like Schmigadoon? Did you watch Schmicago too? I think it's just a fun silly show and I love seeing if I know all the references. I love Beyonce's album so much..i think it has a lot of different sounds and I enjoy every song. I haven't heard Maggie's album yet but enjoyed Lizzy's and also Conan Gray's from last week and espresso is such a fun song. I did get tickets to the tour and we are going to be in the pit this time so maybe it will be more fun. This week, I'm playing Taylor of course and decided to start from Red and listen to the rest, but skipping 1989 since we just heard it and I don't think this album will be anything like it. She also made her own playlists I'm trying to make my way through, just because I think it's fun to hear songs from different albums sometimes. I can't believe we are already gonna hear it tonight! I'm so excited!!!

So when I saw the track lengths, it definitely made me more interested in some songs I wasn't at first. Especially Daddy I Love Him..which is apparently one of her longest songs ever. I honestly don't know what to expect from that song, cuz I don't know if I buy the Little Mermaid theory yet. Who's afraid of little old me was as well, and Taylor also wrote it herself, so I'm more interested in that cuz her solo songs are always so good. It made me more curious about my boy breaks his favorite toys too, which is the other solo song but I also always love her track threes. I also wonder if it has to do with Who's afraid of Virgina Woolf or not. Overall I was happy to see a mix of Aaron and Jack cuz I like both styles. The song lengths make me wonder if the album will be more similar to Speak Now, Red or Folklore and Evermore, since all the songs are pretty long. I love long songs so it would make me happy. So I think the ones I am most excited for are the title song, so long London, Florida, the Alchemy and Clara Bow, so I guess it didn't really change. What about you? For the bonus tracks, it's the Manuscript and the Black Dog so we will see if these become favorites. My sister and I are also gonna try to do a prelisten and first listen ranking so we can look back on the results. I think it's likely that Fortnight will be the single with the music video coming out on Friday so I'm excited for that since I always like the opening songs and I'm curious why the music video wouldn't come out the same time as the album.

I've been trying to keep up with everything. I think the aesthetic of the album has changed from academic department to a mystery with evidence police investigation to a court case. This is also something I'm curious about and if it will make more sense with the album. I think it's starting to make sense now. What do you think of the new lyrics? Which were your favorites? What songs do you think they are from? I really liked the first lyric about the eclipse and I think it might be from Clara Bow, and the one that says I wish I could unrecall how we almost had it all, since it reminds me of a mix of All Too Well or Cornelia Street. I think it could be from the title song or So Long London maybe? Not sure..possibly the manuscript if it's a bonus track. The others are nice too and I will have fun making guesses about which songs they're from with my sister. For Midnights, we got half right lol and with 1989. I love all of the lyrics so far and it just makes me more excited for the album..which I knew it would, after feeling not as much as I usually am for a Taylor album. It's okay if you don't reply before listening or right away if you're just taking the album in but I hope you have fun and I will be interested to see if we have some of the same favorites! hello!!! i loveeeed schmicadoon and schmicago — i think schmicadoon was like the perfect season 1 and i really loved how they played with a lot of musical theatre tropes, but i think that schmicago was more fun for me because pippin is up there for one of my favorite musicals and i had a blast spotting all the pippin nods/references! i'm already fighting the itch to rewatch it, but have been listening to the soundtrack all week. i haven't listened to the new conan yet but i need to — saving it for when i'm feeling better! have SO much fun on tour! i thought about getting tickets, especially since maisie is opening but conan/maisie is here the day before my mom's birthday and i'm not sure if we'll have plans (or if we'll be going out of town)!

i cannot believe the double album theorists were right!! so i guess we did have a midnightsy, 1989y, synth sounding album and a folklorey slower downed red-esque album! i'm still trying to figure out how i feel about this album; i have a lot of mixed feelings, and i think i need to do a few more listens, but wanted to reply to this first! i think first impression standouts are: but daddy i love him, down bad, loml, guilty as sin, i can do it with a broken heart, the black dog, the prophecy and the manuscript, but i haven't spent as much time with the second half of the album as i have the first, so i'll have to do some more relistening! i was able to listen to the first half of the album twice while waiting for the "2am announcement" then just fell asleep right after listening to the black dog. and then spent all of friday napping, but i'd try to stay up for a bit to hydrate, so i'd listen to like two songs at a time. not the most ideal way to listen to an album! covid really wiped me out. i'll probably relisten once i'm feeling ~ better better ~ and will post my thoughts on here when i do!

an update for you! i've been (re)watching a lot of old bootlegs while i've been sick this week: the light in the piazza, next to normal, pippin, and catch me if you can. and am having a bit of an aaron tveit resurgence, if you haven't seen that from my blog already 😭 i'm not sure what i'll watch next — if you have any suggestions? i feel like we've talked a lot about taylor and some about theatre, but i'm trying to remember your favorite musicals and am coming up blank!
