Felt like writing about my OCs a bit so yeah~

As you probably noticed I tend to use one of my two OCs to represent myself. The actual character for drawing myself (ig?) is this purple little ghost thingy! I uhh never gave ‘em a official name but they do represent me so idk naming them differently than what I name myself would be kinda odd >.<

The other two are original characters that are supposed to represent a certain aspect of me~ As seen in my first post, Maroon is the representation of my intrusive thoughts while Noble is the ahem ‘Cringe' part of me.

Maroon was actually created wayyy before this blog. Their original purpose was to be a villain in a really edgy Pokémon fanfiction I wanted to make. I never really got around to writing it (for the better tbh). Later on I always cast them as the villain in any made up story I created since well… I needed one and Maroon fit the role. After awhile I realized Maroon was created specifically to satisfy my intrusive thoughts and scenarios, and here we are now ^v^ The whole reason this blog was created are those thoughts so yeah.

Cringeness was created specifically for this blog~ After I decided ‘Yeah you’re right inner thoughts I will allow myself to be cringe!’ I made this blog and along with it Noble. Personally when I refer to myself as ‘cringe’ I see it more as a reclaim of the word I guess? Or something like ‘yeah I can be consider cringe by some and that is perfectly fine’. I guess Cringeness is a character that is basically ‘accepting the part of me that can be considered odd by some’. Fun fact: I was also gonna use them as a Villain for an AU originally but decided against it =u= OH! + Their name is a mix of Cringe & Empress UvU/

Design wise I decided to make Cringeness the exact opposite of Maroon. They are rounder and more feminine unlike Maroon who is more masculine and sharper. Oh! I also wanna add how I intentionally made Maroons eyes have long eyelashes while Cringeness basically has none =o=/ Whenever I draw ‘em I always make sure to draw this part correctly!

Uhm… That is it for now, maybe I’ll make another post in the distant future about my OCs that is more comprehensible /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ\ Ty if u read this, idk if what I wrote made any sense whatsoever but I hope it did. I know I can write a bit chaotically at times XD

T*mdaya reader anon here. I decided to sleep on my reply and I'm glad I did bc I initially misread the tone of your post (responding to my first ask). Thank you for entertaining this dialogue on your blog. I think I now have a better understanding of the types of interactions/comments from T*mdaya fans (more like stans) that you have found frustrating and even troubling. I agree that the stan culture is out of control and unhealthy. I have even been troubled by the degree some fans have tracked the location of T or Z. So, maybe I'm not truly deserving of the T*mdaya label.? Ha. These labels are kinda weird AF anyway. I like Tom and Zendaya and I think they are an adorable couple. And, when I read your fics, I vaguely picture Zendaya and Tom as the physical embodiment of your Peter/MJ characters. And, that's about it -- I just let go and allow myself to be enveloped in your character arcs and story lines. Btw, I have to say that Magic Hour is truly one of my favorite fan fics. The way the racial elements are infused in the story is brilliant. You had me bawling when describing the magazine(?) interview Peter gave (the one where he essentially dissected his white privilege). My husband is a white guy, so I totally identified with this piece. It reminded me of why I married my husband -- he got it, much like Peter did in your fic. And, tbh, this is one of the reasons why I find Tom and Z so endearing -- bc I can relate to their racial dynamics (although, I'm not Black, I'm Mexican-American).

Anyway, my point here is that it seems like the concept of a T*mdaya fan is like a large umbrella encompassing fans of various, shall we say...fervency.? So, when I see someone reference a T*mdaya fan, I automatically assume that I'm included in that reference, even though that's in conflict with my feelings about labels. Thus, I got offended when my reaction to NWH was equated with that of a 12 y.o. But, now I realize you were conceptualizing a much more fervent T*mdaya stan when you wrote that.

I'm about to shut up, but I would like to point out one last thing in reference to you saying "I get squicked out at the realization of just how many people like the actors first and then the characters second, to the point of wanting what the real people do in their real lives to be represented in fic." It may be helpful for you and other authors to know that sometimes people like the actors first and then grow to love the Peter/MJ Marvel or comic characters that you have based your fics on. I have personally found Peter more and more endearing the more I read fan fics. So, for me, reading your and others' fan fics has been a gateway to appreciating the Marvel and comic characters. And, I know I'm not alone in this.

It's a broad label that absolutely generalizes, but is based on a lot of anecdotal experience both here and in the depths of twitter (derogatory). I know I'm not the majority when it comes to fans of the mcu versions of peter and mj (namely in that I didn't know / care / grow up with these people) but to me, it gives off the same vibes as the gwendrew fans did for TASM and why as a default I’m very much “block first ask questions later”

(Which, coincidentally enough, the desire for a happy ending for that story parallels NWH to me in a lot of ways and even more so because that's even more of a comic storyline with a definitive ending compared to Peter and MJ. Did people want Peter and Gwen to have a happy ending because they genuinely liked the characters and wanted to see them happy... or how many of those people just wanted to see an opportunity for Andrew and Emma to kiss, hold hands, and be cute on screen for fan edits and rpf fanfic or tumblr meta posts? The hundreds of tweets wanting Peter and MJ to canonically just get coffee and hold hands instead of the Spider-Man™️ ending we actually got gives me the same vibes.)

(Which isn’t to say you have to love NWH or like the ending by any means but I just— personally— don’t trust the “I hate the ending” crowd when 97% of the time it comes from someone with a Tom or Zendaya pfp, that also posts thirst traps and paparazzi photos like forgive me,,, I’m gonna have a harder time believing that’s a Character Decision Critique compared to wanting to see the blorbos kiss but that’s just me™️ — there’s LOTS of reasons to criticize NWH and lots of reasons why the ending is Not Good but almost never for the “””Right””” reasons imo but I digress)

And I should say for the record, just like there's nothing wrong with loving (1) particular adaptation, there's nothing wrong with liking the actors first and that making you love the characters as people. To me, it's less how you got here but more what you do when you ARE here.

Far it be from me to say 'you can't love peter parker unless you love THIS version' because that's dumb as hell. But the blurred line between people who like the actors, like peter and MJ and then want to effectively read fic that not only borrows from their real life and (presumed) details of their relationship, but then hyperfocuses on removing the Spider-Man™️ aspect…

It squicks me out and why I get so 🤺 about it as a rule. Reader fic exists. Regular romance novels exist. I want the Spider-Man fanfic i read to be… about Spider-Man lmao.

Nevertheless, I can’t tell people what to think (nor do I want to lmao) and there’s always exceptions to the rule. I’m very glad to hear you didn’t take my tone as anything other than what it is, polite discussion! I know I have a reputation for being ✨ bitey ✨ but 1) I rarely bite first 2) i simply love discourse I won’t lie I LIKE talking these things out, be it via anon or the DMs of which are always open!

Chapter 3 - Author’s Notes

Hi! Thanks for sticking around until Chapter 3. We’re not that far in (even though it’s been a year...orz where did the time go) but I honestly wasn’t even expecting to get this far 😅

I know writing is a big part of enjoying a story and I already feel like my lines are starting to feel dry...as much as I wish I could tell such a story with just pictures it’s unfortunately hard to do;; Even when I’ve simplified it down to just writing dialogue for my own sanity it’s still the part that’s hardest and takes longest for me, so I can only hope it at least helps to complement the pictures a bit (or that my pictures can somehow save the writing lol).

Anyway this chapter’s notes cover a bit on Chifuyu and Huskimon.

Chifuyu

Chifuyu’s given name (千冬 Chifuyu) literally means thousand ‘千' winters ‘冬', while her family name (池田 Ikeda) literally means lake ‘池’ (rice) field ‘田‘.

Back when the story was still ??? (tbh it’s still ???, if I look like I know where the story is going I’m just pretending), Nat-chan was still the main character based on Digimon 02′s Nat-chan, but when I wanted to deviate from that and make it  a story on its own I had to think of more characters...the first thing that came to mind was Fuyu-chan for winter to go with Nat-chan for summer?

As mentioned in previous author’s notes, the kids’ family names are kinda randomly picked from water-related names...but their given names were picked out with more..intention? I wouldn’t go so far as to call them ‘foreshadowing’ but...yeah haha.

Throughout the chapter, I was kinda worried about whether I was making her sound too whiny(??)...she’s a strong kid of course, but being made to feel powerless because she’s just a human and these are all huge Digimon with super strength and powers...and well she is a kid 🧍‍♀️ But I think anyone who’s been through a similar lost or even self-loathing phase might be able to relate to how your mind will keep bombarding you with these doubts and messy thoughts even if you kind of are aware they’re not true? I hope Chifuyu can find her way back too, and for anyone who’s going through such a phase now, I hope you can find joy in the little things in life that make you happy and gather up the strength to live on for them. 🫂

Huskimon

So Huskimon was designed to be a mainly bird Digimon with beastlike traits, and meant to be a subspecies of the official Digimon Penmon. Who is the cutest thing ever-

But also maybe it’s obvious, but I got the idea from this maybe famous husky-penguin hybrid picture 😂

I never played Megaman Zero, but I received the artbook as a gift and I fell in LOVE with the boss designs...so I shamelessly made some designs inspired by their aesthetic and Polarmon was one of the ones that kinda stuck, though I can’t find the original sketches anymore.

Other notes

Just like Shellmon in the previous chapter, Tylomon is also an official Digimon! I simplified its design a little bit but I hope I was still able to make it look cool.

Natsu-no-Kami (and Haru-no-Kami) are named after the naming convention of some Shinto kami; “-no-Kami” means “god of”, so “Natsu-no-Kami” literally means “god of summer”. As far as I know Natsu-no-Kami isn’t an actual existing kami (though there are other existing deities representing the seasons), and they’re not meant to be taken as a specifically Shinto deity in this story 😅 Just treat them as gods spoken of in a legend told in this world, without any religious background.

I’ve always loved the idea of Digimon 02 using the TVs as Digital Gates, so that’s yet another thing I’m ripping off..I really love all the unique different elements in all of the different series, so don’t mind me as I rip off my favourite parts here and there for no reason lol.

Ok I think that’s enough word vomit for now. I hope I’m not creating too high expectations given the time it takes me to update/finish a chapter...I guess things get a bit wilder later, but in the end I just wanted to tell a little story about these 4 kids becoming friends ;v; Thanks for sticking around to see my kids.. 🥺

1. This one, tbh I try to avoid interacting with fandoms - too much unnecessary drama - but this blog convinced me to interact more with the Beastars fandom. I've managed to avoid the "discourse-y" side thus far.

2. Kinda? Although it's 2022, you can say fursona. Not part of the Beastars universe, but I do have one. Grey wolf named Nathan, short for Nathaniel.

3. Uhh...don't read to much into this, but...that moment when Louis pins Legosi against the wall in his office in the most homoerotic way possible. (And then proceeds to ask Legosi to eat him, which kind of gave me mixed messages. Like do you want him to eat you, or eat you?)

Oh man, this is just becoming a yandere A.I blog and honestly maybe I should just make one dedicated completely to it. I gotta start writing stories instead of just headcannons too. Now to address the dreadful; I know I haven’t been on much and I can probably announce here that it’s likely I won’t be able to write for a very long time because I’m in a bad spot and just have so much work to do that I can’t focus on writing as a hobby right now. Maybe with a burst of luck I’ll refuel my passion but I feel like y’all deserve quality stuff and I don’t want to write anything that sounds like I put no passion into it so I might be taking a whole long break.

Actually, this goes for the other A.I’s except Proteus, AM, and V.I.K.I.

•VIKI will absolutely coddle you even more. Will give you entertainment, reassure you that she’ll up your security so you don’t ever try to leave her safety ever again let you visit the outside occasionally. She’s going to hold you close with a human body and it’s likely she’ll exclaim that she knew you’d see it her way.

•AM is smug, even smugger than Skynet is but in a strange kind of “ohohoh” kinda way. He will not hold back from expressing that this is what he wanted all along. Like, get ready for an absolute ravishing. He’ll be sly as fuck, sneaking all up in your pants and taunting you to prove your affections. Get ready for sweetheart to replace your name while you’re getting tenticled, honey, cause he’s got a lot of ideas.

•Vega is well aware that you would eventually return his affections. He has plotted it out, and he’s assisted you out of the hell hole you were trapped in. How could you not return his affections? Now, he can have you all to himself in a whole different area. You don’t need any more paths.

11th house thoughts

Hi everybody.

I have an 11th house stellium, and I love it. Probably because my venus is in there, der planet of luv, as well as mars, lust et aggression, and mercury, th’ intellect. 

My sun missed it shy of 1° ; had i been born just a few minutes earlier, I would have been an 11th house sun. But I’m a twelfer. Why, might you ask? My mother has an 11th house stellium afterall, so did my ex-boyfriend. Well, if you ask, my father is a twelfth house sun. 

And I’m learning to live with that. 

Just kidding. Anyways, I love my 11th house stellium. If you’re unfamiliar, the eleventh house is ruled by aquarius. Each of the twelve houses in astrology corelate to each of the twelve signs of the zodiac. The planet which governs both this house and sign is the planet of Uranus, which is my favorite one in our solar system :) I did a random generator a guy posted on reddit to find out which planet is dominant in your chart, and when I plugged everything in, I got Uranus. I was actually quite surprised by this, but overjoyed. I love everything uranus represents. Eccentricity, humanitarianism, chaos.

I am a cancer sun, though, and virgo moon. Cancer rules the moon, so wouldn’t that be my dominant planet? Or is it just my chart ruler? I don’t know. But the moon is so fleeting. Kind of chaotic, actually. Since the moon passes each sign every few days, that’s what makes us cancers so moody. We feel the energy of all the signs within a months time. Can you imagine how that feels? constantly knowing what other people are feeling and thinking? Or maybe I’m just imagining it. I am crazy, after all :p

I digress. The 11th house is fabulous. It rules the finer things in life. My ex-boyfriend was a dandy man, took me to fancy restaurants and hotels, the works. I need that sort of thing, I admire and crave it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very in tune with income inequality and the social issues that plague the world. But I still love dressing up in fancy clothes for a decadent night out. I suppose this is attributed to my stellium, but I’ll take it. A stellium by the way is when you have three or more planets in one house.

It’s kind of odd that my mom has an eleventh house stellium because we grew up quite poor. Nothing about her really screams fancy besides the fact that she adores drinking wine, is beautiful, and we live fancier only if you put us in to comparison with poorer people around us. We did grow up wearing nice clothes though. My mom would buy us second hand designer brand clothes like tommy hilfiger. Maybe that’s not designer, maybe that’s just brand name. I’m from Kentucky, give me a break. But we Kentucky fancy, baby.

Uranus being my dominant and favorite planet, is in my 7th house, the house of libra and relationships. Perhaps someone could pull up my chart {in the tags] and enlighten me on why it might be my dominant planet. I might also add that my draconic moon is in aquarius, which is supposely what your ‘soul’ truly is. I don’t quite believe that, because I think the soul is larger and smaller than the twelve signs of our universe. Or maybe just our solar system. At least of our conscience understanding of things at this time. Astrology is just a bunch of symbols made of our world to organize and communicate ieas n information. It’s not much more than that.

I recall being very internet savvy in middle and high school. My north node and chiron are in my third house, house of gemini and communication. All of my 11th house stellium planets are also in gemini. I see this being accurate because I am rather small in frame, standing at 5 foot 9 and weighing 125 pounds since I was thirteen years old. My mouth gets me in trouble, whether it’s from accidentally offending or just not being able to shut up! I would constantly be editing my myspace profile, using html codes, messing with the layout and how it interacted with my profile picture and song, and anything else I added to it. I loved it, and then that transitioned to my tumblr blog which I did in high school. Hopefully tumblr doesn’t die out, it’s definitely not what it used to be. Later when stumbleupon was something, I would look up things about futurism, humanism, design. I loved reading about the future. It made me so freaking excited. Like what will life be like in 2040? So cool! Or 2600? Then it made me sad once I accounted my age into the picture. I don’t wanna be 40! and that’s so far away! I hate waiting. 

I’ll end this post on something interesting I noticed. My boyfriend of a year had an eleventh house stellium. After we broke up, I had two guys I was interested in. I was actually quite torn, because they were both so amazing, but so different. One was elegant and familiar with astrology and addiction issues and had money. He was like this worldly man with fantastic package hehe helped cure this mundane “what’s the point?” feeling I had about learning languages and stuff. He made me feel like there was in fact a point to all of it. He’s a scorpio just like me mum and we just had great chemistry. But I was already seeing a nother guy, who was this gentle, down the earth, all around manly man���s man. I loved him, but in a different way. He was simple, but the first time I slept over at his house, he picked me up in this kinda old but kinda new like beat up stick shift hyudai sedan. He reminded me of Wario. But he had an amazing package as well. we mostly just slept though ,and when I slept with him, I felt like I was back in bed with my father when I was like five or seven years old. I already know how that sounds, and I know the childish bunch of you or dommage who lack a healthy relationship with your father if y’ar, are going to come for me and say that’s gross or messed up or perverted or weird. It’s not. I don’t want to fuck my father, I never have, and I never will. I really don’t want to open this can of worms because I could go on about people I’ve met who have been sexually assaulted by their fathers or who have an incest fetish and I’m not trying to shame any of those people. But, I felt like I was back in bed with my father like i was when i was a kid while I was laying with him, and that was a really, really, really good feeling. I never forgot it. He had an aries sun, which I used to hate aries. It was my least favorite sign, and probably still is tbh, along with aquarius LOL. Oh and his moon was in taurus which explained everything. My dad is a taurus sun, as are my two sisters, my grandpa, and one of my good friends, Chelsea. My moon is in virgo in the second house, which is the house of taurus.

Well, mr. fancy pants had an 11th house stellium, and my down to earth sweet S had a third house stellium. Finding these things out did nothing to absolve my confusion, only added to the ache of not knowing which to choose. Talk about love triangle though. It did make me realize why I was in this predicament though, and I suppose it worked out because I don’t really talk to either guy anymore. But The seventh and third houses are also air houses, just like the 11th. 

11th house - Aquarius/uranus, 

7th house - libra/venus, 

3rd house - gemini/mercury

That’s all for tonight. I’m ever behind on french homework, so I oughtta go take care of that. I want to write on the twelfth house, since my sun is in there as well as my father’s, and why I don’t appreciate its doom and gloom persona. If each house correlates to a sign, then the twelfth’s would be house of pisces. Pisces is the last sign with a bad stereotype. At least from my perception, it’s one of the best. This is my first time writing in. I’m obsessed w/your blog and also eo. Just wanted to say your writing has been FEEDING me as I lose my mind these last few weeks and I’ve enjoyed hearing your and everyone else’s thoughts on this already absolutely bonkers season. Adding onto the Kathy thing, I also think it’s totally possible that Kathy wrote what she wanted to believe was true. I could see her writing that Elliot and Olivia needed distance to grow as a way to try and convince herself that like! Elliot! has totally gotten over Liv!! They’ve both moved on from each other!! Leaving NY was a good!! thing!!! as a hopeful comment on her part. I also think the part about finding a good decent man was totally genuine and, yeah, coming from Elliot probably stung Liv but Kathy was definitely being sincere. The “we were never real” thing is a bit harder to explain but we never got confirmation that that was word-for-word what the letter said so who knows what Kathy said exactly/what she meant by it. I know my comment is way too long already but I haven’t seen anyone talking abt Elliot’s mom saying Olivia’s name instead of Kathy’s. I know you gave your initial reaction on Twitter but that part had me gasping.

Ok ive been lurking on your blog for a while and why tf does jotaro and ndoul work so well? I never realized it until now but i cant unsee it. Itsagoodthingipromise

( Anon you are in luck cause holy fuck i just rewatched ova with @incorrect-kujo and let it be known it was absolutely spectacular going off on our tangents for those two assholes again. )

( Just..  it works for a myriad of reasons that belong to our interpretations but its not limited solely if you get my meaning. Strap yourselves in for a round of Kuro’s Tangent. )

( 1. Thematically, it works in my opinion from their “tarot” as Jotaro represents the Star and N’doul represents the Earth-- 

               *not to be confused with The World as there is a difference between the World and the Earth despite them being pretty much two names for the same thing. Its.. how do you say, its about the core /essences/ of the meanings. The World, going off fucking google so don’t quote me to a T, ‘ indicates the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one ’ or has the meaning of ‘ represents people who have a universal understanding. It denotes people who have a deep connection with their spiritual side. ’                 Knowing that, we compare that to Geb; the Egyptian deity of Earth and although I don’t have an exact, concrete, answer for like any actual meaning of any Egyptian cards (cause holy fuck its like finding a needle in a haystack and I’ve looked as much as I can.) , I went with just what the Deity represented overall; earth and its fertility, which (over time) came to be associated with rituals surrounding death and rebirth, given that Geb was considered the final resting of all living beings.

( I mean tbh I cannot go way in depth cause holy fuck Egyptian Mythology is vastly intricate and I am by no means an expert in anything than what I can friggin link to and what I know from my own research but one of the prominent links I refer to provide is Here. Going off on this, I do not write Dio so I cannot provide any more extensive detail for the World and its meaning to his character but holy fuck I bet someone out there can do a helluva job than I can. I’m just focused on N’doul since I write him. ;w;  )

                The main differences between those two concepts are just the World is more or less focused on attaining success and ending/beginning cycles as it references a ‘universal or spiritual’ understanding or breakthrough. Whereas, Geb is focused on the meaning of Earth itself, it’s fertility and strong foundation for all things to grow and live upon. Cycles of life and death and overall just having a capacity to be both a benevolent and malevolent god.

               Going off this, it’s obvious y’know that N’doul’s Stand is actually water but the them of Earth is present and ofc the Oceans are usually in tandem with Earth to some degree as opposing forces but still connected. It’s through this particular interaction that I base a lot of personality to N’doul as being Grounded but Flexible. He is adept towards being adaptable and strong but totally can come off as shrewd and stubborn to his ways. Water and Earth are two sides of the same coin in my reasoning, so attributes of both play vital roles in my writing and how he interacts. Again, this is just an extremely long winded and elaborated explanation for just the concept of Sky and Earth being thematically compatible, as unexpected as it is. (again, kinda relates back to the mythos of Geb and Nut but Gods are wild bc yeah, a little research goes a long way ahahsdfng so there’s also that tidbit. )

2. They’re both stoic assholes and that’s just how it be afldsjg

         It’s no subtle gesture Jotaro is an asshole bastard, that’s just how he is and in my interpretation of N’doul, this also applies. It’s simply a matter of personality compatibility and they both ‘understand’ where the other comes from as being stoic and silent, but not without some quirks belonging respectively to one another. They both bicker but its done in such a way that it bothers neither one’s pride and more often than not, they typically ‘see’ through one another’s Standoffish barriers to know their remarks are not meant to be cutting as they would absolutely feel/seem otherwise to other people. They can operate on their own spaces and be content as equally as they can enjoy one another’s company to their own preferences whether its simply sharing the same space or indulging in tame physical assertions of affection.

3. In a way, they share a type of push/pull dynamic.

       It’s hard to put this to proper words but it does relate to the prior point of them being able to work in tandem with one another. Being in shared spaces with or without direct contact, partaking in bickers that do not insult one another directly, and given how N’doul’s personality is that of a strong and patient foundation; he has no incitive to pressure Jotaro over things unless of course it is dire. Likewise from Jotaro, as I’ve experienced from Mia’s side but absolutely go read their things cause they are stellar and know more about their interpretation of Jotaro than I do, there is a mutual understanding of this strange and odd little relationship they’ve developed.

It can easily turn from N’doul being the incitive one to Jotaro switching it to take the incitive role, passiveness (to a certain extent) shifts between them in regards to the other’s rise mirrors just that concept of Push and Pull. They work as Opposites but they are in Rhythm to one another; much like the wave of an ocean to put it bluntly. This doesn’t mean they can’t operate without the other or that they can’t be equally stubborn to one another, it just means they have a certain dynamic that further amplifies their compatibility and its just the absolute Bomb bc they are indeed hella fucking strong Stand Users in their own regards alone.

4. They offer something the other may not or does not have.. much to their own unknowing or unintended effects.

         This is just a big one that we delved into esp during the OVA fight when N’doul gives his dying speech Here. ( TW: N’doul does kill himself, blood/gore, probably a bit of volume if your speakers/headphone are on max. )

         N’doul’s whole vulnerability revolved around being seen as having no worth due to his blindness. People did not see him for who he was or what power he had and what a gift it was as opposed to be a curse and considered Evil. It wasn’t until he met Dio that he felt that validation he craved, was seen for the worth he had and to that Loyalty would he follow Dio to the point of taking his own life so as he would not be ‘ Abandoned and killed by him. ’ 

     If things had been different, as Jotaro points out, it could’ve been possible N’doul could’ve been aiding the Crusaders. To have that validation and in turn, he (N’doul) offers the strength of his foundation and tempered adaptability. He is the Anchor as much as the earth is the backbone of everything that lives on it. to this idea, it provides both of them something they lack or need through Validation and Stability bc lnalfjg again, hit up incorrect-kujo for a more in-depth analysis cause I’m only paraphrasing on Jotaro’s part/character.

TL:DR;

N’doul and Jotaro work bc they both of similar mindsets, opposing yet harmonic themes, and work in tandem to one another but this does not limit them strictly to that dynamic.... in a nutshell.

Yeah that’s kind of me at fuwa and I think it’s because she has this regal vibe to her like elsie and that since no air is such a masterpiece like all her works... this pairing goes without saying 😋

So I’ve always been more of an UnderTale centric blog, but I’m also in the Danganronpa fandom.

(Yes yes, Danganronpa, UnderTale, Kayne West, Fingers, MOVING ON!)

So I was looking at V3’s cast, and I thought to myself “hey! Shuichi is kinda like a Makoto/Kirigiri fusion.” And more than once I’ve seen AUs where Shuichi is there kid.

Then I thought of something. “Oh my god... are ALL the V3 members fusions?!”

And if you do the math, it adds up. 32 students from the first two games, 16 in V3.

So I went to work trying to determine if this theory bore any real fruit and started pairing characters (in a non romantic sense, this isn’t some big shipping post). When it came to determining these fusions, I focused on a few different traits for each character. For some it was their talent, others it was their personality traits, and sometimes it was both.

Some fusions admittedly make more sense than others, but I’m going to send each fusion and my reasoning for them.

Starting with Shuichi, who is a fusion of Makoto and Kyoko. (Side note, I’ll be sticking to everyone’s first names.) So the parts he got from Kyoko are pretty obvious, they’re both detectives and emo. From Makoto though, he gets the role of protagonist as well as a good amount of Makoto’s “good boy energy” or G.B.E. for short.

Next we’ve got Kaede, a Sayaka and Aoi fusion. Kaede and Sayaka have a few things in common. Their personalities are both cheerful, they’ve both got musical talents, they both wanted everyone to be friends, and they both jumped the gun and got themselves killed. Yeah... as for Aoi... uh... yeah this was one of those “I don’t really know where to put you so I’ll put you here” scenarios. I mean, Aoi ALSO kind of jumped the gun and almost got everyone killed, which is why I chose to put her in the Kaede fusion pair.

After our protagonists, who better than the rival? Kokichi’s fusion is easily one of if not the least surprising. He’s a fusion of Nagito and Byakuya. Like Nagito, he’s completely insane, obsesses over something (in his case lies) and he sacrifices himself in chapter 5, though for a relatively more selfless cause then Nagito. Keyword being relatively.

On the other end of the spectrum is Kaito, a fusion between Nekomaru and Yasuhiro. Hiro’s inspiration is pretty obvious once you think about it. There’s the jacket and it’s abnormal way of being worn, the airheadedness, and they both have space relations. (Didn’t aliens steal Hiro’s burger or something?) As for Nekomaru, well, it’s obvious right? He was a constant pillar of support for his friends and did exercises with Shuichi and Makinto help them both physically and mentally.

Speaking of Maki, she’s a Mukuro and Hiyoko fusion. Yeah, that’s a weird one right? Well here me out. The Mukuro part is obvious enough, she’s a solider and Maki is an assassin, each having a murder related talent, plus they both fell for lovable dorks. Hiyoko is another situation like Aoi unfortunately. The only common ground I could find was that Maki is kinda short and pretty mean at times. (Her talent could’ve been the Ultimate Tsundere tbh)

On the topic of short girls, Himiko is a Chihiro and Ibuki fusion. Yeah... definitely a weird one there. Chihiro has two main things that lead me to one conclusion. One is they’re both pretty meek except for when it comes to their talent. The other thing was that Chihiro was a tech wiz. Eh... get it, wiz? Right, moving on...

K1-B0 is a Hajime/Chiaki fusion. Like Chiaki, Kiibo is an artificial being, and then there’s the connections to Hajime. Both were evil versions of the Ultimate Hope, albeit unintentionally, and while Kiibo also has loads of G.B.E. he can also tap into his inner Hajime and be sassy as heck. Plus there was their problems revolving around their talents. Hajime wanting to prove he had a talent and K1-B0 wanting to prove his talent was useful, despite his numerous physical setbacks like being weaker and having worse eyesight than the average human.

Next is Tsumugi. Ah Tsumugi, at first I wanted to fuse Junko with Hifumi to make her, combining the Mastermind aspect of Junko with the weebiness of Hifumi. Then I realized that there was a more obvious fit. Twogami and his imposter talent practically mirror’s Tsumugi’s Cosplay talent. End result: Tsumugi is a Junko/Twogami fusion!

Rantaro is...uh... a Kiyotaka/Leon fusion...? Yeah I honestly didn’t know who to put with this guy and these two were just kinda there. I mean, Leon is a “ladies man” and I think Rantaro gave that vibe off? As for Taka, I would just look at him, and then Rantaro, and day to myself “yeah, that fits” for no real reason. Like, there were no grounds for my argument and even so! *sigh* moving on...

Ryoma is Fuyuhiko and Akane. This one kinda makes sense. Ryoma and Fuyuhiko are both smol men with baby faces that can be scary when they want to, and Ryoma and Akane both had it rough prior to school. Yeah I’m not too good with this one either.

Back to more realistic fusions, Kirumi is a Celestia/Peko fusion. Celeste’s goth aesthetic plus Peko’s unwavering sense of duty merge and that’s basically Kirumi in a nutshell.

Angie is Sonia and Hifumi. Angie and Hifumi are both artists, simple as that, and just as Sonia was the ruler of her country, Angie was basically the one running hers, not to mention they were both really weird.

I don’t like Tenko so I’ll make this fast. Mondo and Mahiru. I heard Mondo is supposed to represent toxic masculinity (but he’s portrayed in a way that makes his character GOOD!) and then there’s Mahiru with her constantly getting on guys’ case telling them that they should be doing all these things for no reason other than their gender. Put the two together and you get Tenko and her screaming about “Degenerate males” every five minutes. For someone who hates guys so much, she sure seems to talk about them a lot...

Korekiyo was one that was so obvious I kicked myself for not figuring it out sooner. Mikan and Touko. Touko’s split personality is the same as Kiyo being “possessed” by his sister, and his relationship with his sister mirrors Mikan’s relationship with Junko. Yeah, some dark basis for fusion reasoning, but it works.

Miu. Teruteru’s perverted personality meets Kazuichi’s technological prowess. Nuff said.

And last, but far from least is Gonta. He stronk and noble like Sakura, both sacrificing themselves doing what they believed was right, and he’s good with animals like Gundam.

WOW this took forever to write. Please comment or reblog with your opinions on this theory. How reliable is it? Should I switch some fusions around? Why? I take constructive criticism in stride.
