YN Olivia Tomlinson, born on the 13th of April, 1994, is an English hair stylist and fashion influencer. She is also the founder of the fashion company, Styles Fashion.

YN was born and raised in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Her older brother is singer Louis Tomlinson. She was raised with Louis and four younger sisters: Charlotte, Félicité, and twins Phoebe and Daisy. Her parents divorced in 2011. YN has two younger siblings, twins Doris and Ernest, who were born in 2014, from her mother's relationship with Dan Deakin.

Like her brother, YN attended The Hayfield School and later on Doncaster College where she studies Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, which are both located in Doncaster.

YN began travelling with her brother, Louis and boyfriend, Harry on tour with their band One Direction when she 18 as the band's hair stylist and make up artist Lou Teasdale's assistant. She worked as Lou's assistant from 2013 until 2015, during their Take Me Home Tour, Where We Are Tour and On the Road Again Tour, and for the bands promotional appearances during those years.

In 2016, she collaborated with several fashion brands including ASOS, Adidas and Zara. Later in the year, YN debuted the collaborative clothing collection with Adidas, where her brother Louis and boyfriend Harry both attended.

In 2017, YN released her first book, Styles: Fashion By Me. The book includes over 50 different fashion outfits and styles. A year later in 2018, YN launched Styles Fashion, her own company and clothing line, including clothing items that she designed herself. In June 2019, alongside her sister Lottie, she released a collaboration collection with fashion brand In the Style.

YN began dating her brother's bandmate, Harry Styles, in 2011. The couples relationship was exposed after a photo was taken of them kissing, at Harry's childhood's friend party. Despite their relationship, it is still clear that Harry and Louis's friendship has remained strong.

Speculations began that the pair may have split in 2018 when YN did not attend Harry's Manchester or London dates during his Live On Tour show. The pair were not seen together until December 2018, when YN posted a photo on her Instagram of the pair at her family's home in Doncaster.

In 2019, Harry released his studio album Fine Line, where fans were quick to conclude that the couple did in fact split the previous year. The album is a mixture of happy and sad times that the couple experienced and Harry said in his interview with Zane Lowe "The times when I felt good and I felt happy, we're the happiest I've ever felt in my life, and the times I felt sad was the lowest I ever felt in my life". In the same interview, Harry also confirmed that the voice played at the end of the track Cherry is YN, which was from 2014 when she was trying to learn how to speak French.

YN has featured in some of Harry's music video's, including Lights Up, Watermelon Sugar, Adore You, Treat People with Kindness, As It Was, Late Night Talking and Daylight.

After the loss of her mother and sister, YN has been open about her anxiety and has since been an advocate for mental health and currently is an ambassador, alongside her sister Lottie, for the bereavement charity, Sue Ryder.

Following the announcement of her sister, Lottie's, pregnancy in 2022, YN launched a maternity clothing line, quoting in her interview "My sister begged me to start working on maternity clothes as soon as she found out she was pregnant...how could I say no?".

YN has joined Harry on his Love On Tour tour, from 2021-2023. Harry announced during one of his Wembley shows that he had proposed to YN at the venue that very same day. Despite being on a world tour, YN still used her platforms to work in partnership with brands, but most importantly, provide the fans with the updates they wanted.

The Chrimer: 2014, Formula Renault.

Charles' karting days are over: in 2014, he graduates to single-seaters.

Single-seaters are known to be difficult to master; their aerodynamics, light weights and powerful engines mean they're both incredibly fast and difficult to control. Charles makes the jump to the category with British racing team Fortec Motorsports. His signing gets announced in November 2013 for the upcoming season.

By this point, Charles has been working with manager Nicolas Todt (the son of a hugely influential Ferrari/FIA boss) for a couple years. Racing isn't cheap: Todt is instrumental in financing his move to single-seaters.

This was critical to the viability of Charles' career. In 2021, Toto Wolff estimated that a "good go-karting season costs €250,000, an F4 season €500,000, and an F3 season €1 million" while speaking about the difficulties young drivers aiming for F1 have.

The Leclercs' aren't able to drop that kind of money on racing: Pascale is a hairdresser, and Hervé works for the family business: a small plastics company.

In 2021, Lorenzo says (awkwardly translated into English):

 “Every year, in karting, we said to ourselves that it was the last season. Charles handled the pressure, knowing that if he didn’t have results, it was over, and that, even if he had results, we weren’t. not sure to continue. Hervé, his father, tried to make it run by all possible means. I was at the national level in karting. Being lucid, I saw that it would be impossible for me to go to F1. So I stopped, because the family bet was to find solutions at all costs for Charles to succeed. Because he, at 11, was already standing out from the crowd, with drivers like Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly."

And from Arthur in the same interview:

"At 14, I played my first full championship. But immediately we had to stop for three years, because for my father it was too expensive to support Charles and me at the same time."

In a 2021 stream, Arthur expands on the difficulties:

"With my father I never traveled once. He didn't have the money for Charles' karting or for me. He did not have the money to go & see Charles in the race, actually. We were staying at home and following Charles in the computer."

(As a note, Charles would work with his uncle once he reached F1 to sponsor Arthur's career.)

In classic Charles fashion, he tried to put a positive spin on it in a 2020 interview:

"I have learned that from my father, who quite often left me alone on the race weekend so that I grew up on my own. I am trying to do the same with Arthur and so far he is doing a great job!"

The Leclerc family has a complicated history with racing: Hervé actually comes from a very successful Monaco family. His stepfather, Charles Manni, was the founder of a local company that manufactures car parts. Here is Hervé showing his F3 car to his stepfather:

However... while Hervé and Thierry fell in love with racing, their father did not.

Thierry said:

"I often read that Charles comes from a modest family, but that's not true. We were the biggest employer in Monaco, but my father held on to a certain number of values. In the family, we do not write blank checks. He put limits on his participation, Hervé gave what he could and, at one point, we even found ourselves faced with an impasse. This is where Nicolas Todt intervened in 2011 to help us, under the leadership of Jules Bianchi. "

Once Charles' career appears to be in jeopardy, Jules-- Todt's first signed driver-- insists that they meet.

Todt is impressed by the karter, and steps in. Usually, a manager attempts to finance a driver through securing sponsorships; in Charles' case, Todt puts the money up himself.

In 2019, Todt says:

"I signed Charles at 14. He should have stopped karting because he ran out of money. I decided to help him. I introduced him to Ferrari a few years ago and today he drives there. And no one can say that he got there just like that: he's there because we did the job. For me, someone like Charles is my greatest pride, the fact that he went there and delivered."

Todt would later expand on this:

"I love finding future stars and helping them make their dreams come true. I am the only manager who does it that way, that is my specialty. It's easy to say: you have to do this, you have to do that. As long as it's not your own money, you can give advice. You can say 'buy this house'. But do you say: 'Buy this house, we make 50/50?' Then it's a completely different thing. If I believe in someone, then I invest. Of course, I also try to find sponsors who help me. But if I don't find sponsors, I'm the one who has to invest. I did that with Jules [Bianchi], I did it with Charles, and I do it with drivers who I think are special."

With Todt's support, Charles is able to compete in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Championship.

It is worth noting, though, that single-seaters weren't the only thing Charles learned to drive in 2014:

Charles starts his season off by picking his number... 17, which was also the number Jules was racing under in F1 at the time:

Charles starts the season strong. Charles manages to set a category track record at preseason testing: Kartcom's article summarizing the day was simply titled "Charles Leclerc leaves everyone in his trail in Barcelona".

Charles is quoted, saying:

"I don’t think the tests could have gone any better. It’s incredible being a rookie and setting the fastest overall time! We still have plenty of work to do, although I have learned a lot. Listening to the engineers is the key to making progress quickly. And although it’s nice to be quickest, it is still only testing. The races themselves will be a different matter."

Jules sends out his well wishes for Charles' first race in Imola:

And Charles returns it:

Charles might be a rookie, but he impresses his team enough to where they run him in another series concurrently.

Formula Scout would summarize the season:

Leclerc entered Formula Renault 2.0 for his rookie single-season season, embarking on the Alps series for Fortec Motorsports. He quickly became a frontrunner, making the podium at round two at Pau and then twice again at Spa. At Monza he won both races, and followed that with more podiums to secure second place in the championship behind third-year FR2.0 racer Nyck de Vries. Some of Leclerc’s most impressive performances last year came in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 as a guest entry. He took part in six races and finished second in the last three of those, up against lots of drivers with multiple years of experience in the series.

His first win single-seater win is in Monza, where he has a perfect weekend: he also wins that second race.

Of course, in true Charles fashion, he couldn't stop himself from a little self-criticism after the race:

"My start was not perfect and I’ve lost a place. Than I’ve managed to recover it duelling with Isaakyan. When my team told me of the 10” penalty assigned to Riener, I just focused in keeping my pace. This is a very special day as this is my first win ever in singleseaters."

Charles would finish the season with 199 points, 2 wins, 7 podiums and 1 pole position.

Formula Scout would summarize his performance:

After several starring years on the world karting scene, Leclerc’s car debut season was a long awaited one and it lived up to expectations. A non-score at the Imola opener aside, Leclerc delivered a superb rookie season, maturing and improving round after round, which culminated in a spectacular double victory at Monza and saw a further five podium appearances throughout the campaign. A protege of Nicolas Todt’s All Road Management firm, he has also been superb in his guest Eurocup outings and the chief 2.0 series appears to be a logical next step – one he’s more than ready for. In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him take a higher jump up the ladder than that. 

They were right: Charles would take his old karting rival Max Verstappen's now open F3 seat at Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2015 season.

As a final note, this year was also very tragic: Jules' accident would happen in October, on the same day as Charles' final race in Formula Renault.

I'm not going to go into the details, because it feels like it would be disrespectful: it was a tragedy, and it very clearly deeply affected Charles and his family. Jules was an incredible influence for Charles, both personally and professionally.

Through all of this, however, Charles continues into Formula 3.

Came upon some things that I posted in the old blog I accidentally deleted a few yrs. ago, and I think they’re worth revisiting. Have you ever heard of a daytime hotel? The Albergo Diurno Venezia was built in Milan, Italy for rest & rejuvenation for people going about their day or travelers needing a temporary respite. It was also buried for years.

Beneath what is today the Piazza Oberdan, it had been closed since 2003-

When the last surviving barber was evicted by the council. But the rest of it, the public baths and most of the other services, had been out of operation since the mid eighties.

Open everyday from 7am to 11 at night, there was a magnificent lounge, public baths, spas, barber shops, ladies’ hairdressers, manicure and pedicure salons, ironing and wardrobe facilities, a shoe shiners, newsagent, bicycle garage, lost luggage office, travel agency, photography shop, all housed in 1,200 square meters of underground art nouveau splendor.

In the 1960s, the construction of Milan’s Line 1 subway began, & several rooms, a portion of the atrium and toilets were removed and demolished to make way for it.

From then on, the Daytime hotel shared its access stairway with the subway.

It was at this point that it began to lose some of its glamour, leading to its eventual demise.

The closure of the premises and lack of ventilation and maintenance over the years has led to an extreme deterioration of the space. Most of the wood furniture was sold at the end of the 1990s.

At some point, the skylight was also covered in asphalt from the outside.

The Albergo was repeatedly overlooked for restoration projects and city council funding.

In 2006 there was a proposal to renew the space to house the Italian film archives, but contracts were never signed and the money went to restore the spires of Milan’s Duomo.

It wasn’t until 2013 that the Italian environment fund for the preservation of artistic heritage stepped in and volunteered to step in and literally just start cleaning away the dust of time.

Over several months, volunteers worked hard to bring it back to life for a series of public open days. For a few days in March 2015, the underground Art Nouveau gem opened to the public.

An agreement was signed with the city committing to design a formal restoration project, the purpose of the open days was to raise awareness and funds to ensure this pearl of Milan’s buried past can shine once again for the public.

Guess it never happened b/c according to its site, it’s permanently closed.

The Ship of the Day: Ballie

Name: Bea x Allie

Ship Name: Ballie

Ship info: Wentworth is a tv show set in an Australian woman’s prison. The first episode introduces us to Bea, a hairdresser who has been arrested for the attempted murder of her husband who has been mentally, physically, and sexually abusing her for years. The show follows her navigating her new home in prison and how she makes new friends and her now fractured relationship with her daughter. 

Allie is not introduced into the show until season 4. She is in prison for being a part of a vigilante group who brought justice upon people they thought had escaped justice in court. The vigilante group ‘Red right hand’ was led by Kaz who was somewhat of a surrogate mother to Allie. This complicated things after Bea and Allie meet as Bea and Kaz are seen as enemies at first. Despite this, Bea and Allie still start up a relationship. 

Moments of this relationship are the only times we have seen Bea truly happy since the death of her daughter Debbie at the end of season 1. They navigate what having a relationship in prison looks like as well as dealing with both of their past traumas regarding relationships and intimacy and quickly fall in love. They manage to sneak moments away from everyone else in closets and in their rooms and keep their relationship quiet for the most part until Bea steps down as Top Dog and then they fully embrace their relationship, and we get many moments of seeing them truly happy. 

This however all ends when ex-governor turned prisoner, Joan Ferguson, drugs Allie leading to an almost fatal overdose with Allie on the brink of death. After finding Allie unconscious in the showers where Ferguson leaves her Bea calls for help and Allie is rushed to the hospital. Bea then confronts Ferguson with a screwdriver which Ferguson then uses to stab Bea to death. Bea is unable to be resuscitated and we see Bea take her last breaths just as Allie wakes up from her coma. 

Later on in the show after Bea’s death Allie still refers to her often and even keeps a sketchbook of Bea’s old drawings.

Type of ship: Canon Queer

Bea and Allie’s relationship within this show is portrayed with a lot of love. These characters obviously care about each other a lot and it is one of the first times in the show where we see Bea truly happy and ready to let her walls down. Then when she does Allie almost and dies which ultimately leads to Bea getting stabbed to death. This comes no more than 10 minutes after they make love for the first time. 

The entirety of their relationship has been about building trust with the both of them respecting each other’s boundaries and taking things slow so as not to upset everything. Then once this trust culminates in the consummation of their relationship Allie has close call with death and Bea actually does die. This decision by creators to kill of Bea when she finally gets a true taste of happiness is not only confusing but also hurtful – both to characters and the audience. Whilst there are other queer ships within the show it is just heart breaking for creators to build up these characters and their genuine love and affection for each other only for it to end so drastically and sadly.

Previously I spoke about how Dani’s death in the Haunting of Bly Manor can somewhat be seen to make sense however the same cannot be said for Bea’s death in Wentworth. Bea’s death just seems unnecessary and ruthless and almost like a punch in the gut to true fans of the show. Here there is not hiding the hurtfulness of the bury the gays trope.

only child, born into a lower middle class family -- parents used to talk about giving him a sibling, but later said they already had everything they could need/want with daesung :~) he was super loved, super doted on for the first ~12 years of his life

dad was a club owner/sound engineer (with a lame, not super worth mentioning past in a band), so daesung was super exposed to music in his adolescence, esp. rock music -> naturally started dreaming abt becoming a rockstar

dad supported this aspiration, mom not so much??? she watched her husband aspire and fall short of his dreams, didn't really want daesung wasting time doing the same shit which she didn't hesitate to tell him in softer terms, but daesung is nothing if not stubborn

dad suddenly passed away in 2008, which left the family in a rough spot mentally and financially considering daesung's mom is a hairdresser who at that time still hadn't been able to open her own salon ^^ rather than seeking comfort in each other, daesung & his mom drifted apart and never fully got back to where they were before

this is sorta where daesung's escapist tendencies started??? always looking for a distraction, went through a period where he got into many many many fights and was doing drastic things for attention but eventually returned to using music as an outlet -- got into other genres, started learning how to dance

ended up signing to GOLDEN T in 2013, was pretty much immediately thrown into a competition show that he wasn't ready for and was torn to shreds by viewers/judges alike... still ended up debuting 'cause he learned to use humor to cope and turns out people might like you if you're half cute and can make them laugh!

debuted with CAERUS in 2014. target of a lot of criticism and debate for the first couple years of his career, from "does he deserve his spot in the group?" to "he's holding the others back" but he worked extremely hard to improve and get to where he needed to be ^^ eventually grew on the public :~)

TW DISORDERED EATING that said, being a target did fuck with his mentality a lot and certain comments abt his appearance mixed with his own insecurities led to him binging / purging on and off for about a year and a half. did seek help and recovered but still has a weird rs with food because of it, doesn't like to eat in public and won't go on reality shows that make a big deal out of meals END TW

over the course of 2016 to 2021, the public's opinion of him continued to improve and he became a loved entertainment figure, both within his group and as an individual -- from writing/producing/composing to appearing on variety shows and cfs, many many many people came to know his face

group's rising popularity + his personal royalties meant more money to blow, access to exclusive spaces and easier attainment of illegal substances, which resulted in a few things: (1) he became a hoarder (2) he became a party animal and (3) he learned to push his limits

has very eclectic interests, from skateboarding & thrifting to high fashion, history & circus clowns -- used to be a very interesting & fun person to be around, but hasn't been particularly passionate about the things he used to love recently. what tf is going on with him?

however, he does have a way of seeming unattainable/unreachable? because while he's so friendly in person, he doesn't often answer texts/calls and whilst he seems so open and honest, a lot of ppl find that they actually don't know him super well

Today, at least two hundred thousand people worldwide, suffering from a wide range of conditions, live with a neural implant of some kind.

So far, the F.D.A. has approved deep-brain stimulation for a variety of conditions that affect movement, but Gilbert said that trials are under way that will test intelligent neural devices on patients with dementia and psychiatric conditions including anorexia, schizophrenia, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Tourette’s syndrome.

As we enter this new era of extra-human intelligence, it’s becoming apparent that many people develop an intense relationship with their device, often with profound effects on their sense of identity.

The first time the device sent an alert, Leggett was at the hairdresser, a couple of blocks from her home. The external unit displayed a white light, and then a red one. She still remembers the shock of it—the strangeness of having a machine communicate with her and advise her what was about to happen in her head. She’d been told that the device would be able to warn her about fifteen minutes before a seizure hit. This gave her time to leave the hairdresser and get safely into bed at home.

While Leggett acclimated herself to the device, the device was, in effect, acclimatizing itself to her. The electrical signals detected by the apparatus in her head were transmitted to a lab, where a cluster of computers started to read the patterns of her neural activity, constructing an algorithm tailored to her needs.

The goal had been simple: to improve her life by giving her more control over her condition. The effect, though, had been to make Leggett feel like an entirely new person. She had never had a self that she could trust before. When I talked to her, she spoke of the device as if it were a partner. “We were calibrated together,” she said. “We became one.”

When the device and Leggett began to work together, a new person emerged—a de-novo identity, a symbiosis of machine and mind.

For three years after her operation, Leggett lived happily with her device. But in 2013 her neurologist gave her some bad news. NeuroVista had run out of funding and ceased operations. Leggett’s neural device would have to come out.

For the great majority of patients, deep-brain stimulation was beneficial and life-changing, but there were occasional reports of strange behavioral reactions, such as hypomania and hypersexuality. Two years after a brain implant, sixty-five per cent of patients had a breakdown in their marriages or relationships, and sixty-four per cent wanted to leave their careers. Their intellect and their levels of anxiety and depression were the same as before, or, in the case of anxiety, had even improved, but they seemed to experience a fundamental estrangement from themselves. One felt like an electronic doll. Another said he felt like RoboCop, under remote control.

Many people reported that the person they were after treatment was entirely different from the one they’d been when they had only dreamed of relief from their symptoms. Some experienced an uncharacteristic buoyancy and confidence. One woman felt fifteen years younger and tried to lift a pool table, rupturing a disk in her back. One man noticed that his newfound confidence was making life hard for his wife; he was too “full-on.” Another woman became impulsive, walking ten kilometres to a psychologist’s appointment nine days after her surgery. She was unrecognizable to her family. They told her that they grieved for the old her.

Gilbert describes himself as “an applied eliminativist.” He doesn’t believe in a soul, or a mind, at least as we normally think of them, and he strongly questions whether there is a thing you could call a self. He suspected that people whose marriages broke down had built their identities and their relationships around their pathologies. When those were removed, the relationships no longer worked.

Later she determined to take her small idea to make a new fashion business, and then with her ex-boyfriend, she started a website. The business now has around 50,000 members and is also been launched in Australia. It started with the concept of buying, selling, and swapping dresses but later she replaced swap with a rental concept but it was not going right on the Facebook platform.

At the next level of her business, she started Designer Wardrobe rentals called ‘The Dressing Room’, which is the place where one can rent other’s clothes. This did not affect the usual old business of buying and selling. His new feature was available on the website and Auckland store. This was majorly focused on renting high-quality designer dresses, including the collection from RUBY, Zimmermann, Bec+Bridge, Sass & Bide, and many more. 

How does the business work

The business working model is simple and easy and consists of three steps. List it, this is the step where a user will have to take a picture of the item that they want to sell and mention details of it along with the price. It is free when you list the item but a small amount is taken after the sale. The second stage is selling and shipping, where the buyer will shop it and once being sold pack the item and send it through courier which is also been tracked. Mixie dies, going to Hell. After being there for a few weeks, she meets Kane and moves in with him. A few months later, they start dating. (2011).

Sir Pentious and Mixie meet at a party hosted by Kane at his mansion. The two get along very well, much to Kane's dismay. (2012).

Raggdoll dies, and they begin their search for Mixie in Hell. (2013).

Raggdoll finds Mixie and tries to convince her to leave Kane as they don't trust him. Kane and Mixie have a fight over this, which ends with Mixie breaking up with Kane and moving in with Raggdoll. Vaggie dies. (2014).

Mixie meets Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust, and after some time together, they become best friends. Mixie starts developing a crush on Cherri. (2015).

Malika dies in a car accident and arrives in Hell along with two of her friends/band members. (2017).

The events of the pilot happen. Mixie becomes a patient at the Hazbin Hotel. (2019).

2020s

Cherri and Sir Pentious confess their love to Mixie, but she doesn't know what to do since she loves both back. They all talk and agree to a polyamorous relationship in which Mixie dates Cherri and Sir Pent. (2020).

Angel and Husk start dating. (2021).

Kitty is born, much to the surprise of Angel and Husk, who had no idea they were expecting a baby. Niffty and Baxter start dating. (2022).

Maddie is born, and Mixie becomes an employee at the hotel so she can still be there for her Hell-born daughter. (2023).

Gloria and Noah are born. Charlie and Vaggie get married. (2024).

Marcus is born, and about a month later, he and Kitty are babysat by Charlie and Vaggie. During that time, Vaggie feels ready to have kids, and Charlie is so happy about that, as she has wanted to have kids for a few years now. Mixie gives birth to Samantha's egg. In late December of that year, Vincent is born. (2025).

Samantha hatches from her egg. (2026).

Carmel is born, and Sir Pent and Mixie get engaged. (2027).

Gloria and Becka meet and become friends. Lucifer steps down from being king, and Charlie is crowned the new Queen of Hell. (2028).

Sarah is born, and Becka and Gloria start dating. (2029).

2030s

Becka's family moves away, so she and Gloria break up. (2031).

Carmel's sweets addiction starts, and she gets her first cavity. Samantha's existential crisis. (2033).

Charlie and Vaggie have enough of Sarah's bullies, and the school not caring, so they decide to take Sarah out of school and home-school her instead. They use Vincent's old school work to teach her what she needs to learn. Vincent also helps her whenever possible. (2035).

Sarah goes back to school. She can now deal with her bullies; they leave her alone because she is no longer "fun" to bully. (2037).

Vincent realises he is trans and tells his family, Charlie being the first. After telling her, Sarah offers to cut Vincent's hair to help with his gender dysphoria, which he agrees to. (2038).

Kitty and Maddie start dating. (2039).

2040s

Samantha and Malika meet at a concert Malika is performing at, and they start dating. Cavin and Marcus meet at school and become friends. They both start developing feelings for each other. (2040).

Samantha and Malika break up but remain friends. (2041).

Becka and Gloria reunite at the coffee shop Becka works at, and they get back together. (Present day; 2042).

Cavin confesses his feelings for Marcus, and they start dating. (2043).

Vincent finally asks Samantha out, with the help of Maddie and Carmel, and they start dating. Sarah starts training to become a hairdresser. (2044).

Noah gets together with his crush. Carmel starts working as a baker at the Hazbin Hotel. (2045).

Vincent and Samantha get engaged. (2048).

Dear Pete, 

Christopher is convinced you're going to make a surprise visit for your birthday, and while I'd love him to be right, I'm spending a lot of time trying to talk him out of that notion because of how worried I am that he'll end up bitterly disappointed when you aren't here for it. He's still refusing to commit to plans "just in case" and now that I think about it he's been spending an awful lot of time at home... I say "commit" because he throws random ideas out at an alarming rate but refuses to be tied to one and I'm trying hard to enjoy the thrill of the plot twists he devises without simultaneously worrying about how discouraged he'll be when nothing eventuates. 

The shower conversation yesterday seemed to break the ice enough that we're now back on speaking terms and are able to engage in eye contact, albeit brief. Happy to report that thus far there has been no further sexual shenanigans between us. 

At least I think I'm happy to report that...? Prepare for a rapid subject change. You ready? 

All that stuff I said a few days ago about Big Red maybe seeing his penguin in her? It's crap. If he thinks he found his penguin he can bite me, because if he'd found his penguin in her he wouldn't have called me three times today just for me to say mean things to him. 

Yes, he called. Again. And then one more time after that. Apparently he was making sure I was okay but three phone calls and several hours of discussing why we should and shouldn't be together later, I'm reluctant to believe that she is his one true love and more convinced than ever that he is bad news. A vague explanation was offered. 

Apparently he met her several months ago out on the town one night. While they never slept together (Ha!), they did fool around a bit but it was just a bit of fun that never went anywhere. He met me. Fell for me. Liked me. I was making things a little difficult, he decided to take some space to work out whether he was ready to have to make such an effort. During that quiet period he bumps into her, they have sex, and he decides she is the love of his life. 

Yes, that's right. Hours after asking me to commit to a relationship for the third time, which I finally agreed to, Big Red is head first (both heads I would imagine. Though likely at different times) in some bobble-heads vagina. 

Sitting at home drowning in a raging river of self-doubt and confusion and he's out with some fairy-floss hairdo hairdresser. Yes I stalked her Facebook. No I will not apologise or curb my behaviour. 

The next morning he says to her that he wants a serious relationship and is sick of stuffing around. She says okay. He forgets to call me. 

Now if that's not true love I don't know what is! Except that, he is still calling. Also, he's a prick. 

While I can't swear hand on heart that he's the man I want to be with forever, he was definitely a man who convinced me that I'd like to trial at least a few months with him. But now I hate him and am wishing for hail, brimstone, and sulphur to rain on him from the heavens. 

Jerk. 

Encouraging words are spewing from Christopher's mouth about using the story of my life as some plot for a new manuscript. While I want to write a The Alchemist-type book that inspires people and makes them go "wow", it is much more likely I'll write some trashy chick lit novel that will be made into a TV movie in ten years time starring a very washed-up Lindsay Lohan and I am still not convinced that is the kind of "success" I want attached to my name. This is hardly the type of storyline that is going even rate a mention come awards season and I would prefer not to have to dwell in it all even a second longer than is absolutely necessary. Could aim to be one of those screenplay writers who develops the script, gets cast as the female lead, and then gets to star opposite some hot Hollywood-type - like Mindy Kaling did - and I would much prefer that, but I doubt anyone is going to be so engrossed by me and my Big Red saga that that could ever end up happening. 

In the meantime I'll just invest my energy in birthday preparations. Second rapid subject change so that I can forget Big Red even exists. Big who? 

Like I mentioned, these birthday plans of his go up and down with such alarming frequency that it is more nauseating than any roller-coaster I've ever ridden. One moment it's that he wants the biggest birthday bash of all time. The next second he's quite happy having a small dinner at home. We quickly throw that idea out the window with the realisations that neither of us is at all talented in the kitchen and that's when the arguments start. 

"We need to make plans because it's less than a week away and people our age have lives. Commitment, responsibility, people depending on them. They can't drop everything if last minute you decide you want a massive night of fun on a school night." "We're in our early thirties, Liv. We're not looking to get leave from the retirement home." 

"Not yet, but every day I feel it getting a little closer. Don't you?" "You're an idiot." "Name calling doesn't solve anything." "I'll decide when I'm ready. Quit hassling me about it." 

Going to leave him to sulk. My prediction is he ends up meeting the boys for a few drinks before he brings some random woman/women home to contaminate the apartment. 

Jamie called around as predicted. Lots of positive words and 'you can do it' slogans spilled from her mouth. She confiscated the last of the ice cream and then told me what an excellent opportunity this would be for me to embrace not eating for a few days as post-breakup is the best time to shed weight. Sure she meant well but it didn't stop me wanting to slap her. Not sure in which culture encouraging someone to lose weight during their time of need is considered an appropriate technique for assisting with healing, but I'm going to find out and introduce them to the restorative powers contained within Ben & Jerry's. Besides, I am always at my happiest when suffocating in my misery and everyone knows that. 

Except that I am now one tub of ice cream away from being that ex of his that he passes in the street, smiles awkwardly at, then once she is out of earshot breathes a sigh of relief at dodging a bullet because she did not get better with time... 

With that in mind I'm going to call Dylan and see if we can increase our training sessions. Three a week isn't going to get me far enough into Hotsville that I can continue consuming dairy products at my current rate.

I went to Sea’s blog to see what they were saying about Harry’s hair, just because I didn’t understand what the hell the anon was on about. And I’m dying 😭

They think he wears a toupee, a hairpiece, that got lifted off his head clean, and this girl happened to catch it with her film camera in a moment where he was jumping. And I guess it fell exactly in place and got attached immediately and nobody else noticed at all even though he was performing in front of 50,000 people who were filming every second of it (it was the second Manchester show)

It’s literally just the glare of the film camera, you can see his hair below and above the film camera. Harry fiddles with his hair all the time 😭 if just jumping would make it come clean off then he’d be losing it constantly and wouldn’t be able to run his fingers through his hair, they’re so unserious I can’t deal 😭

This man literally takes pictures pulling his hair back, puts clips on his hair to push that exact piece of hair back, touches it constantly, jumps around, sweats, all of it in front of thousands upon thousands of people. That’s just his hair. There is literally no way that’s a hairpiece, I have to believe the original person who posted that is trolling because nobody can ACTUALLY believe that. We can literally see Harry tugging on the roots of his hair multiple times in shows, live, in front of an audience 😭

The worst part is Sea trying to put two pics where his head is angled differently to show that his hairline changes within weeks. I think she posted a Glasgow and a Stockholm pic next to the other, but since the Glasgow pic is more tilted back his hairline looks more linear and less round.

Look, Harry fans know that his hairline is very round. It’s been this way since 2013. Back then the stylists use to fluff the hair around it to hide the widows peaks, but whenever he wore a headband or pushed his hair back you could see it. Then he grew his hair and the widows peak became really apparent because he would push his hair to the side. The left widow peak is actually slightly worse than the left one because that’s where he parted his hair for two years and that’s what happens (even to women, I used to part my fringe slightly to the right of my temple and the hairdresser told me to switch it up once in a while because hair tends to grow thinner where you part it if you don’t).

The long hair distracted from the widows peak but they were still there, especially when he wore his hair in a bun. In 2017 when he went solo, hair short, during the very first part of the year his hair was fluff led on the sides the same way it was back in 2013, because Lou Teasdale was his hair dresser during both periods. Then he started tour and Lou couldn’t go to most American stops because she had her daughter, and Harry wore a clip to multiple shows. I remember Boston and Chicago (I think) of the theater leg of tour were particularly bad hair days and everyone was talking about his hairline. Since then, Harry doesn’t really bother hiding his hairline, and will even push his hair back for photo shoots.

But has it CHANGED? No. I don’t think it has. I don’t have measuring tape but it literally looks like he has the exact same hairline since 2013. If it moved at all I can’t tell. Before 2013 he wore a fringe so it’s impossible to know what it looked like before. It’s entirely likely that’s literally just the same of his hairline. At around 18/19 all men’s hairlines mature, even if they don’t experience hair loss (google it! It’s a thing) but other than that, I don’t think he’s lost hair. And if he did lose hair, at least not so far.

He could lose it at any point from now on. And he could just get hair plugs. That’s completely different from a hair piece, a hair piece is a small wig that’s attached to your head with glue. There isn’t glue strong enough to sustain the things we see Harry do with his hair (not to mention he has multiple hairdressers, some of them random and hired by whatever publication he’s posing, plus the wigs he wore for SNL, the random movie hairdressers, etc). Hair plugs are hair transplants taken from your own head (the back of it). They grow from your scalp. If Harry had noticed at any point that he was losing hair and it was worrisome and he wanted to stop it, he could’ve just gotten hair plugs. Most men in Hollywood do (it’s why you rarely see bald actors even though most men go bald to some degree at some point in their lives). For it to be a hairpiece he would’ve had to lose an incredible amount of hair, and when would that have happened? We see him all the time, consistently, and his hair always looks the same.

Sorry for the long rant, it’s just ridiculous to me, and the idea that some people just body shame like this because they don’t like someone is insane to me.

They're not widow's peaks, just an M shaped hairline, but I agree that he's had it since he was a child. Sea is just clutching at straws as usual, in the full knowledge that Louis daren't even show his hairline and hasn't for four years.

Louies are in a bit of a crisis in general, as King Rat only has about ten concerts left and then they'll get zero content until LT2 comes out (probably late 2023 or 2024 at the rate lazy Louis works).

They're also slowly realising that he's not going to be ditching his child and long term partner when tour is over, and are probably busy in their GCs spinning new conspiracies about how BMG is secretly just another division of Sony which is controlled by Rob Stringer.

A perspective from a newbie, started watching outlander feb this year…..never heard of any of the actors, books, author…

Watched the first half season one, like everyone else googled “ Are Sam and Cait a couple?” Told “no” she’s married and he dates other women, last one being MM. I look at the few pics with his “partners” and her “husband” (didn’t take long, lucky if there’s a total of 6) and I sigh internally ☹️. I carry on watching… ( a voice inside my head is screaming “they have to be together” as I watch each episode). What is wrong with me?

In drought lander I watch every interview and con since it started and now I am even more convinced they are a couple. I eventually find tumblr and fill in blanks and timeline, thanks to all those out there that have receipts 🧾 It was so good to read it all. Now it all made sense!

Sams (post wedding) IG/tweet there was not even a congrats or bride 👰‍♀️ and groom 🤵‍♂️ emoji? ( that I can remember, can’t find it now ) As I remember it was just stating a remarkable day and plugging the suit? C’mon! I am supposed to believe this? Really?

If the narrative was to be believed they would have made it so…..

My perception, no facts -“The meeting” prior to IFH was sprung on them, they went in unprepared and without representation to a room full of power,money, TPTB and lawyers. Whatever happened on that day and in that room has silenced them. Until outlander is finished the narrative soap opera will continue and they will continue to do what they can with breadcrumbs. Once it’s over I don’t think we will get much more than they did it to protect their characters, but at least then we’ll see them out together freely at awards, premieres etc, and if they want to post a picture with the kids they can and if they don’t that’s fine to.

If you look at it from all angles the constant smoke and mirrors actually keeps ALL sides of fans interested, that’s what outlander wants…$ everybody’s and viewing figures, everybody’s. Those who think he’s gay, bi, single, womaniser, married to Cait all get something but no one gets anything concrete.

If you look at just TWO of the people that have congratulated Tony as the father they have ALSO implied Sam and Cait a couple over the years.

Graham, we all know what he’s declared over the years and John Gary Steele who hinted Tony was her Gore Vidal. (Added bonus her hairdresser who posts congrats then deletes?) It’s all beyond weird.

A large portion see Graham’s action as 💵, another view could be that he was helping his very close friend. If you were Sam and Cait and still stuck in a narrative that you have no or little control of because you cannot for whatever reason tell the truth. Who would you want saying congrats to Cait and Tony ? Well I read Graham’s message and didn’t believe it, no way ! Not after everything Graham has said and implied. Based on Graham and John’s congrats messages alone, I thought what a load of bull***! So if you want the narrative not to be believed use people that already have “outed” you as a couple that way the narrative is unbelievable!

My view 🧐…they are a couple since 2013/14, married 2015, with a family since 2016.😍 Congrats to both of them !🥂
