a trick for better straight lines is to move your elbow and keep your wrist still. not as good for very long lines but works great on short ones. (also this is just good drawing practice in general so you don’t injure your wrist)

I have best of the year shelves on goodreads that I make and wow looking back at my last year shelf compared to this one I’m having such a better reading year compared to the last… three years honestly I feel good about that!

#last year the only non reread reads that really moved me were Little Women and Circe and (lol) The Burning Maze others I put on that shelf #I enjoyed but not near fav extent. vs I have 9 books on the 2023 already (and Frankenstein’s def going to be 10th) and I loved them all! #2021 I really loved some books I read but read a really small quantity for me 2020 was like fine all things considered #in other ways am I doing well?
