My landlord: Hey I'm coming by to pick up a new check from you for your rent this month. The one you gave me has the wrong date on it so the bank wouldn't accept it
Me: Embarrassing! Well there are other lifetimes to live. Goodbye world

Imagine
You're walking home, or to work or school, or wherever- and you get caught in the rain. It starts to downpour. Like, big fat droplets of Gaia tears; Thick 'my son-husband has secretly hidden children within me causing a terrible migraine so welp; here baby Cronus, take this flint sickle and castrate brother-daddy' kinda rain. I'll stop with the Greek Mythology now, I'm sure you get it. Heavy rain.
You're getting soaked despite whatever you're using to protect your skin from it all (A binder, a bag, your jacket, a hat,.. an umbrella perhaps), your nose is cold, and you can barely see 10 feet in front of you apart from any street lights around, when-
A car pulls up directly next to you. You have the horrible panicked moment of 'am i going to be kidnapped today', before you recognise the car and the side door is thrown open in front of you.
Your F/O gestures and/or calls for you to get in. They knew you would be out at this time (They're familiar with your basic schedule ^^), saw the downpour and thought immediately 'Oh shit wait, Y/N's out in this'- and came right over to get you out of it.
What's their car like? Is it sleek and well taken car of? Is it a regular old thing? Does it look like its gonna break down any time now?
Do they have a blanket for you to throw over your legs? Or do they throw you their coat??~~~
Do they enforce seat belts? Are they gonna refuse to go if you just pull the blanket over your shoulders and 'forget' (Or genuinely forget) to buckle up or will they lean over and buckle you themselves?
Are they taking you to your destination or are they taking you to their house because you need a hot shower and to get warm or you're gonna catch a cold? Are they kind about it or bossy? XD
Will they stop by a drive thru to get you something to eat and/or drink? Maybe something lovely and hot?? Or are you two the crazy people who eat ice cream when its cold 'cuz it wont melt'?
Possibly most importantly; Is their any chance that your F/O would kick you back out into the rain for any reason? XD

I made a friend while out on my walk this morning!
I may not approve of people letting their cats out unsupervised, but that doesn’t mean I can’t also take advantage of their presence for a little dose of happy. I was having a bit of a morning with Diesel on my mind, so having a sweet kitty come over and say hi was a nice treat.
And hey, I also stopped her from hunting down a robin by calling out to her, so win-win!

i hate that i've been complaining about everything in my life lately but if you're a frequent reader of my personal posts (side note, if you are: why. also i'm sorry) but if you remember earlier this week on tuesday i slipped outside and hurt my knee. i didn't end up seeing a doctor about that bc they literally had no openings when i talked to the secretary she was like i am so sorry sweetie. we can't take you for the rest of the week and i was like oh. and after a couple days it didn't hurt sooooo much although i think the limp ive been walking w has not been doing me any favors. but now today especially (? for some reason) BOTH of my legs were really hurting. i'm wondering if that might somehow be related to me getting my period today bc sometimes. you know how period pain can just end up wherever it wants. but then around 8 o'clock today i stubbed the SHIT out of one of my toes and i think i might have injured it (? i dont think it's broken but i cant stand on it and it's been hours). this is my left foot and the knee i hurt on tuesday was on my right leg. i am literally limping on both sides of my body now and i cant stand or walk.

I went the wrong way on a hike today and asked an older chap for directions and not only did he offer to drive me to the actual trail head (I was on the wrong side of the ridge oops) but it turns out he was a local archaeologist/historian and so he spent the next 45 mins telling me all about the local area and the old mining tracks and machinery and gave me a little tour of the canal and explained how the culvert diverted water from the river which used to be tidal and ships used to come all the way up it and this car park used to be the loading bay from mine to canal to ship and I love getting old folks to tell me history !!

before taking my road test i did genuinely think everyone who said some of them will try to trip you up or be overly harsh were just sorta stretching the truth, but after how stupid my test was i understand.
i ended up autofailing bcz it was a two lane (same direction) parking lot where there were signs and cones saying one side was for the road test & one was for regular vechicles EXCEPT FOR ONE VERY SMALL AREA ONLY AT THE BEGINNING. but then she proceeded to make me continue on and do a parallel park, making me assume i didnt do anything wrong, and then have me circle back to the beginning and THEN fail me.
not only that, but she.. lied? about me not using my blinker when either going in or leaving the park????? which i straight up did do????? 🥲
