Had epic emotional god fights on the mind, so I drew Ailia and Ciaran in an epic emotional(?) god fight. It was only after I finished that I realized that Ciaran’s wings are supposed to be too torn up for him to fly but idk maybe he got better, I’m sure it’s fine.

[Façade]: Ailia is a man whose presence is known. He seems kind of stuck up but has good intentions. He tries to listen to others but struggles to appreciate their feedback and criticism. Also, he's kind of a dick.

[Reality]: Ailia is anxious. He's paranoid that people will recognize him, despite being far from home. He never fit in with other people of his rank, being soft-hearted and silent.

Background: Noble

Backstory:

[Public] What is known about him is he is from Waterdeep, and he's an elf. He doesn't really talk much about himself.

[Private] An affair between an elven noble and a vampire in waterdeep. That's where it all started. From a young age, Ailia had been struggling with not only his rank, but his hunger as well. With nowhere to go, and his mom trying to hide his vampiric half from the world, he had been waiting for a miracle to get him out of Waterdeep and into a new life. This miracle came in the form of a friend. A guard that protected his mother and himself had heard Ailia's woes and helped him escape. Now alone, Ailia wanders as a bard, twisting stories of his own past to entertain others. He looks elven enough to pass as full, so that's what he does, not getting much chance to feed... But how long until his luck runs out?

Thanks for the ask! I don't have links for these particular stories because they're on the back burner but I have their slides from my comic sans PowerPoint intro so I'll share those instead!

18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.

My OC Ailia Antares (AI-LIA) was originally a dnd character for my friend Theele's space game, and then she got reused for my friend @carboninkwash 's dnd game called Rement which was amazing, but I still want to tell her backstory in a multimedia kind of way at some point.

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

Yes! Mostly affection and embarrassment and a not insignificant touch of "wait when did I put that in there?" I have plans to rewrite the very first book I ever made which is called Vilottas Adventure

The first of many accidental Overwatch OCs oof, I made Ailia cause I wanted a stealthy thief character since that's my go-to playstyle in Every game. They were designed before Sombra's reveal Some noots; - Ailia O'Sullivan, 28, Irish, nonbinary (they/them pronouns), bisexual - 197cm (6'5"), 93kg (205lb) - They made their prosthetic hand themself. It's kinda shit - Every time someone asks how they lost their hand, Ailia changes the story - Their callsign, Ceo, means mist or fog - The very definition of 'true neutral' - Ailia's worked for both Talon and Overwatch briefly - Mostly just a thief for hire now - Ailia's stolen from a number of characters and generally isn't well liked - They try really hard to be cool and mysterious but Ailia's just a big fuckin Nerd - Compulsive liar and kleptomaniac - Has the Cutest lil giggle-snort Gameplay noots; - Defense/Damage role, 150 health, 50 shield - Abilities;    Shiv - Their mechanical hand shoots out two shivs at once that inflict poison. Shivs themselves do 5 damage each, poison inflicts 10 damage over a period of 5 seconds. 8 ammo. The poison damage can't stack.    Shank - Ailia strikes quickly with their dagger five times in a row. The first four do 20 damage each, with the last strike doing 25 for a total of 105 damage. 5 second cooldown. The time it takes between each strike allows the move to be dodged as they're attacking.    Haze - Ailia tosses a smoke bomb on the ground that temporarily disorients enemies. Enemies are only disoriented for two seconds, but the smoke lasts for five seconds. Running into the smoke while it's active will disorient enemies. 12 second cooldown.    Link - Aillia fires out their grappling hook. It can be used on the map, or on enemies to bring Ailia closer to them, only doing 5 points of damage. Has a 15 metre radius, and a 10 second cooldown.    Night Daze - Ailia's ultimate ability. Ailia tosses multiple smoke bombs on the ground that trap any enemies within it, before auto locking and leaping from opponent to opponent to attack them with their daggers. Ailia can only inflict a max of 200 damage on a single opponent before moving to another, and can jump to another enemy mid attack. Teammates are also able to attack enemies trapped in it. Trap lasts 5 seconds, and the smoke remains for another 5. Running into the smoke while it's active will disorient enemies like their 'Haze' ability. Has an 8 metre radius, but it takes 2 seconds to fully reach that size.

Next Cosplay?

Well, after Anime Boston I’ll have worn my Sparrow Genji cosplay for three conventions. Usually I only get 1-2 wears out of my costumes but since I’ve put considerably more effort into this one, and it’s been holding up pretty well, I’ll probably continue to wear it to cons during the spring and summer.

And let’s face it, Pax East was a bit of a wake-up call that maybe I shouldn’t go sleeveless in 8 degree weather. So perhaps something...warmer?

So I’d like to make a new costume! There goes my wallet.
