Weapons of mass destruction, in particular nuclear weapons, continue to be of primary concern, owing to their destructive power and the threat that they pose to humanity. The excessive accumulation in conventional weapons and the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons jeopardizes international peace and security and sustainable development, while the use of explosive weapons in populated areas is seriously endangering civilians. New and emerging weapon technologies, such as autonomous weapons, pose a challenge to global security and have received increased attention from the international community in recent years

Me, drawing this whole thing (except the bg I nabbed from internet, no regrets), giving it to my player like ‘’yo here’s that picture your character is carrying in his wallet’’ knowing fully I’m going to use this as a weapon in the future.  Anyways I think it’s kinda cute still, enjoy :’D  The name of our campaign is ‘’Cringapo’’ so I guess that’ll be my tag for stuff for that campaign haha!  (Well the complete name is cringapocalypse, or cringeapocalypse, but yknow)

Fakemon Challenge #2 - CROAKET (Fire/Steel) The Rocket pokemon & BALISTICROAK (Fire/Steel) The Bombing pokemon
Based on the Suriname Toad and the way it carries its tadpoles on holes in its back and Missile Launchers (I have purposefully decided not to show you photos of the Suriname Toad and its babies because they can be quite upsetting, specially if you suffer from trypophobia, so if you want to see the toad in question, look it up under your own risk)
Tumblr media
BALISTRICROAK uses CROAKETs as amunition and is able to launch them as missiles. It has the ability "Heat Seeker", with this ability if the oponent has the Burn status, BALISTICROAK moves cant' miss.

She sits on the balcony bathed in moonlight. Her boys have been put to sleep. Chan went down silently. He had always slept better when he knew his father wasn't home. Changbin had tried fighting her, wanting to keep her company, but he gave in, fatigue of the previous school day overtaking his body.
She picked up the glass of wine from the table next to her, admiring the way the red liquid swished as the glass moved. She caught her wedding ring glimmering in the moonlight, the silver band burning her, like a reminder of a contract she's helplessly bound to. Soft silver in contrast to the dark red of the wine. (Silently, she remembers that this is the only silver item she has. All her other jewels are gold or black)
The wine had been a bottle Seungmin had gifted her for her birthday last week. It makes her think, the contast between the ring and the liquid, much like the contrast between the brothers.
She wonders sometimes if she had made a mistake back then, choosing Han, she wonders and wonders, until her sons come crying to her and her husband doesn't come home, then she knows she made a mistake.
She knows she should've chosen Seungmin back then. The man had shown her what it truly felt like to be in love, but she was young and ambitious, and Han had a free spirit, charming her with songs he had written himself.
She sits on the balcony, a single tear falling from her cheek, Seungmin is married now, not happily, but he's married none the less. She herself is married. She hates Han for what he does, how he doesn't look after their children, and how he doesn't even care about anything they do. Seungmin would be a better father. She knows he is.
Five year old Chan has slipped up calling him 'daddy' a few too many times. She wish she could take Seungmin up on his offer, have an affair with him just like his wife is doing with Han, but as much as she loves him she can't bring herself too stoop that low.
She will not do the very same thing her husband does. She will not give him amunition to turn her into the bad guy.
Taking the last swig of wine, she walks back inside to the empty house, not a home anymore, its to cold to be a home.
She sits on the couch, getting a book to keep herself busy while she waits for her husband. He'll stumble in eventually, drunk and flustered, and like the perfect wife she is, she'll help him to bed.
She'll be damned if that man sees her break, see's the pain she hides.
One day, she'll work up enough courage to hurt him in the same way he hurts her. One day, she'll give her boys the family they deserve. Unluckily, today isn't that day.

It's so funny when people say "you can't criticize liberals from the left, you'll give right wingers amunition" because in my experience nothing will make absolutely fervent reactionaries put their whole weight into defending a liberal more than a leftist (let's be honest, even a radlib) making a justified criticism of them

Episode 4, HOTD:
* I like that they added Rhaenyra's tendency to play with her rings when she's nervous.
* It seems that Daemon's necklace makes her feel safe somehow.
* I didn't expect that Blackwood boy killing that other boy, how naive of me.
* Rhaenyra's crush on Daemon is quite sweet.
* Mis pobres niñas, 😥, they really need each other.
* As cruel as Rhaenyra's words about marriage and childbirth are, Alicent can't deny them.
* Daemon realising that even he has limits was not as satisfying as I thought, it was very sad actually.
* Alicent disociating while Viserys was having sex with her... ugh... so fucking frustrating.
* At least Criston is a kind lover, and I like that Rhaenyra's first sexual experience was on her own terms, but still, something felt off for me.
* Viserys may not be a suitable king, but he's not stupid. I only wish that he didn't act until it's too late to fix things. Otto already has done enough damage to fuck everything.
* Why was Alicent so upset?, did she think that Rhaenyra acted foolishly considering the precauriosness of her situation?, did she think that Daemon took advantage of her? (Which let's be honest, he did. He knew that Rhaenyra is very vulnerable right now.), did she think that she gave her father amunition against her?, or maybe she was a little jelaous?. After all Rhaenyra might have been foolish, but at least she got to choose.
*Something tells me that Otto's removal as the hand of the king, will be the last nail on the coffin that is Rhaenyra's and Alicent's relationship, for all his selfishness and cruelty, Alicent will feel unsafe and lost without him, it is contradictory I know, but it's like being in this abusive relationship where you learn to interpret a punch or cruel words as love and without them you feel lost.
* When the maester arrived with the tea, I remebered something that my mom has always said: Deep down, every parent knows who their children truly are and what they are capable of.
* I miss the Starks and their direwolves 🐺 (I assume this is a wolf)

I've mentioned before that I prefer when humans (often with antisenescence treatments, bio-augmentation, cybernetics, or some other form of mild-to-moderate transhuman characteristics) are the advanced, swoopy-ship-driving energy weapons shooters rather than the big grey blocky ship ballistic users, but I've been thinking on why the latter is the default, and I don't think I've mentioned it here.
Honestly, almost all the settings that, say, have humans organized under some acronym government shooting bullets at aliens tend to have some kind of long, elaborate justification for it, and they're all excuses because they worked backwards from the conclusion.
Largely due to Star Wars, its contemporaries and its knockoffs, and in no small part to Star Trek and its constellation of similar works, "blasters" and other sorts of energy weapons were 'kiddy' stuff so you could show people fall down dramatically with only a minor singe as the visible wound. This association would linger no matter if you showed lasers as, you know, a bolt of lightning through the air that caused any flesh it hit to explode or any armor to graphically melt--both of which cost more money and effort to portray in live action or animate in a game than a generic squib or bloodsplatter from bullets.
And, more importantly, the target audience for that influential sci-fi of the late 90's and especially early 2000's was a pasty teenager that drank Monster, wore Tapout shirts, listened to eminem and didn't lift but wanted to join the Marines. Failing that, they lived or went to school or hung out with such people. There's no way you're selling those people a weird future humanity of bizarre tribal transhumans with (even gruesome) energy weapons. People ascribe heavy themes or practical considerations on what was, realistically, a wholly cynical decision by a few influential properties and their imitators to appeal to a mass market by selling them a tough-guy fantasy of being a marine with a pump-action shotgun. (See my old rant about people trying to justify 'cyberpsychosis' as some sort of deep anticapitalist message rather than a patch-job game mechanic
It gets taken to hilarious extremes, too. Mass Effect sold itself as vaguely Trek-like in the first game before switching to a generic Star Wars melange of design and worldbuilding philosophy for 2 onward, and in either game that illusion lasts precisely until combat starts, where characters start talking in embarrassing derivatives of USMC cliches and their glowy space guns start functioning exactly like modern assault rifles. Or how in Halo almost every weapon uses not just modern style-amunition actual modern cartridges in current marketed calibers, 500 years in the future.

Israel Army 🇮🇱 used "white Phosphorus" amunition against civilians. It's incediary ammo type, "white phosphorus" burn in temperature up to 800-900 Degrees Celsius causing heavy wounds. When combusting, this type of ammunition burns off oxygen, making the air unbreathable. These weapons are prohibited by numerous conventions, including the Geneva Convention.
I can't post results of using this amunition here. It's just too drastic.

Have an OC
I don't have a name for her yet. More info below cut
(Sorry for the bad image quality, I didn't feel like taking the image from my switch)
I don't have a name for her, but she's an octoling from the domes who escaped to the surface before O.E happened (like, a few months). She's an ex-amunition specialist. She was in charge of managing, sorting and distributing ink for weapons. Thick ink, poisonous ink, etc, etc.
She realized that being in the domes sucked, and left. Now they're a model rockenbrug. They also freelance to other companies on occasion.
(Note, I'll probably switch out the boots for the octolete boots.)
If you have any questions about her, ask away!!!

Hello! May I ask your opinion about delivering cluster amunition to Ukraine=? In Germany a lot of people are really upset about it. A thing I can understand as those ammunitions are banned in more than a hundred states. But then Putins army uses them since the beginning of the war, and at least the ukrainians aren´t targetting civilians. So I tend to think that if it brings the end of the war sooner, those special circumstances justify those deliveries.
The most compelling argument I've heard is that Ukraine is asking for them, to use on their own territory. I haven't heard a sufficiently good counter-argument to that, so I'm in favor. So they're the ones willing to accept the risk, which counts for a whole lot. Of course, it helps that the people who are concern-trolling about UXO's have been mum about the Russian use of much less effective cluster munitions fired into urban areas like Kharkiv, whereas the DPICM's being talked about have a high explode rate and leave behind comparatively few UXO's. So those folks can be called out as the bad-faith actors that they are - they don't care about the dangers, they're just concerned that Russia might lose. So maybe I'm not really seeing the genuine arguments from the other side.
Thanks for the question, Rig.

I understand it. And of course there's a lot of hate to the trans community but at the same time I know a lot of people who are either trans or support the community and they like Harry Potter
Okay, look I had a shitty day.
I'm on my period. It fucking hurts a lot btw.
I was called an offensive term by a classmate because aparently it isn't safe to be openly autistic on a PSYCHOLOGY grad class.
And I'm literally dealing with insonmima rn and will have five hours of sleep at best of I'm lucky.
So I'll say that with the ultmost politely I can muster under this circunstances: I DON'T CARE.
I, NICO, LEMON, ME don't feel safe around potterheads, specially not the ones who still consume new Harry Potter media. I could talk about the how it impacts on the political power J.k HAS (and is using on the detriment of the trans comunity) but I'm not gonna waste my time.
So I wish this hypothetical trans people the best. Good for them for still finding enjoyment in Harry Potter. I do hope they at least consider the racism as it doesn't affect most of them and they may thanks to that just let it slide. But honestly whatever.
But I'm not one of those. And I don't feel safe towards people who choose this fucking stupid antissemitic game even though they know that it will give J.K more power and her followers more amunition to target me and my fellow trans people.
So if you wanna play the game: go on. Have the time of your lfie, truly. I'm a random on the internet you don't need me to validate your feelings and hold you and say you're a good person. Wich is great cause I won't.
I don't feel safe around you. And not only I can't control my feelings but I should not have to lie about it so people can feel alright over playing the fucking game. Just go play the fucking game and stop talking to me. At least you won't harrassing a trans person.
