I know it’s been kind of a while since I posted about my Black Butler Dadbastian Maleficent AU (damn that’s a fucking mouthful lmao) so I’ve been brainstorming a little narrative that sets up the story events.

Here’s what I came up with (as I always say when making shit like this, bear with me lmao)

Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom (or some shit) there was a young peasant.

Vincent was a very poor young fellow, living alone in very poor conditions, spending what little money he has just to buy barely enough food for himself.

One fateful day however, he made a contract with a demon.

The demon called himself Sebastian (or maybe Vincent named him that idfk) and he made the offer of whatever Vincent wanted in exchange for his soul.

Vincent told him that he wanted a wealthy life where he’d have a high level of status and power.

It was established in the contract that when Vincent was at the peak of wealth and power, Sebastian would take his soul.

And so time passes, and eventually Vincent is king, with a castle and a wife and loyal servants and subjects

Now here’s where things kinda get shaky (both in-universe and out, like I’m kinda struggling to think how this story would play out properly)

Sebastian shows up looking for the soul Vincent promised.

Vincent is freaking out like, “No wait please let’s discuss this further” cause like he doesn’t wanna die, not now-

Sebastian’s like “Fine. You wanna live? I’ll give you an alternative” and he makes an offer.

Either Vincent let him have his soul now, or he offers the soul of his then-infant son, Ciel.

It would be stated that once Ciel turns thirteen, his soul would descend into Hell.

Vincent, not knowing what else to do, very hesitantly agrees to the latter.

Sebastian’s like “Very well, I look forward to that day” and disappears into nothingness (if anything he’s pissed off that he has to wait thirteen more fucking years to get a damn soul)

Vincent’s like “oh shit oh shit I fucked up BAD what do I do”

So goes to this fairy (or fairies I dunno) like “please help me”

So uh

You know how in the original Disney sleeping beauty film

The curse was originally “Aurora will die if she pricked her finger on the spinning wheel”

But one of the fairies sort of “waters down” the curse so Aurora would fall into a deep sleep instead of dying? (And she’d be awakened with true love’s kiss and shit)

A similar thing is happening here:

So like the fairy (let’s pretend that Tanaka’s in this role because why the fuck not) he’s like “Okay here’s what I can do”

Instead of descending into Hell, Ciel’s soul would only leave his body and maybe enter a state of limbo or something. (Ciel himself would enter a state of some sort of “suspended animation” one would say.)

As for how to fix it? “True love.”

(Audience note that he doesn’t say “True Love’s Kiss” just true love. Just a bit of foreshadowing that he's not actually talking about romantic love like the characters think)

Idk how logic would play into this shit just

It’s a fairytale world just go with it okay

So just like the film, Ciel is sent off with these three... fairies? Servants?

Okay I know I said the Phantomhive servants (Finny, Mey-Rin, and Baldroy) would play the role of the fairies and they still do

I just don’t know whether they’d be fairies or just Vincent’s castle servants that he trusted with his child

So the rest of the Maleficent plot plays out (Ciel grows up in the woods, Sebastian forms a father-son bond with him) I’d get into more of it but that’s for another time

Oh and uh btw I decided

Agni will be the role of Diaval (aka the crow character who turns human in the Maleficent movie)

We love us some Sebagni

The Astral Realm ✨

(aka infodumping RFTS!AU stuff for fun)

I remembered saying at one point that I’ll do a post just spatting out my ideas for the universe that Wishing Stars reside in and well, here’s that post!

First and foremost, I want to clarify that since the stars live in a completely different universe/reality, the terminology used here is not going to be completely accurate to space in real-life. This is really just my imagination running wild. 😅

Without further ado, here’s stuff under the cut ⬇️

The Realm:

I was inspired a bit by the “In Between Realm” that was featured in The Owl House. (LOVE that show btw 💖). And I remembered Disney attempted to make ‘Wish’ the starting point in a Disney interconnected universe with Asha being the first Fairy Godmother and all those references. And stuff-

Sooo, I kind of played with those two ideas. :))

The Owl House described the “In Between Realm” as the ‘connection of worlds’ or the ‘cosmic glue in between realms.’ Somewhere where its inhabitants can look through places of different realms. So my head clicked and I thought, what if the Astral Realm is like the “In-between Realm?”

The Astral Realm is the cosmic space found in between multiple different Disney universes. After all, presumably everyone looks up to the same sky and see the same stars, right? Let me explain it a little more clearly.

In TOH, each cube is a way to look into one realm. Papa Titan mentioned that they can look into more places than just the Human and Demon realm. In the RFTS!AU, it’s like that but at a much bigger scale.

I was thinking that instead of small cubes, it’s galaxies and they’re like the size of islands scattered across the black ocean space of the Astral realm. Each galaxy is a seperate Disney universe. (One for Snow White. One for Tangled, etc.)

The stars can fly or swim in between these islands and can land to rest on any of them if they’d like. But they’ll always have a sense of where their home island/galaxy is. But mostly, I think they’ll just be zooming around and floating around in the vast space, playing with dust clouds and space rocks.

Btw, Wishing Stars can move around freely a lot in the Astral Realm to their heart’s content. But humans from their realm will still see them as unmoving regardless. After all, they’re in seperate realities.

In a way, the Disneyverse is sort of interconnected but also not really?? They’re still separated by this ‘cosmic glue’ in between them but they’re pretty close by in a sense. Wishing stars reside within this “cosmic glue” and they’re the very same stars that listen to people’s wishes no matter what Disney universe they’re in.

Within One Galaxy:

As I’ve mentioned, one galaxy is like one island surrounded by the ocean of space. (An island that looks like the above pic ⬆️) And one island is a seperate Disney universe. Stars could choose to land on an island and just really chill there or whatever.

I think that the outsides around it when zooming into what it looks like within, is just a forest similar to what Disney likes to set most of its stories in. (Ex: Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood.) In contrast to the mortal realms, I like to think the Astral realm is leaning more onto a nature-themed home instead of built villages and castles that humans have. Take these images for example but make it more nebula-ish and sparkly.

There’s forests, caves, “Water” bodies and all that on each island. But in the very middle of each ‘galaxy’ is a more special place:

The Wishing Meadow:

The place is exactly as it sounds. In the very middle of each island is a lake(?) where most rivers and creeks often originate from. But all ‘water’ bodies are the stars’ way of looking down at the living mortals that belong in this specific island’s universe.

Only every time the sky is clear at night does the water turn transparent, and they can people-watch.

But surrounding the main lake in the middle, is the “Wishing Meadow” where all wishes made from the heart go. Simpler ones grow into flowers that litter around the area. Glowing brightly and in different sizes depending on what kind of wish it is. The more complex ones grow into fruit among the leaves of the few trees in the meadow.

(My sister commented on the meadow sounding like the “Echo Flowers” from Undertale, and honestly? That’s pretty sick-)

Wishing stars can either listen to the music emitted by the flowers that only they can hear. (Because I like to think each wish has a unique melody. Like “How Far I’ll Go” is more determined with a stronger beat, compared to “Part of Your World” is softer because they each have different emotions.).

OR the stars can choose to harness a wish from a flower and use magic to guide their wishmaker from the sky through some magic intervention. (What powers their ability to magically assist is passion derived from the wish itself.)

Complex Wishes as fruit from the trees are only allowed to be picked by more mature stars since they have more experience. (These are also the only kind that will allow a star to travel down to the mortal realm if needed.)

I’ve made some of my own art as a way to brainstorm this concept and the ideas I’ve mentioned above.

I spent way too much time thinking about something that won’t be a major part in my story anyway. Lol. Oh well, this was fun either way.

Modern Au Zosan Info pt 1:

High school

Sanji has a goldfish Zoro won for him at a festival when they were younger, this goldfish has lived a life longer then anyone expected him too but it is their baby and Sanji will not have anyone defacing the good name of Fredrick Gillaby Roranoa. He is a very spoiled fish.

Zoro has a Marimo ball tank in his room, he does nothing with it but let it exist. Sanji gave it to him as a gift since he thought Zoro’s room felt a little dead, it had originally only had one in the tank but it’s multiplied to three. They are also their children although Sanji only refers to them as ‘The eggs’.

They’re neighbors and their bedroom windows are right across from one another. Whenever they want to talk they can open their windows and either shout at one another or call just to be able to relax and communicate in the comfort of their own spaces.

They use to walk to school together every single morning. Their neighborhood wasn’t too far away from the schools so when they were old enough they were trusted to just walk themselves to school. Sanji usually having to go help wake Zoro up in the morning or else they’d be late. This also put him on breakfast duty to make sure the sleepy lump got food.

They don’t live too far away from Chopper and babysit him together when they aren’t working. A lot of the time it’s like having their own son, and they babysit him so often that Chopper had started to go to hang out with their friends with them with Doctrines permission. (She didn’t really care where chopper went as long as he was home by a certain time)

The both of them have pretty busy schedules and hang out when they can, between club meetings, extra curricular activities and work (Zoro has two jobs that switch off day by day, eventually three, and Sanji works at the Baratie some days) this doesn’t leave very many windows open for them to stay much from school hours. So they hang out as much and as often as possible with their friends and make any opportunity they have for each other count. They’re especially grateful for the fact that they’re neighbors when it comes to spending time together.

In class Sanji sits right in front of Zoro during most classes. So they pass notes a lot though they’ve almost perfected being completely invisible about it.

Thanks to Zoro being an Alpha Zeff made a rule that he isn’t allowed on the property at all while Sanji is in heat. Sanji has a fairly regular heat cycle so when it happens he’s in total lockdown. Which this is reasonably difficult to handle since Zoro is literally his neighbor and boyfriend.

ok so let me spill some stuff about my mermaid au

ok so i've been thinking too much and now I has some lore??? (idk tell me if this sounds cool or lame as hell ok??)

So basically Cole, Kai, Nya, Lloyd and Zane are all mermaids, they're all between the ages of about 18 to 21. and they are all sea witches in training (so basically their elemental powers, and im calling them witches cause they do have some innate elemental control but their more powerful magic are stuff like spells)

in the seaside city that Jay lives in mermaids are common and actually interact with humans a lot. To messing and stealing from fishermen, to some helping people and doing jobs, to some small amount of trading. They keep mostly to themselves but them interacting with people isnt uncommon either. They stay at the coastal town ocean every spring and summer before migrating to warmer waters for the winter. (I am also thinking that they might have their own like underwater city in southern ocean too)

now I'm also tempted to make Jay half mermaid. Like half mermaids happen, but they are rare. Sometimes they are born with tails and live in the ocean with their mer family, and sometimes they arnt born with tails and are raised by their human fam. Jay had no tail, and Ed and Edna found the poor baby alone on the beach. And of course they take the child in. But even though Jay's half mermaid he really doenst have alot to show for it. No scales or patterns, his ears arnt pointy, nor are his fingers webbed like other half mers. He does have pointy teeth and tiny lil gills that dont really work, and he can stay under water for like 10 minutes without needing air. But thats kinda it. He's a lil to mer for other humans and way to human for other mers, so the dude is just really upset and frustrated by all this

but he did get one cool thing from his mom. He does get elemental powers...

Donnie originally wanted to give Astro lavender hair, but he decided vermilion; a mix between red and orange would be a better option because he knew that red was her favorite color. And also because in the end, red and blue make purple, which reminded him of his brothers. When it comes to Leo; Donnie feels nothing but rage, for Raphael, it's grief.

About Mikey... *sigh* he deeply misses him every single day. If only he had agreed to run away with Donnie.

Piranha plant (Mario series): Since it's not trying to hide it's sentience like Audrey 2 initially was, Seymour would probably recognize it as immediately dangerous and probably not bring it back to the shop (then again, these things can behave like normal plants, as shown in Super Mario Oddessy where Peach has a bouquet of them and they don't try to bite her)

Flowey (Undertale): Flowey would never care to eat anyone, but he does still want to kill people just because he's bored and he can reset the timeline so life and death wouldn't really matter to Flowey anyway. I imagine he still would have the goal of absorbing 7 human souls in order to turn back into Asriel, but I don't know how well that would actually work without being capable of eating them.

Cow Plant (the sims): Not really all that different from twoey, the only real differences would be that it can't talk and just moos and makes gross tounge noises, and also that the deaths caused by these things probably won't reach the apocalyptic scale that the Audrey II's reach in the musical (so this AU would basically play out a little closer to the 1960 version than the musical). And as a bonus, Mushnik can also sell the Anti-Aging milk that Cow Plants produce when they eat people

Tama/Stray Cat (Jojo's Bizzarre Adventure): This one would start with Orin accidentally-on-purpose running over a stray Prussian Blue cat with his motorcycle, and I guess because he just wants to traumatize some random kids outside of just dental work, he throws the cat's body into some random park and drives off. The next day, a gray flower with eyes, a mouth, petals shaped like cat ears, and whisker-like pistons that it uses to shoot air bubbles at its enemies. Seymour finds the cat plant and decides to take it home and names it Paw-drey (a joke Audrey greatly apprecieates :D). No faustian power bargains occur here but there were probably some people who got broken fingers from Paw-drey shooting air bubbles at them. And it kinda goes without saying that it would absolutely despise Orin for, you know, killing it. I also feel like it wouldn't be too happy with Mushnik either, no real reason tho.

The things from the Goosebumps episode "Stay Out Of The Basement": In this AU Seymour isn't just a florist, but also a full-on botanist who makes Hybrid his own Hybrid plants. One day Mushnik has to leave town and leaves Audrey in charge while he's gone (also, for the sake of this AU, we'll say that Audrey and Seymour are already dating and Orin doesn't have anything to do with this) Audrey has been noticing her boyfriend has been acting wierd these past few weeks, he stopped calling her by the pet name they always call each other and he keeps insisting that nobody goes in the basement. Audrey decides to see why Seymour insists she stays out of the basement, only to discover that he's got leaves growing out of his hair and his bed is full of worms. Seymour locks the basement door, but Audrey breaks in with a crowbar and finds Seymour tied up among the plants with no leaves in his hair. He explains to her that he was experimenting on some Venus fly traps when he cut himself on the slide and somehow his own DNA merged with it and became a half plant, half human copy of him. The other Seymour shows up and Audrey is prepared to shoot one of them with weed killer but she doesn't know which one is the real Seymour, that is until, the real one calls her by the nickname and she kills the plant Seymour. It ends with the reveal that one of the plants Audrey pricked her finger on in the basement has merged with her DNA and became another plant copy. TL;DR: the horror wouldn't be killing people to feed the plant, but instead, the plant commiting Identity Fraud

Venus Mcflytrap (Monster High): I mean, she's basically a human but green and with the ability to make plants grow, so I imagine she and Seymour would be beasties (Pun sort of intended). I think it would be funny if the Original Audrey 2 still exists in this universe and Venus calls it Mom, bonus points, Seymour gets called Gramps as a result even though he's probably only 3 years older than her (we don't actually know his age and it kinda varies from production to production)

Once upon a time, there was a crow.

As far as she was aware, she was always a crow.

She was quite sure of it because she clearly couldn’t recall being literally anything else other than a crow.

Sure, she was able to take the image of a human at times, but that didn’t change the fact that she was still just a crow, did it?

Okay she actually wasn’t always a crow but unfortunately she didn’t know that yet.

Anyway, there was this prince she met at some point.

He saved her life in fact.

Impossible.

Sure, it was common knowledge that many humans had a soft spot for animals. 

She knew because she sees humans fawn over the ducks in the pond all the time.

But they don’t behave like that around crows, do they?

Absolutely not.

They would shoo them away, some even going as far as to throw pebbles and stones whenever they see them.

Crows were hideous creatures. Symbols of bad luck and death. 

(Ducks meanwhile were cute and innocent.)

(She really hated ducks.)

No human is ever capable of loving or even caring for a crow.

After all, it’s what her father has been saying to her ever since she was a nestling.

And he wouldn’t lie to her, would he?

Yet, this prince... he was different.

He seemed willing to protect every creature he came across.

Even a crow.

Did he just feel sorry for her?

Or maybe…

Maybe he’s the only human capable of truly loving a crow.

TLDR; basic summary of an AU in which instead of a “crow born in a human body” Rue is… well, “a crow that can take the form of a human” similar to Ahiru/Duck. In fact it almost directly parallels Duck’s situation.

Here’s the thing though.

While Duck was always… well, a duck, Rue’s crow form is a result of a curse (or rather, if we want to abide by PT canon, an effect of the raven’s blood she was fed to as a baby) placed on her long ago (perhaps by the Raven himself).

And of course fairytale logic comes into play here; it can only be broken by true love. (And by the end, it does, thankfully.)

Actually, real question; in the second season, we see Mytho starting to physically transform into a crow after a certain period of time of exposure to the raven’s blood. Rue was apparently fed the raven’s blood when she was an infant. So why isn’t she a crow by now? Did the raven want her to maintain human form, or did it only affect her emotions and not her appearance? Who knows.

Anyway, that’s pretty much the basic gist of this AU so far. Might expand on it some more if people are interested.

Stupid tumblr tends to glitch and not let me edit my drafts for some damn reason so sorry for the inconvenience and that it took so long. I have to screenshot your ask and my response down. 😭😭😭

- Interestingly enough, Mag’s main motive is not really to gain more power. (It’s still one of the benefits though, so sure. He’ll take power. Yayyy.) But most of the evil actions he does is out of vengeance. Losing his village took its toll on him. The universe turned its back on him so he feels like he’s justified to take something back for himself.

So now, he finds pleasure in putting others under distress in the same way he used to be.

- So as I said in my previous point, Magnifico loves toying/playing with his victims. Giving them that fake sense of hope and security just to see their look when they realise they’ve been fooled. (But this hypocrite hates being the laughing end of that stick lmaooo)

- He can be superficially charming and manipulative to get what he wants. But it is relatively easy to break down his facade compared to Amaya because of his anger issues.

- He would project his own insecurities/issues towards other people to lower their own self-esteem. An “I’m down, so other people are coming down with me” mentality.

- Just like Star, and being a parallel of Star, Magnifico assumes that people only really like him for what he could offer them. So he could be already suspicious and assuming the worst whenever you ask him for a favour. It’s a contradicting feeling. One, he loves the attention. But on the other hand, he’s so pissy on how ungrateful people are and always expect something from him no matter how much he tries.

(Especially with his belief that his father only valued him as a potential heir and never really saw him as a son. This isn’t true. Oliver is just horrible at communication)

- I imagine Magnifico’s relationship with King Oliver is similar to Shen and his parents from KFP2. How both believed their parents “hated them” for never reaching what was expected of them.

- Magnifico is highly likely to underestimate things and can be impulsive. Amaya usually helps with giving him some second-thoughts and opinions before he could go and do something stupid.

- Mag smiles at the smallest compliments and gets a tiny bashful at certain flirts.

- Magnifico does get symptoms of PTSD from time to time. He can be set off just with the look of uncontrolled fire and he overthinks and gets stressed when things are beyond his control in the kingdom.

Since Navy(BB) is canon in my au, that also makes Armaros(the fallen angel bastard) canon. And I have… an interesting concept for Navy’s temporary death(which was canon form the OG mod, it’s not secret) in mind if I end up showing off the AU in comic format. 👀 (or I could just draw it regardless lmao)

Tabi is also canon, which I think I kinda mentioned at some point regarding Blue’s(BF’s) scars? He’s Sophie’s(GF) second Ex, her first being Spirit.

-Jimmy is Aeor, Grian is Exor(Listener and Watcher duo let's goooo) -Scott reincarnates and Jimmy tries to meet him in every world because the mf is in love with a mortal. -Grian is hunting Scott down after what happened in LL because the Watchers are pissed. Jimmy is trying to protect Scott. -The prophecy isn't true, it's just Jimmy trying to warn Scott. It doesn't end well as we see in canon -Scott is very much flattered with the fact that he managed to catch a God as a boyfriend -FINAL BATTLE SCENARIO WHERE GRIAN HAD ENOUGH AND APPEARS TO FINISH THE JOB, BUT JIMMY INTERVENES. -“Well, look who finally decided to show up,” Exor grins, fangs glinting in the light, “Hello, Timmy”

Jimmy scoffs. “Don't call me that.”

“Oh?” Exor tilts his head, an amused expression on his face. “Would you prefer ‘Aeor’?”

“Well now you made it worse,” Jimmy says with a roll of his eyes, gripping his sword tighter.

Dépaysement AU

-3L!Jimmy and E!Jimmy switching places around the time before the Kidnapping Rescue(Empires) and after the Burning of the Banner(3rd Life) -ngl I want this solely for the hilarious possibility of a sweet 3L!FH reunion meanwhile E!FH are being awkward AF -IMAGINE Grian somehow manages to open a portal to the Empires Dimension just in time for the final battle with Xornoth, 3L!gang(Grian, Scar, Joel, Scott) +E!Jimmy helping to defeat the demon and no one notices/cares that some random people are helping them. Then after all the chaos, as the smoke on the battlefield clears, 3L!Scott practically leaping into 3L!Jimmy's arms, both of them sobbing and whispering sweet nothings to each other. Scar is basically ugly crying about how cute they are, Grian and 3L!Joel as the "I am too single for this" gang, E!Jimmy going "This is so cursed but also so adorable, E!Scott being "What am I seeing and why do I kind of like it", and the entire Empires crew just being very fucking confused

Rogue AU

-Scott is a prince that got kidnapped but he somehow escaped and was found by Jimmy, who is a bandit/rogue -Jimmy helps Scott to get home and trying to convince himself he's doing it for the reward and not because he's very much in love with Scott -Idk man, just a fun episodic-ish type of fic where they go from town to town til they reach the capital -Healthy dose of yearning and falling into domesticity

Thinking about Jay and Morro being twins. And that Cliff Gordon is the master of wind

Rn my thinking is after Libber gave birth she knew Cliff didn't want any children let alone two. So she left Morro with Cliff because he looks like his dad (and his powers), hoping that Cliff would raise him. Unfortunately he did not, (and im between he left him with Wu, or gave him up to an orphanage until Wu found him similar to cannon. Idk u tell me which one u like)

And Libber left Jay with Ed and Edna, an older couple that she became good friends with during the Serpentine wars. Ed and Edna know who Libber is, but per her request never told Jay about her.

Also Morro doesn't die here (cause now I'm attached lol) instead he runs away tries to the fsm tomb before quitting and- honestly not super sure what he does. Maybe he makes a deal with the Preeminate or something. Idk

Also Wu doesn't know Jay and Morro are brothers, even tho they are twins they don't look anything alike. That would probably be something revealed next season, or if Libber comes back or somthing
