Devil’s Edge – Outlander – Large Bowie Fighting Knife
Tough, dependable and a vicious combatant, the Outlander Bowie is a large fighting knife ready to chop, cut, sever and puncture its way through any scrum. The blade has a thick spine for durability which also adds the mass needed to power it through decisive chops and the clipped-point tip is well-reinforced for powerful puncturing. The blade is tempered 1070 high carbon steel which is a fine balance between steel hardenability and resilience. The guard is solid brass and the grip features full-tang construction for the most robust construction possible. The composite grip is scales of brass and smooth-polished bone intersected with bold red Pakkawood. The elongated pommel greatly aids in keeping the Bowie in hand and a pre-drilled lanyard hole at the end of the blade tang complete the knife.
Included is a sheath of thick leather with durable dual-stitched construction, a belt loop and a brass buttoned retaining strap.

Somewhere on a cloud, a girl is waiting. She has been for months.
As the sun sets on Earth, a familiar voice speaks up--a put-on drawl that even now makes her laugh, despite everything.
“Well, hello again. Fancy meeting you in a place like this.” He finds her hand and kisses it. The drawl thins to something warmer. Truer. “Everyone sends their love.”
She knows. She wishes she could send it back. But there will be time enough for that. For now, though, won’t he sit here a while and tell her a story? This place has many things, but is so lacking for good storytellers. He figures he can stay a spell and accommodate her.
So they sit and he speaks and she hears how those who loved and were loved by her set out to slay a Dragon.

Spoilers for Glass Onion
So I watched Glass Onion today and the whole mystery of who done it is basically told to you if you know Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars plot
So Star plays when Birdie is twirling and Miles is poisoning Dukes glass. Star is a song about Ziggy, the titular character of the album, who wants to be famous and get money as the world ends. Now cause i’m dense and i put it together later I thought Birdie might’ve been “Ziggy” she did have the dress for it, but later in a flashback scene they play Starman when Miles is introduced to the group. Starman is basically a song that Ziggy sings in album as what he sees himself as a outta this world guy who basically graces the world with his presence, basically what egotistical to the max Miles sees himself as.
So this firmly establishes Miles as Ziggy a egotistical asshole who wants money and fame. The fame part is realllllly cemented with the fact that Miles wanted to be talked about in the same vain as the Mona Lisa. Now the thing about the album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is that in the song “Ziggy Stardust” it is revealed that Ziggy dies before the end of the world, brought down by his fans, Miles fans being Claire, Birdie, Lionel, and Whiskey who in the end of the movie agree to tell the truth and bring Miles down.
The whole movie really told to you in two songs if you have a little background knowledge about that album
Weirdest time for a hyperfixation from like 3ish years ago to come in handy

I mean...just look (it's not exact, but it's purely the vibes..)

This fighting dagger is constructed as durably as possible with a full tang construction with its carved wooden grip scales which are triple-riveted to the thick blade tang. So Close...
Tumblr media
Oh, if only Morris and Seward were with us. We must only hope!
Arthur and Jonathan have been ahead of Quincy and Jack for most of the journey, but the accident has left them so close to each other! So close, and yet they have no idea

i think it’s interesting that they play two david bowie songs in glass onion: “star” and “starman”. “star”, especially, stuck out to me, not just because it’s one of my favorites, but because a repeating line is “i could do with the money”… the song is about wanting to become a rockstar but being too poor. it really baffled me that miles was playing the song because he’s so rich and entitled. i think it’s because he’s so dumb and self-unaware that he doesn’t pay attention to the lyrics and just likes the song which… lol.

I never understood the "This is my Endgame joke" until now my whole family has gone to bed and I am sat up trying to figure out the Ziggy Stardust references in Glass Onion here is what I have so far (tipsy and incoherant):
There are a couple of references in set/script (paintings of Bowie/Ziggy and also the "you're an aligator" line), enough that the use of two of the songs in the soundtrack seem relevent- which could be a more general refence that the film follows the rise and fall of a character (Miles is bigged up to have a facade/ego with sort of mystical rock star energy). But more than that- Starman during scene where all the characters are gradually won over by him makes sense in that he seems to be "blowing their minds" in what he can achieve for them- also everyone dancing to Star feels relevent as there are five people mentioned in the first verse who all set out to 'conquer' in their own way. Also the fact that Alpha was set up between Miles/Andi feels like a parralel to Ziggy and Lady Star being two sides of the same coin (the band is "all together" when Lady is singing and in control and then the Spiders abandon him in the later tracks). Also to push the theory maybe too far- Nicholas Pegg is an author who has written extensively about David Bowie's works who is perhaps referenced by the character "Pegg" seeming to see straight through Miles' ego and not be fooled by his tricks.
ALSO I've seen some theories on the relevance of "Blackbird" being played on the guitar but none seem to mention that the guitar line is actually a Bach piece which references the Fugue puzzle in the box at the start of the film (also that the guitar line is a "stolen" line just like all of Miles' ideas).
Anyway I thought all of these clues where gonna mean I could guess the ending lol should have known I was wrong but I do think these are fantastic easter eggs even if I've gone a bit nuts looking for relevance. Had to get this out somewhere ahahaha

Buck - Buckmaster 184 Knife - 1984 First Production 😎 Follow us 👉@coltelleriacollini👈 Order on: www.knives.it . Knife withdrawn from private collection, dates from the very first production in 1984 (in fact, it does not indicate the patent engravings, affixed in 1985 and does not indicate the production date, affixed only from 1986). Globally in good condition, it has marks on the blade and handle due to the normal passage of time and the very aggressive scabbard which, containing a spring-loaded metal foil, irreparably scratches the blade both in insertion and extraction - It still has the factory sharpening and comes with a compass in the tang and two harpoons already engaged on the guard branch; lacking instead the box and additional accessories - Checked and certified by our in-house laboratory. . #madeinusa #buckmaster #bowie #coltelleriacollini #fixed #buck #collezione #knives #vintage #navyseals #buckusa #machete #survival #campeggio #jungle #knifelife #knifeaddicts #knivesweekly #knivesofinstagram🔪 (presso Coltelleria Collini) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce-mAD5oeQW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
