The aftermath of the party left Nadine and Reed in a surprisingly good place, all things considered. She claimed the only way out was through and yet, it was after she’d hit Nadine post-Panic that’d kickstarted their rekindling, and then again, when she hit Bryson, it’d opened a dialogue to be honest with one another. (And they say violence isn’t the answer.) Bryson was an unfortunate casualty, though she couldn’t say he didn’t deserve it, and she kept her word to see him the following day. “Huh. That’s better than I thought,” she said as she reached out to brush the mark on his cheek with her thumb. He might’ve been well-intentioned in pushing him and Reed together but he still pushed, just like his intentions were good when he’d got into it with that uber in California, too. None of that changed the fact that she cared about him though, and that she liked feeling cared for. “You couldn’t just keep your mouth shut?” Her tone was more affectionate than it was hostile, hand sliding to caress the side of his face. @brysonlahey​

It's really important for me to address this: Going forward, I want NOTHING to do with you or anyone affiliated with you and the Bryson family anymore. I'm currently taking medication and going to therapy from all the abuse I had to put up with all these years ago. Because of my lack of voice on my part as a minor, my mental health and well-being has taken a drastic toll to the point where I had wanted to end my life. I don't understand why you would possibly be so hellbent on reaching out to me knowing what you all have done to me back then. Was it because you're seeking my forgiveness?... Because I no longer have room in my heart to do that anymore. You know I never belonged with you guys in your little clique, and I've clearly understood that by now. Perhaps you all might have changed since we last saw each other and I genuinely want to believe that, but the damage has already been done, and I just want to move on from this part of my life. You really don't want me to tell your children what kind of people you all were to me, so if you know what's good for you and your family, then just let me close this chapter for good.
