Another Warrior Cats rarepair comic: PrincessXDustpelt <3

The more I think about them the more bummed I am it did not happen in canon. A grumpy character with a more naive and sweet one is already cute but extra layer of comedy when its making a former bully awkward in-laws with our poor protagonist. Also step-dad Dustpelt and Cloudkit interactions are funny to me as well since that little shit is my favorite character. <3

Other thoughts- Fireheart is so stressed and anxious durning this period of the series since he's already dealing with Tigerclaw being deputy and knowing his secret, plus Graystripe sneaking off to see Silverstream.

Personally a bit more of a sapphic Princess enjoyer myself (Sandstorm and/or Silverstream would be cute) but this would fix the Erin's 'Dustpelt didn't get a mate :( "'problem" without pairing him up with an apprentice. My HCs for them are trans man and bisexual Dustpelt and pansexual Princess.

Ooohhhh so much happening-

Thornkit has an issue with speech? Was it something that resulted in birth or did he picked up from his brother Snowkit? The only reason i think it could be the latter is because I had the same issue cause my brother couldn’t hear the greatest when we were kids.

Also loving this Cloudtail. First of all flame point is giga brained, but also he’s cute? Just stares and goes “You’re tall/short” what a cutie. Though him being a flame-point is also a sad thing because Fireheart pointed out he wouldve passed as a ThunderClan cat otherwise. Is that why Darkstripe and Halftail keep looking at him suspiciously.

Forever marked by something pointing to his origin </3. At least Halftail seemed to have warmed up a tad by the end since it said warmth filled the elders eyes. I’m gonna guess the elders haven’t seen a pointed cat in the Clans tho since they seemed surprised by his appearance.

Also Swift and Cinder! They had their pilgrimage! Who were they blessed by? And since Cinderpaw was blessed, I’m going to guess Seer Apprentices are typically blessed by the Three?

Thornkit's just got a speech impediment! He actually has a harder time communicating to Snowkit for that reason. Snowkit's kind of able to read lips, and Thornkit's mumbling and slurring definitely makes that hard.

As for Cloudkit's pointing, that was Lynx's idea, and I very much like it myself! It helps set him apart from the other white cats in the Clan(s) as well as, like you said, ensuring everyone knows he's got kittypet blood in him. Good narrative stuff.

Finally, Swiftpaw was blessed by Horoa, and Cinderpaw by Suriin! Seer apprentices most often get blessed by Rokhar, traditionally, but Yellowfang is anything but traditional and felt her little dolt of an apprentice was going to need as much wisdom as she could get. Honestly, I kind of agree with her.
