you're the Fair Lady's replacement, a good fit too, with your calm and reasonable demeanor- perfect for diplomacy, perhaps even better than the late La Signora herself in that category. while you can't say that you're rivals or at odds with any of your coworkers, you certainly aren't close to them either; you're all very private people, preferring to work alone, which is fitting since you all have different duties corresponding to your rank. so no, you can't say that any of the other Harbingers are your friends

well. except, maybe, for Tartaglia

the Eleventh began pestering you the moment you joined the ranks, asking you to spar or train or help him with weaponry. why? who knows. your expertise lies in negotiating and forging connections with other nations, mostly for Snezhnaya's benefit of course, not battles or sparring, and you tell him as such. eventually he does settle down but still sticks to you like glue when both of you are at Headquarters, talking your ear off as you listen and in return allowing you to speak the few words that you have to say- to be frank, you find his stories much more interesting than your relatively routine Harbinger duties, yet whenever you do speak up Tartaglia hangs onto your every word, deep azure eyes wide and earnest

he even trusts you enough to show you Foul Legacy, the monstrous Abyssal creature ironically sweeter and gentler than his human counterpart, delicately sniffing you and nuzzling his face against your hair with a soft purr when you first meet. he's vaguely aware of how dangerous Tartaglia's work is so Legacy ALWAYS frets over you when you're gone, even if Tartaglia repeatedly tells him that your job is not the same as his, and immediately when you return to Snezhnaya you're pulled aside by a certain ginger-haired Harbinger, a goofy smile on his face as he squeezes you tight before willingly relinquishing his body to Foul Legacy, who immediately bumps his forehead against yours and rumbles in delight. he loves listening to you speak, so he tugs you onto his lap and nudges your hand until you tell him about your travels, voice calm and steady as he absorbs every word you say, somewhere deep in Zapolyarny Palace <3

not to qsmp purgatory post in the month of our lord december 2023, but genuine question for soulfire mains:

i've seen a lot of fanposting about soulfire being connected to ice symbolically the way bolas was to gas, how much of that symbolism was directly pushed or reinforced by the ccs?

as a bolas main, i can think of blue's spawn being a frozen hellscape, bad wearing the freeze armor 24/7, and bad finding green's base with the ice from a blizzard event!

Imagine bigboy Legacy like... y'know bees kind of flutter their wings to be warmer?? However that works, but like if moth could do that then!! Just imagine like you're cold and he hugs you, snuggles you into his fur and flutters his wings, if he usually runs warm, now he's almost a personal warmer!!

He'd be so happy in winter because he know that you always snuggle a bit deeper into the hug because you're cold.

And also, Ajax sometimes replicates that by stuffing you into his thick harbinger coat and sharing his scarf until all that's left uncovered is your eyes<3

Legacy will notice that you're shivering in the cold weather and quickly scoops you up, wrapping his arms around you and gently pushing your head against his lilac fluff as his wings start fluttering around you. suddenly his body begins to warm, the normally chilly armor becoming comfortably toasty, and with a relieved hum you lean further against him, cheek squishing against his fur. he'll do this even when you're inside- his instincts tell him that because it's winter, he should curl around you and keep you warm at all times!! you're a fragile mortal, he doesn't want you getting sick. so it's not uncommon for him to sneak up from behind you and drape his arms over your shoulders, his chin on your head as he flutters his wings and purrs to warm you up, even though you're sitting in front of the fireplace (it leads to naps very often, but you're not complaining)

and Ajax is more than used to frigid temperatures, being from Snezhnaya and all- but you're not! whatever shall he do! truly, he didn't use his Harbinger coat outside of official meetings before meeting you, but he can't resist anymore after seeing you bundled in it one day by chance, so when he takes you to visit his family he makes sure to bring the coat along as well. sure enough, you let out a sneeze before you even disembark the ship, the jacket you brought not thick enough to withstand the icy Snezhnayan weather. Ajax gives you a mischievous grin before tossing his Harbinger coat over your shoulders, buttoning it up so it comes up to your nose despite your protests. he practically melts at the sight of you in all those layers, a walking marshmallow, and from the way he chitters and croons Ajax knows Legacy is happy with the sight, too

perhaps he'll have a custom coat made for you, so you can be matching and warm at the same time!
