Rhea is one of those characters to me where like. I’m not a 100% Ede/lgard “apologist” like in the kinda jokey sense but I think it’s cool if people are 👍 like legitimately. but I am 100% one of those for Rhea. I think she was right to lie hide the truth and commit those atrocities and she should do it again. Tbh. She was correct

Character opinion bingo: since you mentioned the WB, is Dawson’s Creek in your knowledge base? Do Pacey Witter!
Pacey Witter can do no wrong (other than some of those homophobic jokes toward Doug but he was supportive of Jack so I think that was more about his brother/the time and I bet he feels like a jackass for it now.)
Like, no wonder Katie Holmes entered into some weird Scientology contract with Tom Cruise. Playing Joey was the closest you could ever be to being with Pacey and Pacey would ruin you for all other men. Who wouldn’t commit to Xenu at that point?
Pacey took his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him to the prom because his asshole former best friend was holding the girl he loved emotionally hostage. Which Dawson was able to do because Pacey wouldn’t force Joey to choose between them because he was amazing. He apologized to Dawson a bunch of times even though Dawson was a piece of shit. He bought Joey a wall! He saved her family’s bed and breakfast! He promised Jen her baby would never be alone.
Also, please note that Josh and his wife Jodie are so fucking cute and in love that I don’t know who I am more jealous of.

What an interesting topic. I’ve heard that a large percentage of employees cite their bosses as the reason they leave their jobs. What are some ways companies try to mitigate this?
They don't.
I can really only answer for my company, which cared about retention (of employees) a lot. Many companies do, because it costs much less to recruit/onboard/train as little as possible, and because it can be hard to get the work done without adequate staffing. I'd add that my company had one area in which staffing was a nation-wide crisis; also my company was in the public sector and was in the press a lot, which mean they cared about their image.
They still didn't do that much to ensure that people had good bosses. That has less to do with this company and more to do with the structure of business in capitalist society. This is a big reason HR is never going to be that helpful unless you've got a tiny company that, completely by luck, has mostly good folks.
A company isn't going to take a generalized point about folks leaving their job because they don't like their bosses as fact. Companies feel they are too diverse and the financial risk is too great to pour money into something if they don't have hard data, so the first step to retention is getting data. You would think exit interviews would be really informative, but those require a lot of time which equals staff which equals money. Some employers do them but mine would only do one if you asked, and then they did nothing with the info. This is because the company's mentality was "well, if you're leaving you're probably really dissatisfied and we don't want to hear about that." I know this makes no sense. But in general, not just in the business but in this society (formed by capitalism), the idea seems to be if you're dissatisfied it's your fault. Meanwhile the company is interested in data about why people stay; they figure if folks are satisfied, that's the company's fault and they want to keep doing the same so they can retain employees.
Our company had a huge employee satisfaction survey they did every year that included questions about employee opinions about the company, their colleagues, and their bosses. You get emails to remind you to take it and if you can't get time in the workday, bosses are supposed to allow time for it. Some problems with that are you still have to remember to take it; if you don't have time you have to ask a boss you might not like to get that time; some folks at my company literally had jobs that literally are life or death so it can be hard to take time to take a survey; the survey is only in English; the survey is only in the computer; the reminders are only in email. So you have to be a moderately good English speaker who regularly checks email and knows how to use a computer and gets regular access to a computer for the company to get your data about your satisfaction. As you can imagine, our most vulnerable employees often get missed.
If the survey showed that folks were really dissatisfied with a particular boss, that boss got put into a series of trainings. Training is good, but US businesses (and plenty of employees themselves) seemed to have latched onto the idea that training is the be-all, end-all of improvement. Many of us saw this in response to the discussions about EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) that came about in 2020; business promised to be anti-racist and had some EDI seminars to prove it, and that was all. Why is it like this? What is really needed to make bosses better bosses? And why isn't that being done?
When it comes to "why is it like this": recruiting and retaining good leaders is hard. The way someone becomes a boss in almost any organization is a) management likes them, and/or b) they were good at a job in a lower level or different department, or c) they come from the outside with a good resume and what sounds like good experience. But a lot of time, management likes people who aren't disruptive, and sometimes folks who aren't disruptive are the folks who are not thinking for themselves and not asking questions and doing everything the way they're told even when it doesn't make sense. That doesn't make a good leader. As for folks who are good at the lower level job in the hierarchy or in another department, they aren't always good at managing. It's a different skill set, but I've seen a lot of leaders and employees make this mistake. They think that that the folks who are great at the job should be promoted, and honestly that really doesn't make sense. And last but not least, folks who get hired from the outside are a complete crapshoot, because experience with leadership does not necessarily a good leader make.
As for what is needed to make bosses better bosses, imo what you would really need is someone embedded within the department who is managed by the boss and is doing the same work as the other employees, but also has the training and experience to evaluate what the boss is doing well and isn't doing well, and then also has the authority and buy-in to work with the boss so that the boss can shadow and learn the leadership skills they need. Then, if the boss can't improve, there would need to be the will within the org to fire or demote that boss, and often that will doesn't exist because recruiting bosses is so hard and the training is usually monumental.
Side note, what I'm describing is what consultants should do and normally don't. Consultants come in and ask a lot of questions and do focus groups and maybe some observations, but they are not in there doing the work understanding what it is like to live in this world, and without that I frankly find a lot of the work they do useless. That said, consultants are almost always hired to identify inefficiencies; they're not really there to make it a more satisfying job. Imo, the greatest efficiency is a satisfied worker, but it is hard to get the data to point that way, and again, companies only want data, and again, your dissatisfaction is your own fault.
Another side note, this is why unions are so great. Union stewards are folks who work for the company but can act as a union representative. This means they're embedded in the department and doing the work everyone does, but they can also at times step outside that role and carry the authority of an outside entity that does have some power to use against the employer. This is why all employees should have a union.
So, why aren't companies doing this? As you can imagine, hiring the ambassador to embed within a department, training them, paying them for their time--all of these are just too cost prohibitive to justify when they only thing you're getting out of it is employee satisfaction. It is also possible to improve employee satisfaction by paying employees more, which is in fact why I stayed in this job I hated as long as I did. I was getting paid so much that it just did not make sense to walk away without a firm plan in place. In the end, paying employees more costs less than ensuring they have a good boss.
I have lots more to say about this, but I've said a lot already, so if anyone has follow up questions, feel free to send more asks.

Yes please!! It’d be so cute to see Harry really step up and become the very doting father figure, super cautious with the kid and turning very silly while playing games. While y/n is just watching it all happen and getting more of a crush on her baby daddy. They’d be so cute 🥰
this is a lil bit longer than I anticipated it being fjsjsksjdjs and I also changed some things around butttttt I hope u enjoy !!!!!! . . .
”What if she doesn’t like me?”
“Harry, she’s three.”
“Three year olds have opinions.”
Y/N sighs as she twists her hair up into a claw clip. She notices his grip tighten on the steering wheel as he pulls into the driveway of her sister’s house, where they’re spending the night babysitting her niece.
(What had started out as a favor for her sister was now an experiment in co-parenting and toddler communication skills — once Harry found out she was doing this, he wanted in. And frankly, it was damn near impossible to say no to him, especially since he had a minimum of two parenting books on him at all times.)
“You’ll be fine. Stop stressing.” She mumbles when he puts the car in park, climbing out of the car, a hand pressed against her budding stomach. She’s a few weeks out from her fifth month, nearly halfway through, and her bump seems to be growing by the day — not that Harry’s complaining.
With their bags over his shoulder, Y/N’s sister, Rena, answers the door as they’re approaching it. She’s sweet — much friendlier than Y/N — and doesn’t mention anything about their unusual circumstances, much to Harry’s relief. She gives them a rundown of everything they need to know (she and her partner are going away for the weekend), complete with a 5-page packet on the dining room table consisting of Eden, Y/N’s niece, favorite foods, nighttime routine, and the names of her stuffed animals.
It’s all going pretty well until Rena and her boyfriend attempt to leave. That’s when the breakdown ensues.
It’s a mess of ear piercing screams and crying on Eden’s behalf. Every time Rena tries to put her down, her chubby little hands just grip her shirt tighter, burying her face into her neck through her loud wales.
“Edie, c’mon baby,” Y/N tries to soothe her, doing her best to maneuver her little body from Rena’s to hers, “Mommy and daddy are gonna be back so soon! In the meantime, you get to have fun with me and Uncle Harry!”
Harry’s heart swells at that and he clears his throat, stepping forward.
“Eden, I know it’s scary. We all get a little nervous sometimes.” He murmurs, testing the waters by reaching out to smooth his palm over her messy hair, “Right, Y/N?”
“Auntie Y/N gets nervous all the time, bug. But I promise, we’re gonna have the best night together.”
Eden sniffles, eyes peering over her mother’s shoulder to size Harry up. Finally, she loosens the fist clutching her shirt.
“Uncle Harry, do you like Peppa Pig?”
. . .
Rena and her boyfriend all but made a run for it the second Eden showed some sort of comfort. As soon as she allowed her mom to put her down, she wrapped her fingers around Harry’s hand and guided him to the living room, requesting that he put Peppa Pig on. The more he showed interest, the more she trusted him — currently, they were playing princess tea party, with a tiara tucked into Harry’s curls as they sip imaginary concoctions to the tune of Peppa’s snorts.
“Edie, it’s time to get ready for bed,” Y/N says sometime around 7:30. Per the packet left by Rena, her usual bedtime is 7, but Harry pushed her off for another half an hour.
“No!” Eden immediately yelps with a stubborn shake of her head.
“We can keep playing tomorrow, bug—“
“Not sleepy!” She exclaims, even though her eyes are already hazy with exhaustion.
“Eden, it’s past your bedtime. It’s time to go upstairs.”
For the second time that day, Eden begins to wale in Y/N’s face. Her lips part and Harry watches on as her cheeks redden, his stomach tight with anxiety from the discomfort of the situation.
“Why don’t we just start with brushing our teeth and putting our jammies on?” Harry speaks up, “You can pick out a book to read, too.”
In classic toddler fashion, her cries immediately cease and she nods her head sadly, her bottom lip formed in a pout. He chuckles at that and Y/N swallows a sigh, standing from the couch.
“No!” Eden suddenly exclaims, and Harry’s stomach drops again, “Want Uncle Harry. Not Auntie Y/N.”
Y/N blinks before sitting back down, giving a curt nod to Harry.
“Go ahead. I’ll be fine.”
Feeling guilty, he nods, accepting Eden’s small hand in his as they go upstairs to her bedroom.
. . .
Y/N has never cried in front of Harry, but she supposed there’s a first for everything.
When he comes back down from putting Eden to sleep, she can’t even pretend like her eyes aren’t watery, cheeks stained with salty tears and a tired chest from keeping her sobs silent. As soon as he sets his eyes on her, he rushes over, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
“Shhh,” he murmurs into her hair, “Breathe, Y/N, you’re okay.”
“I’m— I’m gonna be s-such a shit mom!”
His heart breaks and he shakes his head, holding her even tighter to his chest.
“Don’t say that, it’s not even close to the truth. You’re gonna be amazing.”
“S-she hates me though! And she loves you! That’s what the next 18 years a-are gonna be!”
“Y/N,” Harry sighs, leaning down to catch her eyes. He presses a gentle thumb to her face, wiping away the fallen tears. “She’s a toddler. She’ll hate me tomorrow and forget who I am in a week. Three is a tough age, I just finished the toddler chapter in that parenting book I’m reading.”
She swallows a hiccup, smiling gently. His recent addiction to parenting books always makes her laugh, even if she teases him about them all the time.
A silence takes over as he continues rubbing small circles between her shoulder blades. She sniffles periodically before peering up at him through slightly damp eyelashes.
“Do your parenting books say anything about ordering ice cream for dessert?”
A dimpled smirk appears on his face. “Mm, not sure. I brought a few, we can look through them together.”

i have never been so convinced that we are gonna get a buddie feelings reveal/realization (probably from buck), and yes it’s because of the vertigo poster.
if y’all are like me and have never seen vertigo before, i did a lil deep dive into it and here’s what i found and how it relates to the vertigo poster that tim dropped.
so in vertigo, scottie (eddie) basically falls in love with this woman madeleine (shannon) who ends up dying right in front of him. while he’s ‘recovering’ from her death, he meets judy (kim), who looks exactly like madeleine and he basically tries to force judy to become her.
however this is not the important part of the whole vertigo thing, that’s just pointing out how similar this eddie storyline already is to the movie.
the important thing is the poster (which @911bts has posted). on the bottom, it has a bunch of names, which for the most part are all names of people who worked on the original vertigo movie. except one. barbara bel geddes is switched to oliver stark which is sooooo significant, specifically because it was so unnecessary (it could have easily been switched to edy or just not been switched at all). this is so significant because barbara bel geddes played midge, scottie’s ex-fiancee who still has feelings for him. midge is the character who is always there for scottie, always tries to do what’s best for him, and is trying to make him fall in love with her again. in my opinion, midge also represents a type of love that scottie isn’t necessarily ready for. in the movie that love is a more mature settled down type of love, however i do think its can easily be translated into eddie not being ready at this moment in the show to love another man.
also here are a couple little screenshots from some analyses about midge that i think are just a little too similar to the eddie storyline right now

so anyways buck pining era is cominggggg

Mordor says He returned only for Visa reasons. They did some math and understood that Sam had been there for almost 90 days, só It was time for a quick walk home.
Dear Visa Anon,
Which Mordor luminary came with this idea? The MENSA-level CRT Clique or Miss Marple, who thinks I know nothing (the Dimwit from Madrid is still learning how to spell, so I can't believe it's her)?
Regardless. These people should immediately stop watching Ninety-Day Fiancé on their cable network, following a severe overdose on Uzbek midgets and Egyptian gigolos 'looking for true love' stories.
Maybe they could also have checked their facts before solemnly stating bullshit, since they clearly think all the visitors to the wonderful U S of A are tourists and as such, entitled to a maximum 90-day stay at a time (and then a short hike to Tijuana or Canada and back on tracks: not EDI/GLA, FFS!).
Incidentally, may I remind these geniuses that S has been spotted only near EDI, which of course would mean for them he'd be getting his visa there. Unless...
Tumblr media
Unless you know the US General Consulate in EDI does not issue any type of visas - LOL, idiots. And unless he'd need to be in LHR for the pre-appointed interview and then another 7 working days delay for processing and 1-3 working days for passport delivery by mail only (never in person, chickadees). Doesn't really click with timelines, Madam Expert.
Because they are all very intelligent, they also forgot everything about/never bothered to look for the new-ish ESTA system (https://www.handyvisas.com/esta-us-visa/british/), especially designed for Visa Waiver countries' citizens. So I insist: if traveling as a tourist, S does not need a visa to enter the US for up to 90 days - that is correct, but by no means applicable to S's reality. And if he knew he'd need to stay more than 90 days, he would have applied for a visa - mandatory - in London before the Summer of Sassenach tour.
But he is not traveling as a tourist and very probably not under another type of non-immigrant visa, simply because he has businesses there and he is also involved in the OL project with *** (d'oh!).
Let's unpack:
As per US current regulations, S cannot apply for a B-1 (business non immigrant visa). To understand why, kindly refer to the US Customs and Border Protection FAQ (https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/B-1%20permissible%20activities.pdf). I already munched it up for you:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He could only apply for a O-1 B immigration visa, for which his agent or employer should mandatorily petition the US Citizenship and Immigration Services. These are special visas designed for the individual who (...) has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements. This is very subjective and a contract with * should be enough - I was in a taxi when I received your ask and immediately checked with a friend from the US Consulate, to indulge you. And all this hassle just because a Tumblr Nobody has flatulent opinions, huh?
According to the USCIS's own regulations, not Dutch fantasy or Belfast sagas, the authorized period of stay and possibility of extension are as follows (https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/temporary-workers/o-1-visa-individuals-with-extraordinary-ability-or-achievement):
Tumblr media
The good thing about getting this visa (and I think * sorted it out a long time ago for both of them) is that it helps tremendously with the Green Card procedures, something I bet the farm both S & C already have, by now.
So doing the maths was perfectly inane and useless.
Does that answer your question, clever Anon? Can I go back to the Quaich post I must finish (it will be VERY long, beware) today?
Thanks for asking and I am sorry for the length: this fandom being paranoid, I had to include all the tedious details. I hope we can put this idiocy to rest, now. Parochial twits.

Which ME3 ending do you prefer and why? I like your kindness, and I wonder how that showed up in your ME3 ending choice.
thank u. Between Destroy and Control (Synthesis is a nonserious choice as far as I'm concerned), I like the Control ending better, because:
- it makes the whole quarian-geth peaceful reconciliation actually mean something for both people moving forwards into an uncertain future, instead of just being like "lol j/k all the geth are dead now anyway I guess" - Shepard dying in a grand self-sacrificing way at the end of the trilogy makes a lot of thematic sense and makes a great dramatic finish, instead of just being like "lol j/k they're alive it's fine yayyy Shepard!"
- now the Reapers imbued with Shep's will or consciousness or whatever supposedly happened can be called the Shepherds by future generations, and it's like a neat pun that now can have been foreshadowed since the beginning of the trilogy - after all of EDI's two-game journey and character development and affirmation of her personhood, she doesn't have to collapse and die like a puppet with her strings cut without getting to even have an opinion about it. I agree with some people's argument that she would choose to die for the cause anyway, but it still bothers me that that choice is taken from her in Destroy. and that's it! Way, way too much digital ink already has and continues to be spilled about how the Mass Effect endings did or did not disappoint and fail and what each of them "means" and which is "the best one" and it's actually kind of tiring when there are so many other aspects to the series that are more fun to discuss, so this is all I will or want to say about them. Thank you for asking me, though-- I appreciate it!

Watch us be panicking over nothing, but if it does go down THAT route, I'm done! I don't want a show claiming to be inclusive of everyone and everything to have a woman who is so horrible on a show like that
Hi anon!
Personally I’m less panicking more vomiting at seeing edy onscreen and poor Eddie in comp het prison (I’m gonna get you out of there one of these days buddy I swear😭🫶)
I think I’m like 95% certain that like everything so far indicates to me that they’re not writing Marisol to stay
Like first of all I’m pretty sure tim flat out said he didn’t originally want her back and that he just didn’t want two offscreen break ups in s7 and Natalia’s actress couldn’t come back
Like he’s made his disdain abt the end of s6 VERY clear
He then turns around and puts no effort into making Marisol even appear like she MIGHT stay because he gives her no last name, no personality and what can only be referred to as a gag as her main storyline
And then he has bobby flat out call Eddie out and say that he hasn’t said anything/ spoke about her in a way that makes him think he wants her to move in and that he has no trouble committing to other things so what is REALLY the issue (her) I mean Eddie fumbled with understanding bobby again but it’s the thought that counts🤷🏽‍♀️
Plus I think they are WELL aware of the fans opinions of edy so from a purely business perspective- if an actress who is not a series regular or even a significant character and whatever form of contract you have with her is presumably coming to an end and she’s causing you trouble and getting you bad publicity you will cut her at the first opportunity (and you would be very dumb not to, ESPECIALLY FOR ONE YOU DIDN’T WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE)
Also on a more general note the stills are almost ALWAYS a red herring that make 20+ theories and 100+ rants and then turn out to be something completely and utterly different so until we actually see content in the episodes that indicate to us that Marisol even stands a chance to stay fr then I’m gonna continue to believe that one day soon I’ll be free from seeing edy’s stupid transphobic face on my screen with her annoying voice that puts Janice from friends to shame
BAJDKMF SORRY FOR THE LONG REPLY ANON I JUST REALLY HATE THAT HOMOPHOBIC TRANSPHOBIC WOMAN

I so agree with everything you said. The difference of reactions when you didn't ship their previous relationship vs when you don't ship B/T is very telling (same with the fact that when some people talked about a cheating storyline, the reactions were always "it would be bad for Buck to do this to Tommy" but apparently it would have been okay if Eddie did this to a woman?? okay lmao)
What I don't understand is how people say that it's Buck's most developed LI/relationship. Like? We don't know that much about him. People have created (themselves and via the actor's cameos) lots of headcanons but that doesn't mean that they are canon.
To me, he really still feels like a love interest device for now. Like with the scene of the kiss in the last episode, they could have include some mentions of another date, whether past or a future one, but they didn't. The kiss was just there to be able to have Buck come out to the rest of the family, but it didn't bring anything more about B/T (we don't know if they saw each other since the coffee date/if it was their second kiss or if there was already more).
Literally. Like, look, I will say one thing, if buddie had hooked up at that bachelor party only one person would be cheating and that's Eddie. Buck and Tommy did not have a we're exclusive talk. They actually had a we can figure things out as we go talk. Personally, I don't think that counts as an we are together conversation, but that's my opinion. But either way no one seemed to care about the Eddie side of it. Eddie who is literally in a relationship serious enough he asked her to move in with him the episode before. But sure, that doesn't count because they hate Edy and forget Marisol exists (I do too, but I spent the whole time saying we shouldn't make the bisexual dude help his best friend cheat because I did not forget Eddie would be cheating and that would be bad no matter what). And to say T is the most developed love interest is a straight up lie. Taylor had a whole season as Buck's friend before they got together. She had a personality, flaws, qualities, she even got her very own tragic background episode. Say what you want about anything, and yes they sucked as a couple, but bucktaylor was developed. On screen. To a point where if the show actually wanted to, which they clearly didn't because they used the s4 Taylor development to stir her away from Buck instead of closer, they could've made bucktaylor work, they just had to make her as intense about Buck as she is with the job, and they could've been a very interesting golden retriever boyfriend/black cat girlfriend dynamic (good god I can't believe this fandom is making me defend fucking bucktaylor). Buck and T had one scene alone before they were kissing. Tommy has no established personality. Pretty much everything about him besides the begins episodes part of him (that dont paint him in the best light) we learned second hand. Through interviews. It's not even things that are being said to the audience in the show. I'm pretty sure the only things we learned from the show are the way he's a pilot, he was in the army, he likes wrestling, cars, and basketball. I could be wrong, fandom annoyed me so much I blackout every time I see him at this point. But he's not developed? He's just a guy? Don't get me wrong, he could be developed. There is space for it. But right now, he is there to serve as a device for Buck to find his bisexuality and that's it. They kissed twice. They went on half a date T left in the middle of. They went out for coffee and decided to figure things out as they went. He was at the hospital after the wedding to work as a way for Buck to come out without making him go around telling everyone. He exists around Buck. And that's it. Personally I don't see the endgame material people keep seeing. I don't see the development either. And anyone can headcanon anything, really go off, have fun with your ship, but people seriously need to stop acting like what Lou is saying in cameos counts as canon. Being in the fandom right now is exhausting because people just decided things about T and BT that are not backed by canon and they get real aggressive if you don't agree. I seriously am dying to see what's gonna happen if canon goes against the idealized version of him fanon created. I don't know if it's gonna happen but by god will I be entertained by it if it does.

Mako Mori from Pacific Rim for the charecter bingo ask please!

Hi @folk-melody
Based on my Wiki research, I’m filing the adoption papers. I’m sort of side eyeing her adopted family. They seem to sideline or be jealous of her, which is not cool because she seems kick ass. I feel like I could give her a more supportive family structure.
Thanks for the ask!!!

Your post flips and flops between Buddie fans not contributing much to the whole demographic and Buddie fans having enough influence for abc to bother with being petty over the noise.
Okay, first off, it's called jokes. Secondly. Uh, did you miss the part where the show runner *just* said there was a point in the story where he willingly backed off of putting them in scenes together because he got tired of heating about "queerbaiting" or...? Buddie fans do not contribute to the whole demographic. That is a fact. That is why Tommy wasn't actually written out after 7x06. (So sorry about that, I know y'all were taking the four episode arc as gospel :/) That is why all the bitching about Edy keeping her job over the hiatus didn't actually do anything and didn't get her written out in 7x05. But what Buddie fans ARE capable of is turning Tim and Oliver and Ryan away from Buddie. Tim just confirmed it. Oliver's confirmed it in the past when he didn't want to support any fanart or comments because he knew it would turn into him "giving hints" (but he's now saying he's made peace with fandom coming to their own conclusions regardless of what he thinks). Ryan is confirming his mind ain't there yet in his own way when he's stressing the importance of male platonic friendship and reminding fandom Buddie can't happen just because you want it to. Spamming instagram posts, leaving nasty comments, making assumptions about Lou (and at times outright harassing him) just because he's not the LI Buddie fandom insists on...those things are not going to make ABC or anyone else involved in creating the story go for Buddie. (What happened when spoilers were posted? Nothing. Bi Buck still happened as intended. Tommy still stayed.) It's going to make them question whether they truly care at all about your opinions when all these other people are able to appreciate the work put into it without assuming there's romantic and sexual undertones to be uncovered. (And so far, they don't!)

I don’t think she was 100% confirmed to be filming last night or not in all honesty- I blocked her transphobic ass a while ago so the only information i get about her whereabouts on set are from what i’m told by other people, but i think the big theory going around right now is that she always posts after others post about being on set, and people think she may be piggybacking trying to make it look like she’s there when she actually isn’t… of course this is just a theory and like i said i blocked her. a while ago so i don’t see her posts to confirm nor deny the plausibility of this, but knowing her attention-seeking attitude i wouldn’t put it past her.
And i would not fear too much anon, actors are often contracted for a specific number of episodes, so her being there does not mean her days aren’t numbered. Obviously we don’t know anything for sure, but I have my own theories- we know the time that she posted herself crying on her story and then started talking about auditioning again was around the time the show was picked up for season 8, so obviously contracts would begin being discussed at that time. My personal opinion is that she was told then that she would not be returning for season 8, and that is what sparked this attempt to stay relevant in the fandom (following cast members she never followed before, constantly posting about being on set and how “thankful” she is to have a job, interacting with people bashing the show for being “too gay,” etc.) to me it all reads as someone who is desperately trying to cling to the quickly unraveling thread that is her place on that show and it’s only a matter of time before she’s gone.
i mean ryan himself called her a ‘filler’ relationship for eddie. even the plotlines she’s been involved in this season she’s barely been there. eddie was quite literally on the verge of breaking up with her in 7x5 before his advice to buck made him decide to simply start over their relationship. My theory now is that “ghost of a second chance” has a double meaning of us seeing the ghost of a past relationship that eddie is still grappling with (maybe shannon, maybe someone else…. an old “army buddy” perhaps who he had never really understood his feelings for?) while also pertaining to the “second chance” he gave their relationship being dead. I mean the man brought his grandmother who lives in texas to his coworker’s wedding, and he barely trusts her with his kid (christopher is always being watched by someone else, he says things like “she’s already babysat this week” as if watching your significant other’s children is a burden to her) and like i said he was on the verge of ending things in 7x5…. i think it’s safe to say that their relationship is bones, and there’s no other logical direction for them to take it in, considering the fact that marisol is barely a character anyway, the fans don’t like e*y (for good reason), and they know that if they try to keep her on they will receive backlash (which we know tim sees after the karaoke debacle)
i am fully preaching to the choir here, because i have massive anxiety and the constant stress of speculating about where eddie’s (and buck’s) story goes is something that always runs my nerves up a wall… for reasons i won’t get into, eddie is a character i relate to deeply and i want to see his storyline handled with care and attention, so while the idea of the show sticking him with something as lackluster as marisol (played by a problematic untalented actress) obviously makes me stress out too, i try my best to remind myself just how little sense narratively it would make sense to keep eddie with marisol, since she is a wash rinse repeat of every romantic interest he’s had before- something they keep bringing up in eddie’s story as a bad thing.
so stay strong, dear anon… the light at the end if the tunnel has not gone out— there are things happening that none of us know, and it will do us no good to focus on the possible negative outcome when the positive outcome seems so much more likely in this situation.
Sorry to completely hijack your ask into an explanation of eddie, but if you know me you know i’m obsessed w the man so 🤷
Thank you for the ask, anon! 💕💕

Ahh, okay so I just watched 705 because I had to wait for it to come out on Hulu.
Anyway- ahhh I’m so excited that Tommy is coming to the wedding because 1) it means Lou is going to be at least in one more episode. 2) It’s going to be the one where we’re going to see everyone’s reactions. and 3) I need Tommy and Buck to be all cute and bashful at the wedding.
Also I loved how Tommy didn’t fault Buck for his initial reaction with Eddie but still loved that Buck apologized for it. Relationships are built on trust and communication people!!
I don’t have the strongest opinion on Eddie and Marisol at this moment, (though I just wish they’d recast Edy because who needs her anyway 🙄) but I need more Christopher in the remaining episodes! Like I want him at the wedding!
Also what the hell happened at that bachelor party and is Chimney okay?!
Loved the Henren storyline because it shows how foster care and fostering really takes time and energy to understand and help the children, so I loved how they represented that.
