A high school band teacher just got in contact with us about wanting to do a marching band arrangement of In Stars and Time and honestly this is so cool??? Yes, please do this and send me video/recordings.
The collector's edition for Eastward came with a fun little cd soundtrack and there's like three bonus tracks included. These bonus tracks are absolutely no where online except in-game and in this collector's cd and like, for two of them its not a huge issue for me...
But like this one track is missing and its literally my favorite track in the whole fucking game.
It's just an alternate version of "Strange Quest" that plays during gameplay but it deviates from the main track in such a blissfully emotional way that it just makes me so goddamn happy I can't explain it. The fact it's not online and no one can look it up made me sad and now I have to fix that :'D
For reference I'll put the main track below that's in the official digital release, cause it's still really fantastic y'all like this soundtrack is just full of fucking bangers mate aaaaaaaaaaaaa
The people have spoken! According to a poll on my Discord server, "F-Zero" is one of the absolute top franchises that needs its soundtracks immortalized. I agree - It's a must!
Gamers from all over the world had their wigs blown right off by the relentless speed and action of the original game that pushed the Super Nintendo to its limits. From there, the characters appeared in manga, anime, Nintendo Power features, and (of course) future sequel titles.
But did you realize there were Japanese exclusive follow-ups? Every single game is included here, alongside featured themes from the retro Smash Bros. games.
And did you know that there were several official arrangement CDs released? Those are available as well, from the reconstructed tunes on "F-Zero X Original Sound Track" and "Nintendo Super Famicom Game Music," the thrashing music of "F-Zero X Guitar Arrange Edition," the Jazz versions of "T Game Music Album #13: F-Zero," and even the mellow piano covers on "Tanoshii Beyer Heiyou Nintendo Super Famicom Game Music."
No duplicates here! If any game or soundtrack shared a song, then only differences are included. For example, the F-Zero GX (GameCube) and AX (arcade) titles had largely the same soundtrack, but there were a few exclusive songs in the arcade version, so those exclusives are present rather than duplicating the whole soundtrack twice).
As games in the series or related material reaches the 15 year old mark (like the F-Zero content in 2012's "Nintendo Land" will in 2027), I will add those to this archive as well.
Download it here:
Running time: 11 hours, 53 minutes

Ok having played them back to back and then back again I have to say as much as I love the music in HFW, the music for HZD was SO MUCH more haunting and at times more energy inducing.
I really wish they'd carried over more of the Leitmotifs developed for HZD.
Imagine hunting those stalkers that were attacking the Oseram camp near Thornmarsh or the Tremourtusk in the Bulwark mission with "To the Hunt!" ringing in your ears (because honestly that piece would SO suit the Tenakth), or a faint reprise of "Motherland" when Varl mentions the Sacred Lands (or when Zo mentions his grave facing east towards his home.
When it comes to "To the Hunt" I also don't know why that didn't feature in the Hunting Trials for HFW either. I REALLY missed it.
I'd like to put it out there that I have So Many opinions about soundtracks.
Movies, video games - the whole shebang.
Music is really just such an amazing art form, decorating time with the vibrancy of sounds, instruments, melodies
PLEASE feel free to ask me about music I enjoy because there is A Lot of it
Game soundtracks that slap (I'm sure you know most of these, but eh what do I care):
Hollow Knight (obviously, Christopher Larkin knows his shit)
Risk of Rain 1&2
Hades (Darren Korb is a madman)
Doom (again, another clear choice)
Octopath Traveller
Death's Door and Moonlighter (David Fenn has a niche and it's lit)
Furi
I have many others I'd like to mention, but I will be talking about these and more in time to come as I think of things to say other than "Good Shit!"
Time for more obscure Persona 3 things I've found thanks to the internet.
So apparently, Aniplex ran commercials for 2 of the Persona 3 soundtrack albums. Namely, Burn My Dread-Reincarnation and the P3 FES soundtrack. I can only upload one commercial directly to Tumblr, but I've included links to both commercials on YouTube if you wanna see them.
I'm still doing my best to archive stuff from Persona 3 to the world in honor of Reload's release.
