Can you explain Palestine vs Israel. I have done my own research and still do not understand. From my understanding Palestine attacked Israel first, and this war has been going on for so much longer than just now. So why is it suddenly so important and how is Israel in the wrong?? Genuinely trying to understand since you are spreading news of the Genocide on your page.

hey so i cant really explain all the complexities and details in a singular tumblr post. i dont really know how much research you did if october 7th is your earliest knowledge of ‘attack.’ israel has been an apartheid state since 1948 and during that year they were downright deplorable to palestinians to get them to be conpliant. nakba is probably the most notorious case but there is more.

this issue is important because this is the first time we see such atrocities in mainstream media and online. Its so oversaturated with suffering that it sets a precedent for how the world (the general public in particular) reacts outside of politicians and activists. will we continue to care when we see other people suffer, or will we grow numb and desensitised? it’s important we don’t lose our humanity like capitalist neoliberalism would prefer. just because we live comfortable lives, it doesnt mean we should be ignorant to those who are suffering. in fact, we should inspect ourselves and ask whether their suffering lends to our comfort and vice versa (it usually does). for instance, many western countries are profiting from this apartheid, hence their support.

i’m not going to list through everything (plus i myself don’t know everything) but i can tell you where to go, and hopefully some others can add on to it.

for israel’s crimes against palestine since october 7th on the account of genocide i feel like south africa has done an amazing job putting together documentations of evidence against them in the ICC. you can find the full thing on youtube or online. some of the crimes include bombing and stopping aid trucks from reaching gaza, preventing women from giving birth by bombing maternity wards, bombing hospitals (there are now 0 active hospitals in gaza, whereas before october there were 36. this info has not been updated in the case) to prevent civilians from getting life-saving treatment, psychologically tormenting civilians until they lose the will to live (particularly in children), and so on.

of course please pay attention to palestinian journalists within gaza specifically— they will show you firsthand whats happening. there’s many apart of al jazeera. al jazeera has also done some articles on the history for you. here is one on nakba. amnesty also did a good job on explaining what an apartheid is.

theres also quite a few independent ones that have become journalists through this attack from israel. bisan is one of them if youre active on tiktok. noor harazeen is a journalist on instagram.

kind of seperate to all that but still related is how support for palestine affects other people. people are losing the jobs over supporting palestine (such as melissa barrera in scream). yemen, another third world country who has been going through crises such as food insecurity for years, has been suspended aid by the UN because it has been aiding palestine throughout the conflict.

The UN in general has been useless about calling for a ceasefire. The United States vetoed during a UNSC meeting because the USA sucks ass. you can look any of this up and they will come with multiple sources im just too tired to find something rn (i’m currently on vacay and heavily sleep deprived).

also general advice to not ask a percy jackson account but an account dedicated to spreading information on the palestine-israel apartheid because they would be able to help you more. yes, ive talked about it on this account but that doesnt mean i’m qualified to explain 75 years of oppression.

Y/n gets ask a question she had been preparing to answer, but when it gets asked she doesn’t know how to feel about it. Chris keeps in everything he wants to say until later that night.

Press conferences. I always had a love hate relationship with them. I loved answering questions and being with all my friends at once but what i didn’t enjoy so much were the extremely personal questions. Such as mine and Chris’ private life.

Chris and I got engaged late 2020, we planned our wedding for July 2021, we wanted a summer wedding, getting engaged in December didn’t really give us much time to plan, but one thing we knew for sure was that we would not wait a whole year before we were married. It was a small wedding, we got married on the beach with all our closest friends and family. We went on our dream honeymoon to Hawaii, and once we came home it was time for a premier.

Filming Endgame was definitely filled with tons of emotion. It was mine a his last Marvel movie together and everyone was aware of this. After we had filmed the last scene tears were shed from almost the entire cast and crew. We still had the premiere, which I will forever be grateful for. We hadn’t posted that we had gotten married on any social media platform, well up until the night I posted a photo of us and my username had changed. I didn’t think much of it considering us being engaged was very much public, but many people were still shocked by the name change.

We also had the press conference which gave me a few extra days with the people i love the most. We both knew the risk of having personal questions asked was high but that didn’t make it any less jarring.

Upon our arrival to the hotel we had been informed that we only had one bed in our room, which considering we were married wasn’t an issue. Although everyone else wasn’t to happy about this.

“Chris, can you come here please?” I called out from the bathroom slightly out of breath from struggling to zip my dress. “What’s up?” he said as he made his way through the door. “Could you please help me zip this dress, i can only get it halfway” “yeah of course baby”

He slipped behind me and slowly began zipping up the dress. Once he had finally zipped it all the way up he slid his hands around my hips and kissed the exposed skin on my shoulder and neck. “Chris we don’t have ti-“ “shh, I know, just trying to make a mental note of what’s happening when we get back” as if I hadn’t been turned on enough by the way his hands were roaming my body, the heat pooling in my underwear just grew more and more as he stood behind me and stared at us in the mirror.

Once we finally broke apart from each other and left the room, we made our way out to the limousine where many of our friends were sat waiting for us. “took you two long enough” Robert said as Chris climed and shut the door behind him. small talk was made amongst the group during the short ride to the event. The dress I was wearing was beautiful, and matched the green felt pants Chris had on

I had went for a felt dress as well, just so the colors would be a closer match.

Halfway there, Chris tapped on my thigh and pointed towards my phone. When i picked it up, I saw multiple messages from Chris all displaying the plans he had made for later that night.

“The way your body looks in that dress is making it hard for me to not take you right here in this car”

My eyes widened as I quickly turn the brightness down hoping no one was nosey enough to read the text. I shoot Chris a glare, one that says “seriously?” and he responds with his signature smirk.

Finally, after what had felt like forever, we arrived to the conference, the second we stepped out of the car Chris grabbed my hand and gave it a light squeeze, reassuring me it’s okay. This wasn’t my first, but I still have quite a bit of nerves every time. We make our way into the building after tons of pictures and quick “i love you” glances to one another. We both took our seats, which luckily were right beside each other. Eventually the question began and the small pool of anxiety grew.

“This next one is for y/n, we heard you two got married, congratulations!” I slightly adjusted in my chair and crossed my legs towards Chris before replying “yes, we did, thank you!” “Of course, now this may be some what personal-“ great. I glanced at Chris and could tell he was focused on the person asking and he didn’t look to happy about it. “So many people have been wondering, how is he in bed? We’re sure he’s fantastic but we want to hear it from the one who gets to experience it.” There it was. The dreaded question of how he was in bed. Although he was fantastic and you thoroughly enjoyed sex with Chris, it wasn’t something you cared to share with the public.

“well, listen I don’t want to come off as rude by saying this but i’m not sure that’s really any of yours, or anyone else’s business besides ours.” Chris was furious, his eyes had slightly darkened and his jaw was clenched keeping him from losing his mind. “Can we please move on?” my voice came out slightly smaller than I had wanted but at the moment I felt uncomfortable and upset.

Chris on the other hand was pissed. He hated how uncomfortable the question made you feel and wanted to beat the shit out of the man who asked it. Instead, he looked at you with a sympathetic look and you responded by mouthing “it’s okay”, because you knew if you didn’t, Chris would kill this guy.

Once everyone had asked their questions, and many laughs had been shared, the group made their way back to the hotel. Chris and you were the first people out of the car and after sharing your goodbyes, he grabbed you by the hand and the two of you stormed up to your room. Before a word could be spoken between you and him he had you pinned against the door. His lips were on yours in seconds. The kiss was hot and sloppy, but you didn’t care at all. “Chris” you breathlessly moaned his name out. he responded with a hmm and continued to work his lips against yours.

okay i need to yell about the current charlos worldstate because im thinking so many insane and beautiful things rn but basically

okay okay rambling under the cut

LIKEEEEEEE idk obvs i am sad for the rarris and i want them to do well but its times when the failure appears that reminds me of whyyyy i find charlos so interesting

like they truly do have such a charming dynamic, they have fun together they laugh they find a lot of similarities in one another, and we joke we joke about how charles is like the nagging girlfriend at times and carlos the playfully bullying boyfriend its qualities that when we push into the more like. chaotic and bad side of the ship thats just so WOW

like we already see this weekend a bit of heat from charles that bit of annoyance but hes too polite too nice you get bits of passive aggression here and there he is so housewife coded....

so much of why i like charlos is in all honesty like. using one another as a channel for the frustration towards the team. solace in one another, someone else who UNDERSTANDS, who gets the way youre feeling towards the car towards the team etc etc etc... and it can be so sweet and soft and caring and it can also be sooo toxic and codependent and strange

i love a ship that feels like an uncomfortable marriage but theyre staying together because thats what they committed to. because theyre perfect for each other, duh. he understands what no one else does.

just like picturing charles after he spins out, just waiting watching and brewing full of just. annoyance and shame and sadness and anger but charles doesnt blow up, charles looks pitiful, just a race incident, no one to blame. (no one but himself of course the voice in the back of his head says) and carlos has it all on his shoulders the rest of the way. just trying to get something, anything for the team and he does. until he doesnt and again its not fair none of it's fair and he cant do anything lest it gets worse and they both fail in such spectacularly different directions and if that doesn't describe them so well what does.

The idea of finding comfort in one another against mutual failing, really being them taking out the frustrations on one another. Tell yourselves you just need a rough fuck to feel better but both knowing............charles knowing its punishment, its get better, its be smarter, it hurts and he should say something but be wont because he needs to be BETTER. and for carlos its release but not comfort its release in the way smashing in a window is, slashing a tire, screaming expletives at a retail worker who cant talk back, its taking back some scrap of power to make up for it all. and they tell themselves it helps, they come, they lay in each others arms afterwards and they do it again next time they fail. same failed strategy same failed result.

just a cycle of using each other for harm and calling it comfort but not knowing how to go on without it...its reliable thats for sure 👬 and you push down the guilt or the shame of what you did you ignore the bruises and the words you said and the things you begged for and pretend you dont hold it against him in any way but youve learned nothing can truly be trusted around here!!!! but thats a failure you'll reach when you get to it for now youre apart you'll lick your wounds and come back smiling hand in hand laughing at each others jokes staring lovingly at his smile running your fingers through his hair and for a while the car wont matter until it does . amen.

at first, minghao thought it was stupid. since, duh... how can a roblox game be that scary? spoiler alert, he overestimated his bravery, and everyone elses.

now here we are, in a room filled with clicking, screaming, and panic.

"KIM FUCKING MINGYU IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW." you started, hearing the monster coming near you.

"OKAY OKAY WAIT OMG" after three more seconds of yelling, you and minghao escaped from the monster.

"i thought you weren't scared, hao" seokmin teased as you looked behind you to see a traumatized minghao.

it took all you had not to laugh at the sight and focus on your computer screen.

"okay, we just have to find one more butterfly spirit.. but i legitimately cant find the other key." you said cutting off the small bickering going on between the 3 other guys you were playing with.

"can we just give up? im up for pizza, ILL PAY." mingyu offered, earning a suspicious look from all of you.

"excuse me.. weren't YOU the one who insisted that we play this, gyu?" you said as minghao tsked. mingyu whined as you teasingly scolded the boy. until you were cut off by a hopeful yell.

"GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS I FOUND IT I FOUND IT" seokmin yelled. apparently, while mingyu was trying to bribe you and minghao to do something else... seokmin recklessly went hunting for the key, and was successful.

"WHAT" you yelled. seokmin proudly equipped the key as you stared in shock.

"never knew we'd be this determined for a roblox game.." minghao started.

"hao if you dont shut your bitchass rn" mingyu said. finally, you all planned to quickly get the last butterfly spirit.

after a good 15 minutes of screaming, yelling, running, swearing and everything. you all successfully managed to escape that hell hole... slowly realizing theres more.

"PHEW.... wait." seokmin said as you were teleported somewhere else.

the room suddenly filled with pure silence and painful realization.

"anyone up for pizza?" you said, defeated.

everyone agreed and left the game almost immediately.
