I'm looking at the Zora May prompts and wanna write stuff, and now my brain's just giggling with ideas LOL like--
Imagine, after Age of Calamity, that Link and Mipha get together. That has its whole set of fun and drama - a Hylian/Zora marriage would mean a lot anyway, but particularly when it's the Zora princess and the Hero of Hyrule. Link and Mipha start to have a family, Zelda is settling into being queen, and they all have their own set of stressors and joys and the three are still besties and it would be just so funny to see y'all. Like... Link takes his oath as a knight seriously, so he still assists Hyrule often, and just this scenario in my head came and--
Zelda, sighing: I hardly slept last night. I was up late researching the latest Zonai discoveries and almost forgot I had a meeting with the Rito delegation this morning. I'm so tired.
Link, hair a mess, on his third cup of coffee after dealing with one of his kids having a meltdown while the other kept everyone up crying all night, dealing with Mipha also trying to do royal duties, having just teleported over here via Sheikah towers: .....That sounds rough.

Can we see your durge? :oc if not no worries I'm just curious!
Of course! Have a lil WIP of her in all her evil glory 🥰 (Hope I can finish this anytime in the next century lol)
Her name is Sandra, she's a war cleric of Gruumsh/oathbreaker paladin and she's Totally Bad Not Good Unredeemable. I haven't posted much about her bc I'm still in ACT1 with her (Im replaying Khael and campagn that takes priority).
fun fact before I even got through half of ACT1 of all the compainons only Astarion and Shadowheart were alive/present. I dont know how long theyre going to last though lmaooo
She's another iteration of my DnD character Alasandra, who Ive played for a couple years in a homebrew campagn! I also played with her in Solasta (another DnD game, that I suggest checking out!) He's all three of her together for the meme:
I also technically have a Redeemed Durge character that's based on another DnD character! His name is Chan, he's a warlock and a cinnamon roll who can do no wrong 🥹 (which makes me chosing him as a durge an awful parent)
and here's how he looks like!

So Gaiman uses they/them for Muriel, and their actor uses she/her. And Gaiman says all pronouns are appropriate for any angel. I would really like to write a fic where Muriel starts using ‘she’ on Earth, because she’s naturalizing to Soho and likes being butch. I really want a butch angel. I hope there’s room for a fic like that.

Can we just appreciate the Gargantuan Guts™ of this girl?
That's Nicholas the Punisher. The Undertaker.
She knows it, she knows that very well.
Yet, she's just throwing herself in front of him to get answers. We can argue that this is her naive showing, but after all this, after Roberto's death...is not realistic. Not anymore.
And I think that here Nick is not smacking her into tomorrow not only because he grew awfully fond of her (talking shtick to Vash about getting attached and there you go, you snarky hypocrite), but also because she might be reminding him of Vash, launching herself straight into danger, determination incarnated.
And he's not reciprocating that goddamned shin kick because he knows he deserves it. Very much. And he's accepting that, wishing for some kind of atonement.
In his own, grumpy moth way.

Looking at an old post, does Religion in FIre Emblem still interest you?
YEAH !!
TBF, it interests / fascinates me in a way that is, like... even the most developped religion in a FE game (the Church of Seiros) is so bare-bones that there are a lot of things people tend to add just from their own experiences with religions, which, in the case of the Church of Seiros in particular, tends to hurt it a bit in the Western fandom IMO. But. (waves hands) that's.
That's something else.
But yeah, I actually still really like that topic ! Because, beside Fodlan, religion is both such an inherent part of the setting and yet such an ignored part of the setting that it's really fascinating.
Take Valentia. Do we now anything about the Mila and Duma faith ? Not really. We know... basic philosophies that oppose Mila and Duma (and once again I will say that the game putting them on the same level is actually crap because we're supposed to see the bothof them as highly flawed because "Mila encourages indolence" but my guys my gals my pals the fields aren't gonna till themselves even if the land is fertile !!! people are gonna work out in the fields !!! the nobles may be lazy and indolent but you can't tell me you expect flour to get into people's hands without work !!), but do we know anything about... either the beliefs or the practices of either religions ? EHHH. Discutable.
We know both faith "fuse" after the games, venerating Mila & Duma together, and there's something bittersweet about it, and I like that death doesn't stop them from being deities. Because truth is, in many religions, gods are alive from their deaths. Be they deified humans or deceased gods. I think there is something, there. And, hell, we know that despite her death Mila is still kinda. there. in a way. in spirit. So why would that stop.
In Elibe, we know a religion is centered around St Elimine. Do we know ANYTHING about it ? Shit no. We know St Elimine, Mario Kart Double Dash Bonus CD Character, we know she participated in the Scourge (if my memory serves me well), we know she has a really damn powerful staff, but. Beside that. Uh. No ??
But it's actually kind of fascianting to me. I kind of want to build on that at some point. You have priests. You have at least one theocracy in Magvel. Why is it a theocracy ? GOOD QUESTION WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IT'S SO FUCKING FUNNY TO ME
But. Yeah. Religion in FE. It's a mess.
I love it though
