His eyebrows raise almost impossibly high

"Did I hear that right or did you just..."

He's not upset, just... surprised.

Pleasantly surprised.

He doesn't mind it but man... it might've sparked something inside him. Might've.

You've given him nicknames before, both teasing and affectionate, but he never expected to be called that before. It's a new feeling.

You don't use it too much with him, but when you do, it gets the cutest laugh out of him. Gets him acting like he doesn't like it, but you know he absolutely does.

If you catch him off guard, he'll tilt his cap down and try to stifle a laugh to distract himself from how warm his face feels.

"Fuckin' hell, the things you do to me..."

You cheekily grin in response and give him those adoring eyes because you know that he knows you do it because you love him just that much to torment him :]

Now you only use it to amuse and tease him just to hear that golden laughter. You don't think you'll ever get tired of it.

Price

First time you said it, he nearly choked on his cigar.

"Sorry, what did you just say?"

He doesn't mean to be rude, it's just that you caught him so off guard. Give the poor man a break.

You repeat it to him and he chuckles, a little awkwardly because him? Babygirl? He can't see it, at least he doesn't see if he even has the qualities for such a title.

But oh, do you disagree. In fact, you start using it more, regardless of what he thinks.

If it's in front of the other task force members, it usually gets him to stop in his tracks and let out a knowing groan, shaking his head and trying to get the team to focus back on whatever they were doing before.

Which is extremely hard with how Gaz and Soap are trying to fight back their giggles.

When you're alone, he sighs but leans into your touch a little more.

He's actually amused by it and has even tried to give you something equally cheesy or teasing just to bite back at you.

It works.

He knows he's egging you on to use it more but truthfully?

He can't bring himself to get actually upset over it.

Soap

You decided to test his reaction on a whim one night at a visit to the pub after a successful mission, walking up behind him and greeting him.

You've never seen his head whip around so fast, and you wonder how he didn't snap his neck.

Oh and there it is.

The classic McTavish SmirkTM.

He's grinning so wide, leaning into your side and wrapping your arm around his waist.

"Would'ya mind repeatin' that, love?"

You're starting to regret this, seeing as he's enjoying it a little too much.

Then again... it could make this night a little more rewarding.

After that, he practically pushes you to use it more, says something about getting butterflies or how it "rolls off your tongue so well"

Either way, you don't mind it, seeing how it makes him happy and how he seems more obliged to listen to you.

And every time you do, he's always got that adoring glint in his eyes and an excited grin on his lips because fuck yeah,

He is your babygirl.

Ghost

He freezes so badly, the only movement being his shallow breathing.

To be honest, you were a b i t nervous to try, but you figured there was no harm in it with how far your relationship was.

But now you're starting to regret even trying, wondering if you've crossed a line or-

"Say it again."

Ohfuckohfuckohfuck-

You do as he says, and it gets a dry laugh out of him. He shakes his head and brings a hand to his forehead, mumbling about how stupid it is.

Except you don't miss that softened look in his eyes, the one weakness of his mask.

So you start rolling it out slowly and steadily, mostly in private because god knows he would strangle you for using it in public.

Much to his dismay, the 141 still overhears it thanks to you "teasing" him with it as a "joke".

Regardless, you don't mind limiting it to being used in private because you're the only one that knows and uses the fact that the Simon "Ghost" Riley secretly loves being called your babygirl.

Specifically in a soft or smooth way that gets him to just fucking melt on the spot. Even a simple, "How's my babygirl doing today?" in passing gets him all worked up at the idea of him being yours and yours only. It's even worse when you use it in bed.

So use it wisely!

König

He's looking around as if you're talking to someone else. Poor thing's all confused.

When he finally figures it out that it's him you're talking about, ohhh the way you wish you could take a peek under that hood.

The man's got his face buried in his hands, gripping and pulling the hood down on his face as if any inch of skin would further reveal how flustered he got.

Though you can already imagine it for yourself, his face burning brightly with his lips pressed tightly, causing all his stammering and sputtering.

Even worse, because of that, you add it to the list of various nicknames you have for him.

What you didn't expect is for him to adjust so well to it. At some point, he just sheepishly laughs and smiles whenever you use it, and of course, he's still a little shy about it,

But he starts leaning into it more, responding to it like he would any other name. Loves it like any other nickname when he just buries his face in your shoulder and cuddles you while you whisper reassurances to him.

Just be careful using it around the others, he'll implode if they find out.

Roach

What surprises you is how quickly he accepts it.

You had called out for him, and he just turned and responded with a signed "Yes?"

It kinda caught the both of you off guard.

He snickers and signs again, "Would you want me to call you something similar?"

You know where this is going, and before you can do anything, he starts calling you "hot stuff".

So now the two of you keep coming up with a bunch of corny, cheesy nicknames to sign to each other, some of which don't even make sense.

It's until that you call him it again he's like Soap in that he goes, "You know what? Yeah, I am your babygirl!"

Now he wears the name loud and proud. Almost too proudly. Pretty much the whole base knows it by now.

He got a goddamn name patch of it.

Occasionally, you'll get other 141 members commenting, "Looking for your babygirl?" or "Surprising that you don't have your babygirl with you today." with emphasis on the nickname.

So basically, what was supposed to be you teasing him was now him teasing you.

Hound

They first overheard you using it when you were conversing with some other force members, mostly talking about Hound and you. To many, it was a strangely unlikely relationship come true. He didn't think too much about it. You probably fumbled with your words.

Then he overheard it a second time. Then, a third. Then it came to a point where they just figured that it was now another term of endearment for them.

In all honesty, he's confused why you specifically like using that of all names, he simply can't see how such a cute, loving name could fit someone like him

You explain to them how it's kind of your way of showing them as yours, that they're your baby, and to you, they're one of the sweetest things to exist.

He melts at that.

So now when he hears it from you close or from afar, his head perks up, and he'll give a quick glance in your direction.

Sometimes, you use that fact just to get his attention, and he knows that, but he never minds when he gets to see you grinning so brightly.

I'm in abject adoration with the whole "signing Link" headcanon. Whether he's d/Deaf, nonspeaking, both... idc it's so good. No TOTK spoilers, just hcs that mention the TOTK Ganondorf without any canon details about him

AND it's spawned so many spinoff hcs.

Like, one of my fave villain types is 'oh yeah I'm massively evil and murder people but I draw the line at bigotry' so most iterations of Ganondorf ABSOLUTELY know Hylian sign in my hc. TOTK Ganondorf knows either ancient Hylian sign or Zonia or Sheikah sign but he and Link manage through some shared signs

Each of the races have their own language too. Goron sign language is the simplest. A lot of fists, lot of pounding, it's actually partially based in rhythm/vibrations that most others don't pick up on, but it's also mostly about rock/mining related stuff, same as the goron spoken language xD

Rito language on the other hand is based on the subtlest of angle changes of the wing. This is because it's meant to be able to be used on the fly, pun intended, and their sharp eyesight allows them to see even these minute changes over great distances. Hylians and Gorons struggle to grasp this, but Zora and surprisingly Gerudo pick it up fairly easily.

Now Zora, like Rito, are essentially operating in a all-dimensional environment a lot of the time, when swimming. Their sign language is designed to be understandable from any direction, but because of distortion underwater, relies on large gestures and motion for much of this.

And finally, Gerudo. Not much to say here. It's about as different from Hylian sign as all the others, despite the spoken languages having a common ancestor (think BSL and ASL). There's not a lot of words for stuff related to men, and when needed they'll just combine the sign for "voe" with the specific thing.

Also, another hc besides the common ancestor language for the spoken language that also applies to sign - young boys are called "vai" by Gerudo until they hit their races equivalent of adulthood. Before then they are allowed within city walls, though are often treated with less leniency if they misbehave.

More RLS!siblings cause i'm obsessed- what if Sanji had photographic camera during the timw was with Robin and Law before the storm?

He gets it some weeks after being saved by R and L, and one afternoon he just looks at it from outside some store but don't mention how much he liked the camera, but the two older noticed either way.

So one of them buy this and gift Sanji the camera. After this, every time they get to have at least a little bit of peace and fun, Sanji takes a photo. Sometimes other person do it.

(I hc that the RLS stayed together for two years, so the storm happen and Sanji stop directly in the rock) The picture they like the most is from Sanji's 10 years-old birthday, and is also the last one they took.

Law stayed with the camera and decided to get all the photos in a box hidden in his bedroom. Only Bepo, Sachi and Penguin know about it.

After Wano, Law give a copy of their favorite photo to Robin and Sanji, and let's them look at the photos in the box.

(Luffy, of course, drags himself and his poor brothers to look at the photos too)

Amazing. Your glorious brain is glorious. It is also absolutely heart wrenching to know they only had each other for two years.

They're walking around a town a few weeks after getting Sanji and he keeps seeing snail cameras and Robin and Law keep sharing looks. Sanji is so quiet and doesn't talk unless answering questions. He just follows suit. So of course they surprise him with it and smile softly and hold him at the tears that fall. They know he's been through hell, they all have, but his is still fresh.

Sanji takes photos of whatever he deems important, mostly of his new siblings and the rare peaceful moments. Robin and Law take photos of him as well because otherwise there would be no photos of little Sanji. There are photos of the three of them. Their first boat, random slow nights camped out somewhere. When they found Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin, everyone's birthdays.

I feel like it's Shachi, Bepo, and Penguin who make them celebrate birthdays. The last one they all celebrate together would be Sanji's because fuck him I guess. We're going to hurt this kid. The party is just for the six of them. Robin some how acquired a cake which Law scrunches his fifteen year old nose at but does eat a small, I mean small, slice of. Robin used her fruit to take the photo of the six of them with Sanji in the middle being held by Bepo as Shachi and Penguin look jealous of the bear. Robin and Law are smiling, actually smiling, as Sanji is laughing as Bepo is nuzzling Sanji.

Then the storm happens and they're gone. Law is staring blankly at the camera for a couple weeks in his depressive state before getting the film developed. Bepo frames the photo of the birthday party and hangs it in Law's room. Then on the Tang it is glued to the wall. Law frowns at Bepo as Shachi and Penguin sit on his bed and go through the photos and coo.

During the dinner with ASL because this has to happen at the same time truthfully. Robin mentions offhandedly about how sad it is they don't have the photos anymore and Sanji agrees. Luffy is sad they don't have photos anymore because little Sanji has to be as cute as big Sanji and Robin hums and mentions that Sanji looked like a little skeleton with a soft smile and calling him adorable. Law mentions he does have the photos and shambles them birthday photo off his wall and goes and gets the box from under his bed. He comes back with them as they all look.

"Ah, my tenth birthday, our last good memory." Sanji laughs at the picture as Robin shows it to the table.

"I like how this is one of three photos we have of Law smiling." Robin agrees. They go through the other photos and reminince. Luffy whines that he and his brothers should have done something similar growing up bu they didn't. Robin says she assumed they were lost in the storm as well but clearly not. Law holds up a photo of Sanji looking like Robin said, a little skeleton, being held by Robin as they look at the stars.

A few weeks later a box arrives on the Sunny from the Tang, copies off all the photos and the birthday photo in a frame, and a camera. So now Robin and Sanji are showing everyone else the photos. Telling the stories behind them and their time together as the first members of the Heart Pirates.

Photo exchanges happen all the time now, much to Law's dismay.

-In a post milgram AU futa knows how to skateboard because his sister taught him when they were younger, and he teaches Haruka how to. He holds Haruka until he's absolutely sure he doesn't need to be held and reassures him that he'll never let him fall c:

-if Haruka does fall, Futa is more than ready to check if he has any injuries and help him not feel discouraged. He gets a bit embarrassed about it but he tells Haruka about falling when he was little and being taught by his sister, to assure Haruka that it happens. Haruka giggles about it a little bit because the idea of Futa, someone he thinks is so cool and wonderful, falling over like that is so silly, so cute... and Futa is like "HEY DONT LAUGH" but he can't help but smile because Haruka's laughter is such a sweet sound

-A bit ironic considering Haruka is drowning in like 90% of his screentime but, also in a post milgram AU, Haruka loves to swim!! He doesn't really know how to swim in deep waters because he was only taken to beaches/pools few times if at all during his childhood, but he learns, and he discovers that he loves Being in the Water. He's always asking Futa to go to the beach or pool, Futa can't say no to his bfs cute requests (and he often gets dragged along if Haruka asks the others to go lol) (Haruka gives him the puppy eyes) Futa doesn't like to swim very much, usually he just sits under an umbrella at the beach and watches Haruka play with everyone else, but Haruka manages to get him to join

-Haruka tries to get Futa to swim with him but Futa touches the water with one toe and just runs back (very kitty behavior... lol) Haruka decides it's better to start small so he lets (drags) Futa to join him & the others in building a sandcastle!!!

-Later when Futa actually agrees to swim with Haruka, Haru gets so excited when finding any fishies!!! (he got over the discomfort with animals like how he got over the discomfort with kids okok) and Futa thinks that's absolutely precious. And when Futa starts to get comfortable with the water, he's just smiling while theyre holding hands standing in there, and Haruka just MELTS (Futa is already so handsome in Haru's eyes, but also Futa smile!! Futa happy!!! Haru's heart can't take it)

-back to milgram setting (this can work for AU too) when Haruka gets sick, Futa is the most protective bf you'll ever see... He insists he will stay with Haruka and take care of him even if it's a risk he gets sick too. He kisses Haruka's forehead, makes sure he doesn't feel lonely and asks Shidou for instructions how to help Haruka (what medicines to take, when to take them, what to do if his fever gets too high) his heart just breaks at seeing Haruka so sick

-they're both freaking out when they find bugs. I can imagine Yuno hears screaming and walks in to the room to find Futa clinging to Haruka and Haruka trying to throw anything at the bug that's got them so terrified (it's a microscopic harmless spider)

-You would think Haruka is the clingier one in this dynamic--well he is, but Futa is really really clingy and protective too. They could go to walmart and he just REFUSES to let go of haru's hand or let him out of his sight. (Haruka is very happy)

-Futa just adores playing with Haruka's hair, it feels very soft and he especially loves when it grows a bit longer than usual!! (He falls to his knees and mourns when Haruka cuts his hair. /not very serious lol) In the mornings, he wants to help Haruka brush his hair, and when they shower together he's more than happy to wash it for him <3 <3

-Futa needs reading glasses thanks to years of being chronically online, and sometimes he forgets to clean them, so Haruka reminds him, or offers to clean them for him. He's very careful not to break them!

-Follow up to glasses Futa hc, in a post milgram/normal AU where they live together, sometimes Haru will find Futa asleep at his desk, particularly during exams season. He'll gently slide the glasses off of Futa's face, so they wouldn't hurt him while he slept or break, cleans them, and walks Futa to bed.

-Speaking of college student Futa, he takes his studies seriously(ish) but procrastinates a LOT, so often ends up studying very late. Haruka gets really worried, brings him food if he forgets to eat and tries to help him take regular breaks for his back and eyes. (He'd try to help Futa organize his time as well, but the autism executive dysfunction does not let him organize his own time lol)

i wholeheartedly agree with ur response to my previous ask, especially with the trilingual and accent one. i imagine its like a somewhat thick-ish accent too that they have (rorke’s is probably more light than logans), since portuguese and spanish are probably the more dominant languages than english. (mainly my hc/theory bc of the fed that was stuttering in spanish and english before keegan killed him during the ajax mission but that’s somewhat irrelevant).

now adding onto ur trilingual hc(?), i imagine logan forgetting certain words and his mind goes absolutely blank in trying to find what the fuck the word is in any of the languages hes fluent in. (example: “i think he went to the… eh…“) and yes, this 100% applies to rorke, and if not the old man is probably WORSE. but unlike logan, rorke is way more fluent in english, as logan cant hold an entire conversation without speaking in either the other two dominant languages. of course though, i would like to think this is when logan decides to speak, because i feel like hes more of a “i hate people so i don’t talk” but is compassionate type of guy. (totally not cause we dont hear the man speak because of the silent protagonist era..)

im not sure what hesh’s(specifically) and the other ghosts reaction would be besides surprised pikachu, “he forgot english? we took THAT long???”, or “what the fuck did rorke DO.”, but im sure itd be something funny or angsty. as hesh and logan in your hc(that i adore cause it honestly suits them) are mixed and dont have that strong of an accent, the accent change from logan when he decides to talk would probably make hesh feel sad in a way, knowing he took too long to find logan before he 1) develops an accent, 2) is now trilingual, and 3) most likely doesn’t remember him or really any of the ghosts if we take that route of angst.

bonus again in favor of your lovely bonus: rorke and logan would absolutely make fun of eachother when they forget a word. (it would also be funny if its other feds who join in but they’re all probably scared of both or they all also deal with the same problem… but they might..)

Logan frustrated to tears because he's gotta sort through three languages to find one word (Four if you include american sign, ASL, headcanon.) when he doesn't even like speaking. He'd make some bad joke about it being the reason he doesn't talk a lot, it's too much work when he can just stand there looking scary and let Rorke do his monologues.

Pls, calling Rorke an old man. I forget he's older than Elias because he really does NOT act like it. They gave him eternal youth in the pit or something because how the fuck was he getting his ass whooped like he was and shaking it off? (Au perhaps, curse of immortality?)

I HC that Logan's selectively mute (as do a few moots of mine) so to me it's not that he hates talking to people, it's just that speaking verbally makes him majorly uncomfortable. So instead he communicates through different avenues. Like writing things to be read, or signing, and even letting Hesh do all the talking for him. (One he uses the most, because it's easiest. Which can be used for angst when Logan then refuses to have Hesh talk for him post pit/beach EHEHHEHE.) He is absolutely so compassionate tho, I love that, I adore giving him a really big heart. Makes the angst where he's cold and angry so much more painful! :D (<- The face of a man who suffers under his own hand)

Oh the angst of the Ghosts being forced to face how much time has passed when they meet Logan again and he's changed so radically his primary language is no longer his "mother tongue." (mother tongue being spanglish, new primary being solely spanish.) Even outside a full "Amnesic Logan" au there'd still be things he'd forget and that is some good angst to explore. Hells yeah.

- Patton is the "oldest" Side

- Remus likes to say he's the older twin. Roman refutes this

- Janus was close friends with og (King) Creativity and took The Split the hardest

- Logan and Janus use he/they pronouns

- Virgil has vocal tics (clicking, whistling, etc)

- animal traits are in response to experiencing severe stress and/or trauma

- Janus actually cannot see too well. The cane is for more than just aesthetic purposes

- Janus, Virgil, and Logan know some ASL

- Remus retained memories from when he and Roman were Creativity. Roman did not

- the Dark Sides are colourblind

- Remus has hyperdontia

- Patton is the only one w a heartbeat as he represents Thomas' heart

- they're all pretty flexible (being able to extend limbs and whatnot) but Virgil and Remus are extremely flexible

Nicknames & Compliments HC - Part 1 - ASL

What nicknames they would give their s/o, how prone they are to complimenting their s/o... First batch: ASL, cause they are the bestest bois! Read under the cut, cause this became way longer than planned.  2nd person. Genderneutral reader. (!) Some swearing. Part 2 Part 3 

Ace

Ace calls you all the usual nicknames. Babe, honey, dear... all the time. Once you’re together he barely uses your actual name. 

Depending on the situation he’ll also have nicknames that are more playful and teasing, lovingly referring to physical characteristics, making you blush, or teasingly referring to things that happened. 

“Everything all right little Sushi?” “For fuck’s sake freckleface that was ONE time” 

You call him all the standard cute nicknames, but freckleface Ace, especially since it rhymes, is right up there with your favorites as well. 

Sleeping beauty is a number one favorite whenever he fell asleep in his plate of food again, especially if there’s some food stuck to his face after he woke up. 

Ace showers you in compliments. He thinks you are the best thing in the world, and makes sure to tell you so, although he’s as red as a tomato the first couple of times he does so. 

He is very sincere in complimenting, but it takes him a bit to gain that flirty confidence. Once he’s there though, prepare to be complimented on anything and everything you do and are. 

The way you fight, the way you dress, the way you look, Ace loves everything and will he will express that whenever he has the opportunity to do so. 

When it comes to receiving compliments, he needs to get used to it, but he absolutely thrives on them. Ace is super insecure, especially in the beginning. He wasn’t even sure if he deserved to live, and now he’s being loved by his family AND by you, and you love him in such a sincere and intimate way? He’s not sure if he deserves that, but your compliments will help him get used to the idea.

He will flat out deny them at first, but he’ll get better at it with time. 

Overall, much love and compliments, and with time it might even get obnoxious slightly annoying the rest of the crew. (But that’s okay because you two are the cutest couple, so they’ll forgive you) 

Sabo

Sabo mostly calls you by your name. Not because he doesn’t like nicknames, but he thinks your name is the most beautiful thing in the world. You usually call him by name too. 

Nicknames that are used are very standard, but very cute and loving. Mostly used in private, whenever you’re cuddling but still want to engage in a conversation, or when you’re keeping him company as he’s working through some paperwork. 

Sabo is a little shy when it comes to both giving and receiving compliments. Not that he doesn’t like compliments, he just finds it hard to not become a blushing mess whenever he gets them or compliments you. 

He loves everything about you, and cannot always put it in words accurately. Him just looking at you in complete adoration will be one of the main compliments you receive. 

“so hot”, “so beautiful”, “you’re amazing”, among others, are things he will regularly mutter under his breath, but when you point it out or ask him what he said, he’ll turn beet red and just stammer it out again. 

He is weak when it comes to you complimenting him as well, especially in public. But even in private his face will grow hot in a matter of seconds, often shutting you up with a kiss so you don’t have to see his embarrassment.

He will get less embarrassed as time goes on, especially getting better at complimenting you, since he does like seeing you all flushed as well. 

You won’t stop your complimenting because the smile he gives you whenever he mumbles his embarrassed thanks is enough to make your heart flutter every single time. 

Just a lot of blushing, compliments while cuddling and wholesome intimate moments. 

Luffy 

Luffy has nicknames for so many people. His nicknames for you are usually plays on your name, or just things he heard other people call you that he thinks are funny. 

Even if those nicknames weren’t originally meant as ‘nice’ nicknames, he will call you them, but lovingly. (Only if they can be considered cute in some way, Luffy would never ever say something intentionally mean or degrading or something that would hurt you). 

If you don’t like a certain nickname and you tell him so, he will stop calling you that, there’s plenty of other names he can call you that will make you smile! And his main priority is to keep all his nakama happy, especially his s/o! 

You usually call him idiot or monkey but teasingly so, other than that it’s usually just his name or captain, those he responds best to. 

Luffy is very generous with his compliments! He doesn’t hold back, even in public, exclaiming all the things he likes or thinks are cool.

Honestly, he doesn’t necessarily thinks of it as complimenting you, Luffy is just extremely straightforward and whenever you look good, do something cool, win a fight in a creative way, or just bring him some food or just anything at all, he will point out how amazing / strong / nice / everything you are. 

He’s just as loud and open when he compliments you as he is with any other conversation, sometimes resulting in an embarrassed reaction from your side, where the only response is a “shishishi... you’re so cute when you get all red like that y/n”

It’s both easy and not easy to compliment Luffy. He doesn’t get embarrassed over it, and will just yell a thanks, or smile widely as he does with that smile that can make the sun shine even in the toughest of storms. But he will recognize it as an extra effort of you to make him feel good and will sometimes respond with an additional tight hug just so you do know that he really loves you and cares about you. 

Although the latter might have taken some guidance from Nami.  “Y/n is complimenting you because they want to show you some extra love, please let them know you love them back every once in a while.” “But I love them always, y/n knows that!”

neurodivergent jared is a thing and i absolutely live for it ngl soo here i come on my knees asking for kleisen hc’s w neurodivergent jared 😌🥺

So, technically, I don’t have any of the conditions that are considered neurodivergent (typically, autism, ADHD, and sometimes dyslexia). I’m pretty sure I have ADHD, but I’m not officially diagnosed. Because of that, I collaborated with @djbead123 to create these (ie: they created ALL of these and I just went YESSSSSS because I loved them). Hope you like them, anon! Doing a “read more” here because there’s a LOT! 

So yeah, enjoy! :D

1- Jared uses language and words that are considered rude but he means well. He uses sarcasm to mask his neurodivergence, thinking that it's how "normal" teens act. 2- Evan and Jared hold hands when Jared says it's ok. Sometimes touch is overwhelming but he still wants to be close to Evan. He really enjoys sharing his space with him 3- Jared has issues with people moving his things or putting his stuff in the wrong places. In class, he has a set way he arranges his computer, pencils, etc. He gets really upset when his system is disturbed and he can start stress stimming as a result 4- Evan has a fidget cube. He’s autistic and doesn't like making eye contact. 5- Both of them being neurodivergent has its ups and downs 6- Jared love love LOVES wearing Evan's shirts; specifically, ones that he wears when he stays over. He slaps and bounces and rocks when wearing them because of how they feel 7- Jared cannot stand still, he literally bounces or fidgets in place while standing and when he sits, he rocks in his seat 8- Evan has trouble speaking in crowds and he goes nonverbal when too nervous or upset. Sometimes there are days where he just can't speak at all. When he's with Jared, he's much more open and loud 9- Jared has a super good memory but is shitty about time. He’ll wake up late, remember what time he's supposed to turn in assignments but turn them in super late because he didn't notice the time pass, etc. 10- Jared loves computers and robotics club 11- Evan and Jared do cuddle and show affection. Evan is ok with touch but please don't do it without permission. Jared is only ok with touch sometimes but he loves cuddling with Evan and kissing him 12- They go to the park alot because it’s Evan's favorite place. Jared doesn't mind, his boyfriend is happy and stimming and showing Jared all the trees and pointing out every sound and thing he sees and identifying it. Jared listens. 13- Jared info dumps about computers and video games to Evan. Evan doesn't understands the mechanics of computers but he adores Jared flapping his hands and rocking while talking about his special interests 14- Evan chews on his skin or nails when upset. He’ll chew until he bleeds. Jared got him a chew necklace that's got a pine tree on it and Evan cried because it was such a nice thing 15- Evan got Jared a scented plush that lights up in the dark when turned on. Jared loves that little plushie SO much; the texture, scent, feel, color - just makes him so so happy 16- Evan is a picky eater and HATES so much when his food touches, it ruins it. Jared, when he makes them both snacks/food, makes sure it's a food Evan will eat and that it DOESN'T touch 17- Evan doesn't understand alot of the memes Jared sends but sometimes he does and he laughs. Jared explains the joke to him if Evan takes it too literally and starts worrying 18- Jared begged his parents for TWO switches, one for him and one for Evan. Evan's switch is blue, and Jared's is purple and orange. They both play a lot of games until Evan gets tired. Jared has no awareness of time but when he sees Evan asleep, he covers him up just enough so that he isn't cold 18- Jared and Evan are both autistic but it doesn't stop them from being mushy in public, they just have their own way of being soft. Evan sends Jared a blue heart everyday, at a certain time, before class. If he can't then he says "blue heart" meaning "I love you.” Jared shows his love by calling Evan names that are parts of a computer, the important parts. 19- Jared knows asl and taught Evan so they talk in signs when Evan is nonverbal. Jared loves saying "I love you" and "baby" to Evan. It makes him blush 20: Jared and Evan spend time together just watching movies and eating snacks

So Many Acesan HCs (a lot of these are inspired by @beeforce ilu kite)

- While Ace was traveling with the crew to Alabasta him and Sanji just sort of Clicked, spending ridiculous amounts of their free time chatting together for people who just met. Since both their sleeping patterns are unusual, it wasn’t uncommon to find them in the kitchen at the crack of dawn giggling over tea, Ace insisting on helping prep breakfast

- Ace is 100% Sanjis first crush on a dude so he had some processing to go through that’s a different wormcan

- Sanji was nervous but Absolutely got his number before Ace had to leave, and hogs the phone c o n s t a n t l y

- Lucky for him Ace calls, while inconsistently, for hours whenever he manages to get the time. They love to swap stories about the dumb things they’ve gotten themselves into

- Ace sends a BUNCH of ingredients and little trinkets whenever the crew actually knows where they’re going. While he finds little things for all of them, Ace specifically looks for the weirdest sounding teas and ingredients he can grab for Sanji to try. Whenever the packages get in and they manage to line up the time, the crew will call up Ace to catch up and do little unwrapping parties—

- But once they’ve settled down and the kitchen gets quiet, Sanji takes the time to puzzle the ingredients together while they idly chat, and steep the tea. Ace keeps some of the blends for himself after the joke that if Sanji was going to willingly eat whatever poison Ace picked up off the streets of god knows where, Ace had to at least be decent enough to go down with him

- They drink together, Ace cackling at some of Sanji’s over the top criticisms while he gets onto Sanji for being unwilling to try the ones distilled from peppers— just enjoying their connection across thousands of miles

- Usopp and Nami are the worst teases about Sanjis not so secret crush, regularly bullying him about staring wistfully into the sunset every now and then. Nami particularly loves to hear him go on romantic tangents because 1) it gets him off her back 2) she thinks it’s genuinely adorable 3) has Lowkey been in touch with Ace too so could use it as blackmail at any moment

- (Luffy meanwhile did not pick up on it until Zoro made a jab about it)

- Meanwhile some of the Whitebeard crew (esp Whitebeard himself) are half convinced Ace and Sanji are already engaged the way Ace tends to croon on about him

- Sanji actually asked Ace out before the other got the chance, on accident too, because Sanji ends most his calls with “Love you” by habit

- You wouldn’t think it off the bat but Ace is highkey Lowkey the more romantic of the two simply because he’s unabashed about his feelings + recognized them for what they are much faster

- Ace is very much accustomed to casual touch and being handsy as a form of love— they had to work out boundaries quickly. Sanji just isn’t used to nonviolent physical contact from other guys. Though being around Luffy and Usopp has helped him relax a bit, Ace is a whooooole other level of PDA

-Since Ace has sooooome (just a feeeew) self worth + rejection issues, he took Sanji getting tense and unresponsive to his more forward flirting harder than intended n was moody for a bit. But they worked it out after some difficult conversations. Ace wants him to be comfortable as much as he wants to show his affection and Sanji more than makes up for his awkwardness in public by being a total cuddlebug when they’re alone

- Now /later/. Whoo boy later. When Sanji is confident in himself and Ace is secure in the fact that Sanji loves him and isn’t lying. They are. The MOST OBNOXIOUS couple

- Always have to be touching somehow, Sanji is really fond of sneaking a hand into Ace’s back pockets while Ace is all but draped over his shoulders, Ace using him as a chin rest frequently while they argue over little things

- U would not believe they’d only been dating for a few months they fit together so easily

- Ace is really fond of nicknames and calls Sanji all the classics like babe/darling/hon— but some of his faves are snickerdoodle, lemon / tart, and sugarsnap

- (He defiantly greets Sanji with a regular “Howdy stranger” thank you @cowboyzoro)

- Sanji is the opposite— when he’s being sassy or teasing he likes to use a sharp ‘Portgas’, but he manages to fit so much love and affection into such a short name that Ace is overwhelmed every time he says his name untethered

(Sanji: yeah I was chatting with ♥️♥️♥️♥️Ace♥️♥️♥️♥️ and—

Usopp: how the fuck did you do that with your mouth)

- He did spend a week or two trying to come up w something cutesy but realized that he likes Ace’s name just how it is

- (Tho Ace also really likes when he gets affectionally insulting + is impressed by his creative curses)

- Ace got Sanji the gentlecook shirt— he also likes to snatch it back time to time because Sanji gets occasionally grumpy that Ace owns no hoodies for him to steal. The shoulders have become very stretched out

- Whenever Sanji gets cramps Ace is his living hot water bottle—

- Ace frequently compares him to a cat because he runs cold and is constantly trying to steal Aces warmth either way

- They like. Planning impossible missions together just as thought exercises. Ace has drawn up actual maps and plans of attack for some of the biggest banks in the 4 seas just cause he and Sanji were bored

I have. So many AUs with them too. Including but not limited to:

- Modern College AU of course, where they’re long distance flirting. Both can’t decide if it’s too early to travel a few thousand miles to make out (and other hard choices)

- TattooArtist!Ace where Usopp *really* wants a piece done by a popular artist outside of town, but is too chicken for the needles. Sanji agreed to go with him as morale, planning on getting something small and stupid just so Usopp will feel better, but somehow ends up planning a whole sleeve just so he can keep visiting the cute artist

- A timeline in which Sanji could not escape his fate as a Vinsmoke and became an assassin— only he finds himself unable to carry out his mission when he meets the infamous pirate prince

- CANT say no to a good ol camp councilor AU— this ones mostly for ensemble shenanigans and Nami being mischievous

We all know how much of a goof he is, but he looks hellaintimidating when he’s just walking around doing his own thing. You’d probably thinkhe was out to kill you if he happened to look your way. He just happens to havea resting bitch face.

But then on the flip side… he has a really goofy-lookingsmile when he’s happy?? Like we’ve seen him smirk and whatever but as soon ashe shows his teeth you realize that it’s a wide smile with dimples and even hiseyes shine just a little brighter too. If you were a stranger and you saw himsmile, that would make you assume that he just has to be a good guy (even if you were a civilian who justwitnessed him pull a dine ‘n’ dash).

I can only imagine that before Whitebeard, Ace went aboutgetting people to join his crew in about the same vein as Luffy did. They bothleft the island the same way, in a boat with no one but themselves. Sure, Aceisn’t as blunt and boneheaded as Luffy can be, but they both have the samerecklessness and kindness within them. He most likely earned his crewmates trustbefore they joined his crew because by the end they were willing to die forhim.

He’d probably actually get them caught half the time,because he too is a total dumbass. He’d end up saying something he shouldn’t bewhen he thinks it’s just the three of them. The ASL bros are not very sharp,although the youngest does make the other two look better. Thanks, Luffy.

It’s absolutely adorable how he puts his brothers on such ahigh pedestal and admires them so much even when the two wanted nothing to withhim in the very beginning. I’m pretty sure that’s just how younger siblingsare, but it’s cute nonetheless. Before Ace and Sabo, Luffy must’ve been that ‘quiet’kid that wasn’t actually quiet, but was always off exploring where no one couldhear him because he didn’t have anyone else to share that adventurers spiritwith.

 He obviously likedto catch beetles as a kid too… It wouldn’t be too far if he gave them nicknamesbefore releasing them back into the wild. Even if he couldn’t tell some apart,he’d pretend he knew which one was which. Or maybe not pretend. He probablythought he knew.

He didn’t.

Out of all the strawhats, he’s definitely the mostaffectionate. Once you’re close to him, you’re suddenly aware that he has noclue what a “personal bubble” is.
