guess who's still thinking about Lucifer >.<
anyways thought it'd be fun, given my previous post about his dissociation with conversations, to try and guess what his takeaways were from his phone call with Charlie based on his reactions
Maybe I'm wrong about what he's catching and what he's missing but either way I had fun
strike through= what he missed
bold=what he caught
neither bold nor strikethrough= he might've heard it/made it out through the white noise, but not enough to connect the dots
RED= only heaven is in red cuz you cannot convince me otherwise that that's not a trigger word for him
Idk thought it’d be fun to try and guess what Lucifer is ACTUALLY hearing with his dissociation filter on let's GO
Lucifer: [insert absolute fail of hello]
Charlie: Hi Dad!
Lucifer: Hey! How are ya? Oh! Wh-wh-where are you these days?
Charlie: You know where I am, Dad… I’ve told you before…
Lucifer: You hAve? Oh. yeah Uh, erm well I um uh
Charlie: I told you when you called me five months ago! Or did you not listen?
Lucifer: No no no just forgot! I just forgot. I’ve been really busy with you know… um. iMpOrTanT tHiNgS
Charlie: Well I’m actually running a hotel to rehabilitate sinners, maybe you saw our commercial?
Lucifer: No? Sadly I… missed it!
Lucifer: You know I haven’t been watching much TV lately! Scrambles the brain!
Lucifer: but hey! A hotel! Fun!
Charlie: Listen, Dad, I’ve got kinda… a big ask?
Lucifer: -spit take- Yeah?! Of course! Anything in my power is yours for the asking you just name it
Charlie: I need to speak to heaven! Well, whoever’s in charge up there above Adam above anybody, I need to go to the top!
Lucifer: NO
Lucifer: no no no no
Lucifer: That’s uhahah no…
Charlie: Look! Dad! I don’t ask you for much. I never have, but this-this is really important to me. It’s the most important thing I’ve ever done and I… need… you… I need your help
Lucifer: I-... I don’t know Charlie
Charlie: Please just- Come see what I’m trying to do. You’ll see why it’s a really good idea and heaven is bound to agree if I get the chance to talk to them
Charlie: Please dad
Lucifer: wait… you’re… INVITING ME OVER???
Lucifer: ABSOLUTELY
Lucifer: I’LL BE THERE IN AN HOUR
___
so yeah, he can semi follow along but like crucial bits and pieces ARE being left out

This is literally one of my favorite moments for both Harry Kim and B’Elanna characterization.
I think a lot of people forget how soft hearted and altruistic B’Elanna specifically can be while Harry, of course a friendly and sweet individual, devotes himself most often to the mission, his friends and Starfleet’s ideals.
Harry’s been shown to be much more down-to-earth and less fantastical in his thinking than either Tom or B’Elanna. The only time he gets in major trouble with Janeway and breaks protocol is because he wants to be with a woman. This is distinctly different to me than Tom’s (attempting to save an alien world) and B’Elanna’s (giving a robot race the ability to reproduce) transgressions.
His other biggest infraction is begin a mutiny which he does in order to save Janeway & Chakotay. He doesn’t get in trouble for this which is why I put it last but again it seems different from Tom or B’Elanna to me because it’s For The Ship it’s For The Captain it’s a crime which displays his loyalty to Janeway instead of one which demonstrates him going against her ideologically (as shown by the lack of punishment).
In that way I think B’Elanna and Harry balance each other well.
B’Elanna is a person who seems very nervous and defensive when in conversation with others, who thinks of herself as a person who is ‘bad’ and doesn’t believe in herself much.
Meanwhile Harry seems to be at ease with most anyone he speaks to, attempting to befriend even Seven of Nine right away. He’s confident in himself and his abilities and out of everyone (yes even Tom who seems most often to just become frustrated) would be the one to push B’Elanna and break through her defenses.
That’s to say it makes perfect sense that B’Elanna would be absolutely enamored by this person who views her as inspiring, would be struck by that while Harry views it as just a weird question.

do we agree that the punch yuuji managed to land in sukuna is extremely similar if not of the same kind as the punch yuuji received from mahito's ultimate self-transfiguration form? yuuji seems to have the ability to directly inflict damage to the soul.
having in mind mahito was able to morph into a stronger body only when he realised the truest essence of his soul, which he achieved through the understanding of how black flashes work, would it be so weird to think that yuuji could potentially do the same thing as well? especially when: a) yuuji has managed to land (if i'm not mistaken in the number) a total of 7 black flashes so far in multiple occasions; b) yuuji has in his possession yuki's research on the soul; and, c) yuuji showed up with body modification to fight sukuna alongside higuruma.
yuuji was able to somehow manipulate his body into changing both of his arms (one arm with claws, much alike the one sukuna had when he was trapped inside yuuji's body, and one slightly similar to mahito's enlightened form).
yuuji is extremely insightful and it's not weird to think he might have taken his past experiences, especially instances with sukuna and mahito, to learn from them. joint with the fact yuuji is able to swap souls/bodies, something that was probably possible due to yuki's research, could yuuji have an understanding or even the ability of something akin to soul manipulation? i feel like with yuuji and mahito thematically being two sides of the same coin especially, something that is acknowledged by them with the "i am you" dialogue, it would be interesting if they essencially used a similar power to achieve opposite goals.

Stray Kids Dynamics: Changbin and Han
HJ - So, I'm jealous. Because if I write a solo song, the lyrics of the song end up a lot lighter than I originally expected. There were so many times where I changed my lyrics completely. And your ideas. I'm so jealous of your ideas. ...You found so many of the unique keywords. In the behind the scenes, the other members often say, "Han is a genius," but I think you're the real genius.
CB - Personally, when I look at our performances, you can take on a variety of things. Having a variety of facial expressions, I'm jealous of all that. Everyone has their own style when it comes to performing, but since we're idols and do a variety of concepts, I think there a lot of things that I take cue from you while monitoring those performances. You do these little gestures that fit the lyrics really well, but you do those on the spot.

According to the lore, once someone finds their portkey they will dream. Once they wake up from the dream they need to go to the place that they dreamt about and then they'll go home.
Talay finally dreamt. He has a place he now needs to go in order to go home. Theoretically, he should just do that and he'll get back to his own universe. If this is correct, then I'm not worried that he won't be able to go back. And we've already seen from the ep 11 trailer that Puen has already found 'Talay' (or Tess in Talay's body). So, although there's the prospect of angst in ep 11, I'm not too affected by it now because everything should all work out.
As for Puen, there are two possibilities: 1) he had already dreamt and hadn't told anyone and the place they camped was the place he knew he needed to go to, so he went, fell asleep, and then got transported back. Or b) It was Pakorn who dreamt, went to the place he needed to go to, and made his way home - thus sending Puen home before Puen had a chance to dream.
But I think the first one is more likely, since when Talay woke up 'Puen', Pakorn's first words were "I dreamt too, Tess!" meaning Pakorn had only just dreamt and therefore hadn't had time to actually go to the place he needed to from his dream (it also meant Pakorn and Tess had connected and thought they were each other's portkeys). Also, before they went to sleep, Puen recited the line from the film to Talay, "though we aren't together tomorrow..." as though he knew he wouldn't see him once he woke up.
Now, if any of this is wrong, I'll be annoyed because it means the process to go home that we've been told over and over (i.e. the dreaming, then going to the place in the dream) has been a lie and the show can't just change that at this stage dammit.
