blorbo bingo sealand.....<3
Tumblr media
I will be honest, in my first run through the fandom i hated this kid. but i was also a kid (I was 13-16 during that time). Looking back now, I think I may have had such distaste for him because in ways I was pretty similar to him (didn't get the support or approval from my guardians I needed and wanted).
I've really come around to Sealand since coming back and I really think Gutters by glassamilk helped me with that. Granted I'm not an Angsty Teen anymore so that helps. I think he's pretty alright!! I wish no harm upon the little lad and I am a SUCKER for dual-custody England and SuFin. LET! ENGLAND! CARE!
I think my favorite content I've seen of him still dates back to old fandom and it was an edit someone made of Sweden slamming the cardboard box over Sealand from The Beautiful World to the beat of the song Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani. I think I have it screen-recorded somewhere if anyone's interested, but I can't remember who made it originally and it dates back to 2015/2016. I'll have to figure out who made it somehow because I really want others to enjoy it as much as I do.
His antics can get to be a little much at times, but he's also literally a kid who wants to make the people he looks up to proud. He's just a little guy!!! I especially love his role in askcardsuit's cardverse AU.
I'm not that big into the micronations overall, but having looked into Sealand's history is pretty neat! A good couple of fun facts to drop on my unsuspecting friends.

You're my friend now
Summary: Okay but seriously, Sarahi works on her own at the palace, barely speaking to anyone. The animals are a welcome respite. Thank goodness, the animals won't be her only friends going forward. Barnaby exists.
A/N: I wrote this and other fics while I was bored out of my mind waiting for paperwork to get done. So it isn't proofread, probably nonsense, and mostly written for funsies. If I make art I'll just post it seperately. If I make any.
HPHM Cardverse AU by @ariparri
XXX
Sarahi had only been working in the palace for a week when one day she was assigned the stables to clean. And while most maids would groan at that, Sarahi was excited, because it would mean finally being able to see the horses. Ignoring everyone's confused looks, she made sure to sneak some sugar cubes from the kitchen to feed them.
Creatures are friends, and friends are meant to be spoiled with affection after all. The only other time she'd seen the horses was when she was watching them graze, and this one white horse with black hair came very close to the fence and let Sarahi pat him. Sarahi had been wanting to go to the stables since, hoping to make a friend.
She'd come out with two.
The stables… they smelled bad. But that is to be expected when animals are involved, so Sarahi wasn't too bothered. The horses let out some curious whinnys at the new person in their stables.
As happy as she was to be surrounded by horses, Sarahi was well-aware that she would have to finish cleaning up first. There was hay all over the floor, hoof marks from when the horses were brought inside, and the unfortunate consequences of the horses that went number two a little too late.
Sarahi let out a sigh and began cleaning up.
XXX
The cleanup took nearly three whole hours. But every time Sarahi would get tired or annoyed, a random horse would nose at her for a sugar cube, or give her an encouraging whinny, which instantly brightened her mood. That white horse she met earlier got most of the sugar cubes, given that it was the one who poked Sarahi the most.
"I'm going to run out of sugar cubes if you keep eating them bud." Sarahi giggled, as the horse ate it's third sugar cube in a row. The horse huffed, and still nosed at her face for more.
"Stars above, bud! Let the others have some too!" Sarahi laughed. She pulled away to feed the other horses before this white one could eat them all.
XXX
Most of the horses seemed content with the amount of sugar cubes they had eaten, and had long since gone back to their own food. Except, of course, the white horse, that still stubbornly nosed at Sarahi's back for more sugar cubes.
Sarahi let out an amused sigh. "Oh alright. Don't tell the others, but I saved this last one for you, okay?"
Saying so, Sarahi held out her palm with one more sugar cube, which was instantly eaten by the white horse. It let out a pleased sound, as if it was satisfied about getting the last cube.
Sarahi chuckled. She was never more comfortable than she was around animals. For some reason, every time she was with a group of creatures, one or two members of that group would take to her. Like the one black puppy in that litter near her house, that gray horse named Moor in the University stables that kept trying to chew on her hair, the light brown rabbit in the gardens, and now this white horse in this herd.
As if trying to express his thanks for being treated as special, the white horse nosed at Sarahi's face politely. Sarahi took this as being allowed to let him, which he seemed very happy about, as he let out a soft huff.
"Awww… aren't you just a lovely, absolutely spoiled boy? But you're a good boy! Yes you are!"
Sarahi was so into babying this horse that she didn't notice the stable door open.
"Hey, Dash!" Came a cheerful voice. "Did you make a new friend?"
The white horse, named Dash, looked over to the newcomer and winnied loudly in reply.
Sarahi, however, had all color drained from her face as she instantly realized that the horse she was patting away belonged to Barnaby Lee, the Ace of Hearts. She immediately backed away from the horse and neatly clasped her hands in front of her to appear as small as possible.
"I am sorry. I was just finishing up cleaning in here. I'll leave."
Dash was clearly having none of it, because it prodded Sarahi again to demand more pets. The Ace laughed.
"Aw, but Dash seems to love you already! How many sugar cubes did you give him?"
"Too many… Wait! How did you know I gave him sugar cubes!? Was I not supposed to!? Well… I know I wasn't actually supposed to but he was such a friendly boy and I thought-"
"Hey hey hey, slow down." Barnaby said, as he approached to pat his horse too. "Dash will just take to anyone that gives him sugar cubes. Though this isn't the first time he's let you pet him."
Sarahi hesitantly continued petting Dash. After all, her own fear of talking to other people (especially important people) was no fault of the horse.
"Uh…"
"Hey, you're new to the palace, right? Dash let you pet him earlier too! When he was grazing? Yeah, I think he was grazing."
The Ace looked thoughtful, but quickly beamed at the maid. Sarahi didn't notice, as she didn't look at his face, and kept her attention on the horse.
"Say, do you like creatures?" He asked.
Sarahi was startled. "Huh?"
"Do you like creatures?" He asked again. Unlike most people, the Ace showed no annoyance in having to repeat his question.
"Why… uh… why do you ask?"
"Oh! I know I love creatures! Just wondering if you liked them too!" He replied.
Sarahi blinked. Wasn't the Ace of Hearts said to be a tough, ferocious guy? This man seemed so innocent, and sweet. He was still smiling, and patiently waiting for her to give an answer.
Sarahi took a deep breath. "Yes, uh… I do love animals and creatures and all. They're all really lovely. Dash is very polite."
"Right!?" Barnaby squealed. "Dash is my best buddy! He's the dashiest of horses! Aren't you buddy?"
Dash answered with a loud whinny.
Sarahi had forgotten to hold back her chuckle. The Ace of Hearts was absolutely radiating with joy.
"Have you ridden a horse before?" He asked.
Sarahi smiled. "I have! I used to ride a horse from the University stables sometimes, back when I was still there."
"Oh, were you the one riding Moor?"
"How did you- yes, I did ride Moor. He… uh. He wasn't the fastest so a lot of students just ignored him. I felt bad for the buddy, so I wanted to make sure he felt good too. I hope he did…"
"Great, I've been out of University for a week and I already miss him." Sarahi added under her breath.
"I'm sure you riding Moor cheered him up, really!" Barnaby said. "He was always happy to get out of the stables. Have you been riding horses long?"
"Huh? No. The only other horse I rode was when my grandmother took me to a farm once and I got to ride a big brown horse. I remember his name was Blue."
Barnaby raised an eyebrow. "Why would one name a brown horse Blue?"
Sarahi shrugged. "The world may never know."
XXX
If anyone told Sarahi earlier that day that she would be discussing her favorite creatures with the Ace of Hearts that afternoon, she would have called them delusional. And yet, this man had somehow pulled out from Sarahi, her bucket list of every creature she wanted to meet, while he told her of his own.
"Unicorns." Sarahi had added. "They're extremely skittish. My father tells me tales of how a unicorn used to eat out of my grandmother's hands when he was a boy. I have never seen any, alas, but someday…"
Barnaby nodded. "Did you know that unicorn foals are golden?"
"I do! And they're horns are just little nubs. I'm sure they look absolutely precious!!"
"Oh you'd love the Abraxan Derby! It's an event in the Land of Clubs!"
"I've heard of it. I've always wanted to see an Abraxan up close. I really want to see how big one is compared to me. And do you need a huge saddle to ride on one?"
"I don't know but I'd love to participate in the Abraxan Derby! I like to think I'm pretty good at riding."
"I'm sure you are, I mean… Dash wouldn't love you so much if you didn't ride him well. I'd probably fall off the saddle. Moor just didn't seem to mind my fidgeting, I think.."
"Well, given how much Dash likes you, maybe he would let you try?"
"Pfff… He only likes me because I gave him one too many sugar cubes. More sugar can't be good for his health."
"Are you sure? Because he hasn't stopped whining for your attention since we started talking."
Dash huffed in response to his rider and prodded at Sarahi's face again. That was all it took to remind Sarahi where she actually was and who she was rambling about Unicorns and Abraxans with.
The maid sighed. "I have to leave now, buddy. Maybe I'll be assigned here again next week."
Barnaby nervously chuckled. "Oh. Right… we were talking for too long, huh?"
Sarahi gave a polite nod. "I must get to my other chores before I get yelled at. I do apologize for taking up your time, sir."
The confusion on the Ace's face was almost amusing.
"What?" He asked.
Sarahi blinked. "Huh?"
"Was me rambling on about creatures getting annoying?"
"What!? No!" Sarahi yelled, shaking her head in disbelief. "If anything, this was the most fun conversation I've had in a long time!"
Barnaby clapped "I feel that way too! That's great! So… what were you apologizing for?"
"Uh… taking up your time?"
"Shouldn't I be apologizing for taking up yours?"
"No! Your time is more important than mine, isn't it?"
It was like more question marks were appearing over Barnaby's head with every passing question.
"Why would my time be more important than yours? Also… how did we go from unicorns to… time?"
"Well, to start it's because you're the Ace of Hearts, and I'm just some maid. And secondly… you're right. Um… how did we get here?"
Barnaby's face slowly broke out into a smile before he started giggling. Sarahi looked around nervously, not sure what exactly he was amused by.
"I just remembered that I forgot to ask your name. What's your name?" Barnaby asked, now that his fit of giggles stopped.
"Oh. I'm Sarahi."
Barnaby beamed. "I like you, Sarahi. You're nice!"
"Huh…?"
Barnaby tilted his head at the lack of response. "Hello?"
"May I ask you a question?"
"Sure!"
"Why are you talking to me?"
"Oh, is that all? Well, I was coming in here to see Dash, and he seemed to like you. So that made me think that you were nice and liked horses. And turns out you like creatures, just like me! And that's great! I've always loved creatures, and it's always nice to meet more creature lovers. The more love for them, the better, right?"
Sarahi turned away and frowned a bit. "I see. It's just that… didn't you hear what I said earlier? You're the Ace of Hearts, and I'm…"
"What? You're just Sarahi, right?"
"I'm just a maid."
"So, just Sarahi. Me being the Ace and you being a maid is important… why? Head's getting a bit muddled."
Sarahi turned to the man to see him so genuinely confused that she wanted to laugh. "You don't think that someone as great as you shouldn't have to interact with or be close to anyone of my level? You know… the maid that just spent 3 hours cleaning up after the poor horses whose lunch didn't sit right?"
Barnaby giggled again. "No, I don't think that. In fact, I can't think of any reason I'd possibly think that. You're nice, so why wouldn't I be nice to you?"
"Huh. Important people usually aren't."
"Then let me be the first to change that." Barnaby smiled, and extended a hand to the maid. "I'm Barnaby."
Sarahi hesitated for a bit, but then decided to take her chances. She shook his hand.
"Sarahi. Nice to meet you, sir."
"Huh? No no no! You're my friend now, why would you call me sir? Just Barnaby, okay?"
"Uh… okay? Nice to meet you then… Barnaby? Look, I'm sorry, but I really need to leave. Heaven forbade me from ever being on time since the day I was born, apparently."
Dash, who had just been an observer for most of the conversation, let out a sad little huff.
Sarahi gave the horse another reassuring pat on the snout. "Oh it's okay, bud! I'll be back next week. Just don't eat all the sugar next time."
The maid picked up her bucket and then looked back. "It was a pleasure to meet you, both of you."
"Same here. Dash and I will see you here next week then?"
"Huh? You'll be here as well?"
"I'm sure it'll be a lot more fun if you have someone other than the horses to look at. And I can introduce you to the other horses too!"
Sarahi grinned at the idea. "Really!?"
"Yes!" Barnaby answered, mirroring her excitement.
"I'd love that! I'm so excited for next week! See you then, Dash and Barnaby!"
XXX
Sarahi had already gotten scolded by the Senior maid and gotten her next list of chores when she actually thought harder about what happened at the stables.
"Mama seems to be wrong." She thought. "Maybe not everyone hates me? Maybe he won't drop me? Too early to tell, I guess. But a friend? Here, at the Palace? Eh... Who am I kidding, he won't show up. But imagine… a friend here…"
XXX
"You're… you're actually here."
Sarahi let out that thought without thinking as she entered the stables, only to see Barnaby pacing back and forth.
Barnaby noticed, and gave her a big smile and a wave. "Sarahi, hi!"
The maid beamed at him in return. "It's nice to see you again."
I think I have a friend in the palace. I have a friend.

Alright here's some questions
If you could have one country added to canon who would it be?
Favourite minor character ?
Favourite AU?
Favourite nekotalia design?
Thank you!!!
What country would I add to canon? Mannn, Scotland’s canon now so I don’t really have an answer for this anymore (rip to fanon Scotland though 😭) I’d would love to see the UK countries in the anime though.
For my favourite minor characterrr… It depends who counts as a minor character lol. Prussia is like my second favourite character (2nd only to England) but idk if he really counts as a minor character (same for Hungary). I’d probably go for Belarus because I think she’s really interestinggg
Favourite AU is probably Cardverse to be honest, it’s just so good!
I like Prussia’s nekotalia design off the top of my head but I can’t even remember if that was canon or not lol. Germany’s is good too, I just really like the flag tied round the neck, it’s cute. Russia’s a vibe too tbh.

CARDVERSE AU MY BELOVED LETS GO-
Tumblr media
King Eret of Hearts, Ruler of the Hearts Kingdom
Age: Unknown Species: Unknown Ability: Can see into different periods of time. In all the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The mysterious ruler of the Hearts Kingdom, most known for agriculture, has had the eyes of many other rulers. The most unusual of the King, are their eyes. More-so, the lack of said eyes. They are said to be kind when spoken with, but any Royal of the other kingdoms speak of a different emotion hidden within the eyes. Nonetheless, they are popular with the people of whom they rule over.
They have chosen a baker, Ms. Niki Nihachu, to become the Queen of Hearts. Their relationship is only platonic and they act more of siblings, a bond that is not unusual between Royals.    They have also chosen a young orphan boy, Sir Ranboo Beloved, to be the Jack of Hearts. Their relationship is unknown to the public, seeing as it is quite rare to see Sir Ranboo out of the Castle.    The Jack of Hearts, Sir Fundy Soot, was an interesting decision that many of the public cried over. But the King had said nothing of it, and allowed the Son of a Joker to enter the Kingdom. Their relationship is said to be brotherly and almost parental in some cases.

To Be A Queen
Tumblr media
-
Arthur: It’s alright. I will only be gone 3 days - your family can stay in the palace as your person servants in your wing of the castle so no one will know. All you have to do is take my place. I will teach you how to be a Queen.
My Kingdom is fair, healing from a many winter war but the people are happy and the King is kind - all you have to do is smile and wave.
-
( hello everyone! I hope you guys enjoy this last big post/project for my cardverse au event! I thought it would be amazing to have the great @ask-canon2pengland-andfriends join me in this last little event - a Princess and the Pauper take in the AU! Please enjoy their lovely art work and this very amusing take on the section in the movie: “To be a Princess.”)

cardverse au with queen arthur longing for his playboy husband. :D
Title: The Same Bed Pairing: USUKWords: 1,705AU: Cardverse AUGenre: Romance/DramaStory summary: Queen Arthur is madly in love with his King, but he’s certain the King doesn’t reciprocate. A/N: Thanks for the request boo!
Queen Arthur was madly in love with his King.
Alfred was exactly what the Brit had always wanted - charismatic, happy, optimistic, kind, and so much more. He was funny, boisterous, affectionate, honest, and undeniably handsome. Arthur would have been blissfully happy in his marriage if it weren’t for one simple problem.
King Alfred was not in love with him.
Even before their marriage Alfred had gained a reputation as a playboy. Every week there were pictures in the tabloids of Alfred with someone new, kissing in alleyways or empty shops or the balcony outside his bedroom. He clearly had an insatiable appetite - one Arthur was happy to try and fulfill, if only he was given the chance.
Alfred treated him well despite their arranged marriage, this much Queen Arthur couldn’t deny. The King spent much of his free time with Arthur, making sure to compliment and support his husband in all that he did. He showered Arthur with gifts, making sure that he wanted for nothing no matter the cost and assuring that Arthur was living in the lap of luxury at all times.
But at night, it was not Arthur who Alfred went to bed with. Arthur knew it shouldn’t matter to him - it was an all too common scenario for an arranged marriage such as theirs - but it did. He wanted more than anything to be with Alfred, to take their relationship from an affectionate friendship to the romantic partnership it was intended to be. Instead he laid alone at night, wondering which of Alfred’s many partners would get to cry his husband’s name that night.
Arthur couldn’t understand why Alfred had never given him the chance to prove himself. Arthur had done everything he could think of to make himself desirable to his husband, but Alfred had yet to so much as flirt with Arthur. It was clear that he wasn’t at all attracted to Arthur, a thought which devastated the Queen. He knew it could never be, and yet he was desperate to love and be loved by his King.
He was such a fool he even turned down other suitors. Many had pursued the Queen, knowing very well that he was in a loveless marriage and knowing that the King carried on his fair share of extramarital affairs. Although no newspaper had gotten pictures of King Alfred with anyone aside from his Queen since they’d been married, Arthur knew the affairs were still taking place. If not, why wouldn’t Alfred at least attempt to seduce him?
The latest man to approach Arthur with the intention to seduce him was a high-ranking member of Alfred’s court, a single man with a good fortune and a reputation much like the King’s in terms of his sexual appetite.
He was anything but discreet about his proposition; he approached Arthur while the King sat on the opposite side of the room, leaning over the desk where Arthur was reading with a sly smile. After a short conversation in which Arthur was quick to shut down any notion of an affair, the man left with a dejected look upon his face.
Within moments, Alfred approached Arthur’s desk. The Queen’s heart began to beat rapidly as it always did when the gorgeous blue eyes of his husband focused in on him.
“Did he want to sleep with you?” Alfred demanded, looking somewhat annoyed for a reason Arthur couldn’t place.
“Yes,” Arthur answered immediately, not bothering to hide what had happened. He couldn’t bear to lie to Alfred. Not that it would matter anyway; Arthur was well aware that the King didn’t care who he carried on with.
“And you turned him down?”
Again, Arthur gave a short reply, “yes.”
Alfred tilted his head to the side and frowned at the Queen, regarding him as though he were a puzzle. “Why?”
“I don’t want him.”
The King frowned. “You don’t seem to want anyone,” he muttered grumpily, turning away.
Arthur’s brows furrowed, confused by Alfred’s attitude. “I beg your pardon? What’s that supposed to mean?”
Alfred turned back to face him and shook his head. “Just that I haven’t heard of you accepting a single person who wanted you. Why do you reject everyone?”
Arthur wanted to pull his hair out. He wanted to scream in Alfred’s face. Isn’t it obvious, you idiot? Why would I bother with anyone else when they can’t be half of what you are? How could I bear to be with anyone but you? How could you expect me to be with any other man when I’m so mad for you?
But he contained himself and stood up, meeting Alfred’s eyes with a steely gaze. “I believe in loyalty in a marriage, unlike you.”
“Wh--Unlike me? What the hell are you talking about, Arthur?” Alfred demanded, eyes narrowing with anger. It was clear he was offended by the Queen’s words, though Arthur couldn’t see why. It wasn’t as though he’d ever hid the fact that he didn’t love his Queen, nor had he been discreet about his frequent lovers before their marriage.
“Oh, God, Alfred, do you think I’m totally stupid? You think that just because you’re not getting caught by the press anymore that I believe you’re not sleeping with anyone else?” Arthur huffed, the heat of anger beginning to overtake his usual icy demeanor.
He moved around the desk and began to walk away, unwilling to loose control of himself in such a way. He’d already revealed too much by showing Alfred that he was hurt by his affairs. If he said any more, he ran the risk of having his feelings discovered by his King.
Alfred ran forward, dashing in front of Arthur before the Queen could leave. “Who the hell told you I was sleeping with other people?!” He demanded, fuming.
“Does it matter? I’m not an idiot, Alfred! You think I never saw the news? You’d slept with half of Spades by the time we were married!” Arthur shouted in return, face red with anger.
“That was in the past! I didn’t even know who you were! I don’t care about what I did then--I want to know who the fuck told you that I’m having an affair!”
“Why the fuck do you care so much?!”
“Because I’m not having an affair!”
Arthur threw his hands up in the air. “God, Alfred, how much of an idiot do you think I am?! We sleep in different bedrooms, for god’s sake! I know you had more than one person over in the month after our wedding! Why the hell would you quit now?!”
“Because I love you!” Alfred roared. Arthur froze, astonished, but the King continued to shout. “I slept with one person after we got married and it was a mistake! I thought I could pretend I didn’t care that I would never get you to love me, but I couldn’t! I couldn’t sleep with anyone else when I wanted you, alright?! So don’t tell me what you think you know about me, because you have no idea what you’re talking about!”
Arthur stood stock still, frozen in shock. He could hardly process what he was hearing, let alone think of any type of intelligent response to it. When he did manage to speak, his voice came out in a whisper. “Why... Why did you insist on separate bedrooms, then?”
Alfred’s face fell and he ran through his hair. “God damn it,” he muttered, shaking his head. “I asked for separate rooms because I overheard you telling one of your older brothers that you were disgusted by the prospect of being with me. You told him that you’d rather marry anyone else than me, that you detested the idea of an arranged marriage, and that you would rather spend the rest of your life alone than with an arrogant idiot like me. I didn’t want to force you into anything when it was obvious that you didn’t want to be with me, so I asked for separate rooms.”
Arthur stared at Alfred in stunned silence, mind whirring. He could hardly believe his ears!
Alfred sighed heavily and continued. His voice was quieter now, sad and defeated. “Look, you don’t have to respond. Just don’t... Don’t act like you know what’s going on. I value loyalty, too. I just knew that yours would never lie with me.”
With that said, Alfred hung his head and turned away, setting a hand on the doorknob. Desperate to keep Alfred where he was, Arthur jerked forward and grabbed Alfred’s arm, pulling him back. The King turned toward him, bewildered.
“Don’t go,” Arthur said quickly, breathlessly. “Please let me explain myself. What I said then was a mistake, I swear. Just like you and that women after the wedding. I only said it because I didn’t want to admit to my older brother that I was excited to get married. I-I’d been smitten with you since I saw your picture for the first time, Alfred. When I found out that I was going to get to marry you, I was ecstatic. But Alistair teased me about it so often and I didn’t want him to see how much of a fool I really was. I swear what I said wasn’t true.”
Alfred nodded slowly as he processed this. “So... So you did want to marry me?”
“Of course I did. I admit that it was puppy love at first, but the more time we spent together the more I wanted you.”
Alfred paused for a moment and then reached out, slowly slipping an arm around Arthur’s waist. “D’you still want me?” He asked hesitantly.
Arthur couldn’t help but to struck by the sudden shyness the usually bold King possessed in that moment. Alfred touched him with such gentility and tenderness, he was half surprised he didn’t melt on the spot.
Arthur reached his hands up to cup Alfred’s tan face between his pale palms. “Of course I do. I... I love you too, Alfred.”
A giddy grin split Alfred’s face. “Does this mean we can sleep in the same bed now?”
Arthur grinned, tugging Alfred closer. “Darling, we can do more than just sleep in it,” he purred.

Screw it, gonna give out my top 10 favourite AUs I have outta my 100, alright, here we gool
10. Magical Boys AU
Idk something about SBI and Dream Team being magical Boys who have to begrudgingly team up against the Evil Egg Gem who is controlling other Magical Boys is just very pog to me.
9. Facility AU
An AU where some of the characters are held in a facility (kinda like, scp style but not really) and Sam runs the facility while Wilbur and Tommy find a day job there!! Lotta angst and shenanigans
8. Cardverse AU
Hear me out- Eret as the King of Hearts, George as the King of Spades, Philza as the King of Clubs, and Jschlatt as the King of Diamonds. Like, yes. Good stuff here. Bit of Wars but very pog.
7. The Ran Fam AU
Basically a self fulfilling AU where Ranbob, Ran, and Butler, all kinda accidentally time travel to one another and end up as a family. I enjoy is SO MUCH. Good vibes
6. Street Smarts AU
Ranboo, after talking his way out of a mugging, gains the attention of the Villain Dream and ends up getting hired to become a negotioator. Let's just say, Ranboo certainly doesn't want his parents (Karl and Sapnap) to find out about his day and night job. (Karlnapity with Quackity angst is involved)
5. The Retired God and the Boy Who Loves Bees
It's a good one. Much comfort. Has its own Fic I am slowly updating sksk. Basically, Techno lives out on his own in the forest when someone steals some of his stock from him, and continues to steal. So Techno lays out a trap and ends up adopting a scrawny kid named Tubbo who seems to be running from something. Lotta Techno and Tubbo fluff. And angst.
4. Teenagers Go Whoops AU
Look, four powered teenagers on an adventure? Oh you bet it's gonna get chaotic. Two main storylines. Ranboo and Purpled are neutral vigilantes who don't care about sides (except for when they do), while Tommy and Tubbo are currently getting chased by a major villain and a major hero because they may or may not have hacked into something they shouldn't. Great times!
3. The One End AU
New AU! But basically, the Dimensions are divided. Overworld had Kingdoms and Empires. Nether has Tribes and Factions. The End is One. Dream, Prince of the End, wants to Rule all the Dimensions and create "The True End". A tavern owner named Wilbur happens to save a kid from said Prince when said kid finds a cool looking "rock" that happens to be an Eye of Ender. Wilbur then decided to stop Dream from whatever he's doing. He's in quite a story to tell.
2. Family Born Apart and Torn to Shreds AU
ANGST. MUCH ANGST. Philza (Avian) adopts Hybrids, and has 6 children. Wilbur (siren), Techno (piglin), Grian (avian), Tubbo (ram), Ranboo (Enderman/???), and Tommy (Human). Their home gets attacked, and their split apart. Four Main storylines take place, following the different people/groups that got seperated. LOTS OF ANGST
1. The Worlds Meet AU
My favourite, by far. Follows citizens of a town of L'manburg, who discover a tale of a beast known as a Wither. They go off to defeat the Wither, just as an adventure, unknown that there was much more to the Wither than meets the eye. The citizens go through much hardships, and even betrayal. Only to return home, changed. The next storyline (i refer to it as book two), where a Chaos God has taken over the village, and the citizens are once again asked to adventure to find the 12 Ender Eyes, in hopes to defeat the Dragon in order to gain a potion that can defeat the Chaos God. This Au has so much; it has Kingdoms, an entire Pantheon, dnd esque themes, angst, dimensions, it's honestly amazing and its my favourite.
Big props to anyone who actually read all of this- sksksk you are pog whoever read this lol

NWC #10
Started this on Friday, just finished it today. This is definitely one of the better ones I’ve written for this challenge, although I can’t say I’ve totally mastered it yet.
Pairing: USUK + France & UK friendship :) Words: 2,716 Rating: T AU: Human/Cardverse kinda Genre: Romance Summary: The Prince of Spades is engaged to be married, but not to the man he loves. A/N: Lmao, I’m always writing fics where Arthur is in love with Alfred first!! I need to write one where they fall in love at the same time hahaha.
It was raining in Spades kingdom. Arthur gazed wistfully out the window, wishing for sunshine. Although he usually loved the rain, he'd made plans earlier in the week to take an outing to the market, accompanied by his fiancée. Since it was an outdoor market and the rain showed no signs of letting up, he and Francis had resolved to stay inside for the day and finalize plans for their wedding.
"A pianist or a harpist?" Arthur asked the man, shifting through the profiles the wedding planner had given them which gave a small summary of any relevant information for each of their music options.
"Pianist." Francis said. "We've been at this for hours. Can we do something else?" He asked.
Arthur nodded, relieved by the man's suggestion. "Thank God you said something; I'm starting to get a headache from all of these tedious plans. What do you want to do instead?"
"Well, we could go to the window and watch Alfred while he works," Francis suggested with a cheeky grin, resting his chin in palm as he gazed across the table at Arthur.
Arthur felt heat rise to his face and attempted to cover it up with anger. "Oh, shut it, frog! What reason would I have to stare at a garden hand?" He huffed, feigning ignorance to Francis' implications.
"Perhaps the fact that you're foolishly in love with him might have something to do with it," said Francis in return, blue eyes twinkling with amusement.
Arthur glared down the table at Francis, abnormally thick brows furrowed and thin lips downturned in attempt to silence his fiancée. The man merely laughed, flipped his long, wavy hair over his shoulder, and leaned back in his chair.
It was common knowledge within the palace that the Arthur and his fiancée weren't in love each other. They certainly loved each other, yes; they'd been best friends since their infancy (though neither would admit any degree of affection for the other under the pain of death). Soon after Arthur was born, his parents had selected his fiancée for him. As the Prince of Spades, he'd needed someone high-ranking, with wealth and good manners. Francis, the son of a Duke, had been an easy selection to make. The pair had grown up together, always aware of their engagement, but they'd never fallen in love.
Francis had fallen in love with a similarly-ranking official in the Clubs kingdom ages ago, and the pair had been in a secret relationship for years. Arthur was well-aware of their relationship, and while it wasn't much of a scandal for Francis to he with someone else until he and Arthur were actually married, they'd both thought it best to keep it well-hidden.
Arthur, for his part, had remained impervious to love for the better portion of his twenty years of life. Unlike Francis, who had been in many relationships over the years, Arthur had never formed any long-lasting romantic inclinations toward anyone. He considered himself more of a solitary individual, needing only the occasional 'company' of a second person to sate him.
That is, until his father had hired a new gardener.
Alfred Jones was barely sixteen when he started working for the castle. Arthur, one year his senior, had been taken instantly by the incredible beauty the man possessed. He became a habitual wanderer of the extensive castle grounds in hopes of seeing Alfred, and his goal was reached more often than not. The pair became fast friends, often swapping sarcastic insults back and forth and debating whatever topic had been presented.
A year with Alfred passed faster than any other year of Arthur's life, a feat which the Brit couldn't help but to attribute to the newfound happiness he'd gained upon Alfred's arrival. Soon, a year had become two, and two became three. Although Arthur knew them to be the happiest years of his life, they had also been filled with incredible torment, for Arthur had fallen madly in love with Alfred.
To love Alfred doomed Arthur. The American, while possessing many charms, was of no rank or wealth. Even if Arthur had been able to break his engagement to Francis, he would never be permitted to be with Alfred, nor did Arthur know if Alfred even wanted to be with him. While Arthur had grown closer to Alfred than anyone else he knew, he was clueless to the American's feelings for him in return. Alfred had told Arthur of several hook-ups during their friendship, and though none of them were recent, he hadn't given the Brit any reason to believe he felt anything more than a platonic affection for him.
A knock at the door interrupted Arthur and Francis' silent stare-down. Arthur rose from his seat and opened the door, flushing at the sight of the man in the doorway.
Alfred was standing standing outside the door, soaking wet from head to toe and running a hand through his waterlogged hair. Dirt covered his clothes and arms, along with a smudge on his cheek. He dropped his hands at the sight of Arthur, bowing respectfully before he looked up and grinned at the Brit.
"Hi, your highness," Alfred greeted.
"H-Hello, Alfred." Arthur greeted in reply, trying his hardest not to think about the soaking wet shirt that currently was clinging to Alfred's perfectly toned torso.
"I'm supposed to ask what kind of flowers you want for the wedding. We're gonna start planting them around the garden."
"Today? Isn't it a bit early for that?" Arthur questioned, frowning.
Alfred shrugged. "Not necessarily, but if you don't know yet, you still have some time before you have to know. Do you want me to come back another time?"
"Er, no, we've picked the flowers." Arthur turned on his heel and retreated into the room, motioning for Alfred to follow him in.
" Hi, Duke Bonnefoy." Alfred greeted with a respectful bow to the man in the room.
Francis smiled knowingly and waggled his fingers in the way of a wave. Then, standing suddenly, he turned to Arthur.
"You know, I think I'd like to go try on some of the clothes I bought yesterday." Francis said.
"What?" Arthur asked, surprised. "But—" when Francis shot him a pointed look and jerked his head toward Alfred (who was preoccupied by the various documents strewn about the table), Arthur paused and abruptly shut his mouth. Then, "yes. Alright."
"Oh, and Alfred?"
The American's head jerked up and he turned toward Francis. "Yes, sir?" He asked.
"Would you please do me the favor of bringing Arthur dinner tonight? He'll eat in his room at seven. Usually I would, but I'm afraid I have a meeting tonight and will be otherwise occupied." Francis explained, a sweet smile plastered onto his handsome face.
"Wha—Francis!" Arthur sputtered, gaping.
Alfred nodded. "Of course, sir, as you wish. I would be happy to." He said.
"Thank you, Alfred. You are divine." Francis purred, shooting a cheeky smile in Arthur's direction before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.
"So," Alfred said, turning back toward Arthur. "What were the flowers you wanted?" He asked.
"Erm, I think we've settled on white orchids." Arthur answered, somewhat flushed in the face. "Francis prefers them."
Alfred raised a brow. "You don't like them?"
"No, they're lovely, really. I'm partial to the rose, though." Arthur answered, shrugging. "Ah, well. Sometimes sacrifices must be made in order to get married."
Alfred frowned. "What kind of sacrifices? I thought getting married was supposed to be something amazing, y'know? I mean, especially if you're in love, right?" He said naively.
Arthur sighed heavily, meeting Alfred's eyes for a moment. Incredible sadness swam in them, and Alfred seemed aware of it. He took a step forward. Alfred reached for the Prince's face only to stop short, instead dropping his hand to the elder's shoulder.
"Arthur...?" Began Alfred gently, concern etched into his handsome face.
"I suppose therein lies the problem," said Arthur sadly. "For Francis and I may be getting married, but we don't love each other. Not the way two people are supposed to when getting married. It's an arrangement I've been aware of since I was barely four years old, and I had held out hope that one day he and I might grow to fall in love with each other, but..."
"But?" Alfred questioned, eyes searching his friend's face.
Arthur raised his head and summoned all of his courage. God, Alfred had to know. Couldn't he see how much the Prince adored him? How much he wanted to be with him? How could the American even begin to think Arthur loved Francis when he was so clearly mad for him?
"Because I love you, Alfred." Arthur stated plainly, his eyes gazing steadily into the American's.
Alfred paused, seeming frozen. His calloused hand slipped from Arthur's shoulder and the plush lips Arthur longed to kiss fell open into an 'o' of surprise, simply gaping in awe at the Prince. Then, finally, "...What?"
"I love you, Alfred. I've loved you since the day I saw you. You're the only one I want—the only one I've ever wanted so much. I've never been in love before but I know I love you because my heart aches so much I lay awake at night thinking of you and I can't stand the thought that I'll be married before the year is out because I know you're far too respectable to ever try and be with me when I'm married. God, Alfred, I'm so mad for you I can't think when you're around, I'm absolutely hypnotized by you." Arthur rambled, pouring his emotions out before the American with the beginnings of tears in his eyes. The emotions he'd long concealed were spilling from him and he couldn't seem to restrain himself.
Alfred was still staring at him. "But I'm just your servant. F-Francis is your fiancee!" Alfred insisted, wide-eyed.
Arthur's throat constricted painfully, now well aware that Alfred didn't return his feelings in the slightest. "I know, I know. But I'm not in love with him. I've simply been arranged to marry him. It was never my choice, nor was it my choice to fall in love with you. I just did." He explained.
And then Alfred was taking Arthur by the arms and walking him backwards until the Prince's back hit the wall. Alfred pressed himself against him and they were kissing and Arthur was melting, his knees going weak and his body completely in Alfred's hands, hot and panting and kissing the man feverishly. Alfred had his hands on Arthur's hips and Arthur was pushing himself against Alfred, tugging at the silky golden hair he'd always longed to run his hands through.
Alfred broke away and Arthur whined. "Alfred—!" He whined, hooking his arms around the American's neck.
"This is wrong," Alfred said, carefully pulling Arthur's arms away from him. "I'm here to serve you and Duke Francis. I can't divide you two like this! You're set to take the throne soon with him at your side, I-I can't do this to you two!"
"Wait, please, Alfred! Please, I-I love you!" Arthur cried, taking the younger's arm when he tried to walk away.
Alfred's face fell. "I love you too," he whispered, incredible pain in his eyes. "You're my best friend, Arthur. I can't stand that you're about to marry him. I can't stand that someone else gets to have you. But I don't deserve you, and it's obvious nothing can be done about this."
Arthur shook his head rapidly. "N-No! No, something can be done! There has to be something! God, Alfred if I had known I'd have been fighting this engagement so long ago! Please, don't leave me when I've only just gotten a taste of you. Please." Arthur begged.
Tears were swimming in Alfred's eyes now. "I'm sorry, Arthur. I'm so sorry." He said.
With a quick parting kiss to the Brit's lips, he was gone.
Arthur was pacing across his bedroom with his hands clasped behind his back when a knock sounded at the door.
"Come in!" He called.
The door opened and Alfred appeared with a tray balanced on his palm. "Dinner, your highness." He mumbled, keeping his head down so as not to meet Arthur's eyes.
The Prince rushed forward, snatching the tray out of Alfred's hand. The American looked up, astonished, as the Prince half-tossed the tray down onto his writing desk and then took him by the arms, tugging him closer. "I talked to my parents," he said.
Alfred blinked rapidly. "What?"
"I spoke to my parents about you!" Arthur answered, hands trembling as they gripped the American.
Alfred floundered. "I-I don't understand."
"I was going absolutely mad thinking of you and I couldn't let myself sit by and do nothing as my future was decided for me. I love you, Alfred. I have to be with you. I'd rather live the rest of my life alone than be bound to anyone else. I'd fight forever just to have you kiss me again."
Alfred still seemed perplexed. "B-But what about Francis?" He asked, seeming concerned.
"Francis is madly in love with a member of the King's Court in Clubs! He's been trying to help you and I get together since the day he realized I loved you, and I've been fighting it and resigning myself to this horrid fate because the possibility of someone as angelic as you ever loving me back was so slim, and I didn't want to destroy everything my parents had worked so hard for. But you do love me, and therefore I cannot ever allow myself to marry Francis. I won't take my place as king without you by my side." Arthur said quickly, nervous once more.
Alfred was completely astounded, and made his feelings known. "B-But—Arthur, I'm your servant! Your parents would never allow it! What if you're tearing everything apart for nothing? What if they disown you or something? I couldn't give you the life you deserve. I can't do this to you," he argued.
Arthur cupped Alfred's face in his hands, staring up at him with adoration. "My love, while I admire your selflessness, there is no need for it. I told my parents I refused to take the throne if you could not have a place beside me, and they agreed. They couldn't sacrifice their only son. Besides, they love me; they want me to be happy. While I can't say it will be easy on you, I will defend you no matter what. You are the one I want, and nothing on Earth can change that."
"S-So you're not marrying Duke Francis?"
"Lord, no! I'll be marrying you! That is, if you still want me after our year is up."
"I'll always want you," Alfred murmured, leaning forward to rest his forehead against Arthur's. "I can't believe it."
"Neither can I," Arthur said, a blissful smile set upon his face.
"You're seriously all mine?" Alfred asked again, as if to be sure he wasn't simply imagining it.
Arthur's smile grew into an all-out grin. "Yes, I'm all yours. Completely wrapped around your finger."
"Damn. I get to date the Crown Prince of Spades. I'm a lucky guy, huh?"
Arthur smiled. "No; I am. I get to date the best gardener in all of Spades."
Alfred's head fell back, laughing. Arthur gazed upon the American's laughing face with adoration. That smile would make all well in his world.
