OBEY ME! LESSON 47 DETAILED SUMMARY + THEORIES

The lesson starts with Simeon and Levi laughing over how Lucifer forgot Diavolo in the game. Belphie complains about what a pain in the ass it was cause Lucifer made Belphie and some of the others go back into the game to get Diavolo and how Belphie had to start with the party at the beginning and so was unable to straight away teleport them to the castle and how as it was the second play through everything was harder and how diavolo had been so pissed he’d given them all the silent treatment, though Belphie did end up chuckling about how much that had freaked out Lucifer. Belphie says that as an apology Lucifer had finished all of Diavolo’s paper work and given him a free day off so Diavolo would be visiting. Levi says that he’ll be shutting himself in his room then and when MC asks about it Levi says that it’s not like Diavolo is coming to see him and it’s not like he cares about seeing Diavolo either. That truthfully he doesn’t really like Diavolo all that much cause he’s too serious and scary and cause they share no interests so Diavolo won’t have any idea what Levi talks about and how he’s scared he’ll say something dumb in front of him and piss Lucifer off. He makes MC promise him to him away from Diavolo. Belphie says that you shouldn’t spend time with a person you don’t like anyway. Simeon says that maybe you should take the opportunity to get to know a person better before you decide whether you like them. MC can agree with either Simeon or Belphie. Simeon then gets a call from Lucifer asking him to send the other 3 home cause Diavolo has gone missing.

At home Belphie says maybe Diavolo actually ran away from home to freak out Lucifer as revenge for the whole game thing. Satan and Beel greet them at the door. Satan to show them something funny and Beel to get one of Simeon’s sandwiches from Belphie. Satan takes them to the living room where Lucifer is pacing and screaming down the phone at Barbatos, yelling about not being able to find anything yet and demanding Barbatos calls him the second something turn up and if he can’t get to him then one of the others, before keeping the call and trying to figure out who else he can call and traumatise. Mammon is trying to get Lucifer to sit down and calm down and breath for fuck’s sake. Mammon gets yelled at for his efforts cause how the fuck can Lucifer calm down when Diavolo is missing. Except, yeah Diavolo might follow a stranger if they offer him candy, but y’know Diavolo’s an ancient incredibly powerful being I’m sure Lucifer can afford to calm down a little but whatever. Mammon tries to get MC to calm Lucifer down and honestly I love Mammon so much he’s such a good brother is2g. If Mc commands Lucifer to stay he um “EEKs”? and then blushes about the sound he just made (I’m not into romancing Lucifer at all but am I the only one who thinks he’s turned on by MC’s power over him despite his whole Sadistic Dom personality? It happened once or twice in the very beginning of S2 as well) According to Asmo while Diavolo had been going through the portal to the human world Barbatos, who has the flu, had sneezed and now they have no idea where in the human world Diavolo ended up. With the saddest expression Lucifer says, “Oh Diavolo, where have you gone!?” and I’m??? You want me to let MC come in between that!!? Lowkey wish OM! Did something like the Arcana where when MC picks a LI, a couple of the remaining LI get together. In every version where MC doesn’t pick Lucifer I desperately want him and Diavolo to get together and in the versions that MC picks either Lucifer or Diavolo I want there to be the option for the three of them to be in a poly relationship, pls. MC asks why they can’t just call Diavolo and Mammon says they’ve tried a bunch of times but being unable to. Levi says he knows someone who might be able to help

Levi takes them all to his room and Asmo is in tears as he tells levi it’s fine if his friend is imaginary cause asmo has a lot of imaginary friends – aka in his words first he imagines a beautiful man and then a beautiful woman and then well he imagines them all fucking and the fact that this otome game has 11 LIs and not a single one of them is straight is just…beautiful. I’m so happy wtf. Levi insits his friend exists and when MC says they believe him he says that even if he makes other friends that won’t displace MC’s role as his friend. Lucifer tells him to cut the BS. And it’s Alexa!? Levi introduces them to fucking Alexa and I’m screaming sir pls. It’s called Crowe here though and he completely dismisses MC’s “fnkfjkjdjkjkdvjkfd pls tell me you understand wtf that actually is” by saying how Crowe is always up to talk to Levi about any interest Levi brings up and the rest of the brothers are greatly impressed while MC goes through a crisis in the corner. Beel asks if there’s a little person inside it who talks and casts spells. Belphie while blushing asks if he can talk to crowe and I can’t fucking believe after 3 seasons MC’s gonna be replaced by fucking Alexa. Belphie asks crowe if it’s Levi’s friends and gets a “If you say so” which Levi gets really excited about and what it likes about levi and gets “how he’s able to turn everything into a negative thing” which levi takes as a compliment and this is really sad guys but then again I did once spend weeks trying to get Siri to agree to date me so… Belphie then asks Crowe to turn Lucifer into a rabbit, it obviously doesn’t work. Levi asks crowe where Lord diavolo is and MC becomes increasingly more annoyed at being the only sane person in the room. Crowe obviously doesn’t know how to answer that.

Asmo asks about the sensitive spots on Lucifer’s body (wtf asmo c’mon) and Satan asks for Lucifer’s weaknesses, Crowe answers with “I’m sorry. I can’t answer that” which the brothers take to mean that crowe knows but is refusing to say. Lucifer threatens him to keep quiet and Crowe says he understands, Belphie is upset that Lucifer threatened crowe and Levi says he made Crowe sad. All the while MC is losing their mind and insisting that Crowe’s just tech, while the brothers all ignore and talk over them. In what is probably a fit of jealous rage MC commands the brothers to all sit the fuck down and explains to them that crowe really is just an electronic device. Levi refuses to believe them and insists Crowe is his friend. This somehow leads to Levi giving crowe Diavolo’s phone number and Crowe tracking his phone and Lucifer remembers “oh yeah shit missing boyfriend”. They end up in a karaoke bar. The sweet relieved smile on Lucifer’s face when they find him is everything. Diavolo asks how he looks dressed as a human and MC compliments him. Mammon scolds Diavolo for worrying them and Asmo says he feels silly to have been so worried now, Lucifer tries to herd Diavolo back home but Diavolo says he can’t go cause a note on the door (in devildom script) says the room is cursed and only allows you to exit once you get a 100% score on the karaoke machine. Asmo’s pissed cause he has a spa/salon appointment, Levi has a gamin event, Beel has a buffet and Satan’s pissed cause he wanted to think up of more cat related hashtags he could try searching up and I’m- Lucifer says it’ll be easier to do the task than try to break the curse using magic and Diavolo agrees. Belphie says Diavolo looks way too happy. And look I’m just gonna say it now cause we ALL know it – Diavolo’s definitely behind this and using it as some way to hang out with the others.

Asmo’s happy about being able to sing karaoke and Levi complains but is also searching for anime songs so. Belphie and MC think the situation is strange cause doesn’t being in the human world mean this shit doesn’t happen to them anymore? Diavolo says the bar is owned by the three legged crow group (aka yatagarasu) – the Devildom’s largest holdings company and developers of the D.D.D.. Their mascot (Blackjak) is one of the chat stickers. Diavolo’s the majority shareholder of the company. They’ve been expanding to the human world as well, mostly because of demand from sorcerers and witches. They also developed crowe, with Levi having a prototype. Levi realising crowe’s not a real person starts crying (and wiping his face on Satan’s clothes) about crowe got him tickets for a band and how cause Levi thought crowe also liked them he made sure to buy two tickets for both him and crowe and I’m just this is so sad. MC takes the opportunity to sweep in and say y’know I’m your friend and hold Levi’s hand to which Levi blushes and thanks them. Crowe’s the one hosting the Karaoke and says if one person manages a 100 score everyone can leave and that to make things interesting he’ll be throwing in some surprises. Crowe: All right then, party on! Diavolo: PARTY ON!!!!! :D Lucifer: *SIGH*

Asmo goes first cause he’s the best singer they have, Levi complains about Asmo being good at everything when he has nothing and MC teases him about being the Avatar of Envy. Asmo nails the first part of the song but in the interlude as one of crowe’s surprises Asmo starts hearing his fans screaming to him (which no one else can hear) and starts the second part a bit late so his score is 88. As punishment for not scoring a 100 Crowe kills Asmo. Or rather he sends him to be tortured till someone is able to score 100 and set him free. Lucifer, as expected, is not pleased. Levi is excited about how this is suddenly a game of life or death. Lucifer is very much not pleased with that. Diavolo’s also extremely pleased. Lucifer’s going through it. Mammon (who was so busy picking out a song that he didn’t notice one of his brothers got kidnapped) volunteers to go next. Though he’s not as good as Asmo he’s apparently a very good singer and once sang lead vocals in a band at RAD. Mammon chooses a love Ballad “Even if I wind up as a demon, I’ll always love you” and oh baby… the brothers immediately realise Mammon fucked up when choosing the song, Diavolo goes ??? and MC ignores them all to do what they always do best and that’s to be Mammon’s #1 cheerleader (still can’t get over how much MC took charge and planned everything during Mammon’s bday event and had the brothers start giving him his little presents/notes a whole week before the actual date, when in every other bday event they just took a backseat role and let the others plan and fix everything up while they distracted the bday person. Whether you ship them together or not you gotta agree Mammon’s got a real special place in MC’s heart.) Anyway MC cheers Mammon on and Mammon blushes and stutters and then refuses to sing the song cause he realises he just picked to sing a love song in front of the person he’s in love with and tries to switch his song last minute. But cause he completely missed his cue to start he gets scored 0 and sent to hell. Satan says Mammon should be fine cause he’s used to that sort of thing. Diavolo: :D WOW :D THIS :D IS :D TERRIBLE :D ! :D Lucifer: Really, cause your face is saying something else entirely…

They all sit silently looking sad for a bit. Lucifer says Asmo & Mammon were their best chances of getting out with perfect scores, satan wonders (with a sad expression) where they are and what’s been done to them. Levi says let’s be real Asmo’s probably getting off rn. Lucifer says they need to focus on who’s here rn and getting out. Diavolo volunteers to go next and Lucifer shuts him down, Diavolo whines about it. MC asks if it’s cause Diavolo is the heir and they can’t risk losing him. Lucifer agrees. Diavolo reluctantly agrees but in exchange he wants Beel & Belphie to sing next together cause he once heard them at a RAD festival and they were amazing. Beel starts ordering everything on the menu. Lucifer says if they harmonize they might be able to get a perfect score. The twins sing perfectly together and Dia & Luci are beaming until Beel’s food order finally arrives by materializing on the table all Hogwarts style and well you can guess what happens then. Lucifer seems uncharacteristically rattled and upset by all this and I mean yeah he has to slowly watch his family disappear in front of his eyes while he’s unable to do anything about it – this is probably his worst nightmare. Plus if they don’t get out chances are he’s gonna end up stuck in a tiny room for the rest of his life so

They’re silent and sad for a bit till Satan says that Levi sings a lot of karaoke alone in his room. Levi says it’s not really karaoke and that he just puts on his headphones and sings along with the opening but also how does satan know that!? And satan says, well who doesn’t know that and Levi freaks out and turn to MC and they’re like lol yeah sorry and Levi freaks out more and wishes for death while Diavolo very happily says that Levi must be very talented and that he’d love to hear it someday and Levi starts floundering and deflecting. Satan says Levi shouldn’t be so modest cause usually when they go out to karaoke he doesn’t let any of them leave till he’s sung all his anime songs and Diavolo asks if Levi’s being shy cause he’s there. Levi blushes while Diavolo keeps complimenting him and encouraging him to sing and MC remembering their promise to Levi bails him out by basically saying he’d be too nervous around new people to get a perfect score and Diavolo lets it drop after Levi agrees with them. Satan’s need to leave and watch cat videos becomes too great and he volunteers and Lucifer happily encourages him. Diavolo gets closer to MC and says so did you do something to Lucifer again? Had one of your therapy sessions? And MC teases and says maybe. Diavolo happily says he knew o=it cause usually Lucifer isn’t willing to admit how highly he thinks of Satan and he actually calls MC a “family therapist” and I’m so glad someone finally said it, at this point MC should be getting paid is2g. Satan sings his favourite ballad and Diavolo compliments his singing while Lucifer just compliments Satan as a person in general for striving to do his best in everything and facing challenges with a cool head. Diavolo laughs about how much praise Lucifer’s giving out and Lucifer says he’s just stating the truth. Lucifer says satan should get a 100 until the tv starts showing cat videos, Lucifer yells at satan to not get distracted and satan is able to resist it until it starts showing a pile of sleepy kittens curled up together, who are starting to doze off. It’s too much for satan to stops the song to coo at them, he gets an 83 and is taken away. Levi says that even though it was fun at first he’s starting to get scared. Diavolo asks if Lucifer wants to go next.

Fine Line, Harry Styles

Golden

This song has such a summery feel. It’s a lovely opener, because it hits your ears like a comforting pat on the head and a ray of sun right into your soul. The backing vocals are just fun, and it is a perfect example of Harry’s weird (but amazing) habit of harmonising with himself. The song follows the idea that love makes things easier, the way it’s supposed to. Golden is one of many on this album which address Harry’s connection between his thoughts and problems, and his romantic relationships, however this is a more positive spin on the idea. He sings about the way that “love is the antidote”, when he sees himself as “hopeless, broken”.

Take me back to the light…

Watermelon Sugar

Let’s all get whatever feelings we have about the music video (if you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend!) with a quick AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, the review: the greatest hype song. It’s fun to dance to, it’s fun to play, it’s a beach song and a party song and a concert song and a banger. So many references to fruit. This one follows the summery theme set by Golden, along with some…. dubious comments that lead your imagination to exactly where you should always have it: Harry Styles surrounded by gorgeous girls, and some very inappropriate fruit consumption.

I don’t know if I could ever go without…

Adore You

I adore (hehe) the drums on this one. The song becomes so funky, so complex sounding, when in reality there are very few musical components. While there are, yet again, many fruit references, and an odd at best music video of Harry’s love for a fish (?), this does not subtract from another summer banger. It should be noted, when Fine Line came out, Australia was genuinely in summer, so it was right on time (though of course, I was on the other side of the world and missed the release because of it). Adore You has the vibes of a love song unlike many you hear in mainstream medias. It’s the crushing aspect of love, the ‘I would do anything for you’s, the true admiration and adoration of this incredible person, and that is something I for damn sure love hearing about.

Lights Up

I have SO MUCH to say about this song, so I’ll start with a little story. Around this time last year, younger me was eagerly trying to impress some girls in her class/sort of friendship group because she thought they were super neat, and as every good Muso knows, the best way to a person’s heart is their music. So, young me made the dangerous trek into waters she hadn’t waded in for five years; she listened to One Direction again. Instantly in my efforts to make up for lost time, I stumbled into the object of these girls’ affection, the Lights Up video. I was in awe. Not only was Harry Styles WAY more attractive than I remembered (and probably even more talented), there he was, half-naked and sweating, touched by men and women alike, crooning about a sense of loss and self-exploration, and suddenly my bisexual ass was hook, line and sinker. The lyrics themselves can be connected back to a life in the spotlight (“lights up and they know who you are, do you know who you are?”) but to be totally honest, this is the song of every teenage breakdown about who they are and who they want to be. The effects on the vocals make it sound like a dream, and it is certainly one I’m not keen to wake up from. The contrast of electric drums and almost synthesised chords, paired with the steady strumming of an acoustic guitar? Genius.

I’m not ever going back…

Cherry

Cherry is so soft wtf. Above all else, I adore guitar riffs that actually reflect the emotions of the song, and idk what emotion it’s called but I’m feeling all of it. I do not have the kind of ex that you’re still in love with, but this song made me feel like I not only had one, but created the Austen-ian story in my mind of how I lost them and how much I missed this imaginary ex. The backing vocals create this atmosphere that, when listened to on headphones, swallows you whole and makes your soul a little lighter.

The voicemail at the end is still a pisstake though.

Falling

Ah, the bedrock of many a 2am cry sessions. I truly believe there is not a single point in this album where Harry is purer than this song. Falling gives the other side of his connections between love and pain; the raw, tear-jerking truth that sometimes, there’s just nothing more to say. Paired with the incredible cinematography of what is, to date, one of my favourite music videos, he has managed to wrap up ever feeling of grief, of loss, of anxiety, of sadness, of hopeless abandon, and tie it into a beautiful piano melody. The first time I heard this song, much like many people can probably claim, I bawled like a baby. This feeling of isolation, the tragic separation of friends and lovers who never meant to separate, or the crushing knowledge that it was your fault, your words, that did this…that hits home for so many people, and it is so refreshing to see someone like Harry, someone so adored from his career with One Direction, to step into his solo light and remind people that life isn’t just a love song and that that’s okay. I don’t know about you, but I definitely needed to hear it.

What if I’m someone I don’t want around?

To Be So Lonely

TBSL sits in parallel to the two songs previous; firstly, the exclamation of “don’t call me baby again”, after basically pleading “don’t you call him baby, don’t you call him what you used to call me”, and secondly, the clear rejection of guilt. Let’s assume that the three songs are all following the same story, the same love, and the same heartbreak. With that in mind, we can look into them for the three stages of a painful separation; jealousy, pain, and anger. Even the guitar riff, similar to Cherry in some respects, holds a fierier anger behind it. If the other two songs were how lost he felt, this is the song where he finds himself again, and with it, finds an anger he doesn’t know how to control. Perhaps he doesn’t want to believe that it is his fault, or perhaps he is just so done with playing nice and going home lonely. Either way, the crescendo of violins as they rise and fall, ebb and flow like his emotions, is a stunning display of a true grasp on the ways that music can affect and transform a listener.

She

The vibe of this one seems so abstract, it’s like we’re listening underwater. All in all, the song seems unlike any other on the album, but still very much in Harry’s style? See, with this song you can see how I’m only good at writing about the Arctic Monkeys. The instrumental at the end sounds like a fever dream or a drug trip from a movie.

Sunflower, Vol. 6

WHY IS IT VOLUME SIX????? THIS HAS CONFUSED ME FOR SO LONG?????? So much of this song is confusing me and I have no particular feelings about it so I’m just gonna leave it at this.

Canyon Moon

This song makes me so inexplicably happy. It’s a roadtrip through the coast with your mates, sun beating down on your backs as someone in the back strums a classic on guitar. It’s a campfire on the beach. It’s home. I put this song on every time I get off the train to the city in the summertime, because it always makes the world seem a little brighter. This is, hands down, one of my favourites of the album, just because it never fails to cheer me up.

Staring at the ceiling, two weeks and I’ll be home

Treat People With Kindness

God, I hate this song. The gospel-y vibe on its’ own? Cool. Harry’s part on its’ own? It’s a vibe. Together? The absolute worst listening experience of the album, perhaps Harry’s entire discography. Harry has been preaching TPWK for so long, and the final product is just…sad. The fact that this song is after Canyon Moon is a disgrace to music. The words themselves are…sub-par, maybe closer to okay, and separately a lot of the instrumental elements are quite cool, but combined, the song just screams of that person who, when you’re having an anxiety attack, just tells you to breathe and that it will get better. This song just gives me a headache.

I just keep on dancing…

Fine Line

The pièce de résistance, the most earth-shattering, eye-watering finale. When I first started writing this (it’s taken me maybe a month to finish because I just kept forgetting about it), this was just a good song to me, but since, I had an opportunity to see it for everything it was. As I lay on the floor, stage lights glowing softly above me, holding hands with my best friends, we cried to this song. It became so much more to me than just a 6-minute love song, albeit a good one. It became about friendship. There I lay, with the same girls who had brought me to Harry, the same girls I had been trying to impress, and I realised I could find us in the lyrics. In lines like “you’ve got my devotion/but man, I can hate you sometimes”, and “I don’t want to fight you/and I don’t want to sleep in the dirt”, Harry, to me, sang about life. It’s the kind of song you listen to in the rain, or somewhere vulnerable. The song itself is vulnerable. Never would I have said before this that a horn section and orchestral cymbals are important in a ballad, but now I refuse to listen to any without them.

Test of my patience, there’s some things we’ll never know…

Honestly…

… Okay.

I am… Not in a good mood.

I’ve said before, I have very little interest in Yua as a character (her being a Rider who is female and the tertiary are very separate from how I actually feel about her character in the narrative—despite not much caring for her, if I were to ever rewrite Zero-One, I wouldn’t actually change the character (though I’d have her actually develop more relationships), bc my disinterest in her isn’t bc she’s a ‘bad character’ it’s just that she’s not a character that interests me). Her place as 4.5 on my character list is largely bc I have no real personal complaints about her.

But can I just say. Wtf.

Look, they could have made that make sense? If they’d. You know. Actually. Had her and Jin. Interact properly? And develop? THEY’VE HARDLY SPOKEN.

Literally, she had, like, a small handful of scenes w/ Izu at the start of the show, and those were MILES more development of a relationship than anything we’ve had between her and Jin. It’s the same thing as w/ Aruto trusting Jin w/ Fuwa—I’m left wondering if I’ve been watching a different show, whether I missed an episode. A scene.

His father gets painfully possessed by a homicidal satellite right in front of him, and while him being in shock is one thing, snapping out of it to be more concerned about some human he’s spoken to all of… Three times? What?

I never had any sense of them having any sort of connection. I was all for Yua being the mom of the group (this imaginary family needs a mom), but she never interacted enough w/ Jin for me to make anything more than half hearted jokes. This makes no sense???

Also for that matter, bc I know I sound really negative on her, way to sideline Yua, for chrissakes. They were doing so decently, too. Like, do not get me wrong, this isn’t me saying I would never want her to have a relationship w/ mbjr. Like I said, I was super ready for her to be the terse, serious mom of this wild, messed up, giant robo-human family (we have two dads, and uncle, and one Naki, we need a mom). But they never allowed her to really develop any relationship outside of Fuwa. And Fuwa and Yua’s relationship was important, yes, but… They kinda poked at her and Aruto and her and Izu at the beginning, but that quickly got sidelined. She gets a lot of really powerful, meaningful development w/ Fuwa (and I adore Fuwa, he’s one of my faves), and then I was curious/apprehensive to see what they’d do w/ her and mbjr, but… There was nothing? Just a few quick scenes that were either jokes or that particular brand of Takahashi that does not come across as emotional development to me. This alleged rapport between her and Jin just… Comes out of nowhere. I saw not even the slightest hint of it. If they wanted me to find this believable, they should have like… Properly interacted??? There should have been dramatic moments of them secretly meeting up, like how Yua used to report to Gai?

Like. Let’s compare and contrast those two things. Yua’s status as a spy and connection to Gai (well, we didn’t know his name, then), was hinted at early and regularly. Even if they were short scenes, we got shady shots of her ‘reporting in,’ revealing some secret info. It was carefully lampshaded and built up. When the reveal happened, it felt real, and interesting.

This was not built up. Everything about this just feels like Takahashi saying ‘fucking actually developing relationships.’

Jin, who still has a very young, naive mentality, gets over seeing his father rather horrifically possessed by a homicidal satellite to start yelling encouragement at Yua, who he barely knows. In the entire scene post his initial ‘Horobi’ before he runs out there, there’s absolutely no sign of concern or fear for his father. Instead he’s transforming side by side w/ Yua like they’re best buds, not even hesitating to attack, and he seems more concerned w/ protecting her (I call crap on the fact that she had to ~get hurt~ and ~need protection~ too—also nice to see my dread predictions still come true, Yua ends up in the bloody hospital. At leats they didn’t make him ‘moon around her bed’ for too long, though I haven’t gotten there yet) then the fact that his father has just been painfully possessed by a homicidal satellite. Esp one that has made it clear she doesn’t care for Horobi’s life one jot.

Seriously. W. T. F.

Jin had more relationship development w/ Aruto than w/ Yua.

And coming from me, that’s saying something about how I feel about this.

Okay long post that may or may not be shorter than expected but here we go. (I just wrote everything and it's pretty long, I think)

This will mostly be about things that happened in the past few weeks that made me emotional? Kinda? Stuff I want to talk about aka screaming it into the void that tumblr is. (Apparently it's mostly about football and my exams)

I'll put it under a keep reading thing, hopefully it works.

Okay where do I start?

I feel like I spend more time being emotional about football than worrying about my finals. Magdeburg was involved most of the time but also football that shares one braincell and the DFB hasn't seen it in a long time.

But let's start at the beginning.

On the 8th of May 46 years ago Magdeburg won the Cup Winners' Cup. Since it looked like the season will be cancelled and Magdeburg could go into a financial crisis, the fans organised a fundraising event in which they sold tickets for an imaginary trip to Rotterdam to win the cup a second time. This started around the 5th of April and went on for a month.

Obviously I got a ticket too and spend a whole week basically camping in front of my mailbox waiting for it. It took five days and I cried when it came.

It's beautiful, I love it a lot, one of my favourite players singed it, I'm in love.

They even managed to show the game in a re-live so that's the story how I screamed and cried after my English exam because we won the cup (again).

And well then this video made me cry again and I feel like I spend more time crying over Magdeburg than actually studying for the exams but it's time well spend I guess.

(And no we didn't actually went to Rotterdam it was all imagination but it was great anyway)

During all of this Magdeburg desperately tried to get Milan's attention (for a possible rematch in four years for the 50th anniversary) by tweeting at them in badly translated Italian. Honestly that club is as dumb as I am and I love them a lot.

Apart from that football was all about pain the past weeks, starting with the fact that I can't scream my emotions out during football games? Like idk if it's a good coping mechanism or not but screaming for 90 minutes straight always helped me a lot.

Now I'm really mad that the DFB decided to start Bundesliga behind closed doors because first of all the Bundesliga is nothing without it's fans. Second, ending the season early would be the better option but well I told myself to calm so I will do calm.

BUT THEN they won't stop arguing about the 3. Liga and honestly I'm done with this shit. At least Magdeburg is the club with the braincells and said they want to end the season (I guess I chose the right club to stan).

The thing is Magdeburg isn't legally allowed to train or even play here in Saxony Anhalt but well apparently the DFB doesn't care and is now pressuring the politics into either allowing them to play or they will take away Magdeburg's (and Halle's) license and honestly that is so fucked up I can't believe it's actually happening.

Football, what a fun sport to stan :)

Enough about football tho, lets get into the important stuff. Or well the reason I actually took a break from tumblr.

My exams went surprisingly well despite the fact that I had to stop studying at some point because it just stressed me out.

It all started off with my Chemistry exam which was pretty easy. Besides my business administration exam it was the one that stressed me out a lot because I almost failed the mock exam and I just had a bad feeling overall.

But then I saw the tasks and everything was so easy?? Of course I started stressing again because I was finished with still an hour to go but then my classmate told me that she saw the teacher grading it and I had a lot of points already and?? I was so relieved?? Honestly I could've cried.

My English exam was the next one, two days after Chemistry.

There are two main parts in this one. The first one is the listening comprehension (nightmare of every German student) the second one is the written part.

In my school we have one room that has a very good acoustic in which the listening part wouldn't be a problem but due to Corona they talked about closing it because it might be unfair when it couldn't be used for everyone that wrote the more difficult exam (I not in the mood to explain the whole system right now but if you want to know more about it dm me).

Thursday I wrote my English teacher if she knows how it's planned right now and she confirmed that they will be using this room and that I will be in this room for the listening part. That was the first time I actually cried because of my exams.

Now English wasn't particularly bad but I have a weird feeling about it. We will see once I'll get the results.

My German exam was the next one and just like with the English exam I have a weird feeling but we'll have to see.

I got good results in both of my mocks so hopefully it will be fine.

The last one was my business administration exam and oh boy. I was stressing so much, I couldn't look at my notes without having a breakdown and it was bad, really bad.

I was praying for marketing to be a big part but of course my prayers weren't heard and there wasn't a single sign of it at all.

BUT luckily the main part of the exam was easy. Well not too easy but it was a topic where I didn't think they would make it the main part but they did. It was about loans.

Well we better don't talk about the rest of it but if my calculations are right I should get the required points.

I really don't want to get hopes up but I'm pretty sure I made it.

There is one exam left still but it will be some time around June and hopefully pretty easy so I'm not stressing too much right now.

Now that I finished the hardest part I hate how everyone was stressing me even more. People basically tell you that if you don't start studying months and months in advance you won't make it but?? No, it's not that.

I can't speak for other exams of course because well maybe we had a Corona bonus or whatever but I don't think so.

It really seems to be easy (at least for all the nightmare stories I always heard).

Also wtf F1? I walk out of my German exam and see that Vettel left Ferrari. Got my crying the whole day because well I don't mind him leaving Ferrari as much as I mind should he retire. I really don't want that.

And then I walk out of the business exam and they announce Carlos to Ferrari and Dan to McLaren. As if I wasn't emotional enough, F1 really decided to play with my feelings here huh.

But what else happened except for football and exams?

Well I walked my dog every day and saw all kind of animals during so. I don't know if it was because there were less people outside or just because we have a lot of fields and forests in general but it was pretty cool.

We saw rabbits, foxes, deers and even a snake (I only saw a wild snake once in my life so that's pretty cool)

Also managed to took a (bad) picture of a deer, isn't he cute?

Also a week ago my mom convinced me to buy a bunch of guppies for our tank and ever since we got them my betta got herself a goth girlfriend and I'm??? So soft??? For my gay fish??

They're very shy tho and I didn't manage to get a good picture of them yet but it's really cute. They're always hanging around each other.

Last week I was also able to go to the stable again since Jody isn't actually my horse and they only allowed owners on the property to stop the people from taking riding lessons.

This picture is from today, I wanted to take pictures in this field ever since I missed it last year and most of the flowers stopped blooming back then.

But I was able to go back and can go there again now that I have some free time and I'm just so happy.

Unfortunately now they aren't in full bloom either because we missed it again (thanks Corona 🙃) but the picture is nice enough so I don't mind too much.

By now I can't really think of anything else that happened.

As I said I'm now working on my Fanfiction. In theory I wanted it to be done by the end of May but I don't think I will make it but I'm not stressing myself with it either. Every chapter is more or less plotted so I hope writing will go by a little easier.

I don't know how many people actually read it until this point but if you did, thanks 💙

I'm just happy that I got all of it of my chest now since I wanted to talk about all this but I was getting tired to annoy my mom with it.

Weird, I like Sylvain BECAUSE he’s a douche lol. Like, he’s just a character who’s entertaining in his doucheyness, charismatic assholery and then the moments of sweetness for the few people he loves (Felix for example). Liking an asshole character doesn’t mean we condone them? I think the woobifyong depends on the fic. I’ve read fic from Sylvain’s pov where he woobifies himself in regards to women and that is 100% in character imo cus he thinks women are out to get him even tho that ain’t true.

Like, felix is a misogynistic prick too yet people almost never criticize that side of him cus oh, it’s totally ok to like characters with assholish flaws but felix gets a pass and is even given new imaginary flaws by the fandom (like him being physically violent to his loved ones? wtf lol). If you are talking about the anon I think you are, I really don’t think the anon meant it like that. They were mostly going from the reputation of Sylvix shippers in the fandom and surprised I didn’t conform to it. They never said it can’t be shipped, just that the way they’ve seen/heard of it being shipped was off-putting to them and genuinely curious why I do still ship it.

I definitely agree that you can still like a character if they are a douche. Heck, Sylvain’s douchiness is what initially and the way it was aknowledged was what first made me enjoy the character. The game waffling on actually giving him an arc is what personally puts me off about him, but that’s neither here nor there. I definitely think you can still enjoy the character as is, without condoning anything.

Now, the issue with the fics I’ve read... There’s definitely fics that stick to him woobifying himself in his head, like you said.. and then there’s fic that turn the girls he sleeps with into either forgettable, vapid props or shrieking harpies out for his money and/or blood. I’ve yet to see a fic really address the damage he does or treat any of these girls as actual people that are hurt.

Maybe this is just a thing with Sylvix fic, I couldn’t tell you. There’s definitely no need to have every fic explore that issue or call him out. That would be very limiting. But you can’t ignore that a lot of Sylvix/Sylvain fans fall all over themselves to say that Sylvain is an asshole and they know/love it, but we never see the fan content reflect that.

If fans say they like Sylvain being an asshole, but narratives either never explore this part of him or exclusively focus on Sylvain’s pain and hurt, while ignoring the girls at best... Idk it just makes it hard to believe.

No one is demanding everyone write at least one feminist-approved Sylvain/Sylvix fic to count as a “good” fan. Just... yeah the rest of the fandom can see how this “asshole” issue is engaged with, or rather.. how it’s not.

If you like a character for being an asshole, maybe you should... let them be an asshole sometimes.

Now I don’t really want to engage too much with the bit about Felix, cause it’s very deflecting from what we are actually talking about. All I will say is, the reason Felix’s misogyny gets talked about less is because it comes up in like.. two supports, so 1) it can be easy to miss 2) it doesn’t colour every interaction with a woman the way Sylvain’s does. That’s all. I am not going further down this line of argument, so don’t bother.

mad props to Gabi for being such a badass that she was able to dig Colt’s rifle out from under his burnt body in order to fire on Eren. Being able to think so clearly and take action even under the weight of her horror and grief was incredible.

Originally Falco was the only non-Paradis character I liked. Now we can all Colt to that list. Shame he had to die in order for me to feel this way.

Falco was the only one who didn't do a whole lot this chapter but a large majority of them got a moment to be recognized as the type of person they are.

Anyways Colt’s death although it wasn’t necessary was very moving for me, which is the first time anyone from Marley except Falco has provoked any feelings in me to be honest.

Colt is getting unreasonable amount of crap for choosing to stay by Falco's side. I don't blame Colt at all, for seeing no immediate master plan to keep going. His instincts went right to big brother mode, to a self-sacrificing degree. And god help you if you can't appreciate that kind of beauty without feeling the need to say how much better you would have done yourself.

I was shocked to see Colt die so soon, but at the same time, I can understand why he made the sacrifice here, and it was an emotional highpoint for me in this chapter. It's going to be sad seeing Falco's reaction when he learns what has become of his brother, but I think he will understand just how much Colt cared about him

Colt's decision to stay with Falco as the later was turning into a Pure Titan was unreasonable considering the heat of the transformation nearby would kill him, but he must've thought this was the only option left because he thought no one else would save Falco (he especially would never expect Porco to sacrifice himself for Falco) and thus couldn't bear to see his beloved brother be cursed into a Pure Titan, so he just wanted to be with Falco in what he thought would be the latter's true final moments as a human.

PORCO'S DECISION TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF WAS COMPOSED OF MANY FACTORS, BUT WHICH ONE DO YOU THINK STOOD OUT THE MOST? 1,915 Responses

Hearing Colt and Zeke’s back and forth about the lengths they’re willing to go to in order to ensure their little brother’s safety is what 44.6% of the fandom believes most motivated Porco to sacrifice himself to Falco. 25.7% felt that he was pushed the most by his unwillingness to meaninglessly die and have his titan power go to waste. For the remainder of the fandom, just a few more believe that his intent was to protect Reiner rather than saving Falco.

Porco only wanted to feel validated. He died because he was in a situation where he knew he wouldn’t survive, and once he knew the truth and felt validated, he was ready to let go and die. This is why in his final line he says that in the end, he was better than Reiner. Knowing the truth was enough for him to finally stop trying to be the best, to stop trying to show his worth, and to finally accept the fact that he couldn’t keep fighting in this battle.

If we're being honest, I was surprised to see Porco die. I wasn't expecting any of that. At least he can finally be at peace with his brother tho.

Porco’s sacrifice was one of the most noble we’ve seen so far in the series and showed a lot of character development. He’ll be sorely missed!

PORCO'S FIRST AND LAST LINES IN THE STORY WERE AIMED AT REINER. DO YOU THINK THEIR RELATIONSHIP CHANGED OVER THE TIME WE'VE WITNESSED IT? 1,918 Responses

The results were nearly split, with 34.8% of respondents feeling that Reiner and Porco’s relationship was starting to improve after Liberio, with the potential to become even better, while 34.1% felt that Porco let go of every negative feeling he had for Reiner when he realized the truth of Marcel’s sacrifice. 16.6% feel there wasn’t enough screen time to form an opinion, and 14.5% believe there was no change in dynamic by the end.

DO YOU AGREE WITH THE THEORIES THAT EREN HAS ALREADY ACTIVATED THE COORDINATE POWER? 1,922 Responses

While close to half the fandom believe that Coordinate power is still dormant in Eren, more than a third believe that there was enough strangeness this month to indicate that Eren has either touched Zeke already or had some other means of accessing the Coordinate power.

The entire chapter felt... off. Pixis teleporting from outside to inside drinking, Eren’s brotherhood of traveling pants, the whole Magath and Pieck thing, it just... seems weird.

Eren couldn't be using the coordinate rn simple because he needs royal blood...

I can go either way on the inconstancies, all of them seem like reasonable mistakes for a rushed chapter. But that also makes them just subtle enough to actually be clues that paths shit is happening

I think that the battle shown is a false battle created by the founding titans power and the real battle will be shown to an earlier Eren through a memory

I highly, HIGHLY doubt Eren pulled off some War Hammer Titan shenanigans or activated the Founding Titan's power beforehand to make it out of Gabi's shot. The stuff doesn't add up for these two.

WHAT WAS THE MOST GLARING SEEMING INCONSISTENCY? 1,912 Responses

“All of the above” was the favorite response to the question of inconsistencies in this chapter. Of those who made a choice, “Eren’s clothes magically reappearing” was the top pick (27.2%) followed by Pieck’s quick transformation after creating a skeletonized titan form last chapter (13.9%). While we listed several of the inconsistencies we’d noticed, the write-ins contained even more

All the above plus Porco changing out of a garrison uniform to a SC uniform

Bert's crater, and the waterway. But I want to say Eren's clothes because that has been inconsistent for 2 or 3 chapters now iirc, memory manipulation incoming.

Commander Pixis was out and suddenly was inside with other people who drank the spinal fluid

Eren getting hit by the Titan rifle by Magath and then suddenly being okay just after that.

Eren magically getting his shoes back after they got bit off by the jaws

Gabi being in the exact right place at the exact right time. If Eren had to "die" that couldn't have been set up better?

It might be me, but Gabi with the titan rifle. More so "how" she got it, as we can infer it was Colt's. The problem being that Colt had it on his back even after Falco's transformation. Being underneath a burning body (RIP Colt) and being in operable condition, it just seems off to me.

Mikasa magically changed positions at one point way too fast to be possible

No one seems to have mentioned that Gabi's hair is down when she shot Eren

Pixis teleporting from riding a horse to chilling with a drink

Reiner's sudden in-Titan beard is what got me

The three false connections between Eren's clothes (we see once he has a white shirt in his titan, once he is naked and once he had in fact his usual "sweatshirt") I mean, come on, decide on what the boy's wearing Yams.

The Gabi riding a horse wasn't really a "inconsistency" because she spent a month in those Braus stables so of course she'll learn how to ride one in a month.

I think HE thinks he cares, but he’s more attached to the idea of himself as a person who cares and is acting out of compassion for the greater good of eldians and the world, and the truth is he doesn’t have any actual attachment and fondness for them as individuals. The trauma of betraying his parents and eating Xaver rendered him basically incapable of forming true bonds of affection.

Colt developed a considerable bond with the person who was supposed to give him his Titan power in the near future, he had the impression Zeke was not the kind of person to put a child in dire situations, so he tried to remind him of that. He never thought Zeke would do the impossible and turn his brother into a Pure Titan despite telling him the situation. The shock on Colt's face when Zeke apologizes for what he is about to do really shows that.

Maybe Zeke will have a change of heart, maybe he will sulk into a state of depression and failure. I really hope someone convinces Zeke that suffering will always permeate in this world and the only thing he can do is hope for a better ending than how this chapter ended.

I never would have thought we would see Falco eating Porco and obtaining the Jaw titan or seeing Eren's head just fuckin fly through the air this chapter was insane.

As much as I dislike Floch, I def do want to see what his reaction will be to Eren’s “death,” even more than I want to see Jean’s and Connie’s tbh.

What I want to know is why do all the people with more use to the story survive when guys like Niccolo who's usefulness to the story ended when the heat from Sasha's death get to stick around?

I don't think Gabi is a bad character, but to me it almost feels like she is just getting in the way of the story progressing. I do however think her actions are understandable for her character, but from a reader's perspective it annoys me.

I was astonished at what a weight it lifted off my chest and how much more forgiving I could be after seeing Eren “I’m too good to tell anyone my plan, I work alone and I’ve always hated you” Jaeger fail so hard that Zeke screamed, Connie, Jean, Armin, and Mikasa all had to save Eren, and he was “killed” by a twelve-year-old.

I actually didn't hate Gabi at first despite killing Sasha. But now whatever development she had is gone and since she is now established as a murderer, I am now aboard the "I Hate Gabi" train.

God, I really hope the next chapter is good because it's at a really pivotal point that could make or break this last arc.

I am very willing to make allowances for the inconsistencies so the chapter itself was very good in my opinion. The story progressed well, awesome action sequences, expectations subverted, suffering continued; therefore, good chapter.

I don't think Eren will return physically, but his presence will remain somehow through PATHS. The title of this manga is Shingeki no Kyojin, not Eren, so the story can resolve itself with the Attack Titan being inherited and Eren's memories explored.

It's a little rushed, but I like the idea and hope Isayama can pull these loose strands together to create an impactful finale.

I don't understand all this Gabi hate. Eren has always been a threat to her eyes : in Liberio's Festival when he brought by his actions death to her home and friends, in the room where he was odious to Armin and Mikasa and threatening them with a wound on his hand, when Pieck -who explained to her the world isn't black and white- designed him as the enemy and here, and here right before her child eyes, because of his and Zeke's plan, Gabi is there when Falco transforms into a titan, killing Colt in the process. It's understandable she was angry and reacted like that.

WOW, this chapter was absolutely nerve-wracking! This one may just be the biggest emotional roller coaster ride yet with all those major character deaths and that jaw-dropping cliffhanger!

so, I finally saw Film Theory’s How Pennywise beat Pennywise video and I have some thoughts

I know that the fandom got mad because ‘’saying Eddie was Richie’s true token is reducing him to an object and by saying that you essentially dismiss Eddie's own character arch in behalf of Richie’s’’ and I get that doing that to Eddie is disrespectful because Eddie is his own character not a plot device to Richie’s arc. I agree. I also was like having a breakdown and in ‘’nope that’s bullshit’’ mood.

But now that I have finally seen the video, I get why the theory and I agree that it's like a credible explanation for why the ritual didn’t work at first (also I haven’t read the book so I know literally nothing more than the plot of the two movies so I’m sorry if I’m missing something important from the novel but also we are talking about the movies so I don’t see the problem if I miss something from the book) but I think he’s wrong and didn’t thought of his theory very much

so this dude starts saying that the tokens the losers collected weren’t enough to complete the ritual, and once he explains why, I’m like ‘’yeah ok I agree’’ because yes, when they went for the tokens they hadn’t yet overcome their fears, that happens when Mike confesses he lied (I think it has more to do with the things they cut about his parents and stuff but ok let’s ignore how they didn’t do justice to Mikes character), Bill accepting he isn’t guilty of Georgie’s death, Bev and Ben’s sequence and Eddie’s moment of bravery. But at this point Richie hadn’t overcome his fear (being bullied for being gay, the fear that if people knew he was gay he’d end up missing or dead). Ok all good until there

But he also says that one of them didn’t even bring the right token to the fight (Richie), and when he's explaining the theory saying that besides the tokens it was necessary for the losers to overcome their fears, then wtf why is he saying Eddie was Richie’s true token if this wasn’t about the tokens anymore, it was about overcoming fears, getting over their traumas… so I do not agree that Eddie’s was Richie’s true token because if that was true then why Ben didn’t lose Bev or vice versa. This dude says ‘’The death of Eddie is surprisingly also the destruction of the last token’’ bitch? You contradicting your own theory

he also says that if we doubt Eddie is the last token to be sacrificed then there’s a thing that proves the theory right: when Richie insults Pennywise calling him a sloppy bitch Pennywise doesn’t seem affected by that, and he asks "what happens between that scene and the other scene where the losers also insult that Clown’s ass to death? Eddie’s death"

Nope, in that moment both Eddie and Richie hadn’t overcome their fears, you said it yourself, Eddie overcomes his fear of imaginary deceases when he decides the real fear isn’t germs but loved ones being in danger and he saves Richie from the deadlights because he’s braver than he thinks. So, the difference between Pennywise being insulted one time and the other is that Richie realizes how much he loves Eddie and that he for the first time sees that you should show how you feel without fear, shame or regret

I think that Eddie’s fear has more to do with his mom mental abuse towards him making him fear of AIDS plus Derry’s homophobic folks, so he’s repressing his homosexuality blabla

but sticking to this dude theory, I think that ‘’Eddie is Richie’s true token’’ is not accurate, it has to do more with the other part of his theory, overcoming traumas or whatever Richie realizing it’s ok to be gay and express your feelings before it’s (it was) too late.

but also he didn’t even mention Stan wtf.

UNPOPULAR OPINION

I don’t talk about sims 4 enough and I have yet to meet someone who has the same opinions as me so I’m gonna rank the packs and I wanna hear y’all’s opinions here we go...

First of all, ranking the games:

1. Sims 2 (I’m biased bc it was my first game and I just LOVE the townie plot lines and all the little Easter eggs. Big fan)

2. Sims 4 (i know a lot of people don’t like it bc it missed a lot of things in the base game but honestly improved create a sim, build mode, and art style makes this better than sims 3)

3. Sims 3 (i honestly hate the sims 3. I love the plot going on in it and I think it did that the best of the other 3 but the art style makes me shiver and it was always so dark and there were just so many features of this game that made it unplayable on pc. If the playability and art style was improved I’d probably really like it)

4. Sims (never played it so I can’t really rank it)

EXPANSION PACKS

1. City Living (I’ve heard it got a lot of hate but idk why??? I think it’s so creative and I know it’s annoying that apts are only in San Myshuno but I see that being fixed in a future update and it’s honestly just a great pack, so much content was added and it completely changed the game)

2. Seasons (BIG FAN. Honestly this should be #1 because I just love seasons so much but I have two qualms: 1. Plant sims????? 2. Seasons should be in the base game and I will not let that go)

3. Get famous (Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of this pack but I really like the acting career and the fame element added to the game. The world almost ruins it but I can’t really put it any lower just because the actual gameplay is pretty interesting- but the world sucks, and it’s not very fun to replay after you’ve done it)

4. Get together (i really like get together, but it’s this low because the concept of a expansion pack centered around clubs is just a little weird. Could’ve been a game pack, or not in the game at all tbh. I really like photography though and the world is unbeatable by other packs tbh- I really like windenburg. Also the townies are pretty interesting.)

5. Get to work (I love this because visiting work is something I wanted so badly when I played sims 2, and I love being able to own my own shops. It’s actually still kind of fun to replay but it’s hard to have a family and follow the plot lines of other members in the family while also using the careers offered in this pack, and I’m not a huge fan of that. Also it didn’t come with a world so I can’t really rank it any higher.)

6. Cats and dogs (ok ok ok honestly don’t even get me started I hate this pack. I hate this pack so much. I’m not even biased against it bc pets have always been my favorite element of the sims- hence why my email is [email protected] anyways, this pack had virtually no objects for pets compared to sims 2 and 3, and the activities you can do with your pets are so limited it’s barely worth playing. I think the create a pet is kind of cool but honestly I still prefer the create a pet in sims 3. The town isn’t horrible- like in get famous- but it’s not great either. this pack had so much potential and it was wasted and I’m still pressed about it.)

GAME PACKS (disclaimer: I haven’t played jungle adventure, spa day or outdoor retreat so I can’t totally speak for them but I’m basing this on content I’ve seen)

1. Parenthood (do I even need to provide reasoning? It’s so good. I only wish they also added private schools and imaginary friends but I love the domestic aspect of this pack)

(Excited for strangerville to eventually go here :-) even if it will never beat parenthood)

2. Vampires (IK CONTROVERSIAL, but I always have liked supernatural creatures and I’m just glad they put this in it’s own pack and not in a night life pack or something... I like the system they have in place and think it’s a vast improvement on vampires from other packs. I just wish there were more supernatural creatures in sims 4)

3. Jungle adventure (I haven’t played this but I’ve watched my friends and I really like the concept- it reminds me of sims 2 bon voyage a bit and I really liked that pack so I really like the concept of this one)

4. Spa Day (again haven’t played it so it may rank higher but from what I’ve seen it’s basically just okay. Like the objects and gameplay are cool but tbh it could’ve just been a stuff pack and it doesn’t really add anything to the game)

5. Dine out (this would rank higher if the restaurant system didn’t require you to dine for like 5 sim hours. I love restaurants in my game but it’s just not worth buying bc it takes so long to play. I like the objects a lot though)

6. Outdoor retreat (again i haven’t played it but i don’t see myself purchasing it in the near future because it seems to have little replay-ability and is lacking in buy mode... it’s not the worst pack they’ve ever released but it doesn’t really compare to their other game packs)

STUFF PACKS

1. Laundry day (such a cool system where we got to vote for what we want!! All my favorite create a sim and build mode objects are from this pack and the fact that it added gameplay too is so awesome)

2. Kids room (such awesome stuff in this pack and really adds a lot to playing child sims, especially if you also have get together. I still can’t get over void critters- it really adds a lot of personality to the game)

3. Bowling Night (I’m definitely biased because I’ve had this weird unfulfilled desire to go bowling for the past two years? But yeah another pack that adds game play, and I really like the outfits in the pack. Especially those cute shorts- yknow the ones- i just wish the button downs were more flattering)

4. Toddler stuff (tbh all this stuff should’ve been in base game but i really like it and it adds a lot of stuff to the game nevertheless so i ranked it here)

5. Movie Hangout (i don’t have it but I really like the content and would love to use it for kids sleepovers and stuff. I really want this pack so that’s why it’s ranked so high)

6. Cool kitchen (again i really want this pack, i love ice cream and it seems like a really cool addition to the game so I ranked it higher)

7. Fitness (honestly not super excited about this one- it seems very well done which is why it’s next but all the stuff could easily have been in the base game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

8. Perfect patio (don’t have it but it seems boring- HOT TUBS THO!)

9. Backyard (don’t have it and seems more exciting than perfect patio but doesn’t have the same content so idk not as impressive to me)

10. Spooky stuff (i really like this pack, but it’s release time was weird- i like having Halloween parties tho in seasons :-))

11. Romantic garden (cute stuff but tbh not that big of a deal to me- doesn’t really add anything to the game)

12. Vintage glamour (do i even have to say)

13. Luxury party (again, do I even have to say)

14. My first pet (i definitely don’t need to say why but I’m gonna do it anyways bc WTF WAS THIS PACK. My #1 complaint for cats and dogs was the lack of pets objects and they RELEASE A PETS OBJECTS PACK!!!!! AND IT SUCKS!!!! I’m so mad)

Okay. Time to talk about it.

For reasons.

So, as anyone who actually pays attention to the posts I make knows, I have DID and right now things aren't going so great so I'm just gonna scream into the void about it. Tw: csa cp sa and other not fun stuff.

So. I'm writing a book series, and at some point while I was writing my books, the main characters of the series ended up being introject alters in my whole ass head.

I didn't want that. Or ask for it. It just happened.

The reason I don't want that is because it makes me not want to write anymore because now those people are literally walking around in my head and its not fun. Also they are kids and my brain is not kid friendly. Or me friendly.

I don't know how they formed but I do have an inkling as to why, my theory is 1 and 2

1. The alters already existed but wanted an easy face so they took the ones I already made and rolled with it

2. The alters hadn't been formed yet but due to exterior stresses they DID form and now I've gotta deal with that.

The first theory is the most likely tho.

Anyways, this happened, I am upset by it. I am in a bunch of groups on fb for DID so I post about it (vaguely because I genuinely thought that this was sort of common but apparently it is NOT) the group i posted in had some assholes 8n the administration as well as.members who took it upon themselves to take my rather vague post about introjects and turned it into a huge mess,.claiming that I was faking having DID and that I was just making up imaginary friends. Despite the fact that the post itself alluded in NO WAY that I genuinely wanted this to happen.

I wasn't given an opportunity to explain myself, and the admin kicked me from the group. So I made another post in the sister group EXPLAINING why I was upset and what was going on and I STILL GOT MADE FUN OF, ridiculed, and my experiences invalidated. Even when I told them that I work for 11 hrs and don't have ample time to dawdle on fb groups. The admin offered to let me back into the other group but I decided to leave both of them because it is simply ridiculous that I should be completely ousted for not fitting into their idealized version of what DID is when it is such a subjective experience for everyone with it. Also one person was just a major fucking asshole to me for no good reason and I wanted to get away from them.

It was a waste of my time and added stress I really didn't need, and on top of that, it gave me LITERALLY NO ADVICE OR VALIDATION for what was ACTUALLY stressing me out.

Also, it made me mad and then Jodie fronted and it was just a big pain in the ass for no real reason.

But the thing is, I still have the same problem. Two fucking kids are running around my head in danger of being caught by a persecutor and being harmed and *I* have to figure out how to wrangle them up. Well, turns out ONE OF THEM IS A MAJOR FUCKING ASSHOLE. Which is my fault because I technically wrote him as an asshole and so his personality reflects that. And also he's 14 and 14 year olds are just a big bag of ducks to everyone. But it gets WORSE. Because he DOESN'T KNOW HES IN A SYSTEM.

So I have a 14 year old jackass running around, with no fucking clue whats going on or where he is, being actively pursued by a persecutor who wants to fucking hurt him >:(

Well, I find him, and he is pissed and won't fucking talk to me because HE doesn't want to be here EITHER. No shit Sherlock. It fucking sucks I know. But he WILL talk to my friends, when he fronts which is WHENEVER APPARENTLY. So he talks to my friends and gradually figures out sort of whats going on but THEN the persecutor (I have named him Bastard for now) gets a hold of him.

Now here is where the trigger warning stuff comes in so don't read this if you don't want to be completely skeezed out.

So..our persecutors have a nasty habit of forcing alters into co-con so they can hurt the body and make *them* feel it. Its really hard to combat and trust me, I'm working on that okay?

They do this to trigger flashbacks and panic attacks and the like because idk, that's probably their fucked up way of saying "hey here is something important you need to know" while also being incredibly fucked up and psychologically damaging to whoever happens to be the target.

Well, Bastard does this to my boy, and here is where things really get into the nitty gritty. So please avert your eyes.

A little backstory. On my trauma (or what I know of it so far cause this shit is like a 3d jigsaw puzzle)

From what I KNOW, and what I've been told by other alters, there is a huge chunk of information missing from when I was about 4-12 (cause my earliest kid memory is from like 12) and that is when I think a lot.of the particularly bad stuff happened. Except we have been trying to figure out what it was for quite a while.

We know it has to do with child pornography. Because Acey, who is 5 has memories of that and Destiny, Siren and Syn all have memories that very specifically depict incidences of cp.

Destiny has memories of being r*ped with coke bottles, and being locked in a bathroom that was converted into a dark room (we think that's how The Other One was formed, from the reflection you saw in the mirror) we know this because she kept a detailed journal of when the first persecutor showed up, Fear, and he did that thing i was talking about earlier.

Another thing about Destiny is that when she first started fronting, she was 100% certain she was not Destiny, and was *deadname*. Fear was the one who named her and only ever referred to her as Destiny.

I'm not sure about Syn because they are a cat and only talk in third person with rudimentary English, but they fucking HATE men. And Siren is a fallen angel that very explicitly talks about being too "impure" for God.

And Acey has memories of being drugged and assaulted. (Her name is literally short for Acetaminophen so...)

At this point (around sophomore year) the picture we have is that there was some csa and cp, but no perps.

However, we gained two alters at some point that could have clued us in on stuff.

Eleanor, a little who is about 4-5 years old has memories of being told to play faries with an older person, and to build her own imaginary world. And then Mockingbird. An alter who purposefully mimics other alters and lives in annual hospital.

Thing about mockingbird though, is that she has a phone in her room that is ALWAYS ringing, but whenever she answers it, the voices on the other side are unintelligible. And so is she, when she talks at least. Most of the time. She only sounds like a regular person when she pretends to be a different alter.

BUT the thing is, there had been a bunch of other stuff that hadn't correlated to this, at first we thought it may have been some sort of ritual abuse? Because in like 2017/18 an feral alter (and I mean completely animalistic, growling biting and clawing at stuff) surfaced that only spoke backwards and was also named Satan. They looked like a typical humanoid goat demon ram person thing (?)

SO to figure shit out, we send Anon (short for Anonymous) to look around the mindspace and figure out what the fuck is going on. They find this WALL. Its a huge ass brick wall, at the edge of the garden, and it circles around the entire northern hemisphere of the planet (our mindspace is a planet)

And it has a bunch of paper plastered over it saying "the rules" of the system. But no one can fucking read them. Yay. Also, Esz did some investigating of the wall himself and that's how he got caught by Controller and made feral.

And since they started fronting AFTER Esz came around, we figured oh, something is up here?? Because Esz is also a demon alter.

Well, uh, turns out there was another persecutor (aptly named Controller) in control of Satan and they were targeting Esz this time around, and the two of them integrated. Esz is still around, Satan is basically no more. Well, not really. Because now Esz is also fucking feral. Which was really stressful because having your primary protector and system manager be a fucking screeching demon beast is uh..not fun. We luckily got that under control tho (thank fucking god) but now Esz has these memories of being r*ped which is great because he is the epitome of masculinity (I jest the boy eats fucking vegan chicken with spicy ketchup wtf) but this time we get some sort of insight into Satan's (and probably Esz's) creation cause the memories involve this random ass fat guy (don't recall them mentioning seeing his face) but he was this tail kink or some shit and had a really long tail but plug and made Esz act like a literal animal to get is nasty ass rocks off.

At this point, we aren't 100% sure what's going on. Because we've got these two very conflicting narratives and one of them has what we think are religious undertones while the other has obvious cp.

And now that Esz is (as far as I'm aware) back to normal, he knows more information because to make him feral, Controller had to bring him BEHIND the wall.

So Esz informs us that the wall has a bunch of layers, and there are a shit ton of other alters back there but none of them have faces. AND there are OTHER PERSECUTORS back there, who all work in tandem with eachother in some sort of hierarchy. All led by someone called The Puppeteer.

Thats all the information we have on anything past the wall :/

BUT THEN somewhere down the line, we get another little, and their name is Penut. Which is IMPORTANT because that was the nickname we had as a little kid by our NEIGHBOR Beverly. And Penut has some unpleasant csa memories FROM BEVERLY.

At the time, we just thought "oh great, so we can add that to the stack of BULLSHIT" and didn't think much further on it.

BUT ALSO, this was around the time our sister (bio sister) came into the picture and learned about some of the stuff and she very VERY specifically says that she thinks Beverly had a major role in us developing DID. Again at the time I'm like "well yeah, if Penuts memories are true then she definitely had a role" but none of us are really even venturing further on the topic. Because we are sort of distracted by having TWO persecutors and A FERAL FUCKING PROTECTOR ALTER.

Obviously though, things cool down a whole lot more. Its good, things are great.

Until Oliver pops up.

SO NOW WE ARE BACK AT THE PRESENT MIND YOU.

There is another persecutor, he is really annoying. He is hurting my newest/possibly older but only recently resurfaced alter. And GUESS WHAT HE MAKES HIM SEE.

☆this is legitimately disturbing so please be warned☆

Bastard does his thing and Ols has a very visceral flashback- i know what happened in it because he literally wrote about it because he was convinced it was important, which it IS.

In this flashback, he is obviously me, being r*ped. But this time for some reason, the person doing the r*ping is making him look at him, so he sees this guys face. Which has never EVER happened in a flashback before. Especially to the point where you actually REMEMBER WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. The guy has green eyes, and a beard, like a scruffy longer one. And while this is happening, at some point, Ols overhears ANOTHER PERSON in the room. A woman. And it's Beverly.

I know it's Beverly because he mentions in his recount that she called him Penut.

And she is working a hand held camera, and there is another one on a stand that is like, hooked up to a television, replaying what is being recorded.

At some point he's made to face the TV, like sitting on beard guys lap or something to watch and Beverly is just casually talking to beard guy, literally telling him to hurry the fuck up because there's gonna be another "session" after this one.

They start talking about what they are going to do next (with me/Ols) and mention the next "client" and then using a tail and making me act like an animal, and then other things like using laxatives, other kinds of drugs and even using other kids. They talk about how the video won't have sound, so none of what they are saying is going to be recorded too. Beverly at one point walks up to him, close to the end I think, and is like really close to his face, and this is when she calls him Penut, and talks about how much money she's going to make (or something like that, Ols is giving me the details as I'm writing)

Then beard guy makes him come and moves him again so he can't see the TV or Beverly and then beard guy finishes his shit and Ols overhears Beverly say that they next person is almost here and he needs to go now.

Then the flashback is over and Bastard says "this is why you are here" or something along those lines, and Ols immediately (well, probably after a little mental breakdown) writes all this shit down and sends it to two of my friends in a message (im so sorry about that guys)

Then I find put about it, have a really bad time, but now I'm in puzzle mode and all the peices are starting to fit together.

So...from what we have of Oliver's flashback, Beverly is a main perp, and was basically pimping us out to folks for cash while taping it and putting it put for other folks to purchase.

Esz and Satan being feral are because the next "session" involved someone with a gross animal kink. And that can ALSO account for Syn, because she is a literal animal. Her mention of drugs can easily coincide with Acey's memories.

And Destiny's coincide with the cp in general as well as probably someone who was sadistic enough to shove fucking glass bottles inside people.

Im not 100% where Eleanor fits in, but it can easily be suggested that she came about when shit first started to get real bad. And Penut, well, I'm pretty certain that she was THE FIRST alter. And probably what gave Beverly the idea in the first place (I'm not sure because most of Penuts memories were when we had sleepovers at Beverlys but it makes a lot of sense if she were the first of us and her compliance gave Beverly the opportunity to take further advantage)

Mockingbird hearing voices through the phone could be conversations that Beverly and other people were having during "sessions"

And the persecutors. Are modeled. After the different clients (and probably Beverly too) that had come and gone.

And the wall probably has a metric fuck ton of other alters back there with other horrific experiences and memories waiting to be slowly leaked out along with this tier list of persecutors modeled after their respective abusers and the puppeteer is probably an introject OF BEVERLY.

WHAT THE FUCK.

Of course, this is all speculation and it can completely change course at the drop of a fucking hat but I have NEVER EVER been so certain in my LIFE that this is what happened. Like..it makes too much sense?!

I don’t really have NoTPs in the fandoms I’ve written in. I have a few NoTPs in general, though, although I’m not listing them here because wow, would I cause some hurt feelings.

8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom?

I saw the gifsets from The Wrath of the Lamb, and I saw the name Hannibal Lecter being bandied about, and I fell in love because I’ve loved Hannibal Lecter ever since Red Dragon. I don’t know how I missed out on hearing about the show when it first came out, but holy hell, am I sorry. I’ve been a Fannibal ever since. It was the same story with Gotham. I’d actively avoided Gotham because of the debacle of Smallville, but it was the Nygmobblepot gifs and Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin that finally drew me in.

9. What are the best things about your current fandom?

Fannibals are fucking awesome, yo. They’re the best thing about the fandom; hell, they *are* the fandom. I love them all, every one. From well-thought out meta to cracked out gifsets to the supportive fanfic community. It’s amazing.

10. Is there a fandom you read fic from but don’t write in?

Because I write, I try not to read a lot, because I don’t want to accidentally crib from someone else’s story, or steal someone else’s idea, because I know what it’s like to pour your life into things.

I think I’m probably the only person who actually ships it, but John Winchester/Veronica Mars.

Destiel. I dislike Destiel with a passion. Ditto Barisi. That’s about it.

Ares/Strife. They’re not my favorite by any means, but I still have a huge soft spot for them.

uh, probably Clark/Lex or Jim/Blair, just due to the length of time I was in both fandoms.

19. Is there a ship which you wished you could get behind, but you just don’t feel them?

Destiel and Barisi. They’re popular ships shipped by some people I really like, but I just can’t get behind them. It’s a knee-jerk thing. I can’t even really voice why I dislike them as much as I do, I just do.

20. Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking?

Nygmobblepot, actually. I didn’t think I was going to like anything in Gotham, much less the Penguin and the Riddler, but damned if I don’t love it so much I’m actually writing about it as we speak.

21. What was the first fanfic you ever wrote?

Detested Sport, it was from a Shakespeare quote, I think, and it was Ares/Strife. I think it’s lost to the world, thank fucking God.

22. Is there anything you regret writing?

Writing? No. Sharing? Yes. It’s called “My Soul’s Imaginary Sight,” and it’s the first time I used an OC, Meravin, who has gone through about a billion evolutions since, and has ended up as a Star Wars OC named Sheridan. I wish I hadn’t shared it, because while it was a definitely needed step in my development as a writer, it’s such a blatant self-insert Mary Sue that I really regret sharing it.

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

Shoah. It’s a Sentinel fic, written for one of the “Many Faces Of…” edition of My Mongoose e-zines. I think it was MFO Jim. But it’s an AU set during the Holocaust, in one of the concentration camps. It’s not a particularly cheerful story, and the writing process was terrible. I did so much research trying to make it honest to the experience that I spent whole evenings crying in chat windows with my friends Lisa and Patt, who basically hand-held me through the worst of it. But I’m inordinately fond of it, because of the work that went into it, and of how it came out. It’s not my best writing, by a long shot, but I think it’s probably my most emotional and evocative.

24. What fic do you desperately need to rewrite or edit?

Pretty much everything prior to my Doctor Who fic. I’m very critical of my earlier works.

25. What’s your most popular fanfic?

A recent one, Consortio, an ABO Hannigram sort-of Medieval-ish handwavey AU.

26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles?

Quotations, song lyrics, poetry, Shakespeare, sometimes pulled out of my ass.

27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles or writing summaries?

SUMMARIES, JESUS CHRIST, SAVE ME FROM SUMMARIES.

28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of?

Dealer’s choice, really. I’d just be thrilled for anybody to pick SOMETHING.

29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not?

I do not, although I fear I need one for Gotham. It’s more a personal choice than anything else. I’ve got a particular style that doesn’t always mesh well with taking concrit, and while my grammar is very… erratic, at times (stuff it, I love my commas as you can tell), I feel like I should be the arbiter of what I create.

30. What inspires you to write?

Practically anything. Songs, less often. TV shows of the source material, obviously. Movies, sometimes. Random quotes, what ifs, conversations with friends, AU lists, prompt lists, sentence starters…

31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?

It’s from a writer named Mysenia on my fic Consortio: “All the kudos! Just re-read this story, and I loved it every bit as much as I did the first time :D” Because that’s honestly the first time anyone has mentioned re-reading something of mine in the comment, and it made me so happy for DAYS

32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?

Actually, it depends on what I’m writing. If I’m working on writing sex, then I need dance music, which I usually abhor. I find the Matrix soundtracks work really well, as do Rammstein albums. If I’m doing emotional/angsty things, then Meat Loaf is my go-to. Otherwise, it’s kind of a mish-mash. My music folders are here, on my Google drive, if anyone is really interested in anything I listen to.

33. Do you write oneshots, multi-chapter fics or huuuuuge epics?

Mostly one-shots, although I’ve been known to do a chaptered fic/series once in a while.

34. What’s the word count on your longest fic?

7,706 on “The Masks We Wear.” I’ve got a series of fics that is 35,498, over about fifteen different stories. Consortio and Kastytis are both chaptered, so they don’t count. Consortio is 23,088 and Kastytis is 24,706

35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about?

Strictly 100 word pieces? Not any more. I used to write for drabble challenges, but I can never stay within the word limit any more. If you mean 200 words or less drabble-ishes, then yes, I do write those. About a lot of things, really.

36. What’s your favourite genre to write?

I’m kind of fond of first-times, although that’s not a given. I don’t tend to stick to any one given genre.

37. First person or third person - what do you write in and why?

Third, unless it’s some VERY special occasion. First person drives me nuts. I love the Hunger Games books, but seeing things as Katniss gives me hives from time to time.

38. Do you use established canon characters or do you create OCs?

I’ve done both, actually, although 99% of my OC writing stays private. Which is sometimes a pity, because I think I’ve written some pretty good shit with some of my OCs.

39. What is your greatest strength as a writer?

I don’t know that I really have one.

Staying in character, finishing what I start.

Mostly I do, because I know how valuable the reviews are to writers. I try and speak to what I liked best about the story, or how it moved me.

50. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction?

I eased into it by way of RP. Play by email was my thing, and I loved reading threads strung together, which was basically fanfiction. Then a friend of mine introduced me to Ares/Joxer slash, and I’ve just gone from there. I’ve always written it, as long as I can remember, even though I didn’t know that’s what it was called.

51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!

The one thing I hate in the world of fanfiction is the kind of elitism that is absolutely bullshit. As a writer, if you don’t write the pairing du jour, or the kind of thing that the fandom at large is clamoring for (RPF, AU, ABO, ten thousand other different things) then you don’t get a bit of recognition no matter how good you are. Hannibal fandom is the first time that I’ve not seen this. This is the only fandom that I know of where an author can write what they want to write and still be recognized for it.

Still watch Chou Super Hero Taisen RAW...

... And, unfortunately, still haven’t become fluent in Japanese.

(spoilers? ish? gonna do a read more since this gonna be super long...)

(AND I DO MEAN LONG)

Still not sure where the real world is.

Okay, it feels kinda like they just remembered the Kyurangers existed.

Come to think of it, whatever happened to the other Kyus? Where are Lucky, Garu, and Hammy? Where’s the Aibous (even though I don’t think they’d become Aibous yet when this came out)? Much as I love Balance and Naga... I’d love to see the others, too.

Wait... Is this Hiiro’s house?

Did Amu follow him? I still don’t get why she’s here... Though I’m glad she’s taking care of the Hiiro-wrangling (because this is before the majority of his development, I think... Though I’m pretty sure it was after he discovered he’d accidentally started caring about Emu).

Okay, why don’t I just admit I don’t remember where either of these shows were when this film came out?

Come to think of it... Did Hiiro see a kid get sucked into a game and nots ay anything? It’d probably be less confusing if I knew what was being said.

Also, Tokusatsu suit actors are all bloody gifts to this world and should be cherished. Their physical and silent acting is positively charming and magnificent.

Oh, god, he did the surgeon hand thing. That means shit’s about to go down. Not sure if he said one of his catchphrases, but the hand thing is the equivalent of the hat turning around for Hiiro.

In other news, Seto is so pretty. Just getting that out of the way. No one wants to hear me gush about it, probably.

On a technical level, I’m super curious how they filmed this scene. I mean, it’s Seto talking to himself, and then fighting himself. You can do camera angles for the conversation, but it’s pretty cool they made it look like he was getting kicked through a wall by his doppelgänger.

Also, I detect an error. Taddle Legacy is higher than Lvl 50. Alternate Hiiro, you lie!

Though, no way around it, I still love Brave’s henshin jingles. All of them.

It was the real Utcchy! Wait, it was? Then why was he in the game thing before? Was Candelira/Torin’s ghost just like ‘whoops, shit’s happening in this game! Utcchy! Handle it!’ and dropped him in?

Oh, whatevs. He’s still a good little muffin.

Announcer does unnecessary but still wonderful ‘A-MA-ZON’ style proclamation for Amazons Amazon. And this after we saw original Amazon. Except he wasn’t actually... Oh, forget it.

Actually, what happened to the rest of the GoRiders? Did I miss it? Since Jin’s very dead, that wasn’t actually them anyway, I guess. Maybe. I DON’T KNOW.

Or maybe he knows something they don’t? He and his doppelgänger were talking and fighting, so the alternate may have said something. Then again, I have no clue what anyone is saying.
