[Translation] A Story That is Mine Alone (Mika FS2) / Chapter 2

Mika: Oshi-san probably trusted Anzu-chan with the message because he was positive I can do this. I'm going to shoo away my insecurities and only trust the words I've gotten from Oshi-san and everyone else! Anzu-chan, please look forward to it!

Mika: As an artist, and as an idol, I'm going to create a stage that nobody else can.

Arcanamusica Comic Chapter 1-2 (前編+後編)

“S-Sugoroku…like, that Sugoroku?

“Correct, it is that Sugoroku!” Suu replies. “I assume that you do not need an explanation of the rules. In that case, we can commence the game in order of who came to the venue first. Mr. Legge, here are the dice, if you will.”

Jujo rolls the dice and a small player character appears on the board and starts moving. Shibuyoshi gasps in awe and Jujo’s piece lands on the space with the question:

“..What? What- does that mean?” Igashima questions.

“Ah, so we have to answer this stuff and play Sugoroku at the same time?” Maimy asks.

“Like an icebreaker at a mixer,” Kawawa adds. “A game that also makes you introduce yourself a bit more to other people. Kinda gets you excited to meet them.”

Maimy smirks. “Hm~? You’re the kind of guy to go to mixers?”

“..J-Just to socialize..”

“Legge!” Shibyoshi bursts out. “So, what are you into, anyway?”

He thinks, quiet for a minute.

“Baking. Macarons.”

Baking..? This guy looks like he wouldn’t settle for anything less than the high-end macarons they sell in Ginza… (T/N: a very high end shopping district)

“What a wonderful hobby!”

“M-maybe he was trying to do a bit of straight-man comedy there…”

“I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover..?”

“Mr. Dark Palace is next. Please, roll the dice!”

“Yeah, yeah..”

Maimy rolls a three and lands on the question:

Tell me one of your charms! No need to hold back or be embarrassed.

Without a hesitation, Maimy answers, “My looks.”

Well, he didn’t hold back…Kinda impressive…

“Next! Mr. Shibukichi!”

“Here I go!!” Shibuyoshi rolls a three and lands on the space that reads: Tell the person on your left one of the most embarrassing things that happened in your past! Secretly☆

“Wha-!? Tha-that kind of thing…Ahhh…”

“What’s the big deal if it’s a secret, anyway..”

“Th-then..” Shibuyoshi leans over to Igashima and whispers, “...And then…And my…THEN I SAID, PENGUINS GET COLD TOO!..PLEASE DON’T TELL ANYBODY... So cringe…”

Penguins..? What kind of story…

“Next is-”

Igashima raises his hand. “It’s my turn.” He rolls the dice.

If there’s someone you’re interested in here, point them out.

“S-so this is just a blind date?!” Kawawa jumps. “But we’re all guys and we just met today, there’s no w-”

“It’s you.” Igashima gestures towards Maimy.

DID HE JUST..?!

“I taught him.”

“..What?”

“Mai-....Dark Palace was a former student of mine. What you do after graduation…Well, as a teacher, of course I care about what happens to my students.”

Maimy scowls. “Gh…You just care about your reputation as a teacher.”

“So Ikkun, you’re a teacher?” Shibuyoshi asked.

“Mr. RiZ, you’re next.”

His piece lands on the space, asking:

What do you do for a living? And if you want to share, what’s your yearly salary!?

“It’s kind of embarrassing to say, because really, it’s not much…I guess I’m what you call the working poor, haha, ha…”

“If you are only working to be compensated, there is nothing enriching your life.”

“So the writing is terrible..” Suu crosses their arms.

“I know, what if we each show our talents as performers?!”

Kawawa looks dejected. “You say performers, but that’s not…”

“Not all of us are entertai-” Igashima starts.

“You don’t have to be an entertainer! As long as you give your all, it will be fine! Go big or go home! That way, we’ll all have a great time!”

“U….Uhhh…..I mean, I guess?” Kawawa blinks. “Even if I complain, I’m stuck here…”

“Well,” Maimy exhales. “If that’s the kind of thing we’re supposed to do, it’s whatever…

Igashima smiles. “I suppose I can participate a little more myself.”

Jujo rolls the dice and the board shines.

“Congratulations! This is a special question. Everyone must answer the question that this space provides.”

“S-special..!” Kawawa gulps.

“White.” Jujo answers.

“Hm…” Maimy thinks, “Pretty sure they’re black.”

Maimy looks at Kawawa. “Can you just answer already? It’s not a big deal.”

“We don’t have to answer that!”

“By the way,” Igashima winks, “the word ‘underwear’ can refer to any article of clothing that you wear under your normal clothes. So when I said white, I was referring to my undershirt.”

“In what way is that considered cheating?” Jujo asks.

“Okay, next~” Maimy rolls the dice.

“Second round?!” Shibuyoshi yells.

“This time, we have prepared three games for you to play!”

“Why so many?!”

Igashima turns to face Suu. “So essentially, is the Destiny Game the name of the games that your organization hosts?”

“When you receive the title of ‘World’, I will confirm your wish again. In the meantime, please be prepared for the question and decide what you would like!”

Kawawa looks at his gauge, holding 109 Arcana points. “Well…that’s if we can even save them up that far…”

“....” Jujo remains silent, but looks forward with determination.

Part 3

"Uraraka, Are you going to tell Izuku that you're seeing someone else?" Aika asked. Uraraka shook her head.

"Of course not; Izuku is a powerful alpha. I would be stupid to break up with him. If we're being honest, he doesn't romance me; he doesn't make me feel anything. But if I stay with him, my pups will be powerful too." Uraraka explained. I did not know that her apartment would be empty of Izuku's belongings.

Aika laughed through the phone. There was a slight shuffling.

"It's such a good plan; I will force Izuku to mate with me when I get from my trip. He's stupid anyhow. It's crazy how much I've gotten away with." Uraraka bragged through the phone to her friend.

"I'm going to go through. I must start packing and come up with some things to tell Izuku." She says before hanging up.

"You're going to let that pathetic alpha touch you? What if I gave you pups?" Takashi asked. Uraraka scoffed.

"Be real; if you were a powerful alpha, then I wouldn't need Izuku. Just stick with me, and we can milk Izuku for everything he has." Uraraka explained.

Uraraka spent the rest of her vacation rolling around the sheets with an alpha names Takashi. Someone she met in the same class as her. He knew about Izuku and thought it was funny to discreetly rub it in his face that the two of them were messing around with one another, and he didn't know.

The next few days came and flew by. On the way back to the apartment Uraraka pulled her phone out and called Izuku. When she did, it just rang and went to voicemail.

"Huh." She commented. So she tried to call him again, and Izuku answered that time.

“This is Izuku Midoriya.” That was what he said.

"Ikkun! I wanted to tell you that I am on my way home and can't wait to see you." Uraraka stated cheerfully.

"Ochaco-san." That was all that Izuku said. He wasn't sure what he should say.

"Ochaco-san? What's with the formality?" Uraraka asked. She giggled, thinking it was a mistake.

"I know everything; you don't have to lie; at the moment, I don't know how I feel towards you. But I am not ready to talk to you. I moved out of the apartment; you can keep it until the lease is up. I'll transfer money to your account." Izuku started to say. Uraraka wanted to interrupt him, but he kept talking.

When Izuku finished talking, Uraraka had to pull out all the stops. She couldn't lose Izuku; she needed him because he had money and was a powerful alpha.

"Ikkun… I'm so sorry… Please, you have to believe me. I never meant to hurt you. You are the only one I want. Please let me make it up to you." Uraraka sobbed into the phone. They were crocodile tears, and she didn't mean it. But Uraraka knew Izuku wasn't brilliant and often took advantage of his feelings. He wore his heart on his sleeve.

"Hold on; I'll be right there," Izuku spoke. He wasn't listening to her; he knew she was faking it. They've been together for almost three years, and he knew her ins and outs and what she felt before she did. "I'm sorry, uraraka; as I said, I don't want to talk about this right now. I have plans. We can talk briefly, meet me at the café on the corner by the apartment. We can talk then." Izuku said, and then he hung up.

Uraraka sat there clutching her phone. She couldn't believe that Izuku was doing this to her. She wouldn't give up, though; she would do whatever it took to get him back.

"We're all set to go," Takashi stated. Uraraka stood up, walked past him, and went straight towards the car.

"I need to go shopping," Uraraka told him. Takashi took a deep breath and nodded. It was just easier to agree and do what she said. He did want that money that Uraraka always talked about Izuku had. He must be loaded or come from a wealthy family. He always told himself.

Uraraka had many things that she would do to get Izuku back. One of them was crying, which didn't work, so now she would show off her body. Izuku was great in bed, and she always bragged about it to her group of friends, and they were jealous.

Uraraka went shopping for dresses, and she needed something casual but sexy. It wasn't a nightclub, and she needed to show Izuku what he would miss.

When she went up to the counter, she had a few choices in her hand, and she plopped them on the counter and pulled out her credit card. Well, it was Izuku's, but he gave it to her and told her to use it whenever she wanted to.

"I'm sorry, this card was declined. Do you want me to try it again, or do you have another card?" The cashier explained.

"What's wrong run it again. You must have hit a wrong button or something like that." Uraraka snapped. There could be no way that the card was declined, and she had just used it yesterday.

"Nope, sorry. the card you gave me was declined." The cashier stated one more time. The cashier handed her the card back. Uraraka growled, pulling her wallet out and giving another card. It went through, and her purchases were put in a bag and handed back to her.

"Thanks for stopping by. We hope to see you again." The employee called after.

"How could he do this to me!? How could he just cut me off like that? I am still his girlfriend!" Baraka spewed back to the car.

"Take me back to my apartment, so I can get ready and get our money back. There is no way he can resist me." Uraraka commented, and Takashi shook his head but did her bidding.

"Izuku Midoriya, you better get ready to drop to your knees and beg for my forgiveness," Uraraka stated.

Arcanamusica Multi-Dimensional Media Project Reveals Voice Actors

The "multi-dimensional" media mix project from Shueisha and Avex, Arcanamusica, has revealed today the voice actors/singers behind the arcane masks. Arcanamusica is set to encompass everything from music videos, drama, voice comics, social media content and much more, with songs being released from the characters based around the concept of tarot cards.

Here are the voices behind the characters (arcana names in brackets):

Shizuka Kawana (RiZ) is voiced by Kakeru Hatano

Gakunoshin Maimiya (Yamitono <Dark Palace>) is voiced by ROβiN

Itsuku Igashim (Ikkun) is voiced by Sho Sakagami

Riku Shibuyoshi (Shibukichi) is voiced by Kosuke Shiraishi

Kazuki Jujo (Regge) is voiced by Tomohiro Hatano

The main visual of the group was also released (image at the top), with songs already released for each of them as they debuted in March this year. The group is set to release more and more throughout the rest of the year, with more details to come.

Chapter 10

It's now December 24th, Christmas Eve. Mei is writing a shopping list - to buy roast turkey, salad, French baguettes and ingredients for cake.

Asahina comes to Mei's side and comments that she seems pumped up, asking her if they are going to have a Christmas party. Smiling, Mei replies yes, as it's her first time spending Christmas here (I think by 'here', she's referring to Iori's home). Mei tells Asahina with a teardrop that Iori had said to her that she could do whatever she wanted. (Iori in the bubble: I don't care much for Christmas anyway. Asahina remarks that that is something Iori would say.)

Noticing something, Asahina asks, "That thing, hanging in the balcony, isn't it mistletoe?"

Mei goes, "Eh? Mistletoe? (So that's what it's called.)" Asahina explains to her that it is a popular Christmas decoration in the West.

Asahina then lifts Mei's chin and goes close to her, saying, "Did you know? They say that 'Two people who kiss under the mistletoe will be happy forever.'"

Mei looks back at Asahina blankly, and then answers with a smile, "I see! What a wonderful saying!" Asahina then smiles back at her, saying, "Ahaha, my message didn't get across."

The two of them then get distracted by the doorbell. Mei goes to the front door, wondering who it could be - a delivery?

Opening the door, it turns out to be Kanon, and she is desperately pleading for Mei to let her hide in the house for a while. Mei is stunned and asks Kanon what's happened. Kanon explains, "After I quarreled with my boyfriend, he kept chasing after me!"

Mei says, "Eh?! That's no good...", but then pauses and thinks to herself, 'Huh? Boyfriend...?'

Mei then asks Kanon, "Ka...Kanon-san, what did you just say...", when Tokieda suddenly appears at the door, calling out, "Kanon!"

Mei is surprised to see Tokieda, and Kanon looks alarmed.

Kanon then shouts at Tokieda, saying, "Why did you chase me here, Ikkun!!", and Tokieda answers, saying, "Well, I have to come here for work, too..."

Mei is bewildered, asking, "Ik...Ikkun?"

Iori then comes out from his room (holding Soseki), saying that it's noisy. He says, "You dumb couple, can you find somewhere else to argue?"

Mei is shocked, going, "Dumb couple?! Eh, are you referring to..."

Iori then explains to Mei that Tokieda and Kanon are currently dating. (Tokieda's full name - Tokieda Ikuya / Ikkun) Mei is shocked beyond belief.

Mei takes some time to process this new information, thinking to herself that she never noticed it. Sighing, Tokieda mutters, "...Nevertheless, who knows what'll become of us in the future." Kanon gets agitated by that and scolds, "What's with you, saying something like that!!". Mei panics and wonders what to do about their fierce argument.

Going up to Mei, Iori takes the notebook from her hand and asks if it's a shopping list. Mei says that it is. Iori then says that Mei, Asahina and himself will go out to do grocery shopping, while Tokieda and Kanon can stay to talk out their issues. Iori says, "Let's go.", and Mei and Asahina follow along.

On the way, Mei wonders to herself why Iori seems to be used to dealing with such situations.

At the grocery store, Iori and Asahina are attracting a lot of attention from the women. (Asahina is asking, where's the turkey? Iori says, don't know. LOL) Mei is thinking to herself that the two of them are very eye-catching indeed.

Mei thinks that she feels a little dizzy, as she has been thinking about the relationship between Iori, Kanon and Tokieda. (Relationship chart: Iori has had an unrequited love for Kanon for 10 years. Kanon is Iori's step-sibling. Iori and Tokieda are work partners, while Tokieda and Kanon are dating.)

While Mei tries to conclude something in her thoughts, Asahina remarks, "Say, Iori-sensei, did you already know since long ago that the two of them were dating?"

Iori replies, yes. He has been strung along by Kanon all this time while she kept seeking Tokieda's affections. (Elementary school - Kanon hugging Tokieda while saying, I like Ikkun the most <3. Middle school - Kanon giving Tokieda a bento. College - Kanon holding Tokieda's arm, saying, we've started dating <3)

Iori says that he's already seen so much of Kanon and Tokieda fighting like that that he's already numb to it. Asahina then remarks, "They're the kind of couple who grow closer the more they fight, eh?". Iori replies, "... That seems to be the case."

Mei looks on sadly at Iori upon hearing the things he's said. Asahina then calls out to Mei, going, "Mei-chan, Mei-chan!" He whispers in her ear, "Isn't this your chance?!"

Mei goes, "Eh?", and Asahina tells her, "Kanon-san already has a boyfriend, doesn't she? Since that's the case, you don't need to support Iori-sensei's love anymore, right?". Mei says a little hesitatingly that he's right.

Asahina continues, "Also, Mei-chan, Iori-sensei treats you especially well, you know." Mei goes, "Eh?" again, and Asahina says, "Eh? You haven't noticed?"

Asahina then suddenly puts an arm around Mei lovingly, saying, "Wah-- you're so warm <3". Mei is surprised, asking Asahina if he's fine and if he's feeling cold.

All of a sudden, Asahina and Mei are pushed apart by a packet - it's Iori who has come between them. He hands Asahina a packet of heat packs, telling him to buy it. Iori then turns away from them, seemingly in a foul mood. Asahina then whispers to Mei again, saying, "See?"

Mei is in disbelief. She wonders with a blush if Iori was being jealous. While she stands aside blushing her head off, Asahina gazes at her and mutters to himself, "...Hurry up and get rejected, then come to me."

Later, they return home and Mei sees Kanon cheerfully decorating a Christmas tree. Mei wonders aloud where Tokieda has gone, and Kanon answers that he's left. Kanon comments that Tokieda seems to love to drown himself in work.

Kanon then notices something and asks Iori, "Anyway, what's happened? You're actually helping Mei-chan to carry the groceries. How caring <3"

Mei starts to say, "Thank you very...", but Iori cuts in and remarks, "Nah. It's because Mei is clumsy. Daydreaming and tripping over all the time."

Asahina then chips in, saying, "You're saying things like that again, but we know that Iori-sensei treats Mei-chan particularly well." Kanon doesn't seem pleased, while Mei goes, "So-Sora-kun, stop it!!" (and Iori saying that they are being noisy).

Smiling darkly to herself for a second, Kanon then says with a sparkling smile, "Iori, I was thinking, why don't I stay in this home, too? <3"

Mei is stunned at the suggestion. Iori is also surprised, asking Kanon what she's saying. Kanon then says, "It's fine, right? It feels like it'll be fun. There're empty rooms here, anyway."

Iori begins to say that the space isn't the issue, but Kanon has sauntered off to the shelves and picks up a picture book, going, "Wah-- come and look at this! This book gives me such nostalgia!"

Iori then gets annoyed. Mei wonders why Kanon is suddenly saying such things. Kanon starts reminiscing, "... Last time, you always read this book to me."

"Last time, when my father didn't come home for Christmas, I would cry alone at home. Iori would then come to accompany me and read stories to me. Iori has always been so caring."

Mei then thinks to herself that this is a memory that Iori and Kanon share, which she is not a part of - she thinks that the two of them truly grew up together.

Kanon asks Mei, "Mei-chan, is your father also absent?", to which Mei says yes. Kanon then looks down, saying, "It seems like we share similar circumstances. Perhaps this is the reason Iori can't leave us alone." Mei looks disappointed.

Iori then tells Kanon not to bring up the past anymore, while Kanon goes, "Eh, why?". On the side, Asahina remarks, "Uwah, clearly asserting her dominance, huh."

Mei sadly thinks to herself, "I thought I was special. Now I feel terrible for being so mistaken... It's because I'm similar to Kanon-san, that's why Iori-sensei cares for me so much..."

Later, they are all having dinner together and Kanon says for everyone to eat more. Asahina comments that Kanon is full of energy, and Kanon replies that it's because she's feeling merry.

Iori's phone rings and he excuses himself to take the call. Asahina also gets up, saying that he needs to use the washroom. Mei is then left at the table along with Kanon, and she thinks to herself that it feels awkward.

Kanon starts speaking, saying, "You know, I became Iori's double because of Ikkun's request. I wanted him to love me, so I did all I could to gain his affections, but I got nothing in return."

"Dad left because of a woman, Ikkun because of work. Everyone prioritizes other things over me."

"...Only Iori, only Iori is different. He's willing to take care of me."

"Therefore, Mei-chan, I'm begging you, don't take Iori away from me."

Mei wonders in her head what Kanon means, and asks, "...Kanon-san, did you already know all along about Iori-sensei's feelings for you?" (We see that Iori is in earshot of what Mei is saying.)

Kanon looks a little out of it (she is probably drunk), going, "Eh...". Mei continues, saying, "You're already dating Tokieda-san, yet you want Iori-sensei to continue liking you..."

Tearing up, Mei says, "Have you ever considered how Iori-sensei would feel...?" We see that Iori seems stunned, while Kanon goes, "Mei-chan...", and then she collapses on the table, shocking Mei.

Asahina returns while Mei is panicking over Kanon. He asks if Kanon has fallen asleep from being drunk, and says that he will carry her to the guest room. Mei says that she will follow, but Asahina tells her that it's fine - that she can stay and rest a little. Mei looks on and thanks Asahina. Meanwhile, we see Iori brooding a little over what has just happened.

Later, Mei is at the balcony looking out into the distance. Iori comes out to the balcony as well, commenting to Mei that she'd catch a cold (since it's cold outside). Mei is surprised to see Iori.

Mei then gets covered with a jacket. Iori says to her, "It's true. I might be paying extra attention to you."

"However, I've never thought that you were similar to Kanon."

Mei tears up and replies, ".....Okay."

Mei asks, "Iori-sensei, did you already know all along about what Kanon-san thought of you?"

Iori answers with a sad smile, "...Yes."

Mei looks at Iori indignantly, saying, "Sensei, you said it before. You said, 'As long as she keeps smiling, that's good enough.' What about yourself, Iori-sensei?"

Her eyes brimming with tears, Mei says, "You're always looking so glum, you don't seem happy at all..."

Mei recalls Asahina's words about mistletoe: 'Two people who kiss under the mistletoe will be happy forever.', and grabs Iori's face to give him a kiss (under the mistletoe).

Breaking the kiss, Mei says to a surprised Iori, "... I also want the person I love to be able to smile."
