The one where Bruce is the asshole (again)
So! We have a typical story where the JLA finds out about the Situation in Amity.
Whichever way they find out doesn't matter, but either way they end up sending Batman to do a threat analysis and review of whether this requires their attention.
And while there, he runs into a Kid who obviously needs to be saved from his Abusive Home. Look at him, he's far too thin, his grades are horrible, he has many unexcused absences, and he has bruises hidden under his clothes.
Even after figuring out that Danny is Phantom the local Hero, he thinks Danny needs to be saved from his Parents.
I mean, it's plain to see! They Hates Ghosts with a Passion, negelct their son very often, shoot at him nearly every day, and are probably the ones who killed him in the first place!
So, with no input from Danny himself, Bruce calls CPS on the Fentons and uses his Wealth to expedite the process and avoid the actual Investigation. (I mean, why would you even need one? It's so obviously a bad home!)
The Fenton's are arrested, and Bruce reveals that Danny is Phantom to convince the Courts that they are horrible people for shooting at their own son, and that they should be locked up (ignoring the horrified looks on their faces, probably cause they were living with a Ghost for so long, thats probably why).
He immediately offers to adopt Danny, even when Danny vehemently refuses his offer. He knows that Danny will come around to it, he's doing this for his own good. He still thinks his Parents were good people, and not thr Villains they really were.
Meanwhile Danny's life has been completely uprooted thanks to the self-righteous machinations of an Adoption Crazed Fruitloop! And not even the usual one!
Sure his parents were often busy with their work, but they Always set aside time to hang out with their kids and make sure they were okay. They never abused him, the neglect was only for like a month or two when the portal before they got their act together and apologized for it, and (most importantly) THEY DIDN'T KNOW he was a Halfa when they shot at him! They only found out when the ASSHOLE revealed his Identity in Court!
And Danny is Extra enraged by that part. The Adoption Crazed Fruitloop had revealed his secret identity for the ENTIRE WORLD TO HEAR!
He would never be able to live a normal life anymore, even if he managed to get away from the Moron who caused all this!
Bruce Wayne was a Villain in his eyes.
He ripped him from his home and from his family (basically kidnapped), revealed his identity to the world so he was forced to stay with him for fear of the GIW, and spun the whole story so that it looked like he was the Good Guy in this!?
It was official. Danny Hates Bruce Wayne, possibly more than anyone else in the World.
And that's a High Bar.

Things you need to know about Wally: he's incredibly petty and full of rage. He's also very kind and a genuinely great person. He's incredibly insecure. He thinks Barry's the salt of the earth and Iris is the greatest (CANON quote from Wally, in case anyone's wondering). He tries his best. He loves his family. He has a history of doing very morally questionable things in the name of revenge.

As sympathetic as many of the characters in the League of Villains are, I'm frustrated by the number of people who seem to view them as a righteous group of plucky underdogs. This isn't about people who just think a character is hot and make horny art of them. It's about sincerely trying to argue that we should be rooting for them because they have some genuinely good points about flaws in their society.
Thing is, these characters do reveal serious flaws in their society. Shigaraki was able to be adopted and manipulated by AFO because everyone assumed that a lost child was someone else's problem. Touya was abused and pushed to a mental breaking point as a child because of Enji's relentless pursuit for a power that would make himself feel better. Toga was ostracized and treated as a freak because her quirk is deeply alarming to people. Jin fell into homelessness and despair because his boss fired him for something that was an accident. Spinner grew up smothered by anti-heteromorph prejudice. We don't get a lot of details about Magne's backstory, but knowing she was trans, we can guess at a lot. The members of the League are all deeply damaged, traumatized people who have, in various ways, been let down by society.
It's easy to sympathize with them because we can all see how, in that position, what they decide to do might seem like it made sense. It's easy to sympathize with them because the problems they face (neglect, abuse, and bigotry) are all things that affect our own society. There's a sense of justice in wanting to tear down a system that's caused you to suffer that much.
But however much we can sympathize with their pain, we shouldn't forget the choices they've made or the actions they've taken. And we shouldn't ignore the fact that their choices and actions are moving them further from the things they really want.
Shigaraki isn't trying to reform society. He doesn't want to tear the current system down so that he can build something better. He wants to tear things down for the sheer sake of destroying them and taking out his rage and pain on everyone else.
Jin's death hits hard because the reason he ends up dying is that he won't give up on his friends. Hawks sees Jin's loyalty and kindness to his friends and realizes that he has a good heart deep down. But Jin's final act is to brutally murder a hero for trying to apprehend Toga and Compress. Their lives weren't in danger.
Touya wants revenge on his father. Understandable, but one of the first things we learn about him is that he's responsible for several random murders. We see him kill a band of petty thieves simply because he decides they aren't powerful enough to be useful to the League. Those murders have nothing to do with his relationship with his father (well. Everything he does has to do with his relationship to his father, but you take my point). And his desire is specifically for vengeance. It isn't enough for him that Enji's crimes and cruelty be exposed. He's not just trying to say, "This man is not the person you think he is, and you shouldn't hold him up as an ideal figure." He wants Enji to suffer. He wants to inflict as much pain as he can.
Toga just murders people because she likes them. Her idea of loving someone is to literally consume them.
And their end goal isn't a better world. It's chaos and anarchy. They want to destabilize society and then provide the arms and ideology that would turn it into a libertarian dystopia. Thing is, that wouldn't actually get them what they want or need.
Take Spinner for instance. We know that in the chaotic times just after quirks appeared, heteromorphs faced intense and dangerous discrimination and hate everywhere. While it's true that heteromorphs still face discrimination and even violence, especially in rural areas, we've also seen that knocking out the social order only makes that worse (think of the woman who Deku saves. She couldn't get into any shelters because she's a heteromorph, even though she was in the middle of the city).
Touya is certainly getting his vengeance on his father, but it isn't getting him what he actually wanted which is acknowledgement from Enji that he is good enough. Having Shoto fight him instead of Enji is one of the worst outcomes he could have gotten, because it is still a refusal to acknowledge him in Touya's eyes (Strictly speaking, it was actually an acknowledgement of the fact that he is probably stronger than Enji, but Touya clearly doesn't see it that way).
Toga, I think, really wants acceptance for who she really is. Her quirk frightens people, and it seems inherently villainous. But the actions she's taking only make her more terrifying to others, and I think she's also mistaken to think that her violent and murderous actions are an expression of her "true self."
And Shigaraki... well he's probably the most difficult case. All he wanted at the beginning of the story was destruction. But it's hard to get a read on him in any accurate way because of the extent to which he's been molded and manipulated by AFO into his current state. I think we can get more insight into him by looking at what desires and motivations AFO played on. As a small child, Shigaraki was angry (and rightly so) about the way his family treated him, and then at the way the rest of the world ignored him. AFO fanned his anger and resentment and actively twisted his experiences until now he can't escape the idea that there's nothing good in the world at all. But we also know that he's wrong about that. The only hope for him at this point is that Deku can show him that he's wrong.
The hurt and anger that the members of the League live with are real and valid. They've each experienced things that would turn most people bitter and angry. Those things make them deeply human and sympathetic. But it's possible to sympathize or even empathize with someone's pain without giving them a free pass to become violent murderers and terrorists.
One of the most important themes in the story is that people aren't defined by the things that happened to them in the past, but by the choices they've made in response. The League serves as a vital foil to the main characters because they've made opposite choices at nearly every turn. Trying to wave those choices away and make these characters out to be basically good people whose actions are justified by their situations (as opposed to being explained by their situations) destroys that theme.

Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights) "Growing up a fosterling near the Earnshaws, Heathcliff becomes an angry man, in love with Catherine. When he realizes that he can never marry Catherine Earnshaw, Heathcliff leaves to make his fortune. He later returns and devotes his life to making their families and heirs miserable, explicitly destroying their lives and happiness for the sake of petty revenge. He is described by other characters as a demon, and after death people see his ghost and his love Catherine’s walking the moors together.
Wikipedia says “Owing to the novel's enduring fame and popularity, he is often regarded as an archetype of the tortured antihero whose all-consuming rage, jealousy and anger destroy both him and those around him; in short, the Byronic hero”."
The Artificer (Rain World) "A fierce combatant, master of pyrotechnics and explosives. Keen to move up in the foodchain, your journey will surely be one lined with constant bloodshed and warfare."
The Artificer is a violent, carnivorous slugcat with the ability to propel themself through the air by creating explosions, along with the power to turn spears and rocks into explosives at the cost of food. They have a bitter grudge against the Scavengers, specifically, for reasons that are at first unclear, and their reputation is locked at the lowest possible value. Throughout their campaign, they sometimes dream before the save screen appears, showing you snapshots of their past. The first two dreams show them caring for a pair of pups. The third dream shows them passing by a Scavenger toll, where one of the pups attempts to steal a pearl. The fourth shows them running for their life and being forced to leave one pup behind, presumably to be killed, before the ground begins to shake as the rain comes. The fifth shows their second pup's death--drowning in a pool of water as they attempt to flee. All dreams after that show them killing Scavengers.
Five Pebbles is unusually kind to them, due to both the Citizen ID Drone they carry and the fact that they share a common enemy. A Scavenger pack has made its home in Pebbles' formerly-abandoned city, and he tasks the Artificer with destroying them, as they have been damaging the top of his can.
In this city (Metropolis), the Artificer can speak to an Echo, Twelve Beads among Burning Skies, who tells them the following:
"You are stuck in a cycle of wrath and destruction, simple being. Gripped by raw emotions whose chains bind you, destined to this land. Shortcomings of the past haunt one and all like whispering phantoms. Listen. Let this be a warning to you… An unrewarding battle awaits, culminating in a path of no return. A perpetuity of struggles begetting more of the same. Find a way out, if you still can."
Eventually, the Artificer (when following the game's usual route) finds their way to the Twelfth Council Pillar; The House of Braids, where they face off against the scavengers' chieftain. Upon defeating them and taking their mask, they are permanently locked at Karma One, which is believed to represent wrath and violence due to clues in-game. If they visit TBaBS after this, they say:
"You, who have encountered a consequence much like my own. Gripped by raw emotions whose chains bind you, destined to this land. Shortcomings of the past haunt one and all like whispering phantoms. An unrewarding battle awaits, culminating in a path of no return. A perpetuity of struggles begetting more of the same. We are a pair who have forfeited everything."
Alternately, the Artificer can seek ascension, however their wrath prevents them from ascending fully, and they are only briefly reunited with their pups before meeting an unknown fate.
tl;dr: local sapient slug's kids die and they commit warcrimes about it
oh yeah also they're the only* slugcat with the ability to maul so that's something
*enot can technically do it also but we don't talk about them in this household"

To people saying Chloe and Lila would be hated if they werent white, as a POC woman I can say this. No. They’d still get people stanning them purely for skin color. Because in the minds of some people, if any writes a POC as anything other than a pure innocent angel they are RACIST.
Why do people like defending rotten wicked characters so much to the point of staning or excusing those character's evil actions and behavior ?
I know that nuanced villains are trendy right now, the kind of antagonist whose evil stems from a traumatic past, or whose intentions are noble but their methods immorals. And it's true that the writing of those kinds of characters is captivating to follow it's well written.
But sometimes, a character that is inherently evil in nature without any valid reason is also entertaining to follow. Lots of Disney villains for example, like Jafar, Scar, the first version of Maleficient, Dr Facilier, Frollo, Mother Gothel, etc... really embody a form of pure evil with no undertone of good in them, and yet we love them anyway without making excuses for their bad deeds all the time
Even if Chloe's behavior can be explained by having an abusive mother, Chloe is a character who, between seasons 4 and 5, embraced his evil nature and joy in hurting others.
She still had a chance to change and follow the right path between seasons 2 and 3, but between heroism and evil, Chloe has chosen evil, because deep down her selfishness and her ego are the dominant aspects of her personality.
In Chloe's head since being a hero didn't get her what she wanted, she would get it by becoming a villain, from then on Chloe is an antagonist, and we should appreciate her as such instead of trying to pass her off as the misunderstood anti-heroine that she is not
And wathever Lila's past is, she's going to far for her actions to be justified or easilly forgiven.
Lila is literally willing to help a dangerous villain terrorizing all of Paris and willing to help him endanger people just to get her petty revenge against those who barelly offended her. the one who could eventually truly warrant her hatred is Gabriel after Revelation, and yet
SPOILERS WARNING
It seems Lila will only content herself with seizing all of Gabriel's secrets and stealing his miraculous, while Marinette was once again be the victim and the scapegoat of Lila's rage and frustration in Revelation and Confrontation.
And not just Marinette, in Confrontation, Lila's plan involves also ruining the academic, even professional future of her classmates who have always been kind to her, and believed and supported her all this time. And yet she still planned to stab them like that just to put it all on Marinette's ? Or whas it because Lila actually takes a liking to the idea of ruining innocent people's life. What can possibly justify such a despicable act? I tell you : NOTHING !!!
And finally, Lila isn't an harmless con artist, she is one fooling many women into thinking she is their daugther (which is emotionally abusive and neglectfull to those poor women), and attending two school at the same times under two different identities (thus excessively abusing the trust of her classmates, teachers and school mates). This is going to far just to get attention and affection
END OF SPOILER WARNING
Lila just seems to really craves the same thing that Chloé herself enjoys, crushing people's dreams and lives just because she can
From a moral point of view, Marinette absolutely does not deserve all the shit Lila inflicts on her, the hatred that Lila feels towards the two alter egos of Maribug is more gratuitous than justified. It is not just about a girl that Lila sees as a threat because she knows hier lies, Lila actually seems to be acting out of pure envy, jealousy, and desire to hurt when Marinette is concerned.
No matter what Lila's past and true attentions are, it doesn't justify nor excuse the real harm she does around her, and the same applies to Chloé as well. Because before they got exposed, Lila and Chloé weren't alone, they had people who guenuinly loved them and cared for them, they could have stopped and satisfied themselves with what they already had, which was already a lot. But they didn't.
Lila and Chloé don't necessarily want love nor affection that much, what they crave the most fame, popularity, attention and power more than anything else, and they are willing to do everything to get what they want, they are willing to become villains and hurt people for that. Character like that are not misunderstood victims, they are real bad and toxic people that you wouldn't want to forgive if you were victim of their worst misdeeds

I keep seeing this guy brought up as some kind of contemporary folk hero, and it's fucking gross.
Tumblr media
Marvin Heemeyer, the killdozer guy was a petty, libertarian, asshole, who gave zero fucks if his homemade tank killed people. Do not believe the goddamn internet fanboys who say he only targeted property and empty buildings. He could've murdered god- knows how many if the city hadn't evacuated most of the town once he started ramming buildings and shooting at the police.
Heemeyer was a fairly successful business owner who bought cheap land for his muffler shop, then tried to get sweeter and sweeter deals when the people he bought it from wanted to buy it back to built an enclosed concrete batch plant. The buyers agreed to accept his price even as he jacked it up at every stage. They offered him a land swap at one point for property closer to the interstate, but he kept demanding additional improvements so the deal fell apart. At that point he spread rumors about the plant to gin up support to torpedo their building permits, purely out of spite. Once the town learned of his agenda they stopped supporting him.
Also worth mentioning that this entire time he had been illegally dumping raw sewage into irrigation ditches, contaminating the town's groundwater because his business didn't have any sewer lines. The city explained how he could go about linking up to nearby lines but he didn't want to pay. He was offered free assistance by city officials on multiple occasions and rejected it. Instead he turned the buried barrel of an old concrete truck into an improvised septic tank and pumped it into said ditches when it rained.
His business was never threatened, but he did harbor a number of insane grudges because he was a fucking crank. So he bought the bulldozer, loaded it up with guns and armor and drove out with a hit list of his personal enemies, which included the catholic church because he just flat hated catholics.
He shot at the police repeatedly, as well as the people who rolled out their own heavy construction equipment to try and stop this bizarre death-tantrum. He plowed into a library with children inside. He also attempted to use the guns he had on board to detonate a giant propane storage tank that could've killed hundreds of people. He demolished buildings that as far as he knew were still occupied. Then he got stuck in a hole and killed himself rather than face the consequences of his bullshit.
The legends of him being a good man pushed too far are horseshit. He simply didn't think laws should apply to him. Marvin Heemeyer was an asshole. He was an avatar of entitled white male rage and I will post as such whenever he's mentioned forever.

Aradia Leijon - Bard of Time
Despite her Olive Blood origins, Aradia is not much of a hunter at all, preffering to pry on already dead bodies since she isn't much of a fighter. Over time this kind of arised a facination with death and the hunt, watching various other hunters do their job with glee and admiration. And while she might not be a hunter herself she definitely is not incapable by any sense of the word. Knowing just the way on how to confuse or annoy whoever may be chasing her down out of a battle. And she will talk about her strategies from doing so with the most enthusiasm imaginable.
Gamzee Maryam - Prince of Rage
Being known to be one of the chillest guys around, Gamzee is one of the most well liked people around. Often doing his job of taking care of grubs the best he can, and he doesn't take lightly to people insulting or demeaning it. He has an excelent sense of humor and often likes to share it with the grubs he takes care of and also his closest of friends, finding it to be one of if not his best traits. He also tends to act as a little bit of a peacemaker in the group, not liking it when the group is tore appart for what he deems as petty grudges or rough patches. He might not be very aware that what works with the little ones won't always also work with his friends, though.
Feferi Pyrope - Knight or Life
While she might be a Teal Blood, Feferi always despised the concept of culling with all of her soul, thinking it to be a corrupt and more than just a little harmful system, especially since people cannot control whatever blood color or mutation they are born with. And while she might not be of the highest position she will try her darnest to make a difference even if its bit by bit. Although she might not realize that more often than not, her own experiences as a Teal Blood tend to blind her to the smaller problems that those below her in the hemospectrum face, she is a work in progress.
Karkat Serket - Witch of Blood
Due to his lack of physical prowress and hard to take serious personality Karkat is often underestimated. However those people are completely mistaken to rule out Karkat's ability to use his abilities as he has very strong mental powers that he will often use to tilt situacions in his favor, and while his strategizing is more than definitely a work in progress it can definitely help him from time to time. He will show them all that they are doing wrong by underestimating the name of Karkat Serket! Let's just hope that his little revenge quest in the name to gain respect from his colleagues doesn't bring him down the wrong path.
OOOOO RAD AS HELL also we love a scavenger lady fr fr

Hazbin Hotel thoughts : Foils 5
Masterpost here
Been a little while, I got myself into some RP for the first time ever. Managed to burn Lucifer's tower down on the first day while being a litteral little gremlin from the dumpsters. That sums it up pretty well.
Oh, and it's the first time I've RP-ed ever.
Anyway, for your inane Foils rambling of the day, my dumb brain cooked up a weird one : Adam (and Exorcists) VS Hell. Obvious, I know, but let's get more into depth about it, shall we ?
So to call Adam an obnoxious psychotic fratbro with all the emotional development of a bratty toddler would be kind of an understatement. Which in itself is an understatement too, to Inception levels. Adam is the First Man, one of the two oldest existing humans alive, turned angel to everyone's bafflement as the very first human soul in Heaven, and given the mystery that looms in the background of the show, it's yet to be seen just how in the bloody world he managed that. From the beginning, he's someone trying to impose his will on someone else, in his case Lilith, who made the utterly sacrilegious decision to stand up for herself and be an independent, emancipated person with boundaries to respect. I know, right ? Crazy.
And given how he reacts to Lucifer's taunting (if this short king really did score the two, it'll be hilarious), Golden KFC-man is tryharding to compensate. But he's also endearing in his brattiness, in his own way, leaning into it so heavily he'd topple Pisa, that he crosses back into funny, despite the genocidal tendencies (which for their part are played for all the horror necessary). And this... is kinda reminiscent of Hell in the show : it's a sordid, horrible place, but a good bucket of dark laughs are derived from it because of how horrible it is. Adam even admits to Charlie that he "likes the vibe", but prides himself on being in Heaven when he clearly didn't deserved any of it.
His own physical appearance, past the gold-blue-white color palette, has horns and shark teeth for the helmet, spikes for the rocker imagery - that, in passing, is often associated with demons and Hell too - and his color scheme dives down to dark blue in the last episode, when ready for battle. While he does look like the most average human ever underneath, it's quite interesting to see that Adam with a color swap and changing nothing else would fit right at home in Hell. Same thing for the Exorcists when in uniform : monochrome, outright more creepy looking than most demons, they actually look like classic demons (minus the tails) unlike the creative diversity of physionomies in Hell, that Heaven mirrors with its own twist on it.
It's kinda like watching a clichéd stereotype costume versus the real thing : Heaven is so out of touch with what's going on below that the Exorcists end up being a mockery of what they mass-hunt, for extra petty points (kinda reminds of what Native Americans went through. Yep. Not a happy thought). And they are just as bloodthirsty, if not more, than the demons themselves (giving you a hard sideglance, Lute), to the point of fanaticism - something that could actually be seen in HELL. Let's repeat, this is their whole activity that shows up once per year, and let's speculate that they do some training, but outside of that ? Plus, they're so confident in themselves that their fighting tactic looks more like "stick weapon into demon and move onto the next" than anything advanced, and didn't see it coming that their own weapons can perma-disconnect them from god's Wi-fi. This is suicidal overconfidence right there - again, something better seen in Hell.
Which makes it very interesting if you put Adam VS Charlie from a virtues and sins point of view : Charlie the Hellborn demon, daughter of Lucifer (who is the embodiment of a Sin himself, namely Pride), checks all virtues while Adam checks all capital sins :
He's wrathful and a revenge-seeker, hating being dismissed or put into question (seething with rage when Charlie and Emily call him indirectly out on his behavior, along Lute), while she's kind and patient, only calling onto anger in rightful situations.
He's often seen stuffing his face with food (ribs) and drinks on various photos and in person, and has a noticeable gut - something Lucifer remarks on that he "kinda let himself go". Charlie is all down for a good drink after a hard day of work, and while Husk mentions that she can get drunk to the point of spouting insecurities, it doesn't happen often and she knows that overindulging is bad. She also makes efforts to get rid of Angel's stash of drugs.
Talking about Adam's libido would be like trying to barge into open doors : he jumps on whoever he wants and even throws a tantrum when someone has no interest in him, like a certain "Virtue chick". He constantly makes crass remarks, finds Charlie and Vaggie's relationship "hot as fuck though" and basically his moral compass has a dick-shaped arrow. Charlie practices temperance and advocates the healthier parts of chastity, since losing oneself into lust isn't a good thing in the long run, but she also seems to lead a happy intimate life with her girlfriend.
The lust thing also ties about Adam's envy issues : Lucifer literally out bow-chicka-wow-wowed him, his first wife left, and Adam is overcompensating hard, pun unintended. Whatever others have or do, he'll want better or do better. He's in for his own comfort and fun, and whenever there's a threat of something better he doesn't have, he wants it. He HAS to be on top, or else the world might as well stop functioning, and is seen seeking Sera's approval. He'll try to sabotage everything out of pettiness, just like he outed Vaggie's true identity to Charlie, because the latter pointed out the truth. Charlie, on her side, is selfless, generous and genuinely wanting to help out, no matter the sometimes litteral cost. She took in Angel and Pentious, offered them a chance to be better, and doesn't resent them for their faults. For someone born as a Princess, she'd rather be addressed as a commoner and hates using her title to force things ("But that's so meaaaan !").
Adam is a selfish bastard that's all take and no give, hinted at his first rejection with Lilith. He thinks that, as the First Man, he's entitled to everything and should be given whatever he wants immediately. Charlie is very much the opposite, even being a bit too much give and almost no take.
Laziness ? Well, goes right in hand with letting himself go. Outside of the Exterminations, he barely does anything, and when he does, he makes it all about him. He's sitting on his own laurels due to the "achievement" of being the first human soul in Heaven, and hasn't bothered adapting his behavior any bit since. Charlie on her own side is diligent, committing to her wishes and dreams to save Sinners and redempt them that she's literally outside during (or right after) an Extermination, as seen when she meets Vaggie. She's also no stranger to pulling all-nighters and go through whole boards of plans to make it work.
And finally, pride. Oh boy saying that Adam is prideful is like stating that the universe is big. His first meeting with Charlie should tell you all you need to know. He's self-entitled, a pure breed of absolute self-centered jackass, and needs to have the spotlight on him or else he'll combust. Something not going his way, as seen when he gets his "original ass" trounced by Lucifer ? He goes for a balls-out tantrum, saying that people should worship him since "all of humanity came from these fucking nuts !" Compare Charlie who's too meek to truly put her foot down when only for herself (for friends she'll do it just fine) and hates to use her status as Princess of Hell. Whenever she gains confidence, it's never in a self-centered way : Ready For This has her asking "if you'll permit me" to others for the leader role, wanting to face the threat together with her army, on equal grounds. Even against Adam she's holding back (as hinted when tapping into more power when stopping him from landing a sneak attack on her dad), and is never bragging about her abilities.
So, in the end, what do we have ? A very flawed First Man (who is an outright villain) looking very close to a demon, versus a way more humane actual demon Princess. Which raises the question : what makes a bad person, and a good person ? As seen with Helluva Boss, so far outside of Mammon all of the seen Sins are very decent people that do indulge in vice, but know the limits and only do it with the ones that can handle it : Beelzebub encourages overindulgence and gluttony for its own sake, not escapism or self-destruction. Asmodeus is very vocally against forced lust, and under the façade also doesn't mind romance. Lucifer himself is very creative and has done astounishing feats, flaunting his power in Hell's Greatest Dad, but while he's low on self-worth and confidence after millenia of seeing only the worst, also teaches his daughter to stand up for herself ("You don't take shit from other demons.") AND is willing to use said power to help.
Bottom line : they don't harm others with it. And, ain't that kinda the whole thing ? Adam literally slaughter ex-humans, his own kind, out of twisted amusement, and hurts everyone around him to come out on top. Charlie is mindful and willing to help, while not forgetting herself in the process (more or less). Adam is clearly going overboard on all his vices while Charlie, who does have some too (drinking to the point of being actually drunk), is more balanced.
What makes one a jackass ? BEING a jackass. Nothing else.
Welp, this one is kinda the odd one out, dunno if I'll have more like that one but I hope you had fun.
Again, Masterpost here.

For the OTP meme, may I have all of them XD Just kidding. I've managed to narrow it down to 3, 4 (this could go both ways and I'd love your thoughts.) 48 and 51 if you want to pick from any of those! 57 is also hilarious. I can just visualize what could happen with those two shopping together.
Oh, that is A LOT of interesting questions! Let's see what I can pull out!
3. Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)
They do, but not on purpose, so to say. There was that one time where they both were VERY late to their respective occupation and it happened that Squalo arrived in front of the Varia with Dino's coat and he had to do the walk of shame towards the coat hangers, whilst Dino had to explain a very distressed Tsuna why he was wearing Squalo's coat and he had to basically be like "oh haha silly me!"
Or that other time where they got nearly caught together by Reborn and they had to dress up REAL FAST and stuff got mixed up. Like the t-shirts. Squalo "I only wear plain basic t-shirts" Superbi had to live with the fact that he was wearing Dino "if it's not printed possibly in metal music fashion it's not worth wearing" Cavallone's t-shirt.
There are plenty of occasions like that, HOWEVER, there was one single time where they switched clothes on purpose and it was to exact petty revenge against Reborn, who has the habit of just being everywhere at all times, especially the most inconvenient ones.
Not the most comfortable thing, Dino is used to baggy clothes, whilst Squalo wears a lot of tight-fitting clothes. I will let you imagine how it went, about as smooth as a cactus.
4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?
It kind of depends? For both of them the concept of "protection" is such a broad one and it can mean different things. TBF Squalo has "protected" Dino a lot from bullies, mean people in general, people who meant harm. I am fairly sure Squalo acted as the scapegoat whenever Xanxus meant harm to Dino.
Or Dino has "protected" Squalo from like things going wrong - am I maybe thinking Dino crying and begging the CEDEF to let him save3 Squalo from certain death after the Rain battle? Maybe so. Look, there was no reason for Dino to save Squalo and I am still thinking that the "it's gonna be trouble for the Vongola" excuse was a bullshit one so.
There is a lot of "unsaid" and a lot of "shown", these two idiots are a mess. They can't communicate ever, but they do understand each other very well and that is probably why it's "protection" in a lot of ways. If that makes sense
48. Who’s the better driver?
Surprisingly Dino. Squalo has a lot of "road rage", full insults and middle fingers and several fines on his name. Look, the man is STRESSED and the fact that he has to harness the entirety of the Varia is not helping!
Dino, on the other hand, was taught by Romario how to drive properly, and Romario is the most patient person in the universe. He taught Dino how to deal diplomatically with the assholes. Dino is a role model citizen on the streets.
57. Whose the serious one when grocery shopping and who likes to toss random things in the cart?
Look. Listen.
We are talking about Dino "I like shiny things" Cavallone and Squalo "I am gonna get a good grade in grocery shopping which is both possible and normal to achieve" Superbi.
Squalo has a list and "Dino, if you fucking add that cereals box I am going to kill you!", whilst Dino is "but I am gonna eat cereals!"
S: Since fucking WHEN?? Last time you FORGOT and we had to THROW THE WHOLE BOX AWAY!
D: But THIS TIME IT'S GONNA BE DIFFERENT!
Listen, Squalo and Dino to me and my neurodivergent heart are the Autism to ADHD communication, no one wants to go with them to do any grocery shopping.
Squalo will present an entire spreadsheet with exact times of leaving, arrival, a dtailed list, what snacks they are gonna get afterwards and at what time, whilst Dino will show up two minutes before leaving with a "oh, are we leaving? Are we going somewhere?"
It's a mess.

Yo, I didn't expect the game to mention my boy Hoar in any capacity
Imagine my surprise when it did:
Tumblr media
Naturally, that tiny cameo means it's legit for me to shamelessly spam headcanons on Jerra's possible connection to Hoar.
Of course, I had to choose the most cringe edgelord/most edgy cringelord among the Forgotten Realms pantheon that is Hoar, the Doombringer, and the Poet of Justice. I’m not even joking here: Hoar is an angry petty bitch who sits in his edgy domain with booming thunders and heads on pikes while being salty about not getting a god of war portfolio in Unther. Like, this is meme is not a meme in Hoar's case, this how he probably talks:
youtube
Needless to say, Hoar's followers are just as cringe, brooding in their temples, remembering their grievances and planning their revenge. On top of that, he is the former exarch of Bane and the buddy of Beshaba (the goddess of misfortune and bad luck who ruins people's lives for the most insignificant of reasons).
So, Jerra is certainly not his faithful follower or loyal paladin. If she was, let's just say Astarion would not have gotten away with pulling a knife on her that easily. Also, him trying to bite her at night? Hoar would be pissed off at Jerra telling Astarion off and then letting him sink his fangs into her anyway. As a good devout, Jerra would be expected to bite the vampire's neck in return because Hoar's direct dogma is all about following Equally Matched Aggression standards to an extreme.
But in a world where everyone is influenced by deities and follows some (because the alternative is the Wall of the Faithless and you do NOT want to be condemned to the Wall) Jerra praying and leaving offerings to the Poet of Justice still makes sense, both in the context of her actions and even her acceptance of Astarion.
+ His tenets are actually pretty based. Violence begets violence, but kindness is repaid with kindness. Treat people like you want to be treated, don't commit evil acts for the sake of evil because this path leads to ruin and self-destruction. Meaningful gestures and actions matter more than words.
+ There are several different churches of Hoar scattered across Faerun, each squabbling over who understands Hoar best. So, there is a lot of in-fighting going on, which gives plausibility to the idea of more watered-down followers just minding their own business and keeping away from more intense brothers and sisters in Hoar.
+ Hoar is not that worried about looking righteous or valorous. It’s the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law, that must be upheld. So, it’s not about you looking good when you deliver the vengeance the person deserves. It’s about sending a message. Accordingly, poetic justice is encouraged. Yes, killing the duergar who enslaved a Deep Gnome and made him serve them drinks is good. But lacing the drinks he serves with deadly poison, so the slavers die vomiting their own blood and guts after smugly grabbing mugs from their captive's hands and laughing in his face? Wonderful. Priceless. Deserved.
+ Probably most important: Hoar doesn't mind the undead. At least, he doesn't seem to abhor them like Tyr or other gods of goodness, and his clergy has a rather interesting approach to the undead and necromancy. The dead deserve to be heard and avenged just like the living. Doombringers (the elite battle priests of Hoar) can raise the corpses of victims who died with the wish for vengeance on their lips as revenants - nothing is better than beating a murderer or a serial killer to death with the crowd of raging revenants who lost their lives because of them. Also, if a Doombringer is killed unfairly, they, too, rise as a revenant as a final "fuck you" to their murderer. But Hoar's tolerance for the undead doesn't stop there. The lore even mentions a vampire follower of Hoar (on the bad guys' side, but still). So, even if Jerra merely follows the diluted image of Hoar shaped by her mentor, she is used to speaking with the dead and didn't bat an eye at He Who Was when she first met him. Accordingly, it was relatively easier for her to think outside the box with Astarion and judge him through the prism of his deeds instead of his nature. Her philosophy is less about "there are inherently evil creatures that are KOS and inherently good creatures that deserve multiple second chances" and more about "there are many evil things in the world, lots of them are less obvious than the others"
In general, I don't think that Jerra draws her paladin powers from Hoar. Even though she ends up with several huge grudges against the Absolute, Raphael (when she promised to rip out his mocking tongue, it wasn't an empty threat), and the Emperor (oh she does NOT like the Emperor), she is still way too forgiving and patient to be a full-blown Hoarite. She pays her respects, certainly: her mentor followed the Poet of Justice, which was why they even met - all the time while the Flaming Fist and City Watch, the seemingly dedicated followers of Tyr and Helm, looked the other way. But her Oath was to herself, first and foremost.
However, if Hoar was more chill, I would have headcanonned that Jerra draws powers from his domain, which confused him greatly when it happened for the first time, but then he decided to allow it in a "Listen, if this mortal is so dedicated to her idea of vengeance, she raged her way into my domain, this is going to be good" way.

I’m thinking about how Alice is Shin if he got a redemption arc in the logic route.
Much like Shin, Alice is a loner. He’s often by himself, and he doesn’t have many close allies. The one person he care’s about is his sister, and he love’s her more than anything in the world.
This sound’s similar to our beanie wearing antagonist for a reason. Shin and Alice parallel each other in many ways. They both have a direct connection to Sou, and they’re both the most untrusted of the group. Both men distrust Sara in the first main game, and want to come off as logical despite being emotional.
However, they do have a big difference. That’s their reaction to grief, and how it shape’s their character moving forward.
More Undercut
When Kanna dies, Shin is vengeful. His connection with the group is forever changed, and any hopes of reconciling with Sara goes out the window. He can’t move past what happened, and he carries his grief with him. This is a defining character trait for him, as he also wears his dead friend’s scarf.
But then there’s Alice. Alice is furious about Reko’s death, but he doesn’t take that anger out on the group. Instead, he focus’s his rage onto the floormasters. He attack’s Rio and Gashu, and clearly wants to take revenge against ASU-NARO. While Shin points his hatred toward Sara, Alice points it towards the kidnaper's.
Because of where he place’s his anger, he can bond with the group. He show’s clear relief at saving Gin in the banquet, and tries to help Keiji clear the rubble so they can escape. He share’s his grief with Nao, and watches over Kanna at Keiji’s request. With Reko gone, Alice isn’t the same loner as he was before. He becomes close to everyone, and make’s genuine friendship's.
Shin pulls away from everyone. He still cares for Gin, but he treat’s Sara and Keiji coldly. He often does small petty things, like proclaiming he has no allies, or riding the opposite elevator as Sara. While these things aren’t big deals, they the tip of the ice berg to a bigger issue. Which is that Shin is alone.
While Shin simmers in his hatred, Alice learns to care for other’s again. While Shin pulls away, Alice come’s closer. He’s what Shin could be if he didn’t let his hatred infect him.
I also think Shin is a dark mirror to Alice. In all fairness, Reko and Kanna die in different circumstance’s. Sara didn’t know Reko would die, but she knew Kanna would. If Alice had lost his sister in a similar cruel way, he could easily be who Shin is at present. Except, he would likely be more efficient, as he has a 6.6 for a reason. And I can’t believe he’d he’d abandon Reko to live, meaning the time’s he won she was most likely already dead.
Kind of went of topic at the end there, but man are these two characters I like comparing to each other.

It’s been mostly the bad/deadline kinda busy, and still is, but I’m actively ignoring that now to procrastinate and revel in the world that you’ve created.
I love Hob the enabler, and the idea of him having this petty revenge side of him that he doesn’t want Grace to see.
And I do love that Morpheus has the ‘I’m not human so can’t be held to human standards of morality’ card to play (within reason).
I alllmost feel sorry for Dr Ward if that’s the nightmare he’s getting though. That is one of the worst!
Omg thank you for indulging the brain rot and expanding on that scenario so much more!
I have many thoughts!!! (Sorry!).
1. Grace’s ring…
- what does it look like?
- Is she engaged or married here?
- Is it her ring from Hob?
- Does she have one from Morpheus? If so what does that look like and does she wear both?
- If not, is it a ring from both Hob and Morpheus?
- Do they have rings? What do they look like?
2. How does that convo go down when the thugs ask for her ring? Who swings the first punch?
3. Morpheus’ arrival. When I was daydreaming about this I was trying to figure out which would be hotter or more terrifying:
A) the looming, shadowy slightly inhuman version of Morpheus, pale and starry eyed.
B) the icy cold rage of his human form (as in the Calliope episode. Picturing the thugs seeing Morpheus, thinking he’s just a skinny goth and no threat, then seeing shadows coming from him one by one and their co-thugs go down writhing in unconscious terror.
4. Even though Morpheus can’t hurt mortals in the waking world, do you think he’ be above asking Hob to lay the boot in a bit, or letting Hob do a bit of violence on his behalf?
5. *knocks on trash dumpster lid* Yesss, the fussing over bleeding knuckles. Little kisses on each knuckle. The super possessive, don’t touch what’s mine sex. *chef kiss* perfection!
Also, on an unrelated note, I loved the comic you posted of Matthew and Crawley in the cones of shame!
Glad to hear you’re doing well! Sending you all of the ‘you can do it!’ vibes!
Oh, I feel you, I am the worst procrastinator until I panic and finish everything in one very stressed out burst!
I am always happy to receive more thoughts!! I’m jumping to 2 because I’m going to put 1 under the cut (is it spoilers if it’s for a fic? I love spoilers myself but I know not everyone does so that one will be hidden, just in case).
Hob absolutely swings first. He wants the element of surprise and he’s got it. He doesn’t look like the kind of guy who doesn’t have any problem holding his own in a fight. Sure, he’s in good shape, but nothing about him screams “scrapper” in 2023. He’s wearing a nice jacket for their date night and he probably has his very professorial glasses on because Grace likes them, so him throwing the first punch? Very much unexpected, and to his advantage.
Both are such good options! There’s this cold emanating rage that Morpheus can give off that’s just SO highly effective in any form, but I’m just such a sucker for ever so slightly inhuman Morpheus. He’s human shaped…mostly, but when they look right at him, it’s like the edges of him forgot what a human looks like, and his shadow just keeps growing and writhing on the pavement, extending out in all directions until it covers the entire alleyway in something darker than night before the screaming starts. And he doesn’t even have to lay a finger on them!
Morpheus is not above it at all, not when it makes Hob so very happy to be useful for him. Hob wants to be loyal and he wants to prove that loyalty, and if he can do that by the laying on of hands? Sign him right up. He would fight for Morpheus in a heartbeat. Human enemies, challengers to his realm, the hoards of Hell, Hob wants to get his hands dirty where Morpheus can’t, and Morpheus will gladly watch.
Yes yes yes! Kissing each knuckle and the little bit of blood that lingers on the lips after? Immediately yes. Bandaging up after? Perfection. The physical reminder for a few days afterwards? So good. In a completely alternate scenario, I have so many thoughts about Hob bare-knuckle boxing, historically.
It was so cute!! I love Matthew so much, he’s so much fun, and so indignant about the cone of shame (which was very much deserved).
Thank you for the vibes!!! We’re chugging along!
Now, for possible spoilers:
This is great, because there will be instances of the rings in the two epilogue chapters, but to avoid over burdening the fic with too much ring description (which may already be happening, I can talk about it here!
By the time I envision this scenario happening (post fic), they’re all married. Grace has three rings, Hob has two, and Morpheus has one.
Grace has:
- her engagement ring from Hob, an antique gold fede ring, worn on her left hand
- her wedding band, also gold, worn on her left hand and stacked with her engagement ring
- her ring from Morpheus, gold with an oval cut (non dreamstone) ruby, worn on her right hand
Hob has:
- his wedding band, gold, worn on his left hand
- his ring from Morpheus, fairly simple, gold band with an inlaid very slender square cut (non dreamstone) ruby, worn on his right hand
Morpheus has:
- his wedding band which he probably ends up manifesting more often than not, also gold
Hob would have absolutely gotten Morpheus an additional ring, but it’s so hard to find something for a being who can manifest anything he wants. All of their wedding rings match, though, they’re part of a nice matched set of three.

This doesn't take place in my au
This, however, will be smut
Slight non con, but to be fair, William is pushing it, and he didn't realize what Henry is capable of
This is an au, and there might be a supernatural twist
Also Henry will forever be a soft man because he's strong enough to be kind
Apparently there's plot too
It had barely been a week since his daughter's body was found. His own creation was wrapped around her as if it were trying to save her. Henry took a breath and wiped his red eyes. He was tired of crying and wanted to wrap his hands around whoevers neck took his daughter.
Henry sighs, rubbing his face as he leans back in his chair. His nerves were frayed to hell and back, and he could barely contain his emotions he tried to so hard to keep inside. He had to get a handle on himself he was in their shared workshop, and he knew William would be checking on him any moment.
"Oh Henry?" A familiar British accent barely got Henry to relax enough to put on the face of a mourning father rather than a man fueled by red hot rage.
"William." Henry sighs, the taller man has been quite clingy since the news broke, and he couldn't tell if it was out of him trying to comfort him or he was hiding something. "I told you I just need to work."
"You're pushing yourself too hard, Henry. You just lost your daughter. You should be at home mourning, the funeral was yesterday." William smiles like a snake who just got his prey.
Henry barely pays him no mind, not even sparing a glance. "William, I need to take my mind off of that. Let me get back to work."
"Henry, you haven't even started on this blank piece of paper. Come now, let me take you somewhere to relax." William reaches out and touches his friend's shoulder. He doesn't let it show on his face, but the heat radiating from the shorter man was too much even from a man with a fever. "You feel feverish Henry you have to take care of yourself."
Henry grits his teeth and shuts his eyes. "William, I'm warning you. I want to be left alone."
William now had both his hands on Henry's shoulders. "Now Henry, I'm only trying to keep your health in mind. Now come o-" he freezes as Henry turns and snatches his hand in an iron grip.
"I said enough." Henry's voice got an octave lower, and a whisper of an accent he was hiding comes to light. Something seemed to click, and William could swear he saw something glow behind his friend's amber eyes. His grip only got tighter. "You son of a bitch."
"Henry, what's with that tone?" He barely gets out as his friends grip gets tighter to the point it was painful. "H-hey relax. I'm only trying to help." William freezes the smell of smoke came out of nowhere, and he finally looks at his friend in the eyes again, and they went black with red pupils. "H-henry?"
Henry breaks the chair, yanking William closer. "You're the one who killed her. You killed her for what? Something I slighted you with? A petty act of revenge? Or were you just jealous?" He gives a heavy sigh and smoke pours from his lips. "I should break you where you stand."
William felt something he hadn't felt since he was young, and his father came home in a bad mood, fear. "Henry, I did it for us." He choked out. Why couldn't he lie? That isn't what he wanted to say.
"For us?" Henry's free hand wrapped around William's neck. "For us! William you fucking..." He throws the taller man to the floor. Every breath he took, let out smoke that curled around him. "Charlie was my baby girl, and you thought killing her was for us?" A deep growl tore from his throat.
William barely sits up from the throw when a clawed hand grabs his shirt, pulling him up. "Henry, please, I love you. Now, there isn't anything stopping us." He yelps as he feels a burn around his neck as Henry returns his grip around it. "He-Henry, please, I just wanted..."
"You're getting exactly what you want." Henry growls. He didn't exactly know what he was doing, but it felt right. He pulls William up to stand and removes his hand. A mark was burned into his neck. It was his mark. William was his to do with as he pleased. He watched Williams' eye roll back as he fainted.
......
William woke up tied to a bed in a room he recognized as Henry's guest room. His neck ached, and it had to be a dream. How could Henry know what he did? He must have been hallucinating. He had to be drugged.
The sound of the door opening alerted his gaze. That was Henry. He didn't look what he had seen before. "Henry? Can you untie me?"
Henry sighs and frowns. He looked down at William like he was a piece of meat. "Aren't you happy now? You got exactly what you wanted." He pours William a glass of water and pushes a sandwich over to the man. "Eat."
William's eyes widen as his body moves against his own control like he is a puppet as he finishes the food and drinks in front of him. "Henry?" He felt something twist inside of him, and shudders finally got back control. He wrapped his arms around him.
"Ma always wanted a boy, and she did anything she could to get one." Henry sighs, moving the dirty dishes away as he sits next to William. I may have acted rash." The sound of footsteps and a child's giggles went down the hall. "I should have known whatever happened would be passed down genetics and such, probably why Margaret died in childbirth." His gaze returns to William. "I took the liberty of taking in Micheal since your wife seemed so happy to get rid of him along with you."
William swallows. "What...?" He physically cannot speak when Henry presses a finger to his lips.
"I am not finished. You've been asleep for a week straight, William. I cleaned up after you. Everything has been taken care of from paperwork to the police. Now, you will act my partner, and you will be a better father to Micheal." He narrows his eyes. "You will treat my daughter with respect and care. You will be in my room for bed. We will continue to work as business partners and expand fredbears, understood?"
William nods unable to refuse.
"Good. You got what you wanted, now you must accept the Consenqueses of your actions. You may speak and do what you will today we are are off the diner is closed for renovations we will be working on tomorrow." Henry smiles and snaps, and the binding around William vanish. "Micheal has the guest room you should check on him."
William gets up against his own will and is already walking down the hall.
......
Something clicked, and he had full control of his body, but he didn't want to leave yet. "Micheal, what's that book?" Pointing to the old worn cover of a book that looks very out of place in an 11 year olds room.
"Uncle Henry gave it to me. I'm using it as a journal." Micheal shrugs, going back to his homework. "Uh..."
"What is it, Micheal?" William gets closer to his son. He's doing his math homework, and it seems he's having trouble.
"Do you know how to do this?" Micheal sighs. He's not exactly used to his father wanting to interact with him, let alone help him.
William nods. "Of course so..."
It took about an hour, but they got through the math homework, and then Micheal showed him his sketchbook. William was impressed. Sure, the sketches were rough, but there was potential. He didn't know Micheal had this talent. After that, Micheal left to play outside. He was boy after all and had the energy to burn.
William sighs. He had to figure out what was going on. What did Henry do to him if he did anything. Micheal did keep pointing out his neck, but in the mirror, he couldn't see anything. Something in him had changed, and he couldn't put his finger on what. He has never been this out of sorts before.
William has always had control over himself along with his darker urges unless it came to his friend. He never really cared about anything but Henry, but now he felt something for Micheal, like he wanted to protect him, and he didn't understand. It's like something was switched on in his head, and his logical mind was trying to process it.
William huffs, making his way to the living room where Henry is reading a book. Everything felt tilted, and he wanted answers.
"How is Micheal doing?" Henry glances at William with a look that hints he knows more than he lets on.
"I helped him with his homework." William drops himself on the couch next to Henry. "What did you do to me?"
Henry smiles, shutting his book, and adjusts his glasses. "I own you, William."
William feels where Micheal was pointing on his neck and started to burn. "W-what?" He holds his neck trying relieve the feeling.
"It's only fair. I merely did what you desired. Now you can't leave me ever." Henry smiles, leaning back into the couch. "Come now, did you think that was a dream? It wasn't."
William swallows, staring at Henry. "What did you do to me?" He asks again, and the burning had stopped.
"Everything comes with a price, William." Henry leans closer, grabbing William's collar. "Maybe next time you will use your words rather than a knife."
William shudders and feels something inside coil and burns with something he doesn't have the name for. "I think..." He swallows. "I..."
Henry smiles, letting go. "William, you're allowed to be yourself. However, I just added some things to help you be better." He pauses. "Now William, how about you do your own thing, I wouldn't want to ruin our short vacation from work."
William nods, hugging his chest. He didn't move from his spot. He didn't feel angry or upset he just felt confused, like the answer was in front of him, but it was out of focus, and he couldn't see it. He was happy he had Henry, but he was changing as a result, and he didn't understand it. It takes him a moment for him to speak again.
They fell into a quiet conversation about what William missed in the last week.
.....
William blinks. He must have made a wrong turn. This was Henry's room, and it was night. He shouldn't be here, nor should he be in his bed as much as he desired it. He seemed to have walked past the room a dozen more time until he grew frustrated. This was nonsense he was walking a straight line he can't keep ending up here.
William huffs, opening the door. Henry was in nothing but his boxers. His mouth went dry as he drank in the views, and he suddenly felt overdressed and overheated. His pants were tight, and everything felt like lightning on his skin. "H-henry?"
Henry chuckles. "Well, William, come inside." His voice dripped with a southern accent that made William's knees weak. "I might as well reward you for your first day of being a good father to Micheal. Now you're allowed to tell me if it's too much and to stop, understood?"
William nods as he shuts the door behind him. His shame grew in his pants as Henry continued to talk his voice was like honey. "I-i understand." This is what he desired. Why was he suddenly feeling so scared like he was prey.
Henry nods. "Good now, my little rabbit undress for me. I need relief, and I need to parse out your boundaries. I've never embraced this part of myself, so you're in for a treat."
William strips down till he's in nothing but his birthday suit. He swallows as he moves to the bed. He lays down, staring up at Henry. He was already hard and had precum dripping from his head, Henry hadn't even flinched he felt out of control, and it was intoxicating.
Henry snaps, and William sits up and moves back. "We are going to go slow. I've never been with a man before, so you will have to bear with me." He removes his own boxers and moves to sit in front of William. "You have what you want, now do as you please."
William's pupils seem blown like he was high. His body moves again without his restraint as he locks lips with Henry, his beard scratched along his face, and he purrs. He pulls himself into Henry's lap. He shudders and suddenly pushes away. "I- somethings wrong." He felt something drip from behind him. Something warm was coming out of him dripping, and his face went red. His body was different.
Henry held Williams chin and put a thumb over his lips. "Like I said, William. There's a price you paid for your desires." His amber eyes seemed to calm William where he sat back up. "Do you want me to look?"
William shakes his head, he felt like a nervous teenager during their first time. He slowly reaches down and feels the slick wetness coming from his ass, and he shudders he barely even touches himself, and it tugged on the pleasure points in his mind like strings on a guitar. His body started to get hot, and he whined.
Henry brushes the hair out of William's face. "You have to use your words. I can't read your mind."
"Sensitive, v-very sensitive." William pulls himself back onto Henry's lap. His face lit up red. "Touch me, I need you to touch me."
Henry goes slow, and the slick wetness coming from William worked just as well as lube. He easily puts one finger in, then a second to stretch him.
William mews in pleasure, and everything felt like a jolt to his senses in every perfect way. "He-Henry, please." He pulls Henry's hand out and pushes the other man's member into him. "Big."
"Greedy thing, aren't you." Henry hums. "What now my little rabbit?" He groans as William starts to bounce at a sloppy pace, but it keeps him quiet trying to contain his grunts and soft moans.
William shuts his eyes he can feel his own release building, this felt like a dream. It felt way too good to be real. He bit at Henry's lip and licked the blood he spilled. He trailed kisses down his partner neck as his pace became brutal. "Mmh Henry." He could feel Henry's hips buckle as they came together.
Henry groans panting. "William?"
"Yes?" William sighs satisfied.
"Move." Henry bites his lip as William pulls himself off. He takes a breath and gets off the bed, and then he picks up William.
William felt satisfied, and whatever came next, he would be fine with he got what he wanted. He didn't expect to be placed into a warm bath. "Huh?"
Henry had a soft look on his face as he slowly cleaned William up. "Don't act surprised." He sighs. "I'm not good at keeping up the cruel act. It's supposed to be my nature, but... I mostly lose myself to anger and well..." He frowns. "Well, you're experiencing that outcome."
William felt something different, he has never allowed himself to feel vulnerable before. He didn't think he was capable of having these emotions. It was overwhelming. He shuts his eyes and takes a breath. "Did you mess with my head?"
Henry frowns rubbing soap over William. "I didn't do that on purpose." He rests his hands in the warm water. "I don't exactly have good control over my inhuman nature."
William takes a breath. This would be difficult, but he wasn't mad. He didn't know what these new emotions were bubbling in his mind, but he could handle it. "What do you mean you didn't do it on purpose?"
Henry gives a sheepish smile. "So... I smelled Charlie's blood on you after you came into the workshop. I kind of snapped. I was already on edge and had poor control of myself." He sighs. "My ma, well, she wanted a boy more than anything and didn't want to risk another girl." He sighs again. "Do you know about the crossroads?"
William crosses his arms and gives an annoyed look to Henry. "I know how roads work, Henry." He felt somewhat normal as Henry cleaned him of the act they just preformed.
Henry shakes his head. "Not exactly what I'm talking about. There's a legend well, more like a warning about the crossroads. That's where you would go to make a deal. I know you aren't from America, and more importantly, from the American South, but you must know that you shouldn't make deals with the things at the crossroads." He sighs and dumps water on William's head and then combs his hair back with his hand. "My ma was not a good person, and I'm sure the creature at the crossroads feared her for her actions. My ma wanted a son, and in exchange, the creature took my mom's offering. She was pregnant with me right after the deal closed."
William frowns. "Everything has a price." Repeating what Henry has been saying.
Henry nods. "Yeah." His southern accent dissapears. "My sister was the one to truly raise me. I don't use that part of me unless I lose grip of my emotional control. I seem to have uh branded you." He pulls his hands back. "I don't know how to fix this, I uh Charlie well.... you didn't kill her. Genetics are something. She dug herself out of her grave."
"I'm sorry she what?" William stares at Henry.
"Yeah, I left that out when we talked before." Henry sighs. "I've been testing out my abilities, and uh, fixed things enough that nobody can recall she died here. Uh, I didn't do anything to Clara. When you didn't come home, she took Evan and Elizabeth and left. Micheal walked to my home."
William frowns he didn't like that feeling when he heard about Micheal. "I'm not surprised, but was Micheal ok?"
"He was hungry and pretty beat up. I fed him and got all his stuff from your home, and then I got your things. I have given him something from my biological father. That old notebook, uh, it should help him in the future. Well, I mean..." He sighs. "He won't be able to stay normal if he remains here, and before you say anything, it's for his safety."
William frowns but accepts that answer. "Help me out of here."
Henry nods. "Of course." He frowns. "I didn't mean to be so forceful. Are you ok? And I swear I didn't know your body had changed."
William sighs, holding onto Henry as he picks him up. "The commands..." He swallows, and he's trying to go through his mind that started to get sluggish from exhaustion. "The commands, I would like to make rules."
Henry nods, drying off the taller man. "I again don't really know how this works, but I'll do my best to be careful."
William nods and allows himself to be carried to bed. He's out cold before his head hits the pillow.
.....
It's been a few days since that incident, and both men forgot a holiday was happening and that the kids had off from school. Henry made William stay home with the two kids. That's where he was now. Micheal was pulling his hand.
"Micheal, please use your words. I will not have you drag me around." William sighs.
"Dad Charlie's bleeding." Micheal huffs.
"I can get you guys a bandage." William raised his brow. They both got cuts and scrapes all the time. A little blood didn't phase either of them. Not to mention the fact he stabbed Charlie and the little girl just forgave him because she got to play in the mud.
Micheal huffs. "Charlie can't put a bandage down there."
William pauses for a moment. "A bandaid down...oh." Panic was a new feeling William decided he hated. "Get Charlie, and we're going for a ride, ok?"
Micheal nods and runs to get Charlie.
The car ride was quiet as William took both to the store. "Ok, before we get out. I can answer questions."
"Why am I bleeding?" Charlie frowns. "Also, why am I sitting on a towel?"
William sighs. "Well, you're becoming a woman." He pauses as the two kids look at him puzzled. "Charlie, your body is changing, and what is happening is called Well uh a period." He's thankful Clara forced him to learn about this for Elizabeth. "Boys and girls have different parts, and uh, girls have a uterus, and that sheds its lining once a month, which can cause cramps and bleeding for 7 days at most."
"I can bleeding for 7 days without dying?" Charlie has a look of excitement.
"Yes." William sighs.
"Ha." Charlie giggles.
"No fair." Micheal sighs.
William took a breath. "So Charlie, we're going inside and getting pads. You can put them on your underwear so you don't bleed through and stain things."
Charlie nods. "If I get this because I'm a girl, what does Micheal get?"
"Yeah, do I get something cool?" Micheal nods.
William rubs his temples. "Your voice will get deeper, and your body will go through changes like getting more hair."
Micheal huffs. "That's so lame."
"Ha, I get to bleed." Charlie sticks her tongue out.
William takes a breath. "Ok, both of you out, we're going to get them, then Charlie will go put one on in the bathroom."
"Ok." Charlie smiles
"Still not fair." Micheal crosses his arms.
......
Henry got back, and the first thing he wanted to do was finally talk to William about the commands, they both had been dancing around the issue. He also had to ask him about his mood swings. He's normally so collected, maybe it had to do with him accidently messing around his head. He stops when his daughter runs up to him.
"Daddy, Daddy, guess what happened?" Charlie grins.
"Oh, what has you so excited today? Did you have a nice day off?" Henry smiles.
"I'm bleeding!" Charlie says with excitement.
Henry pauses and frowns. "Darling, are you ok?"
"Yeah, Uncle William told me I'm becoming a woman and that I get to bleed every month. I can bleed for days and not die. Isn't that cool?" Charlie looks up at Henry bouncing with excitement.
Henry nods. "That's very cool. Now how about we call your aunt and she can talk to you about it."
"Ok, sounds good." Charlie giggles and runs off.
Henry takes a breath and spots William in the living room reading a book. "William?"
William looked over. "Before you freak out, Clara made me read every book there was on it for Elizabeth. Also, women hate their periods, so why is she excited?"
Henry takes another breath and sits down. "William, why didn't you call Jen?"
"Because I don't like your sister." William huffs he hates being unable to lie when Henry is near him.
"That is an awful reason." Henry sighs. "Is she ok with everything?"
"She understands what she has to do and how to put on sanitary products. After we shopped I had to give the talk to both of them. Thankfully, Micheal is still in the girls are gross phase, and Charlie really doesn't seem to care about sex?" William shrugs. "Charlie seems more interested in playing in the dirt."
Henry sighs and covers his face. "Ok." William had been acting different he had more patience than before. He would have never taken the time to explain things to children or would have sat down to explain things to children, especially about puberty. He was still William, but the sharp edges were smoothing out, and it felt like a mask was pulled away.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" William frowns.
"We have to talk." Henry sighs. "After the kids go to bed."
......
"Henry, why can't I lie to you?" William bit is lip he can feel nervous, jitters buzz around his head. He didn't understand all these new feelings, he has never dealt with them before, and now it felt like a flood gate opened, and he had lost control of himself.
Henry pauses, sitting next to William in the bedroom. "I tend to have that effect on people close to me. Jen hates it, but we've come to an agreement about it. I honestly don't know why it happens. As I said before, I haven't really tested out my inhuman nature unless I lose control of my emotions."
William frowns and crosses his arms. "That doesn't really explain anything." He sighs he felt odd like he was raw and something tugged at his mind. "I... Henry, what else will happen to my body?"
"I don't know." Henry frowns. "I'll be here for you, though." He grabs William's hand.
A flutter of an emotion flickered in Willaim, and he could feel his face heat up. "Thank you, but that doesn't answer my question."
Henry smiles. Yeah, this was still William.
......
Anger was an emotion William was quite familiar with, but his this wasn't that. Frustration was a better word, but even that didn't quite fit it. He was upset, but he couldn't figure out why, and it made him more upset. He wanted something, and he didn't really understand what that something was. He seethe as he barely got this sketch done. He had to finish this concept for Circus Baby's, but he just couldn't focus.
"William?" Henry's voice broke through William's frustration, and he melted as a calm washed over him. "William, are you alright?"
William shifted in his seat, putting his pencil down. He swallows and realizes what he wants. He felt like an animal in heat. "Henry?"
Henry slowly approached, looking over William's shoulder. "Oh, that's a good design." He places his hand on William's shoulder. He pauses hearing a strangled moan from his partner's lips. "William?" A smell hit his nose all too sudden, and he jerked his hand away. "William!"
William huffed. "Fix it." He pushes the papers away on his desk. "Henry, please."
"William, we are at work, control yourself." Henry watches William stiffen, and his pupils return to normal as he lays his head on the desk. "What has gotten into you?"
"I wanted you." William groans his seat was wet. "I need to bring extra clothes here." He pulls himself up, no longer feeling that overwhelming sensation. He rubs his temples. "I..." He stops. He didn't understand this feeling or why his cheeks were red and his insides twisted. He covers his face. "Henry..." He groans. He felt like a child.
"Are you ok?" Henry sighs and pulls up a chair next to William. "What happened?"
"I don't know." William huffs. "I don't understand these feelings. I've never felt like this before."
Henry pauses. "You've never been embarrassed?"
"Is that what this is?" William groans, sinking into his chair. "I thought shame and embarrassment were myths."
Henry's lips pull into a frown. He did minor in psychology. He knew what it meant to be a sociopath not having emotions the same way others do, lacking the ability to be empathic, among other things. It clicks for him. He gave William emotions and empathy. No wonder why he thought it was a good idea to kill Charlie to get to him. Henry sighs. "William, I think I know what happened."
William looks over at Henry. "Before, you tell me, can you get me a spare security uniform? My pants are wet." His face was red as he shifted uncomfortably in his chair.
Henry sighs. "Go to our private bathroom clean up while I get you some clean clothes."
William got up against his wishes and moved mechanically to the bathroom. This time, he was ok with this command he didn't think he could have gotten up by himself.
Henry comes back to the bathroom, opening the door with his spare key. "I got you one of the security uniforms, are you ok?"
William yanks it from Henry putting it on. "I'm clean." Be sighs face, finally returning to the pale color. "Thank you."
Henry pauses. "I think I know what I did to you... uh, minus the body stuff. I don't exactly know how that's working." He shifts, turning away from William as he puts on the clothes.
William frowns as he gets dressed. "What did you do to my head, Henry?"
Henry frowns. "Do you know what a sociopath is?"
"No?" William sighs. "Why would that even be important?"
Henry sighs. "Well, what I'm realizing is that I think I took that away from you."
"Ok. You're still not explaining this." William huffs. "I'm dressed you can look."
Henry turns back around. "Well, uh, so I think I might have given you empathy and the ability to process emotions."
William raises his brow. "Right..." He didn't really believe him, but it was as if what was happening was getting into focus but still out of reach. "Let's just get back to work."
.....
Micheal was staring at his father and hadn't taken his eyes off of him. William hasn't noticed.
Henry sees this. "Hey Micheal, why are you staring at your father?"
Micheal frowns. "Dads been weird he hasn't gotten mad at me or yelled at me."
Henry frowns. "But that's a good thing."
"I don't know." Micheal sighs. "Dad has always been better than mom. I miss Lizzie and Evan, even if that were annoying." He frowns, looking up at his uncle. "Why does mom hate me? Dad never cared enough to hate me he cared for me, I have his accent. The other kids made fun of me for it, but he gave that to me. I like my accent."
Henry frowns and kneels down next to Micheal. "I don't know, Micheal, but what do you want now?"
Micheal continues to frown. "I don't know."
William finally spots Micheal with Henry, and he comes over and picks up Micheal without saying a word. Micheal latches onto William in an instant he wasn't crying, but he stopped making noise. William sighs. "Are you overwhelmed?"
Micheal nods, burying his face in his father's shoulder.
William sighs, he knew Micheal had his so-called fits, and he never cared before locking him in his room, and that seemed to do the trick. Now something made his chest hurt, and he had to comfort Micheal. "Alright, how about you sit on my lap and help me go through sketches."
Micheal nods again, seemingly unable to speak.
Henry raises his brow. "Micheal..."
"He doesn't want to talk, Henry. We're going to go over the new designs and pick the best ones." William frowns, bringing Micheal to the work shed outside.
......
Henry watches William come back to his room like clockwork. "Is Micheal alright?"
William nods, stripping himself down to his boxers. "He has fits. I would normally lock him in his room and keep the others away from him, and that seemed to work. I don't know why I picked him up." He frowns. "He drew some designs, and they weren't bad."
Henry frowns. "William?"
William sighs, crawling into bed. "I guess I feel better that Micheal is ok. I've never felt things like this before, I don't even know what it's called, and I don't trust care. It doesn't feel bad." He crosses his arms. "Everything is weird. I don't have perfect control anymore. You infected me with this empathy." He huffs. "I can't turn off emotions anymore. I don't have control of myself."
Henry hums. "That's normal, William."
"For you." William huffs.
"Would you feel better if I touched you?" Henry swallows as that smell again comes from William as if he flicked a switch.
William's face turns red. "No, but I want you to explore my body. Tell me what you find." He shifts, feeling a wetness grow below him. "I feel like I'm going through a second puberty." He grabs Henry's hand as his pupils widen.
Henry takes a deep breath that smell was intoxicating, and his body reacted accordingly. "I want you to top me. I want to feel how you unraveled under my touch. Get the bottle of lube in the draw, and you get to wreck me."
Something shifted in William's mind, and he started to drool. He watched Henry remove his own underwear. His own hand reached out and grabbed the bottle, and he lathered his fingers. "Lay down. I can't do it while you sit up."
Henry nods and lays down and makes a noise of surprise as William pulled his legs up and teased the first finger in without warning. "William, feels weird." It wasn't unpleasant, just weird. He takes a breath. "You can keep going. I told you I want you to wreck me."
William adds another finger scissoring and stretching Henry, then a third, and he hits something.
Henry gasps and grips the sheets. "What was that?" He groans as his own dick was painfully hard.
William chuckles. "I found your little pleasure button." He pulls his fingers out and uses the lube and his own slick to coat his penis and fully inserts himself without warning. "You're really tight, Henry. Come now, I'm not too big for you."
Henry groaned he felt too full. William was resting against that spot, and he wanted him to move. He took a breath as William started to move.
William smelled smoke as he picked up the pace and locked lips with Henry. He tasted ash and blood in Henry's mouth. It was intoxicating. His were thrusts getting erratic as he felt a build-up of pressure. "I'm close."
Henry moans feeling William cum inside of him he came hard splatter it on William's chest. He finally noticed the smoke coming from his mouth as William let his bruised lips go. His face lights up. "William, don't breathe that in." He shudders as William pulls himself out of him.
William smiles. "But I like the taste." He stares into Henry's eyes they were black and red again. "You're addicting." He laid himself on Henry's chest. "You're also very warm."
A sense of claim twisted Henry's mind, and he wanted to mark William up with his teeth. He swallows and wraps his arms around William. "You're making me want to do unspeakable things."
William chuckles. "Then do it. You own me, don't you? I'm just your little pet." He feels Henry move, then the sharp pain of teeth tearing into his flesh. "O-oh." His body suddenly felt as if it was on fire, and it hurt. He couldn't move he bit his lip as he felt Henry bite harder and sigh in relief when his partner unhinged his jaw.
Henry licked the blood from his lips. He looked satisfied, then guilt rushed into his features as the black and red drained from his eyes, and his normal amber ones were in their place. "No fuck." He unwraps himself and pushes William away. "Why did I do that? Fucking no I didn't want to hurt you."
William felt tears drip across his face. He didn't know why he was crying. It hurt, yeah, but Henry pushed him away, and that seemed to hurt him to his core. "H-henry?" His voice sounded weak. He reached out and grabbed Henry's hand. It made him feel better. "No." He shakes his head his mind felt like a storm went through destroying any coherent thoughts. He takes a breath. "No."
Henry pauses, letting William hold onto him. Why did he suddenly look upset like someone took something important from him. "You have to use your words. Here, let me get something for that it's deep."
"No!" William shouts his mind, getting clear enough to understand what he truly wanted to say. "The.... the bite hurt." He sighs. "Needed that, though." He uses his free hand to rub his face. "Don't push me away, I don't like that." He felt like a child with how his thoughts didn't make sense. "Body is being weird, and my mind doesn't understand it."
Henry pulls William into his lap. "Ok, I won't push you away." He sighs. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I lost control of myself." His own body felt off like whatever he was holding back, didn't want that anymore, and he had a sinking feeling he wouldn't be able to pretend to be normal anymore. "William, tell me, is something happening to you right now?"
William frowns and shuts his eyes. "I don't know." He lets out a sigh. "I want to clean up."
Henry nods. "Ok." That subject was dropped for the evening as they cleaned up the mess they made.
.....
Charlie kicked her feet as she was drawing, Micheal was drawing something too, but she didn't really care. They were at fredbears because their dads were working. She liked it here, but since Micheal's mom is gone, they've been there more. She wanted to go home and play outside.
Micheal sighs. "It's too loud."
"The noise hasn't changed?" Charlie looked over to Micheal, who had stopped drawing and was covering his ears. "Ooooo, is this one of the things you told me about?" She pauses as Micheal nods. "Ok, come on, I know how to get into dad's office."
Micheal follows Charlie into the office and hides under the desk while Charlie sits in her father's chair.
"How does it get like this?" Charlie hums, tapping a pencil against the desk.
Micheal sighs and in a quiet voice. "Dunno. I like the tapping, though."
Charlie nods, not really understanding, but doesn't want to make Micheal upset. "Did you do the homework yet?"
"Yeah, dad helped me." Micheal hugs his knees. "He's been nice lately."
"Uncle William is nice now." Charlie keeps tapping away. "Daddy likes him too, like he liked mom."
Micheal shrugs. "Dad never liked mom. She didn't like me either."
"I never met my mom, but Daddy says I would have really liked her. I like Uncle William, though. He let me work on some of the machines." Charlie hums. "I wanna work on machines when I get older. What do you want to do?"
Micheal hums. "I like drawing, maybe drawing."
"You are good at drawing." Charlie giggles. "Maybe you can work for Disney."
"But I don't want to." Micheal sighs. "I wanna do something else, I dunno what I want."
"That's ok. I want to be like my dad and work on machines like him." Charlie pokes her head under the desk. "You don't have to decide right now."
Micheal nods. "I know."
The two turn their attention to the door opening, and William steps through. "Oh good." He sighs in relief. Worry and fear were two things he absolutely hated. He hated it more now he could feel them. "Why did you two come in here?"
"Micheal thought it was too loud." Charlie shrugs. "He's under the desk."
"I like the dark under here." Micheal crawls out from under the desk. "Where's Uncle Henry?"
"He told me to find you two when he saw someone coming." William sighs. "Micheal, I told you to come to me when you got overwhelmed."
"You were working, and I'm not allowed to bother you while working. Charlie helped me." Micheal stares up at his father.
"New rule you can bother me when you get overwhelmed." William sighs. "Now come on, both of you we're closing up soon."
"Ok, dad." Micheal holds onto his father's hand, and Charlie grabs the other one.
......
Henry did try to stop Micheal from grabbing the pen, but he was quick.
"You got me a pen with my name?" Micheal smiles.
Henry sighs. "My father thought it would be a nice gift to go with that notebook." Henry frowns when Micheal runs off with it.
William raises his brow. "Your father? Was that the man in the parking lot?"
"Yes." Henry rubs his temples. "Technically, today is my birthday. He visits me every year. He was proud of me for what I did to you and what I gave Micheal. He even congratulated Charlie for crawling out of her first grave. He warned me that I couldn't hold myself back anymore, and doing the deal with you was a temporary fix. You're changing, and I caused it."
William frowns, placing his hand on Henry's shoulder. "Did he hurt you?"
Henry furrows his brow. "What? No, he never harmed me. My ma, on the other hand... that brand on my back was from her.
"I see..." William sighs. "Do you want me to get the pen back?"
"No, Micheal's happy with it. I don't want to take that away." Henry sighs.
"I can give you birthday sex." William hums surprised that phrase didn't cause him to feel the shame he did before.
Henry raised his brow. "How about a maybe on that. Are you ok with this?"
"I am." William pauses. He wasn't exactly thrilled with the emotions, but he also was now Henry's one and only so he was satisfied. He didn't care that his body was changing, although it felt like puberty. "I, however, wish it went faster so I could adjust. At this point, it's more of an annoyance. Can't you command me to make it faster."
"I would rather not risk your body, William." Henry sighs.
William frowns. "I'll be fine." He sighs. "Fine, fine, I'll go check on Micheal." He waves and heads to his son's room.
.....
William was lying on the couch bored out of his mind. Apparently, the new building they were going to make Circus Baby's had absetoes, and it had to be cleaned. The only upside is that they didn't have to pay for it. They had the designs and even started to build prototypes, but now they had to halt everything.
"What do you want, Micheal?" William sighs, looking over to his son, who was standing next to him and was staring.
Micheal frowns. He lets his hair grow out to cover his eye. "I..." He sniffs as tears start to drip from his face. "School was bad. They broke the pen Uncle Henry gave me and put it in my eye."
William sits up and scoops Micheal into his lap, brushing his hair out of his eye. Why the fuck did they not bring Micheal to the hospital. Bits of the pen stuck out of Micheal's eye along with spilled ink that has stained his eye purple. He took a breath barely containing his rage because if he started to shout, Micheal would hide, and that would only make things worse. "Micheal, I want you to get in the car we're going to the hospital." He brushes the hair back over his eye. "I'm going to write a note for your uncle and then I'm going to take you to the hospital." Micheal nods but doesn't leave his side.
Micheal holds onto William's hand and follows him to the notepad on the counter.
William sighs and finishes the note and picks up Micheal. "You're getting too big to carry, but I'll make an exception because you're hurt." He knows that's a lie, and he will do his damndest to keep carrying Micheal around until his boy hates it. These fuzzy feelings around Micheal were annoying, but they weren't bad, and he might actually have started to take a liking to them. More so because he was going to raise hell for his boy.
The trip to the hospital was a whirlwind, and that's how William ended up in an uncomfortable chair, staring at the doors waiting for news on Micheal. He had to be sedated while they took the pieces of the pen out of his eye.
The waiting he learned was worse than the longing he felt as he wanted Henry, before what happened. The way Micheal screamed as the doctor tried to move what was lodged in his eye made him terrified that he wasn't going to be ok. The reason the school didn't do anything is because those brats grabbed Micheal after the last bell and made sure Charlie wasn't anywhere near him.
In the first time since Henry did something to his mind, he felt those dark urges again. Oh how he wanted to drink that feeling in and raise hell against those fucking brats for touching his son. He couldn't he had to make sure Micheal was ok.
William didn't notice the man who sat next to him. It wasn't Henry. The man has a smile on his lips and impossible red eyes. "Kids can be cruel." His accent is thick, and his voice made an uneasy feeling rise in William's chest.
"Who are you?" William grit his teeth he wasn't in the mood for idle chatter.
The red eyes stared at William. "That's quite the powerful contract my son put on you. Not even the head could remove that. He really needs to learn self-restraint. Your own humanity is feeding your new body." He gains a wicked grin. "He's even more powerful than I could have ever realized."
William didn't care to hear this. His mind was racing, and his logical mind was quickly losing the battle against his new emotions. "I don't care."
The man chuckles. "Your son will be fine." He hands a new pen in William's hand. "He'll be much more power than we expected. Enjoy the future I'll visit again."
William clutched the pen in his hand, ready to stab it into the man next to him, but he vanished.
"Mr. Afton?" A doctor stood in front of him.
Rage simmered under his skin, but he took a breath. "Yes?"
"Micheal will be fine. He has to come back in a week to get the bandages removed. It's too early to tell if he will lose his sight in that eye. We also don't know if the ink will remain permanently staining the eye. However, he should be waking up soon, and we got all the foreign objects out of his eye." The doctor pauses. "If you follow me, I can show you to his room. You can take him home after he wakes up."
William followed the man, and he arrived in a hospital room where Micheal had white bandages over his left eye. "Micheal..." He takes a breath and pulls a chair next to Micheal and holds his hand.
......
William drove home extremely careful. He didn't want to stress Micheal out he knew the boy hated hospitals. The pen that stranger gave him seemed to help Micheal relax he was already drawing on the notebook he threw back there. "We're home."
Micheal nods, holding his pen to his chest. "Can I stay by you?"
William nods. "Of course, come on, let's get you some dinner and a bath." He opens Micheal's door and helps him inside. The doctors gave him a haircut, which Micheal hated, and he hated it, too. His son looked better with the long hair.
Micheal clings to his father hand as they enter the home.
"William!" Henry looks frantic. "What happened? You just said you went out. Why is Micheal covered in bandages?"
William sighs. He knows he can't get Micheal off his side. His mind screamed at him to tell Henry the truth, but to his surpise Micheal spoke before he could.
"They separated me from Charlie. We always get on the bus together. They broke the pen you gave me. I'm sorry." Micheal looked close to crying. "Dad got me a new pen, but..."
Henry takes a breath and crouches in front of Micheal. "It's ok, that's a very nice pen your father got you."
Micheal moves closer to William, basically hugging him. "Dad says a stranger gave it to him, but it has my name on it."
Henry sighs, not wanting to freak Micheal out stands up. "How about I order some takeout? What do you want, Micheal?"
Micheal doesn't say anything.
William sighs in relief. "Micheal likes the local Chinese spot with the lomein with chicken no mushrooms."
Henry nods. "Alright, I can do that." He watches William pick up Micheal and bring him to the couch.
Henry joins him after he orders, and Charlie is already next to Micheal chattering.
Micheal was nodding along he just liked hearing Charlie speak about anything. It was like a quiet buzz.
"I'll be by your side now. I won't let them ruin your other pen or your other eye." Charlie exclaims. She had pulled Micheal away from William. "Ooo, let's try out your new pen."
Micheal nods and follows Charlie to her room.
Henry sighs, sitting next to William. "How bad?"
"They broke the pen and shoved the pieces in in my boys eye. They don't even know if the ink will fade from his eye or if he'll be blind in that eye." William growls. "Thoes brats knew exactly what they were doing they cornered him and waited till the last bell rang so teachers didn't even help him."
"You know Micheal's been dealing with these bullys for a while." Henry pauses as William growls again his hands were balled into fists. "Charlie had told me about it. Don't beat yourself over it, William. Micheal's strong he can bounce back."
......
Henry had William to work the next morning. "We can not follow our children to school, William. Nor will we be hurting children." He pauses. "Their parents aren't off the table."
William huffs. "I want to hurt those who hurt my child."
"William, I'm warning you." Henry sighs. "William, you can help Micheal when he gets home. Right now, we are going to work, so we can go home before our kids do."
William took that as a command as he grumbled as he walked into the building.
......
Charlie didn't leave Micheal's side to the annoyance of the teachers, hence why they were in the principal office. "I didn't do anything wrong." Charlie huffs, crossing her arms.
Micheal also crosses his arms.
The principal sighs. "You have been missing your own classes, and you falsely accused my son of harming you."
Micheal scowls. "I didn't lie."
"I'm calling both of your fathers." The principal narrows his eyes. "I will not have either of you spreading lies about my child and his friends."
......
Henry had to hold the taller man back before they entered the office. Henry was staying calm the best he could, but William's expression answering the phone kind of gave away everything that was said.
"Hi, dad." Charlie turns around, waving at her father. "Hi, Uncle William."
Micheal scowls, crossing his arms. "He says I'm lying about who attacked me."
The principal narrows his eyes. "I understand there are troubles at home, Mr. Afton, but I refuse to be lied to. He claims my son and his friends did this."
William is forced to stay put as Henry places a hand on his shoulder. "William takes the two kids to the car now, I want to have words with the principal."
William couldn't argue as he took the hands of each child and took them out of the school.
"Are we going home early?" Charlie huffs. "I left my book bag in the classroom."
Micheal frowns. "Did I do something wrong?"
William felt the rage drain out of him hearing that. "No, you didn't do anything wrong, Micheal. Some adults want to protect their kids, but they do it very wrong, or they just don't care." He sighs as he gets both of them in the car. "Neither of you did anything wrong."
"I know that." Charlie huffs. "The principal encourages his kids to attack other students to keep everyone acting in line."
Micheal nods. "He's mean."
William sighs, sitting down in the passenger seat. He wanted to skin that man alive. He had to focus. Henry had the keys, so he couldn't just use the car to ram into the school more so that bastard office. They just had to wait.
.....
Henryocked the door behind him and didn't let the man in front of him speak. He could feel himself shift. His own blood felt as if it was on fire, and he embraced it. "You know my nephew could still lose his eye." He didn't even care that William met his father and that Micheal got a new pen. He did not care that Micheal was probably being infected faster by whatever his father gave. No, he wanted to see this man burn.
"Uh, Mr. Emily smoking is not permitted in this building. I will have you escorted out of this building by the police if you continue to push me." The principal crosses his arms and scowls. "I will have those two suspended for the next month for this."
Henry growls deep, low, and inhuman. He can feel new limbs, but that didn't matter. "You will listen to me." He smiles, seeing fear in the man's eyes. "Now I'm going to tell you how this will go and you will follow my directions."
The receptionist smelled smoke but didn't hear the screaming due to the soundproofing from Henry.
.....
Henry gets into the car with a smile. "We've reached an agreement. Those kids won't bother you two anymore."
Micheal looks up, messing with his seat belt. "Really?"
"You're amazing, Daddy." Charlie smiles.
Henry nods. "Of course, come on, let's head back to Fredbears. We still have work to do, and you two can test out the new arcade machines."
Micheal and Charlie nod.
William raises his brow. "How did you convince that awful...." He cuts himself off.
"Well, talk about it while we work." Henry hums.

How would the peepaw(s) react or do if the Kraang were to attack again?
If they were in the same AU would they be okay to team up together? (Yes including LCD)
DMD would completely fall apart. All his guilt and memories would resurface in a brief moment of panic before he realizes the situation and he forces himself into that “serious leader mode” (while also balancing on that thin line of relapsing into the desperate-save everyone kind of thinking hinted/seen in the DMD AU works).
Reunion has it easy, he got rid of them once, he can do it again. No brainer, he could do it in his sleep. Someone wake Donnie, Raph and Mikey to make the necessary preparations again.
LCD would be absolutely furious. And he would use that rage to get his proper revenge. He’d more than likely die trying to sacrifice himself for the kids.
I feel like this would be kind of spoilers to ch.2/3 of WDS, so he’s out of the question. Hehe.
In an AU where all the peepaws are together, Reunion would take the lead the charge. He’d show everyone the ropes, and everyone would put their differences aside to work together. If anyone were to know the consequences of not stopping the Krang or letting their petty feuds get in the way, it would be them.

💡, 🌑, 🏆, 🤒 for the Get To Know The Wip thing? Sorry for so many questions, I'm curious
Please be curious! The more the better
Tumblr media
💡 - What inspired the wip? When/how did you first get the idea?
It was originally a percy jackson / harry potter fanfiction I made when I was like 10, and over several years it kept developing and changing because I was too attached to the OC characters. It's no longer a fanfiction and If I were to compare then vs. now, it's practically indistinguishable from the original. The current story is greatly inspired by revolutions of the past.
(Minor spoilers ahead for book 1! Tread with caution)
🏆 - What is the end goal? What are your characters fighting for?
The overall goal of the characters is to stage a rebellion against colonizers (Nation called Habere) towards freedom for their homeland of Nulla. The main character's goal in the first book is at first the goal presented above, but eventually becomes a quest to strike revenge (or simply: to kill) those responsible for a great tragedy of his past
🌑 - Is there reoccurring symbolism? Motifs?
The story symbolises corruption (The first book being set as a collection of letters written by the main character, and transcribed by a Haberian company who have edited the original letters - and therefore have created an unreliable narrative for the reader). It as well shows the dangerous and extreme lengths the included parties are willing to go to achieve their goals - blurring moral boundaries and not presenting a straight white and black, good vs evil for the reader (hence the overall name of the series: We were not the heroes we thought we were) Additionally in the first book, it also displays the tunnel-vision and close-minded rage of the main character, and how noble intentions and guilt can drive him to dark places. I focus on in-depth descriptions with how he experience the world around him, his emotions - both petty and small. How his train of thought evolves around his experiences.
🤒 - Is there whump in the wip? What kind?
I googled what whump means ("stories in which characters from the source material are put into physically and/or mentally painful situations."), so if my answer doesn't relate to the question, apologies beforehand. Rebellions can be extremely violent and bloody, so yes there will be a running theme of pain and anguish. I've talked about 1984 by George Orwell in older post(s), so I would use that as an example of what level and sorts pain to expect. Furthermore, I explore the character's train of thought. Mindless ramblings and thoughts that plague their mind, written version of what you or I might think to ourselves randomly (just specific to situation and characters, ofcourse) Sometimes these thoughts could be confusion, navigating pain, etc. So in a way that may relate to the question as well
