If I was to describe Yuugis flaws, it would probably be the exact same flaws Akhenamkanon has, actually. Something which Jounouchi calls him out on.

Conflict avoidance.

As in, Yuugi is terrified of things changing, particularly when he feels things are going well.

He refused to acknowledge his blackouts for six months, even when he knew important things were happening during them (such as not questioning when Mokuba said he best Kaiba) and it took Death-T for him to acknowledge his Other Self. He refuses to let Dark Yuugi talk about how he wanted to find his past, actively changing the subject. He refuses to talk to Other Yuugi about the fire, when Other Yuugi broached the subject. He shuts down Other Yuugi asking about why he can't sleep.

All the time, because he's afraid of conflict, he pushes things off and they get bigger and bigger, and eventually out of control. That's something he did have to learn.

He's not a coward, and it's not like he has bad confidence. He just genuinely has things going well for the first thing in his life and he's terrified of change.

He's also a little bit selfish sometimes, and in an understandable way, something he was actively fighting in Battle City. As in, he admits several times he doesn't want to let Other Yuugi go, and keep him trapped in his heart, something he knew was bad for the both of them but still wanted. He was also pretty selfish in breaking his promise to Dark Yuugi by taking off the Puzzle so he could sacrifice himself at the pier. Again, in an understandable way, Jounouchi could have died and he didn't want that.

I guess thats an important distinction. Yuugi isn't completely passive. He has no problem standing up to people. He just is really afraid of change, and his friends leaving him. That's why Unity is an important theme. Not in 'friends always being together forever' but like, the series spells it out pretty hard. That even if you move away or leave each other, the bonds connecting you stay. Anzu says it right in Death-T. Dark Yuugi tells Shadi this. This is why the Ceremonial Duel is done the way it is. This is why Dark Magician Girl is still around.

Yuugi's major lesson is learning that things change, so you have to accept that and keep the important memories you have.

And one day you'll meet again.

Bird of Paradise: Paradise, freedom, joy. It can also symbolise faithfulness in romantic relationships and optimism. Wilted in the MV, which could suggest the absence of freedom, joy, etc, as well as a lack of faithfulness.

Dahlia: Elegance, inner stength, change, creativity, dignity. Alternatively, it can represent betrayal, instability, and dishonesty. It's also notable that in the Victorian era they symbolised a lasting bond/lifelong commitment between two people. Also wilted, which could suggest a lack of inner strength and a failed long-term relationship/committment.

ORCHIDS: There's a lot of orchids so I'm going to put their general meanings in here. Orchids are typically used at weddings and funerals and represent love, luxury, beauty and strength, as well as virility in Ancient Greece. They are very much associated with love, and their usage at funerals is often to represent everlasting love for the deceased. They can also be thought to bring good luck and fortune in love.

Elleanthus (orchid): It's sort of a purple/pink so: Pink orchids are the 14th wedding anniversary flower and convey pure affection. Purple orchids symbolise respect, and are generally given as a gift to show affection.

Egret orchid: Typically white, so they would normally symbolise innocence and purity, as well as elegance and reverence. However, the ones in the video are red, and red orchids typically symbolise fire, romance, desire, and passion. They're very rare in the wild, which is notable as in the tradition of gifting exotic flowers to show love and affection, the rarer the flower, the deeper the affection. (two seperate omori fans in the replies add: "My thoughts will follow you into your dreams.")

Dendrobium: Popular for use in weddings, particularly as corsages or in bridal flower arrangements to show the beauty of the bride.

Butterfly orchid: The most famous orchid species, they symbolise elegance, femininity and unity.

Cymbidium: Commonly known as a boat orchid, it represents morality and virtue, and in Asia it is an honour/gesture of respect and friendship to give a cymbidium.

Wilted: could represent a loss of morality/virtue.

Masterwort: Also known as astrantia. Can be a romantic flower, referred to in old folk tales as stars that have fallen to earth. Symbolic meaning is a strong, brave protector. Wilted, which could suggest that someone (probably Shidou) has failed in their role of protector.

Anthurium + Monstera: Anthurium signifies long lasting love and friendship, and it said to bring luck in your relationship. Known also as a flamingo lily, it's one of the most gifted plants on Valentine's Day due to it's heart shaped leaves and in Ancient Greece the flowers of anthurium were said to be Cupid's arrows. Monstera can represent suffocation, or long life and the honouring of elders.

King Protea: Named after the Greek god Poseidon's son Proteus, who would change his appearance to avoid detection. Generally thought to symbolise diversity, daring, transformation, and courage.

Calla lily: Symbolism varies by flower colour. However, they're generally used for occasions such as weddings and funerals due to their beauty and are also associated with purity, holiness, faithfulness. The 6th wedding anniversary flower. Dark red symbolises passion and intensity. Although calla lilies are not true lilies, lilies can symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death.

Roses: Love, romance, can also be linked to secrecy. Appears on four tarot cards: the fool, the magician, strength, and death. In Greek mythology, roses originated from Adonis.

Note: a lot of them have different features like not being fully bloomed, so keep that in mind. I'll update this later"

Glad you'd prompted me once more to consider the metaphysical aspects of Majora's Mask, bro. Was actually just reading about the Scythian religion. A gentleman by the name of Jorgani points out that Prometheus, as we understand him in the Greek context, is a melding of Enki, the Babylonian Wisdom God Who Was Father of Mankind and a figure from Thrace/Scythia. I was considering the Enochian figure of Azazel, who was a War and Blacksmith God, and of how in some tellings it's Prometheus who performs the Cesarean Upon Zeus Which Births Athena, and in some Hephaestus. How it's said that Prometheus stole the fire from Hephaestus's forge. He is a god of Metallurgy, or Chainlink, once again connections to DNA, to metal, to liquid states, to Mercury. This also ties into my Unverified Personal Gnosis about Ares as A God of Bondage. In many myths, he is trussed up, humiliated publicly, ensnared, laughed at, abandoned, thrown into a jar. The similarities with Goetic lore are self-evident. Part of it, the bondage element -- is tied to discipline, some of it to force of will. In my heart, the thrill of bondage is not in succumbing to the inescapable, but in overcoming it, in escaping. This is quintessential in the art of the stage magician, escape artist, strongman, circus ringleader -- you can see, Ares, Hermes, Hephaestus, Dionysos, there is plenty of overlap in the function of the brothers. Bodybuilding and bondage. An absolutely winning combination. Fight clubs and bondage displays. Sheaths slick as hotrods. Show off those bodies, boys.

In the Scythian religion, there is a belief in seven primary Gods, a pattern in line with the Hermetic division of the personality in correspondence with the Seven Classical Planets. The first three Gods are Considered to be as follows: An Absolute, An Earth Mother and A Sky Father, and they are understood to be largely impersonal. The next four are associated with the physical world as we know it and are more immediate and relevant to day to day life. Of these, is the Scythian Ares, as well as what are believed to be correspondences to Dionysos and Apollo and a Fertility Goddess Perhaps Not Dissimilar From Aphrodite, or maybe Artemis.

I was thinking of the Hylian Religion, it's own Big Three, then the Four Lesser Divinities of Termina -- boundary markers, perhaps demons of the compass points, cardinal directions, Guardians of the Four Corners.

It's not simply nostalgia, though I do appreciate the low-res look. Rather, I do believe the moment in time, exploring a pioneering new technology and all the possibilities it offered, provided the atmosphere to tap into some uniqe creative potential, which latter software updates and corporate franchise-making was not as privy to nurture.

OoT is the Narrative Equivalent of Induction Into A Gnostic Mystery Cult. Down to the Plot Twist Which is the Reveal of the True Nature of the Triforce -- a Metaphysical Bond where One Unity Is Severed and Binds Three Souls -- the player ascends into Virtual Godhood. In Majora's Mask, Link is himself the Protean Figure of Mercurius/Hermes changing Shape and Identity at Will, Mastering Time and Space, Land and Sea, Underworld and Spheres Beyond the Spheres, Becoming a Radiant Purifying Force Which Shatters All Illusions, Even the Illusory World of the Dreamscape Itself as the Evil Hands You Your True Face as A Righteous Devil and Deems You Fit To Slaughter It.

There is a sense of transition, of completion, and a sense of accepting death, but I do think Link's literal death is thinking too small, too narrowly, though we do know he dies with regrets, his spirit living on to bestow knowledge upon his descendent. The Death angle is touching on something real, but it's also letting itself off too easy. As Style comes from practice, Specificity in Analysis Comes From Keen Observance.

Well, this is certainly a lot to take in. I'll probably have to respond piecemeal over a few days, having to go back and reread these things to really grasp what you're getting at. I had said nothing yet about Majora's Mask and Buddhism because the right words had yet to come; I needed to refresh my understanding but could not find the time to.

It's a complex subject that I've never seen breached satisfactorily. The three-day cycle is symbolic of samsara. Link is the bodhisattva who liberates the inhabitants of Termina from their suffering. The completion of this task rewards him with apotheosis into the Fierce Deity, perhaps puzzling to Westerners but an obviously reference to the Wrathful Deities of Buddhism, who harness their wisdom and compassion into passionate fury to achieve their goals: They attack, harangue, aggress. They confront you with your own sins and shortcomings, not to make you feel shame, but to strip away your ego and show you how to overcome moral and existential hurdles. . . . Oh! Yes then!

Majora is the culmination of the primal scene of Skull Kid's abandonment, and Link as the Fierce Deity is literally stripping the delusion and suffering away from him so Skull Kid can reconcile with the trauma of losing his friends. Termina is an an inverted Bardo!

It's all coming together now! I can see it oh so clearly, Mister Jacek!

Majora's Mask's thematic core is Buddhist myth and philosophy turned on its head, like a wasteland tower flipped into the sky!

It's Buddhism in Wonderland, Vajrayana Mabinogion! On the surface, Termina is a Bardo for Link, wandering through endlessly, confronted with demons to assail and demoralize him as well as eerily familiar faces to evoke comfort and unease. But if Link makes the effort to act as a true bodhisattva and heal the suffering of the land, you realize that Termina is *everyone else's* Bardo, a shared Bardo, and Link is rewarded with (brief) ascension to Buddhahood as the Fierce Deity.

Oh! But also the Fierce Deity is the completion of the logic of heroic violence! Link is the crusading knight on a mission from the gods, the sort of warrior-figure so intricately woven into so many cultures that it loses some of its teeth in this representation, the little fairy-boy with his little sword who slays monsters that vanish in a puff of smoke when vanquished. Cartoon violence. The Fierce Deity is not a superhero but the expression of violence in its realer, more horrific form.

Violence is the imposition of will to remove agency from another sentient being. Its use requires the harnessing of dark forces inside all of us. Its aftermath is every bone that doesn't heal neatly, every friendship permanently soured, every empty seat at the dinnertable.

Link is a tool of violence wielded by divine forces for their arcane cosmic purposes, and it's cute when he's a little boy fighting monsters and standing up to evil, but you don't come back easy from being a child soldier, from every talking tree and glowing stone telling you your destiny is to kill, over and over again. And so Link incarnates as a violent god to permanently break the cycle. OoT is a clash between good and evil; MM meditates on the question of using violence to stop greater harm. Great Hindu epics have been written about this moral puzzle. Yes.

Digimon Unity

My idea for a new Digimon series set in modern day.

Plot

Years ago two young men accidentally stumbled into a world parallel to Earth, a world made of data and code. They found that this world was inhabited by beings calling themselves Digimon. One of the men embraced the digimon as friends while the other began to plan on how to exploit them. Over the following decades the men began a cyber-tech research and development company in the hopes of finding a way to make the worlds closer together. Eventually they created devices known as the Unity Digivices they could use to bond and merge with digimon. However when one of the men tested the process it nearly ended in tragedy. As he recovered the other man took the chance to initiate a hostile takeover of the company. Years later a high school class is visiting Cyber Zenith, a cybernetics company, on a field trip to learn about the latest in cutting edge technology. However six of the students, Theodore Crossman, Felicity Harte, Grant Nichols, Melissa Meadows, Riley Collins, and Drake Walden get lost and get on an elevator. Unknown to them the man who left the elevator before them put in a code to take them to a secret area known as Unit-D. It is here that they find six experimental devices, the newest model of Unity Digivice. Picking them up they accidentally activate them opening a portal to the Digital World. When they get their bearings the teens realize they have been separated and soon they each encounter the inhabitants of the world, the Digimon. One teen finds himself aided by a three digimon delivery company, another finds herself in the company of a trio of wannabe magicians, the third finds himself with a group of dark dwellers, the fourth finds herself with a trio of fighters, the fifth finds herself with a group of robotic cartographers and the last finds himself with a trio of dragons. None of the digimon know how to get the teens back to the real world due to the natural gates being unreliable. A traveling Veedramon tells them that they can find the answers in Cyber City, the capital city of the Digital World. And so each of the teens begins their journey to the capital. On their way the teens discover that in times of danger they can Unity Digivolve and merge with one of their digimon companions to become a digimon themselves to fight off the growing threats in the Digiworld. Soon after the teens discover this they are given a warning by a Leomon who informs them that according to Digiworld legend any digimon who consumes a human gains the ability to manifest fully into the real world. As such many digimon will be after the teens to gain this power. Leomon also helps the teens learn to master their merged forms and truly fight like digimon. In addition to this threat the teens each encounter a group known as the Gladiators who claim to have been tasked with eliminating all the weak digimon from the digital world. After a while the teen all find each other and catch up on what each had learned about the world and their enemies. Soon after they reach RyCy Nursery where the digimon are shocked to learn from the Jijimon and Babamon running it that Digieggs have stopped showing up. At this point they meet the Veedramon again who dubs the group the Digidestined after an ancient Digiworld myth. Along the way to Cyber City they meet many interesting digimon such as a cult that worships a floppy disk, a city where digimon dress and act like people and a group seeking out legendary artifacts. Before reaching Cyber City the Digidestined meet up with Leomon again. The warrior brings them to a temple dedicated to the myth of the Digidestined and instructs them to place their Digivices within podiums in front of murals of ancient symbols. After a bright light they see that the case of their digivices have been marked with the symbols, each representing a trait. Mind for Theo, Dreams for Felicity, Heart for Grant, Endurance for Melissa, Joy for Riley and Creativity for Drake. After this Leomon joins with them and they finally reach Cyber City but all is not well. Leomon learns from an Owlmon that the king, Victormon is acting suspicious and the warrior joins her in investigating. Victormon meets with the Digidestined and explains that the royal gate has to be in sync with the gate on Earth in order to send them home. Fortunately this will happen soon so he allows them to stay in the city and enjoy the sights. During this time the Gladiators begin to attack causing the Digidestined to engage them in combat. During these battles the digimon gain access to their natural champion forms before the Digidestined reach their ultimate forms. When the time comes to return home however the king betrays the Digidestined and directs the gate to Cyber Zenith’s lab where they are taken captive by security. At this point the CEO of Cyber Zenith, Travis Wilson tells them the truth of the situation. He explains that he was one of the men who discovered the Digiworld and that when they did he began planning how to use the digimon to his advantage. He was the one who came up with the idea for Unity Digivolution as a way to give humanity the power of digimon while the other man saw it as a way to strengthen the bond between them. However only the kind man was able to get the process to work and even then it nearly killed him due to a health issue. So Travis came up with a new plan. Joining forces with Victormon with the promise of ruling the real world they set up the Gladiators to delete large numbers of digimon and redirect the Digieggs to a special server. After experimenting Travis found a way to rewrite the Core Code of a digimon allowing him to force it to take any possible form. An Agumon for example could be forced to become Greymon, Allomon, Tuskmon or Tyrannomon and any of their variants. The process also removed all personality as well as leaving them devoid of color, nothing but mindless puppets. To make matters worse, due to the alteration of their Core Code if they are deleted they are unable to form a Digiegg meaning they die for real. In a final act of spite he calls these beings Cybermon. When the Digidestined express shock and disgust he explains that digimon are nothing but zeroes and ones, a pale imitation of life. However he learned through Victormon that the teens are able to Unity Digivolve and he wants to know how so he prepares to experiment on them. Unknown to him one of the teens recorded him on their normal phone. Fortunately an Ex-Veemon breaks in and rescues the Digidestined, retrieves their digivices and flies away. He lands at a mansion outside the city and brings them inside where he reverts to his rookie form Veemon and splits from his human partner. The man promptly collapses as the Digidestined help him into a bed for his staff of doctors to help. Veemon then returns to his preferred form of Veedramon, revealing himself to have been helping them all along. Once stabilized the man introduces himself as Ron Jones, the other man who discovered the Digiworld. He fills in the gaps of Travis’s story and confirms the details. Explaining that after he lost the company he did not give up on the Digiworld and continued to monitor it with the help of Veedramon. Learning of Travis’s plans he set to work to thwart him leading to the Digidestined ending up in the Digiworld in the first place for which he begs their forgiveness. At this point he opens a gateway allowing the partner digimon to enter the real world explaining that the legend of “consuming a human” really meant that they had to have DNA added to their data, which happened during the Unity Digivolution process. Now it is up to the Digidestined to stop Travis’s plans. Travis does not take this lightly as he has his minions inject their DNA into Cybermon allowing them to enter the real world and be controlled like puppets. He has them create chaos as a way to show off the power he controls and to draw out the Digidestined. During the following battle the world learns of Digimon as well as the identities of the Digidestined. As the Cybermon fall Travis has Victormon send the Gladiator Bosses to the real world by absorbing Core Code from many digimon. In the following battles the Digidestined reach their mega forms and defeat the Gladiators who oppose them. Finally they battle Travis who by this point has learned how to Unity Digivolve with Victormon becoming Emperormon and now Zenithmon. Backed against the wall Zenithmon absorbs the data of the fallen Gladiator Bosses gaining further power. To combat this the Digidestined combine as one to form Hexamon who keeps Zenithmon on the ropes until they play the video of Travis confessing about the Cybermon causing Zenithmon’s combination to fail as the various Gladiators each try to take control or escape in disgust and outrage. The fused warrior is able to defeat the unstable monster ending the threat as Travis is arrested for his crimes. In the aftermath the Digidestined are named humanity’s ambassadors to the Digital World as Ron begins work to stabilize the gateways and create “digital DNA” allowing digimon to enter the real world. The Digidestined and their partners of course are able to travel between worlds at will enjoying life in both. Unity Digivice- Smart phone like devices with multiple functions such as scanning digimon information, maps, and communications. Unity Digivolution- Unity Digivolution combines the data of a digimon with the DNA of a human being creating a hybrid of both based on the next level of that digimon. Natural versions of the result exist but are more bestial in nature, the rule of thumb is any mask on a Unity Digimon is an animal head on the natural version for example. The Digital World- The Digiworld is comprised of data taken from the internet made physical. Older objects are more pixelated. The Digiworld spins backwards compared to earth with the sun rising in the west and setting in the east. Days last 20 hours with 10 hours in daylight and 10 hours of night. A year in the Digital World lasts 100 days without months or weeks. The environment is a mix of nature and tech with trees having wires as vines. Water and other liquids have a paint like texture. Meat grows in the ground and is surprisingly safe for humans to eat. Digimon “eat” by absorbing data from the environment. When a digimon is deleted the data they’ve absorbed is released back into the world while their Core Code returns to Rycy Nursery in the form of a Digiegg. If a digimon’s Core Code is damaged in any way it could risk their memories of their previous life. When a digimon absorbs enough data they can willingly return to a digiegg to begin again. Multiple gateway arches dot the Digiworld allowing access to Earth. However they only open when the opening on both sides are perfectly aligned.  Even then any digimon who passes through will only be a barely visible ghost like being in the real world. These “Wild Gates” also send the user to a random gate on Earth while the Royal Gate can select their destination manually. There are two methods to allow a digimon to fully manifest on Earth. The first is to “consume a human” which many digimon take literally when it truly means to add DNA to their data. The second is to absorb a large amount of Core Code.

The Digidestined

Theodore “Theo” Crossman- “Digidestined of Mind”

16 years old- Brown scraggly hair, thick glasses and hazel eyes. Faded red t-shirt with blue jean shorts, white socks and blue sneakers. Dark red backpack. A cautious and skeptical boy, Theo was determined to get to Cyber City as fast as possible. However soon he learned he couldn’t ignore the trouble of those around him and began helping out wherever he could even when it delayed his journey. Theo prefers to plan things out before acting but in time learns to think with his gut as well as his mind. Arrives in the digital world by the Modem Mountains Digivice: Red/Blue Symbol: A stylized image of a brain from the side Condormon, Toromon and Sharkmon: The three friends run a delivery business across the entire digital world using a wagon Toromon pulls. Their slogan is “only deletion will prevent us from delivering your package” and they intend to stick to it. Theo sticks a delivery label to his bag and uses it as a loophole to get them to take him to Cyber City without much hassle though before long the three consider the boy to be a friend instead of a package. Condormon Level: Rookie Attribute: Data Type: Small Bird Digimon Family: Wind Guardians Appearance: A small bird digimon 4ft tall, black body with red tipped wings, light red legs and dark red beak and talons. Personality: Condormon runs the delivery business and takes his job very seriously. Only deletion will prevent him from completing a delivery. Special Move(s): Feather Blades- Flaps his wings at the enemy sending knife like feathers at them Digivolves From: Chickmon Digivolves To: CycloneCondormon CycloneCondormon Level: Champion Attribute: Data Type: Bird Man Digimon Family: Wind Guardians Appearance: A winged humanoid bird digimon wearing a dark red beaked mask 7ft tall. Digivolves From: Condormon Digivolves To: Tribeastmon, Tengumon First digivolved to fight Kabuterimon Digivolution: Theo holds the Digivice screen first towards Condormon. Two beams of light shoot out of each camera, one towards Condormon and one towards Theo. Text on the screen reads out “Unity Digivolution”. The pair ends up in a black void with red and blue digital code floating around. Condormon flies towards Theo as an image of a natural CycloneCondormon appears behind him. “Condormon unity digivolve to..!” Condormon then turns into streams of code and flows into Theo as the boy glows. Wings grow from his back as his feet become talons. As the glow fades clothes and armor form with the crossbows on each arm with the beaked mask being the last to form. Carries a dark navy duffel bag with some sports equipment in it. Grant is the school’s top athlete, a triple threat at soccer, baseball and football. Ironically his favorite sport is basketball which he’s horrible at. He’s smarter than he gives himself credit for. He has a natural talent for reading the emotions of others and does not enjoy seeing others suffer. As a result he has zero tolerance for bullies and when he learns about the Gladiators he vows to stop them even if he has to do it alone. His heart helps open his partners up to the world. His tails vanish as his necks retract and his heads become one. Draconic armor forms along his body as his shield blades form on each arm. As the glow fades his dragon helmet forms. “TWILIDRAMON!” As Twilidramon all four speak as one but now in total unison.

Hexamon- “The United Warrior”

Inside the symbol are the six symbols of the digidestined traits. Top right arm ends with a shining blade emerging from the wrist representing Trinitymon. Middle right arm is coated in chrome digizoid armor and has a blaster on the wrist representing Plasmatonmon. Bottom right arm has a spiral design of flame, thunder and ice ending with a hand sparking with magic representing Titaniamon. Top left arm has a light armor coating and ends with an armored glove with beetle wings on the back representing QueenBeetlemon. Middle left arm is dark with combat wraps around key areas ending with a fist shining with harmonious energy representing Chakramon. Bottom left arm is armored and ends with a dragon themed gauntlet representing Twilidramon. Legs are covered in golden armor with the infinity symbol on each knee. A white cape flows behind them. The Legendary Digidestined

The children who created the legend of humans coming to aid the digital world during crisis. Not much is known about them except that they appeared in the digital world in the 80s to help protect it from a monstrous virus. Their digivices resembled pagers. The leader was a boy who who endured numerous trials by fire whose partner was a Coronamon who became Firamon then Flaremon and finally Apollomon. A girl whose heart was as big as the sea had an Otamamon as a partner who became Dolphmon and then Whamon and finally IsleWhamon (KingWhamon). A boy so joyful his laugh could shake the very earth had a Gotsumon partner who turned into Golemon and then Gogamamon and finally Blastmon. A girl whose creativity kept her mind in the clouds whose partner Hyokomon became Buraimon and then Butenmon and finally Eaglemon. A boy whose mind was always in high gear whose partner Junkmon became Tankmon and then Tankdramon and finally Machinedramon. A girl whose dreams grew like trees around her whose partner Mushmon became Woodmon and then Cherrymon and finally ElDoradimon. And last was a boy who sparked like lightning and kept the team united. His partner Pulsemon became Bulkmon and then Boutmon and finally Kazuchimon During the final battle the seventh child and his partner gave their lives go give the others an opening to defeat the virus. After the battle the fates of the other Digidestined are unknown. Some believe they returned home to bury and mourn their fallen friend. Others believe they remained in the Digital World to protect the world he gave his life for. The partner digimon on the other hand were said to have left after the battle. Apollomon is said to rest within a volcano. IsleWhamon is said to have swam beyond any map. Blastmon is said to hide within a deep cavern. Eaglemon is said to fly the skies higher than any cloud. Machinedramon is said to rest deep within an industrial complex. ElDoradimon is said to have become the foundation of a great city.

Allies

Ron Jones- 46- The mind behind the Unity project he hoped it would bring humanity and Digimon together in harmony. However during the first test Unity Digivolution with his partner Veedramon the stress on his body nearly killed him due to an unknown health issue. Afterwards he continued to keep tabs on the Digiworld hoping a day would come when humanity would be ready to learn the truth. Not long ago He discovered Dr Matthew’s plans and set to work to sabotage his schemes including orchestrating the events of the accident that sent the teens to the Digiworld. Through Veedramon he advised the teens and guided them in the right direction when needed. After the Digidestined are betrayed by Victormon and lead into Travis’s trap Ron has no choice but to Unity Digivolve with Veemon into Ex-Veemon to rescue them. As Ex-Veemon he brings them to his mansion where he opens a portal and brings their partners into the real world. At this point he defuses and his condition returns and he nearly collapses before his staff get him medical attention. Once he is stable he explains the truth of the situation and Travis’s true plan. He begs for the teens to forgive him for his role in sending them to the digital world and to his shock they do and agree to help protect both worlds. The Digidestined even dub him their seventh member saying that even though he cannot join in battle he has been helping them this whole time. Not to mention that his goal honors the trait of the fallen Digidestined from the legend. Digivice: Gold/Silver Veedramon A kindly traveler Veedramon holds many secrets and hides them beneath a silly persona. When the Digidestined arrive in the Digital World Veedramon guides them both towards Cyber City and towards any areas he knows need help. He also instructs Leomon to teach them how to fight like digimon in order to get the most out of the unity digivolution. In time his secrets are revealed including his connection to Ron Jones and the fact he has claim to the throne but chose to live among common digimon instead. After the Digidestined return to the real world Victormon makes his move and reveals himself as the villain to the Digital World and in return Veedramon gathers a force of those willing to fight back. After Zenithmon’s defeat Veedramon takes his rightful place on the throne and begins working towards his dream of a world where humanity and digimon coexist in peace. When he merges with Ron he becomes Ex-Veemon. Leomon An honorable warrior who fights with the ferocity of a beast. Leomon was once one of the Gladiator Bosses but grew disgusted by their mission and stepped down. After this he traveled the digital world advocating that the strong should use their might to protect those weaker than themselves not harass them. His words won over many but also earned him many enemies. On Veedramon’s orders he sought out the Digidestined and taught them how to fight like digimon. Upon reaching Cyber City he learns from Owlmon how deep the enemy’s reach truly goes and that the king himself is involved. Upon taking the throne Veedramon names Leomon leader of the Gladiators. Using this chance Leomon renames the group to the Guardians and instructs them to use their strength to protect those weaker to them and help them grow stronger.   SnowAgumon and FlameGabumon A pair of digimon who follow Leomon and train under him to get strong enough to defend themselves and others. In time they begin to digivolve allowing them to fight alongside Leomon and the Digidestined. IcyGreymon: a quadrupedal snow lizard BurningGarurumon: a bipedal flame reptile FrozenGreymon: Standing slightly upright it has armor of frozen ice VolcanGarurumon: Hunched over with a burning horn WinterGreymon: A white and blue Wargreymon with armor and claws of ice MagmaGarurumon: A red and black MetalGarurumon with obsidian as armor Eventually the pair learn to DNA Digivolve and form Omegamon Tempura. A mighty warrior of frost and flame. After the crisis the pair join Leomon’s Guardians. Cranemon, Ushimon , and Marlinmon A rival delivery company on friendly terms with Condormon, Toromon and Sharkmon. They loved to compete for deliveries and raced to see who could deliver their packages the fastest. However things took a tragic turn when the two groups along with Theo found a town under attack by the Gladiators. As Theo unity digivolved with his partners the others digivolved to Hurricranemon, Bulldermon, and Swordfishmon. However even all of them together were no match for the brutes. The three bravely stayed behind to buy Theo and his partners time to get as many civilians to safety. After their deletion the trio’s Core Code was collected and months later when Travis needed an edge against the Digidestined he combined their code to create a Cybermon version of Tribeastmon. After a fierce battle the original Tribeastmon reluctantly deleted the imitation permanently deleting their data. Bardmon A Koemon variant that carries a lute. After Drake saves his life he accompanies him and sticks by his side even after the group reaches Cyber City. He sings songs telling digital world myth and legend and writes songs about the digidestined. He prefers not to fight but if he must he can digivolve into Targetmon and then Etemon to help. After Zenithmon’s defeat Veedramon appoints Bardmon as the royal bard. Wizardmon, Sorcermon, Witchmon and Magemon Teachers of the mystic arts who each specialize in different elements. Wizardmon focuses on flame and earth, Sorcermon focuses on light and ice, Witchmon focuses on wind and water, Magemon focuses on darkness and lightning. They eventually join Veedramon’s group as Mistymon, Wisemon, Bastemon and Doumon. Owlmon A wise and kind digimon who loves to learn. As royal librarian she’s noticed that Victormon isn’t the benevolent ruler they seem and give the Digidestined as well as Leomon clues to lead them in the right path. She even discovers the stolen Digieggs. Upon Victormon’s betrayal Owlmon protects the partner digimon and safeguards them until Veedramon can arrange for them to be reunited with their partners. Upon taking the throne Veedramon names Owlmon his royal advisor in recognition of her wisdom. Plesiomon A kind and gentle giant of the sea who helps the cartographers when they need to map the oceans of the digital world. They assist the Digidestined in reaching a remote island to protect the village there from the Gladiators. Petermon and Kazemon

A mischievous trickster who mistakes Riley for his missing friend Tinkermon under a curse and attempts to “save her” however it turns out Tinkermon had digivolved into Kazemon. As the threat of the Gladiators grows more dire the pair open their forest up to any seeking shelter having digivolved into CaptainHookmon and JetSilphymon. After the crisis the pair join Leomon’s Guardians. Dokugumon/Archnemon A recluse who reluctantly allows the Digidestined to use her tunnel network to evacuate a group of villages in the Gladiator’s warpath. Inspired by the Digidestined the villagers begin to train and digivolve with many reaching champion or even ultimate. Dokugumon herself digivolves to Arachnemon before returning to lead the villagers in saving Veedramon’s group from a Gladiator ambush. After the crisis she joins Leomon’s Guardians. HolyAngemon, Angewomon, Darcmon and MagnaAngemon A group of holy digimon who rescue the Digidestined from a horde of Devidramon. HolyAngemon and Angewomon are peaceful healers while Darcmon and MagnaAngemon are powerful warriors. The two pairs often disagree on methods but all agree that life must be protected. They later join Veedramon’s group having digivoved to Dominimon, LovelyAngemon, Ophanimon and Seraphimon respectively. After the crisis they join Leomon’s Guardians. Beelzebumon and BeelStarmon Twin representatives of the Viral Council, a group of high ranking virus digimon who agree that Veedramon’s rule would be best for all digimon and that the threat of the Gladiators must be stopped. The twins were sent as representatives to aid Veedramon’s group to this end. After the crisis they join Leomon’s Guardians to insure that virus type digimon are protected. The original Digidestined After Travis’s defeat the original Digidestined reach out to the current group and they meet at Ron’s mansion. They reveal their names and what they’ve been up to since their adventures. Taylor, the original Digidestined of Endurance, became a famous celebrity chef with a series of restaurants world wide. Mary, the original Digidestined of Heart, became a marine biologist and pushed for stricter laws against polluting in the ocean. Josh, the original Digidestined of Joy, became a physical therapist and takes great joy in helping people. Sarah, the original Digidestined of Creativity, became a pilot and actually flew the group to Ron’s mansion. Issac, the original Digidestined of Mind, wrote a series of fantasy novels called Mystical Adventures about their adventures altering them with a fantasy angle. So the digital world was a kingdom of magic, the partner digimon were elemental familiars and the digivices were pendants of power. Mindy, the original Digidestined of Dreams, went on to create perfumes and now runs a perfume business nationwide. Luke, the original Digidestined of Unity, did indeed perish in the final battle. In order to avoid looking insane the others made up a story about running away from home to go on a great adventure and that Luke died saving some of them from a flash flood. This way he was still remembered as a hero. The group agrees to help the current Digidestined in their mission to unite the worlds and keep peace on both sides. However they make it clear their days in combat are long behind them and instead will help Ron with the background details.

Enemies

Travis Wilson- 45- The head of Cyber Zenith and cause of the chaos in the digital world. His plan was to have the Gladiators delete weak digimon and using a special program to redirect the digieggs to Victormon’s palace where they are transferred to another server where he can reprogram and modify their data making them strong and obedient to him. He plans on selling his Cybermon to the highest bidders and as well as forming a small army. He views Digimon as nothing but pale imitations of life, weapons and tools, nothing more. The digidestined confuse and enrage him. In his mind they have the power he deserves. Digivice: Black/Gray Victormon Champion Black and Blue pallet swap of Magnamon Emperormon Ultimate, skipped over during the digivolution to Zenithmon. Zenithmon Mega Warrior in dark armor with glowing circuitry throughout it. Zenithmon Gladiator Mode Dark Mega Imperfect forced Union with the data of the Gladiators able to use their attacks. Armor is rusted, veins replace circuits, any exposed flesh is pale and diseased looking. Has an aura of code that changes to resemble a Gladiator when he uses their move. As they begin arguing amongst themselves they all appear in the aura. The Gladiator Bosses The leaders of the Gladiators who instruct their forces to delete as many “weak” digimon as they can. All but VictoryGreymon believe this is to weed out the weak and use their Core Code to travel to the real world. Unknown to all of them Travis redirects their data to his Digivice upon their deletion to use for Zenithmon Gladiator Mode. VictoryGreymon The cruel and sadistic leader of the Gladiators. Victormon’s right hand mon. The only one other than the king to know the full truth of their mission. Deleted by Zenithmon to steal his power. CresGarurumon Solitary warrior with a frozen heart. Finds out the truth about their mission and turns on VictoryGreymon leading to his deletion. Pharaohmon Obsessed with death and destruction. Deleted by Trinitymon, Chakramon and Twilidramon. Ebemon Cold and calculating, able to scan for weaknesses. Deleted by UlforceVeedramon. Rafflesimon Proud and vain master of plants. Deleted by Titaniamon, QueenBeetlemon and Plasmatonmon. Behind the Scenes Notes:

* The whole concept of this came from a video I saw about an unused concept for Frontier called Digimon Fusion where people fused with digimon and fought in tournaments * Theo was originally going to be the only digidestined but I kept coming up with ideas for others and added them to. * Theo being “the smart one” came from me wanting to see the smart kid having to step up as a leader * I settled on three partners to cover the Sky, Land, Sea combo. * Condormon was originally Talonmon with his champion being much more tengu like, originally with a whip then a fan weapon. Then at dinner I came up with the pun Hurricrane so I changed it to Cranemon and Hurricranemon. However months later I disliked how it’d look for the crane parts to be on the ultimate and mega so I changed to a condor instead. * Toromon and Sharkmon pretty much stayed the same since the start * Felicity’s partners were originally more witch and magic themed with the ultimate being Charmmon and mega being Hecatemon. The switch to fairy came real late in the process. ** Felicity’s original team ** Scorchmon/BlazeWitchmon ** Sparkmon/SpellStormmon ** Icymon/SnowWandmon ** Charmmon ** Hecatemon * Drake was actually the third I came up with and was originally going to be much older than the others. * Drake was only going to get two partners originally, Yindramon and Yangdramon but much later on I changed from the yin yang theme to the Sun, the moon and the stars theme. * I wanted to model the Star Dragon after a historical warrior like the samurai or knight and I ended up using Wheel Decide to pick between central american warrior or spartan. * I used that site a LOT for this when I had ideas I needed to pick between * Melissa came fourth and for a long time her partners were going to be based on the Beetle trio, Kabuto, Kuwaga, Ladybug. But the bee idea got in my head and stuck so I switched to Beetle, Bee, Mantis. ** Ok and since writing that note I’ve changed it back so here’s what Melissa’s team was for a while *** Beetmon/ExoBeetlemon *** Vespermon/QueenBeemon *** Mantimon/SlayMantismon *** Swarmmon *** Brawlerflymon * Grant and Riley came to me at the same time because I couldn’t stop coming up with ideas for trios. * Grant’s original partners were a trio of dinosaurs whose champion forms would reference the sports he played. Pterodactyl for baseball with a bone bat and Styracosaurus with bone chest armor and helmet for football. ** Grant’s original team ** Raptormon/RazorRaptormon ** Ptiteramon/Pteromon ** Styracomon/AncientArmormon ** Saurusmon ** FossilRexmon * Riley’s original partners were a reptile trio of Snake (who went on to become Cobramon), Alligator/Crocodile and Turtle. ** Riley’s original team ** Vipermon/Nagamon ** Alidilemon/Crocogatormon ** Turtmon/Tortugamon ** Reptilemon ** Gorgonmon * However one night as I was trying to sleep I came up with an idea for a trio based on the three stages of water, A sea turtle for liquid (basically the turtle from Riley) a lobster for steam and a polar bear for ice. I gave this trio to Riley at first. * But the idea didn’t really sit right with me and I undid it only to refine it to a trio of robots for Grant because other than being dinosaurs there wasn’t any real trio theming to them. * Then I gave the robots to Riley to have her emotions bounce off their logic * I then got rid of the reptile team and replaced it with Snake, Spider, Bat as a homage to the classic trio of monsters from Kamen Rider. * It took me so long to figure out their ultimate * Speaking of Ultimate. The idea for the Ultimates is that the rush of three digimon’s data overwhelmed the human making the Ultimate more inhuman as a result. * The Megas were the human within reaching a balance with the digimon becoming more humanoid again. * Around the time I came up with Grant and Riley the idea of the Traits came to me * I flip flopped a lot on what trait to give Drake before settling on creativity. * I also flip flopped on Riley’s trait, going between Joy and Melody. If I went with the latter she would have made handmade instruments to pass the time on her journey * In my mind the symbols of the Traits are all based on emojis. * Before I decided to stick to six digidestined I had plans for a seventh and eighth. ** Seventh would have been a goth girl whose partners would have been *** Angel/Spirit/Devil *** Some kind of horror monster mix *** A twist and they’d be cute and fluffy and adorable ** Eighth would have been one of the following, skater/gamer/youtuber/geek/musician. *** I had no definite plans for his partners other than something to do with his interests. * At one point I was toying with the idea of a teacher getting pulled into the digital world with them but not being a digidestined, they would have befriended either a Bokomon or a Professor Agumon. Or ironically have been the only one to end up in Cyber City from the start and befriending Owlmon. * Travis came to me from combining the idea of the Digimon Emperor from 02 and Kurata from Saviors. A man who hates digimon and sees them as lesser beings. Add in a dash of capitalism and BOOM villain. * Ron was originally going to be much older, an elderly man named Archie. Basically Genai. A reading for everyone

I've been wanting to practice a more communal tarot reading for a bigger audience instead of reading for myself or an individual friend, and I found the perfect opportunity with the "Chosen Family" spread! I would never read anyone's individual tarot without their consent, so while this reading is for everyone, this isn't for any single individual. I channeled my ~energies~ towards communities like fandom (which in my case is the Cobra Kai fandom) and groups of friends and people you feel close to, your chosen family.

Find: Temperance, Major Arcana

Temperance is a card of unity and harmony, advising us to combine two opposing sides, opinions, thoughts or feelings. It's the "golden middle way". There's a road in the card that leads to a new sunrise, a brighter future. The card could be telling us to try and walk that middle road for a balanced existence with each other. Accept the fact that people around you have different opinions, feelings and preferences. Look for emotional harmony like the waters that flow from one cup to another in Temperance's hands. The Irises in the card symbolize Iris, the goddess of the rainbow, which is the perfect segue to our next card.

Bond: Ten of Cups

This is another card of harmony, the "happy family" card, which is really nice to get in a reading like this. The family in this card isn't just about biological bonds. It can be a group of friends or a community. In my case, it's the fandom I'm part of here on Tumblr. Maybe this is where Temperance's balance and unity leads us? The Cups are all about emotions, so I think the card could be telling us to be open with each other and to bond over our friendship and the love we share for our interests, but there's also a warning in this card: don't let your feelings spill over or the energy of the card could turn negative. It's okay to be passionate about things, but we should never let that passion turn into something that drives us to attack and gatekeep. Temperance is key. Give: The Magician, Major Arcana

The Magician is about self-confidence, willpower, skills and action. Just like the Magician in the card, we have all the tools and endless potential to create and make things happen. I see the Magician as the Shia LaBeouf of the deck, screaming at us to "JUST DO IT!" Write your fics and your meta, work on those WIPs, draw your fanart, make your gif sets and give your friends and community a chance to enjoy whatever you create. Nothing is impossible!

Receive: Judgement, Major Arcana

A card of awakening, rebirth and big changes. Also of forgiveness, reconciliation and personal growth. It's a wake-up call that's impossible to ignore. The cards are telling us to receive it with open arms like the people rising from their graves for a new beginning. It's time to self-reflect and pause to evaluate our actions. Should you change something about your behavior or patterns you've fallen into? Maybe you need to let go of something that's making you unhappy in your community? Or do you feel a calling towards something specific? Now is the time to embrace change and let go of things that no longer serve a purpose in our lives.

Enjoy: Nine of Pentacles

This is a card of abundance and inner peace. A card of enjoying the fruits of our labor. The woman in the card is content and free because her life is stable and full of harmony (a major theme in this reading!). Maybe this stability, abundance and contentment is what awaits us if we heed the call from the two angels in this spread, Temperance and Judgement?

ATLA and the Tarot

So I had thoughts on ATLA and Tarot. Which ties with persona. 

So I submit that Aang and Zuko are both fools who go on a journey, and might or might not expand more on it later.

Katara is strength, Azula is chariot, Iroh is the hierophant, Toph a magician, mai starts off as reverse lovers and this changes over the show, Ty Lee is the sun, Sukki is Justice, and sokka after a lot of thought makes an interesting Emperor. 

Of course they have secondaries (Katara for instance has a lot of Empress energy), and act as different cards in interactions with other characters (katara uses reverse Empress energy at times with toph), and Ozai being a devil to... More then just Zuko actually. Interesting in relation to Zuko though,as like the lovers,the devil is a card about Choices.

On that choices note, lets start with Mai. 

"The Lovers reversed can point to both inner and outer conflicts that you are dealing with. The disharmony can make daily life difficult and could be putting pressure on your relationships. You should take time to think about what you are punishing yourself for, so you can fix them or let them go. At this time, you should also think about your personal values and belief system to make sure that they are aligned with what you want from your life.

A break in communication could be another possible interpretation. The foundation for your relationships may be cut off, creating an imbalance between you and your partner or loved ones. The unity normally present within the card has become lopsided. 

The Lovers reversed can also indicate that you have been avoiding responsibility for your actions. You could have made a decision that was based on your desire for immediate gratification but are now blaming others for the consequences that are catching up to you. So, you need to make amends or let go of the past and make better decisions in the future."

The reversed Lovers in a relationship or romance tarot reading can suggest there is a coldness within your relationship. What was in balance is no longer working. Some issue likely stands in the way of your relationship, and must be resolved to once again form a closer bond.

Mais relationship with her parents at the Omashu storyline are a good starting ground for this. She is not in a good place with her relationship with her parents. Her baby brother probably does not help that, as that's naturally liable to take up a lot of their attention, leaving her feeling like she does not have a lot of direction to her life when accounting for the move to Omashu (that she was not thrilled about)

Then Azula comes sweeping in with her chariot energy, and recruits her for action. 

The first major negotiation she makes with Azula is not one she makes a choice with (her baby bro for a king) ,but is probably something that stuck with her in the back of her mind. She opens up over the journey I think,although it is not a central focus as shes with the dangerous ladies trio, so the main moment we see of it is the beach episode of fireside confessions. Also softening around Zuko. 

But her moment of upright lovers did was not directly related to Zuko, however much he was framed in the context of it in the boiling rock. Its personal

"A more personal Lovers meaning that can apply to individuals is the development of your own personal belief systems, regardless of what are the societal norms. We see this as a development from the Hierophant, who made decrees and passed on his knowledge through a standardized system. This is one of the times when you figure out what you are going to stand for, and what your philosophy in life will truly be. You must start making up your mind about what you find important and unimportant in your life. You should be as true to yourself as you can be, so you will be genuine and authentic to the people who are around you."

Its not that shes suddenly become a rebel, but here is a moment where she is making up her mind about things that are important to her in life. Interesting that its at the heart of it is an imbalance between Mai and Azulas relationship dynamics that brings it to this moment. Either way, this is a moment where she takes a stand and responsibility for her beliefs, and I would have liked to see Mai explore that further, and chose and develop what she stands for,rather then just be what she was taught.

"The Chariot tarot card is all about overcoming challenges and gaining victory through maintaining control of your surroundings. This perfect control and confidence allows the charioteer to emerge victorious in any situation. The use of strength and willpower are critical in ensuring that you overcome the obstacles that lie in your path. In the Chariot's quest for his goal, he may display some behavior that he has never seen within himself before - competition and a desire to succeed has perhaps brought out a more aggressive part of his personality. Aggression is a natural part of human nature, and the Chariot reminds you that it can also be used to help you take charge of your situation, but also must be reined in so that it does not hinder your way forward. "

Which describes Azula rather well. Shes a rather driven individual, with a good eye and interest in strategy, and particularly how to get people to work with the strategy. She sees her surroundings and uses them well, alongside her interest in military and martial arts. She has a good eye for people in a use sense, though her lack of nuance in interpersonal relationships hinders her. 

She takes control of her surroundings,but her methods of how can leave alot to be desired at times. Namely her reliance on fear as a control tactic. Now,as a 14 year old princess emulating her father (a military king, essentially) that's not unexpected. 

But her overuse of fear as a control tactic, backfired on her in the boiling rock, and lead to a reversal that shows its self in full in the finale. Or probably it started before that,but the boiling rock is where a lot comes to the forefront. 

In the finale she is not her confident self. 

" The reversed Chariot's appearance in a reading can help you become aware of both your aggression, and your lack of willpower. It may either be saying that you are lacking in focus, motivation or direction, or that you are being warped by your obsession with your goals. In the former case, let the Chariot be a reminder that you can emerge victorious as long as you can gather the courage to do so. Mai and Ty Lees betrayal of her was something she could no longer control, she can't control everything, and rather then accept that, shes becoming warped with a want of success for it, and losing control of more things in her life. You can't be perfect at everything, however Azula is both a princess (and so has expectations on her), and very driven and talented and not used to losing, or having a hard time coming to grips with failure,and does not have people she would accept to guide her (her dad is gone, her friends betrayed her, her mom left, her uncle thinks shes evil)

The reversed love reading also fits here

"When reversed, the Chariot tarot love meaning can signal an overwhelming drive to find love, so much so that other goals and aspirations may have been forgotten. Sometimes, one has to remember that in life, we cannot control everything around us, and no matter what we do, we can’t make the perfect person appear to us. At the last Agni Kai, the only relationship Azula has with is work (being royalty).And in overspending in that, she is obsessing for goals that can not be reached. She is all out of balance, no friends left to her, her dad gone,and her brother come to fight her. 

"As the father figure of the Tarot deck, the Emperor suggests that you are adopting this fatherly role (regardless of whether you are male or female), providing for your family, and protecting and defending your loved ones. You may be the breadwinner or the ‘rock’ for those who rely on your stability and security.

Similarly, the Emperor represents a powerful leader who demands respect and authority. Status, power and recognition are essential to you, and you are most comfortable in a leadership role where you can command and direct others. As a leader, you rule with a firm but fair hand. You have a clear vision of what you want to create, and you organise those around you to manifest your goal. You listen to the advice of others, but you prefer to have the final say. Conflict doesn’t scare you, and you won’t hesitate to use your power to protect those you care about. And in return, those people will repay you with the loyalty and respect you deserve. Claim your authority as leader and influencer and don’t let others put you down.

The Emperor reflects a system bound by rules and regulations. You create law and order by applying principles or guidelines to a specific situation. The Emperor card also signifies world knowledge and expertise. You may be a teacher, coach, boss, or just a good friend who likes to take what you have learned and pass it on so that others can be as wise and powerful as you."

So Sokka is at heart a scientist. He likes to create solutions to problems that have a logical progression,he likes to try to have an order, he's the one who wants schedule, who wants to be a leader, and over the course of the series learns to become a good one. Sokka is the visionary. The artist. The learner. 

He doesn't start off that way of course. At the start, Sokka is trying to use his power as older sibling, man of the tribe, and the patriarchy to lead his tribe in a way he really does not know how to. He's not particularly respected as a leader and it shows. 

"The reversed Emperor calls on you to assess your relationship with power, control, authority, responsibility and discipline. Are you expressing too much or too little of these elements in your life right now? Are they working for you or against you?

In the reversed position, the Emperor can be domineering and rigid in his thinking. The card can suggest an over-use and abuse of authoritative power surrounding you. It could originate from you or from another person, often a boss, partner or father figure. And it may be because of deep insecurities or father issues from childhood.

Consider the role that power plays in your life. Are you asserting your power and dominance in a way that leaves others feeling powerless? Or are you giving away your personal power to please someone else, often a father-figure or a person in authority? Seek to find a solution where you lead from a place of personal power and enable others to do the same. Power can be equally and constructively distributed – you don’t need to take it from others, nor do you need to give yours away.

The reversed Emperor may be a sign that others look to you as their leader or as an expert in the field but you are shying away from the role. You may fear being seen as the leader, instead preferring to hide in the shadows or stay out of the spotlight. There may be other ways you can make an impact and influence the world, such as authoring a book or training others to reach a bigger audience.

Sometimes, the reversed Emperor asks you to stand up to authority. "

"Sometimes, the reversed Emperor asks you to stand up to authority. You may feel fed up with an overbearing boss or a hierarchical organisation and feel compelled to enter a more flexible and adaptive environment. Maybe you aspire to be your own boss and work independently by starting up your own business. Or, you may seek a career where you can have greater flexibility and creativity in how you complete your work. You are sick of having to always work within the confines of a particular structure or way of doing things, and you want to break free from it."

So sokka starts in the reverse a little, starts to change his attitude after meeting and fighting justice Sukki. During which, he seeks to change his understanding of the world, and partakes in a cultural and intellectual learning experience of learning and dressing as a Kiyoshi warrior. Its not the first time Sokka  seeks to learn something when in another nation. He's intellectual, artistic, and tactical minded, and understands people better then Azula. 

Sokka and Katata and Zuko and Azula have lots to compare and contrast between eachother. While Katata and Azula could initially have comparisons made between them due to being the powerful bender younger sibs, its zuko and katara who are the more immediate emotional ones. And Sokka and Azula are the more tactical ones. And the ones aiming for leadership. Sokkas better people skills are one of the reasons he succeeds at becoming a good leader, and Azula does not. It might be a part culture thing, as the watertribe would be more communal leadership based on natives as they are, in contrast to Azulas upbringing as a military princess and child soldier. 

Now, I could write a good reading of Katara as empress in contrast to Sokkas emperor.

I could write toph as strength. But really, I lean more twords Katara for it, and its kind of a nice contrast to Azulas chariot.

However, while the Chariot signifies outer strength and will, the Strength card speaks to the inner strength and the human spirit's ability to overcome any obstacle. Strength is about knowing you can endure life’s obstacles. You have great stamina and persistence, balanced with underlying patience and inner calm. When the Strength Tarot card appears in a reading, you are fuelled by your inner strength, personal power, strong will and determination. The strength card is about emotional strength.

A reversed strength card in a reading might also mean that one is experiencing depression because of a number of reasons and because of that, it is draining all of the happiness from their lives.

One might end up being withdrawn from society because of the unhappiness or depression since they may feel people are the reason why they are so sad. It can also be a sign of jealousy, especially when everyone seems to be happy or excelling in every aspect of life while you are stagnating. This card indicates that you must learn to gain confidence in order to re-harness your inner strength."

Now katara is a very emotional person. She never has any trouble speaking her mind, stays stubbornly commited to her goals (learn the water whip), and is very good at supporting others, while also very willing to fight for them if they can not or will not do themself (see the earth bender rebelion she started, or the time she fought Pakku for learning waterbending rights, something that changed things for her and girls in her tribe. 

She has her morals,and has her hard lines. She does lash out emotionally when in a shakey place (a good example is reencountering Jet),and ultimately when she came across the object of her vengeance, she ended the encounter with a compassion of sorts. Not nesscaritly for him, but his mother, that he has family that would miss him too

The Sun card represents success, abundance, and radiance. Like the sun itself, it gives strength and vitality to all those that are lucky enough to feel its rays. There is much joy and happiness that is coming to you.

Because of your own personal fulfillment, you provide others with inspiration and joy as well. People are drawn to you because they are capable of seeing the warm and beautiful energy which you bring into their lives. You are also in a position in which you are capable of sharing your qualities as well as achievements with other people. You radiate love and affection towards those you care about the most. 

The card shows that you have a significant sense of deserved confidence right now. Life is currently particularly good, and the sun is shining your way as you reach the goals that you set. The Sun is one of the cards in the tarot which provide nothing but good feelings and fulfillment."

Ty lee is pretty happy with her goals and lot in life. She generally feels pretty good with her decisions, be it going to the circus, joining Azula on her quest, and is generally an optimist. This optimism on the other hand does mean that she is deliberately not being as insightful into situations as she could be, and it also serves as a way to keep people from looking too deep into hers. 

She comes off as an airhead so brightly its blinding to other perceptions of her. She's happy to be seen this way. Her chi blocking indicates a good amount of body knowledge, both of herself and others, and outside of her sisters, she is finding fulfilment of herself and who she is as an individual

The Sun represents success, radiance and abundance. The Sun gives you strength and tells you that no matter where you go or what you do, your positive and radiant energy will follow you and bring you happiness and joy. People are drawn to you because you can always see the bright side and bring such warmth into other people’s lives. This beautiful, warm energy is what will get you through the tough times and help you succeed. You are also in a position where you can share your highest qualities and achievements with others. Radiate who you are and what you stand for; shine your love on those you care about.

If you are going through a difficult time, the Sun brings you the message you have been waiting for: that things will get better, a lot better! Review of series: WEDNESDAY 

This OTT series is an old comic book which was created as a series in 2022. Starring Jenna Ortega as the main lead as Wednesday. She belongs to the Addams family with some magical powers. Her character and looks reflected as a superbly unengaged goth girl. The first scene shows her as rough and rude. The girl who has no feelings and mercy. She doesn’t even blink her eyes often and it’s rare. In the first scene she will be thrown out of her school filing a case on putting piranhas in pool and killed two boys. But she did it for her brother the guys bullied him for having one testicle. It is awkward but the portrays like that. It is not advised to be watched by kids. 

The next scene is about her parents forced and convinced her to join a school named Nevermore academy which is actually meant for students like her with magical powers and different behaviors. She always thinks that her mom forces her to be like her she acts like she doesn’t like her parents. Her parents were shown as so romantic couples. She gets a friend in school named Enid. She actually doesn’t keep friends and no one like to be her friend because of her careless and rude behavior. Enid becomes her roommate. she is a werewolf but she never transformed. She plays as a caring friend who always be by Wednesday side and never leave her at any cause. The school principal will always keep a eye on her. The school is filled with vampires, werewolf, magicians, gorgons, sirens(led by the meanest girl Bianca.) She also offers tips for navigating her new school and introductions to some of the characters that will become central to the mysteries Wednesday will soon find herself investigating . These include: a number of killings in the local town of Jericho and surrounding woodland by what the police are finding it increasingly hard to deny must be a monster ; possible attempts on Wednesday’s own life; the suggestion that her father Gomez ( Luis Guzmán ) committed murder himself in his youth; and whatever Wednesday’s visions – seemingly fragments of the future – are trying to tell her. Oh, and what of the sketches inside the books in the secret basement that seem to show the future? And student artist Xavier ( Percy Hynes White), who can make his pictures come alive? And, don’t tell me there’s nothing more to Dr Kinbott ( Riki Lindhome ), the therapist in charge of Wednesday’s court- mandated counselling sessions , than meets the eye.

There are also teenage crushes , relationships , a prom , secret societies and other “ normie ” stuff to negotiate. But, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar also gave us Smallville, and know how to handle multiple plotlines crisscrossing the real and supernatural worlds. Plus, the show’s main director is Tim Burton, who knows a bit about this kind of thing too – and gives the whole thing 

It loses something by not setting Wednesday against normality, as the films did, and by having a more crack opening version of the Addams clan. The love and unity of the family against the world was always one of the great pleasures, in whatever incarnation you met them. But it has enough wit, charm and propulsive energy for that not to matter as much as it might have.. One last point. Another great strength of the films was that the Addams parents ( Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia ) were still hot for each other and each as  attractive as the other. It was such a refreshing change from the standard “ comic ” arrangement whereby a great beauty is in that all to an unregenerate school love . In this pairing , we have regressed entirely. In every scene involving the new Morticia and Gomez , at the last the one scene I loved is Wednesday hug back Enid atlast scene which become so emotional and the bond between eachother.

He leads a simple life, having no worries, and does not seem troubled by the fact that he cannot tell what he will encounter ahead.

Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul

Many of Hekate’s followers view Her as something called the Cosmic World Soul. This position includes a number of roles and responsibilities for Her as a goddess that developed out of Her earlier associations. For this post I will be working from my own thoughts and from Hekate Soteira by Sarah Iles Johnston, which is an absolutely essential read for anyone who wants to dive deeper into Hekate’s cosmological roles. The beginning of the post is working directly from the text and is more theoretical and philosophical, but I will summarize at the end. I just want to make sure everything is established before getting into what my experiences and takes on this role of Hekate are. 

What is the Cosmic World Soul?

The Cosmic World Soul is a philosophical and mystical concept that is often attributed to Plato. This Cosmic World Soul represents several different things and is originally not necessarily linked with any one deity in particular. In Plato’s Philebus, he notes that Socrates explains that “the souls of individual bodies are derived from that one which ensouls the body of the Cosmos; this should is similar to, but fairer, than the souls of men” (Johnston 13). Furthermore, this Soul lies at the center of the Cosmos, but is also present throughout its entirety (14). The Cosmic World Soul of Plato is a fundamentally balanced and liminal being or phenomenon, encompassing a unity of opposites and serving as the intermediary between them. Johnston explains that this Soul, “infiltrating and enclosing the entire body of the Cosmos, provides a divine and eternal source of rational life; it is the crowing creation of all intelligible and eternal entities and is endowed with reason and harmony” (14).

The Soul serves as the balance between two worlds, as well as the facilitator of the passage of physical forms and ideas between the two. Furthermore, the Soul also takes part in creation as well. Johnston notes that “the Cosmic World Soul played a role in generating the physical Cosmos” and “also generated, or was the source of, individual souls” (19). So, the Soul is both the axis and middle of physical creation and the Cosmos, as well as that which helps form it. It is balanced and pure and a source of perfect thought and being.

Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul

Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul is largely attributed to the Chaldean Oracles, a set of oracles dated around the 3rd-6th century CE. In these oracles, Hekate sometimes speak directly or is spoken about as the Cosmic World Soul. In this role, She is seen to have three main responsibilities or powers as the Soul, which Johnston lists as “1) transmitter of the Ideas and thereby structurer of the physical world; 2) dividing bond between the Intelligible and Sensible worlds; 3) source of individual souls and enlivener of the physical world and of man” (49). She was said to be a creative fire or Holy Fire which brought about the physical manifestation of divine ideas. She also served as the boundary between realms, the Heavens and the Earth, life and the afterlife, the world of man and the world of the Gods, the world of man and the Underworld, etc. And she also was the body or soul from which every should of every being upon this Earth has come from. Hekate is also given a savior role, hence Hekate Soteira, in which She, “by controlling the crossing of boundaries between humanity and divinity, either could aid the ascent of force the descent of the soul” or was able to provide divine enlightenment or knowledge through theurgy and oracles (Johnston 38). 

Some might think that this seems like a leap for Hekate to be granted this responsibility, but it actually makes a lot of sense considering Her earlier roles. Firstly, as a goddess of the crossroads, She is a goddess of the space of transformation and of liminality, as well as a guide along the pathways of life. Secondly, as a goddess of thresholds and doorways, She represents the middle and intermediary space between domains, just as the Cosmic World Soul does. She also is a goddess of magic, taking active part in the shaping of reality in new ways. Finally, Her role as Mistress of Souls is clearly in line with the Chaldean understanding of Her. Johnston explains that “Hekate was a goddess of birth and a goddess of death, accompanying souls across the greatest boundaries they crossed” (35). Further, She serves as the goddess that is the boundary between life and death, being able to recall the dead from the Underworld and serving as its key-holder. It is not an illogical leap for this system to then understand Her as the source of those souls as well. 

Also, Hekate has a share in every realm of existence. Hesiod in the Theogony explains that Hekate was the goddess Zeus revered above all others and was given a share of the Earth, the Heavens, and the seas. This places Her as a goddess of extreme importance. It would make sense that She would have an active role in the structuring of the world. 

Worshipping Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul

Many people use the epithet Soteira to appeal to Hekate’s role as the Cosmic World Soul. I also use Ourania, or “heavenly”, as it refers to Her cosmic duties. Devotees of Hekate may pray for a kind of salvation or wisdom from Hekate, as well as praying to Her to make circumstances unfold in their favor. 

While Hekate is the boundary between life and death and holds the keys to the Underworld, Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul or as the Savior is an Ouranic role and She should be worshipped as such. This mean cleansing and other normal Olympian ritual procedures should be followed. Offerings for chthonic deities are usually somehow placed into the ground, either by burning them in a pit or pouring them directly onto the Earth. With Hekate, especially in Her role as Cosmic World Soul, offerings may also be done like those of Olympians and done inside the home. 

Hekate as the Savior and the Cosmic World Soul also means that She absolutely has an interest in your well-being and ultimate potential and can be prayed to for growth. Theurgists, priests, and magicians prayed to Her for guidance and divine knowledge, as well as for salvation in the afterlife. To me this indicates an active interest in the well-being of mankind, and an inclination to assist them. Many of the other gods in the Hellenic pantheon may be partial to humans who build kharis with them or are of significant importance, whereas Hekate could be seen to view all humans as equal and favorable. As we are all equal in death and in spirit, Hekate can be appealed to by all as the Cosmic World Soul and the Savior. After all, if we all come from Hekate, there is a part of Her in all of us, and I think that’s really beautiful. And following from this in my own personal understanding of cosmology, Hekate then also has a particular interest in the equality of all beings in life, and can be prayed to for bringing about a more equal world. 

Conclusion

The whole book Hekate Soteira goes much more in depth, but this is my way of summarizing things in a way that makes sense outside of academic language and for the actual worshipper/devotee. Basically, Hekate as the Cosmic World Soul is a pure and harmonious goddess, who is involved in each of our births, lives, and deaths, as well as creating the world around us. This places Her as not a minor goddess which many modern perceptions would, but as the powerful and all-encompassing figure Zeus revered above all other goddesses. Worshipping Hekate in this role can bring a lot of positive change into your life, and brings warmth, love, and transformation to Her followers.
