just finished the season WOW that was intense!!! 😭 i collected my thoughts as i was watching it too heres all of it: (spoilers ahead ofc!!! btw this is really long you were warned)

episode 1 (the blood moon):

ohhh man. ok. he's the best character in the whole damn show imo. he's so pathetic and funny yet not completely lame. he's the kind of character that I always go for where he just makes me laugh and want to walk away from my computer bc hes being so cringe. what a fucking clown. i give him way too much credit as a good person because WOW he can be a super stupid dickhead sometimes huh (just watched the last ep where he encouraged mob to join that thing... bro NO.) also. um. hes a little hot sometimes. ok bye.

My unpopular opinion about this character

he doesnt have as much of a fondness for mob as people thinks he does. I dont think he thinks mob is cute (maybe sometimes when young) and he doesnt think of himself as a father to mob... maybe a mentor/fatherly figure but he knows mob has parents and reigen also does not want a child because the responsibiltiy is way too grand. kind of like... if you visit a friends house to play with their dog. playing w the dog is fun!!! would you want a dog of your own? fuck nah bc then you gotta feed it and take care of it and shit. so whenever ur in the mood u just go over n hang w the dog at ur pals place. I think he thinks mob is an awkward loser. (hes wrong tho mob is amazing fuck u reigen) but also he's scared of mob surpassing him and reigen becoming the awkward loser.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

hmm. two things.

reigen taking care of mob. like bandaging him up after a fight and comforting him or taking care of him when he's sick or something. and then mob is very grateful and reigens heart fills with warmth... oohghhhh family,,,

or reigen being taken care of by somebody. maybe mob! reigen is depressed or sad or wahtever but ppl work hard to brighten his day. I want him to make more friends, I want serizawa to invite reigen out to a school event and reigen meets people! I want reigen to have more friends and be happy and thus become a better person and be taken care of! but also if he gets too egotistical abt it I want him smacked upside the fucking head. also i want someone to mock him and his stupid lil movements.

i think river otters are the ideal animal and for all the credit sea otters get for being cute i believe river otters deserve far more attention. sea otters are vicious beasts their bite force is horrific because they have to be able to break through the shells of sea creatures. their skulls are also quite deformed to accommodate this. river otters, meanwhile, are very cute, in my opinion, and resemble other mustelids far more so theyre naturally lovely animals. i dont think they should fight though. as a californian i should be all "ohhh sea otters wow our beloved special animal" and as a biology major i should go "errrrm keystone species etc" but i like our river otters more. :)

okokok so. ive described them meeting at juice's bar as a meet-ugly before but its not, really, its just not a meet-cute or a meet-nice bc sutton is So Upset. and sutton to me at this point doesn't rlly know how to deal w Bad Feelings™ when she doesnt have crabs to help her, so she's just kind of being a dick. the only reason its not a meet-ugly is bc juice is very very kind and more than that has seen So many blaseball players who just had their worst traumas televised come into her bar. and she's not a therapist but she does care about people! its not like "its ok that sutton is being a dick bc shes Traumatized" its more like. juice understands that sutton being a dick has very little to do with juice, right now, and figures she can probably get an apology later.

basically sutton's thought process right then is: i can absolutely not spend any more time in mrs silks house, a house that is not mine but is somewhere where mrs silk and nagomi are happy to be back together. honestly i think she's angry that nagomi doesn't feel worse abt clab up? and so she has to get out of that house about it. when she ends up at juice's bar she's thinking like...well i dont rly drink but thats a thing ppl do when theyre upset, right?? (juice's response to that being sutton's thought is Absolutely Not, no irresponsible drinking in juices bar) mostly sutton is looking for a place to be that is different. and she sure finds it!! and juice is like wow this person sure is having a nightmare day, lets see what we can do to help them feel Marginally better rn. i havent actually written this but i think sutton orders smth expecting to be given alcohol and juice gives her a shirley temple. RSA- okay one of the asks is refusing to send so I rewrote it. Thea is a ballet dancer primarily for the visual of her as Odette in swan lake (I’m a Tchaikovsky fan). Dian was Indonesian and Thea and Frankie are both from the Mediterranean. Thea specifically is Greek. The two of them met by the coastline. Thea’s original name was Galatea after the Greek myth so maybe Thea is a nickname. Thea 🤝 Mina= having shortened nicknames. Frankie just sleeps in a tub of water under Thea’s bunk.

She also just doesn’t care for them, although she always shows up for her friends’ games.

I like to think that wolfsbane is more common by this time. I mentioned Chiara adopting Finn and the image of her seeing this tiny little werewolf orphan and immediately recognizing him as “son”. Her on full moons and interacting with him like how wolves treat their cubs.

JT and Mina spend time with each other by doing absolutely nothing. Mara has a really big sun hat and really strong sunscreen bc otherwise she’ll burn up.

RSA- kids getting sick and Chiara making sure that their friends don’t get sick as well if they visit them. When Mina’s sick, any plants she grows turn weird. Bananas turning red,strawberries growing to the size of her head, etc. Finn tried one of the bananas despite Mina and Cherry warning him not to (he was fine). I mentioned her having a stuffed otter (his name is mango. She named him when she was five) and she keeps him as she grows older. Mango just lives under the bunk.

RSA- yopi is such a cute name!!! 🥺 how’d you come up with it? Also more stuff about the school. There’s a mural painted by Badeea that shows the founding of the school. The Khanna family planted trees around the school, specifically rowan trees. The library is really big like the kind that someone could get lost in. Rowan knows it like the back of his hand. Kids can be spotted all over, next to bookshelves or at tables, reading the different books or doing their homework.

KAJFKAJSJ kinda funny story actually i had this cute baby toy i still have with me now fjhdksjs i named it yopi bc when i shake it it kinda makes a yow pee sound and im like yes perfect and idk why i assigned that name to adels puffskein maybe bc they have the same energy also cute KDJSKS. pretty mural and rowan trees yess🥺 OOOOO LOVE THAT huge dark academia style libraries ohgod i thrive.

RSA- More winter head canons. Cherry and Finn having a snow fight while Mina watches them out of a window with hot cocoa. She calls Mara “Marshmallow” when they’re alone. Cherry knows, she’s heard them. They’re not as subtle as they think. Penny makes sure Bianca is warm before letting her go out, esp when she’s little. Tiny Bianca waddling like a penguin in two coats and her head wrapped up in a scarf and hat. Bea convinced Penny to relax on that matter after stopping herself from laughing.

Mina originally had an older sister named Skyler (two guesses as to who she was named after) that was friends with Bianca. I ended up cutting her out since she wasn’t that interesting and I changed Bianca’s age to match Mina’s. Speaking of which, Bianca was originally home schooled. The school building went through different designs including domed.
