We need to talk abt more invisible disability rep in the self ship community so.
People with arthritis ur f/o loves you!
People with epilepsy ur f/o loves you!
People with diabetes ur f/o loves you!
People with migraines ur f/o loves you!
People with chronic pain ur f/o loves you!
There is so many more, so many its so hard to name them all, but you are loved by your f/o. Even if you are disabled, not everyone "looks" disabled, but by god you are loved and cared for by your partner, keep going and love that fictional person.
Proship shoo!!!! Get back by my broom!!!!

oh my god ok i might be the last person alive to know this idk but im losing my mind reading Silence of the Lambs because they fucking. they changed the moth for the movie!
the moths featured in the Silence of the Lambs movie and as like the main big promotional cover poster are "Death's-head hawkmoths" - specifically African Death's-head hawkmoths (Acherontia atropos)
i specify because "Death's-head hawkmoth" also refers to the lesser death's-head hawkmoth (Acherontia styx)
and the greater death's-head hawkmoth (Acherontia lachesis)
none of which are the moth named in the novel!
that honor actually belongs to this beauty <3
Ascalapha odorata (referred to in the novel by another name - Erebus odora) aka the Black Witch Moth - a large striking moth of a completely different family of Lepidoptera and the only one of these four moths that occurs naturally in the USA. I can understand the aesthetic decision to go with Acherontia atropos for the stand-out color and the eerie symbolism of the skull marking that death's-head hawkmoths bear, however I'm a little sad the Black Witch moth missed out on her 15 minutes of fame </3

I love you trans women. i love u transfems. I love u transfems who have fucked up unethical kinks (yes including that one). I love u transfems who have had callout posts. I love u fat trans women I love u autistic trans women I love u Black trans women I love u Indigenous trans women. I love u trans women who r mean or defensive or don't behave nicely or are too nice. you deserve to be treated with love and care and you deserve to express your sexuality and anger and age regression and autism and personality disorders and joy and intelligence and stupidity and faux pas and every other little human experience in ways that are not palatable without facing social or interpersonal violence or ostracisism. you deserve everything in the world. safety and love and care and unconditional solidarity and community. you are a beautiful gift to the world whoever you are. I love you forever and I have your back

I honestly feel like something that doesn’t get addressed enough when talking about self improvement irt not being a shitty person is self monitoring. Like
Yes, yes your friends and loved ones should absolutely address it with you if something you’ve done has hurt them, you can’t fix a problem you don’t know exists. It’s good to have those things communicated to you!
But I think when you lean into the “if something is wrong someone else needs to tell me” too hard, it becomes a sort of like. Almost rejection of your responsibility to monitor your own actions. Like it’s important to communicate with your loved ones about this stuff but when you never analyze your own actions and take a pause to consider how your words will affect other people, it hits a point where you’re not putting in the effort to be better; you’re just expecting everyone to do the hard part for you.
And ofc disclaimer that I’m not saying you should over analyze every little thing you do and bend over backwards to make people comfortable around you, what I’m saying is you need to watch yourself for shitty behavior instead of expecting people to always bring an issue to you.
