You stood along with your brothers as your father faced Tonowari and Ronal, the Olo’eyktan and the Tsahìk of the Awa’atlu village. All of you simultaneously signed your greetings.
“Why have you come to us, Jake Sully?” Tonowari asked, holding his staff firm.
“We seek Uturu.” Jake said.
“Uturu?” Ronal repeated, seemingly appalled. You and your siblings glanced at each other, unsure of what’s to come.
“A sanctuary, for my family.” He explained.
Tonowari almost fought back a chuckle, extending his arm out, as if to point towards you. “We are reef people. You are forest people; your skills will mean nothing here.”
You shifted in your place as Ronal walked along you, inspecting. “Well, we can learn your ways, alright?” Jake said, looking at his family. “Yes.” Your mother, Neytiri confirmed.
Ronal then turned to face Tuk, lifting her arm. “Their arms are too thin.” She comments, earning a small “Mom…” from Tuk herself.
“Their tails… are weak, you will be slow in the water.”
You flinched as you felt Ronal grab your tail, you frowned, moving her hand away from your tail. “Watch it..” You say under your breath, looking up, you made eye contact with that one boy earlier, who was making fun of Neteyam and Lo’ak’s tails.
He was smiling at you funny, as if mocking you. He shakes his head at you, chuckling before turning his head to whisper something to his friend, which sent them both laughing.
You furrowed your brows at him, rolling your eyes. You didn’t like him already.
After what felt like forever, Tonowari and Ronal finally agreed to let your family stay.
“Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us.” Tonowari announced amongst his clan, a breath you didn’t know you had been holding was exhaled.
“Treat them as our brothers and sisters— They do not know the sea; so, they will be like babies, taking their first breath.”
You kept your eyes fixated on the ground.
“Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless.” Tonowari finished, and you can just about feel his gaze on all of you.
“Okay, what do we say?” Jake said, looking at all of you.
“Thank you.” Tuk was the first one, followed by you and Neteyam, then Lo’ak and Kiri.
“My son, Ao’nung and my daughter, Tsireya will show your children what to do.”
Your eyes looked up to see the same boy from earlier, making your eyes go wide. He was the chief’s son? That explains the attitude. You both made eye contact again before he steps up to appeal to his father.
“Father why would yo—” You heard him speak before he was cut off by his own.
“It is decided.”
“Come! I will show you our village.” His sister, Tsireya approached with a huge smile on her face, making your heart feel a little at ease. You were thankful somehow that his sister was kind.
After a few days of settling in, the lessons began.
You weren’t thrilled to see the chief’s son, to say the least, and you were pretty sure the feeling was mutual.
The first was when they (mostly Tsireya) encouraged you to swim together.
You stood as you watched the three dived into the ocean so easily.
“Come on, come on!” Neteyam urged you and Lo’ak, making a run for it before jumping off the edge. The two of you followed, yelling out before hitting the water.
Then you were swallowed by the ocean, you opened your eyes to see all kinds of fishes and reefs around you. You swam a bit further, watching the creatures around you swim so gracefully.
Then you saw Lo’ak pointing towards where Tsireya was and you and Neteyam followed, moving your arms to swim towards them.
You followed, but then the need to breathe got stronger as you faced your siblings. You pointed up and they were quick to understand.
Reaching the surface, you gasped for air, so did your brothers. You noticed the others didn’t follow, so you submerged your face back in the ocean to see Tsireya doing something with her hands which sent you confused. But Tsireya just motioned her hands in a ‘come here’ motion.
Taking another breath, the three of you dove back down again. You held onto a reef to stable yourself and you felt a pair of eyes looking at you. You shook it off as Neteyam signaled to go up again with the others.
Following, you reached the surface again.
“Are you alright?” Tsireya asked.
“You’re too fast! Wait for us.” Tuk complained. Tsireya offered her an apologetic smile. “Just breathe.” She spoke.
You did, but it was cut off when the chief’s son, Ao’nung suddenly popped up beside you. You moved away as you looked at him.
“You’re not good divers.” He said looking at you, then Neteyam and Lo’ak.
“Maybe good at swimming through trees but-“ He chuckled but Tsireya’s hand smacked him on the head, which sent you chuckling. He looked at you with a scowl. You just sent him a teasing smile.
“Come on, bro.” Lo’ak said.
“We don’t speak this… finger talk you guys.” Neteyam said, motioning with his fingers.
“Yeah, we don’t understand what you’re saying.” You said to them.
“I will teach you.” Replied Tsireya.

Days passed by and you were learning bit by bit.
Now you were standing in the ocean, watching as Ao’nung called for something. Then you saw them. They were almost as big as you, swimming around you gracefully.
Then Ao’nung faced you, with his hand raised. “If you want to live here, you have to ride… Shouldn’t be too hard for you.” Ao’nung said, although the last bit he looked at you.
You rolled your eyes.
Then it was time to ride the Ilus.
You smiled as you pet its head, it squawked happily at you, nudging its face onto your arm. “Look at you, you’re beautiful.” You speak.
“Are you planning to stand here and rave all day like a baby?” Ao’nung teased, still giving you that same smile from before. You glared at him, turning your face away from him as you made tsaheylu with the Ilu.
You took a deep breath before hopping on, you didn’t miss the way Ao’nung’s hand followed, almost to support you if you fall back into the ocean.
“Get your hand off me.” You hissed at him once you successfully rode your Ilu.
He raises both his arms in surrender, smirking at you, shaking his head.
“Alright, I was just trying to help—”
“Calling the Ilu was enough.” You spoke.
“I’m not so sure about that.” He replied, then he jerked his head towards the ocean. “If you’re so confident, then give it a go.”
You looked towards the ocean, your Ilu breathing steadily below you. You held onto the handle. “Okay...” You smacked yourself mentally for letting your voice falter.
Ao’nung didn’t miss it as he laughed. “What, not scared now, are you?”
“I’m not!” You growled. In a way to spite him, you tugged on your Ilu to go swim.
Your Ilu quickly dived, taking you aback as you tried to hold onto the handle for your life. Your legs wobbled as you tried to place them in between your Ilu.
But the speed was too much to bear as you were forced to let go, sending your body tumbling around in the ocean as you moved to upright yourself.
Ao’nung fully witnessed what happened underwater as he rose to the surface, laughing at you.
You rose to the surface as well, moving your hair away from your face. You could hear Ao’nung laughing behind you as your cheeks warmed in embarrassment.
“Told you so, maybe you should go back to the forest already.” He says to you.
“Shut up.” You said to him, then your Ilu appeared next to you, nudging your side as if to apologize. You moved your attention to the Ilu instead of Ao’nung.
He tilts his head, watching you interact with the creature, the corner of his lip almost twitching into a genuine smile.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Although within those weeks, Ao’nung was nowhere to be found. You took it that maybe he was busy with his hunter duties, that or just maybe he didn’t want to hang out with your kind.
Within the next few weeks, you had been trained by Tsireya and Rotxo to breathe and you could say you were already doing a decent job at it with the way you lasted minutes underwater. Often times all of you would ride on your Ilu’s, going on trips to wherever Tsireya or Rotxo had in mind.
You hated the way you found yourself thinking of where he could be whenever you were out with them. You also cursed yourself more often than not when you would see him passing by and you would be trying to avoid looking at him.
You hated him with every fiber of your being, so why on earth would you be missing him?
Emerging with your Ilu, you let out a deep breath along with your siblings.
“You are learning to breathe.” Tsireya says with a smile on her face.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Then a day came when you were all granted rest.
You chose to spend it with Kiri, your sister, by the ocean as you sat beside her in the water as she was laying stomach down, her head submerged under, looking at something in the sand.
Meanwhile you were sitting with your eyes closed, letting the warmth of the sun hit your skin as your hand swayed underwater, making little ripples.
Your ears perked as you heard sloshing behind you, then a voice followed.
“What are they doing?”
“I don’t know.”
“I would not be surprised if two of them were looking at the sand.”
Then a chorus of laughter.
That gathered you and Kiri’s attention as you turned your head to stand up, Kiri lifting her head with a dazed look on her face as she stood. “Huh?”
Your eyes immediately fell onto Ao’nung’s.
You knit your brows as your ears steered back.
“What did you say?” Kiri asked, you looked at her for a brief moment and you placed your hand out in front of her, to not let her get any closer to them.
“Are you guys… you know, freaks?” Ao’nung asks, his brows raised in amusement. You and Kiri looked at each other as you faced him again.
“Come on, he asked if you guys are freaks.” One of his friends repeated.
“No.” You sassed. “Let’s get out of here, Kiri.”
You began to walk away with Kiri, but they were still on your tail.
“Come on, are you sure? Don’t go already, we’re just asking a question.” His friend said.
You ignored them.
“Look, you’re not even real Na’vi!” Ao’nung says before his hand charged to grab at Kiri’s hand just in time for you to see.
You hissed loudly, dashing in front of Kiri to smack Ao’nung’s hand away from her. Ao’nung didn’t seem bothered, in fact, you thought it only motivated him more to see you that angry.
“Oh, oh.” His friends taunted, then Ao’nung successfully grabbed your wrist, his hold was unyielding as you tried to tug it away from him. “Let. Go. Of Me.” You said through gritted teeth, staring him down.
He looked entertained as he held your wrist up. “I don’t think so, four fingered f—"
“Hey! Back off fish lips!” You and Kiri’s head turn to see Lo’ak walaking towards you.
Ao’nung got distracted so you successfully tore your arm off his hold.
“Aw, another four fingered freak.” He now focused on Lo’ak.
“And look at his little tail!” The other said, tugging on Lo’ak’s tail, prompting Lo’ak to push the other Metkayina away. They began laughing “Look at that baby tail.”
You were not letting Lo’ak get into a fight again.
“Leave us alone!” You shout, trying to push Ao’nung off Lo’ak when Ao’nung turned to you, he acted like he was about to give you a shove when Neteyam suddenly appeared, him being the one to shove Ao’nung away from you.
“You heard what she said, leave them alone.” Neteyam’s voice threatened, pointing at Ao’nung’s chest.
“Back off. Now.” Neteyam warned, a slight hiss to his tone. Ao’nung did what he was told, holding his arms up as he walked back.
“Smart choice,” Said Neteyam before glancing at the rest of his friends “and from now on, I need you to respect my sisters.”
The other Metkayina hissed, while Kiri darted her tongue out at them, and you gave a teasing tight-lipped smile to Ao’nung.
“Let’s go.”
You all began to walk away when they snickered behind you. “Look at them, they’re all freaks, the whole family of ‘em.”
Seems like that was the last straw for Lo’ak as he turned back around on his heel again to approach the group, making you stop in your tracks.
“Lo’ak.” Neteyam called. He knew what his little brother was about to do.
“I got this, bro.”
You and Neteyam look at each other before looking back at Lo’ak.
“What is he doing…” You mumble to yourself.
“I know this hand is funny,” Lo’ak started showing his hand, especially his pinky finger. “Look, I’m a freak. Alien.”
At what Lo’ak said, they started laughing at him again, Ao’nung looked smug, which you just wanted to smack him in the face.
“But it can do something really cool,” Lo’ak continued. He balled his fist, “Watch, first I ball it up really tight like this… Kay? Then—“
You were taken aback as Lo’ak landed a punch on Ao’nung’s face, him being stunned for a second.
Lo’ak took the advantage, landing two more punches on him which sent him tumbling back on the sand.
“It’s called a punch, bitch!” Lo’ak growled. “Don’t ever touch my sisters again.”
The feeling of amusement quickly faded as Ao’nung’s group hissed at Lo’ak, then Ao’nung lunged at him, tackling him towards the ground.
“Ow! Ow!” Lo’ak screamed as he was pulled by his tail, he scurried to get up only to get slapped by the other boy with his tail on the cheek.
You and Kiri stood stunned.
Then Neteyam came forward. “Neteyam—” You called but he was already at the scene, delivering a knee to the gut to one of Ao’nung’s friends. Then they were both tackled to the ground. It was a blur of events.
“Stop!” You spoke. “So stupid!” Kiri added.
“Ow! My tail!” Lo’ak screamed as he was again pulled by his tail, but he retaliated by grabbing the opponent’s ear. “Ow, my ear! Let go!!”
As much as you hated seeing your brothers get beat up, it was an amazing sight to see. Especially you could see how beaten Ao’nung looked. Serves him right.
You and Kiri stifled your laughter at them.
By the looks of things, your two skxawng of a brother were winning.
But the fun had to end.
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
You walked towards your Marui, followed by Neteyam, Lo’ak, and Jake.
“What was the one thing I asked?” Started Jake, looking at his sons. You stood to the side; your head bowed. “The one thing?”
“Stay out of trouble.” Lo’ak answered.
“Stay out of trouble.” Jake repeated.
Neteyam stepped up. “It was my fault.”
“I don’t think so- you gotta stop taking the heat for this knucklehead.” At the mention of ‘knucklehead’ Jake turns to look at Lo’ak.
Lo’ak looked at you before glancing back at his father. “Look, dad, Ao’nung was picking on (Y/N) and Kiri, called them freaks.”
With that, your head perked up as you feel your father’s eyes on you. “Is this true?”
You could only nod.
Jake gritted his teeth. “Go apologize to Ao’nung.”
“What?”
“He’s the chief’s son, do you understand?” Jake said. “I don’t care how you do it, just apologize.”
Lo’ak bit the inside of his cheek before he stormed off.
“For you, (Y/N). See if you can patch up the kid.”
“But wh—”
“Set things aside, you’re the best healer we’ve got. I’m sure the chief and the Tsahik would appreciate it. Just remember, if he tries anything funny, you’re out of there.”
You tried to hiss at your father for making him ask you to do that, but you just bit your tongue, scrambling to get your bowl and the materials needed, before grumbling your way out of the Marui.
Neteyam watched, as much as he wanted to stop you from going, he couldn’t speak up to his father. He then started to walk out of the tent, but his dad stopped him.
“Hey.” Neteyam turns around to meet his father. “So, what’d the other guys look like?”
“Worse.” Neteyam answered. “That’s good.”
With that, Neteyam’s energy picked up as he smiled proudly. “A lot worse.”
“Alright, get outta here.”
. ⋅ ˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
With every step you took felt like a death sentence.
You carried your bowl, already prepared with the paste you used to treat wounds back in the Omatikaya clan.
Soon enough, you approach the Marui of the chief.
With a deep breath, you slowly walked in.
It revealed Ao’nung sitting down while the Tsahik, Ronal seemed to be glaring at him as Tonowari stood tall, also carrying the glint of disappointment in his eye. But it was quick to disappear once he spots you.
“Jake Sully’s kid, (Y/N), what are you here for?”
“Olo’eyktan, Tsahik.” You greet with a bow. You could feel Ao’nung’s eyes on you.
With a deep breath, you tightened your grip on your bowl. “My father has asked for me to treat your son. I am most skilled in healing back in Omatikaya.” You held your words perfectly.
Ronal was looking at you now, you could feel your hair rising from the way she looked.
Tonowari seemed to appreciate the effort.
“That is a great gesture. But first I have to apologize in behalf of my son, I did not expect him to act this way.”
You felt somewhat relieved as you nod. “It is appreciated, Olo’eyktan.”
Tonowari turns toward Ronal. “Our son is in good care now, we must run through our duties for the day.”
He walks out and Ronal followed but stopped next to you.
You almost gulped as you turned to face her.
Ronal stared at you before she closed her eyes and nodded at you before leaving you with Ao’nung.
You were certainly terrified of the Tsahik.
But now you shifted your attention to the boy in front of you, he was still sat, looking at you.
“I don’t like this any more than you do. I’m only here because my father has asked me to, when you know very well I wouldn’t waste my time with you.” You firmly said, sitting on his side as you placed the bowl beside you.
Ao’nung, for the first time stayed silent.
You dipped your fingers in the paste, reaching up to his face but he tilted his head back.
Huffing in annoyance, you moved to sit up. “If you don’t want my help then I’ll just go back to my brothers. They need me more than you.”
“No.”
You furrowed your brows, sitting back down.
This time, he let you apply the paste to the arch of his brow, he hissed for a moment but breathed out instead.
He looked like he was searching for words to say.
“I’m sorry.”
You paused, your index and middle finger stuck on his brow.
“Again?” You said, looking at him.
He was about to reply with another sarcastic quip of his but he decided against it, wanting to really talk with you this time, seriously.
“I said I’m sorry.”
You were taken aback, but you nodded. “I thought I’d have to meet Eywa first before I can hear you say that.” You joked.
Ao’nung half-heartedly chuckled at your remark.
“But I do not know if you really mean that.” You say, now continuing to apply the paste to his injuries.
“I do mean it.” He says, staring at you.
You looked at him, this time you only realized how stunning he looked.
For Ao’nung, seeing your face this close sent his thoughts on a frenzy, were you really this breathtaking before?
“But that still doesn’t justify the way you treated us. Why must you hate us this much?” You say, removing eye contact with him to focus on his wounds.
“I do not- I do not hate you.” He said.
“Then why treat us like this? Calling us a freak. I know we’re different, laced with demon blood- but we’re still the same as you, we grew up here in Pandora, we eat the same, we work the same as you do. How are we any different as a Na’vi?”
Ao’nung was silent again. You were right. It was the first time someone talked to him like that and it stunned him.
“Forgive me. I do not know what else is out there, I’ve only been used to the ocean, with our people. Seeing you guys felt different.”
You understood his side. This time, you applied a cooling paste to his bruises to lessen the pain.
“So you don’t hate me?” You asked.
“No. But I understand if you hate me.” Ao’nung said.
You sigh. “I only acted like this because of how you did. But hey,” you offered your clean hand to him with a smile.
“Since we now understand where we came from, I hope this can give us a fresh start. Truce?”
Ao’nung looked at your hand before looking at you.
He shook your hand softly, squeezing. It sent some kind of electric shock into his veins straight to his heart. He liked the idea.
When you felt Ao’nung’s hand grip yours, you instantly felt relieved, a slight purple hue tinting your cheeks as he gave your hand a light squeeze.
“Truce.”

my man my man my man
pairing: dom!tsu'tey x bimbo!reader
genre: smut, 18+
notes: I wrote this a while ago and posted it here, but took it down again bc I HATED IT. Anyway, here is Tsu’tey having a soft spot for his dear, needy, bimbo mate.
warnings: mature and explicit themes, face sitting , marking, like some begging, overstim, v penetration (tongue), oral (f receiving), light spanking, use of good girl bc i cant get over it.
Tsu’tey was a serious man, renowned for his stoic and cold demeanor. He didn’t budge for anything, his face always wearing the look of a bored man. However, there was but one who could bring out the person in him. You. He usually despised people who could not be left unsupervised, hated the fact that they were so dependent on other na’vi, couldn’t grasp why they couldn’t fend for themselves. But you were his exception, he would do anything for you, everything.
And he did. You were the clan's beauty, but not brains. Not very good at hunting, nor healing, nor collecting. Your job consisted of walking around the forest, looking pretty. And Tsu’tey, unexpectedly, loved it. He couldn’t get enough of your cluelessness, your innocence. His want, no his need to be the one you relied on, counted on, came to when you needed something was overwhelming. It was easily noticable in the way he was so overprotective of you, so set on doing everything for you, all that you asked.
Well, tonight you had stood before him with a single request falling from your plush lips, your blue skin hot and sweaty, indicating that your heat had finally started. Yours and Tsu’tey's relationship hadn’t been going on for very long, you hadn’t even mated yet. Partly because you didn't really know what it was, but also because you hadn’t been in heat since the two of you got together. He had though, multiple times, and each time you had offered to help him so obediently, completely oblivious to how vulgar the actions the two of you indulged in were. So obviously, he was going to help when you stood before him, pretty doe eyes staring up at him, asking him for a simple favor.
Now you hovered over him, not daring to put your full weight on his awaiting mouth. This was new to you, you had never experienced anything like this before. And when Tsu’tey had asked you if you wanted to try, it had taken you a good while to understand what he meant.
Grunting into your soaked cunt, his large hand dealt a smack to your ass. He mumbled into your pussy, sending vibrations through you.
“Sit down, yawne.” His tongue ran over your clit, hands settling on the plush of your hips. He gently pressed you down. You finally sat down on him, though hesitant, but the groan emitting from his chest reassured you.
“That's a good girl.” Now he could finally do what he wanted. He slipped his tongue into your cunt, flat, big nose rubbing your puffy clit with each roll of your hips. It felt good, too good. You swore you had never felt anything better than this. Your mind was hazy, clouded with a feeling you had never experienced before.
You closed your eyes, soft lashes fluttering with each wave of pleasure your lover's tongue sent through you. Tsu’tey watched as your beautiful face contorted in pure bliss, the way your cheeks dusted with pink, the way your canines gently bit into your plump lips. You were so beautiful, so pretty, yet so oblivious.
You sucked in a breath as an unfamiliar feeling began building in your lower stomach, freaking out, you looked down to Tsu’tey. His eyes were already on you, hungrily scanning your entire body. The feeling grew and you subconsciously grinded your hips harder against your lover's eager mouth.
The wet sounds of Tsu’tey’s mouth on your sopping cunt filled your shared hut, forcing a deep purple to settle on your face. A last suck on your clit sent you over the edge, arousal gushing from your cunt. But Tsu’tey didn’t stop, his tongue continued toying with your, now sensitive, bundle of nerves, occasionally lapping up your juices.
“‘Tey plea-” A rough flick to your clit interrupted your sentence. “Please, t’hurts ‘tey” you pleaded, trying to lift yourself off him. But he was stronger than you, and he easily pushed your hips down towards him again. His tongue invaded your insides, ravaged your velvet walls as they spasmed around his wet muscle.
He moaned into you as a series of whimpers and mewls fell from your plush lips. The moan sent a wave of vibrations through your throbbing pussy, ripping another orgasm from your overstimulated body. When Tsu’tey felt your walls flutter around him, he pulled away.
“There you go, yawne, feel better now?” He asked as your body fell limp against his own. You nodded tiredly as he cradled you, praising you and complimenting your good work. Your eyes shut themselves, your tired body soon dozing off in the arms of your soon-to-be mate.

“Quaritch is rolling the gunships, he’s going to hit Hometree.”
Trudy spoke out of breath due to running, holding her helmet.
You moved, standing up. “He can’t-“ What the hell?
“My God.” Grace says, before she sprints towards the control room, followed by you, Jake, and Norm.
“Dr. Augustine, you cannot be up here!” A guard says to her. You shoved him out of the way in frustration. “Back off.” You said, you weren’t about to let them destroy Hometree.
“Parker. Wait, stop. These are people you’re about to...” Grace said before the guard yanked at her again which made you angry, pushing him away from her. “I said back off.”
“No, no. They’re fly-bitten savages that live in a tree!” Parker says, pointing at Grace. “All right? Look around! I don’t know about you, but I see a lot of trees. They can move!”
“There are families in there. There are children in there. Babies. Are you gonna kill children?” You questioned. You were fuming as you stared Parker down.
“You don’t want that kind of blood on your hands. Believe me.” Jake said. “Just… let me try to talk them out. “They trust me.”
Parker looks at the three of you before he gives in.
“Calibrate fast. We’re going in, right now.” Grace commanded as the three of you along with Jake rushed towards the link units.
“Calibrating three, four, and five.” One said as you approached the link unit as it opened.
“Run sequence.”
“Initiating. Thirty seconds.”
You hopped on your link unit, placing the frame onto your body.
The last thing you see was Selfridge going to Jake, saying something to him as the unit closed.
You were panicking.
Closing your eyes, you opened them to find yourself back at Hometree. You blinked back a few times before standing abruptly, looking around for Grace and Jake. Once you’ve spotted them standing up. You rushed over to them. “Let’s go.” Jake said.
“Ma senpu, ma sa’nok!” Neytiri calls, gathering the attention of the olo’eyktan and the tsahik.
“Eyktukan, I have something to say.” Jake spoke, looking at them while you and Grace stood back. “Listen to him.” You said, your eyes meeting Tsu’tey’s.
“Speak, Jakesully.” Eytukan granted him the permission. “A great evil is upon us… The Sky People are coming to destroy Hometree.”
The people reacted, huffing out. You looked around, face contorting in worry.
“Look, tell them they’re going to be here soon.” Jake said to Neytiri as she translates the message. “You have to leave. Or you’re going to die.” Jake continued. “Are you certain of this?” Mo’at asked.
You looked at Jake, then back at Tsu’tey. “Look. They sent me here to learn your ways. So one day I could bring this message and that you would believe it.”
You watched as Neytiri turns to face Jake towards her, her hands feeling like they were being burned from touching Jake as they extend and retract on his chest. “What are you saying, Jake? You knew this would happen?”
“Yes.”
“Look, at first, it was just orders, and then everything changed.” Jake talked to Neytiri. “Okay? I fell in love. I fell in love with the forest and with the Omaticaya people. And with you.”
You frowned as you saw Neytiri’s tears fall. Then her ears fell. “I trusted you…” Her voice cracked. “With you..” Jake convinced. “I trusted you!”
“Trust me now, please-“
Neytiri screamed at Jake, looking at you and Grace before she returns her gaze to Jake, shoving him away from him. “You will never be one of The People!”
You heart ached. “We tried to stop them-“ You tried to explain but Neytiri held her palm up, turning her head away and going behind her mother. You looked at Tsu’tey.
He was angry, he was distraught. How could you do this to him? After everything… after he had taught you their ways, fell in love with you, and... even chose you in front of Eywa. His eyes that once looked at you with fondness now glared at you with hate, resentment. He hadn’t uttered a single word to you.
“Bind them.” Eytukan commanded as he was quick on his feet, not sparing you a glance as he held Jake down.
You now felt yourself being tugged, you swallowed, looking up at them. “You have to go. They’re coming.” You begged.
“You have to leave now!” Grace says. You were pushed down to your knees as your hands were bound. All you could do was frown as they had decided to fight.
The three of you were bound to a post in a line. The people were gathered around you, waiting. Then you heard it, the choppers.
“Go! Please!” You spoke. “Run to the forest!” Jake shouted. “They will destroy this place!”
“Neytiri, you must go now.” Grace said, but it was ignored. Then they were in front of you. “Have no fear!” Tsu’tey shouted. “Tsu’tey, please!” You said, fighting against your restraints. He ignores you. “Take the Ikran, attack from above.” Eytukan commanded Tsu’tey as he followed, running towards Hometree but he paused for a moment as he looked at you.
There it was still, resentment. However, his eyes also held sorrow. “Tsu’tey…” You called but he shakes his head, yelping at his teammates as they went and climbed inside Hometree.  Your eyes then caught sight of the gas cans being launched at you, smoke clouding your vision as you heard the people coughing, trying to get out.
Eytukan had then commanded to open fire, their arrows doing little to no damage on the RDA aircrafts. Then your eyes widened as they switched to the rockets, hitting Hometree square on the ground. “No!” Jake screamed as the missiles kept firing and firing. Then a chill ran down your spine.
Tsu’tey was still in there.
“Stop!” You screamed. Your heart pounding as tears rolled down your face. “Get everyone to the forest!” Eytukan signaled, leaving the three of you still bound.
“Neytiri!” Jake called to her, but she just gave a blank stare as she walked away.
“We gotta move, he’s gonna blow the columns!” Jake said to the two of you. You breathed in deeply, tears clouding your vision as you tried to break free from your restraints. “I- I can’t.” You spoke out. “You can, come on now, (Y/N)!” Jake says, struggling to break free from his own.
Then you see Mo’at approaching as you blinked, carrying her knife as she approached the three of you, her knife dangerously travelling to Jake’s neck.
“Mo’at, no!” Grace pleaded. With tear-stricken face, Mo’at cries out. “If you are one of us, help us.”
She then cuts Jake’s rope, freeing him. Next it was you, then Grace.
“This way!” Jake said, you followed him, your eyes couldn’t help but look around you as the people still struggled. Then another round of missiles rained down.
It exploded, sending a wave strong enough to knock you over the branch as you coughed out. “Come on, Grace. Move!” Jake says, helping Grace to hop over the fallen huge branch. Then you supported Mo’at in crossing over as you hopped over in time as large missiles came.
“Head down!” Jake says. “Down, down!” He says, as you hid yourself behind the tree branch. Explosions rang left and right as your lip quivered. All you could think about was Tsu’tey.
Then the final blow hit. Leaves started to fall amongst you. You heard it. The large creaking sound of the base of the Hometree snapping.
Everyone looked up in horror as they knew what was coming next. “Go. Go!!” Jake pushed you in front of him as you ran. You looked back and forth as you ran, your face scrunching as you ran for your life.
Separate branches then fell. You were about to run into one when Jake yanked you towards him. “No, no, get back! Back!”
The screams from around you had struck your heart, your whole body feeling frozen as you hear their screams become muffled as Hometree finally surrenders, dropping.
You kneeled as you watched around you. Destruction. There were flames and sparks everywhere. Smoke still hanging in the air. You grasped at the ground beneath you, closing your eyes shut as you hear Mo’at scream in terror at what just happened.
It followed by more screams and cries. You couldn’t take it. You stood up, walking around to see if the rest of the people are still okay, somehow. Your breathing became ragged as you tried to look for a sign of Tsu’tey. You prayed to Eywa with all your might that he must’ve made it out alive.
You feel fresh tears running down your face as you walked with the people. Jake excused himself, saying he was going to look for Neytiri. You began walking with Grace, with your heart heavy. Grace frowned from beside you, going to wrap an arm around your shoulder to rub your arm.
Then Parker pulled the plug.
You were still walking when Grace suddenly dropped down, lifeless. “Oh no…” Was all that you managed to say when you feel yourself slip from your consciousness, dropping alongside her.
The children around you were alerted. “Tsahik!” They called out to Mo’at.
Suddenly, you were back in the link unit as it opened. Anger. That was all you felt as the first guard you see hovering above you was given a punch on his face. He pulled you out from the link unit as your hands were bound yet again. “You murderer!” You hear Grace scream at Parker.
“How could you?!” You shouted as you were being yanked to stay still.
Now you were detained. You had your head in your hands as your thoughts ran almost a million miles an hour.
“What’s going on, brother? Long time no see.” You heard Trudy say, making you look at her to see her pushing in a tray carrying food. “Personally, I don’t feel these tree-hugging traitors deserve steak.” She chuckled.
“They get steak? That’s bullshit. Let me see that.” The guard spoke, crouching down and opening the cart door.
You saw how Trudy approached him and then bought a gun out, making your eyes widen. She then aimed at his head. “Yeah, you know what that is. Down, down.” Trudy said, making the man lay on his stomach with his hands up. “All the way down.” She said, before raising her hand and smacking the gun on the back of his head, rendering him unconscious.
“Trudy!” You hear Norm say. “Max!” Trudy called out and Max comes into view, typing something on the padlock and the door opened.
All of you now were running to get to Trudy’s samson. “Trudy, fire up the ship, go!” Jake said, making Norm and Trudy head to the outside.
You also reached the first door, pulling it open and going over to grab your mask, handing one to Grace, and Jake. “Max, stay here. I need someone on the inside I can trust.” You heard Jake say as you handed him his exopack.
Reaching samson 1-6, you helped carried Jake onto the chopper, once he was on, you quickly handed his wheelchair to Norm. “Come on!” Trudy said, knowing that her unauthorized engine start was now notified.
Then bullets sped past you as you helped Grace get back on, the last one to board was you. “I’m taking fire, let’s go!” Trudy shouted.
“Come on, (Y/N)!.” Norm said, pulling you up. You held onto him as you managed to sit down, exhaling. Now you were up in the air.
“Yeah! Wohoo!” Jake and Norm cheered. “Everybody alright back there?” Trudy asked.
You were about to reply when you felt it. A wet sensation on your side, warm, sticky. You breathed out, placing a palm against it, making you wince as you saw that your hand was covered in blood. Your blood.
You gasp out a breath. “Fuck.”
Jake had a smile on his face when he turned to face you, but that quickly dropped when he saw the bloodstain on your side. “(Y/N)’s hit!” Jake said. “Oh, shit.” Grace said, inspecting you.
“What?” Trudy said, looking back. “Get the trauma kit!” Jake said to Norm. “Trauma kit’s forward, on the bulkhead.” Trudy says. “Keep the pressure on, (Y/N). Hang on, alright?” Jake said as you squinted in pain, the adrenaline leaving your body as you were about to possibly bleed out.
Reaching the link shack, Norm had linked to his avatar to monitor the outside as the link shack you were currently in was now being hoisted up by Trudy’s chopper. You laid against the fluid gel pack on one of the link units. Trauma kid had been applied and you weren’t feeling any better.
You then felt Grace inject something on your arm as her face contorted in worry. Jake revealed the blanket covering your body to see the bandage was already beginning to get soaked further of your blood. You clenched your jaw, eyes fighting to stay awake.
“I’m gonna get you some help, (Y/N).” Jake promised, placing a hand on your arm after he places the blanket back on you again. “You have to be strong, hold on (Y/N). The People can help you, I know it.”
You let out a shaky sigh “Why would they help us?” You shifted, but every move you made hurt. Jake looked at you, biting the inside of his cheek. “Get some rest, alright? We’re almost there.” He only said, patting your head as he moved away. You closed your eyes.
After Jake had claimed Toruk, he now had to face the people.
“Tsu’tey te Rongloa Ateyitan, I stand before you… ready to serve the Omaticaya people. You are Olo’eyktan, and you are a great warrior. I can’t do this without you.” Jake said to Tsu’tey, his eyes pleading.
Tsu’tey thinks, blinking to look at Toruk before he looks back at Jake, nodding. “Toruk makto, I will fly with you.” He said, placing a hand on his chest, however. The next words that came out of Jake’s mouth had a chill sent to his spine.
“My friend is dying. (Y/N) is dying.”
Tsu’tey’s mouth went agape, he had been occupied with his anger, hate, and grief that he had forgotten where you were, or where your body was. He didn’t even find himself asking for you after the aftermath of the destruction of Hometree. Tsu’tey backs away, looking at Mo’at then back at Jake. “I beg the help of Eywa.” He speaks.
Tsu’tey’s brows furrowed “Where is she?” he demanded. The need to see you overcame him as his heart drummed in his chest. Jake’s eyes flickered over to Tsu’tey. “She’s here.”
You stirred awake as you blinked, the bright bioluminescent lights almost blinding your weak frame. You then see Jake, in his avatar, then Neytiri from beside you as she was wrapping you in something. “Stay with us, come on (Y/N).” Jake said.
“Be strong.” Neytiri adds, looking at you, placing her huge hand on your shoulder as you were laid down.
Then you spot Jake and Neytiri looking at someone before they stood up. You let out a deep breath as the face of the man you had wanted to see for the longest time appeared. “Tsu’tey…?” You muttered weakly.
Tsu’tey swallowed the lump in his throat seeing you. It was the first time he ever saw you in this form, your true form. You were small, smaller than him. You were weak as your eyes flutter open and close just to see his face. He bites his lip. This was truly you. The one he was mated with. It left a deep ache in his heart seeing you in this state, not even knowing the chance of your survival.
Tsu’tey inches closer, his hand going their way to place them on your head, down to your cheek, but it was covered due to your mask. You might live, or you may die.
“I see you.” You whisper weakly to him, a smile etching on your face as you reached up to him, your hand barely covering his cheek as he instinctively leaned into your touch. “I see you.” Tsu’tey answered, yet his heart felt regret.
“They’re ready.” Jake announced.
You and Tsu’tey looked at each other before he carefully swept you up in his arms.
Making their way towards the Tree of Souls, you opened your eyes, seeing this beautiful sacred site in your own form was overwhelming. You looked around, gasping. “This place…it is truly beautiful.” You mutter, only Tsu’tey could hear as he looked down at your awe-struck gaze.
Jake carried your avatar body as he laid it to the side. The people were gathered around as Tsu’tey now carefully laid you on the other side. You felt the cold ground. Then you had the feeling of vines crawling their way onto your body, trapping you in a hug, almost.
“The Great Mother may choose to save all that she is, in this body.” Mo’at explained to Jake as Tsu’tey never left your side. “Is that possible?” Jake asked. “She must pass through the eye of Eywa and return.” Mo’at answered. “But Jakesully, I feel her getting weak.”
Tsu’tey swallowed the forming lump on his throat as his eyes darted between your human form and your avatar. His hand going over to hold your shoulder. He nudges his forehead to the side of your head, a rare show of vulnerability coming from Tsu’tey. He scrunches his eyes closed, muttering his prayer with all his might.
“Do not leave me, tìyawn. Eywa, bring her back to me. Give her strength. Do not let her leave this world without me. Ma Eywa, it is all I ask.” Tsu’tey muttered against you, as tears formed in his eyes, dropping onto you.
Jake could feel the same ache in his heart watching the two of you. He treated you like the sister he never had, it had him closing his eyes, wishing that Eywa could hear his prayers. Grace, now in her avatar form stood side by side with Norm as she has a frown etched on her face watching Tsu’tey being vulnerable.
The moment Tsu’tey sat back up and looked at Mo’at, she had then commenced the consciousness transfer. Then the ritual chant began as the people held each other as they closed their eyes, praying that you might cross the eye of Eywa.
Tsu’tey chanted, keeping his eyes trained on you.
“Hear us, All Mother.” Mo’at praised. “Eywa, help her.” The people chanted. “Take this spirit with you and breathe her back to us.”
“Let her walk among us as one of The People.”
All you saw was a bright light, then memories flashed around you, in your human form, when you were little, then up to now as you watched yourself falling in love with Tsu’tey.
Eywa had known you. She knows you. She was real.
Standing there, you felt a wave of peace rush over you as your skin glowed. Looking, you spot a path, then you felt this urge to keep fighting. Breathing in, you feel yourself walking, jogging, that turned into a full on sprint as you desperately chased the end of the glowing pathway.
“Do not leave me, tìyawn. Eywa, bring her back to me. Give her strength.” You hear Tsu’tey’s voice echoing around you. Making you push yourself as you ran.
I am not leaving you. I will come back. Great Mother, hear me.
You finally reached the end as you were enveloped in a bright flashing light.
Tsu’tey’s eyes looked at Mo’at as her chanting stopped. His heart felt like it was about to burst from his chest as Mo’at ordered them to stop.
Tsu’tey and Jake circled around you as Tsu’tey carefully inspected your human body. Your eyes were closed as you heaved your last breath. Tsu’tey then jumped over towards your avatar form, his hand going over to your shoulder as Jake stayed with your human form. Mo’at hovered her hands above your human body towards your avatar.
Tsu’tey still glued to your side as his eyes never left your face. “What’s happening, did it work?” Jake frantically asked.
The vines running around the Tree of Souls glowed brighter than ever, almost blinding.
Tsu’tey then laid you on your back, his hand going over to cup your neck as he carefully hoisted your upper body in his arms.
“Tìtxen si, ma yawne. (Wake up, my beloved).” Tsu’tey whispers against you.
And then he feels that Eywa had heard The People’s prayers as your avatar stirred, then you opened your eyes.
Tsu’tey was the first one to see as he pulled you close to him. “Thank you, Great Mother, you have returned her to me. I am forever thankful.”
Jake rushed over to him as you awoke in your new body.
“Tsu’tey…” You said, a smile now crawling on your face.
“Hey there, big baby.” Jake said, breathing out his relief as he looked at you. You glanced at him and you shake your head. “Look who’s got you crying.” You said to him as he chuckled, the last of his tear rolling down his face.
“She has returned to us!” Mo’at smiled as the people yelped and cheered.
“Thank you, thank you.” Jake said, looking up at the Tree of Souls.
Tsu’tey still held you in his arms, eyes scanning your face as you smiled at him. Eywa has returned you, Eywa has returned you to him. He nuzzles his forehead to yours, closing his eyes as you reached up to cup his cheek. “I thought I had lost you.”
Even though the looming threat of the RDA still hung, Tsu’tey could not be bothered as he feels you breathe beneath him.
He was then filled with determination as he looks at The People. He was going to do everything he can so they could win this fight. He then glanced back at you. He was going to fight for you.
He was going to fight for a future with you.

I fell in love with the Devil and now I'm in trouble
I fell in love with the Devil
I'm underneath his spell
Someone send me an angel to lend me a halo
I fell in love with the Devil
Please, save me from this hell
I fell in love with the Devil (Avril Lavigne)
This song always reminds me of how betrayed Neytiri felt after she mated and bonded through tsaheylu with Jake, only to find out later that he had been working for the RDA, even if he changed sides after getting to know the na'vi.

What if I just. Made a self-insert OC to be friends with Ey'ani.
I'll call her Leo for now! She is a newly-graduated baby veterinarian doing her residency with a conservation team on Pandora. She wants to be able to help the alien wildlife, and reverse some of the damage that the RDA did!

Moving your eyes shut as you breathed in the forest air, you soon exhaled through your mouth after a few moments. Your ears flickered as you heard the noises of nature surrounding you.
You were sat on the grass, your fingers skimming over the ground.
There was a beautiful river by your area, the rustling of the waves acting like white noise as you could spot some fishes swimming through.
Deciding to take some time to yourself today, you always find yourself in this spot, often times you would do your hobbies here, including weaving.
But now, you haven’t got anything with you except your dagger strapped to your side, in case any unwanted scenarios happen. You sigh.
Then you remembered another hobby of yours that you just mainly kept to yourself, soon enough you started humming.
Shortly after, you were singing. For the most part, you didn’t really consider yourself a great singer, but singing had also become a way to relieve any kind of stress you had, whether it be a horrible day or you just wanted to sing your heart out.
You closed your eyes, getting to the middle part of the song, feeling the vibrations in your throat.
Without your knowledge, there was a pair of eyes looking at you from behind, hidden behind a tree.
Alas, you continued, smiling as you were nearing the end of the song.
The hunter watching you was taken, as if he’d never heard quite a voice like that before. It was like he was being blessed by the spirits.
Its like the tensions he felt in his body was suddenly lifted off.
Then you finished, deciding to hold the tone out for a few more seconds.
Letting out a deep breath, you smiled.
The Na’vi could feel the edge of his lip curling into a smile, shaking his head. Then he made the move to approach his mate.
Once you were preparing yourself to stand up to return to the village, you heard a twig snap from behind, making your ears perk up as your head snapped towards the direction of the noise.
Seeing his face had your eyes widen and your mouth dropping open in surprise.
“Tsu’tey?” You utter.
“I did not know you could sing that well.” Was the first thing he said, coming closer to you.
You suddenly felt little. You looked down, avoiding his gaze. “You heard all of that? I thought you were out for a hunt—”
“I was. But I heard this voice singing, never thought it would be you.” Tsu’tey admitted, moving his fingers to your chin, he slowly lifts your chin up, making you look at him as he retracted his finger.
“Why did you not tell me?”
“I have never really told anyone.” You said, looking at his sharp features.
His face scrunched into a light confusion before nodding. “But you are good, ma (Y/N).”
Your heart spiked at his compliment.
“Thank you.” You reply.
Tsu’tey softly places his hand on the small of your back. “I see you are headed back, why won’t you sing for me as we walk, yawntutsyìp? (darling?).”
You opened your mouth but you felt your cheeks rush with warmth.
“How can I not say no to that?”
Tsu’tey gives you a warm grin as he leans in to nuzzle his forehead to the side of your head, planting a feather-light kiss.
Finding satisfaction in his showing of affection, you find yourself holding onto his arm as you two stroll back to the village, with Tsu’tey in awe as you sang for him.

I hate Quaritch but I also really adore him but I also want to bash his head open with a rock
So I have a lot of thoughts on Quaritch as a character as well as what he represents in the greater message of Avatar; I want to clarify that I admit that I have many biases, due to my very strong connection to my ethnic background, many of the themes of Avatar affect me on a more personal level. Though I usually try to put my own reactionary feelings to the side and stay objective, when it comes to this character I simply cannot do so, and therefore this will probably be my most emotionally charged Avatar take 😭
So I hate Quaritch, like deeply, as in my biggest dream is for his story to end with him being shot in the chest 2384884933 times by na'vi arrows, preferably Neytiri's arrows. Now, I've tried to unpack why he of all villains gets to me so much, because despite all of his infractions, he's not as bad as other villains that don't nearly get as much visceral hatred from me. Quaritch is far from the only unempathetic, xenophobic maniac that jumps with glee at the chance to kill some natives if it benefits his side in media, yet he's the one I want to strangle with my bare hands the most. After some deep reflection I've finally realized why.
It's because he's so real.
It's a simple answer, but it really opened my eyes to how and why so many of Avatar's themes hit such a personal cord with me; it's all so real. I remember being told by an old history professor of mine that many people have the capability to be Hitler, but few have the power to do so. He said that there are many diet Hitlers walking around, people with the same ideology, people with the same thirst for power, people with the same hatred and bigotry. It could be your barista, it could be the lady sitting beside you on the train. Hitler is not a rare individual, he was simply a politically powerful version of an individual we encounter everyday. That is to say, these evil people in history are not really uniquely evil nor are they these one dimensional beings, they are in fact what you get if you give some ordinary people more power than they need.
Now what does any of that have to do with Quaritch and how "real" I claim he is? Well, it all makes me understand that the reason my dislike for Quaritch is so much more deep-rooted than most villains is because he represents a very real, very common person. He is the overly patriotic military fanboy that treats indigenous lives as disposable, he is the America first guy that defends any and all invasions into other (often times less powerful) countries if he feels it benefits the nation. He is the anti-indigenous racist who thinks modern natives are larpers and believes historical natives were savages and that they deserved what they got. He is the terrifyingly ignorant guy who's views are so outdated that you wonder how he functions in modern society.
Now, Quaritch himself isn't really all of those things and doesn't outwardly ascribe to all of those things in either film, but his personality, position in the military and his role in the narrative of Avatar seem to – at least to me – represent what happens when you give this archetype of person the power he has. With that, as much as I hate him, I also love him for this.
Quaritch isn't unrealistic, he isn't this cartoonishly evil bad guy who only feels rage and hatred and wants to destroy Pandora just because, in fact he doesn't even want to destroy Pandora. James Cameron could have easily went with making both him and the RDA out to be these soulless evil entities that destroy and kill everything just for the fuck of it. Instead, he went with the more realistic approach, the RDA represents real life corporate greed that destroys the planet and seeks to devour anything that can make it a quick buck, and Quaritch represents the sort of bigoted, ignorant and VIOLENT man you may encounter at least once or twice a week depending.
The only difference is the one you think of when you read those words is just some guy, whilst Miles Quaritch has the power to actually act on those things. I genuinely adore this type of writing, because I feel it's very easy to detach ourselves from stories like Avatar because the antagonists are always so one dimensional and evil just because. You can't do that with Avatar, because most of what you are watching is based on and inspired by reality; there are many Quaritch-like people walking around, they just don't have the power and backing he does.
So yeah, TLDR: I hate Quaritch because of how evil he is but I also love him because of how evil he is. He's a really good villain that makes my blood boil and I actually don't mind him being the antagonist in the coming films.
