“What’s a four letter word for ‘a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen’?” Harry’s voice came from the bed.

Draco turned around on his chair, looking at his husband over the rim of his glasses. “Hope.”

Harry hummed and counted the letters on his fingers. He frowned. “Hope’s not a four-letter word, though?”

Sighing deeply, Draco shook his head. He stood from his place at his desk and walked over to the bed, taking the crossword from Harry’s hands and filling in the word himself. He silently handed it back to Harry.

“Oh,” was the only thing Harry said, a sheepish smile lifting the corners of his mouth. “I knew that.”

“Hm.” Draco walked back to his desk and placed his glasses on it. He stretched his arms above his head. “Sure you did, love.”
