I've only started watching Shadow and Bone like three months ago when there were several actors announced as guests for MagicCon, and I immediately knew that I had to cosplay Kirigan there. Once upon a time I created this blog to share cosplay!

I threw this together from my existing wardrobe while I was downloading Series 2 of Shadow and Bone to binge in the hotel room next week.

What do you think, worth investing in some proper finishing touches? Aka a jaunty lil hat and a smart waistcoat.

Part of me thinks this would be a fun one for MCM since it's nice and timely, but winter coat at a summer con is probably not a good idea.

How fun would it be to make an Inej friend though!

Ready for MagicCon ! (Kuwei Kefta DONE)

My custom Kuwei Kefta is finallllly finished ! After 2 months of embroidery, about 1100m of thread used and many attempts to get the lining and so many other things somewhat right. I am very happy with how it turned out and I'll wear it this weekend (29.10. - 1.11.23) for MagicCon where I once again paid a for my ungodly amount of money just to get some more pics with the cast.

This time I'll not just have pics with Kit but also Freddy and Paddy.

Needsles to say this project was the major reason I haven't made much fanart recently amongst other projects needing my attention too. I will for sure post some art soon (I hope q-q, I do miss drawing Jes and Wy so much)

Into The Fold this last weekend was so unbelievably incredible - I had the most amazing time, met some truly wonderful people, and managed to come away from it all winning second prize for my Wylan cosplay??

Hearing everyone say how much they loved the cosplay was already magical enough, but to hear it directly from the cast - from Jack!!- took my gratitude to a whole new level. I had so many people tell me afterwards just how wild their reactions had been, and I’m just so happy that I could do Wylan justice! 🧪💣
