Have you ever wondered why in my take on archer!Crosshair, the sniper always use short, recurve bow?

Here is an answer! :D

It’s because his skill were refined by... Ewok warriors after Clone Force 99 was stranded on the moon of Endor after a mission went awry.

A bit of context for this drawing:

I hate energy bows.

I think their design defeat the purpose of a bow. Anyone who knows me slightly better, witnessed my whining about that topic at least once.

I.just.don’t.like.them.

Thanks to The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch I was sure Star Wars just... don’t have regular archery, that range of weaponry in Star Wars was either sticks and stones or blaster bolts with nothing in between.

Until...

one day, (few months ago), when I was watching/refreshing Star Wars movies with @kalm5 there was this scene in RotJ where Ewoks were fighting against Empire with... normal, traditional BOWS and ARROWS.

My faith in Star Wars was restored but @/kalm5 was flooded with DMs about that scene, ultimately shaping this idea into existance.
