Zenon: Z3 (2004)
My rating: 4/10
I always forget just how irritating the faux future slang gets in these... though I do appreciate everybody's full commitment to make everything look at atrociously tacky as possible. Anyway, the plot can be summed up as:
weird hippie dude: oh hey you're back zenon: moon's pissed hippie dude: what? zenon: *hits the big red evacuation button and gets back on the pod racer* moon's pissed
so that's very silly and quite bad.

I just realized now that the writer of the three Zenon movies + The Land Before Time, Stu Krieger, IS A PROFESSOR AT MY UNIVERSITY. What a fun thing to find out in my senior year. He wrote 10 of the first 50 DCOM movies.

What a wonderful event that the 2019 Brockport Gala in Rochester, NY, turned out to be. It was an honor to be part of the Keynote panel moderated by News Anchor for 13WHAM and Fox Rochester, Ginny Ryan. On the panel were notable Brockport Alumni- TV Host Gabrielle Loren, Writer Stu Krieger, 1st AD Jim Goldthwait along with myself, all working in Hollywood, California.
There were a lot of topics covered by each of us. I focused on the importance of networking, getting involved with your industry and creating your dream project. I had a blast.
The final question Ginny asked was, in one word to describe your future. My word was “Limitless”. Because I see all the opportunities in front of me as a Director/Producer. Along with knowing that there are many more that I don't even realize are they just around the corner. That word not only describes how I feel about my future but how I see the future of all the students at The College at Brockport.

My personal experience working in Hollywood, I find it to be a remarkably small community of the filmmakers. If you are interested in hearing more about the Entertainment Industry from an insider’s perspective, like and share this with fellow filmmakers. You can find me on IMDb, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, SpeakerHub or Instagram.

The Land Before Time’s screenwriter explains how he made a generation cry
The screenwriter of The Land Before Time doesn’t much mind that the screenplay for The Lion King deployed the phrase “the great circle of life,” even though he used it years before in The Land Before Time to help his young male protagonist cope with a parent’s death.
“Ultimately, there are only so many stories, and everything is a variation or a recreation,” screenwriter Stu Krieger told SYFY…
