Welcome to the Joel Edgerton Appreciation. Look how cute, adorable, sexy and awkward he is. THE FEEEEEEELLLLLSSSSS. HOW DARE HE???!!!
i love most of his films (Exodus: Gods and Kings is a film we don’t talk about) so get ready for my list.
Kinky Boots-It’s about a shoe factory who decides to change their niche market in order to stay in business. they decide to make shoes/”boots for women...who are men”
Loving-him and Ruth in this film is everything! It;s about Richard and Mildred Loving who went up against the US Supreme Court in order for interracial couples to be able to be legally married.
Animal Kingdom-Australian crime family movie.
Bright-i don’t care what anything says, i love this film. Joel is literally under a pound of makeup but he’s so good as Nick. i got my nephew into the film and he watches it a couple times a month.
The Gift-Joel wrote, directed, and starred in it. Plus it was his directorial debut to critical acclaim.
Warrior-such a good film. He and Tom Hardy play estranged brothers who end up fighting in a MMA competition.
The Great Gatsby-adaption of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel. It’s grand and over the top. Joel is so different in this role.
Films I Have Yet to See But Have Heard Great Things About
The King-supporting role
The Green Knight (hasn’t been released yet but it looks so good. Plus it has Dev Patel and we stan)
Boy Erased-Joel wrote, directed and starred in the film about an outed man who is sent to a religious gay conversion therapy.
