1. Who's hand did you first grab? Why? Would you choose someone else if you could do it over again?

I grabbed Idia's hand! When I first got into TWST, I had absolutely no clue what I was getting into so I really just went based on which voice actors I recognized LOL. I know Kōki Uchiyama from a ton of different anime (JJK, Buddy Daddies, Haikyuu, BNHA, Yuri on Ice, etc.) so I just went with his character. While Idia doesn't crack the top 5 for me, I don't think I'd choose again. The only reason I would is if it impacted the story somehow but I really doubt it will. I'm COMITTED.

10. Top five favorite characters?

Grim occupies all top five spots. BUT since that's boring, so I'll limit my choices to the main cast lmao. (My love for the dire beast is PROFOUND) I got VERY wordy here so here's the short answer: 1. Riddle Rosehearts

5. Kalim Al-Asim Explanation below the cut! (I got very excited to talk about my favorites and wrote a lot so I figured I'd condense it for people who didn't want to scroll through it all lol whoopsies.)

1. Riddle Rosehearts - I have no explanation for this?? He's pretty much the opposite of my usual favorite characters so idk what happened here. I've always been drawn to the Alice in Wonderland aesthetic so maybe that has something to do with it? He's got such great character writing, too?? Everything about his personality just makes sense when you know his backstory. When we learn that Riddle's tyrant of a mother was strict and controlling over him, the pieces just seem to fall into place. His whole life was just following her rules and studying like a good little boy, and when he stepped out of line even a little bit he was reprimanded harshly for it. Of course, he's going to the exact same thing once he's in a position of power. It's all he knows. He's just another version of his mother. Not only does he uphold the tradition of punishing rule breakers rather severely as he was when he was younger, I think there's also an element of fear there as well. Like, his mother just instilled an innate fear of breaking rules because bad things would happen if he didn't follow them exactly. I really do see Riddle as a scared little boy who is suddenly realizing that he was set up for failure by his own mother. And THEN he makes an honest effort to improve himself post-overblot?? His transformation after the fact is one of the more obvious ones and I'm just so proud of him. A THOUSAND HEAD PATS!! Okay, I'll stop rambling about him lmao I love Riddle sm (Also want to make clear I'm not saying Riddle was right for anything he did, only that I appreciate how his character was handled. Added for legal purposes so people don't come after me :c ) 2. Vil Schoenheit - This one comes as no surprise to me. Pretty boys who challenge gender stereotypes are RIGHT up my alley. Like Riddle, I think Vil has some great character writing is one of the more complex characters in the game. He just feels so compassionate to me?? I don't know how to explain it - he just gives such nurturing vibes. I'd trust this man with my drink at a bar fr fr. And then he tells Epel off for saying ballet is too "girly" for him?? Thank you TWST for bringing me this man. I pray at the altar of Vil Schoenheit. 3. Malleus Draconia - Doesn't Malleus top everyone's lists LOL I think my favoritism for the dragon man is more to do with his relationship with Yuu than anything else tbh. He's like one of three characters that actively engages with the main character and I think they've got such a fun relationship. Two people who feel very alone in the world finding friendship (or something more for you malleyuu shippers) in each other is so beautiful. I'm glad they can be there for each other like that. Side note: I adore romantic Malleyuu for sure, but I think it's equally as endearing if all of Malleus's flirtatious lines were never meant to be romantic but he's just really bad at communicating his feelings in a platonic way. Like, he doesn't mean to flirt he's just socially inept. 4. Ruggie Bucchi - Gremlin hyena boy is just too good for words. Ngl, I started off not really liking Ruggie all that much because of what he did in the Savanaclaw book. My mans was basically shoving people down flights of stairs?? I'm not really sure where the turn around happened tbh. Mischievous personality types do tend to draw me in in fiction so that probably has a lot to do with it. I also felt really bad for him at the end of the Savanaclaw book when Leona was ready to Thanos him out of existence despite everything Ruggie had done for him (and continues to do for him). I appreciate his work ethic, I can respect the hustle, and he's got such a cute little laugh. I wanna pet those big ole ears of his. Leona - pay this man more smh 5. Kalim Al-Asim - SUNSHINE BOY!!

He's such a breath of fresh air in this game LMAO. As much as I love the fact that most of the cast are unapologetically flawed, it's nice to have a few characters that are genuinely good people. His VA (Kazuki Furuta) absolutely kills it imo. I can hear his laugh in my head as I'm typing this - it's just so warm and happy :D He also breaks the sterotype of most rich characters in media by just being a nice person? He's not evil or greedy (although naive and entitled) and he just wants to be bffs with Jamil. Break his heart Jamil and we're gonna have WORDS. Also just like FORGAVE JAMIL??? His bfffl yeeted him across the desert, brainwashed him and admitted to wanting to get him kicked from the school and Kalim didn't really hold it against him. He was so understanding and sweet about everything AHHHHH

I’m so glad you’re enjoying Twisted Wonderland! It’s so much fun and I kinda just started a month or so ago, so to answer a few things/to tell you a few things I wish I knew when I was just starting out (lol):

SSR cards are the highest rarity cards you can get.

Besides the prologue, so far in English there are 6 books that have been released (up to Idia). Malleus’s story has been partially released in Japanese and not at all in English yet. But there are plenty of events and the creator has said there will be more content even after this storyline.

The vignettes do not raise the power of a card, however they do add fun little stories you can read to learn more about a character and their interactions with others. And when you finish reading each part, you get gems. So, while vignettes are not required, they are a very fun addition. They also give you a sneak peek at what the card will look like once you groovify it (Groovifying it makes it stronger).

Don’t forget beyond leveling up your cards to also LEVEL UP YOUR SPELLS! That is so helpful and can be done when you view the cards individually (the button next to the mirror) and go to the “spell levels” tab. This makes even weak attacks stronger and some attacks get bonuses at higher levels!

The exams, the guest room/crafters gauntlet, and friendship boosts are important. Especially the friendship levels - so be sure to take the alchemy lessons with Crewel. Friendship popcorn is your friend as well.

And last but not least……… LEONA DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER IN HIS BOOK OMFG. The reason why we all say his story is the worst is not only because the end is so rushed and he just kinda comes off as a jerk, but like… he as the main focus of the overblot barely gets ANY screen time or focus. We’re focused more on Ruggie tbh. And it SUCKS. But the novelization is apparently SO much better in this regard. There was a tumblr post going into this and Leona’s post overblot speech and it just hits home SO HARD. And I really wish the game had done more for Leona because our lion man deserved better. 😭😭😭

Synopsis: I just wanna gush about these characters :’)

Warnings: a lot of my own personal headcanons on the characters lol, mentions of raw cookie dough (putting this here justtt in case), and it’s not proofread

Characters: almost all the twisted wonderland characters!!

Pronouns for reader: gender neutral/ not mentioned

A/n: heyyy, I know I asked for genshin requests but IVE HAD TWISTED WONDERLAND ON THE BRAINNNN for like no reason too… it’s very very strange tbh. Anyways, I really enjoyed writing this, so I hope you like it just as much as I do!! Have a great rest of your day!!

Malleus is absolutely the type to listen to every word you have to say. He isn’t very knowledgeable of a lot of more modern things, so he’s very interested in whatever you have to say :). Best boyfriend for anyone who has a major hyperfixation, this man will eat that shit up. He has a great memory too!! You could tell him everything about your current hyperfixation and he’ll remember it for the rest of his life.

Sebek and silver are weirdly the best duo to be friends ugh in my opinion. Oh my god imagine being in a little trio with them. That’d be so fun!! For example baking with them, Sebek would be very precise yet messy, and silver is probably the type to sneak a little bit of the batter/ frosting JVEJEHE. He definitely eats raw cookie dough straight from the bowl (it’s ok silver so do I, we can get sick together). Sebek probably yells at him for it too, like “MALLEUS WOULDNT APPRECIATE IT IF YOU GOT SICK SILVER.” “Bro wha” JVEJEHE. They’d just be so goofy to be friends with :]

Any time of the day. Anywhere. Any place. Idia is ready to dump his hyperfixations on you. AND IF YOU HAVE THE DAME HYPERFIXATION AS HIM??? It’s over. You are officially now his best friend uhhh would you actually like to just live with him???? If it’s not obvious I’m headcanoning Idia as autistic so. Anyways, if you stim with him? He gets really happy, but also really really nervous?? And pretty flustered. Ortho once walked in on you both just talking about your hyperfixations and he was like “idk what half this means but happy you’re happy” and just left MEVEJEH

Rook probably has a weird infatuation with fancy teas. You know what I mean? He just gives off the vibes, or someone who taste tests teas like they’re wine. Like “oh yes, I can taste the rose in this, mm.. yes yes, 1920’s rose tea, that was freshly brewed in a kettle. Very fine taste you have [name]” “Uhh I just bought this from sam’s shop for like $2. So. Sure??”

I think Jamil REALLY likes collecting random things with snakes on them. He gives the vibes of someone who just likes snakes of all kinds. Socks with a cobra on it?? Yes please. He wears them regularly. A cute little snake keychain, that is in his room somewhere, and sometimes he even puts it on his favorite bag. He just really likes snakes?? I know his last name is viper, so it’s super on brand, but despite all that, I genuinely think he just is one of those people that’s like “wow!! Snakes!! I love them :)” for like no reason. (I was one of those people. I would know a fellow snake enjoyer when I see one /j)

This isn’t a headcanon but more of a… random thought. How do Jack, ruggie, and Leona hold phones?? I saw Art of this once I forgot who made it but it was of Leona, and it just made me think like, their ears on on top of their head ok? So. When they take a call, mkay. Where do they hold their phones? Normally so they can’t hear? Or up to their ear, so then the other person on the phone can’t really hear them speaking, AND they look dumb. WHICH IS IT I MUST KNOW

Jade and Floyd mix in random mermaid slang with their regular speech. HSHEJHE imagine. Imagine just hearing “awww shrimpy you’re acting like a real starfish right now :(“ and then jade just “I must agree with Floyd, he’s saying the seaweed” LIKE WJEGSJVSKDHD IMAGINE. Oh my god- no because imagine being like “do you think this outfit is cute?” “Yeah I think you look absolutely stingray.” HSVEKEBS worst part about it is Floyd uses it the most and when you’re like “Floyd. Floyd why did you call me a pile of dried up and grey coral :(?” He just doesn’t explain, and keeps using it, and you don’t know of you should be flattered?? Or offended.

Lilia is an avid league of legends player. I’m correct. Don’t say I’m not. I don’t even play league of legends and yet I’m gonna headcanon Lilia as a league fan. Because, I am correct. (He also probably is a fan of guilty gear, and Elfen ring but you didn’t hear it from me)

Mkay now Sebek , Idia, and azul, are the type of people, that whenever their crush is around or whatever, they are absolutely not responsive. Literally freeze. Now with Idia after like a few minutes of trying to get him to respond, it’s a 50/50 chance (that you will lose.) that hell either run away and hide, or if you’re lucky he’ll actually try to say something to you before he gets too nervous and just leaves KEGEJS. Azul on the other hand will freeze, not responsive for like two seconds, then “oh prefect I didn’t know you’d be here.” “You’re right in front of my dorm.” “Oh.”. AND SEBEK JUST COMPLETELY DOESNT RESPOND AND LEAVES BEFORE YOU CAB SAY ANYTHING TO HIM WJEGKEGEKE

I like to think epel and riddle are close friends. They both have weirdly fiery, and yet calm personalities, and I think epel would make a BEAUTIFUL apple tart for riddle a lot. Like imagine all the details in the apples, cause he carved into them, and omg I would respectfully devour an apple tart made by epel. But I also wouldn’t… cause it’s so pretty :’)

Vil has a separate MagiCam account dedicated to fitness. And, AND cater follows it. Why? Because it’s “super aesthetic” (in reality it’s to encourage himself to work out cause vil is like obviously super strong and successful so like working out and being athletic MUST have something to do with that.) (cater also never works out SJSGEJE)

Okay, since [3] people liked my post, here’s the charts for my

Though, I will admit, I feel like the shojou influence may lessen after the first group, but oh well. It’s the drama filled romance twst AU.

So, the freshman gang is the main one, along with the only one I bothered to add text in the image itself.

These guys are also the only ones who have any real semblance of a plot going on, and I imagine if this was an actual shojou romance anime, there’d be two seasons, so dynamics get changed and two more characters (Grim and Yuu!) get added into the mix. But I haven’t made that chart yet, so I won’t talk about it unless someone asks

Anyway, Ortho would be the main character here, as she was the reason why I decided to make this AU at all lol. (Btw, she’s 16 just like everyone else here, so don’t worry about it) Epel and her are best friends and as such I decided to give him his own side plot as well!

Since I wanted Ortho and Epel to already be established as best friends, I decided to mash their hometowns closer together, and I also wanted to make them know Vil for awhile too, so Idia, Ortho, Epel, Vil & Jack have all known each other since elementary. The others they only met in HS. Why? It’s probably a really prestigious one like in canon or smth, idk

Bc of this, Epel’s been crushing on Jack since, idk, elementary? Middle school? Awhile now, that’s for sure. Ortho’s been making fun of him for not being able to confess for years now, and he finally decided to ask him out in HS, but by the planned time comes, Oops! He likes Sebek now too! Ortho is understanding, but loves to make references to cringy manga and anime that have love triangles/harems in it. That is, until she falls for both Ace and Deuce, and suddenly Epel can have payback.

There’s definitely more to this, but that’s all I feel like writing about rn for them.

Onto the next ones!

Now this description will have less in it cause I definitely think of these guys the least, but I will say that one love square ends in two couples, and the other in polyamory, so,that’s fun!

Also, to balance out the gender ratio, Jade and Floyd are Jade and Floyd, Riddle, Kalim, Azul, Jamil & Ruggie are all girls. Silver can be the token guy. Or I could change my mind and make her a girl. Idk.

I do have a bit more to say about the juniors tho!

First off, I didn’t know where to fit in Cater & Trey, so they’re kinda just in the background. Maybe Trey & Vil had smth but now Trey and Cater are dating? Idk, but they’re here!

Anyway, back to the exes, yk how I said that Vil, Jack, Idia, Ortho & Epel all knew each other? Yeah, back in middle school, Idia and Vil dated for, around a (school) year (plus summer) I wanna say? Maybe a bit less than that. But in their freshman year they broke up, leaving them not really speaking, then about two weeks later Vil and Leona started dating, so that just kinda rubbed salt in the wound for Idia and he went back to staying in his room 24/7 again. Though he does show up at school more often than his canon counterpart does, I feel. Simply bc this is supposed to be a no magic AU, so flying tablets are a bit harder to get from class to class with lmao

Anyway, after who knows how long, maybe for like 6 months or so? Vil and Leona break up. Not sure how long after that, maybe a month, little more than that? Anyway, then Leona and Malleus date for like, a week? Idk, Leo & Mal remind me of two middle school boys who hate each other, so do with that as you will lol

Second year maybe you could fit in the Trey thing but idk. Anyway, Vil & Rook have been going strong since then, and Idia’s recently gained a crush on Malleus. Shenanigans ensue

The only other thing I’ll note is that Lilia doesn’t attend school with his kids, maybe he’s a teacher? Part-time substitute? Idk, but just like in canon he’s Mal & Silver’s dad (and Sebek’s too lol) and online friends with Idia. So that’s fun!

Epel's groovy card is so sweet and after reading his personal story, I might as well fangirl rn

obviously spoilers below~

Floyd calling Epel "cool" and actually meaning it + Epel being so excited with his gift was one of the sweetest things that ever happened between these two

I mean, after Floyd Beans Day SSR story, you would think that he was going to cause trouble to Epel just like he does with Riddle but they have a good big & little brothers vibes to it. The classic ones, yk? That big brother that is a jerk most of the time but there's moments when he shows that he cares... and idk this made me like Floyd just a little bit more

Actually, talking about brothers: the entire segment was priceless lmao Floyd pushing Epel to choose him and Jade as big brothers, this close to actually start a fight and Epel ending up choosing Leona instead. He also said pretty good things about Leona, it's was nice to see.

And Epel is actually not that good on studies? I'm shocked. Like, is probably on a normal level but still I'm shocked to hear that. Who would think of it?

Epel answering "Savannaclaw" with all his heart and soul is the motive of my happiness. And even though Floyd forced him to choose an second option, I'm glad the writers kept this. Epel thinking that Ignihyde would be good bc of magical wheels and that he wants to build one with his own hands is great (also a nice nod to his dorm uniform story with Idia) but still, Savannaclaw Epel is forever in my heart <3

Also I'm pretty sure Floyd was trying to make Epel say "Octavinelle" just like Jade tried with Ruggie. Jesus, my octatrio is trying to recruit people to their schemes lol

I thought I was having a different impression on the way Epel spoke most of the story but it was really his accent slipping through

Shimba Tsuchiya's performance was incredible. It's so interesting to compare to the way other characters usually spoke bc then you really understand the difference between the pronunciation and the "countryside feels" of it and I love this

Everytime Epel lets his true self show off, it cures my sadness, clears my skin, makes me hydrated and adds 20 years to my life. Please, for me, allows Epel to be full cowboy (like that old man in a video hanging out and just going "I wanna be a cowboy, baby")

And to end it up, Epel not hesitating before this big tall eel in front of him, putting his head up and showing his wicked glare

And I love the implications that Epel retaliated Floyd by throwing a cream pie at him and now they're bringing the whole venue down with a cream-fight but... he's having so much fun! I'm so happy for him <3

NRC Students as Youtubers

I started the idea with octatrio as youtubers and thought it’d be fun to think of what other students would do if they were youtubers. Took a while to think of something for everyone, since some of the characters I am not super familiar with (just cause I don’t have a lot of cards of them lol). Some of them were kind of hard, but I’m fairly satisfied with what I’ve come up with.

It was fun thinking them all up and I’d love to know your thoughts on this list.

Heartslabyul

Riddle:

Lots of study with me videos. Tutors on certain subjects. Also equestrian club vlogs showing how to properly take care of horses, sorta like animal therapy type thing.

Trey:

Baking/cooking videos. Teaches the basics and really goes into details about tools, safety, temperature, etc. Mentions proper dental hygiene right after.

Cater:

Typical influencer. Vlogs, does collabs, unboxings, sponsors. Occasional singing vids alone or with pop music club. Lots of café vlogs and aesthetic shots.

Ace:

Prank channel, trolls his viewers a lot. Does lots of card tricks and magic show stuff. Vlogs a lot and they're all chaotic.

Deuce:

Tinkers with stuff a lot. Shows how to fix various things, ranging from watches to more heavy machinery. Occasional vlogs of him riding blastcycles when he goes home on holidays.

Savanaclaw

Leona:

Does a whole bunch of logic games and burr puzzles. Fairly chill live streams of chess solitaire or idk minesweeper. ASMR quality audio.

Ruggie:

Does one of those "live like college student" type of vids, where he cooks meals on a budget, thrifts, shows how to find best cheap stuff, and mend things to last longer.

(on the other hand I would love for him to do like mukbang videos (on leonas credit card ofc) just cause boy deserves to be fed lol)

Jack:

Work out bro. Motivates and teaches how to properly exercise and diet. Does fitness challenges. Also vids of him watering his cactus. Occasional vlogs with friends. Very consistent upload schedule, never missed a day.

Octavinelle

(I’ve done some fanart for Octavinelle you can find [here].)

Azul:

Lots of advice q and a's. Talks about entrepreneurship and finances and business. All his videos are monetized, half are for members only. Does occasional vlogs about his hobbies and collabs.

Jade:

Cooking/foodie/travel channel. Lots of plants and mushrooms. Totally capitalizes on ASMR. Aesthetic. Filled with his hobbies and interests.

Floyd:

Whatever he happens to be interested in. Either 5 mins or 2 hour vids idk. How he got Vil to be in his vid no one knows. Chaotic and lots of pranks. Dunks on people but gives good advice sometimes.

Scarabia

Kalim:

Mostly a vlogger. Vlogs all his parties. Really positive and uplifting videos. Does lots of different challenges (safety checked by Jamil). Looves to collab, almost every vid is a collab with someone new.

Jamil:

Dance cover videos. Does dance challenges and creates new dances. Emphasizes proper stretching and teaches moves. Sometimes vlogs certain outings or basketball club shenanigans.

Ignihyde

Idia:

Gaming channel. Anything from video to board games. Trash talks a lot online. Does tier lists about his fav games, shows, characters. Likes to geek out about his new engineering feats.

Ortho:

Collabs on games with his brother. Shows off his different functions. Maybe a Mythbusters type of content, where he tries out a bunch of experiments (usually ends in explosions even though no explosives are used lol).

Pomefiore

Vil:

Beauty channel. Make ups, product reviews. Get fit videos, advice videos, some vlogs on acting or modeling sets. Generally very polished videos and really good quality advice.

Rook:

Occasional beauty videos. Does reviews on like books, plays, movies he's recently seen/read. Really good insights and dissection of text. Fanboys about Vil a lot. Does journaling videos as well and poetry.

Epel:

Apple carving videos. Does crazy detailed carvings sometimes makes whole displays of them. Vlogs his trips home and shows off his apple orchard and his family.

Diasmonia

Malleus :

Travel/exploration vlogs. Visits different ruins and abandoned places. Teaches people about ruins and gargoyles, videos tend to be hours long. You'll either use it to fall asleep or stay up till 5 am watching.

Lilia:

A kind of everything channel. Mostly vlogs of him trying out different things and messing with people. Definitely does the whole "how do you do fellow kids" attitude for fun. Gives cryptic advice and half the time it's off the wall nonsense, other half actual good advice.

Silver:

Lots of training and exercise videos. Also experiments with making coffee different ways. Sometimes he falls asleep live and it becomes like a fall asleep with me ASMR?

Sebek:

Malleus fanboy channel in all but name. Does self improvement and fitness challenges but they all relate to Malleus in some way. Occasionally does videos following Lilia’s advice and people freak out how he's not dead yet.

Hey! Could i request the dorm leaders with an esper MC? Kinda like Mob psycho or Saiki k :) and maybe they don't really use this ability of theirs that much since in their world they're literally a teen who's trying to live a normal life(like Mob basically), so nobody knew about their psychic powers except Grim since the mirror said that he couldnt sense any magic in them(i'm pretty sure that psychic powers don't really count as magic but idk lol).

A/N: Ooh this was a fun one! I haven't watched Mob Psycho (I know about that fine ass blonde man-) but I have watched Saiki k and I loved it, still need to finish it tho jlafljhdas

Warnings: none except for language

Riddle:

-You wanted to stay as far away as possible from him

-Riddle was part of the trio of people you wanted to stay away from: Riddle, Vil, and Azul

-Riddle paid so much attention to fine details that if something was up, he'd definitely notice it

-But unfortunately you were best friends with the two goobers of Heartslabyul: Ace and Deuce

-And Riddle had started to pay attention to you and your habits, and something was off with you

-It's almost as though you tried too hard to be normal, like Jamil

-And he could never let something like that happen again, so yes he was watching you

-One day you accidently slipped up and was irresponsible with your powers

-Grim was bothering you since he got into a deal with Azul for tuna and they were standing outside with the twins, since Grim lost

-You told him to fend for himself and teleported, however you didn’t plan where you would go

-And you teleported into the Heartslabyul dorm

-What sucks is that your teleportation power was literally flashy with a bright ass green light every time you popped in somewhere

-Just when you thought you were lucky since the whole dorm was uninhabited...except for Riddle who watched the whole thing

-He was completely shocked, he didn’t know what to say other than “What did you just do?!”

-You explained to him, and that just pieced everything together

-How you solved overblots with such ease, and that one day you had a “strength potion to test for Azul” was such bs!

-Riddle ends up keeping your secret, since he values your privacy but if you do something major and mess up then he will tell!

-”I understand but please be more careful with your powers. I need to institute discipline and you are no exception, Y/N.”

-He really does care about you and doesn’t want you to be found out

-Goes the extra mile to cover for you often, and in exchange you help him out with things :)

Leona:

-He didn't really care about you at first but as you started to hang Jack and Ruggie, Leona started to get more suspicious

-Your scent had proven that you had some trace of magic, but Leona just couldn't put his finger on it

-So he sent Ruggie after you for a couple of days

-If you were a threat to Savanaclaw, Leona would crush you

-But Ruggie had only reported back that everything with you was perfectly normal

-"Just give it up Leona, they're just an ordinary human. The scent is probably weird because they're from a completely different world."

-But Leona still had that feeling, so he was keeping an eye on you

-You had made a deal with Crowley to keep your powers secret to solve problems on campus (it did cut repair costs and handymen costs in half so-)

-Your new quest was to rid the forest of the Angolo fungus that was manifesting into living fungus blobs

-The one thing that gave you away was Grim, as you both had to stop by the Greenhouse to read some info about the fungus

-The cat beast was being far too loud, not understanding why he had to go and mess around with the icky fungus

-You simply replied “It’ll be quick, I’ll just use Hydrokinesis and dry out the fungus since they’re mainly filled with water. They become fertilizer once dried so we can just leave them there.”

-And there Leona was, ears perked up once he heard your voice

-Hydrokinesis? What are you talking about?

-So he set off, following you to the forest

-You started to fly, turning the once green and lively fungus to brown dust while Grim napped against a tree

-Leona for the first time in the while, was left speechless

-Once you noticed him, you realized you had to talk to him

-Confronting him later on, luckily Leona didn’t spill to anyone

-He promised to never tell anyone about what he saw, and had no clapbacks for what you had to say

- Leona doesn’t even benefit from this secret...besides mayyybee one day asking for your help if his pride lets him

-By the Great Seven why does everything have to not be in his favor-

Azul:

-Another one who you have got to be careful around, since he’s incredibly observant

-More observant than Riddle

-Azul noticed that you’re an incredibly average person, and were incredibly relaxed even during the most stressful situations

-And almost every single time whenever you were in a tight spot, it works in your favor

-Just how is that possible? Solving overblots left and right? Every single time you disappeared the infestation of magical beasts are gone?

-One day, you were getting picked on by a three guys, their stature far above yours and incredibly strong. How could you possibly win?

-Just as he was about to scoop in a save you, you slammed one of the men into the concrete, taking on the other two by electrocuting them, the blue lightning buzzing in your palms

-They were completely knocked out, dusting off your palms and picking up your things only to face Azul’s eyes

-After giving an explanation of what that was, he was still speechless

-Azul at first was incredibly shocked and then since Azul is Azul... later on realized this had benefits

-He could just blackmail you to be his new bodyguard!

-Oh how he always manages to bend life to his will-!

-So you could just wipe his memory... or turn him into stone...nvm

-You’re now Azul’s arch nemesis since you end up saving people from his scamming and you’re basically untouchable and there’s nothing he can do about it

-But he does find your great strength admirable (and a lil hot, I mean what can u say seeing someone floating in the air with electricity flowing through them is a nice look okay Nate shut up)

Kalim:

-Oh Kalim my beloved

-He just thinks that you’re incredibly talented and a little mysterious

-You have your little quirks and he has his! Who is he to judge?

-Until one day you wanted to make the load lighter on Jamil, since the berries that Kalim had requested for were only in season in one country

-You decided to just teleport and then come back with the berries so Kalim wouldn’t be pouty

-You were outside the door ready to teleport when last minute you felt a hand on your shoulder

- “Oh Y/N you forgot-!”

-And there both you and Kalim were, in a berry field thousands of miles away from the Scarabia dorm

-Kalim screams, falling to the lush green of the field

-What happened?! Where are we?! How did you do that?!

-You quickly gathered all the berries at light speed, making sure that you got back before Jamil realized that you were gone

-Kalim wasn’t scared of you, rather impressed that you were able to keep a secret for that long, he could never!

-You’re already super cool, and on top of this you have otherwordly powers!

- “It must’ve been stressful living your life like this! But don’t worry, I’ll keep your secret!”

-Yes he sometimes asks you to perform some of your powers for him, sorry Y/N-

Vil:

-While you were his friend, he was incredibly suspicious of you

-Even though you wiped everyone’s memory, he still had the faint memory of when he was in overblot mode of you blasting him with a beam of light

-Vil was incredibly upset as one of his assistants had mixed up his items, and left one of his vital skincare items on the set of where they were filming a new commercial

-It was being shipped and would take 3 days to reach NRC

-His mood was horrible and you had to do something about it to give grace to the Pomefiore dorm

-So you went to the second story of the Pomefiore dorm, ready to use Apport (the power to pull anything before you)

-However, Vil felt incredibly guilty

-He was acting like a child and he shouldn’t have taken it out on the people who he loves and values

- “Y/N, how I was acting was incredibly inappropriate and- is that my moisturizer? How did you get it?”

-Starts freaking out as this was impossible as it was on it’s way from being shipped from another country

-This was the last straw for him ther was no justification for this that wasn't done by some form of magic

-He takes you to his room to make you sit down and give him an explanation for this

-Once you finished, Vil understood but was still freaked out

-He cares alot about keeping your powers a secret and will cover for you

-"So my aport powers need to exchange something of equal value so... I exchanged it with that Scucci purse over there-

-"MY LIMITED EDITION SCUCCI PURSE?!"

-He loves you, but you're dead to him, Y/N dear

Idia:

-Before he knew you, he didn't really notice anything off with you

-A little quiet sure but he minded his own business, he had bigger things to focus on

-Until you hung around Ignihyde more often for a project, fixing a huge generator by yourself for one of your partners for a project

-They took a break only after you told them that they could and apprehensive went to go get food and water

-Anyone with eyes could see that there's an overbearing amount of energy flowing through the fairly large sized cube

-Wait, you were wearing no gloves, you could get electrocuted! Why would have your bare hands on something like that?!

-Just as he was able to yell, it was too late, your whole body was flowing with the bright blue energy... and then you let go

-You were walking completely fine, you went and held a random wire on the ground, placing the electricity inside

-The static from your hair was gone, and you looked completely normal. . .

-Just what the hell are you?

-He did hours of research trying to figure you out, even sending Ortho to monitor you

-Yet there was nothing, you were just a “regular teen”

-Was ready to get S.T.Y.X.S on your ass- (is that too soon to joke abt my bad overblot boys-)

-Until one day he caught you again bending electricity to your will

-Is incredibly impressed with your power (lowkey wanting to experiment on you)

-After he realizes that you can read minds Idia is so damn frightened

- “O-Okay I promise not to say anything, just don’t tell anyone what I’m thinking a-alright?!”

Malleus:

-You were one of the only people who he trusted

-Malleus had always detected some form of magical aura that was otherworldly from you and it never seemed to fade

-And it wasn’t often, but it was almost like you knew what he was thinking

-Whenever he was deeply upset he felt a twinge of energy from you, and then you would insist and help him out with his problems

-And he flat out says “Are you reading my mind, Y/N?”

-You had never been directly outed like this before, you felt horrible

-You never read people’s minds unless it was very necessary

-whenever Malleus felt deeply gloomy you felt like it was important to just read his mind and help him with the problem

-You explained it to him and apologized, but he wasn’t upset

-In fact, he was smiling?

- “It seems like we have alot of things that we’re hiding from each other. But... you always had the best intentions whenever you used your abilities”

-He let out a sigh and reluctantly admitted, “And, I know that I’m quite stubborn with revealing my feelings.”

- “I will keep your secret as long as you keep mine, Child of Man,” the dragon fae said, you both shaking on it

- “I always had a feeling that you were special, but I never thought it would be something of this caliber...”

Alright, part two of explaining why I chose which digimon for each character in my twst x digimon AU! Part: Jack

I first started out by deciding on Garurumon. It felt like an obvious choice to represent Jack being a wolf-beastman since in this AU things like beastmen/merfolk/fae don’t exist. Also, Garurumon could be used as a form of land transportation, like how you see in 02, when the kids would ride on the backs of their digimon partners.

After that, I decided on Gaomon because I didn’t want to make Jack’s line be the exact same as Matt’s from adventure. It’s also fun having Gaomon due to how he’s portrayed in Data Squad/Savers, as I feel that the two have a similar personality. (I did make a doodle for this, if you check my twst x digimon tag) and finally, I really like Gaomon because he’s described as being apart of the Gazimon family. Now, this AU focuses mostly on the freshman, however, if I were to give partners to the other twst characters, I would give Ruggie a Gazimon! Not only that, but one of Gazimon’s “main evolutions” (as shown by Wikimon’s bolded text) is Leomon! So, fun for the whole Savannaclaw family!

Moving on to the perfect stage, I wasn’t actually sure which I liked more. I first clicked on Caturamon’s page bc I thought it sounded like “cactus” and Jack really likes cacti and succulents (heh, imagine if I gave him a Togamon lol. I mean, both Togamon and Gaomon have boxing gloves, so who’s to say?) but then I realized who Caturamon was, and I feel like he fits in really well with the rest of the line! Of course, there is the issue of Caturamon being more of a “dog” than a “wolf”, but it’s not unforgivable. Plus, with Caturamon as the perfect level, the line separates itself further from Matt’s.

Though, I don’t really mind if it’s WereGarurumon either. First of all, the only difference between Epel’s Salamon line and Kari’s Gatomon line is that Salamon’s mega is Lovely Angemon and Gatomon’s is Magna/Holydramon and/or Ophanimon: Fall down mode. So clearly I don’t care to much about that as long as I can come up with a good reason for it to be so similar (though I do prefer differences to the (anime) protags), and, I can. Sure, it may not look as nice having Garurumon go from Quadrupedal to bipedal back to quadrupedal, but I don’t really care about that. In fact, I find that digimon evolution is so much fun because it’s so free and not afraid to make a line look bad as long as you can tell how you can get to point A from point B! Plus, I feel that going back to Jack, a werewolf is a very fitting partner for him, as he practically is one himself in canon, just a bit differently than normal. And I like how WereGarurumon is still a wolf, to once again, reference that Jack is a wolf beastman. So idk, I like both options so I just put them both for now. I probably will pick one or the other eventually, but for now, it’s just Caturamon or WereGarurumon.

Finally, the mega is MetalGarurumon. There’s no real “deep reasoning” for it like the previous picks, just, wolf mega that makes sense. That’s all.
