I don't have any bets. I haven't actually read everything and besides we don't know which stories are gonna be in the competition (stuff submitted by other people)

Cass apocalypse series by @somerandomdudelmao has been submitted by other people (not the creator themself) so like if they do want to participate that's a BIG candidate

Ghost in ronin's DMs and basically the whole ghost on the server au (home,ghost on the server, DMs, how to save a ghost) by @amevello-blue , @melonpalooza and then @just-a-lil-turtle-with-knives for the final has also been submitted and GOSH THAT HURTS MY SOUL

and there are SO MANY STUFF THAT I HAVEN'T READ YET

I'm currently reading post hoc by @posthocpaganda and it's hurting my soul /pos

But get emotional with everything. Just give me pure happy fluff and I'll find something to get emotional about.

But I'm not saying other stuff don't have a chance to win. If i learned ONE thing with the crossover polls was that there are sooooo many factors in who goes to the next round.

And i know the authors of some of the stuff and they hurt my soul (/pos) enough to get the winning prize

I will use this moment to tell you to definitely go read post hoc if you've watched house MD. I'm only on season one but that's enough. This is hurting my soul so much

A reminder that as the poll master I'd treat every competitor equally and that is very obvious.

Just like with the crossover polls i obviously have some favorites (wedding bells my beloved) that I would've personally made propaganda for if i wasn't the poll master.

I care about keeping things fair and equal and never want anyone to feel like i show any favoritism. Ever

These AUs i picked were only because the names caught my attention because i already know/cry over the AUs. They don't mean I'd show any favoritism and you can bet on that.

Besides the submissions are still open so yayyyy so many more AUs to cry over. And who knows maybe the winner isn't even submitted yet.

The point of this competition isn't that which story is the best or saddest. Treat is an archive with a list of AUs with loads of propaganda and excitement. The results of polls will NOT determine your story's worth. There are so many factors like popularity and community and the number of friends you've made in the fandom, if you want to go for a tie or not. And many other things. And having or not having those things are NOT a criteria of how good your work actually is.

(Def coming from someone who has an au lost on the first round of the @turtle-tot-tournament so i have the first hand experience of feeling like my au sucks because it lost even tho that's obviously not the case)

On another note. The submissions aren't that many yet (rip) and i know that's mostly on me not actually making a lot of posts about this and making sure authors/artists see it (sorry about that) but it'd be super appreciated if you submit your stuff/stuff you like or send these to people who'd be interested in it.

I know I haven't given a date for when the submissions are gonna be closed. Mostly because my life is pretty hectic at this moment and I'd like to start the competition after it's over (probably in a week or two I'll know if i got accepted to uni or not and that will determine my next 4-5 years so...)

20 questions for fic authors

Thank you for tagging me, @candyskiez!!! I shall use this wisely (to procrastinate. And to ramble because I love rambling). Tagging @pascal-oswell @justmagicalgirl and @drbtinglecannon if you wanna do it, if not, that's okay!

1. How many fics do you have on ao3?

36, which would probably be insane to me a couple of years ago, but they're nothing compared to the amount of wips I have, enlisted or not (please, send help).

2. What's your total ao3 word count?

170,058! Nice

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Mainly The Owl House.

I have a couple of fics for the Shadowhunter Chronicles, mostly The Last Hours (though I do have a Wicked Powers wip) but I haven't had the most pleasant experiences in the TSC fandom so that'll probably be it.

Oh! I do have 4-ish Mob Psycho 100 fics in the works and a Star Wars one.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

So, what was your name again? No surprises there, it's still lowkey insane to me how much attention that one got

Sentimental, grieving to survive: I think we all were longing for the family reunions after Thanks to Them, so I get it too

Operation 'Make Darius like me': If I had to pick something as my fic writing legacy, it would be Hunter causing Darius psychic damage by saying"meow-meow" in the most deadpan expression in the world

Long lost lies: I remember being sooo excited to write this one and then having a mental illness episode in the middle of it so overall it's funny it came out nice

An unsung melody, mine for safekeeping: I think this was like my third fic??? And it's just pure fluff so... really nice to have it here

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do! I cherish each comment dearly so I try to reply to them all within the week. Though I have been going Through It the past couple of months, so I've been falling behind on that :( I love them tho, I'm kinda sad when I don't get any

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay, it's either "Loyalty Binds you" or one of my puppet Dadrius reunions which is, in retrospective, incredibly funny because I wrote those 3 one after the other, no hurt/comfort to be found.

I would argue the puppet ones have some hopeful undertones tho, so perhaps "Loyalty Binds you", especially because there's no hopeful ending in sight unless the whim strikes me to write it. It exists. In my head.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I write SUCH cheesy endings, you have no idea, I'm generally not one to leave things in a sad note because I'm too soft for that. But if I have to pick, I woud say "So, what was your name again?" if only because the ending is happy like in most of my fics, but this one, because it's a reunion fic, has a ecstatic sort of quality, I would say.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have gotten a couple of weird comments, but not hate, no.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Girl, I can barely write people kissing, this is asking too much from me. In all seriousness, I mostly write found family, so no smut here.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Same as candyskiez said, I prefer to write AUs in the setting of other media. I think crossovers can be fun but most of them aren't my thing, ngl.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Once as far as I know. When I went to ask the person to take it down, they deleted their whole profile so... win?

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Someone asked me once for permission to translate a fic to Russian, I believe, but I'm not sure if they went through with it.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not really, but Will and I should really get on with the one we have planned. To be fair, I have not replied our unhinged planning in a While™ so it's mostly on me. Oops.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

I don't think I have one. Half of the ships I like don't compel me to read fics about them and the other half feel to fresh to even begin to compete as all-time favorite.

If I had to pick tho, I'm going with Cecilos because they meant everything to me from like 14-17.

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

All of them /j

Okay, kidding, I have been so exhausted lately in the writing department buuuut probably "Children of Dust and Ashes". I still love the concept and ideas I had for it but the one other person who cared about it is an ex-friend and as I mentioned before, TSC is a tricky fandom for me so I don't think I can cheerlead myself into finishing this one. I'm sorry to the like... 2 people who seemed interested.

16. What's your writing strengths?

You think I know myself that much? /j

Um. I'm gonna say characterization? I don't think it's perfect, but I do try to keep it consistent and it's something people have praised before so let's go with it.

17. What's your writing weaknesses?

In theory I know a shit ton of vocabulary. In practice, I feel like the language I use is too basic, which I blame a bit on the language barrier, and my descriptions too simple, which is a problem for me in Spanish as well, so that one is all me lmao.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I eat that shit up. Of course, I think it also depends on the context, keep it consistent! Like if a character canonically sprinkles their speech with words/sentences in their own language, one should absolutely strive to imitate that.

I think adding the translations at the end as a note works well.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

In general in life? Lord of the Rings, especifically, about Gimli, he was my guy.

Actually posting online? I'm. Huh. I'd rather not say... I'm willing to say the second one was Voltron Legendary Defender, so you can imagine how bad the first one must have been.

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

"Loving Echoes (In loving memory of Emperor Belos)" is one I was super fond of when I wrote it and I still think back to it when considering my best pieces. I just really liked writing the speech/monologue there.

i always wondered if you ever read any violentine/twg fanfiction and if you have could you tell us your favorites? Or what tropes would you like to read? Idk I just really like this ship and since there was so little content I could find so i read a lot of shit 💀 but I hold a special care for it since it was one of the first fandoms I entered and finding out Clem was bi meant a lot to me cause you don't see a lot of bi representation that isn't like "I like fucking anything that moves🤩(Yea Im looking at you Elite)”.

So yeah I'd like to hear you thought of fanfiction and stuff.

i tried once or twice but didnt get farther than the first chapter or so on the few i tried 😔 i kinda for the most part stopped reading fic after high school to be fair, so im very particular about what i Do read when it comes to fic now. and on ao3 at least since im afraid of wattpad there really hasnt been anything that held my attention (at least in the past. like i said i havent tried looking in a couple years so who knows). i need plot/character development heavy stuff that i can really sink my teeth into and i didnt really find much of that... and the "tropes" i like are more determined by which characters im applying them to so i dont always like the same ones across the board

someone asked me this question a while ago and i asked for any fic recs at the time but i only got like.. one? im really not sure what the state of twdg fic is like honestly

DESPITE all that tho im still slowly slowly SLOWLY meticulously steadily working on my own oneshot that i WILL FINISH I SWEAR its over 20 pages currently and only like 2/3? done?? and half edited BUT it IS outlined so..... i just have to.. you know..... actually Finish it....

i posted some snippets from it a while ago (HERE) but here's a couple longer ones since ive written about 10 more pages (plus like 5 in outlines) since then. im Really particular about the flow of my writing which is like.. the main reason why i take so long to write.. gotta fix it until it Feels Right

A comfortable silence seemed to settle over them then. The wind outside the shack still blew harshly, whistling against the broken windows. But as the girls sat by the warm glow of the fire, and listened to the crackling of the burning logs, it was enough to melt their tension. At least a bit.

The silence continued until the fire began to dwindle with the last of the logs. "We're going to have to start burning those..." Clementine said as she looked at the loose boards they had kicked aside earlier.

"I got it," Violet said as she stood, not even giving Clementine a chance to move. As she grabbed a board and kicked hard at its center, trying to break it in two, Clementine twisted her mouth. Not at the other girl, but at herself. She was still getting used to her new limitations, and it frustrated her knowing there were just certain things that she couldn't or struggled to do now.

The boards had been sturdy once, but due to age and exposure, they had eroded enough that Violet was able to break them with relative ease. She threw a couple of the pieces on the fire and set the rest by the hearth as she returned to where she had been at Clementine's side. She gave her a soft, reassuring smile as the fire came back to life, and Clementine gave a soft smile in return, breaking her from her thoughts, if only momentarily.

She heaved a sigh as her eyes were drawn back to the missing portion of her left leg. She thought about the trek awaiting them in the morning, and her mouth twisted again. "Ugh, walking through all of that snow is gonna fuck up my leg..."

The soft smile on Violet's face became mischievous. "Don't worry, I can just carry you instead." She said it nonchalantly, but the fluttering in her chest betrayed her.

Clementine quirked her eyebrow in response to the bold statement, smiling skeptically as she laughed "Uh, aha, yeah right."

"What, don't think I can?" Violet responded, the look on her face unbothered by the other girls reaction. "Brody was the one who carried you to the school after you crashed and I'm, like, at least as strong as Brody was."

Clementine's face dropped at the revelation. "Wait-... Brody brought us back?"

"Uh..." Violet hesitated at the change in Clementine's voice. "Yeah... Her and Marlon. She was the only one he would ever take outside the safe zone." She explained, and as an aside to herself said "Huh, guess it makes sense now..."

The playful atmosphere had now quickly disappeared, only to be replaced with a quiet, somber one. In the short time Clementine had to get to know Brody, she felt they had started to become friends. However, there weren’t many good memories made between them, and so Clementine more easily remembered the bad ones.

She could still remember that stormy night in the cellar clearly, could remember the sounds of Brody's inhuman screeching. The hot blood on her hands as she fought against the turned girl for her life. The guilt sinking in her chest like a black hole as she looked over what she had done. What she had to do. Clementine mourned her in the way she mourned everyone else she had lost. And it never got any easier.

Violet watched Clementine as she internally fought through her feelings, and once again regretted her words. She didn't want to think about Brody, either. And felt guilty over unintentionally bringing those awful memories to the surface. Clementine told them what Marlon had done that night, yet never talked about what happened after. But Violet had helped the others with the bodies, had seen what Clementine was forced to do. She remembered the sight clearly, as clearly as she remembered feeling that Marlon got what he deserved.

"Maybe we should try to get some sleep before it gets cold in here..." Clementine suggested tentatively.

Violet shifted, stretching her arms out in front of her, catching the last of the heat from the hearth on her fingers. "We should use the bed, then. It'll at least be better than the floor. Plus, there's a blanket."

Violet stood up then, stretching her legs as Clementine looked up at her. "Are you sure that thing isn't completely rotted?"

"It should be okay. We only brought it in here a little over a year ago."

"'We'? Why?"

"Uh-" Violet started at that, averting her eyes. "Um... Minnie and I... we kinda... used to hang out here..."

"Oh..." Clementine wasn't sure what to say to that, but it did confirm her suspicions. So instead, she relented. "Okay."

But she hesitated, looking between her leg and her prosthetic where it still sat propped against the side of the fireplace. "Hmm..." Should she put it back on? The bed wasn't far...

"Here," Violet reached her hand out, noticing the hesitation, "let me help you."

Clementine eyed the outstretched hand, considering her options, and once again twisted her mouth at her new limitations. She kind of hated this. She had done everything on her own for so long, and now...

"C'mon, it's okay."

She looked back and forth between Violet's face and outstretched hand a few times before finally relenting. "...Fine." She really didn't want to lace up her prosthetic just to immediately take it off again.

Clementine took her hand, and Violet helped pull her up to stand. They leaned close as she found her balance, gripping tightly at Violet's shoulder with her free hand. It only took a short moment, and once Clementine stabled herself, her eyes locked with Violet's. They both started a bit when they noticed how close they had become, face to face.

"Aha. Um, you good?" Violet asked, slightly flushed.

"Yeah," Clementine said, hiding her blush better than the other girl. "Thanks."

Hey it's that anon again. y'know that one from like a day ago. or a few days ago I don't have a good sense of time. it could be 2030 for all I know

I think my most major like, post-canon take is that I'd probably sorta hate it if I were treating it as a real completely serious canon continuation of Homestuck. Instead I read it more like fanfic than anything, just slightly more Creator Approved than most fics.

Not to say I lack standards of quality for fanfic, but I am more open to certain character alterations and interpretations (there are still more than a handful I don't like in post-canon) because I am more cool with seeing it as someone else's vision of a character rather than them being "utterly ruined" in canon or whatever.

I think it also helps that I read all of Homestuck a couple years after HS^2 paused so I wasn't in the active fandom during all of that (I almost was! I originally tried reading back in 2011 but I fell off of it within 500 pages because I had bad taste) so I didn't actually have my opinion particularly swayed by outside influences and was just more willing to give it a fair reading.

My next most major post-canon take is that, as an epilogues and HS^2 liker, the most recent upd8 is quite literally the best I've actually felt about the writing in ANY post-canon content. I think even if I DISLIKED HS^2, I'd still be interested in seeing where it goes from here, after that.

Hi! I waited til I read all of HS2 to reply so I actually know what I’m talking about. I get you on the benefits of backreading, reading this thing in one go I cannot imagine waiting month-long pauses in between scenes, boy can you really feel them in the text (in a way that wasn’t true in the original comic.)

I don’t find that either the AH-lessness or the divisiveness of the postcanon stuff changes the fact that this is the de facto continuation of the canon storyline - it is the reason any of us are reading it. Them framing the epilogues as an AO3 fic doesn’t make them any less on homestuck.com, rejecting this continuation is an active choice you have to make as a HS reader.

Anyway reading HS2 I was surprised both by how little plot occurred (except in Candy, ironically -- oh my GOD I cannot believe Meat decided to do 3 more years of The Yard/Meteorstuck) and how overall unobjectionable it was? This comic’s just been a lot of really nice art and decently written character banter, and that’s essentially it. Then both took a shocking nosedive in ch15/16, the worst writing I’ve seen in all of HS/postcanon, which was so egregious that I think… if the New Team honestly cares about this project shouldn’t they at the very least go back and revise some of that? At least fix the numerous typos?? Instead we get Terezi offering wry meta commentary that this time she’ll “do it right”, which already communicates a dismissive attitude I’m not impressed by. But hey all we've seen so far is two new conversations, everybody loves Sollux, let’s see if JR can fanfic his way into a compelling story.

…Seriously tho anon, thanks for sharing your thoughts and I absolutely just used your ask as an excuse to bitch some opinions out. It remains true there’s nothing in HS2 that I like that hasn’t already been done or done better in fanworks, except drawing Jane looking extremely bangin I guess, but I haven’t sought that out, as a fan, so it’s like the gift I didn’t even know I wanted, and didn't want

Chapter Seven

Genre: Some fluff, some forebodingness

Warnings: Fangs, very slight body horror(the fangs), wild animal, wolf, swearing? Wine (Lo’s a wine mom this time) (i think that’s it but if I missed anything please let me know so I can add it, thank you!!!)

Logan was beginning to regret his life choices. After trying very hard to get rid of the fangs, trying very hard to figure out why they stuck around, he found that the best use of his time was sitting silently crosslegged on the floor, staring into the eyes of an animal who is unwilling to relinquish its secrets.

“You know, wolf, I think I’ve begun to grow weary of thith room.” Logan sighed, placing his face into the palm of his hand. The wolf, of course, does not respond, so Logan responds for it. “Well, then why don’t you tell the otherth? Well, it’th because I’m a child with teeth issueth who cannot figure out this thimple thing. Thomething even Patton could figure out.”

The wolf in front of him simply cocked its head to the side, Logan mirroring the action, furrowing his brows while he looked at the creature before waving his hand and watching the imagined creature disappear with a huff. “I’m getting nowhere, and now, I’m talking to mythelf.”

To be fair, Roman had been busy. Thomas’s channel had been getting more attention than normal so Roman had been working nonstop to ensure everything was perfect. Logan wanted to be present for everything but he couldn’t let go of the feeling, he wasn’t quite sure what it was, but the closest he could guess had to be inadequacy. He wasn’t sure if it was exactly what he was feeling, though he’d never admit he was feeling anything, at least out loud. Though, that hadn’t been the only thing. Anger was a creeping, lingering fly that continued to bash into the side of Logan’s mind, but he figured if it was left alone for long enough, maybe it would simply fly away.

With a breath he flopped back onto the floor, staring up at the small stars pasted on the ceiling of his bedroom. Virgil had helped him put them up a while ago, Logan had been overworking himself and Virgil said it they were a reward, that Logan deserved something for working so hard. Logan hardly thought he had done enough to earn any sort of reward, but Virgil insisted. Only later did Logan realize it was also a ruse to get him to take a break, but he didn’t mind, he still enjoyed the view.

Logan hadn’t really noticed the isolation for a while, but it was starting to catch up with him. Sure, he had Roman, but there was only so much of him that he could take, and now even Roman couldn’t be around, though he couldn’t blame him.

“This thucks.” He mumbled to himself but sighed and made his way to his feet, “But laying around won’t get me anywhere. I’m thtuck, right, tho let’s think clearly. I’m… admittedly frustrated and it’th clogging my mind… What would they advise…?” Logan thought for a moment before sucking in a breath and puffing his chest out, drawing his arms up in Roman’s signature pose, long bangs falling into his eyes.

“Roman would thay something foolish like ‘Just take a breath, Erlenmeyer trash’, but it would be coming from a good place. Patton would tell me that I’m trying to rush through my feelingth, that I thhoud thop and feel them, but I’m not going to do that. Remuth would… No. Januth would get the wine… not a bad idea. Virgil would thay thomething like ‘well, if that’s out of your control, why not work on thomething in your control?’, though I doubt there’th thomething I could…” He would have dismissed that idea but looking around his room, his eyes widened a tad in the realization of how bad it had gotten. Logan was always harping on Thomas for maintaining a clean work environment but failed to demonstrate this himself.

A touch of red crept over his cheeks as he sighed and ran a hand through his hair, pushing his glasses up to hold it out of his eyes, “I thuppose I could benefit from a… more organized area…” Logan waved a hand and a glass of wine appeared in his hand. With a small sip, he sighed, “Alright. Let’s get this over with.”

After a long day of working out video ideas with old Tommy boy, Roman finally collapsed on the couch next to Virgil, who had been inputting his opinion for half of the suggestions and for the other half, had simply been roasting all hell out of Roman, but Roman knew he was just joking around… hopefully.

“Good googly-moogly, I’m beat.” Roman huffed and leaned his head back, chin tilted to the ceiling.

Virgil chuckled and jabbed Roman with his elbow, eliciting a choked surprised noise from Roman, “Yeah, well maybe it wouldn’t have taken so long if you took a few of my suggestions.”

Roman rolled his eyes with a small smirk, “Yeah, as if. I’d barely call them suggestions. You’re the main reason we ran so late, you one-eyed one-horned flyin’ purple idea eater.”

“What was that?”

“What? I’m tired and my nickname supply is running low. What time is it anyway?”

“Movie time! That’s what!” Patton cheered, entering the room with an armful of popcorn bowls, soda, and hot chocolate packets with Janus in tow, carrying the blankets and plushies.

“Woah, is it Friday already?” Virgil checked his phone to be sure, “I completely forgot about movie night. Is Remus coming this time or is he just watching adult stuff in his room?”

Patton hummed and plopped down on the couch next to Virgil, “He’s joining us this week, I convinced him because I said he could help pick, but that it had to be rated PG or under,” He smiled and set out everything on the coffee table while Janus dumped the stuffed stuff on top of him.

“Then it’ll be everyone this week, right?” Janus said with a grin, “Great, I’m /so excited/ to share my leg space with everyone.”

“Well… not everyone..”

This comment was made by Virgil, who was rubbing a hand over the back of his neck. The room went a bit quiet, the elephant in the room getting larger by the moment.

“I’ll go ask him.” Patton said, standing up, “I-I won’t push or anything, I’ll just ask and leave him be if that’s what he wants.”

Roman shifted a bit in his seat before standing up as well, “I can go talk to him if you want, padre?”

Something in Patton’s expression shifted a little bit but he put on a smile, “No, that’s ok, Roman, I got this.” Patton nodded and began to make his way up the stairs, leaving Roman to sigh and sit down again, fidgeting with his hands for a moment before moving to stand up again, only to be stopped by Virgil.

“Hey, Romano, take a deep breath, ok? Logan wouldn’t want you freaking out about him. If he wants to join us, he will. He’s not gonna bite Pat’s head off for asking.” Virgil reassured, but Roman wasn’t all too sure about that fact either.

After a few more minutes Patton came down alone again, telling them how his knocks were met with a polite decline. Patton wouldn’t admit it but they could all tell he was upset by this fact. The movie they then decided on, with Remus’s help was The Corpse Bride, in which Roman and Virgil fell asleep halfway through due to their long day of brainstorming. They then turned on Aristocats, a favorite of Patton’s (Cuz of the cats). Midway through was when Roman began to wake again, blinking his eyes open a bit to see that Remus had also fallen asleep once the movie he chose ended, seeing only Patton and Janus were left up.

“Jeez, everyone was tired, huh?” Roman chuckled, rubbing his eyes, “What time is it, anyway?”

Patton looked over and checked his phone, “It’s… oh, about 1:15, I guess we did stay up fairly late, huh?” He chuckled and tucked his phone away.

Roman nodded and yawned again, content to go back to sleep, but his eyes opened again upon realizing he hadn’t checked on Nerdy Wolf-erine all day. “Oh geez, I- uh, forgot to check on my.. Uh. I gotta head up to bed, night guys!” Roman said, trying to swiftly untangle himself from the sleeping emo and making his way upstairs.

Janus watched him climb the stairs quickly and sighed, looking over at Patton and watching his expression shift with the pang of sorrow, knowing where Roman was going and not knowing if Logan was ok. “Hey, you alright, Frogger?”

Patton took a moment to respond, blinking and looking over after a second, putting on a smile. “Oh, me? Yeah, I’m- I’m fine, you don’t have to worry about Lil ol me.”

Janus sighed and moved a hand to rub his eye, “Kant almighty, fine, I’ll do it.”

Patton blinked and his eyes lit up, “Wait, really? You really will?”

“Yes. If it’ll help end this,” He gestured between Patton and the stairs, “As soon as possible.”

Patton let you a small squeal and hugged Janus tight, “Thank you thank you thank you!! I promise I won’t make you do anything like this ever again, just this once, thank you!”

Janus rolled his eyes and smiled, “Yeah whatever, but if I get in trouble it’s on you.”

Patton smiled, “Alright, deal. This’ll make things easier, I just know it.”

hey anon! i'd like to preface this by saying that this isn't me being mad or annoyed at you or anything, i don't mind people asking me about my opinions on stuff in general. but i really want to emphasize bc i feel like some people might not fully believe it when i say that or maybe you just never saw me say it before bc you're a recent follower or something in which case that's fair - but i really don't keep track of news in the fandom at all. as of right now i barely even keep track of news for the canon lmfao, i still haven't beaten scavio so all the stuff coming out for it is kinda of limited interest to me.

all that to say, i'm cool with giving my opinion on things but please tell me what you referring to in details when you do LOL. because it's very likely (like 99% honestly) that i'll have no clue what you're talking about and i don't necessarily feel like tracking down what's going on just to answer an anonymous ask, you know?

anyway, from a cursory glance it looks like it's about people using hacked pokémons in competitions? i'll be honest, i have limited interest in competitive pokémon play in general (i used to be in the french community and it was Not a great place to be in if you weren't a white cisguy let's just say, however this was over 5 years ago so maybe it's gotten better.) i totally get how people get into it, i think it's interesting on a base level, kinda scratch a similar itch as shiny hunting (which i'm more involved in) except less repetitive and more competitive i guess. and i get why tpc would discourage people using hacked pokémons (nintendo is very opposed to game mods/hacks in general as we know)

at the same time tho, i also feel like competitive play and breeding for competitive play are different areas of interest? if you're actually more into the competitive aspect than the repetitive aspect i understand not wanting to bother with breeding and hatching eggs and all of that. as long as you're not generating an impossible pokémon, i suppose i don't really see the issue. now obviously if people are able to check that some pokémons are hacked it's because they have flags that show that they're hacked, but i feel like the difference between "has impossible stats" (something that would actually give the pokémon an advantage) and "shows up as caught/obtained in a way that's clearly impossible" (something that has no incidence on the play) makes one clearly cheating and one more like... not wanting to bother with the part you don't find fun

so i guess i'm of two minds about it. obviously allowing it means that people are going to abuse it, and there clearly aren't accurate enough checks to catch people who are actually cheating (not to mention with the number of participants i'm not even sure how they'd even check further) in that situation i understand just banning it outright, because it's simply fairer to the people who actually go through the effort of breeding and training their pokémons. and i guess you could say that the people who just want to do the competitive stuff and not have to bother with actual training could just do casual competitions or showdown. but i also understand wanting to put that skill to the test in a real championship

ooo god ok i’ve been to a few by the same artists so i’ll put them all together!! my first concert was one direction in 2014. i don’t really have a lot of memories from it, i just remember that it started raining when i got into the stadium so i looked up to the sky with open arms and the silliest smile on my face, i was so happy and excited to see them!!! i had only been a fan of them for a year and a half so i didn’t have to wait long but it felt like i had been in the fandom forever

that same year i saw r5 which was. very random lol. my friend wanted to go but didn’t have anyone to go with, the tickets weren’t too expensive so i went with her. i saw them twice again after that show. they were always fun! the music was kinda disneyish but i liked it anyway, ross was always an absolute sweetheart so i had a great time everytime!

i saw the vamps twice and those were the most random concerts actually. the first time i saw them was in 2016 and i bought a ticket the day of the show. i didn’t even like them, but my friend’s cousin got sick and gave her her ticket, so my friend told me they were very cheap so i should buy one and go with her so i did. and i really enjoyed it! the second time i saw them tho… i don’t know what changed, but i remember feeling a bit bored? and kinda ignored lol. we had the same seats as the year prior but it was the opposite side. so like, the dude who was closest to us didn’t really. look at us. and i mean we weren’t close at all, it was a good view anyway but he just. didn’t even wave so that was kinda eh. i saw tini tho so that was something!!!

saw fifth harmony twice lmfaooo the first time was. probs the worst show i’ve been to? there was like… no interacting w the crowd at all it all felt v robotic. maybe i’m not used to shows w ppl dancing but idk. camila was the most fun at the show. also i was annoyed cause they changed the venue and i ended up w shit seats lol so maybe that influenced it. also it only lasted an hour and it was v far from my house so that sucked too lol. the second time i had pit and got very close so i liked it more but i think that’s literally the only reason, i don’t think i would have enjoyed it if i had nosebleed seats or something like that rip

i saw niall in 2018! it was a very chill concert and i really liked it!!!! i don’t remember a lot i’ll be honest i just know that i liked it. pit wasn’t that bad cause his music was very chill so i didn’t fight for my life that time!

ok finally 2022. imma start w harry. i saw him in 2018 as well but i’m putting those two together: i had an AMAZING time both times, i really love harry as a performer! my least favorite thing about his shows tho are … the fans … they are just rude and mean for no reason. last week was only bad while we were queuing outside but in 2018 they were SO aggressive while waiting for him to come out AND during the show and that annoyed me but i can’t say anything negative about harry. i had a blast both times and i still can’t believe how lucky i got this year being so close to him lol

trueno <3 my fucking beloved <3 that man has ENERGYYYY. i was so impressed by him and the other dudes performing w him. i loved the atmosphere at the show. i love how political he has become. hating on cops, loving the argies. it was everything i needed and more!

coldplay was also great. you know, i never really paid attention to them and i only went to see them cause my dad likes them and we surprised him w tickets but god, what a show. chris martin? an insane charming motherfucker. i was so happy during that show. love those silly little bracelets. love chris’ love for argentina. loved singing de musica ligera w 70k argies. it was so good. bless him and the band <3

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!! LOUIS!!!! i still can’t believe i got to see my boy twice. i was so nervous the whole time, i wanted everything to go right (aka didn’t want to pass out lol) so thinking about it all the time made me very very anxious and i def think i could have had a better time. i still had a fucking blast tho, i couldn’t believe LOUIS was in front of me like i was actually in shock during the first show. to this day i watch my videos and go . i can’t believe i took this. lol. i can’t wait to see him again sometime next year/2024 <3

I am like Vegetta is the one closer to the gods so it makes kind of sense, he has never been a devoted like rubius but still keeps the gods close, so there's gotta be something more. So options:

a)Vegetta is indeed god, but he keeps existing without powers in the mortal realm for he loves creation and the humans that create; still maintains his relationships with his fellow gods

b)Vegetta being a semi-god makes him the perfect hero for his endurance and physical power, he has being doing this enough to learn to talk to the gods and the listen.

c)Vegetta is a creation of the gods, made to balance the world and keep the heroes in check he is a helper of the gods and a hero too to not raise suspicion out of his existence.

d)Vegetta is a champion, a mortal that won the favor and blessing of the gods for being outstanding, a hero in his blood, the keeprr of balance and searcher of justice out of his own choice.

So this are like the main headcanons, and I now leaning towards Semi-God or Champion cause I like to make him outsatding but not overly powerful.

Btw no shame on wattpad cause I used to read there for this fandom too a long time ago, to be fair is most common know in Spanish fandom's than Ao3 so yeah.

So, I finished watching the show a couple days ago, because there were a couple things that showed up consistently in fics i that I didn’t understand (blood blossoms, some of the baddies, a handful of fenton inventions, etc)

First off, I still very much prefer pitch pearl to amethyst ocean or whatever the hell it’s called

And also, do you know where pitch pearl as a ship came from? I know there’s the episode with fun and super, but is that all there really was? Or were there more early fandom headcannons that supported them as separate beings?

Hello again! Sorry this took so long, I wasn’t sure how to answer 😅

Canon did a poor job with AO. I would even say it did it dirty, but it's popular enough it doesn't need that kind of support lol. If you really want to give it a fair shake I’d recommend reading fanfiction for it, but I understand everyone’s preferences are different. I personally don’t ship it because shipping best friends is something I have real issues with, but it’s not a bad ship if you want something that’s soft and makes you feel all warm inside.

Onto pitch pearl tho!

Tbh, I’m not entirely sure myself how pitch pearl as a ship started. I don’t believe it was because of the Fun and Super episode, largely because those two are rarely used in the ship.

I asked someone else, and they thought that moment in What You Want when Phantom was first torn from Fenton as this colorless ghost might have been what started the concept they weren’t one whole person. Because, honestly? This ship goes far, FAR back. A lot of the older fics made Phantom into a voice in Danny’s head or a spirit that could separate from him at will without the need of the Ghost Catcher in order to offer Danny comfort. They had no rules because there weren’t any set way yet. The fact that Phantom could move and think independently from Danny was enough to get people thinking. It wasn't all romantic, most of it was borderline at best. They mostly focused on hurt/comfort and self-love, finding a balance between human and ghost with the occasional kiss thrown in.

Then there’s TUE, where Danny meets his evil future self and learns that his ghost half killed his human half after merging with Plasmius. It definitely gave more credence to the idea there might be more to Danny’s ghost half than simply having ghost powers. It aired before Identity Crisis, so it set the stage with a BOOM and had a much bigger impact on the ship. Phantom being seen as his own person is a bit more credible when he’s willing to kill Danny. It helped that TUE was a VERY popular episode. It drew in a huge crowd, and everyone was curious about what made the ghost half snap like that if he’s supposed to be Danny.

Supporting that idea is that a lot of the older art and fics took a darker view of Phantom in general, seeing him as Danny’s darker half or a ghost out for revenge after being imprisoned for so long. Even the name “pitch pearl” was created with that in mind. I always thought of it as “white hair/black hair” in the same vein as AO taking inspiration from Sam’s purple eyes and Danny’s blue, but when I went searching for the origins for the name, the old explanation set Danny Fenton as white pearl and Phantom as pitch black. The reasoning for that was partly their jumpsuits pre- and post- accident, but also because Fenton is human and “pure” while Phantom is a ghost and dangerous--because without Fenton, Phantom became Dan and destroyed everything.

For obvious and somewhat personal reasons, I don’t subscribe to that. But it does make all the art where Phantom looks evil while holding Danny make sense. I don’t like dark romance, and I’m personally thrilled we moved away from such a dark beginning, but it likely had a hand in the early popularity of pitch pearl.

If I were to guess how else it started when the source has them as one person, I would say it was most likely the fanart? Putting Fenton and Phantom side-by-side has a yin-yang appeal, and when they interact in art, you get the sense that these are two characters, not one. This was really popular when the fandom was much bigger than it is now.

For instance

Save Our Soul by nycken isn't a shipping piece by any means, but it could very easily give rise to the idea, especially if someone is new to the fandom.

They did not shy away from it being a self-cest ship back then, though. The idea that Phantom wasn't Danny was there, but I don't think anyone looked for evidence in the show to support it. That seems to be something the ship has evolved into rather than something it started from, and it is honestly my favorite way to see it.

I do have many headcanons about how they aren’t the same person in canon if you're interested! There’s the out of sync transformations, the title sequence and how Super and Fun are shown to separate in the Identity Crisis episode, Vlad’s inability to clone Danny, the way Danny talks to himself, just all kinds of things! If you want to hear more about those I'd be happy to answer 😁 (they'd probably be easier too lol)

But yeah, I think it was TUE and fanart. There may have been other factors (I think this was around the time Yu-Gi-Oh and puzzleshipping was popular too) because fandom doesn't exist in a vacuum, but I really couldn't say for sure. It's a ship that means different things for everyone who ships it. I like the psychological questions when they start off as "one" (the bonded peeps version) and enjoy the aus like soooo much, but others like it only for aus, and others like it as a crack ship, and then there are even others who like it as something dangerous. Some people love it for Fun and Super in Identity Crisis because they're just fun caricatures. It's hard to find the origin point when it has so many branches lol

Arya watched and listened and polished her hates the way Gendry had once polished his horned helm. Dunsen wore them now, and she hated him for it. She hated Polliver for Needle, and she hated old Chiswyck who thought he was funny(he was laughing about participating in gang rape). And Raff the Sweetling, who’d driven his spear through Lommy’s throat, she hated even more. She hated Ser Amory Lorch for Yoren, and she hated Ser Meryn Trant for Syrio, the Hound for killing the butcher’s boy, Mycah, and Ser Ilyn and Prince Joffrey and the queen for the sake of her father and Fat Tom and Desmond and the rest, and even for Lady, Sansa’s wolf.

Arya stared at the face carved into its trunk. It was a terrible face, its mouth twisted, its eyes flaring and full of hate. Is that what a god looked like? Could gods be hurt, the same as people? I should pray, she thought suddenly. Arya went to her knees. She wasn’t sure how she should begin. She clasped her hands together. Help me, you old gods, she prayed silently. hi!! you're one of the blogs who i follow who was in the ud fandom for the longest time so you may be able to help me find fics by a certain author? feel free to ignore this ofc

i was able to find one of them which had been orphaned, and it was called "the widows" on ao3. i'm having the suspicion that they may have just deleted the rest of their works because i'm trying to search by using tags i vaguely remember from the fics and i'm not finding anything, but i may also just be misremembering the specifics? i remember this writer in particular really shaped my headcanons + interpretations of the ud kids and i'm really sad i can't find the rest of their fics now that i'm into ud again a couple years later :(

lookin thru my bookmarks ive found 2 others tho, theres They Are The Night which is an au where all the kids are trapped on the mountain and become w*ndigo in josh's place, and this one she worked on with holeybubushka called Sundown Girls which is a vampire au i still love :']

Let me tell you all a story about a mouse named Lorry Yeah, Lorry was a mouse in a big brown house She called herself the hoe, with the money money flow But fuck that little mouse 'cause I'm an albatraoz

It was early in the morning, the sun was just starting to rise and Kaz hadn't slept all night. It was hard to sleep when a person named Lady Heartless was sharing a room with you and she hadn't been sleeping either. They had seemed to be staring at each other the whole night, studying the other. It was when the light of the sun was just peaking into the window that one of them finally spoke.

"I know a secret about you Kaz Brekker," she said softly. He tried to keep his face blank but she saw some curiosity in his eyes. "I know something happened to you, something bad."

"I'm a pirate, we don't exactly because pirates because good things happen," he said, mocking that she thought she knew him so well. He was trying to keep himself calm, the look on her face was pity and he had a feeling that she did know what had happened to him.

"I know what happened to you on this ship...what the others did before you killed the captain and took over," she said. Kaz could feel his face get paler but he tried to ignore it, swallowing hard and scowling.

"How the fuck do you know any of that?" he asked, gripping the dagger that was hidden under his mattress. He didn't want to kill her but if she planned on trying to use this secret against his crew he would gut her without a thought.

"I don't have a heart, so I learned how to read other people's hearts. In their words, their mannerisms, their eyes. A few years ago when we were stuck in that hallway together, hiding because my job had gone back and you made it worse, I touched your arm, just for a moment but the look on your face I have only ever seen in the faces of the girls I release from the pleasure vessels. That kind of horror is unique," she explained. Kaz felt his breath hitch in his throat. He could see now in her eyes the pity but something else, admiration.

"Why tell me this now?" he asked.

"Because this is a job we're working together on, and its only fair, you have a secret hanging over my head and I have one over yours, we're even," she said. She sat up, the night shirt she wore slipping down her shoulder. Kaz had never seen a woman in his shirt before and he couldn't lie, he didn't hate it. He noticed that her skin looked soft and smooth until it got to the target like scar on her chest.

"Is that where it happened?" he asked even though he knew the answer. She looked down and pushed the shirt up to cover the scars, nodding. "What did it feel like?" She barked out a dark laugh.

"It felt like someone was ripping a vital organ from my body and before I could recover someone put a knife through it," she said. "Your uncle is a fucking prick." Kaz laughed himself at this, showing a rare smile. Y/N caught it and smiled a little herself. His smile was nice, bigger than she thought it would be. "I can't argue with that," Kaz said, getting up himself. He stood, stretching his limbs, shirtless and Y/N watched, the light hitting him just so that she thought for a moment that he was shining. It was possibly the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She quickly moved to stand, grabbing her pants to hide her blush before he could see it. Lord, she had laid with men before, and women, why was this one boy making her feel like a virginal maid. She slid the pants on and stripped off his shirt, pulling on her own. Kaz had slid his on also and watched her finish dressing, sliding on her boots and putting her long hair up in a bun on her head. He liked it better down but he wasn't going to tell her that. "So we should probably wake the others and tell them the plan," Y/N said, moving towards the door. Kaz nodded and followed her out. He requested that only his first mates and her mates join them in the lounge.

"Now Rollins' home is a fortress, heavily guarded at every entrance except for the waterway. It has wide bars that they assume no one could fit through," Kaz explained, showing them a drawn up blueprint of the fortress. Y/N glanced to Inej.

"Think you could fit?" she asked. Kaz looked at her surprised. He would have just commanded Inej to go through the bars or miss out on the money but she asked. He was going to ask her about that later. Inej nodded. "Alright, after Inej gets in what's next?"

"There is a pulley system inside to raise the bars for releasing the bodies of the executed that can pile up there, she will need to use a device that Wylan is creating to blow the levy and raise it for us," he explained. "Once we're in we split into two groups, one group goes to the treasury on the second flor and creates a diversion, that group will be Inej, Jesper, Nina, and Matthias. You and I will go directly to the sea witch being kept in main cell here in the basement. The diversion should have them low staffed and we should be able to handle anyone who's still there. Exactly half an hour after we enter we should be meeting Wylan at the entrance of the waterway to head back to the Crow." Y/N looked at the plans again and squinted some.

"How will the group at the treasury escape if they are creating the diversion?" she asked. Kaz smirked.

"Another feat for your Inej, she will have to be a phantom in the room. When the others are caught the guards will be heading back to their stations and should only leave one or two guards to handle transporting the rest of the group. She will sneak behind them, give Matthias the lockpicks I will provide and take out the guard in the rear. Matthias will free himself and handle the other guard. Y/N nodded and had to admit it was a smart plan.

"You know a lot about this place," she said. "How it functions."

"I grew up there, I should know it," he said. Only those in that room knew of his origins and he looked at the women. "That information doesn't leave this room." They looked to Y/N and she nodded.

"We can keep secrets just like you," she said, eyeing him close. He stared back at her. "But Brekker, remember, you better not just be ruining my life again."

"O I only want to fuck up your night," he said. Jesper rolled his eyes.

"Lord you two have a catch phrase," he muttered.

"Excuse me?" Y/N asked, glaring at the man. His dark eyes danced with laughter.

"Please, every time we meet you two say that. 'Kaz you better not ruin my life' 'O Y/N I just want to fuck up your night' you guys just scream power couple..."

"Enough of that talk," Kaz snapped, cane coming down on Jesper's hand and making him yelp. "Rest up we leave at 9 tonight."

Inej studied the bars in the waterway, swimming in front of them pushing to find any weak spots, testing the width with her head. Just when Kaz thought the girl was going to shrug and give up she slipped through the bars and climbed on the narrow walkway just beyond. She held her hand out and Wylan handed her the small bomb from the rowboat they were in. She light the device and put it on the levy mechanism before hopping into the water. The bomb blew but the bang wasn't startling, it sounded like someone had shot a gun for target practice. They hoped no one would really notice as the bars rose and they rowed in. Wylan stayed with the boat as the others made their way through the waterway and up the stairs. This led to a morgue and the smell hit them all hard. Jesper and Nina gagged, nearly losing their dinners. Kaz took a deep breath through his mouth before pressing on and out the door.

"Jesper, up the stairs down there, will take you to the treasury. Half an hour don't be late or we're leaving without you," he said. Jesper gave him a look that said he didn't believe him before disappearing with the others. Kaz looked at Y/N who was waiting by the door towards the cells.

"How did you find out about this?" she asked as they snuck down the halls, looking for the sea witch. Kaz rolled his eyes. He didn't like talking during a job, but he remembered that Y/N was a chatterbox during a heist.

"I was in Port Hilib and it was a rumor, I bribed a guard here and they confirmed it," he said. Well that was clearly not what she wanted to hear.

"This seems foolish, are you sure that he wasn't lying?" she asked. Kaz growled. He had thought of that just now. He knew he had a need for revenge against his uncle but he didn't realize it had given him tunnel vision. She was right, this could be a trap and he had just brought not only his crew but her. O fuck, his uncle thought she was dead. He would know immediately who she was now and she would be in more danger. Kaz didn't often care about his competition but he liked Y/N and didn't want her dead.

"Guess we'll find out," he said with as much bravado as he could muster. He could see that she didn't believe him but she was still following.

"Guess we will," Y/N said, knowing that they were probably running into a trap. She could only hope that the others got out and that her and Kaz's brains combined could get them out of this one. They turned the corner of the final row of cells to find all of them empty. Now Y/N knew they were in trouble. The only people in the cells were Pekka Rollins and his second in command Barcham.

"Hello nephew...O I see you've brought a guest..." Rollins froze then as Y/N came further into the light and he realized who she was. " Y/N, how...you're supposed to be dead!" Y/N actually just laughed. Pekka looked so old.

"Ok, how long have I been dead? You look terrible Pekka!" she said, still cackling. Kaz looked at her worried. He had been on the receiving end of a beating from Pekka and though it had been years he still felt a twinge of fear in his chest at the look in his uncle's eyes.

"How long have you been around?" he asked, snarling.

"About 5 years now, the Menagerie? Lady Heartless? Ring any bells ya prick?" she said. Now Kaz was panicking a bit internally. He wanted to survive this encounter and she wasn't making that an easy task.

"So you were dead 15 years and suddenly you came back? How?" he demanded. She rolled her eyes while Kaz tried to back out of the hallway. Barcham slid in behind him and held up his pistol. Kaz froze and glared. "Pekka, I traded my heart for legs...then you stabbed me in an empty chest cavity. I literally have no heart, that was not a figure of speech the sea witch was using," she explained as if she were talking to one of her younger girls. Pekka looked positively livid, she could have sworn steam was coming out of his ears but this was just too much fun.

"Um, Y/N, I would really like you to shut the fuck up now," she heard Kaz say from behind her. She turned to see him with a pistol aimed at his head. She nodded and held up her hands, dropping her own pistol. Pekka moved over and grabbed her arm roughly. She felt herself getting sick but held it down. Kaz looked just as sickened when Barcham took his arm and started leading them out of the cells.

"So the sea witch story?" Kaz asked.

"Just a trap to get you here. Your little friends will all be on a prison ship to the Outer Isle in the morning, and you Kaz will hopefully learn your place in this life. Y/N, I might just make sure you're dead this time," Pekka said. Y/N looked at Kaz and he stared at her as they were led away into captivity.

SCREAMS I don’t know!!!! I’ve been thinking about this ask since getting it I have genuinely zero clue I love all arcs so much for so many different reasons!!!!! The first that comes to mind when I think about it is the workshop battle arc, because I love Viole with everything I have and the whole arc (plus the build up to it too!!) hurts in the most wonderful way, but then I keep thinking about it and I realize there’s so many character I live for that don’t appear in it - I love the floor of death arc SO MUCH cause for one, there’s nearly all my favorite characters in it, and also because it’s such a good, dynamic arc?? everything that happens is so much fun and interesting?? also Hockney is there, and Urek is there, and Garam is there, and the Hell Train gang is all there, so!! AH and the hell train as a whole is so damn good (the dallar show???? my whole soul rests in there, Khun’s trust in Bam!! the coin flip with rachel!! Bam’s whole everything!!!!!!!! GAH) but my fav part of it has to be the hidden floor?? because!!!!!! it’s perfect from start to end, everyone in it is wonderful, Bam’s growth in it!!! GODS! My favorite scene in the whole webtoon is in the hidden floor arc, it’s how much I love it - THEN THERE’S YAMA and the whole arc there is so so SO good too, and the latest arc!! how good is the latest arc!!!!!

so yeah I can’t pick - art wise I think it goes without saying that SIU’s art has only gotten better, so the closest to the newest update you go the more I like the art.... though, my favorite Bam is still the short haired one from the Hell Train arc haha

I do question why Spade left certain messages in their final days. I am still holding hope a fervent revolution exonerates everyone. I so desperately want Taylor to regain control of her masters or re-records. Maybe this is the plan they thought was best with multiple goals in mind (re-records, having a family, coming out of the closet one day etc). I’m trying to remain patient because Spade told us to trust her endless yearning. But WOW it is asking a lot of us at this point.

I have no expectation of Taylor coming out anymore. Zero. None. I have no expectation of her dropping Toe or even of Kaylor publicly reuniting. It doesn't even matter that much anymore. But I - do - expect 1 thing. Karlie to drop and completely dissociate herself from the Kushners and this has nothing to do with kaylor. It was everything to do with me being unable to support a person who willfully assists (now using her baby too) and receives money from a family that has made so many suffer.

A year ago, when the Trumps were still in power and untouchable and there was no baby, I was excusing and turning a blind eye to many things Karlie did for the K*shners. Even that dinner in September. I had also made peace with the truth never being revealed. But a year later the Trumps are gone, Karlie is still on full stunting mode now with a baby in the mix, a baby that is already being used by the Kushners, and I've really run out of excuses. Now the only thing that could possibly keep me on board is if I knew there was a good chance that the full truth would come out, so that Karlie's inexplicable and honestly borderline immoral actions could eventually make sense. But as your sub said, this is an unrealistic expectation, thus I became an ex-kaylor and I'm not planning to come back even when they reunite. 😕

What baffles me is that Taylor has explicitly expressed her regret about not giving her lover the credit she deserves and her doubt whether fame is worth hiding her true love: "when I walked up to the podium, I think I forgot to say your name", "what's a lifetime of achievement, if I pushed you to the edge". But yet again she didn't do anything to change this. I didn't expect her to acknowledge Karlie, but a nod or at least not falsely crediting her beard would be a good start.

I'm one of the kaylors who ever since the pregnancy reveal was trying to tell everyone there's NO way she was gonna dump him soon after birth let alone before that. It would bring too much unnecessary attention and Jerk would have never agreed to something that would make him look like a bad guy/husband. For the exact same reasons, I was also saying there's no way he wasn't going to post about the baby. All the above against the popular opinion back then.

2🙁 So I agree that the day of the birth post was known to T, not the timing though. Simply bc Kushner-leaning outlets made sure to note that detail. If they wanted it to go unnoticed, why draw attention to it? That being said, kaylors would have been more patient with this mess, if Karlie hadn't gone overboard with her freedom "smoke signals" last summer and Tay's "insiders" hadn't been insinuating that the end is VERY near. Both of them SHOULD have known by then how we would react to these.

3🙁 So it's natural that everyone feels played and has no patience for any more bullshit. Another sore point is how Jerk AND the Kushner-Trump klan monopolize the baby news. This isn't just to make it realistic, it's an abuse of Kaylor's baby's name to garner good pr for the worst family in America, with Karlie's blessing. In order for her marriage and split to appear realistic she's putting a LIFETIME burden on her child's back. Unless you believe she's eventually gonna say Jerk isn't the dad.

4🙁 So "we’re in a position we should realistically have been able to see coming". But we did see it coming, that why some made these extreme scenarios, bc this is the worst possible outcome. "Good people try to make it work, even in bad relationships." Ultimately this isn't just a "bad rs". It's a horrific association that should have been resolved ages ago, not one to bring your child into, doom it to suffer a similar fate, and expect people to sit idly and watch. That's what frustrates most.
