Today is the 8th day of November welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it is great to be here with you as we reach out together, twist that knob, throw open the door, and walk through the threshold into a brand do shiny sparkly week. And I'm ready to walk into this brand-new shiny sparkly week. I always am because it's a new start. And there may be spillover. We may have all kinds of little entanglements that are being carried over from the last week but how we deal with them, we can take a new approach if we want to. And that's the reminder of a new week but that's also the reminder of a new day. Yesterday may have been brutal and we may have handled everything incorrectly and we’ve got a lot of cleanup to do, but how we approach that in this new day or in this new week, that's in our corner. Nobody's gonna make us defend the positions we had yesterday. If we now realize we may have been incorrect or overreacted we can just walk into this new week humbly, we can just get clean and get true and walk into freedom. And, so, we’ve got us shiny sparkly new week out in front of us and let's dive into it with all of our hearts. We’re gonna read from the God's Word translation this week and we…we will be continuing the journey that we…that’s being pulled forward from last week in the book of Ezekiel and in the book of Hebrews. So, first obviously, we’ll read from the Old Testament. Ezekiel chapters 18 and 19 today.

Prayer:

Father, we thank You for this brand-new week that we are walking into. And we are walking into it with the anticipation that You will lead and guide us. You are always doing this. You are always patient with us and we are humbly repentant for the times that we are just…it's just too chaotic and we are spinning and we are…You are the last person on our mind and we are not…we are thinking about how we’re gonna cope and we’re thinking about how we’re gonna get through and we turn to You when it seems as if there’s no possible way that can happen instead of walking with You through everything knowing for sure we can navigate this. No matter how difficult or confusing it is we will get through. We won't be trying to cope. We will be coping and overcoming because this is a state that is within us as opposed to us asserting our will upon those around us. So, may we be overcome by You, by Your very presence. May we be overwhelmed by Your presence instead of all of the things that are trying to distract us. Come Holy Spirit, well up from within as we become aware of Your guidance and leadership Your comfort. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Good morning my friends this is Aaron from sin city. Hope everyone’s doing well and blessed in these last and evil days. I just want to encourage everyone to be steadfast. Stay with the Lord, stay focused, stay encouraged because God is able to keep you from falling. Jude 24:25 says, “now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy to the only wise God our Savior. Be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and forever.” And remember also that God has not giving you a spirit of fear but love power and a sound mind. So, you’re going through marital difficulties you’re going through depression, you’re going through anxiety, you’re going through stresses in your life, children are backsliding, disobedient. Know that one, the word of God is right, and the word of God is being fulfilled and God is not so easy to forget what you’re going through. He loves you and He cares for you. So, as Peter says, “let’s cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. And don’t worry. Be anxious for nothing. But in everything in supplication and prayer, giving of thanks let your requests be made known.” We just have to learn folks how to just give it to God and let Him deal with it, let Him handle it. Do not boast about tomorrow because you do not know what a day may produce Proverbs 27:1. If you know how much the Lord loves you, you don’t have to sing your own praises, advertise your ability, vocalize your riches. You boast in the Lord God who has given new life, confidence, been your provider, guide, healer, redeemer and loves you with an everlasting love. So, Lord I lift you up today. I lift you up today O Lord and I thank you that you are the King of Kings and Savior of the world, the Creator, Redeemer, Defender and Healer, our Prince of Peace our indwelling God. Your Holy Spirit has anointed us. Your Spirit, You died to provide for us as a covering, down payment, infilling sanctified who releases us from any advantage or strategy of the enemy over our lives. Only because of you Lord do we have truth and life and have it and can enjoy it with you at our side ever filling us with strength and joy whatever comes. We have life and we have it abundant until it overflows into the life of all around us with blessing and encouragement, patients, kindness, goodness. Only in you Jesus, gentleness and self-control. Hello DAB family today is November 4th and I just finished listening to the November 3rd podcast and I’ve gotta tell you Brian’s comments and the end of that…the reading today pretty much epitomized why I love this community so much, why I listen, why I put a log…my own log on the campfire every month to keep the fires burning. If you haven’t heard it, basically it just reminds us to whom exactly we owe our allegiance, to which kingdom precisely, to which king exactly we owe our allegiance and what this is all about - to love one another as we have been loved. So, to that end, thank you Brian. Thank you for giving us this medium that keeps it really real and free the stuff of this world that weighs us down. Also, I just want to give a shout up Julie who I believe called in as a relatively new listener. Praying that what you have lost will start to be restored as you come back and into the word. Daily Audio Bible community I am a…almost a 3-year listener in Chicago in desperate need of prayer. It’s Wednesday, November 4th and I’m just really struggling. I just feel like everything in my life is going badly. I’ve got several strained relationships in my family, horrible things that are happening with my son. Work is good and my health is good. And I know that I should just really be thankful. I’m blessed for the areas that are going good but the things are going bad just feel so heavy today. And I can’t stop crying. I can’t focus at work and I just need all the prayers to get. Thank you so much.

China, I’m still prating for your pregnancy for a healthy pregnancy and that you and Ben will have that baby safely in the name of Jesus. Chris, it broke my heart to hear your prayer request and I pray that God will comfort you and your daughter over the passing of her mother in the name of Jesus. And I am also praying for the sisters that called in, Desiree and the other lady who can’t read her Bible because of cancer. Lord we know O God Lord that cancer is a thief because it was not caused by you Lord. And, so, in agreement with my brothers and sisters in the Daily Audio Bible we come against this cancer in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord of heaven I pray that You will arise with healing in your wings over these ladies O God, these precious daughters of yours O God and everyone in the DAB family battling with cancer or even Covid. Dan, I heard your prayer request about your sister-in-law who is battling Covid. I’m hoping in the name of Jesus that she’s fine now and she’s out of the woods. And I pray for everyone who is still suffering from Covid and is a member of the Daily Audio Bible. Father hear our cries over them and heal them in the name of Jesus. Margot I was chuckling when I heard your testimony. Isn’t that like our God?? You asked for a window, He gives you a balcony. Margot I’m praying for you and praying that God will prosper you in your ministry. I’m praying for all the missionaries from the world, that God would prosper them. Blessing of the Government Taxes

Let me, Dear God, shift the paradigm on this day and blissfully give thanks for the gift of government, and thank the government for the gift of taxes. Bless my taxes, O God! Give me peace of mind as I rejoice in filling out forms and returning money to its rightful owner, the government. Keep me joyous, I pray, as I write out those checks. Yea, Lord, we know that there is little reason to be joyous with this Administration’s imperialism and impending rape of the Iranian peaceful energy program, but the thought of a new tax year still brings to us a swelling tear of joy. And whisper to me, Lord, all the good reasons that I send my money to my government every year.

Raise my awareness to the fact that I could not write this prayer, and would be a barely-functioning illiterate living in the gutter, if I had not received a free tax-subsidized education; my parents could not have afforded both my tuition and their own tax payments, so my tuition was supplied, at no expense to anyone, by the government. Never mind those student loans I’m shackled with, that I’ll be paying of for the rest of my life. Remind me of how my mind has been so wondrously calibrated by our free public schools!

Gently show me that the Internet, through which I send this prayer to others, was created by committees of civil servants. Help me to recall that my freedom to pray as I wish was purchased with tax dollars that paid for dairy price supports. Quietly kiss me as you raise my awareness that the only deserving people, the most noble among us, are those who subsist on government programs — paid for with our taxes. My Lord my God, fondle me as you energize me with the hopefulness of higher taxes that can pay for an even more effective Internal Revenue service, which in turn can collect even more taxes for an even more effective Internal Revenue Service, which will culminate in an ecstatic spiral of an all-encompassing tax-collecting mechanism that will be accountable to no one except to the spirit of economic justice.

Reveal to me, Lord, in my mind’s eye, the public health workers, the regulators of the environment and of commerce, the employees of the Department of Energy, and the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Education, and the Administration for Children and Families, and the Minerals Management Service, and the Rural Business-Cooperative Service, and the Minority Business Development Agency , and the Japan-United States Friendship Commission , and the Government National Mortgage Association, and the Housing and Urban Development Department, and the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements, and the Institute of Peace, and the Bureau of International Labor Affairs, and the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the Small Business Administration, and the Superfund Basic Research Program , and the President’s Commission on Moon, Mars and Beyond, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and the Office of Thrift Supervision, and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission , and the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee , and the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, and the Stennis Center for Public Service, and the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation , and the Peace Corps, and the Office of Public and Indian Housing, and the President’s Council on Integrity and Efficiency, and the National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare, and the National Interagency Fire Center, and the Northwest Power Planning Council, and the Multifamily Housing Office , and the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer, and especially the Internal Revenue Service, and all the other things that my taxes and your taxes make possible.

And please, Lord, remind my brothers and sisters that they should liquidate their savings accounts and mutual funds, bonds and CDs, so that they too can be forced to turn it over to the greatest bargain of all that is Social Security. Educate me, Dear One, of how difficult life was for the sick and elderly before they paid throughout their entire careers, with threat of imprisonment, 14% of their wages for the iron-clad guarantees of Social Security. Please, Lord, make everyone realize that there is no investment more secure, and none that gives such a generous return, as Social Security.

Take me out of my selfishness and give me a spirit of gratitude as I write those tax checks! Remind me of my own virtue as I inform the IRS of cheaters. Inspire me to see that my sacred duty is to serve those who are unable to provide “value” to others, or are unwilling to provide anything for themselves. And that my highest calling is to ensure that others return whatever they have to the Government that You have created.

O Dear One, there are so many ways I wish my taxes could be spent! I’m willing, O Lord, to pay even more in taxes if it would work for the common good: We need a strong government to take back from the rich few and generously give to the many! Lord my God, please put the brakes on commerce, remove all profits from the pigs who “produced” it, and turn it all over to those who deserve it. So, more than ever, dear God, give me the strength and the vision to rise up and press my government to unapologetically take back what is ours. My sacred duty as a spokesperson for the working class can only be fulfilled if we organize, advocate, protest, resist, agitate, and speak truth to power by writing tax checks. I ask for your guidance, God, as I join with others to change the priorities and values of our government, so that they reflect more of our collective will, and my struggle, as expressed through your will.

Lord, you have created all men and wymyn as equals. Any disparity from your plan is an affront to decency. And so I pray, my Dear Lord, that you fulfill your vision for true equality, and remove all excess. In service to you, my Lord, we will not rest until everyone is truly equal. Strike down those that toil and work for a living; Tax the rich. Sicken the healthy. Scar the beautiful. Destroy the “successful”. Drown the bankers. Blind the stock traders. Cripple the athletes and sever the hands of the musicians. Plant carnivorous bacteria in the brains of those who score high on racist “IQ” tests. Deliver wasting diseases to the strong. Starve and stone the executives and managers. Show no mercy to the blood-sucking merchants as they suffer merciless deaths in the searing flames of gargantuan infernos. Smash capitalism and deliver us, Dear One, to our deserved socialist paradise.

Remember that it is always better to ask for assistance and complete the work rather than to try to finish it all by yourself and end up failing to do so.

Inner strength, self-doubt, low energy, raw emotion.

If you have recently experienced a setback, you may be vulnerable and lacking in self-confidence. Know that your core strength will always be with you and now is as good a time as any to reconnect with this power. In fact, you may hold more strength and resilience than you give yourself credit for – so, be kind to yourself. You can also reinvigorate your self-assurance and self-esteem by collecting evidence from your past that proves you have what it takes to succeed and overcome these temporary challenges.

2019′s reading almost seems more intimidating than 2018, which I didn’t think was possible. 2018 was a rough year for me, but if the cards are to be believed again it doesn’t exactly look like smooth sailing ahead for this upcoming year, either.

My plans for the year:

I took a break from school, and I did not move out of Texas (yet). I hope to achieve some of the goals I put on hold last year. I’m content with my job now, but I still see it as a stepping stone for my future ambitions. My friends are still talking about moving to Denver, but we’ll see about that.

I want to finish my thesis.

I want to maintain the healthy connections I have and continue to nourish them.

I am happy with my job, and I’m happy with where I live, but if a good opportunity presents itself, I want to be brave enough to pursue it.

None of this makes sense…It’s like The Lunatics are Running The Asylum.. Repeating the same thing over and over again, expecting different results…Insanity!!!

We are powerless to change the past; in any way; in the present and to try to, causes our lives to become unmanageable. So why so we continue to have clients suffer past trauma memories and diagnose them with disorders that are based on how well they coped through the events. None of this makes sense!! It doesn't benefit the client! The only persons who benefit from this type of therapy are the providers and the the medication manufacturers.

At this point, I would like to introduce you to an N.L.P practice, to help you see the error of this therapy. Personally. I use this practice to gain a view on suffering and how it is detrimental to one’s health and more importantly, there is no rhyme or reason for a client to continue to suffer an event that didn’t happen to them.

Right now, imagine yourself in 10 years from now; how you would want that version of you to be free of all your troubles and terrors; how you are suffering the trials and tribulations of your life today for them; so that they will be free of this; free to have a Life Beyond Your Wildest Dreams; Full of Adventure and Successes; Loves and Laughter; a Life filled with Joy Hope &Purpose.

Now imagine you can see into the future; are able to see the life this 10 year older version of you is living; see that they are not living the life you worked so hard for; the life you endured so much for; rather, they have chosen to endure the very events you suffered for them; you didn’t ask them to do this; you never wanted them to do this; but they chose, they made a choice to suffer an event that belongs to you rather than live a life of freedom that you gave them.

All the suffering you went through; all the times you felt like giving up on life; but you persevered because you wanted a future where you would be free of all this; all your hard work, down the drain; what a waste, what an abuse.

It’s bad enough you suffered an event that would have floored an elephant, but you did it and you stayed as strong as you could be, so that future aspects of yourself would be free of it and be stronger for you having suffered for them; yet, you find, you have been betrayed, your new selves have rejected your best efforts unknowingly.

It’s hard to be angry at them; they love you and didn’t want yon to feel like no-one cared; that you weren’t valued or important to someone; that they weren’t going to abandon you too and its for this reason that they are suffering your pain.

But, the truth, your truth is you never wanted them to suffer this too. It’s like in your life you were a victim at the hands of your victimizer, you had no escape; you suffered it; but you came through it ; you were a survivor!!

In this practice you will get a chance to tell this new version of you that you want them to give you back all of your event; all of the burden; all of the baggage; all of the resentments; all of the hurt and pain; and especially all of the need for justice.

We are not meant to suffer another’s pain, no matter how much we care for them, nor how much we feel guilty. We can only live our lives; suffer our pain; and all we have[which is more than enough] in these 24 hours today.

The past is part of our history; it is dead to us; we have to learn how to return this past; all of it; the good and the bad; back to it’s rightful owner.

Find a quiet place where you wont be disturbed.

Sit with back support of lie down on your back

Practice breathing in and out through your nose: on the in-breath feel the air flow down to your belly[expand your belly on the intake]. On the exhale, pull your belly button to your spine, as you release the air through your nose. Do this for 1 or 2 minutes, slowing down more and until your breath becomes relaxed.

At this point with eyes closed, visualize two spiritual beings climbing up from your physical body. The first spiritual being is you in ten years time; have this aspect of you walk around to one side, looking down on you from about 10 paces. Near enough that you can see them; converse with them, but just far enough away that they are separate to you. the second spiritual aspect of you, is the aspect that suffered the primary trauma event that you are suffering today; have this aspect step around to the other side of your body, about 20 paces away; this aspect, although further away, is connected to you, but not by choice.

start a conversation with the first spiritual aspect of you, the you in 10 years time; give them clear instructions about your pain and suffering, that it is yours. that you are suffering it in the present so that they will be able to have a life beyond your wildest dreams; tell them clearly that you want them to return to you whatever they are suffering for you; thank them for their efforts but explain that their effort is no needed. Tell them that their job in life is to live a life beyond your wildest dreams; tell them that if they truly want to be a part of the healing, have them promise to give you back all of your pain & suffering , and for them to live their lives as an adventure; for you.

Take a moment if necessary [practice the breathwork for 1 to 2 minutes again] or dive right into the next conversation.

This time, its the younger version of you; the aspect that suffered the trauma event that you unknowingly choose to suffer too; even though this was not part of their wishes; doing the talking and you, the one needing to listen.

By now, hopefully you understand the futility of your suffering an event that is & never was yours; that your younger self suffered for you; that they want you to give all of it back to them; that they dealt with it then and now they have a whole host of support to help them clear it now; they have achieved justice and peaceful closure and now only want you to embrace this truth; to let go of all of it, once and for all.

I don’t want to be putting words into your mouth.

This is your truth; you know your truth; you also know the truth of your past selves when you hear it; as much as you will recognize the truth of your future selves.

All that is required now, is to find a way to give this burden back to its rightful owner; so that you, the client becomes the ultimate winner.

Today’s reading of the Psalms and Proverbs

with Psalm 31 and 93 for August 31 and day 243 of the year (the book of 150 Psalms now in its 2nd revolution for the year) reminds me of driving a Chevy Lumina 3.1 to work at Love envelopes, inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma with the number 93 seen on its license plate [TYD 593]

and Psalm 72 for the 72nd day of Summer is a mirroring of the alphabetic number of the word “marriage” along with Proverbs 31 for Saturday, August 31 containing lines about marriage and the beauty of a husband finding a wife of honor. and there is a strong theme of marriage interwoven throughout Scripture, with we as Christ’s Body being seen simultaneously as the Bride of Christ who is the True King of all earthly kings (and queens). and my own personal seed of writing contains a way of finding and connecting with the heart of a woman as a book.

Charm can be misleading, and beauty is vain and so quickly fades,

The 7 Noble Pursuits

There are seven stars worth chasing. Seven selves to become. I call these the “7 Noble Pursuits.” These are the elements, I believe, of a life well lived. Your mileage may vary … I give these for you to consider — not to take as gospel. (Unless you want to.)

1. Health. When your body dies, you die. Even if you believe in an afterlife, or in reincarnation, you shall never assume the same form you take here on Earth at this coordinate in space-time. Your health will, eventually, fail you. It’s incumbent upon yourself to take care of the vessel that harbors your soul. Eat well. Move often. Go easy on the vices. Take care of your mind and body, and your spirit will require less heavy lifting.

2. Joy. This is your inner light. It’s the sun that shines through when the cloud cover clears. You find it in moments of action and novelty, connection and capability. When you create, learn, experience and share. It is the thrill and happiness that requires no reward, no validation to receive. It’s not an end, so much as it is a beginning. It is the smile that saves humanity. It is the cosmic radiance with which you were endowed. The one that demons, stresses, pressures and evil try to stamp out to stop you from feeling.

3. Peace. This is your inner calm. The subsiding of the tempest. The recession of the raging wind. You find it through practice, processing and intentional relaxation. You can find it in nature, but you also nurture it yourself: by tidying up, taking care of your mind and your heart, saying thank you, forgiving others, accepting what has passed and who you are, staying genuinely true to yourself and aligning with your moral standards. The more simply you can live, the more complete you can feel.

4. Communion. It is an unbroken, multi-nodal dialogue between you and your surroundings. The ebb and flow of ideas, empathy, laughter, valor and kindness. You build it by valuing life, truly seeing whole people, cultivating connections through compassion and love, opening yourself up through vulnerability, attaching securely to other secure people, finding belonging and shepherding it for others by striving for equality. A meal shared. A warm embrace. An act of service. A healthy romantic relationship, and sturdy friendships with fellow humans and family.

5. Purpose. If your self was a car, finding your purpose is both a function of the gas pedal and the steering wheel. Passion is the pedal. Integrity is the wheel. It takes curiosity, a sense of adventure, a genuine lust for — and love of — life. You can find it in other people, places and things — by opening doors and holding them open for others. When you find your purpose, you can feel it: the engine hums, the cylinders fire, the steering engages, the braking is effortless, the handling flawless. The drive is what keeps you alive.

6. Wisdom. Change is inevitable, but progress is intentional. Wisdom is more than just the accumulation of knowledge, it is the thoughtful and enlightened application of it. Guided by intellectual humility, it is a relentless and ever-proliferating quest for a grand sense of perspective, a distillation of capital-t truth and all the lower-case truths that take you there. Then, and only then, after growing sage in our hearts and minds, can we properly dispense justice and judgment, teach others with confidence, understand and unlock the mysteries of the cosmos.

7. Freedom. We are all born as ice — heavy and locked. Only vapor — warm and light — is truly independent. This sublimation starts from within: by conquering the demons that keep us paralyzed, small and dependent; by acquiring enough capital to survive, we melt our constraints. We achieve stability. From there, to escape our liquid selves, we must fight for prosperity: investing our time and finances wisely, and investing in others or society at large. The salvation of the self does not exist in a vacuum. It starts within, but can only end with a concerted effort to remove barriers to access, and make the impossible possible, then the possible real. Each droplet floating, wandering as it wishes. Expression is liberation.

We often regard virtue as inconspicuous consumption: we shell out exorbitant sums of capital to demonstrate our wellness, mindfulness and worldliness. Yet, I believe virtue to be far simpler (and more cost-effective!) than even that. It is an IOU. An intentional investment of our time and attention in three cardinal directions:

Inward (health, joy and peace)

Outward (communion, purpose)

Upward (wisdom, freedom)

Clarity, care and courage are the virtues that take us to those places. They get us comfortable with ourselves, with other people, with risk, and with our inevitable demise. We don’t have long left to wander around this rock, and the resume is a ruse — a bullet-pointed list of accomplishments and accolades which no one will talk about when you’re lowered into the ground.

I’ll see you on the second mountain. I have no idea when I’ll see the summit, but if you get there first, please pass your compass off on your way down. I’ll need new guide-stars worth chasing, and new selves yet to become.

The Community of the Called Out

“Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the City, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psa 127:1)

Man is a communal creature by design; we are not built to be alone. While some rare souls seek solace in the caverns of monastic retreat, the overwhelming majority of us are forever compelled toward community. It is how God has wired us.

The question, then, is what kind of community do we seek? Like Abraham of old, we “seek a city, whose builder and maker is God” (Heb 11:10). That is to say, we hunger for a godly community in every sense of the word. Law and order, peace and justice, truth and goodness, love and mercy, freedom and creativity. In one word — godly.

Jesus made it clear that He came to start just such a community on the earth. “I will build My Church,” He said, “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The word He used is ecclesia, meaning “the community of the called out.” This immediately makes us ask, “Called out of what?”

The old hymn gives the best answer –

Out of my bondage, sorrow, and night; Thy freedom, gladness, and light. of my sickness into Thy health, of my want and into Thy wealth, of my sin and into Thyself, Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of my shameful failure and loss; the glorious gain of Thy cross. of earth’s sorrows into Thy balm, of life’s storms and into Thy calm, of distress to jubilant psalm, Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of unrest and arrogant pride; Thy blessed will to abide. of myself to dwell in Thy love, of despair into raptures above, for aye on wings like a dove, Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of the fear and dread of the tomb; the joy and light of Thy home. of the depths of ruin untold, the peace of Thy sheltering fold, Thy glorious face to behold, Jesus, I come to Thee.

But another question rises, “What, then is it that we have been called into?” To be sure, it is a community like nothing this world has to offer. The Bible refers to it in such comprehensive terms as The House of the Lord, the City of our God, and the Kingdom of Heaven. It is both local and global, as well as eternal. It is not institutional; but relational.

It is gathered in the name of the Lord, governed by the word of the Lord, guided by the Spirit of the Lord, guarded by the power of the Lord, and garnished with the glory of the Lord.

And there is only one way into this Community; it is through faith in the Lord Jesus, evidenced by love for His people, which springs out of obedience to His word.

On November 16th, 2018, Venus finally went direct in her home sign of Libra, and Mercury went retrograde in Sagittarius. Venus has been retrograde for almost 6 weeks and brought us down into the depths of our subconscious while she treked through Scorpio. We had to take a close look at the way our relationships with others were keeping us in lower vibration and bring to the surface all of the wounds and traumas that came from relationships in 3D. 

Venus now returns and moves forward in Libra, her home. Venus in Libra adores beauty, art, compassion, equality, justice, love, and peace. We can now take all we learned during her retrograde and put it into practice. Forgive everyone and yourself in any experience you had. Take responsibility for everyone who served as a mirror for you to see yourself. 

Now, we embrace the true essence of love which is full of gratitude, compassion, and divine non attachment. The collective will feel this energy pushing them to open up and begin to unify with one another. Libra always see the highest in everyone and every situation and that is where we are headed. Only the Light exists now and any focus on the dark is only bringing fantasy into the present moment of now. 

On the same day, Mercury went retrograde in fiery Sagittarius. Mercury rules our communication, our thought system, and how we learn information. Sagittarius is freedom loving, truth seeking, and rule breaking. During every retrograde, the energies are asking us to slow down and integrate. There is so much energy that Mom is bringing into the planet, everyone is having to integrate to these new levels. Here at mission house we have had over 30 different rounds of integration this week. Those still choosing EGO will begin to develop pain, illness, disease, and lower experiences. 

Many truths and higher consciousness will begin flooding the planet now and it will take a moment for humanity to digest, as they have been living in deep ignorance. We are adjusting now to our new freedom that comes with divinity, limitless thought, and pure whole truth. Transparency will be key now and many will be standing up to speaking the truth no matter what the cost. 

The EGO takes things personally and resists anything that challenges its belief systems. Now, there is nowhere left to hide from the Light and all belief systems will be completely dissolved as they are not real. This is my book summary of Rules for a Knight by Ethan Hawke. My notes are informal and often contain quotes from the book as well as my own thoughts. This summary includes key lessons and important passages from the book.

If I return safely home from tomorrow’s battle, all the better; but should I not, then turn to these pages whenever you might look for my voice in guidance. I do not want you children to use my untimely death, or any setback that life may deliver, as an excuse not to take responsibility for yourselves.

Create time alone with yourself. When seeking the wisdom and clarity of your own mind, silence is a helpful tool. The voice of our spirit is gentle and cannot be heard when it has to compete with others. Just as it is impossible to see your reflection in troubled water, so too is it with the soul.

All living things rely on each other. If there were no earthworms, the soil would be depleted, grow no food, and we would die. Understanding that he relies on all that surrounds him, a knight is kind above all. He knows he will need many friends. Proper manners are not trivial. Being polite is part of our daily meditation on the equality of mankind.

Humility is the ability to see yourself in the context of a much larger world.

“Be humble or get humbled,” Grandfather would say. “A knight is never so arrogant as to think he has nothing left to learn.”

The simple joys are the great ones. Pleasure is not complicated.

Never pretend you are not a knight or attempt to diminish yourself because you deem it will make others more comfortable. We show others the most respect by offering the best of ourselves.

We all see the world through the prism of our identity.

A knight is the best kind of servant, leaving every space he enters brighter and cleaner than when he arrived. His surroundings reflect his state of mind.

Like a dead branch falling from a tree, which then decomposes and nourishes the soil, your disappointments can transform into the elements of change and growth.

We do not need a “perfect” family or the “ideal” community. The one we have is good enough with which to begin our work.

To head north, a knight may use the North Star to guide him, but he will not arrive at the North Star. A knight’s duty is only to proceed in that direction.

Don’t fear suffering. The strongest steel is forged in the hottest fire.

Without a little agony, none of us would bother to learn a thing.

Anything that gives light must endure burning.

Courage is our ability and willingness to overcome our fear.

Confrontation is always preferable to dishonesty, or injustice.

Do the good you have the power to do.

Magickal Month- July

July is the 7th month of the year, named after Julius Caesar because it was his birth month. The ‘Dog Days of Summer’ begin in July as well. They’re associated with the star Sirius “The Dog Star”, which is rumored to bring drought, lethargy, madness, and bad luck with its return to the night sky. The word Sirius comes from the Greek, meaning ‘Scorcher’. It’s the warmest month of the year, and here in Georgia, the heat is stifling. The AC in the car and house can’t keep up, and our days are spent trying not to overexert ourselves or find cool places to retreat to. The local flora is thriving, however. The mimosas are in full bloom, Queen Anne’s Lace festoons the roadsides, and tiger lilies celebrate the colors of the sun. I’m seeing crows a lot, but not much else. I think everyone is finding cool places to hide. Or I may not be seeing them because I’M the one hiding. It’s also National Hot Dog Month and National Ice Cream Month. Enjoy!

That’s tough for a lot of people right now who are feeling the pain of what our government is doing to its people. So while we would normally celebrate our great country this time of year, this month may be better spent finding ways to protest- writing your congress people, donating to human rights organizations, or even just praying for lawmakers to act with compassion and love instead of greed or fear. If we’re going to celebrate the freedom of being American, we may want to exercise some of those freedoms in service to the oppressed. Also, we’re working towards Lughnassadh at the end of the month, so it’s time to start thinking about the first harvest of our efforts for the Spring and Summer. Think about your efforts as golden grains, grown from your intentions. What are you harvesting from your hard work? General activities for the month: Doing whatever it takes to keep cool! Weeding your garden, swimming, spending time near water, fireworks, cooking out. Baking bread for Lughnassadh. Herbs I’m using: Peppermint (cooling and energizing), lemongrass (the oil is great to use in a mosquito repellant spray- which I keep in the fridge to keep it cool), basil (SOOOO good and fresh right now!) Stones I’m using: I’m feeling really drawn to lunar and watery stones, perhaps because I’m craving the coolness of the night and water. Moonstone, girasol rose quartz, aquamarine, larimar. I’m just letting their cool, refreshing energy wash over me. Goddess of the Month: I’m still really working with Persephone quite a bit. There’s just so much to unpack with her story, and I feel connected to her as a goddess who embodies grace through transition. July 3 card reading First, we have the 5 of Discs reversed. So we’ve been stuck in a time of poverty, whether that be financial, spiritual, or social. But it’s reversed, so we’re seeing a way out of that. If we’ve been stuck in a bad situation, we can count on that coming to an end. Something will be coming along to help us get back onto our feet, and it’s about time! Next we see the 3 of Cups reversed. So this isn’t the best time for socializing and communication right now. I feel like this has a lot to do with Mercury and Jupiter going retrograde this month while Mars, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto were already in retrograde. Everything is a bit topsy-turvy, and there may be trouble in communication, especially in close friendships and relationships. So just keep that in mind, and try not to let little problems become big problems right now. Ghosts & the Supernatural – Stumbling through a mystical universe, filled with stars and jewels, I am enraptured with the beauty of this place. It is not so far away, yet it exists in multiple dimensions and times. My mind guides me to a library of information. I can read it by the touch of the temperature on my skin. I can absorb it like knowing what a smell is, a color stands for and where a dream exists.

“Somewhere in the ancient future is sapphires that come from Saturn”… The text plays out on multiple screens and the knowledge is digitally spread. I am here now in that room with this mana. I have suddenly pulled into a sanctuary with many others who are waiting to connect in this realm, together to learn. We step out of our realities by piecing together the secrets of a special existence.

The words pass on through us like a wheel, cycling and leaving behind tracks from where to guide us. My third eye sees past all the basic patterning of human understanding and pulls together the clues, which must be found. Well what path do we lead to next on this timeline? May we move forward together now?

Americans have named this jewel as the birthstone of September. It will bring those born in this month so much joy. It is similarly used to honor the planet Venus, which rules over Libra, whose reign begins on September 23 and ends October 22. Libra is the seventh sign in the zodiac and in the moments of mass belief in ritualistic celestial timing, the planet Saturn was thought to be the seventh in line from the sun, instead of the sixth, (when people thought that the moon was a planet). In ancient Roman mythology, Saturn is the god of agriculture, dissolution, liberation, time and wealth. In Roman culture, he was celebrated profoundly in the month of December with a festival called the Saturnalia. It was a time to give each other gifts, appreciate the richness of the spiritual world and to be merry. Because of the high praise and worship, the day Saturday is so named for this reason. It is the part of the week that traditionally we find the time to appreciate our freedom and servitude to others.

Saturn’s father is Caelus (Uranus) and his mother is an Earth goddess also known as Gaia. He took a wife know as Ops. She birthed him several gods, also known as Ceres (goddess of plants), Juno (protector of women), Jupiter (the god of sky and thunder), Neptune (god of the waters), Pluto (god of the underworld), Veritas (goddess of truth) and Vesta (goddess of the hearth and home). Because it was prophesized that Saturn would have a child that would be greater than him, he ate up all his children, except Jupiter, who was hidden away by his wife. She fed him a stone instead, fooling her husband, which caused him to vomit the children back up. Hereafter, Jupiter was the one to overthrow Saturn, who had previously taken the crown from his father Uranus.

Saturn’s reign was widely popular during a peaceful and prosperous reign, called the Golden Age. Life was abundant and merry. Many lived with the gods in passion and vitality. There were many moments of happiness and joy. He is often depicted as an old man because during this era people were known to live long years very easily. He also holds associations as father time. His popularity was so great that the planet Saturn was named in his honor and beauty.

Sapphires in Dreams

In dreams, jewels are known to portray the riches of life. This can mean anything from a sexual pleasure to business dealings and luck. The color richness is important as it identifies with the level of energy being dealt here. In our world, a hard stone like this is valued for its composition. For spiritual purpose, we are filled with peace, love and desire when we see one. All of these lovely fractions of light help to give sapphire its ultimate mystical power. When we acknowledge the great splendor, we can increase our essence and enchantments.

Folklore tells us that in Persian culture, it was believed that the Earth was a sapphire and that’s why the sky was blue is because of the reflection of this light. If this jewel is ground up, it can be used as an all-purpose medicine. The Ten Commandments are rumored to be inscribed onto this object. Stories from the bible, about the breastplate of Aaron, describe this presence and quality. In parts of the Orient, Saturday was the day to dress in blue and wear this charm. From the British throne, Princess Diana wore one on her finger as a sign of royal love. Blue represents the heavens and so it’s a retainer of holy resonance.

Because of its Greek language origins, it is also known as sapheiros and in Latin as saphirus. It is meant to increase one’s faith, luck and happiness and also to keep the wearers thoughts pure and divine. Oftentimes in history it is thought to have been mistaken for Lapis Lazuli, which also increases a person’s intuition and psychic nature. Its shape is important and the clearest qualities will bring about the highest possible attunement.

Sapphires from Saturn

What I know is what I hold in my hands and so it resonates inside of me. My heart and soul radiate with a positive energy, aligning with other forces that are just as bright. We attune ourselves to one another and reach far into the Heavens to bring down our amulets of sapphire. We are each rulers of our temples and leaders divine.

My Spiritual Life:

·Lord, I praise and thank You for your great love for us that while we were yet sinners separated from You by our sin, You made a way by Jesus’s death on the cross as payment for our sin, that we are able to approach You with acceptance.

·“In (Christ Jesus) and through him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” (Eph. 3:12)

·“Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus...let us draw near to God with a sincere heart." (Heb. 10:19, 22)

· We come in the name of the great High Priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses, Hebrews 4:14-15(NIV) and is therefore able to save completely all those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. The Lord’s Prayer

· Protect me from satan and from him making me ineffective and miserable by destroying my peace and joy. Help me not to feel bad, or discouraged. Protect me. Help me flee to You. Help me grow in depth and strength. Raise me up to serve You in incredible ways. Protect me from evil.

· That I would grow in the theological virtues of faith, hope & love (which are a free gift of God): faith in You, hope towards Your future (of salvation & resurrection & anticipation of life with You and being part of the royal priesthood of Your kingdom), and love towards both You and my neighbour.

· And grow in the cardinal virtues: prudence (wisdom), justice, fortitude (courage), temperance (restraint).

That pastoral staff would be driven to seek You for Your guidance in all that they do. That they would be led by the Holy Spirit. That they would be more caring. That they would have love for all members of their congregation, not just their own clique of pastoral staff, not just those of a certain demographic, or who they think are cool, or who are talented, or important, or smart, or rich, or who only agree with them. That they wouldn’t show favouritism. Keep them from being driven by fear and insecurity and success and wanting to be popular and trendy. While they enjoy unity amongst themselves, may they also care deeply about being united and loving towards the church body. THAT THEY WOULD BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, NOT THE SPIRIT OF THE AGE. FOR MISSIONARIES:

VWs in Tanzania

· Pray for wisdom and guidance as they take on responsibility as team leaders and to carry on without the WFs.

· Pray for the WFs as they transition into their new life in England, especially for their 3 kids who have grown up in Tanzania all their lives.

· Pray for the farmers they are working with doing conservation agriculture, that they manage their demonstrations plots well, learn the principles of improving soil fertility, and realize increased crop yields, even on their small trial plots.

· Pray that the tree nurseries and trees that will be planted in January will grow well and survive challenges like livestock and drought, to eventually provide forest products like forage, fruits, fuel, compost, and rain.

· Pray for their girls and A and their teaching assistant as they start a new semester of school at home.

· Pray as they move from the home they’ve loved for the last 2 years and move into the WF’s home above the office and make it our home and create a new homeschool space.

· Pray for the process of registering EI Tanzania as a registered organization in Tanzania, and for our leaders, the board and executive committee, as they oversee this process.

· That people would come to know the Lord. That their church would thrive. Bless their outreach ministries.
