He would raise high heaven and hell for you if you just ask him.

𑁍 A/N: Hi sweetheart! I finally got a small breather since february, thesis defended, exams finished, but we have an upcoming ball and the deadline is killing me, but all is well~ how about you? Awiee thank you very much, it feels like it's been so long since I wrote for the mochis! In a semi-hiatus but this one sounds cute I can't resist. No worries I understand your English very well~✨

I don't think you fully grasp the power you hold.

Wife of the strongest sorcerer. Madame of the Gojo Clan.

It's easy for you to be overlooked because of Satoru. And while for others that could be the power your husband has over you, for you it was a blessing in disguise. You didn't have to associate yourself with political matters, not when Satoru is solely recognized in the Gojo Clan.

But it wasn't a smooth ride. No one would understand until they see it with their own eyes.

Satoru held your cold hand as the two of you ascend the stairs of the huge Gojo Residence. The stairs leading to the main hall where Satoru's parents are waiting seem to be too steep for you.

"Should I carry you? I know your knees are still weak from last night." Satoru teased with a sly grin and a knowing look behind those glasses of his.

It barely eased you but you couldn't hide the blush on your cheeks.

"You better shut your mouth or else I'll castrate you when we get home." You hissed and walked again.

That's right. You have Satoru. You have your husband. You're married and no one else can deny that.

But as you walk inside the large hall, too large for the two people waiting inside, but too suffocating with their conspicuous eyes trained on you.

You could feel your heart drum from the simple move of sitting in a seiza manner in front of them. They don't have to try hard in exuding the aura of indifference and eloquence, something they are born and raised with as an elite family of sorcerers. A clear difference between your worlds apart.

Their world you are not acquainted with.

"Y/n is my wife now." Satoru didn't hesitate to speak. He declared, looking them straight in the eyes. "I will never marry anyone else besides her."

Your heart pounded so hard you swear it would jump out of your rib cage. You know that but it feels different when your husband put it into words. The intensity it holds could shatter and build you up.

His parents didn't even act surprised. Perhaps deep down they already knew this will happen whether they agree or not.

You watch his mother's eyes pass a kaleidoscope of emotions. A mixture of pain, sadness, guilt, and softness. As if she hurts so much for her son.

You greeted them in a heedful manner, taking into account that you are not familiar with them ever since Satoru brought you in his ascending ceremony after breaking off the engagement with their ally clan, the Tachibana. No one may mention it with Satoru present, but you know that it was one of the many things it is hard for his parents to genuinely like you.

"It might not be much but Satoru and I prepared a gift, something we picked together." You held the paper bag, containing rectangular boxes. Inside are wine bottles you especially liked, Valais Mundi Electus and Pinot Noir from Basel-Landschaft.

"You didn't have to bother. But thank you for the gift." Your Mother-in-Law smiled politely and accepted the gift. Your Father-in-Law on the other hand remained silent, arms crossed on his chest.

"There will be a dinner banquet for your marriage. Right now everyone does not know you are already married. It would be uncalled to just have a civil wedding."

It's not hard to spot the unusual and sharp looks thrown in your direction. As if it's a sin to hold your husband's hand, and the glimmer of your rings tucked in your fingers.

Satoru notices this as well. One turn from his head sent them all facing to what they were doing.

None of them could touch you. Neither their dagger eyes nor their desperate nails for an Infinity lies between the only woman he will allow within his high walls, his wife.

He was first worried about you. He knows the clan might be subservient to him as their master, but not to you. One of the reasons he preferred building a home away from the estate is to keep you safe from the malice and hostility of anyone who might dare hurt you.

But everyone has claws. Even his calm and doting wife could be cruel if she needs to be.

Satoru hid behind the partition of the room. You sat on a raised chair and the vast hall was filled with overturned heads of the Tachibana Clan.

"Satoru didn't mention breaking your jaw." You blankly down and look at Marika, pinned down to the ground by her own family. "You should thank him. If it was me, I would sit on a chair and have all your limbs broken one by one."

Marika's mother shut her eyes and averted her head away from her daughter's pathetic sight. Even if you turn it all over around, it doesn't change the fact that this woman has also carried her daughter for nine months only to see her grow vain and miserable.

The whole Tachibana Clan wore white kimonos as if mourning for a person still alive. Or they were probably mourning for their lives.

"This won't take long. I still have a newborn to take care of." You straightened your back in the cushioned chair prepared especially for you. "I'll give you two choices to save your lives so choose wisely."

The room went silent. Everyone was on the edge, the glint in their eyes showed they are anticipating whatever you tell them to do for their lives.

"If you want to save your clan, feed your daughter the poison she gave me until she stops living. But if you want to save your daughter, all of you drink the poison, until you become sterile and die for how long it would take you to. It's a very easy deal don't you think?"

Satoru looks at the aghast faces of the clan, all staring at his wife, calmly sitting with an emotionless face. That was already a light punishment, but he didn't think you would use this kind of method, neither Marika nor the Tachibana Clan will escape condemnation and guilt no matter who survives.

Satoru resisted the urge to laugh. You sound so simple as if their lives is the same as asking how much is the box of eggs in the grocery.

Both two choices are certain demise for the clan. The guilt of making their daughter sterile and die. And all of them drink the poison that prevents them from having any more children, effectively ending the bloodline of the Tachibana Clan.

"But my husband will protect me anyways. Even if you think I'm hiding that doesn't change the fact I will take my due for what your Young Lady did to me and my daughter." The calmness in your voice only irked the men, pathetically kneeling, all too arrogant to kneel before a woman, but too cowardly to face the consequences of their actions.

"You make all this move because you're hiding in your husband's back." Someone snap out of spite.

It didn't faze you, but made you smile with no humor instead.

"Then it is our Young Lady's fault why are you roping us in!" More and more started to rise.

"Shut up!" But they all stopped when the Patriarch roared and look at you, with a final look in his eyes. "I will handle my daughter to your former choice. Just keep my clan safe."

"F-Father?!" Marika cried. Finally the cracks of her mask surfacing. "All my life, I did what you asked me for!"

But it fell on deaf ears. You watch the man discard his daughter. And you just know... What bounds he is willing to keep his clan afloat by hook or by crook.

They can never be trusted. You will remember their faces one by one.

"You can try taking revenge on me, but before you could even dare to take the first move, I will have my husband personally finish what you all started." You took your time to burn their faces at the back of your head. "If you think sacrificing your daughter will relieve you, it doesn't change that all of you are monstrous parasites using each other to satisfy your greed."

You stood up and leave, no one dared to stop you.

You've always thought you could live peacefully. You didn't have to bother with doing any duties in the Gojo Clan because Satoru never asked you to nor do you think you have the qualities to manage such a big and intricate household. But that apathy led you to where? You almost lost your daughter if not for alertness.

"Mother..." Your Mother-in-Law stood at the door with a soft look on her face. Neither of you had to say a word to understand what you are feeling.

He would raise high heaven and hell for you if you just ask him.

Just now, you could dictate the lives of a whole clan with one single word. Only then did you realize, you have to be strong to be the strongest's wife.

"It's a girl." Kouki huffed versus his sister.

"I told you it's a boy!" Saika pouted.

You watch the two fight out what will be the gender of their baby sibling.

"But what if they are twins?" You blink and put a hand over your lips, internally grinning.

Kouki instantly turned pale. Saika on the other hand jumped in excitement.

"I want a baby sister and a brother, looking like Mama." Your little sugarboo giggles, wiggling into your arms for a hug. She put her ears against your stomach which is barely showing yet.

"That's the last right? Mama?" Kouki wore a very complicated look, almost begging you to say yes.

Just in time, the front door opened, with Satoru loudly yelling "I'm home!"

Kouki didn't waste time running to his Papa. Readying his cuteness to take his father to his side.

"This is the last one right Pa? Right?" The mochi whined.

"What last Kikufuku?"

"Last sibling." You supplied for him, taking pity on your son. You ruffled your little princess's hair and ushered to the side, making space for Satoru who put Kouki on top of his lap.

"If it's the last then we should make it a two!"

"Yes!" Saika.

"NO!" Kouki.

Internally you faint just thinking of a twin with Satoru as the father. Boy oh boy, it'll be one hell of a ride for sure.

The callous hand of your husband held yours as he pull down the blindfold and rest his forehead against your shoulder.

You would do anything to keep this home safe and sound.

Specifically when it comes to the Millenium Tower, there's a hell of a lot of death and I'd imagine more negative energy tied up in that place than most at Tojo right now initially think about. Nishikiyama and the explosion are of course at the forefront of people's memories, but that entire tower was built on top of a lot of suffering. I wouldn't be surprised if Tachibana's gone and cursed that land at this point l m a o.

I think a Dojima stepping foot onto the empty lot, then specifically poking around for ghosts might be worthy of provoking echos of what happened on the land that building's built on. I figure "Chairman Dojima" has been thrown around a lot in the tower the past few years, so as far as Tetsu knows, Dojima essentially succeeded in getting what he wanted- his legacy secured in the Chairman position within the Tojo Clan.

Nishiki I always hc'd as helping babysit Daigo sometimes but to a lesser degree than Kiryu; he knows Daigo well enough to find him an inoffensive brat/edgelord the last he met him, but to Tetsu he's an unknown, just an extension of Dojima.

fhdfd hope that clears it up. If I'm gonna be real I just thought it made for a more fun comic to put him there; I had an alt ver w Nishiki in mind but it just didn't feel the same to me. I wanted to do something that took advantage of Tachibana's pre-existing entity vibes.

okay i finished y0 properly and now i need to get this out into the net just so i dont feel like im losing it but

is makoto.... a kiryu parrallel???? ive completed only 0, 7 and 8 but i know some of the bigger over arching plot points later, so this might be a nothing burger but. these 2 are?? ??? holy shit?

they both share an undeniably kind hearted gentle nature (even though kiryu wrecks shit)

both are 20 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? writing team...?)

majima has stated his preferred type to be someone somewhat socially awkward. makoto meets this stemming from her disability in y0, and kiryu is undeniably socially awkward

both lose contact with their brothers, sworn or not, (tachibana, nishiki) for 10 years, find them greatly changed and then effectively witnesses their death in front of them

makoto was blind, and kiryu becomes disabled stemming from his cancer illness in y8

majima witnesses both leave the criminal underworld due to their connections with the outside, respects and even tries to protect their situation. makoto with her relationship with the doctor, and kiryu with his relationship to his surrogate/adopted daughter haruka.

-6a. both effectively starts a family!

makoto effectively sentencing the tojo clan to implode by demanding the 3 heads of some of their top honchos, and kiryu's 'touch makoto and ill bury the clan' threat to kuze.

theres also some level of wordplay going on, with makoto meaning Truth, and the maki in makimura meaning To Get Tangled Up. the Ma in Majima also means truth, and it's kinda heavy here that Majima ends up liking a girl named Truth who did everything in y0 as sincerely as she wished.

kiryu also has that level of sincerity on top of his stupid godzilla strength, but take that strength away and uh he starts looking a lot like makoto. going into the hornet's nest solo, as did makoto... and he cant lie for shit.

plus kiryu seems (from my limited understanding) to be constantly pulled back and get Tangled Up in the yakuza stuff repeatedly

so if majima fell for makoto, then... the subtext seems to strongly suggest he later falls for kiryu too?

i don't know if this is too niche or personal, but as someone also from a "doomed" city with a perpetually grim future, i really love how RGG has portrayed kamurocho. in tachibana's penthouse, we're introduced to it as a beautiful glittering cityscape. when kiryu hangs out with nishiki, it's a maze of rundown buildings but the best ramen, if you know where to look. it's got a wide network of homeless people who see all. it's got scumbag billionaires and it's overrun with gang violence. yet every substory shows us NPCs with full lives despite kamurocho always threatening to collapse.

and it always is in danger. the tojo clan is ripping it apart for both kiryu and makoto in Y0. it blows up once in YK2 and almost does it a second time at the end. kiryu always comes back because some motherfucker is like "the tojo clan and kamurocho are in danger, we need your help". that's like, what it feels like? shit will happen on the news and it'll always be personal. no matter how far away you move - for kiryu, okinawa, nagoya, etc - it always holds on. it never leaves. this city and its doom will always be wrapped tightly around your heart.

but everyone's seen a tragic city. it's all over our stories. but kamurocho, despite it all, is still so lovingly rendered. kiryu can duck into alleyways and find a burger joint. he can buy ridiculously specific things at don quiote. he can play pocket circuit, he can go to arcades, he can play pool. it's a shithole of a city overrun with gang violence and poverty but it's still so full of life. despite everything you can still race cars and buy gifts for pretty women and invite your friends to karaoke. despite everything, you can still live.

like yeah, the devs probably didn't mean to appeal to this incredibly specific heartache, but i love kamurocho so much anyway. every time i run around it, it feels like home. it's a fucking disaster but it's my, and so many other characters', disaster.

she's director of a troupe of actors and included in the people she recruits for said troupe are: a prince who fled from his homeland and is currently being chased down, a guy who had previously been living in the dorms after breaking in that everyone thought was a ghost, the yakuza debt collector she met on her first day, former leader of a biker gang who is implied to have confessed to murder on stage, a man that showed up passed out on their front doorstep (which, when he woke up, she immediately asked if he was interested in acting. he could not remember who he was), a member of a secret crime organization who kidnapped her to get back at the amnesiac, the heir to the yakuza clan the debt collector is from, And More. The other actors routinely commented on how crazy she was for just offering a spot in the troupe to everybody.

She also is infatuated with curry and can and will talk for 5 hours about different spice combinations. One character gave her a nickname basically saying she's from planet curry.

when the one guy kidnapped her, she was not concerned at All and instead made him run lines with her. He tried to ignore her. it did not work. She has two things on her mind always: curry and her actors

takes your hands. come on this journey with me. for reference i consider kiryu to be exclusively gay but i feel like a lot of this except one bit also applies when reading him through a bisexual lens also <3 come listen to me talk about the way kiryu touches himself and how it changes throughout his life <3

i think when he was in his 20s he was a hedonist, far less so than nishiki but still, basically a frat boy, a horny 20 yr old. i dont imagine him having any actual sex partners during this time, in fact i think he's a virgin well into his middle age at Least. so he jacked off a lot. usually into his fist. i can see him making a fleshlight with 2 wet sponges and a cup. sometimes he got brave and touched his ass but felt so ashamed of it the days after he would be jumpy around nishiki and any other yakuza. then, he goes to jail for 10 years. i think this period severely stunts him, because we know kiryu loves to just compartmentalize and shove all of the scary feelings down so he can just keep ignoring them, and being an invisible inmate makes that so much easier. any self pleasure he does during and immediately after this time is quick, utilitarian. dry and chafing just getting it over with, you know? any emotion attached to the act is a distant staticky buzz in the back of his mind.

of course im a kazumaji truther so during yakuza 1/kiwami, majima introduces to him a new level of sexual frustration that leads to him exploring pain and masochism by himself. majima doesnt *give* him this fetish, so much as he just opened the locked door to it. he digs his fingers into the cuts and bruises majima leaves on him and turns the shower water up until its scalding because if he didnt do this in the shower he'd pass out after with dried cum on himself. i think his feelings toward majima during this time are frightening spaghetti to him - something im sure irritates majima to no end, majima in my mind is far more assured of himself and who he is and his own sexuality and attraction to other men - and i dont think that kiryu does much in the way of exploration around this time aside from the odd burst of confidence (we were robbed by the banana bar substory.) he might try to touch his ass again here and there but theres still that twist of shame that he cant quite shake. i dont know when exactly i hc him entering a relationship with majima, if at All (i love the angst), but if he is having sex with majima at this time i think that relationship kicks his Growth into overdrive and he overcomes those hurdles a lot easier.

shame, i think, holds kiryu back a lot, because if he is this way, he isnt what is expected of him. if that makes sense. kiryu is supposed to shoulder it all alone and keep the tojo clan from sinking and there isnt room in that power fantasy for taking it up the ass and finding comfort in another mans arms, because this series is rife with toxic masculinity and commentary on it here and there.

on theme with burying his feelings and how peoples expectations of him affect him, kiryu in 2/kiwami 2 is DEEPLY SUICIDAL. like the whole game. if you havent noticed. kiwami 2 is one of my least favorite games of the series so this may color my judgment here a little. i think both kiryu and kaoru were experiencing comphet as their relationship progressed, especially the weird makeout next to her brothers corpse. you do weird things under stress, adrenaline, and trauma, and thats what i chalk this part of the game up to. i dont see him engaging in much, if any, self loving around this time period because of his severe depression, ptsd, and deep desire to end it all. if he does its in the "i might as well" way, or just to make time pass. he might even engage in it in a compulsory way, because he knows he'll feel a little better by the end bc orgasming does that, but its literally just for that purpose, not to Feel Good in a sexual way. just to hurry up and crank one out in the shower so he can get it together enough to get haruka to school.

kiryu has growing to do when he starts raising children and does his best to let go of any predjudices he has, but i think he still struggles with his own attraction to men. he never ever would teach his kids anything but to be kind, even if they find something odd. but he cant afford that kindness to himself. when i was in elementary school, i came home one day and told my mom "today i learned from my friend that gay is when boys like boys and that lesbian is when girls like girls :)" and then...that was that. she was like. "ah. okay... who said that to you? i see. did he say anything else about it?" and she didnt really push me to one conclusion about those facts. thats kind of how i see kiryu navigating some of these conversations. he'd steer them toward the kind option, if they needed it, but sometimes "yeah thats right. gay men are men who like men. lesbians are women who like women." is all you need, the confirmation that its real, and the neutrality that means yeah its fine.

and i think haruka is the most perceptive of kiryu bc of how they have grown together so like She Knows. if anyone puts the pieces together besides majima itd have to be her. and i think the conversation they one day (probably not around 3-era, unsure where i'd place this) have kind of also touches on harukas own bisexuality bc nothing abt what she did w that one girl she was friends with in 5 was hetero. 2 me. i wish I could be more coherent about this scene in my head, but i feel like its a conversation where a lot remains unsaid but is innately understood. they dance around the topic because saying it outright teeters on too much, but they know what theyre talking about. the love between them is unconditional.

So talking to the clan head Daigo, he wanted to track down wherever you went saying that "you were very suspicious" or "she might be working with the other yakuza, and we might get information about them through her." such excuses made Daigo reluctant, I mean, spying a "normal" woman's life is very much mess up and he hasn't even heard about you but Daigo trusted his right-hand man, how can he not? He has done many things that improve the clan. So in the end Daigo agrees to track and keep an eye on you by Mine, and so with that, you were being watched over Mine, everywhere, he now has all the cameras in all of Kaumuroscho even in the most darkes alley, and he has it. Maybe he was trying to find out something suspicious or maybe just to feed this growling dog inside of him, asking, and yearning to see more of you. Yet this begins a story of a man falling in love, a man who wants to control you.

Mine would show himself but he would be planning your downfall, making you lose your job, turning your friends against you, and making you unable to pay for rent, causing you to be kicked out, you have nowhere to go until Mine saw you on the street and gave you a very manipulative smile, taking you away and asking you to be his secretary and this could have been an angel send but little did you know that you were just about to walk to the devils palm (if you know the devils palm reference ily and we should kiss)

As his secretary, you are more tense than ever. Mine giving you many strict rules and many more, make sure that you keep a list of his next meeting and all, even though he told you he was in the yakuza which is a MAJOR red flag, you agreed cuz hey, beggars vant be choosers so you decided that if you have food in the table a roof in your head and security from all the dark business that he's doing then you would be good, Mine did tell you that hell makes sure that you won't be involved in any kind of yakuza business where you need to spill blood, no only some shady ones.

Mine as your boss, is very much restricted, he would be so close to you that he's practically breathing your scent, to see "your progress" and he would make sure that you have more work than assigned no matter how much you want to pull your hairs out you can't really complain to your boss, the same boss that is giving you money to live a stable life. Now if he were to kidnap you, he knows that you would throw a "childish" tantrum so, of course, he has tricks up his sleeve after many months of planning to kidnap you, one of them is using your family or friends as blackmail material, he wouldn't kill them (for now) but he will use them as his pawns to keep you from staying away from him, every failed attempt to escape or even bad manners like spitting on his face, he would give you a satisfying slap and as for your escape he would make your close one's life like hell, they will lose their job and their house by some unknown organization. Don't you even dare disrespect Daigo in any kind of way, he will drag you from your hair and hold your face and bind your wrist together as he gives you one of the most furious looks ever, your wrist too would be bruised, he would tie you up in his basement and leave you there for many days, until you apologize from disrespecting Daigo he would then let you go and soothe your wounds.

TACHIBANA AAAAA EXPLODES

Our beloved Tachibana, his sophisticated yet intelligent demeanor had lured you in like a siren's voice, a siren that will lure you by her voice and her beauty is the only thing shinning beside the mast of gold she has beside her (yandere siren tachibana au?). Tachibana like Mine will plan your downfall and come to your life like a savior, and we all know what happens next, you have nothing else but despair and disappointment in your heart. The one who will bring you into the light is none other than Tachibana our beloved Tachibana who will take care of you. How can a nice and soft-spoken man, ever do such things, they're gonna look at you like you're insane!!

Actually, while we are on the topic of family, Tachibana would actually want a child himself, yes, he knows that he needs an heir but he deeply wants a child of his own. Most of all Tachiaban wants to live a good life even if it is a short one, he wants you to talk about your day as you carry his child while he fixes his prosthetic arm after giving the person who was planning to kidnap you a good punch.

I DESPISE this bastard Oda, after what he has done to my beloved queen Makoto.

The glorious asshole himself Oda, as you said aint a savior unlike his boss, he is willing to hurt you so you can learn how to love him. It doesn't matter if it's physical or psychological he will hurt you no matter what. He has no problem pulling some strings to get you kidnaped by his old pals and letting them play with you for a bit, and then he will come and save you like some kind of superhero, he would make sure after what happened to you, you will cling unto him like a leech and never let him go and he sucks ever affection and attention you give him, he speaks like feathers are roaming around you yet, in reality, are insects ready to eat you whole. Escaping him would be impossible, being the right hand of the most powerful estate agent in Kamurocho, leaving him won't be easy. He will use your family as blackmail but, if you push his buttons hard he will not hesitate to kill your family in front of you, their waling screams pierce your ears, a night to remember. He has no morals and would not even stop until you behave.

Even though you will have the luxury of living a good life with Oda, his kindness and gentle manner are only a facade to his demonic self, act out of line again then you wouldn't mind being thrown in his basement with no food or water as you makes you forcefully watch a video of your father getting tortured. He will leave you there for days and come back to you in your disheveled state, he will make you take a bath and feed you, he's going to break you and rebuild you as many times as he wants until you behave.

SAEJIMA MY FAVOURITE YAKUZA CHARACTER OMFG AON IM SQUEELING, I HAD TO REFRAIN FROM RANTING IN HIS PART IJOIDCDIOKVGS

Ah yes, Saejima the man with blood in his hands, his hands are rough and big, and calloused yet here he is the same man that has a hand that can grip a man's head with one arm while being wounded not knowing how to send a text to someone, and of coarse you never blame him he spend many years in the gutter and missed out of all human technologies, you are more then happy to explain the basics!! He listens attentively, absorbing the information and memorizing it all the best he can, he tries his best but most of the time he has a hard time concentrating when your body is touching him, he likes it when you in his side while you tap on the "cellphone" but please do be patient with him, he is learning! Even though he is acting aloof he can spend more time with you and listen to your voice. Also, Saejima asked about your favorite music which you happily agreed to give recommendations about, you happily listen to your music taste and make Saejima listen to any kind of genre you listen to, it's just an excuse for Saejima to be close to you and see your smile as you hum the lyrics, he has to stop himself from trying to hug you and kiss you afraid that he will make you uncomfortable.

Saejima is vulnerable to you, he trusts you that he is willing to cry on your shoulder as he clings to you when he has suddenly memories of what happened, many years in the gutter deprived him of any kind of affection hell, and even humans touch, so he CRAVES your touch, he wants your touch, your hugs, anything that will give him any kind of comfort. When he hugs you he can smell your scent, he loves the way your fingers feel between his hair (IF HE HAD HIS HAIR B4), how warm you feel, how soft and pliant you are, the way you make his heartbeat quicker than normal, the way you make him feel special and important. He can't explain the feelings he has in his heart whenever you do, but deep inside him there is a fear that it will change someday, he is scared that someday your view of him will change and you will realize that he is nothing more than a monster.

Saejima is also scared that you might see him as a rude individual plus his resting bitch face doesn't help either yet if you manage to see through him and see that he's just being honest and straightforwards and he's also, in fact, a soft man at heart, he is really just a traumatized guy who needs all the support he needs, you would just leave him in the dust wouldn't you?
