story type: one shot
This one was a rush one. My brain just whipped this up, and I couldn't stop writing it. Also, I don't know what direction this was actually going, so I hope it turned out fine.

You watch Lou leave your side when she finds out about the revenge Debbie is plotting towards her ex-lover, Becker.
You watch them argue. You watch Lou being frustrated and unsure about the revenge plot. You watch your lover – actually more on pursuer be worried about her crush or according to her ex-crush – this right here is the main reason why you haven't accepted her being your girlfriend.

"Hey, Y/N. Are you okay?" Lou playfully shoved your shoulders as she sits beside you. She noticed how gloomy you looked and wanted to cheer you up. "Yeah. I'm just tired. I'll go to bed. Goodnight, Lou." You gave her a weak smile and walked off towards your room. Her gaze just follows your movements.
"Why don't you talk to her about it, Y/N?" Tammy comforted you as she caught you silently sobbing. "I don't know what to say, Tam. I know they are partner in crime, and I have no right to be jealous because I haven't accepted her yet, and I can't accept her because of how she is now. I know I sound selfish, but I have been hurt before, and I don't want to go through all that again." You cry more.
But every time you hurt me, the less that I cry

Baby, we don't stand a chance, it's sad, but it's true
"Could you stop avoiding me?!" Lou snatched your arm to make you stop walking. You stopped walking but didn't face her. "How many times do I have to tell you? Debbie is my best friend and I'm worried about her." She let your arm go. "Best friends? I'm 100% sure best friends don't look at each other like how you look at her, Lou. I'm not an idiot. I know how people look in love." You face her this time.
"You know what? Believe what you want to believe. Talk to me when you can trust my words." Lou said before leaving you standing in the hallway. "Action speaks louder, Lou." You whisper, breaking your heart.

They got all the jewelry and successfully framed Becker. They are all gathered in the loft, drinking champagne and talking about the mission. When Tammy pointed out you're missing. Lou furrowed her eyebrows and looked for you around the loft. Finally, she had the brains to check your room.
It was empty. All of your belongings were gone. There was only a note on your bed.
Dear Lou,
Congratulations to the successful mission. I want you to know that I love you and I'm setting you free. Even though we weren't officially together. You mean so much to me, and it pains me to leave you, but you deserve someone better. Don't worry. I'm not taking this to heart as I'm already used to it.
I'm sorry that I'm too good at goodbyes.

On March 1st 1979 Scots voted in favour of Devolution, but failed to reach the required 40% of the population in favour of implementing it - due to 36% of the electorate not voting.
THE PLOT.
The introduction of devolution legislation in 1976 was largely the product of nationalist pressures on the Government. James Callaghan's Labour government had a majority of only three after the 1974 (October) election and by 1977 had no majority at all after a series of by-election defeats. The government was therefore vulnerable to pressures from the Scottish National Party and Plaid Cymru, who between them won 14 seats at the election (SNP 11, Plaid Cymru 3). The Kilbrandon commission had reported in 1974, recommending the establishment of a Scottish parliament and endorsing the principle of devolution.
A combined Scotland and Wales Bill was introduced in November 1976. It gained a second reading only after referendums in both Scotland and Wales had been conceded. The Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, Alick Buchanan-Smith, and one of his front benchers, Malcolm Rifkind, resigned their posts when the Shadow Cabinet decided to oppose its second reading. On the first day of committee 350 amendments were put down. Michael Foot, (then Lord President and Cabinet Minister responsible for the devolution bill) was reluctant to impose a guillotine. After nearly 100 hours of debate only three and a half clauses of the bill had been considered. A guillotine motion was tabled but defeated in February 1977. The Bill was withdrawn.
In November 1977 separate Bills for Scotland and Wales were introduced, with support from the Liberals. This reduced opposition from those who had previously opposed the combined Bill on the grounds that the Welsh did not really want devolution. This time the guillotine motion was won.
As the committee stage was nearing its end, it scrutinised an amendment from Labour backbencher George Cunningham. It required the Secretary of State to lay before Parliament an order repealing the Act unless at least 40% of the eligible electorate voted "yes". The amendment was strongly opposed by the Government, but they lost the vote by 166 votes to 151.
In the referendum, on 1st March 1979, Scotland voted in favour of devolution by 52% to 48% - but only 32.9% of the electorate had joined the majority. In Wales the vote was against devolution, by 80% to 20%. The Acts were repealed the next month.
The Government was not helped by the extent of internal dissent within the Labour party. There was an active Labour 'Vote No' campaign in Scotland, of which Brian Wilson was Chairman, and Robin Cook a Vice-Chairman together with Tam Dalyell.
In Wales, Neil Kinnock was among those who campaigned for a "no" vote. During the last few days of the campaign in Wales, the pro-devolution Labour party -TUC group argued that a "No" vote would be a vote for the Tories, and a vote against the Government. This was a gamble that did not pay off; the scale of the "No" victory meant that those who had campaigned against the government could feel vindicated.
A motion of no confidence in the government was tabled by the Conservatives and supported by the SNP, the Liberals and eight Ulster Unionists. This motion was carried by one vote on 28th March 1979. The next day Callaghan announced that Parliament would be dissolved.

But, we Scots are known the world over for this saying. Try, try and try again we did and won our parliament. We did and we put the party in powder who would take us to freedom. We will never give up our fight to be an Independent country once more.

i die a little inside when I hear the broadway version of bmc, not because i hate it (bc i think ppl hate on it WAY too much), but because there are so many good little changes
like during ‘the play’
christine sings jeremy’s name the way he sings christines name throughout the whole duration of the musical :’) it’s so cute, but its also so heartbreaking
not to mention the funny things jason tams version of the squip does, for example during ‘do you wanna hang?’
when he says “you’re welcome~” to jeremy it sounds like he’s stoned, it’s awesome. (his voice reminds me of chad from lordminion777/wade barnes′s GTA roleplay on TSRP lolol)
along with tiffany manns version of jenna rolan, she seems a little less aloof than the og and also a bit more silly/joking, plus her riffing in pitiful children?? so freaking awesome
not to mention the addition of jason sweettooth williams to the cast from joe iconis family was amazing for me
and i LOVE britton smith as jake, he portrays him a little more sweeter than the two river version (which i love just as much) and theres a little more give to his character
which brings up how, though I love the original menacing version of ‘upgrade’, i love mutual distraught realization of change among the student body leading into ‘loser geek whatever’
and that version of ‘upgrade’ and the whole song ‘loser, geek, whatever’ was all underlyingly there in the original verison when jeremy pauses to answer (or even fully acknowledge) michael being excited for him before making a decision on making the deal/taking the upgrade, in the lines,
“and i wasn’t sure before, but now i wanna go all the way and more”
“tried to be genuine and true but now it’s time for something new”
“really it doesn’t matter how, i’m getting the upgrade right now!”

Herne the Hunter is a spirit said to haunt the British countryside. He is known to bear antlers, and is often associated with other horned gods and gods of the hunt and the wild such as Cernunnos, Pan, the Green Man, etc. though these aren’t all the same figure necessarily. The Great Rite is a traditional Wiccan ceremony. Writer Starhawk on The Horned God:
“The Horned God is difficult to understand because he does not fit into any of the expected stereotypes, neither those of the ‘macho’ male nor the reverse-images of those who deliberately seek effeminacy. He is gentle, tender, and comforting, but he is also the Hunter. He is the Dying God—but his death is always in service of the life force. He is untamed sexuality—but sexuality as a deep, holy, connecting power. He is the power of feeling, and the image of what men could be if they were liberated from the constraints of patriarchal culture.”

Beltaine is a similar celebration to Calan Mai. The fires occur on the night before, traditionally as protection for cattle, crops, and people. Rituals involved people leaping over the fires, and driving cattle between the bonfires.

Tamlin and Feyre’s last night together. This song was inspired by Beauty and the Beast, and includes audio from Jean Cocteau’s 1946 film La Belle et La Bête.
18. Flight by Tanya Tagaq
The next song on the album this comes from, Animism, is “Fight.” And though Tamlin does fight to the last, as evidenced by Feyre when she returns to the Manor, I imagined this song as representing Tamlin as prey that has evaded his predator for over 500 years—but who finally gets caught.

BUNUN TERSİNİ İDDİA EDECEK VE MANTIKLI BİR CEVAP VEREBİLECEK VARMI.?
Mısır tam 362 yıl Osmanlı hakimiyeti altında kaldı.
O Mısır'ın en modern ve en iyi haritalarını Osmanlı değil, Napolyon Mısır'a sefer yapınca onun emri ile Fransızlar yaptı.
Dünyanın belki de en başta gelen arkeolojik keşfi olan Firavunun mezarlarını bir İngiliz keşfedip dünyaya tanıttı.
Onu da bir başka İngiliz finanse etti.
Osmanlı bırak keşfetmeyi orada ne var ne yok merak bile etmedi.
Çünkü o Anadolu halkını Araplaştırmakla, cahil bırakmakla meşguldü.
Irak 383 yıl Osmanlı egemenliğinde kaldı. Petrol deposu topraklara sahip olan ve bunun üzerinde yaşayan Osmanlı bunu keşfedemedi.
Etse bile iş işten geçmişti.
Yine Irak'ta Asurbanipal'in kil tabletten oluşan arkeolojik hazine olan kütüphanesini 1876'da Ninova'yı kazan bir İngiliz olan George Smith keşfetti, daha 30 yaşında iken ölen bu adam bu keşfe dair iki ciltlik muhteşem eser bıraktı ve bütün göksel dinlerin Sümer icadı olduğunu ispatladı.
Ürdün 400 yıl Osmanlı egemenliği altında kaldı ama dünyaca ünlü Petra 1812’de maceraperest gezgin İsviçreli Johann Burckhardt tarafından keşfedildi.
Suriye, Ürdün, Irak, Lübnan, Mısır'ı ortalama 400 yıl elinde bulunduran ve birileri tarafından Türk devleti olarak lanse edilen Osmanlı buralarda Türklük adına tek bir iz bile bırakamadı.
Çünkü Osmanlının temel politikası Araplaştırma üzerine kurulu idi.
Osmanlı Arap kültürünün hizmetçisi idi, yani Arapçı idi.
Eğer fırsat bulsaydı Türkçeyi bile yasaklayacaktı.
Osmanlının Anadolu'dan topladığı gariban Türk çocukları burada 400 yıl bedelsiz, hiç bir fayda elde etmeden sadece boş yere bekçilik yaptı.
Bir tarihçi der ki:
Bizim Hatay'dan itibaren düz bir hat ile ta Yemen'e kadarki hat resmen Türk mezarlığı gibiydi.
O kadar Türk çocuğu öldü oralarda.
Zayıf düştüğü andan itibaren kendisine bekçilik yaptığı yerel halklar tarafından kalbinden hançerlendi. Yani 400 yıl yaptığı bekçilikle kaldı.
Şu an oralardaki insanlar kendilerine bekçilik yapan bu halktan nefret ediyor. Onu işgalci görüyor.
