What is Gali's backstory? Like was she created by draxum along with the rest of the turtles or does she have something else going for her :0
HEHEHEEHHEH GALILEO MY BELOVED!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She was mutated about 5 years before Leo and the rest of them were. Unlike the other turtles, she was originally a human!
Draxum, seeing humans as the ultimate threat, wanted to take on, mutate it to be stronger, and make if kill the rest of the human race. Unfortunately, his plan didn't work very well because, while Gali is very strong, the mutation caused her a lot of pain. When she recovered, she wasn't as strong or fast as she previously was, and while she built up her strength again by becoming Big Mama's assistant (and she fought in the Nexus occassionally), she still faces a daily battle against chronic pain.
As a human, she was very good in sports (she played volleyball for her school), but her social and home life were very rough. Draxum found her sneaing out and promised her that she'd never have to go back to her house, and she'd get stronger, if she went with him.
After a brief attempt at a fight, Gali realized she wasn't going to win and realized that anything this weird Goatman (or eccentric cosplayer) could offer her wouldn't be worse than going back to her house. When she realized what was going to happen to her, she was knocked out before she could fight.
The mutation process was rough and nearly killed her. A lot of her memories, as well as her previous sense of self, were completely destroyed. She couldn't remember her name, not most of her human life. Draxum started to address her as a boy, but when he realized she couldn't fight like he'd hoped, he stopped referring to her altogether.
Big Mama caught wind of Draxum's experiment and showed interest. Without any real use for Gali, Draxum solder her off to Big Mama. BM, under the impression Galileo was a guy, gave her the name Leonardo, after one of Lou Jitsu's favorite human historical figures. When Gali expressed discontent with that name, and with being referred to as masculine, BM was open to letting her choose her own name. Without any other ideas, BM vaguely recalled Lou Jitsu talking about another old human named "Galileo", so BM suggested that name and it stuck.
When Galileo first saw Leo, she assumed he was also previously human, but realized that if he really was that young, he would have died, so she assumed he was created by a different method. She later asked BM and Draxum about it, which they gave her a real answer. They also breifly mentioned the 3 turtles that were lost (but Draxum assumed they all died).
Another thing along the track of Gali remembering only bits of her human life: she does retain a bit of her empathy. That's why she didn't fight in the Nexus for very long. She also teaches Leo to have empathy, that he doesn't have to kill everyone he fights. (If it wasn't for Gali, he would be much more villain-like).
Also, Gali wasn't sure how to feel about Leo for a long time. She was kind to him, but he often annoyed her, but she grew to love him anyways.
When Galileo first meets Leo, when Leo is about 2 or 3 (he was only a year or two old when mutated, so it's still pretty soon after his mutation), and Gali is around 18-19 ish.
Currently, in FH, Leo is 14 and Gali is 30 ish
Because of Gali's mutation method, she doesn't physically change compared to how big the others end up growing.

Running Out of Time
One shot/ficlet based off @trubblegumm's ROTTMNT Bloodbath AU (and when I say 'based off' I mean I took his fantastic Running Out of Time animatic and ran with it)
TW for death, mild to moderate gore, kidnapping
Make no mistake.
Leo fully understood that the swing of that ōdachi he'd grabbed from Mikey's bag was going to kill.
He just wasn't prepared for it slice through the yōkai's skin like it was paper. And maybe he hadn't fully processed that he was planning on killing them in the first place.
He wasn't panicking.
He wasn't panicking.
But the blood slicking his hands was on his face now, too (because he'd put it there, he'd nearly dropped the sword and he'd tried not to gag because it reminded him of things he didn't want to be thinking about but that was fine, his dad wasn't like that anymore, that was a mistake when he was kid, it was... fine), and Mikey had hooked an arm through his and-
"Am I..."
"Hey, Leo, c'mon, we've got to go, we can't be here-"
"Am I running out of time?"
"Time for what," Mikey hissed, pulling harder until Leo started following behind, stumbling after the box turtle and trying (desperately) not to look at the corpse behind them.
Time for them. He was- Mikey had taken that family photo, there was a photo of them all, out there, Spirit knows where, and his father (Splinter, Splinter was going to-) was going to see it and Leo had promised he was going to bring back his brothers but, but, but-
Mikey was with Draxum (the one who had mutated his dad. The one who had created him. A weapon. The guy who was going to use him and his brothers—and he did have brothers now, he found them—to destroy humanity, or warp it or, or, or any number of terrible things and-).
Donnie was with Big Mama (and wasn't that just crazy? The jorōgumo Splinter had loved until she'd thrown him into a pit of death where he had to fight for his survival day in and day out—she was lucky he could fight—until she was careless enough to lose him to another yōkai who only wanted him for his DNA), and Raph-
Raph was with the Foot. The clan he'd grown up hearing horific stories about—the Shredder and Karai, locked away in another dimesion, doomed to fight one another to the end of time (and if he was right, and he was usually right when it came to things like this, even his father would admit he had a good tactical mind, Raph was going to be the one wearing the Dark Armour if and when the Foot managed to retrieve all the pieces. Splinter guarded the helmet he carried with everything he had. He'd raised Leo to know that it was more important than his life, if that's what it came down to), of the Kraang locked away on yet another plane of existence, original crafters of the Kuroi Yōroi and world-destroyers.
Leo was running on borrowed time. Because once Splinter found out who had taken in Leo's brothers (because Leo doubted he would ever claim them as his sons, not after he learned the truth), there was no way Leo would be allowed to interact with them again. Three of his father's greatest tormentors.
"For us," he nearly hissed at Mikey, who just grit his teeth and sprinted down the winding corridor, "for this."
"We've got to go, Leo- we have to leave, Draxum's looking for me and Donnie says Big Mama is doing the same-"
"I know, I know," Leo growled. "I know, there's no way they're not, just- hurry. We need-"
"To find Donnie and Raph, yeah."
Donnie was never going to know why Raph decided to dip his hands in the half-congealed blood pooled around the yōkai's body.
Raph rose to his feet, eyes transfixed on his hands. "Whatever you're doing," he rasped, gaze flicking from Donnie's face to obvious sword wound across the yōkai's front, "do it faster."
"I'm upping the tempo as much as I can, oh dear estranged brother," Donnie turned away from the gruesome sight, opening the computer on his wristband.
"We have to find them before someone else does. Do you think Leo did this...?"
"What else does it look like, Raph?" He exhaled heavily through his nose, trying not to breath in the stench of bodily waste the corpse was exuding. "I know you haven't seen him fight, but he's dangerous. I don't know what this guy did to deserve this, though."
Raph ground his teeth loud enough for Donnie to wince. "Faster, please."
"I'm trying!"
Baron Draxum made a point not to engage in Big Mama's affairs.
Baron Draxum made a point not to engage in the Foot's affairs.
Right up until a photo of Rapheal and Donetello showed up on Big Mama's phone after half a week of nothing following the group photo Michealango had sent to the Baron.
Three of the kappa had been identified—Michealangelo, one of the two left behind when Lou Jitsu had fled the Baron's laborartory, Rapheal, one of the two the movie star-turned-Battle Nexus Champion had taken with him, and Donatello, the one he'd given to Big Mama to repay his debt to her, for stealing her Champion in the first place.
Which left the one in blue.
"His name is Donatello, he's my son, he's fourteen," Big Mama hissed at the Lieutenant and Brute standing in front of her, clicking her pincers nervously, "I know he was with you, I have a photo, right here-" the cloaking brooch she had hidden in her cravat activated, and her frankly gigantic form shrank down to the slightly less threatening form of a human female, brandishing her phone in the two men's faces, "look, that big red one, he's yours, yes?"
The Lieutenant sighed, running a hand down his face. "He wasn't with us- Raphie ran off a few days ago, we haven't seen him since-"
"I need a good cup of coffee," the Foot Brute standing behind him grumbled, and Draxum would have found it funnier if he hadn't been busy doing something other than chattering and throwing around baseless accusations.
If he hadn't flipped to the wrong (right?) page of the book he was pouring over.
(Which left the one in blue).
The blue ribbon he'd marked the page with was what had originally caught his attention.
Then, the Hamato clan symbol directly next to it. The mythic clan that had trapped the Shredder in a prison dimension not dissimilar to the one the Kraang were held in, the one he had discovered Lou Jitsu—Hamato Yoshi, really—had belonged to just prior to his kidnapping (rescuing...? The warrior had seemed to come along willingly enough), the one with the mystic abilities that died out amongst humankind centuries ago and yet somehow persisted in this nearly-nothing clan living out of Japan in the second millenia.
The blue ribbon.
(Which left the one in blue).
He pulled his own phone out of his pocket.
(Which left the one in blue).
The blue ribbon shone under the lighting of Big Mama's office.
Donatello. Michealangelo. Rapheal.
And the one in blue.
One of the two Yoshi had managed to carry out the lab with him.
The only one that hadn't resurfaced afterwards.
"Big Mama-"
Which left the one in blue.
Raised by an assassin with a vendetta. And now with access to each of their weak spots.

Blaidd Cosplay project I worked on during May 2022
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elden Ring was the hype, I wanted to be a good turtle. I originally wanted to get this cosplay ready by Otakuthon 2022, but I never did finish it. I do want to finish this cosplay one day!
Now let ramble about my progress on it! :readmore:
Tumblr media
When it comes to video game cosplay, I take the easier route and rip models from the game, then modify them for cosplay. I 3D modelled a few Kamen Rider suits before and all that was a pain in general. For my sanity's sake, I plan to model as little as possible for future cosplays.
Lucky, the in-game model was well made, so I didn't have to make a lot of modifications. I had to separate some pieces, subdivide and give it some volume.
The head was given a lot of holes, so it would be lighter to wear. I had to separate the teeth and the gums because I will paint them individually.
I let my 3D printer work. Meanwhile....
Tumblr media
Eyeballs! Molded with moldable plastic pellets. The iris part of the eye hollows inwards for a bit of that 3D look. The whole thing then got covered in 2-part epoxy to fill the cavity and make the eye shiny.
There's usually a few steps involved when it comes to painting. That is priming and then taking your time to paint something with the medium of your choice. Well, I skipped all that and decided to draw on the eye with sharpie and markers. Results were... satisfactory enough.
Tumblr media
Time to work on the gummy teethies! I've been saving up for years on an airbrush set and I got really excited to try them for the first time.
FDM 3D prints don't come out perfect usually, so I brushed some XTC-3D (fancier 2-part epoxy) on them, and let it cure first.
With a bit of filler primer and airbrushing magic...
Tumblr media
Teeth! Dentists in the Lands Between will make a KILLING if they ever move there.
Pretty happy with the process! I didn't bother to shade the gums because we won't see a lot of that anyway.
Tumblr media
Did I ever tell you sewing is my least favorite part of cosplay? My specialty is more on props and armor. This image should've been flipped upside-down!
I tried to sew gloves using a free-to-use pattern I found on the internet (forgot where I got them). First one was too tight, second on was better, but still feel weird to wear. I will get these right one day!!
Tumblr media
I bought some FUR! I shopped for a WHOLE hour at the fabric store for the right faux fur, and none of them felt like a match to Blaidd's fur. His fur was darker (than the fur in the picture, left side), with a hint of blue.
I tried to dye the fur a little bit to darken it, but not too much because I didn't want the white part of the fur to turn too dark. I used a dye for synthetic fibers. Right side of the image the the fur after soaking in hot dye solution for a few minutes (still wet)
Results? I there was only a subtle difference between then non-dyed and dyed furs! I either didn't let it bathe in the solution long enough, or I did not put enough dye in the solution.
ANYWAY I decided to just used the furs as is and airbrush the details at the end.
Tumblr media
Now for the cloak? I was planning on tying some crochet threads together, then separate the ends with a fur brush, resulting in some fluffy ends the add on to the cape.
However, after re-examining Blaidd's cloak, I'm considering on scrapping this process because I feel like there's better materials to give out the look I want.
Tumblr media
After assembling the mouth parts/eyes/nose, adding the lips with black moldable plastic and adding the hinge (to make the mouth movable), it's off to furring the head!
With the help of masking tape and sharpie, I went to pattern the fur. I then cut the appropriate shapes to sew.
I knew I had to cut the fabrics a bit bigger to make things fit and all, so I did that. My mistake? I realized after finishing the snout part, that I've cut the shapes TOO BIG! It did not fit the print!
So that's another thing I have to redo. Sewing is my passion (sarcasm).
This concludes part 1 of my Blaidd cosplay journal. Will there be a part 2? I don't know. It started snowing a few days ago and Winter is generally not a good time for cosplay-making. I'll have to see about this when Spring/Summer comes!

DISCLAIMER: I have only watched one Michael Myers movie so I will 100% get some things wrong.
Additionally, this is gonna be a little gift for my aros- this can be read both romantically and platonically.
Alright so I originally planned to do all 4 bros into a post, then 2 into two separate posts, to now all individual ones- my brain just can't handle it anymore- my attention span is just killing me.
Tw: murder, blood, details of the corpse, anxiety, degradation

Phone Call of Stupidity
(Leo is Ghostface)
You stare out the window, observing the sky right after the sunset. It was dim, but still enough light for you to see well. You were achingly bored. Not knowing what to do to satiate your boredom.
You then hear your phone ring, the ringtone repeating like a merry-go-round. The caller's address is labelled your friend's name, so you quickly answer.
"Hello?" You inquire, wondering what they would want to chat about. You then hear some heavy breathing from the other line, almost sounding delighted. A deep chuckle comes from the caller, a voice seemingly masculine.
"Hey, Y/n~ Expected someone else to call, hm?" The person's voice is smooth yet venomous, like a poison one drinks, only to go dormant hours later. But that doesn't matter, the bewilderment and consternation of this enigmatic person spiked despair in your heart. How does he know your name? How come he acted like something bad happened to your friend?
You summon the courage to question, "What? What do you mean?" You stare outside, waiting for someone to jump in front of your window.
"What do I mean? Oh, well, maybe the fact I'm threatening you right this very moment." His tone suddenly grows harsh, a hint of irritation swimming through his words. You hear a small bang of metal, loud and clear in the background "Now if you disobey my commands or try to hang up, I will kill your friend."
You freeze, eyes widening. Surely this is a prank, right? He wouldn't possibly dare to kill your friend. But...What if he's serious? Maybe you shouldn't risk it. "W-What do you need me to do?" Your breaths turned shaky, terror clawing your body.
"Hm~ You're not so stupid after all. Now, I want you to delete all your contacts, and that includes deleting any social media." Your fingers quiver as you delete the applications and names of your phone. Just focus on completing tasks. Nothing else matters.
"Ok, I'm done." Your eyes dart around the room anxiously, the shadows seeming to grow closer every second. The room seems to be darker, and more petrifying as the moon rises; your feelings overwhelm your ability to think rationally. How much longer of this torture?
He coos before snarking a laugh, "Aww, is poor little you desperate to save their friend? How humiliating. Exposing your vulnerabilities right in front of a killer." He's a true psychopath, devoid of any empathy. You're a pitiful mouse trying to nibble on some food during the bitter winter, yet he, the cat, hunts you every moment of the day.
"What else?" You tried to mask what little dignity you have left, tone more assertive.
"I want you to grab either a blanket or a few large towels; lay them on the floor of your bedroom." You carefully step amongst the floor, fearful of producing even a single whisper. You pull a blanket down onto the floor, spreading it out evenly.
After hesitating for a small while, you timorously question, "Why do you need me to do this?"
There's a momentary pause before he seethes, "Don't ask stupid questions."
Then within mere seconds, you hear the front door being banged repeatedly, the pounding growing more aggressive with each hit. You freeze, standing still in terror. Did you enrage him? Will you cease to see out the window again? But as soon as it started, the slamming halts in a blink of an eye.
Disoriented, you agonizingly inch over to the door, poking your head out the sliver of space. You flip your head around in multiple directions, observing the area for intruders or threats. No one. You walk out of your room, daring to risk being killed.
You cautiously peer through rooms, feeling at ease when no one seems to have intruded on your abode. But of course, that doesn’t mean they can’t be outside. So you head back towards your bedroom, eager to hide in your safe space.
“Hey, I’ve finally arrived.” An arm is wrapped around your neck, a hand weighing down on your shoulder. A blade points to your mid-back, and the pressure of the sharpened metal feels through your clothing. No, no, why was he here? Why is this psychopath inside your home? What happened to your friend?
You’re unable to form any words, lips quivering in dread. He laughs, clearly awfully amused by your horror. “So scared, poor little you, trembling, wondering if you’ll survive my knife.” His comment flashes a hot boil within your body, irking you. As much as you're frozen with fear, he is in no place to be making fun of you. Despite knowing your situation, you can't help but want to take a chance and try to escape.
Since you can't move your upper body, you fling your leg backwards, kicking him in the shin with your heel. But to your dismay, it only causes him to bend his knee; his arms are still strong. "Wow, you're bold: trying to save yourself at the hands of a killer who inevitably has you doomed." He chuckles a little, before hissing in pain, signalling your attack did some damage.
"I can't let myself die so easily, that would be disgraceful."
It's true. You can't be killed now, not without knowing where your friend is and how they are. You can't be a weakling, even if you're about to collapse from anxiety. You have to fight back, you never know the small chance of a miracle.
"Disgraceful? Let me guess, you want to know what happened to your friend." His tone is playful, yet your intuition tells you that there's a dark double meaning under it. No matter, you need to dig out the information.
"Yeah. Are you willing to tell me?"
"Tell you? Why, I'll show you." He lifts the knife slightly; still a threat, but enough to give you some room. He drags you with him, stepping into the bedroom with his back turned to the doorway as he opens it. As you enter the space, you're hit with a strikingly strong scent: the odour of iron, metallic perhaps unpleasant to many. Blood. The smell of blood is near.
"When I turn us around, don't try to escape alright? I have the knife, along with the experience of the killing of tens, if not hundreds, before you." He rotates your bodies, revealing a sight you wish to never witness.
A body lays on the blanket you put out on the floor earlier: multiple stab wounds lace throughout the back, a ruby liquid soaking the person's clothing. There are tears all over where the knife pierced their skin. Their fingernails and hands are caked in a similar vermillion liquid, an effect of holding the wound when they died. The corpse lays in a position where you can't identify the face. But you know. You know exactly who the victim is. It's your beloved friend.
In shock, a single tear rolls down your cheek, uncomfortably running down your chin. "No...I- I- you said if I helped you, you wouldn't kill them!" You can't bring yourself to do anything but stand there and stare at the body, you can't face death in an aware fashion.
"No, I was threatening to kill your friend if you didn't follow my orders. I never said I wouldn't kill them; you just managed to stall time before I did." What wrong did you do to receive such terrible, terrible fortunes? No one should ever see their friend's murdered corpse right in front of them, especially if the killer is in the same room.
"Little mouse, little mouse, can't you see what wrong you've done to yourself? Spending time with that vermin when you should have been with me." He steps beside you, turning his masked face. The mask is similar to that of a famous painting of a young man screaming in terror. Do you know this man? Surely not, but you can't tell, not with that masked face of his.
"What do you mean?" Why is he speaking as if he knows you? That the reason he killed was out of envy?
He laughs manically, sounds resonating off the walls. "I mean that, if I were a human, you would spend time with me more. I would be your best friend, not them." He clutches his knife, expressing his fury and jealousy. At first, you assumed he killed for comical reasons, but now that you hear him speak, he's for sure doing it out of rage. Not human...It possibly couldn't be him, right?
"Leo...?"
"As of now I am Ghostface, but yes, I am Leo." He lifts his mask, and your eyes widen at the sight of red crescents.
What a stupid little mouse you were, deciding to scout for some food, only to be lured right into the cat's claws.

I can't even explain the struggle of trying to write this. I literally don't know shit about Slashers except for a select few-
Anyway, as I said, this went from being all 4 into a post to 2 for two separate posts, to now individual ones. I apologize for this inconvenience but I don't want to stagger a request any longer.
Next is Mikey btw-

I forget I can just ramble and rant my thoughts!
I try to focus on sharing just my art but I also do writing and try to have a bit of a critical mind when it comes to media I consume.
Now that it has been a few months since I watched all of TMNT 12 I do have some thoughts and opinions and kind of want to just ramble about it before I forget, in an informal manner.
I at first really liked it, it was the second TMNT show I watched after Rise, now that I've been watching the 87 and 03 shows my opinions on 12 did change just a bit but I still do like it!
Literally all the turtles are my son's now. Especially Leonardo (he's blue coded so-). I just think they're so cute and neat!!!
I'm going to put thoughts to spoiler stuff of 12 so if you plan to watch the show then don't click beyond this point!
🐢💙🐢♥️🐢🧡🐢💜
So in the last season of TMNT 12 it kind of feels like all the scrapped ideas or random plots that couldn't be fit into the prior seasons were put in this one? I really like the new op it gives of Cowboy Bebop vibes. The op song change is really nice to because I never really looked the tmnt 12 op song before.
However, the plots feel all over the place? There's a mini ark where they're jumping through time meeting Halloween monsters and then another ark where Mikey defeats Satan? Then we get another really tiring ark that's this implied alternate madmax fury road parody that is honestly so depressing? Donnie is just dead.
Which btw, the show likes killing ppl off for dramatic effect. They killed Master Splinter three times and had Mikey and Donnie get scattered to atoms on two separate occasions. I should also mention Leo was in a coma for 3 months with no IV or anything and he woke up relatively fine.
Anyways, going into the last season and stuff leading up to it... They kind of ended with the 87 turtles and the 12 boys finding new passion and inspiration from teaching the 87 boys. I didn't really vibe with it because it just made the 87s the butt of the joke and made them out to be incompetent silly little guys.
They ARE silly little guys but the thing is they're not incompetent. The 87 boys have done some insanely incredible things even when unarmed. Especially when unarmed. I actually think the angle of finding a new way to help people as a means to end the series on an inspired note is fine, the 87 boys even carried on the will and told Bebop and Rocksteady they can be more than Shredder's mutant henchmen. It is very cute and wholesome. I just think they could have maybe done it differently?
Why not set up for them to teach Chi arts? The turtles of 87 don't have any mystical abilities and it would have been interesting to do a set up like that? There are ways to write the finale without just dumping on the original source.
Focusing back on the ending of 12, we also leave on a seriously alarming note. It's just a big mixed bag. After Master Splinter went to run on the hamster wheel in the sky, Leonardo was handed the reigns of the family. He was told "You're the teacher now Leonardo. You're the father. Look after your brothers" and Splinter then willingly walked into his own death. I think the writers maybe thought this was amazing and inspirational or something but I found it incredibly messed up? We start tmnt 12 on all 4 boys birthday. Meaning Splinter himself considers them all to be the same age. And since the series was running they haven't on screen celebrated a birthday and from the implied weather changes most of the seasons 1-4 seem to take place over just a year??? We don't get a definitive timeline (or I'm a bad audience and didn't notice).
So one can only assume Master Splinter was telling his...15 year old son to be the father to his other 15 year old children.
Why do I bring this up at all? After Leonardo takes over the family and he KILLS shredder they go into this rushed cult demon resurrection arc that culminates in the classic dead walk the earth and Mikey defeats Satan. In this arc we meet a ghost splinter who does not even go to see his kids, he just helps Casey and April. But throughout and the lead up to this we have moments of Leo having conversations with what we can perceive as Sensei's ghost in the dojo.
But the climax of the arc cements splinters ghost has not once visited his son's.
So Leonardo is quite literally having full on conversations, in the dojo for his brothers to hear, with a hallucination of his dead dad. He's coping this way. His family does nothing about this.
Tmnt 2012 has the worst Splinter. He ignored his son's and chose favorites. He told Leonardo to die (season 1 finale). He calls Mikey dumb and insights the others to do it too. He told Raph his anger makes him exactly like Shredder and never elaborates or teaches him how to better work through his issues. And he straight up calls Donnie useless.
None of that is even an exaggeration. Adding context just makes it worse.
Here's a list:
Do you know the turtles are the equivalent of helicopter raised homeschool boys? They've never stepped foot outside of the lair except at the start of ep 1.
They learn ALL of their lessons from old shows and cartoons. The show writers even sometimes use the cartoons to set up the theme of the episodes!
When Leonardo rescues Mikey he pats him on the head to comfort him.
Literally almost all of their ninja weapons have hidden weapons. I love it I wish I saw more of them using them.
Michelangelo is the family chef because somehow none of the rest have any life skills. Not even Splinter (explains so much).
They all have such cute shape language. I love bean pole Donnie, blocky buff Raph, perfect pear Leo, and round freckled Mikey.
They also now have unique eye colors. I love their eyes. Donnie with his big beautiful brown eyes (sometimes they look red). Raph with his acid green stare into your soul eyes, they look like they would glow like mako eyes in ff7. Mikey with bright blue eyes all big and round. And then Leo with the cunning dark blue eyes!
I just want to pinch their cheeks and kiss their foreheads and give them hugs.
Also, Leo is so affectionate to kids and his brothers??? My heart??? Couldn't take it??? He just randomly hugs them?? He had a tea party??? He wore a pink feather boa? The way he just immediately held baby Miwa??? Too good. Too good. He's such a good big bro.
Raph is also such a soft guy. Like yes he's a Butthead that beats up his brothers and takes every single violent urge out on Leo when he's even minorly inconvenienced but he does learn to do better. He helps Leo a lot and he even is there for the others a lot too.
Raphael also does art and seems to like fine arts.
Raph, like Leo, is a resident baby man. He loved tiny helpless creatures. He had a pet turtle he loved with his entire being and then later on adopted a space alien baby turtle that he also loved with his entire being.
I love Donnie in this, his cute little tooth gap, his gentle demeanor, the fact he'd rather be in the lab than training. I feel bad for him tho cause he clearly wants Splinter and Leo's approval with his inventions and efforts but very rarely gets it (Leo is the only one to really praise him and get what he does). He's also a good team player but he has so much stress and no confidence.
Donnie needs a big ol hug.
Mikey is so cute. But he is so weird. Why did they write girly pop collecting underwear. Why did they have him cannibalize a mutant pizza man? They do the most random things with Mikey. I like that he avidly tries cheering ppl up. He tries so hard for his bros. He's just a sweet little guy. I wish they did more with the baby bro.
Mikey should have kept his lightning powers.
They fight a lot but all the brothers love each other. I think they're just stressed and cooped up too much.
I like drama tho it's juicy when they argue.
I read on the wiki that Donnie is supposed to be canon OCD and Mikey canon ADHD and it makes so much sense in the show.
I really like all their voices. I miss Leo's first voice he was so dorky and sweet. The new voice is all sad and serious. Raph sounds perfect. I like Donnie's voice but instead of him always yelling why not have him do the low angry science rant because that's a good time. I like Mikey's voice he sounds like a high pitched beast boy.
But despite the occasionally baffling writing choices of the show I still like it. It's entertaining in the same way as a telenovela or kdrama. They literally have a plot where one of the turtles falls in love with his secret half sister. Something I've seen in telenovelas and kdramas.
2012 tmnt makes a great dogblooded drama.
I think the CGI art can get pretty bad at times but other times it looks great. The music is pretty good and I really like the voice cast. I actually totally see why so many people like this show but I definitely don't think it's the best one. From what I've seen thus far, I think the 2003 TMNT show might actually be a masterpiece. Better than Avatar the Last Airbender levels of masterpiece (not a competition just giving an example of another show I find monumental).
That's it, that's the rant, thanks for reading!
Btw if any one has any good 12 fic recs pls hand them over. I need 12 hurt comfort, or fem Leo, or transfem Leo, or anything introspective, or just anything with a fun plot. Pls I'm dying here send fics.
Thank you :)

We know about how Ghost would react to your SSDF au but what about your original iteration tmnt: solar flare?
Idk if I should answer this since I have barely even TALKED about tmnt: solar glare on this blog. Let alone actually get the turtles ref sheets made. But on the other hand making Ghost suffer is very fun...
So Im doing it anyways
@bluepeachstudios Im borrowing the sad old man again (he's too much fun not too)
Putting it all under a read more because spoilers for a lot of major plot points in solar flare. If you dont wanna be spoiled dont look
You have been warned :)
The first thing Ghost would think is "How the shell are these kids not dead?" Because the turtles are absolute DANGER MAGNETS
These absolute idiots, on their first night being on the surface:
FOUGHT THE GODDAMN SHREDDER
NEARLY GOT KILLED BY THE SHREDDER
Got sent to the Spirit Realm
Got attacked by angry spirits
Accidentally CURSED themselves by messing with something they were absolutely not supposed to mess with
Barely escaped the Spirit Realm, now fully cursed
Accidently UNLEASHED dozens of angry spirits into New York
And to make matters worse they got discovered followed back home by a HUMAN (April)
That was NIGHT ONE
Ghost and his brothers were lucky, they only fought Mousers and the Purple Dragons on their first night
And it only gets worse
That curse I mentioned, it has pros and cons. The pros being that it can turn the boys into literal shadows, enhance their strength and speed, make them near completely invulnerable to attack, actually let them attack the previously untouchable spirits, (let then turn into giant shadow monsters), etc. The CONS on the other hand is that the curse is slowly KILLING THEM. Draining more and more of their energy, breaking their bodies a little more each time. And the more that the cool shadow abilities are used the faster the effects are, the worse they'll get and the longer they'll last. Yeah. Ghost would absolutely not have a good time with that. (And would most definitely devote as much time as he could to trying to create a cure or at least find a way to lessen the side effects)
Anyways then theres the matter of the Spirits running loose, very strong, very angry vengeful spirits. That cant be knocked out or killed, they have to be banished back to the Spirit Realm. Which is not at all an easy task. (And considering that the boys will at one point spend an entire WEEK fighting those ghostly fucks practically nonstop to the point that they dont even go back to the lair until they are literally about to pass out from sheer exhaustion...yeah not fun. Ghost might have to carry them all back home) And there's also the Shredder and his growing army of goons causing trouble. Point is Ghost is gonna have a REALLY hard time keeping the kids from constantly fighting for their lives against incredibly strong enemies instead of actually being kids. Poor Ghost
The constant stress and fear along is definitely straining the boys' relationships with each other.
Especially between Leo and Raph. The two closest siblings of the family. The ones that said they were twins and stood by that for their entire lives.
And now they're arguing practically all the time. Cant even go one mission without at least one argument. Leo making reckless plans thinking they'll work perfectly fine then panicking when things inevitably go south and Raph getting angry at him for "screwing up" only because Raph is absolutely TERRIFIED. And Ghost trying to be the mediator, but its hard when you have two incredibly stubborn sixteen year old boys at each other's throats. (Ghost is reminded of the many many Raph-Leo fights that his own Raphael and Leonardo used to have. Only somehow, these are worse.) It just escalates and escalates further and further until one night.
When Raph and Leo actually FIGHT each other.
And it ends when Raph full on quits the team and leaves. Leaves Leo alone on that rooftop, in the pouring rain. (Ghost will never forget that shocked, borderline horrified look on Leo's face as the reality and the guilt over what just happened sets in)
Raph doesnt come home.
Ghost thought he just needed time to cool off but he still doesnt come home. It gets to the point that he tracks the red clad turtle down.
Only to find him in the Footclan headquarters.
Raph had joined the Footclan because he was so tired of the fighting, the arguing.
(Obviously Ghost would go over there to try and break Raph out by any means necessary, even when Raph refuses to leave. He didnt want to join his family's biggest enemies but he was angry when he said yes and now he thinks he's in too deep to leave, even despite Ghost's attempts to reason with him)
Which leads to Leo to do something really, really, really stupid. Not saying what because major spoilers but it ends with him willingly offering himself up to be taken to another dimension in exchange for his family being spared the same fate.
What would happen to him there? Ghost doesnt know.
But that swirling white portal, his child being handcuffed and pushed through despite how hard everyone, Ghost included, is begging for this not to happen, no matter how hard he fights against his own restraints he cant free himself, it breaks something inside him.
All he can do is watch helplessly as Leo disappears into a portal, just like he did when he was sixteen himself, presumably to never be seen again.
Leo is gone for an entire month.
An entire of Ghost obsessively working on the portal with Donnie, trying so so hard to get it to work so they can find him. A month of trying to keep the family together and comfort his poor children who are falling apart at the seams. (Donnie doesnt sleep much anymore, trying so incredibly hard to get the portal working, even moreso than Ghost. Mikey teetering on the verge of a breakdown, going out with April and Casey to search for any signs of Leo every single night. Raph is consumed with guilt, it had been HIS fault that this whole mess happened, and now the poor boy is trying desperately to help his family while also trying to defect from the Footclan, which isnt easy.) A month of searching for the people that took Leo away, a month of hoping and praying that Leo was alright.
And then Leo comes home, with a white samurai rabbit in tow (Despite everything, Ghost finds it a little amusing that some things never change, even across dimensions)
He's different now. Quieter, not nearly as excited as he used to be. His arms and legs are completely wrapped up in black wrappings, up to the shoulder and upper thighs respectively. And he refuses to take the wrappings off. (He now has a slight limp on his right side, his brothers dont notice it but Ghost absolutely does.) And most importantly he refuses to talk about what happened when they were separated. Always saying "Its nothing." "I dont wanna talk about it." "There's nothing to talk about." "I'm fine."
Ghost is worried about him, obviously something happened. Something bad enough to turn the silly, dorky, hero-wannabe kid into this quiet, reclusive, guarded boy. Usagi knows as well but just says its not his story to tell.
Ghost tries to talk to him but every time he gets brushed off. (He did manage to figure out it somehow involved the Battle Nexus, from the tiny bits of information Leo shared. Though he highly doubts it was the same Battle Nexus he used to know) All he can do is provide comfort whenever Leo seeks him out, usually late at night and usually the result of a nightmare. (Which have become much much more frequent, only adding to Ghost's worry)
And unfortunately Leo is not the only one going through hell.
Because not long after Leo's return and Raph finally leaving the Footclan, Mikey gets captured. It would be bad enough if it was Shredder or the Krang. But it is so much worse and makes Ghost's blood run cold.
Mikey was captured by the EPF.
Ghost vividly remembers how a similar situation happened to him and his own Michelangelo. (How Mikey was almost dissected in front of him, how his own mid was torn apart for all the world to see. Bishop...)
The family hurriedly breaking into the EPF lab, hoping that they'll find Mikey in time.
They didnt.
Mikey wasnt as lucky as Ghost's Michelangelo.
Bishop, that sick twisted bitch, actually cut Mikey open.
Ghost's worst fear had been realized.
(Ghost never wants to see Mikey's bloody plastron and exposed ribcage ever again for as long as he lives. Watching his frantic heart gradually slow the more blood gushed out.)
And it only gets worse
Because Mikey, in a desperate last ditch effort to try and escape, he somehow activated a part of the curse that no one knew they had.
The ability to transform.
He had turned into a massive DRAGON made entirely of shadows (the only reason they knew it was him was because of the bright orange markings on the shadow dragon's body.)
And the dragon went on a rampage, obliterating the EPF lab including majority of the staff. (Unfortunately Bishop survived, which was a shame) and once the lab was destroyed it attacked New York, trying to tear everything apart in blind fear and panic. (Those terrified screeches will haunt Ghost for the rest of his life.)
It nearly killed them all trying to calm Mikey back down enough to get him home and stitched up. (And then clinging to Ghost like a scared koala for a very long time, not like Ghost can blame him.) And the worst part of this whole Dragon affair? Mikey cant CONTROL IT.
So that means the second his emotions get out of control, here comes the terrified dragon that will lash out at anyone perceived as a threat. (Which is anything that moves.)
And each time Mikey is beating himself up with immense guilt and fear that he will hurt the people he loves.
This is only the tip of the Solar Flare trauma train.
There will be more. (Raph and Donnie are gonna get their's too. So will April, Casey, and Splinter)
Other traumatic/weird events include:
Donnie getting kidnapped by Karai, which leads to April and their parents getting kidnapped. Which leads to April getting thrown off a building and Karai losing her entire arm. April is only 13 in this au btw so oh boy Karai better fucking run because once GHOST hears about that she might lose more than an arm.
Leo gets turned into a cat
Raph and Mikey get kidnapped by clowns
The boys get captured by an alien bounty hunter and taken to a completely different galaxy. Poor Ghost is gonna have an absolute heart attack.
The boys bring home a giant sea monster and keep it as a pet in the sewers. (They name it Jeffrey. Ghost left them alone for five minutes HOW DID THEY DO THIS?!?!)
Both RAPH AND LEO get thrown through the window in the Krang invasion. And Raph ends up in a coma (Leo already had his turn in a coma) Ghost having an absolute heart attack reliving this awful moment TWICE.
April's parents find out about the turtles (and later their paternal grandparents find out when the fam go to stay at their farmhouse)
The turtles are gonna be stuck in a timeloop for an entire month. (The entire month leading up to the Krang Invasion. They went from having a month to prevent it to only having a day and a half. Which is why the invasion happens.) Ghost will never forget that look of pure dread on his kids's faces when they looked up at the blood red sky filled with krangships. This is exactly what he didnt want to happen, his kids having to grow up too fast and get into problems far too big for them.
Also bonus: the turtles first meet Casey by literally RUNNING HIM OVER. The kids call Ghost frantically saying that they "accidently murdered someone what do we do?"
Poor Ghost, poor traumatized turtles
Lol

Watch me take a break from drawing turtles by drawing.... more turtles X’DDDD
Okay, lemme just say this is not an official AU. It literally came about because 1. I was watching a playthrough of Nier Automata again, 2. I ended up wanting to draw Leo in 2B’s dress, and 3. my other platonic waifu Awa is an enabler and I love her X’DD
Originally I was just going to draw them in the outfits like a cosplay or something, but then my stupid brain got bored and actually tried to make it a legit crossover. So general notes and thoughts on the pic and below:
April is a YoRHa android, but the boys are created by Draxum as anti human weapons
Splinter is a humanoid android from YoRHa, type [E]xecutioner, that got sick of killing and ran away to hide. Draxum found him and used him as a base for the others
They’re turtles because why would Draxum make human robots if he hates humans
Raph was created first, then Leo and Donnie at the same time with Leo being the more careful design and Donnie the more experimental one. Mikey was created last.
Splinter broke them all out of Draxum’s lab after he wiped their memory banks because they were proving to be too compassionate. They were there a total of 3 years, but none of the boys remember it.
They scavange clothing and supplies off dead YoRHa androids, so all their clothes are built for female figures |D
That’s all I have thought. I don’t plan on doing any more with this, it was just a fun break exercise for something new. XD Enjoy.
Also yes April is the only on not in heels, because I thought it would be funny.

For your Other Haft Au, how is the relationship between Saki and Lou? Because for some odd reason, I think the two of them are much closer than Saki and Yoshi.
Like a big brother and little brother dynamic. And since Saki is often the one that reels Lou in, I feel like Lou rants about how strict the clan is to Saki. With Saki at the time agreeing but not leaving the clan, until Lou left/got kicked out and he went insane after he found out about his origins.
I feel like he had a small flashback to when Lou was angry and ranting at how the clan is being ran, and wishing that he could be free. Saki begins to delusion and think that Lou is justifying his reasons to kill the clan after he found out that he’s from the foot. This, uses Lou, Tang Shen, and his origins as his motivations to kill Splinter.
You are so right. Saki and Lou's personality's line up a lot more. Yoshi and Lou are close but if they weren't brothers, they wouldn't be friends.
When Yoshi tries to reel Lou in it normally involves a lecture, which doesn't typically work. Meanwhile Saki would try a much softer a approach where they just chat... Or Saki just picks up Lou and throws him over his shoulder. Yes, Lou rants to Saki a lot mainly about how stupid it is for them to give up living to try and prevent some stupid demon that probably doesn't exist. They would make plans to move to America, Saki wanted to become a writer while Lou wanted to be a movie star, but they would never follow through.
After Lou got kicked out Saki bottled up his emotions and stuck with the clan. He wanted to be there if Lou returned. His anger towards with Yoshi only grew over the years, he hated him for telling Saki to stay, for not visibly grieving, and for never talking about Lou. He doesn't feel like he belongs with the Clan but he doesn't want to leave Yoshi, even though he hates him.
Then he finds out about the Foot Clan. When he starts to rebuild it he tries to make it a place where Lou could be happy. He dreams of Lou returning and joining the Foot followed by Yoshi, it would be like the days when they were kids.
Saki snaps when he finds out about Lou's disappearance. He blames himself for not protecting but he also puts plenty of blame on Yoshi for never caring to check up on his brother. At least Saki kept an eye on him in the news and would watch his movies.
"You don't deserve to be happy." - Saki, about to murder Yoshi
That summarizes Saki and Yoshi's new dynamic.
The reason Shredder hates the turtle so much is because "Oh you care about some stupid teenage turtles BUT NOT YOUR BROTHER"
He also honestly believes he is doing a better job raising Karai then Splinter could.
He is still incredibly angary at Splinter.
I am so glad you enjoy the AU and thanks for the ask! (I got both your asks so I tried to make them one)

TEB Shredder/Karai arc
Heya! Heya! So, and I'm saying this now so you know what to expect… after musing it over, in the end:
I am shortening/summarizing TEB Shredder/Karai arc 🫣
My original idea (and reasons why this won't happen anymore lol) it's below the cut!! Possible TEB Spoilers for Ch 21 - 24(?) you've been warned!
Also, this makes more sense after reading Ch22! So I'd suggest doing that first 😂 it's coming up this Saturday 13th! Just resist temptation for 36HR! XD
So! For the 21st my original idea was for Raph to accompany Bradford all the way to Shredder's lair. Raph would cross paths with them right before Shredder and Karai leave to meet the 12 family. Raph realizes he was tricked, he tries to keep them from leaving the building…
But then (and this is an idea born from the comments of times long past lmao) Mikey's ninpo starts to act up.
What had started as warm love, a reassurance that "we're here with you" had turned into a desperate "don't leave." The orange wrappings were overcharged and starting to burn through the red projection, scolding chains reaching green skin.
The orange energy burns.
So Raph suddenly can't use his ninpo anymore and his arms are injured, so he gets knocked out and imprisoned. Shredder and Karai leave and the ending of canon TEB 21 happens. They encounter the 12 fam.
Shredder lets Splinter know he took Miwa. Other than that, nothing much changes from canon, the fight is a stalemate, the Hamatos manage to escape, and Shredder and Karai return to their base. They need to know where the 12 fam is hiding and the fastest way is to get answers from the turtle in their dungeons.
Karai passes by Raph's cell to go to her "room" (because her Ch21 POV would have remained) so she speaks with the trapped turtle, a bit teasing, a bit taunting, tries to see if she can get some intel by getting under his skin.
Except that's not Raph anymore, but Puffs.
Puffs, who is internally counting down the minutes it will take for him to regain movement in his injured arms so he can wreck the whole place, starting with her, the most cheeky person he's encountered so far. He regards her with a sharp gaze…
…that softens minutely the moment she tells him her name.
Karai was the one that protected them (system), gave up her life for them, the one they failed to protect.
Puffs decides to remain a "prisoner" for a short time, because at the beginning it's easier that way. For as long as he gives off the impression of weakness, then his questions are answered, and he gets to know more about this version of Karai, that only keeps getting more and more relatable for him.
At some point, he and Karai would have gotten to talk about their very similar circumstances, about how not all kinds of love are good.
The man that raised me wanted me to be a soldier, in an upcoming war against humanity.
I have no value to the man who raised me, not beyond my reseamblance to my mother, my worth as kunoichi.
Essentially, this was meant to be a healing arc for both, Karai and Puffs… the parallels of their circumstances.
The exploration of Karai as she unlearns Shredder 's teachings, cope with her trauma, understand that her real father is a rat that could also project onto her the memory of Tang Shen, even if to a much lesser degree than Shredder. She has brothers that are turtles, in her ignorance, she was trying to kill her real blood-related family…. and that's without delving into the Karai of Rise and how Raph (not Puffs) would react!
Can you imagine how long this arc would have been? 🫠🫠🫠
So that was the plan! But alas, longterm story-wise the most important piece of their arc was the healing journey of Puffs, who finds kinship in Karai.
And that healing can be shown in other ways.
Also, in the long run their arc doesn't affect the story. Shredder dies, Karai flies back to Japan... their presence was never meant to be longterm or a main focus in TEB.
Hence, I'm "killing the darling" cool concept, sounded so pretty...
If you're not familiar with what this means, this post is a good reference! (Expressed a bit like a vent tho! xD)
Thus the revised version of this arc! Very summarized~ sorry for those that wanted a more in-depth Karai bond, this is all I can do!
If you'd like to explore this though, feel free to write and add to the TEB AU collection in AO3, I'd love to read you 💕
And that's all, I believe. Thanks for reading me if you bothered to. Hope the story continues to be enjoyable even with the change of plans 🤗
I just wanna reach sooner the part where my Rise turtles come into play!
Tumblr media
P.D. Casualties to this "cut" are, among others I'm probably forgetting: the plans for Leatherhead & Baxter Stockman (uwu)

❝Life is just like the flowing of a river.❞
⇾ final fantasy VII verse ⇾ tag: land of the free; and blood splatters for applause ⇾ status: cross-over; open to interactions
Based on the original ff7 + Crisis Core + the Remake trilogy.
The Uchiha clan is one of the proudest and most respected of Wutai. Their most defining characteristic, the sharingan, is a form of ninjutsu dating from an ancient bloodline and said to have been a gift from Leviathan as reward for their devotion and worship. Among other duties, the clan is responsible for keeping the flames in certain caves lodged in the mountain where the statue of Da-chao was later carved, for the sake of safely storing Wutai's prized items and treasure.
As per a long-standing tradition, the clan head serves as personal guard to the nation's ruler. With Fugaku, therefore, appointed as guard to Godo, Itachi and Sasuke spent their childhood as close friends to Yuffie. From a very young age, Itachi showed great skill in the ninja arts, both in combat and espionage, and eventually joined the Crescent Unit, being assigned the codename Rubrum.
During the period of the Wutai war, Itachi made a name for himself in a similar fashion to Sephiroth, only on the opposite side of the conflict. Around this time, he met and developed a friendship with Sonon, although sadly was just as helpless to prevent Melphie's death. During the battle of Fort Tamblin, Itachi also had the opportunity to briefly exchange words and ideas with Zack, growing to respect his personality and kindness despite crossing paths as enemies.
With the war lost and Fugaku, Mikoto, and Shisui killed in action, Itachi and Sasuke were taken under Godo's personal care. To prove himself worthy despite his still young age, Itachi challenged and successfully overcame the trials of the Pagoda of the Five Mighty Gods - being then allowed to take Fugaku's former position as Godo's guard and also being entrusted with the Leviathan materia.
Whereas not completely in accordance with Godo's newly found passivity and the gradual transformation of Wutai into a tourist resort, Itachi remained loyal in his service for a few years. With Yuffie and Sonon eventually leaving for Midgar to join forces with Avalanche, however, Itachi decided to ask Godo for permission to leave as well - not necessarily for the sake of revenge, even though he does plan on bringing the Shinra Electric Power Company to justice, but to try and find a peaceful resolution for the long-standing tension between Wutai and Midgar.
⇾ Abilities
Shared with Yuffie: elemental ninjutsu, brumal form, doppelgänger
Unique abilities: Amaterasu (single casting of a black-colored, unblockable equivalent of a firaja spell), Tsukuyomi (single casting of a status-altering form of ninjutsu that inflicts confusion, berserk, sleep, poison, darkness, and silence), Susanoo (single casting of a defensive form of ninjutsu that makes the party impervious to both physical and magic attacks for a limited period of time)
⇾ Equipment and Materia
Weapon: katana; fire + magnify, revival, cleansing, chakra
Armor: chain bangle; binding + warding, enemy skill + mime
Enemy skills: magic hammer, death force, trine
Summon materia: Leviathan
Accessory: aureate pinion
⇾ Random little bits
Big fan of Da-chao beans, chocobos, moogles, and tonberries.
Definitely spends a lot of his free time hanging out in the cat house.
Collects Turtle Paradise/Happy Turtle flyers for fun.
The one time he borrowed Yuffie's Steal materia, he actually grabbed an adaman bangle from an Adamantaimai on first try.
Codename Rubrum, unsurprisingly, comes from his sharingan.
The voice of reason whenever Shisui, Sasuke, and Yuffie would gather together to suggest adventures. Imagine that level of chaos.
Before leaving Wutai, Yuffie offered him a moogle cloak just like her own, which Itachi is actually very fond of.
When once exploring the nearby islands with Shisui, they chanced to find an ancient orb of Mime materia, which the two then would share and take turns at using in battle.
Very interested in the study of Planetology and, if possible, would love to visit Cosmo Canyon one day.
Even though he specializes in wielding his katana, he's also very talented with shuriken and staves.
Will demolish you at both Fort Condor and Queen's Blood
Once stared a Malboro in the eye and the Malboro actually felt intimidated and fled the battle.
Chadley, I love you but Leviathan belongs to Wutai, thank you.

Turtle Forever 2?
I know this account hasn’t posted anything in years, but I’m the only one I know who like TMNT and I need to talk about it and get some input for a fan fiction I want to write. Ever since I watched the TMNT Turtles Forever crossover movie, I have been trying to write a Turtles Forever sequel fic where 1987, 2003, 2012, and 2018 TMNT all fight in the Battle Nexus. This is where I need a little help. I can’t decide whether is should be set in the Rise universe with Big Mama running the Battle Nexus or the 2003 Battle Nexus.
On one hand, if it’s in the Rise universe then Big Mama is in charge. I would prefer if Big Mama was in charge because then all the turtle would have something to worry about. She’s the type to make a deal with the winning group of turtles, as in they get to go back home while the others stay and fight in her Battle Nexus. She would have three copies of her champion from Battle Nexus New York, and since she is the one that brought them to her world she would be the only one to put them back. This situation would put a lot of pressure on the turtles to win and would force them to see the other versions of themselves as enemies. If they see each other as enemies then it would be harder to work together to get all of them back to their own world, it would be especially hard to work with the Rise turtles because their existence is the reason why the others were there  fighting in the first place, which is difficult because they would also be the only one to be able to send the other turtles back to their own worlds other than Big Mama. My problem with this is how all the turtles get there. Saying “Big Mama has a mystic device that can bring them there” seems lame because she would have no need to focus on the turtles, she doesn’t really have a need for revenge from them so her motive would be because of more people coming in to see the fighting.
One the other hand, the 2003 Battle Nexus is called that because it takes place in an actual Nexus. It a place between worlds and dimensions so it would make more sense for how they would be stuck in another world in the first place. During the actual fighting I planned on putting all of the different turtles into different fighting games and being in an actual Nexus between world would allow the games to be a lot more creative and not bound by the rules of one universe. However, I haven’t watched all of the 2003. I saw a few episodes, specifically where they sneak off and find Master Splinter at the Battle Nexus. Idk what Leo and the Daimyo’s son’s beef is, but he was sucked up into a rip in space so I can’t just be like “oh the new daimyo has beef with them so he takes all the turtles and forces them to fight” like with the Big Mama scenario, unless I say he comes back to kill his dad again and become the Daimyo but I honestly think he’s dead, so it has to be the original Daimyo. The thing is with that though is that the original Daimyo likes the turtles so he wouldn’t force them to come. If they were all just invited then they’d just fight each other like the rules of the tournament, all friendly like, so there would be no drama. Sure, I could write that there is a conspiracy like how it when before during the Battle Nexus episodes but then there would be no need for the other turtles. I could really stretch it and say there is a completely new Daimyo who either want revenge for the last heir or is such a huge fan that they kidnap a bunch of the turtle to make them fight, Collector from the ow house style were it’s some kid with too much power playing with them, but I’d just prefer not to stretch the lore too much. If it’s a good idea I’ll do it, but I doubt it is. I could just set it before the whole battle Nexus events but once again there would be no need for the other turtles if there is no beef, also I want the 2003 turtles to have meet the other turtles.
Ok so that’s the pros and cons of those ideas. Sorry if this is hard to understand, I kind of just wrote down all the junk I was thinking in the moment so my thought might see all over the place. I know I’m not a popular creator or anything, and not a lot of people care about TMNT crossovers, but whether you plan on reading my work in the future or not, the input would still be helpful. I like writing fan fiction and I plan on making this fic the first fic I post on ao3, my account has the same name as my tumblr. I’ll have more things I’ll need advice about like the winners of games and fights so if you actually interested in this fic follow my account. Ok, thank you! Bye!

This is the last time I do this I SWEAR but I have more questions augh
If there was a 'last ronin' type situation, who would it be?
What are the individual dynamics like between pairs (brains and brawn, a team, etc)? Is there sibling rivalry?
What's splinter like? Is he a good parent?
What are the villains like (shredder, krang, bishop, etc)
Which iteration inspired you the most?
I'm sorry for all the questions, again, you don't have to answer all of them!! I'm just super curious and incredibly invested
Please don't make this the last time you do this, we LOVE answering questions!
1. Thinking about this, at first we thought it was a pretty even tie between Raph and Lee, with Raph having a wide variety of magical skills and a general talent when it comes to using them to their full potential, but in terms of raw power, determination, and efficiency, it all goes to Lee. A last Ronin Lee would be very bitter and revenge focused, you wouldn't want to cross her, her powers were already inherently deadly even when she didn't want to kill (most people) with them.
2. This became a whole thing so we're gonna put all that in its own post so no one has to deal with that wall of text!
3. Splinter tries his best, can't say he's perfect because no parent is, especially in circumstances like the one the Hamatos are in, but for the most part he tried to raise them like regular kids. The earliest form of their training came when Lee was around 6, and it was only agility training in the form of sports and fun games. When Lee was 10 lessons became self defense, and then when she was 13 that evolved into the basics of martial arts, her siblings being introduced to the lessons at the same ages she had been introduced to them. It could be rough sometimes, they had to move homes every few years, and Splinter had been very obviously keeping things from them, but he was trying to both protect them from knowledge that would have put them in danger and also slowly introduce them to the seriousness of their situation at an age appropriate time. If there was a guidebook for raising kids while in hiding, Splinter hadn't found one, so he had to go with his gut a lot unfortunately.
4. Well, Shredder (and above him, the Krang) is the main villain for this au. He's been a pain in the ass for a long, long time, and it might be kinda obvious but he's the reason Splinter is in hiding, the reason why a lot of things went wrong and are as bad as they are. He hasn't even done much himself really, at least, he hadn't done much before Splinter's disappearance, and even after that the turtles didn't even know he existed for years, but the threat itself isn't what Shredder can do, its the power the Krang have, so without them the Shredder is kinda a bit of a joke, not in the full comic relief way, more in the "the worst he can do is stab somebody" way, he's a good fighter for sure, but he's beatable.
Other than the Shredder Krang alliance, the villains are kinda average, they'd all be considered an episodic villain, one plan in one episode and then they disappear for a little while before coming back with a new plan that'll be dealt with in that same episode. Bishop specifically we thought about for a long time, but in the end we decided to not have him appear in this iteration (at least, not in what we consider "part one" of the iteration, we'll go over his potential again to see if he would suit "part two" more), he just didn't suit the tone.
For original villains, we do have one group, we've mentioned them before, the polyamorous theatre group, who's theatre had been a casualty to one of Angie's bombs resulting in them swearing to ruin the turtles lives (and trying to rob banks and stuff on the side, to get enough money to rebuild), they have every skill you can think of and teach them to each other, and they can appear anywhere thanks to those skills, anything from being an ominous group of knive wielding chefs to a construction crew working late. They go all in on costumes and always stay in character, so they don't even really have distinguishable identities, which makes it even harder to tell when they're gonna show up.
5. Largely when we think of litpm, we draw from 2012, with a little bit of Rise thrown in for certain characters and dynamics
Don't apologise for asking! We really love being given an excuse to ramble about this au, sometimes its hard to figure out how to get our ideas out because we don't even know where to start sharing, so having questions to answer is a lifesaver!
(We'll be posting the answer to #2 in a sec, its already ready to go, so keep an eye out for that too!)

12 Days of Christmas
Tumblr media
TW: Fluffiness.
SUMMARY: Pope’s final gift for his 12 Days of Christmas plan leaves you to consider your future…
WORD COUNT: 1100
*ORIGINAL CONCEPT*
12 Days of Christmas
Pope had a way of making everything special. It didn’t need the glamor of a Kook’s touch or an expensive price tag to make you proud to flaunt whatever gift he had given you. But as you stood at the edge of The Chateau for the final day of his ‘12 Days of Christmas extravaganza’ that had every day bringing you a gift in following with the song, you didn’t understand what this had to do with the final day ‘12 drummers drumming’. And to make your anxiety worse, you were left in wait well beyond the time you were summoned for, which was unlike your boyfriend as he prided himself on being punctual, if not early. So to leave you waiting, especially when he made every day special, aside from the 5th day as he was caught working the holiday rush, you found it nerve wracking and even considered something had happened to him. But in the final moments where you would return to The Chateau and to your phone, you watched him move into the direction of the dock.
“I was beginning to worry…” He nervously offered a lift of his shoulder, before slowly nodding in your direction while your fingers began to fondle the first gift he’d given you for his ‘plan’. The partridge in a pear tree that had been in the form of a necklace, twisted in the pads of your pinched touch until sliding through your hair held behind by two berets made of turtle doves, a gift from the second day.
“Can I have you look this over? Just to make sure?” You gave a curious glance before he produced a handwritten list of the song, lyrics drawn out with his notes set along the side of each gift you’d been given.
“Um…There is one…But you’ve already done so much-”
“No, if it’s on there, I need to know if I missed anything…”
“The fifth day…” You eventually confessed as he continued to push.  His eyes narrowed for a second in thought before he looked over the list.
“Five golden rings…” He sang to himself for a second before pulling a box from his pocket.
“I knew I forgot one-”
“You were working, and Pope, you have been doing this all month, it’s-”
“And you deserve it. You deserve more than one day or one gift so…” With this, he slipped the velvet box closer to you as you opened it to reveal a beautiful dual set of diamond earrings.
“Pope!”
“The first set were my mom’s…and the second were my grandma’s…” Tears filled your eyes as you shook your head in disbelief, knowing it was polite to say you couldn’t accept them, but finding it too heartwarming of a moment to do anything but admire them.
The weight behind them was freeing to you as it was a commitment to his love for you. More than anything else could be as this came from his family, something he held as close as the Pogues set on the deck at your back, in view of something you weren’t quite prepared for happening.
“One…two…three..four…dammit, there’s only four…”
“It’s okay-this is-This is so…Pope, really-”
“It must have dropped…it was something from my great grandma…” Your eyes immediately darted as he pointed to the direction further down the dock.
“Is THAT something?” He made you turn your focus to the far side of the wood beneath your feet as you bent over to try and analyze what must have been a mirage for his gaze.
“I don’t see-” As you turned back to face him, you found him on one knee, the final gift now broadcast in his hand, a stunning diamond ring collecting the Carolina sun.
“I didn’t forget about the last ring or the fifth day…This was actually the first thing I got out of everything…”
“Pope-”
“It killed me not to say anything and honestly to not do this first, but I knew it would be worth it…for that smile…That smile I want to see everyday for the rest of my life…” You chuckled in disbelief, tears coming down your cheeks, “That laugh I wanna hear…those tears I want seldom, but to be there to wash them away and make them a rarity…” He took a deep breath, collecting himself before continuing.
“You have made me the happiest I have ever been and more than I ever thought I could be. You make me feel so strong when I’m weak and powerful when I’m less than. You have my entire heart and I want to give you my entire future…because you’re it. You in it, you’re all of it.”
“Oh my God…” You pulled your hands to your face in further disbelief while your name was spoken in its entirety.
“Will you please make me the happiest man on the entire planet-any other ones surrounding us, promising to marry me? Will you marry me?”
“Yes! Yes Pope, I will!” You were taken into a tight hug, the ring temporarily in abandon as you took in the feeling of his embrace, an embrace that was now promised to you for the rest of your joined lives.
“I can’t wait to put it on-” He broke the kiss you shared once feeling your tears on his cheeks. You nodded, extending your left hand to him before he slipped it on that special finger, a silent announcement to any who saw, that you were officially engaged to the man you loved.
“There is one thing else…” You added as his brows raised.
“12 drummers?” You asked as he cocked his jaw.
“Drum roll please?!” He called to the pogues as they beat on the wood of the deck.
“You thought of everything, didn’t you?”
“Almost…” You were suddenly swept in his arms and taken to the porch of The Chateau.
“I want to give you a little preview of what it will be like to be Mrs. Heyward…” Your smile widened at the mention.
“Everyone out!” He called as the Pogues commented in a playful nature how they felt used before you were taken into the bedroom, an engaged woman on this very Christmas, your heart as full as his hands were with your hips as he committed to you in every way as the evening snow began to coat the ground of a perfect Christmas.

The Blue Guard Info part 2
Previous/ Next
Master Post
Info on Au:
(2012/Rise) When Leo is with Shredder he doesn’t care about anyone or anything, besides Karai. After being taken in by the 2012 turtles Leo starts to open up but is afraid that their love and kindness is conditional like the Shredders. It takes him a while to fully open up to the 2012 turtles and during this time he places himself in the background. He tries to have as little impact as possible so they will not abandon him. After he opens up and sees they do love him and aren’t going to leave Leo starts to place himself more in the group and becomes more involved. When Leo returns to Rise he is unsure. Leo has been gone for so long that his brothers have made a new dynamic without him. Leo no longer thinks he belongs with them but he wants to be with them. He believes his brothers have an “idea” of what Leo is supposed to be. Leo is supposed to be the perfect big brother. He is not. Leo has hurt, even killed, people for the Shredder. Leo goes back to trying to stay in the background and not make an impact, choosing to just go along with what his brother want so that he doesn’t disappoint them. Leo goes back to being afraid that he will be abandoned and cast aside if he becomes too much trouble (doesn’t live up to expectations). Once he sees that his brothers don’t care and show they are not going to leave him Leo becomes more open with them. This is when Leo starts to becomes more relaxed, jokes around more, and becomes more outspoken about his own interests and what he wants to do.
(Rise) Mikey actually lost hope of finding Leo when Donnie stopped looking. The only reason he held onto whatever was left and continued to search was because if it was even slightly possible that he would find Leo then his brothers would be happy again.
(Rise) Mikey doesn’t even remember Leo but he knows they where close because his brothers told Mikey about Leo. Leo and Donnie where always together as kids, but Leo was always taking care of and playing with Mikey when Raph wasn’t. When little Mikey had a bad dream or got scared at night he would go to Leo. After Leo opens up to his brothers again Mikey goes back to this. Leo and Mikey were close as kids. Even if Mikey was 3 Leo would still do “4 year old stuff” with him and sometimes they would try to do “5 year old stuff” together. Leo always called doing thinks he could but Mikey wasn’t allowed to doing “4 year old stuff” and doing things Raph could that they weren’t allowed to doing “5 year old stuff”, because big kids where allowed to do certain things and little kids weren’t. Leo was also the one who read Mikey his bedtime story when they where little, though it was more he made up stories.  Leo could read and write thanks to Donnie being the genius he is and helping Leo learn, but Leo had a hard time reading and was slow with it. In the end Leo would get impatient and just start telling his own story. After he disappeared Raph took over bedtime stories.
(Rise) Raph remembers Leo, but not the day he was taken. Raph remembers what it felt like but not the day itself. It was a trauma response as well as time that contributed to his lost memory.. Raph feels really guilty for not remembering what happened as well as for not being there. If Raph ever finds out Shredders original plan had been to take him he would feel even guiltier. If the Shredder had taken him then Raph could have saved his brother from going through all that.
(Rise) Donnie remembers the best out of his brothers, having hyperthymesia, the ability to remember almost every event in your life. He remembers everything that happened that day as if it was just yesterday, and he hates it. Donnie hates remembering that day, but he never wants to forget it. If he forgets that day it’s like forgetting Leo. When Donnie thinks about that day or Leo the scars he got from Shredder will itch. He has two vertical lines from his upper right shell to his upper left arm. Donnie will wear a blue band around the scar on his arm in honor of his lost brother. He also always has something covering his shell whether it’s his battle shell or a hoodie. Donnie does not like looking at or having his scars in the open. (I think Donnie with Hyperthymesia is funny because in the show he denies remembering questionable things he has done even though it’s obvious he does remember doing them.)
(Rise) Splinter does not like looking at his sons together because he knows there should be four where there is 3. He is better when it is one or two of them, but when all three come to him he will not look at them but will listen to them. He is still absent like in the show, preferring to sleep, but he is very strict when it comes to leaving. Under no circumstances are they allowed out of the lair without him. After Leo is taken he spends every waking minute trying to find him, but each day he fails a little more of him is chipped away. It breaks him in two when he decides to stop looking. Splinter attempts to make a shrine for Leo but could never bring himself to finish. Splinter does not leave his room anymore except to get food and supplies from the surface. Every night however he will walk to the bedrooms to check to make sure he has all 3 sons accounted for. He tries his best to be there for his sons and to take care of them, but it is hard to get out of bed most days knowing that when he does his baby blue isn’t going to be there. Splinter still spends time with his sons, or rather they spend time with him. Raph cleans the room some and sits with him. Mikey brings him food and talks about anything and everything. Donnie doesn’t come to see him often, but when he does he usually just sits in the room on his computer. Splinter loves his sons and spending time with them and wants so desperately to be able to do more. He does have good days where he can get out of bed and do things for his sons, but these are easily broken when all three boys are together. After Leo returns Splinter starts to be more involved with them. He goes back to how he was in the show where he would watch tv all day, but he is able to look at all his sons again and be there for them. It is still hard for him to get out of bed, but he tries to be there for his sons. That’s all that matters to the turtles is that he is in fact trying. Of course he still does not take things seriously with there training until after the rise Shredder armor is almost complete.
(2012/Rise) When Aoi is with the foot he wears a black ninja mask. When he joins the turtles he wears a light blue ninja mask with lighter blue color at the end of the mask tails curling into wisps as it goes up.
2012) Karai and Aoi would look at the stars together when they where younger. This nurtured Aoi’s love for the stars. Aoi loves anything to do with the stars even. He finds both astrology and astronomy both interesting.
(Rise) Leo’s brothers find out he likes the stars and that he has a lot of knowledge about them. They start asking him random things as he seems happy talking about the starts. Mikey asks about the legend of the big and little dipper as he was genuinely curious. Blue tells his brothers about the two constellations. “The Big Dipper is part of the Ursa Major constellation, also known as the Great Bear. In Greek mythology, Zeus’s wife Hera turned his mistress Callisto into a bear. Years later, Arcas, son of Callisto and Zeus, nearly speared the bear, but Zeus intervened and threw mother and son into the heavens, where they became constellations. Callisto became the Great Bear; Arcas, the Little Bear (Ursa Minor, which includes the Little Dipper).” He also tells them about the symbolism “When the Big Dipper is upright, the Little Dipper is upside down, because their handles extend in opposite directions. Similar to yin and yang, this orientation symbolizes balance…Bonded forever, your love burns as bright as the stars and lasts as long as the heavens can reach.” The symbol is also commonly worn as a reminder of people you care about. If you pair the symbol with the moon and stars or zodiac symbols it represents the vast endless your love and connection is. (Info from here)
(Rise) After the brothers take Leo star gazing Mikey makes them all bracelets. Leo finds his in a small box in front of his room one day. The bracelet has a blue braided band with a metal plat in the center with the symbol of the big and little dipper surrounded by stars and a moon in the background. The other brothers have the same bracelet, but the bands are in the respected colors of each brother. Splinter and April also have a bracelet. Splinter has a white bracelet and April a green one. Leo never asks about the bracelets and the others don’t say anything. Leo never takes the bracelet off and neither do the others.

Extremely Complicated and Detailed Analysis of the Vellumentals: An Essay
Tumblr media
Idk why but those guys and their lore has kinda bothered me. So, I shall move through the gameplay and analyze their presence, meaning, and whatever the fuck is going on with them! Note that much of this is going to be hypothesis, speculation, and also verrryyyy long-
Without further ado, enjoy!
Tumblr media
The first mention of them is with the Koopas at the Earth Vellumental Temple, where we are presented with the fact that the vellumentals are these enormous, god-like beings, that likely existed for a long while.
Specifically with the Earth Vellumental, we find it to be worshiped by the koopas, likely bc theyre both turtles. In the exhibit, we see its very obviously a coin grab with all the lights and documentaries etc, the curator confirming this and adding:
Tumblr media
Crafted from their imagination? Real thing? Speaking of which, why hasnt any koopa even NOTICED it's all a sham?! Well, I'd like to propose that, perhaps, once upon a time the vellumentals were greatly worshiped (notice the similar and unique architecture among their resting places. I doubt they themselves could build something so sophisticated with their giant hands), however the practice of worshiping them simply died out like many ancient religions, only their houses of worship remaining.
This would explain why the koopas were so easily swayed by the curator; they had nothing to go off of! And, likely, the vellumentals were just seen as myths or rumors, the curator transforming that into its own religion.
Basically, the vellumentals were originally worshiped by paper folk, who built grand architecture in their honor and image, only to eventually die down over the years for some unknown reason with only fragments of their memory now.
Tumblr media
Anyways, later on we see the earth vellumental itself, now folded (and probably stapled) by olly and brainwashed to do his bidding for obtaining his power and destroying our path (it's up for debate if they attack bc of getting all corrupted and fucked by olly or bc he commanded them to do so). This alone implies that the vellumentals were originally paper and are in fact real ancient spirits/gods with the power to manipulate the elements. Which would give a very plausible reason for why they were worshiped
Furthermore, the reason why Olly could fold them could be bc he was just changing their form instead of killing, and the reason we could "defeat" them was because they were already in a weak and vulnerable state (that or the curator was just lying but idk i think gods should be immortal n all).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once we defeat it, we see a sequence similar to that of the defeat of the legion of stationery; a big bright flash of light, before it simply.. shrinks down and its form becomes simply a vellumental circle and a "bibliofold".
Since we are talking about a fucking GOD here, i'd like to interpret this scene as not death, but rather, the vellumental's physical form being destroyed, reducing it back to its spiritual form. I'd also like to believe what Olivia says about it is true:
Tumblr media
Maybe it KNEW of how evil Olly's plans were, how the crew saved it from its painful folded form and wanted to reward them, and provide aid in their quest to stopping him. it's just a nice thought...
But...what exactly are the bibliofolds?? Well, it's not explicitly explained, but from what is implied and the fact that Olly mentions them, I think it can be theorized that the bibliofolds are basically the vellumentals handing off their power, whether by force or will. In this case, they provide the knowledge of origami folding into images of themselves (I'd like to think Olly folded them himself and got the instructions and ability to fold himself and use the power), as only Olly and Olivia can possess the folding power in the first place
What about the vellumental circles? well, as i have previously theorized about magic circles, they are lil pockets of energy that give the user the sheer power and energy to do the transformation they otherwise couldnt do normally, which are usually created unintentionally from the insane overflow and usage of magic. So, yeah I think it's the same as 1000 fold arm magic circles.
With this information in mind, I'm going to continue the discussion about the rest of the vellumentals as well as their collective lore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the Water vellumental, we dont get too much information, except for the fact that the shrine may or may not have transformed into more of a tourist location? and also that there may actually be a few people who still DO worship the vellumental (notice the empty tuna cans by the lil offering post. unless thats just litter)
Tumblr media
The yellow streamer poses much more interesting lore, such as the presence of vellumental worship via statues and images, implying it was the ancient ones who worshiped the vellumentals in their religion and were likely the builders of the houses of worship and such we see throughout the game. (Most of the important vellumental locations here seem to be mostly untouched, likely due to nobody seeming to be able to make money off of it from not understanding the ancient ones)
And while, this is not gonna be an analysis on the ancient ones themselves, there's certainly going to be overlap between the two.
For example, when are faced with the puzzle of finding the fire vellumental, there is a mural that directly references the vellumental's ability. And while this could be just a game mechanic, I do not care and im going to include it in the lore
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This would further concrete the idea that the ancient ones were the ones to worship the vellumentals, as well as directly relying on them during rituals such as in the puzzle we see here. But there's something that doesnt make sense.
Tumblr media
Why is there a vellumental circle here? How could it possibly be made from those lanky towers if previously, it was established that only origami could harness this power?? How would the ancient ones even USE it??? Well, I propose an idea: perhaps they, due to their worship, were able to harness the powers of the vellumentals, given to them as a gift. Perhaps because they had their own "bibliofolds" from them, they were able to use these circles in a way different than what we see with origami. The circles still functioned the same in providing energy, its just that because the ancient ones could harness the vellumental power, they too could use these circles. I mean, think about it; Olivia cant use the circles without the bibliofolds AND it would only make sense given their knowledge of the vellumentals in comparison to what we see today.
This would also explain the reason why the temple was buried. We know from Professor that it was to protect the resting place of Shroomses from being robbed at night, but the way it seems to sink into the earth seems unreasonable... unless of course they somehow harnessed the power of the earth vellumental to control it??? And it could also explain how Captain T. Ode's imprisonment in a block of ice, only to be revealed under the sun would work???? ;o)
Moving onto the Great Sea, which might I say, is truly great in the amount of lore given.
Tumblr media
Diamond Island is a very unique place, with so many questions unanswered.
I can give an easy answer to the trials: During ancient times, people were able to go on some sort of quest in the Great Sea to prove their worth to be able to find the "paradise". The worthy were ferried to Diamond island to prove themselves using the ultimate tests (note how the trials are extremely standardized and refer to you as just "traveler"), obtaining three orbs that would lead them to the sea tower.
I dont understand the reason for the Ice Vellumentals residing place to be here or why it is completely underground, but perhaps, as mentioned prior, wielding the vellumental power was more well known and used, adding on Another difficult challenge of traveling to the mountain to get that power from it to get to the three main trials. It's also probably underwater to make the trials much more difficult to get to for the common people, making this challenge truly only for the worthy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then what about the Sea Tower, the final Vellumental themed area? Well, I hypothesis it to be the most important house of worship, in which only the ones who are truly worthy of the vellumental power can visit such a sacred place. We see so many references to each of them (as well as the need for using their power) it would only make sense.
And the reward for passing such trials and being blessed by vellumental power is the transport to Paradise, or what I'd like to believe is some sort of form of heaven, Shangri Spa, filled with only white toads (which we have never seen before), and highly restricted from the public (Bowser's army doesnt count, as during the ancient times, such technology likely didnt exist and allow for outside easy access).
Essentially, the vellumentals were these ancient gods or spirits of sorts, working alongside the ancient ones, granting them some of their powers (and providing a paradise for the worthy), in return for praise and worship, in which the ancients would build many structures in their honor and for them to inhabit. However, the ancient ones died off, their religion following. For an unknown reason the vellumentals must have stowed away in their houses of worship, now becoming only a myth, lost to time. Eventually, their existence would be uncovered, when King Olly learned of them to exploit their powers, now becoming what we see today.
And thats all i got for you guys! Thank you for reading if you did!
