s3ep1: the bone plot
“Its fallen off again!”
“Only the other evening fanny and I were in stitches while recalling the satirical skewering of socio-political institutions in the mikado.”
“Hysterical.” “side-splitting.” “riotous” “agreed.” “i concur.”
“Found it!” “him!”
“You didn’t tell us you were famous!” “Am I?”
“Certainly wasn’t...straightforward.” “What? One chop? Well, it sounds pretty straightforward to me.”
“Bit of brekkie, Sophie?”
“Tapestry? Maybe? Or you could learn some English? Or there’s archery? Or you could learn a bit of English?”
“How surprising! I'm surprised!”
“That is offensive to at least five different religions.” “And there are only three in it.”
“there’s a nun, a gorilla and a paedophi-”
“Yeah, you're making this very slow and painful unlike his execution.”
“Tell the old guff to go die on his own property!”
“He just appeared! Like posh batman.”
“Stammering like a chicken-hearted clown”
“The butler burnt the butter but the bacon bore the brunt”
“because of the frisson” “the frisson?” “The frisson!”
“Hands at your side you're not a seagull”
“Anyway, where was I?” “About to die.”
“This isn't the life you signed up for. Go, have another one.”
“What is a butt Ho? Are you the butt Ho?”

Slegers on Their Pitch was super interesting. If people after this still don't get there's a huge difference between coaching, playing football and analysing they'll never understand how football works or the multitude of aspects you need to take into consideration (as a coach)

Roman needs to die. OD in a ditch somewhere, or something. No amount of daddy issues and trauma will gain enough sympathy for this dumbass character.
Ken can end as a bum beneath a bridge in New York.
Shiv? Coward. Two-faced snake. It's woods time for you.
Connor. You beautiful dumbass. Die in your dirt mansion.

forever obsessed with dynamics between vampires, specifically that of a maker and fledgling, as a way to explore abuse. the creation of a vampire itself can so easily be a literalization of the lasting impacts of trauma and also much more simply the ways a perpetrator might shape their victim’s very identity. the extremes of isolation in the way that the new vampire, in most narratives, must cut all ties to their mortal life, or else go through an elaborate charade to maintain the facade of humanity, while forever still being removed from it. and the sheer dependence and vulnerability of being in an entirely new state of being, wholly uncertain of what it entails, and relying on another person to define… everything.
