Hands-down the most useful tip for anyone trying to figure out how divisions of astral, etheric, spiritual, etc. work (especially in relation to the mechanics of magic, the paranormal, the supernatural, etc.) is acknowledging that they all have phases and states of "matter" affected by levels of energy like the physical does, and that those phases and states will affect their own "matter type" differently than they will affect others depending on those energy levels.

I kept referencing that Irminsul is also the Tree of Time and that its influence also stretches into the future, which gives sense to Dain being able to know what happens in the future as per Travail and some miscellanies, but—

my fellow americans. i say with great apprehension that in the aftermath of shifters coming out of the wolf den the fear of werewolves has quite possibly eclipsed the fear of vampires turning you gay 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🧛❤️🧛🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 now as vampire citizens of the united states of america we must grapple with what it means for exsanguinating love to win as transpeciesphobia enters the forefront of public discourse in our unsettled nation.

America's Shining Star?
Monday Motivation - What is on the other side of fear?
The faith to keep pressing on despite insecurities, despite naysayers and despite what it naturally looks like. When I quit a full-time corporate management level job with benefits to pursue a passion most people (including family) thought I was crazy. Nonetheless, I knew I was called to be a creative entrepreneur so I took that leap and didn't look back. It was a lot of work and still is, there are a lot of days where I go to sleep with a question mark in my mind but I still don't give up. I remember praying that if I was supposed to be in the beauty industry that God would have to heal my hands from shaking. It wasn't a nervous shake it was something that they just used to do.
Well 16-years later here I am winning awards both nationally and internationally about to travel overseas because those prayers were indeed answered! I entered the beauty industry older than most of my peers yet I had one thing most did not, a business background and an unmatched drive to become so skilled at what I put my hands to do that I knew it was God working through me.
As I prepare for a new adventure in hair styling as the Denman Stage Star USA I am in prep mode. Yet when I saw this as a full page in a magazine it made me pause. Why? The headline reads America's Shining Star! Me, a black woman who is over 40-years old and on her second career has been selected to represent the United States? Ummmm, yeah girl YOU! I am going to represent in more ways than one as this is so much bigger than just me. It is for other single parents who have doubted themselves, it is for women over 40 who are beginning to think they are "too old", it is for Black women, Hispanic women, Asian women, Pacific Islanders, Biracial women and all women who haven't taken the leap yet to be encouraged to climb that mountain of fear and conquer it with the grace deep within.

Thank you so much Beauty Launchpad for this write up. I look forward to London this fall and plan to bring home the Global win for Denman Brush!

"Rarity" and AJ!
Ponyville's most premier fashion designer, "Rarity." After traveling Europe and apprenticing with the haute couture visionaries of France and England––under the persona of a Shanghai socialite––she returned to the states a reinvented woman, leaving behind her past.
April-Jacqueline, the proud proprietor of the Apple Family Farm––a communal touchstone of Ponyville's hootenannies and barn-burners, as well as the town's largest orchard. A believer in Southern hospitality and an appreciator of applejack liquor, rodeos, and her Winchester rifle.

layla is more micro in her focus. she wants to help people, wants to help individuals. she is trying to help the people in her life. she’s not someone who is fighting for big, lasting change. this is not to say that she does not care about this because she does! she just focuses more on the people around her.

Independence Day is quite significant to me. I don’t celebrate it, but I think of it daily and its meaning in my journey to becoming POTUS… so that I am always acting as an extension of our Founding Fathers.
The “American Dream” planted seeds all over the world and is the only reason my parents risked their lives to come to this country.
The “American Dream” is the only reason I exist. My parents ran away from communism and socialism for the opportunity to work hard and struggle in the directions they’re inclined in without any government interference.
I realize some Americans have forgotten about that Dream and why the Founding Fathers risked their lives. So I’m curious what is the significance of today for you?

🚨BREAKING: Texas Governor Greg Abbott has released a statement outlining states' rights to constitutional self-defense when dealing with a "lawless president":
"James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border."
HOLD THE LINE TEXAS.

A funny thing about the attempt to make Scorsese into one pole of those "highbrow (actually middlebrow) vs. middlebrow (actually lowbrow) art" tastes-great-more-filling stealth advertising things - okay, let's start over, a funny thing about Disney/Marvel directors and Scorsese talking shit on each other is this:
Scorsese views himself mostly as a craftsman, his films primarily as a jobsite, and gets asked questions about movies as part of that (admittedly very weird) job. His admirers see him as a visionary artist, but that's ultimately secondary for him to getting shit like cinematography, casting, direction, etc right - the things a director does, not what they aspire to. This is all over how he talks about other directors, focusing primarily on craft; it's actually pretty rare for him to make blanket statements about such-and-such a genre being artless schlock, the sort of shit you'd hear from someone who is a film critic for a living rather than gladhanding producers for a living.
The Disney/Marvel directors view themselves mostly as artists, their films primarily as a form of self-expression (admittedly under tight limits imposed by the demands of money), and are strongly incentivized to engage in something we might call "counter-criticism" by a mix of ego and studio pressure. Their concerns are at the end of the day artistic concerns, prestige and respect for achieving finished films, which is measurable in part by box office returns and in part by aggregate critical reception - which skews absurdly positive to begin with! But negative reviews by people they can't brush off are something they have an incredibly difficult time tolerating.
This state of affairs is, to put it lightly, incredibly strange. Scorsese is globally admired as a filmmaker with a specific artistic vision, but his vocabulary and concerns in embodying that vision are technical. The various directors of Disney/Marvel films are a revolving door of hired hands who have, exercise, and seemingly desire close to zero creative control over their most noteworthy work - and yet their concerns are artistic.
This is a dialogue that takes place on a smaller scale in many forms of art; it's extremely commonplace for artists with outsized industrial-scale success (and let us diplomatically say significantly compromised fidelity to their stated desires as artists) to wear the brittle persona of a misunderstood visionary, and for the actual visionaries who have achieved some notoriety (and the nobodies who live in their shadow) to have primarily technical and economistic concerns, and for these two groups to frequently butt heads while talking completely past each other. Something something Walter Benjamin, I guess!
