Phew, this one is pretty cool. It's essentially a monster dating sim but with a horror twist. Each love interest is a yandere in their own right, and each MC is a different character with different circumstances and insights, which I thought was pretty interesting. The premise itself is essentially matching up humans with monsters, but I think the way its done is pretty cool. This person also worked on Home's Embrace, which does explain the yandere endings in this one as well.

What's Your Name is about dating monsters, specifically a merman, a pair of dragons and a lampir. The game starts out with an introduction and quiz to match up each suitor, and based on that, you get the monster to date. The service warns you that there is only one chance at the date, and if the monster doesn't give you his name by the end of it, it will be considered a failure. In addition, you are not to give your name to the monster until he gives his name to you, as names have strong powers. For this, we'll go in order of the Lampir, Dragons and Merman since that's the order I went through.

For the Lampir, the MC in this one is a bit of a tsundere brat, only going on the date to sate her friends constant bugging of her not having a date. She wants to get in and out as soon as possible. The Lampir introduces himself and brings him into his mansion to talk. They talk about a lot of things like his lack of fashion style, his need for cleanliness and the reason why he started to date humans. It seems that he had tried dating other lampirs before, but because of his long life and personality, it's difficult. He also used to be human, living in essentially the dark ages until he became a lampir. After a tour around the house, some very loud screeching, he flies around with the MC in his arms. She admits the reason she started dating him initially was because of the peer pressure she had, though the lampir eventually grew on her. He reveals his name and the two have a nice midnight flight. On his bad endings the Lampir generally paralyzes the MC to use as feeding, except for his true bad ending where he instead keeps her forever, even stating that he'll transfer her soul into other bodies if need be.

For the dragons, the MC in this one is a business lady and is met with twin dragons. It's not what the MC expects and she gets teased by the two of them. She tries to leave, but they turn into their animal forms, to which the MC cannot resist their charms. We learn about the dragon's origin and why they are dating the MC. It seems that this species of dragon share a soul, where they have to date the same person, since they are of the same being. It was really hard for them to date anyone since most creatures seem to be monogamous, except for humans which can be polyamorous. The MC ends up going into a dress store and tries on a dress after the dragon's praise and we see that she doesn't often get the chance to do such things because of her professional life. In the end, the dragons give her their names and the three of them get together. Amongst bad endings, there's a theme of the dragon's uncle, whom has a hobby for making dolls of people, something that the dragons turn the MC into given the opportunity. There's also themes of the dragons paralyzing the MC or just physically killing her if she's done something wrong.

Finally the merman. In this one, the MC is a person who wants to have a family but is worried of the complications of mixed children between them and the merman. The merman is initially a bit shy, but opens up to her about his own family, about his sisters and mother, and how they are pretty protective over him. He's pretty innocent believing that touching hands is enough to get her pregnant and wants to have children with the MC. He's a bit saddened by the prospect of the two not having children, though he cheers up and is happy when the MC seems to find a more shortcut way to have them. After rocking on the boat, listening to the merman sing and calming him down after a storm, the MC has to leave, and the merman calls out her name, as he read it on her wetsuit. The MC refuses to turn around until the merman tells her his name. In the bad endings, the family theme comes into play as well, with the sisters dragging the MC into the ocean on certain bad endings, and the merman himself dragging her into a sea cave so they can have children together and so that he can pamper her himself.

Amongst the candidates, I think the merman is probably my favorite just because of how cute his reactions are with the MC sometimes, and probably has the most "loving" relationship with her even in the bad endings. Each monster has it's own yandere ending, which ends up with the MC disappearing in the dating service's eyes and leaving a report of a missing person, though they don't seem to actually do much. Personally, I'd say that the dragons aren't really so much as yanderes considering in the bad endings they sort of just throw her away to become a doll in favor of getting a better human though you could argue something similar for the Lampir since he also uses the MC for a food supply in one of the endings. The dragons are also polyamorous, which while I think the concept does work in this case (since they "share a soul" you can think of the two as one soul in two bodies), I still think the way they went about the bad endings make them seem less loving as a yandere and more as them using the MC as a toy to play around with. Still though, that's more on what my opinions on there, as there are such things as doll maker yanderes, which is likely what the creator was going for, so I can understand if there are arguments for the dragons being yanderes, I just think they're the "least" yandere out of all of them. I like how each MC is different since it gives different chemistry with each of the monsters and has a different outlook in life that synergizes with the personalities of each monster. Each of the monsters worst endings are also unique to their yandere "theme" which is pretty cool as well.

Overall, a fun game and who doesn't want to date monsters? In addition there's a special segment where we learn more about the monsters in general once you play the game. Have fun dating your yandere boys!
